Crown Princess Mary's bridge is inaugurated

28th September

It was a very special day, when Crown Princess Mary arrived to Frederikssund on Saturday. The Crown Princess was about to inaugurate a newly built bridge - her very own bridge. Or at least it is named after her. The bridge now connect the vest and north of Sjælland, and is crossing Roskilde Fjord.

The Crown Princess was in a splendid mood when arriving to Frederikssund. Despite the weather not showing the best of what we call Danish Fall weather, she was one big smile. We get why, right? How often do you get to open your very own bridge? Not often. Around 10,000 people had showed up to participate the inauguration. By participate, I mean literally participate. As part of the inauguration the 10,000 attendances would either walk or run a one mile, 5 kilometers or cross the bridge in a 10 kilometers walk or run. The Crown Princess chose to walk one mile - yes in 100mm heeled shoes.

Right from the beginning, people wanted her attention. All wanted a picture and a handshake, and that is what they got. Crown Princess Mary took plenty of time to talk with and meet many of the attendances.

If I have had the chance to show up and get a picture of her, I would by no doubt have done that. Especially because she wore the more incredible outfit. Mary wore exactly what to wear when you open a bridge named after you. And she really looked outstanding in that red and navy blue color combo. At Royal Fashion Blog I learned that she was in fact wearing a Harris Wharf London coat, here. I turns out that it is not a new coat. I believe she has worn it before, among others, at the Women Deliver conference 2019 on June 5th, here. The stunning brooch is new and with a little help it was found on Ebay at Crystalitzy. The red dress is also a reuse. It comes from Michael Kors. I had completely forgotten about this dress until Kate reminded me that Mary has such a dress. Love that she matched the large bow.

I am sure you also noticed her wonderful new fascinator. It is really elegant and stylish. Can not wait to see how she is going to wear it in the future. Kate managed to identify this new piece as a creation from Jane Taylor. Imagine to find ones design on top of that head of hers? The new fascinator is a perfect match to the rest of her outfit, just as the stunning new Jimmy Choo pumps. A lovely pair of navy blue suede pumps. Great pair of shoes for winter time that is just around the corner.

Carlend Copenhagen also proudly shared that Mary was wearing one of their blue python clutched by the name of Aicha. A stunning new piece to her huge collection of bags and clutches. The beautiful floral shaped diamond earrings were once purchased on an Bruun Rasmussen Auction. They still look absolutely magnificent despite we have seen them on several previous occasions. This is one very good-looking Crown Princess, right?!

Healthcare Denmark's Ambassador Summit 2019

27th September

It was a proud and honored patron of Healthcare DENMARK, who arrived to the Ambassador Summit 2019. The Crown Princess was in a splendid mood when she arrived. She was warmly welcomed by representatives from the organization. The summit took place at the Kennedy Centre in Glostrup.

Healthcare DENMARK is a non-profit-organization. They develops visit programs to foreign decision-makers and press delegations. The programs aim to show the Danish healthcare system and how its innovative solutions works.

As patron the Crown Princess entered the stage and gave a speech on the occasion of the summit. Her speech has only generated positive comments and it is fully understandable. She is strong with words She was also given a guided four around one of their laboratories. To me it seems like she was in her right element - listening, learning and sharing.

Det Danske Kongehus ● Billed Bladet ● Daily Mail ● Frederik et Mary

Attending the Ambassador Summit with Healthcare DENMARK, Mary was beautifully dress in one of her amazing creamy white suits. Both blazer and matching trousers are from Andiata. She has worn this suits on several occasions - both as a suit, but also the blazer on its own with dresses. The white pleated blouse is also a reuse. So far I have not been able to identify who the designer is. Do you know anything about her blouse? Other than it looks absolutely great on her. What caught my attention most about her wearing the suit, is that fact that she radiated like a white star next to all the other black suited participants of the summit. Love it.

Mary embraced the chic style with stunning pearl pendant earrings. They are from Dulong Fine Jewelry and have replaceable pendants. Mary has already worn these earrings with a lot of different pendants in a lot of lovely colors. From the same designer she also wore a multicolor golden bracelet. I also see a diamond ring, but I am not quite sure which one it is.

The simple light colored clutch in crocodile is from 1602. They proudly shared the information of her wearing their clutch on both Facebook and Instagram, here. I love the fact that she manages to find a clutch that match her outfit with such perfection. She had chosen to wear reused python pointed pumps from Gianvito Rossi. What an outfit.

LOKK conference: "Nordic Women Against Violence 2019"

20 September

Crown Princess Mary had an important meeting with Mogens Jensen, Danish Minister for Food, Fisheries, Gender Equality & Nordic Cooperation. The two of them have met and traveled together on several previous occasions. At the meeting the Crown Princess and Minister discussed different topics dealing with gender equality, here.

In the afternoon Crown Princess Mary arrived to Hotel Scandic in Copenhagen to attend the opening of the conference 'Nordic Women Against Violence 2019'. Crown Princess Mary is patron of the organisation hosting the conference LOKK - Landsorganisationen af Kvindekrisecentre (the Country Organization of Women Crisis Center).

As both patron and guest of honor, she gave a speech at the opening. In her speech, among others, she mentioned that gender equality in genereal is more common than most other places in the world. Still the extent of both physic and mental violence against ones partner is a bigger issue than we may think. She made it clear that we have to be more focuses on mental violence due to the intensification of criminal cases involving this kind of violence. Applaus for her well-chosen words and the fact that she is committed to make a difference on such an important, but hard topic to talk about. The embedded post from the Mary Foundation's Facebook page shows the Crown Princess speaking in front of her audience.

Meeting with Mogens Jensen and later on at the opening of 'Nordic Women Against Violence 2019' together with LOKK Mary was beautifully dressed in a classy suit. The chic, rather long, blazer is a reuse from ZARA. She has worn it on a number of different occasions. Mary first wore this incredible  piece in 2017 when attending the world premiere of Jaha's Promise, here. Do you remember her first time wearing the blazer? I do. Very clearly actually. At the opening Mary matched her blazer with black fitted trousers and one of her beloved Hugo Boss blouses.

She embraced the style by wearing really, really old earrings from Dulong Fine Jewelry. These Rose Quartz pendant drop earrings goes way back in time. I can't tell exactly when we first saw them, but it was sometime around 2009. Beautiful design, right? The diamond ring is also from Dulong Fine Jewelry. Am I the only one noticing that she has not been wearing her wedding- and engagement bands lately? Instead she has worn this (magnificent) diamond ring.

More than once Mary has shown us how to style the perfect outfit. And the perfect outfit takes the right pair of shoes. At the opening of LOKK's conference Mary had chosen reused pumps from Jimmy Choo featuring a chunky heel. Looks good. Another good old accessory is her black braided Bottega Veneta handbag. Really, this is an easy go-to outfit to try yourself.

Day 3. Business visit from Sweden

18 September

By now the Swedish Crown Princess Victoria and her husband, Prince Daniel are back home in Sweden. But before leaving they spend a little more time with the Danish Crown Prince Couple.

First thing in the morning the two couple's attended Swedish-Danish Business Forum at Danish Industry in Copenhagen. All four of them seemed to be in a wonderful mood. Also when they later visited House of Green the four enjoyed each others company. Before splitting up two and two, the two royal couples payed a visit to Tech BBQ 2019 - the biggest innovation and tech summit in Scandinavia, here.

In the afternoon Crown Prince Frederik joined Crown Princess Victoria. Together the two of them visited Amager Bakke which is a waste energy plant. Meanwhile, Crown Princess Mary enjoyed some time with Prince Daniel visiting Rigshospitalet. They were shown the hospitals new build facilities and building site of what is not finished yet.

Spending time with her husband and the Swedish royal couple Mary has already showed some incredible outfit. So did she on Wednesday. Mary had chosen to embraced the style by wearing a reused and altered skirt designed by Charlotte Eskildsen - designer for Designers Remix. Originally it is a dress made of sustainable materials, here. This time she wore the skirt with an old (really old) black zipper jacket from Max Mara. It goes all the way back to 2004, here. Do you remember the jacket? Loves how she matched the outfit with that Céline belt.

Though her outfit was quite simple, she wore some outstanding accessoires and a lot actually. First thing I noticed was the bright blue Gianvito Rossi pumps. Seems like Mary loved wearing colorful pumps at the moment. Like when she wore her new orange Prada pumps attending a reception with the RC69 - WHO Regional Committee for Europe, here. I absolutely love her wearing colors. Usually she does not change her shoes. But when visiting Rigshospitalet with Prince Daniel she had changed from Gianvito Rossi to nude Christian Louboutin's.

Also her jewellery featured amazing colors. The earrings and matching ring are both from Pomellato, while the twisted golden necklace is a reuse from Orit Elhanati. Despite covering most of it, Mary did also wear several bracelets from both Cartier and Dulong Fine Jewelry. Love when she wears all kinda different bracelets. Gives a more casual look. The diamond ring is also a Dulong Fine Jewelry creation. The beautiful quality black leather clutch is from Quidam.

Day 1 and 2: Business visit from Sweden

17 September

Yesterday, Crown Princess Victoria and her husband Prince Daniel arrived to Copenhagen on occasion of a business visit. This is why the couple is traveling along with a business delegation from Sweden. The couple arrived to Denmark on Monday. They were official welcomed by the Swedish ambassador in Denmark, H.E. Fredrik Jörgensen. Later in the evening Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel were more privately welcomed by the Danish Crown Prince Couple in their home at Amalienborg Castle. The Royal House shared a few pictures from their private meeting, here

The Swedish couple is staying in Denmark for three day from Septemer 16-18th. The visit focuses on strengthening and the development of a stronger relationship between Denmark and Sweden when it comes to healthcare and finding more sustainable solutions. At the same time this visit is also about UN's 17 world goals. According to the Royal House both couple's are committed to make the 17 worldgoals work in reality.

Visiting the UN City & DI's Summit

This morning the two royal couple's were gathered in the UN City in Copenhagen. Grete Faremo, Executive Director of UNOPS (UN project management office) had the privileged honor to welcome both Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary when they arrived. The visit was all about trying to the innovative partnerships behind the UN World Goals on sustainable development. Among other, were they four of them introduced to presentation on 'Innovation Partnerships with the UN to accelerate the SDG's'. It was great seeing all of them together again.

After visiting the UN City, all four of them attended the Danish Industry Summit 2019 in DR Concert Hall in Copenhagen. They smiled and had fun all day. Especially when arriving to the Concert Hall. The summit was all about green solutions. How both companies, politicians and citizens can work together on a sustainable future growth, which Crown Princess Victoria also spoke about in her speech. Crown Prince Frederik also took part in the event. He presenteded the DI Prize 2019.

Well, well, well. Now we are talking. Mary you looked amazing and sexy in that brand new jumpsuit of yours. Heaven already managed to identify that this new piece is coming from a Max Mara collection. Every one of you who have already commented on her outfit (without me having made no post yet) is thrilled as I am. These kinda loose jumpsuit are highly fashionable right now. Mary rocked every pieces of it.

She accessorized the new jumpsuit with simple black pointed leather pumps from Gianvito Rossi. Nothing new about them, nor the black Carlend Copenhagen clutch. Accessories that never go out of style in my opinion. I really like how she worked this simple and modern looking outfit. Very minimalistic.

The diamond earrings are a design by Sophie Bille Brahe and the delicate diamond ring is from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. At the moment I am not sure if she wore other jewellery, other than her golden necklace featuring green beads from Nadia Shelbaya. Mary completed her look with a chic ponytail and eye-catching makeup.

HMS Nyköping and a "Swedish" dinner

Before having dinner the Danish Crown Prince Couple were invited to see the Swedish battleship, HSM Nyköping. On a daily basis the ship belongs in the harbor of Karlskrona. On Tuesday it had found its way to the Amalie Garden - the small garden separating Amalienborg to Copenhagen Harbor.

The weather was nothing good. It was rainy and windy. But it just made everyone smile and laugh. Everything is wya more comfortable on a warm and sunny summer evening, but the rain gave memorable pictures. Especially Crown Princess Mary was one big smile.

About an hour or so later Crown Prince Frederik, Crown Princess Mary, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel were invited to dinner with Fredrik Jörgensen (the Swedish ambassador in Denmark) and his wife as hosts. Both hosts and all four royals welcomed the rest of the guest from both Denmark and Sweden at the arrival.

First, I have to say that I adore Crown Princess Victoria's outfit. The color combo and fabrics are adorable. She looks so beautiful. So did Mary. I am thrilled to see her in that Ralph Lauren dress again. This dress was originally a floor-length gown. Then she changed it to what we see today. A shorter version. I would really like to see the dress without coat and blazer, but I truly understand why she both wore her wool coat from JOSEPH and her crispy white Max Mara blazer. She has worn the outfit before on May 16th 2019 when attending dinner on occasion of Copenhagen Fashion Summit, here. A very glamorous look.

Trying to keep everything in control despite rain and wind, my eyes were on her magnificent accessories. Took my quite a while to realize that Mary was wearing her old diamond earrings from Cenius & Bach. They come with three different size and colored stones pendants. Last night she showed off powder pink Rose Quartz pendants. A perfect match to the necklace and reused Bottega Veneta clutch.

The stunning updo completed her outfit with such perfection. I absolutely love that she's wearing these different feminine updo's again. She did years ago, but then suddenly we rarely saw them. It inspires my to try some myself. Mary topped off her evening and dinner outfit with chic Prada pumps.

RC69: WHO Regional Committee for Europe

16 September

Today is the day, where Crown Prince Victoria and her husband, Prince Daniel are coming to Denmark on official business promotion visit with the Danish Crown Prince Couple as hostes. The program tells us that the Swedish Crown Prince Couple arrives this evening and are welcomed by the Swedish ambassador, Fredrik Jörgensen. According to local time, that is within about an hour or so.

Today is also the day where Crown Princess Mary participated the important WHO Regional Committee For Europe (also known as RC69) summit. The summit gathered representatives from all over Europe within the healthcare sector in the UN City in Copenhagen. The Crown Princess  participated the summit as patron for the World Health Organization, Regional Office for Europe and as guest of honor.

She was in a really splendid mood at arrival with a wide smile on her lips and a glimpse in her eyes. The sweetest little boy handed over to her a bouquet of beautiful flower as part of the tradition when being welcomed as part of the royal family. From the rostrum she gave a one of her remarkable speeches focusing on the important work of the worldwide healthcare sector.

In the evening Crown Princess Mary also attended a reception with the Danish Ministry of Health and Elderly on occasion of The WHO Regional Committee for Europe. The reception took place at Skuespilhuset in Copenhagen. When arriving to Skuespilhuset the Crown Princess was warmly welcomed by Minister of Health and Elderly, Magnus Heunicke. Seems like she were having a good time right from when she arrived. Unfortunately not much has been published from the reception, but I mam sure you figure out the difference between the two events.

Det Danske KongehusBilled Bladet Billed BladetFrederik et Mary ● UFO No More

Red is a strong and powerful color to wear on a day like this. A symbolic color that catch eyes every time she wears something red. I was sure she was wearing her red Dolce & Gabbana dress, here, but it turns out that the neckline is different. This makes Mary's dress unidentified. Kate made me aware of the difference. So for now I do not know where her wonderful red dress is from. But she matched is perfectly with a tweed jacket from YDE Copenhagen. Hope to see this piece with something else than this dress. How would you style it? I'd wear it with a pair of black jeans and a white button-down shirt.

Mary accessorized her chic outfit with diamond earrings from Sophie Bille Brahe, golden bracelets from Dulong Fine Jewelry and of course her love bracelet from Cartier. Expensive, but stylish pieces of jewellery that goes trendy every year. I also see an Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen diamond band.

Somehow I can not keep my eyes off those beige python pumps. It was love at first sight. In a way I think they even look comfortable. I have never worn a pair of Gianvito Rossi pumps, but they look more comfortable than most other pumps does. Her Rossi python pumps and that incredible leather bag from Prada are perfect combined with the red belted dress and tweed jacket. When would you wear an outfit like this?

Everything she wore at the reception in Skuespilhuset is everything I have hoped for. I am astonished by the combination black, a little flowers and those bright orange pumps. Do you remember the floral printed Heartmade / Julie Fagerholt dress from when we first saw it last year, here? A beautiful dress a year ago and it still is. I am crazy in love with when she wore it at the reception. Mary looks comfortable and relaxed.

I already mentioned her shoes. Bright oranges wonders from Prada. A visible golden Prada logo reveals where they are to be found. So far I have not been able to find them in the right color, but I have the right model to show you - thanks to Kate. Tell me, what do you think of her new pumps? Orange is one of the most trendy colors to wear right know and Mary really rock wearing them. I imagine dresses, trousers and skirts from her clothes that would do great with these new pumps. She embraced the style with Annikat earrings, bracelets from Dulong Fine Jewelry and an Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen diamond ring. Unfortunately her black clutch is still a mystery to me.

The Women's Home and an officers dinner

11 September

Crown Princess Mary payed a special visit to The Women's Home (Kvindehjemmet) at Jagtvej along with the Mary Foundation on Wednesday. The Women's Home is Denmark's largest women's shelter. During her visit she met with both former and present residents of the home with whom she talked about backpacks. More specifically backpacks given to all children who live with their mother and possible siblings at the shelter. These backpacks are part of a Mary Foundation project and are given to children in both Denmark, Greenland and the Faroe Islands.

A quote from the Mary Foundations Facebook post (embedded down below) says that the backpacks helps children to know that they are seen, heard and taken serious. The Crown Princess also talked with employees working at the shelter. Among others, they told her that they use the backpacks and its contents to help children describe and puts words on feelings related to violent experiences. The Royal House has now published a short interview with the Crown Princess and one of the employee, here.

According to the official calendar Crown Princess was suppose to attend a dinner at Fredensborg Castle the previous evening hosted Queen Margrethe. The dinner was held for officers at Dannebrog as a way of thanking them for another year of sailing. But not pictures have been published.

Visiting The Women's Home at Jagtevej Mary was dressed in a lovely reused outfit. She matched her light blue blouse from Victoria Beckham with a black pleated skirt. The skirt is also a reuse, but I have never managed to identify where it is from. This time I noticed that it features small dots. Maybe that will help us identifying it. Keep your eyes open and let me know if you see or hear anything about her skirt.

To match the chic outfit she chose to wear her black leather pumps from Valentino featuring rivets. A classy pump with a touch of rock and roll. The blue earrings and matching ring are both from Pomellato. They go way back in time, just as the diamond ring from Dulong Fine Jewelry. The same designer made one of her golden bangles. She also wore her Cartier bracelet in shiny gold and her Nadia Shelbaya necklace.

I also noticed how beautiful her hair looks. I love when she wears curly hair. Makes her look young and fresh (if that's the right word to use). Love how Mary made this outfit look so casual. Whenever I am wearing pleated skirts and soft blouses, I tend to look a bit overdressed. But not Mary.

INDEX: Award 2019 Ceremony

06 September

Earlier during the day Crown Princess Mary attended Golden Days Festival 2019 at University of Copenhagen, here. At the festival she met with among others former President of Poland, Lech Walesa.

In the evening she was guest of honor at the INDEX: Award 2019 Ceremony taking place at The Plant in Copenhagen. Hundreds of guests from all over the world were invited to award show along with Crown Princess Mary. She was in a splendid mood, just like earlier in the day. The Crown Princess has attended the award show several times before. Usual she hand over the awards. So did she this year.

INDEX: Award is a very special design award given to five winner every second year. The winners are divided in categories - Body, Home, Work, Play & Learning and Community. The INDEX: Award   celebrate and reward sustainable and life-changing designs. Imagine creating a design that gives you an award for being both life-changing and good for the planet. During the show several new and innovative inventions were presented.

Mary you took my breath away! I have completely fallen in love with her outfit at the INDEX: Award show. Love that she wore this incredible and eye-catching Etro dress again. Maybe you remember when we first saw it? You are right. She wore it when her beloved husband celebrated his 50th birthday last year, here. Back then she looked gorgeous. Now I love her and the dress even more. The color, silhouette, print, everything makes me happy. I love wearing colors myself. Do you?

She embraced the style by wearing a pair of black mesh pumps from Gianvito Rossi. The same as earlier that same day. But really. You do not get tired of good design, right? I now it sounds a bit stupid, but I am very fascinated by looking and studying the shape of heeled shoes. So many different shapes, heights, colors, embellishments, etc. Think I got a glimpse of her black glitter box clutch from Sergio Rossi. Also incredible good design that works no matter what.

I am sure you also noticed her beautiful earrings and the matching green ring. At first I thought the earrings features a blue stone, but I was wrong. It is green. The ring is a reuse but the earrings are brand new - at least for Mary to wear them. It turns out that her new earrings are purchase at an Bruun Rasmussen Auction. I learned about the purchase from Kate. I did not believe I was suppose to be even more thrilled, but I was. Look at her hairstyle. If you have followed me for some time, you'd know that I absolutely adore these updos.

Golden Days Festival 2019

06 September

Crown Princess Mary arrived to University of Copenhagen as guest of honor to attend Golden Days Festival 2019. She was warmly welcomed by the world famous fighter of freedom, the Polish Lech Walesa. All of them were in a splendid mood. Especially the Crown Princess was one big smile and she seemed so comfortable.

Golden Days Festival is all about sharing knowledge, history and culture and honoring all three of them. With this years theme "1989" the Crown Princess attended an important event at University of Copenhagen on occasion of the 30th anniversary of, among others, the fall of the Berlin Wall, the reunification of Europe and the beginning of the internet. Three major events that have had great impact on the world as we know it today.

Lech Walesa is former Polish President and recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize. He gave a speech as part of the opening of Golden Days Festival with the Crown Princess and a room packed with guests in front of him. The Lech Walesa Freedom Award was also presented and handed over to Tove Smidth, Mayor of Gladsaxe. Congratulations to Tove Smidth!

Mary looked outstanding when attending the Golden Days Festival 2019 at University of Copenhagen. I had not idea what to expect to see, but it wasn't this. She dazzled in a brand new dotted silk shirt dress. Heaven identified her new dress as a Carolina Herrera creations. She also recognized that the black leather belt is from Max Mara. Mary has two the belt in two other colors as well - navy blue, here and creamy white, here. Seems like she just had to have one of each color. We get it, right? Talking about belts. Mary did something really clever. The dress. comes with a matching belt. She used it as collar and tucked it in the belt. Love this lille detail.

How to accessorize a dress like this? White pearls, more leather and heels. Those stunning diamond earrings featuring white pearl pendants give a traditional and classy touch. White pearls never get too old. They keep looking good year after year. Do you have pearl jewellery in your wardrobe? I do and I love wearing them. I also see her golden Cartier bangle.

As a perfect match she mathed the Max Mara belt with one of her good old clutches from Quidam. An expensive quality leather clutch that never goes out of style. Amazing piece of accessory just like the beautiful Gianvito Rossi pumps. Wish I will be able to purchase my own pair of Rossi pumps one day - just one pair a least. They look super stylish and kinda comfortable to wear at the same time.

Last thing to notice is her hairstyle. That updo makes my heart beat. Love that she (finally) is falling in love with updos again. I missed them so much.

Flag Day 2019

05 September

September 5th is a very special day for a lot of people. It is the official Flag Day for Danish soldiers abroad fighting for a better world. Both people that are in war areas and those who have been on a mission, are honor by this annual event. Since 2009 the event has taken place with a wreath laying at Kastellet, a church service in Holmens Church and with a ceremonial parade at the castle square at Christiansborg.

Both Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary attended all three ceremonial honors of the Danish soldiers. Each year is emotional. So was this year. Especially Crown Princess Mary showed a few tears of compassion. I imagine the atmosphere is not really to describable. I have never experienced it myself, but I am sure it is a something you have to experience to tell.

Personally I am impressed and honor that a rather small country as Denmark is able to make an annual event like this. It is with great pride I represent Denmark as Dane. Thanks to those who arranged Flag Day - it makes all of us proud. That is also why I think the Crown Prince Couple gladly attend every year.

Attending the event in Copenhagen, Crown Prince Frederik was dressed in his black uniform with matching gloves, orderer, a hat and polished shoes. Next to him, he had his lovely wife. She was looking gorgeous in a brand new dusty white double-breasted jacket. Several designers crossed my ming, but Heaven managed to find her new jacket at non the less than Alexander McQueen. I absolutely love everything about this new piece. The buttons, sleeves, peplum illusion, collar, etc. She matched it with a reused floral printed midi skirt from Andiata. A wonderful piece to show that summer is not over yet.

As accessories, Mary had chosen a wide-brimmed hat from milliner Susanne Juul. Actually she had the same model in both purple and beige as well. This black one is perfect for the occasion. She embraced the style by also wearing nude leather gloves, a Naledi Copenhagen clutch in the same color and power pink pointed pumps from Gianvito Rossi. All reused pieces worn on numerous occasions.

I spotted both a diamond ring from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen and old diamond earrings, which I strongly believe is from Hartmann's. It is their style but nothing is proven yet. We also get a glimpse of a golden bracelet first worn recently. Duong Fine Jewelry is the creator.

CBS Responsibility Day 2019

02 September

It was a big day for many new students at Copenhagen Business School (also known as CBS), when Crown Princess Mary arrived to CBS Responsibility Day 2019. It took place in K.B. Hallen at Frederiksberg in Copenhagen. She was welcomed with smiles and handshakes by, among others, Rector of CBS Nikolai, Malchow-Møller.

CBS Responsibility Day is an annual event that marks the first day for new bachelor students at Copenhagen Business School, but it also works as a day dedicated to fully focus on business responsibility. This and much more were included in Crown Princess Mary's opening speech. She encouraged the students to take changes, but in a responsible way. In addition to that the Crown Princess spoke about UN's 17 world goals on sustainable development. Take the time and read her speech here.

KongehusetDet Danske Kongehus ● Frederik et Mary ● Billed Bladet ● Copenhagen Business School

Seems like Mary is ready to welcome fall with lots of colors and lovely prints. At her appearance at CBS Responsibility Day 2019 in K.B. Hallen she wore a wonderful midi skirt from Valentino. She has worn the skirt before - twice actually. We first saw the beautiful Valentino skirt when Mary attended the premiere of 'The Magic Mask' in Tivoli October 6th 2018, here. Then again in April of 2019 when visiting Vibenshus School with the Mary Foundation, here. Love the skirt. It makes me happy. Do you like it? I think it is clever of her to wear the skirt, with all its colors and prints, with a simple white blouse.

She styled her outfit with the most amazing accessories. First thing noticed is the burgundy belt. We talked about it before. I still do not know where it is from, so let me know if you have any ideas.

In the same rage of colors Mary chose to wear her reused Carlend Copenhagen clutch in pink. I have this myself and it is absolutely wonderful. Works with most outfits both day and night. I often wear mine. The pumps are brand new. From Heaven and Kate I learned that Jimmy Choo is the designers. Can not wait to see then worn with other outfits in the future.

Mary was also wearing quite a few magnificent pieces of jewellery. Among others diamond and gold earrings from Sophie Bille Brahe and a ring from Dulong Fine Jewelry. What is interesting, is her new golden necklace from Dulong Fine Jewelry. It looked great next to her reused beads necklace from Nadia Shelbaya.

The Carlsberg Foundations Research Awards 2019

01 September

As guest of honor, Crown Princess Mary attended the Carlsberg Foundations Research Awards 2019 and following dinner. The honoring took place at the legendary Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek - an art  museum build by Carlsbergs founder, Carl Jacobsen. He was a passioned collector of both antique and modern art. A magnificent place, here.

The Crown Princess was welcomed welcomed by, among others, Ane Halboe-Jørgensen. She is the new Minister of Education and Science. Later in the evening both women entered the stage and presented the two Carlsberg awards.

For quite a few year the Crown Princess has been a regular person on the guest list. I believe she first attended the event in 2013, here. Since then she has been invited to hand over two research awards to scientists who have contributed with decisively scientific research results. According to the Royal House the awards are given to both natural sciences- and a humanist/social science researcher. This year Crown Princess Mary handed over the awards to Thomas Kiørboe, Professor ogf Microscipic Life at Sea and Mikael Rask Madsen, Professor of European Law and integration. Congratulations to both of them!

Along with the honor both winners are given 250,000 Danish kroner as a personal rewards and furthermore 750,000 Danish kroner to their research.

What a night it was, when Mary attended the presentation of the Carlsberg Foundations Research Awards at Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek. The scene was set when she arrived in the most gorgeous outfit. We have seen this outfit before, but not at an official event. In July of 2018 the royal couple attended a friends wedding and here Mary showed up wearing almost exactly the same outfit at on Sunday September 1st. She matched a blouse and a maxi skirt to make it look like a dress. The two-piece are from Diane von Furstenberg. Think it is clever of her to wear it as a dress. Looks just lovely. What do you think of her "dress"?

She embraced the evening look with a Dolce & Gabanna belt featuring large red rhinestones. Somehow this combo works perfectly. If you think about it the colors are quite odd, but Mary rocked that combination of rusty orange and shiny red.

I am sure you noticed her huge and eye-catching earrings. So did I. She first wore them when visiting the European Council in Strasbourg in 2017, here. Later again at the friends wedding. They are a unique pair of Kharisma earrings made by Dulong Fine Jewelry. Can't imagine who expensive they are with all the gold, diamonds and precious stones. Incredible design. One of her bracelets is also from that jewellery designer. The other golden bangle is from Cartier.

Another golden accessory is her heeled sandals. Did you see them? Gosh they are stunning. These were also worn at the friends wedding last year. Now Elena managed to identify the sandals as Aquazzura, here. Note that the model is name Josephine as her youngest daughter. Coincidence? But and amazing finding. Suddenly I wish I had a pair of golden sandals in my wardrobe. To top off her look Mary wore a reused (yellow) clutch from Yves Saint Laurent. To me Mary looked like a true goddess - with hair and makeup and all. Outstanding.

Princess Ingrid Alexandra's confirmation

31 August

Yesterday was a big day for the daughter of Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit, Princess Ingrid Alexandra of Norway. She celebrated her confirmation in the castle chapel at the Royal Palace in Oslo.

Friends and family from near and far were invited to celebrate the day with her. Also the Danish Crown Prince couple and their oldest son Prince Christian were invited to the ceremony and following lunch. Crown Prince Frederik is the godfather of Princess Ingrid Alexandra. As her godfather, he participated in a very special part of the confirmation - he lit a candle for her with her other godparents (Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden, Princess Märtha Louise of Norway, King Felipe of Spain, Kong Harald of Norway and Marit Tjessem).

A confirmation is a significant day in most young peoples life. It is the day where to confirm the promises that were made at the christening. It takes place as a special church service each year around the age of 13-15. The ceremony is not quite the same in each country. In Denmark for instance we do not lit a candle confirmed children, but it is a beautiful tradition. Let us congratulate the Princess on behalf of her confirmation!

Meanwhile both Princess Ingrid Alexandra and the rest of her family where dressed in traditional norwegian dresses and suits, the Danish royals were dressed in their best outfits. Crown Prince Frederik looked perfect in a black uniform and his son was indeed handsome wearing a black and white suit.

Mary had chosen a lovely floral printed dress from Zimmermann. She has worn it once before while staying in South Korea on an official visit in May this year, here. I loved it right away and I still do. Mary looks so beautiful wearing that floral dream. Attending the confirmation of Princess Ingrid Alexandra she embraced the style with a brand new headpiece. The correct name of the style I do not know. So please enlightened me. What I know is that it is all new; features a flower and it is made of something that looks like purple straw. Let me know if you know where to find this new pieces.

The colorpalet was differently power pink and purple, mixed with a little suede and satin. She wore her old Cenius & Bach earrings with purple pendants. As other jewellery I see a diamond ring from Dulong Fine Jewelry, who also designed one of her bracelets. The other golden bangle is from Cartier. Many of you noticed the purple satin clutch. Despite most of you think it is new - it's not. It goes back to around 2008 when visiting Bulgaria on an official visit, here. She last wore the clutch at an event in 2014, here.

I haven't had a good look at her shoes, but to me it looks like she was wearing a pair of Gianvito Rossi suede pumps. They tricked me many times because the color is difficult - white, but not completely white. Believe these are the same pumps, here.
