Day 4. Visiting Vanuatu, Fiji and Australia

26 April 2023

Only one day left for her to be visiting her old hometown Sydney and only one day left to go home to her family in Denmark.

Crown Princess Mary and Minster for Development corporation's and Global Climate politics Dan Jørgensen, went for a little trip on the water. They boarded the traditional ship Uto Ni Yalo along with representatives from The Pacific Commonity.

After meeting with Fiji's President Sitiveni L. Rabuka, the Crown Princess and Executive Director for UNFPA Natalia Kanem visited "Fiji Disabled Peoples Federation". They were given an inside in their work with vulnerable people with a handicap. She also handed over "dignity kits" developed to people with handicaps in humanitarian crisis.

Later on, she attended an event with BOGA - the Beyond Oil and Gas Alliance. She ended her day at the University of the South Pacific.

I am more than pleased with her beautiful outfit worn on her second day in Fiji. Look at that stunning Stella Jean dress. Mary has worn the dress before. First in 2017, when Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik celebrated their golden wedding anniversary (here). Since then, the designer hunted me. Not that long ago, I accidentally cam across the Stella Jean dress. A perfect match. Lovely accessorized with the brown leather belt.

Mary embraced her look with reused pieces of jewellery. Both the Halberstadt and Julie Sandlau necklaces have been worn since she arrived in Vanuatu. Such as the bracelets from Dulong Fine Jewelry, Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen and Rebekka Notkin.

She added just a few new pieces. Like the delicate and elegant Marlene Juhl-Jørgensen earrings. Did you know that they go back 2009 (here)? The colourful Dulong Fine Jewelry ring was also a magnificent choice!

She changed shoes from beige ballet flats from Chloe heeled to brown leather sandals from Gianvito Rossi during the day.

Sunglasses are beloved ones from Thierry Lasry and twisted hair tie is from Kknekki.

Day 3. Visiting Vanuatu, Fiji and Australia

25 April, 2023

The Crown Princess and Dan Jørgensen (Minister for Development Cooperation and Global Climate Policy) arrived a day earlier in Suva - Fiji's capital.

In the morning, they were official welcomed with a traditional Fijian welcoming ceremony. Natalia Kanem accompanied the two of them. She is the executive director of the United Nations Population Fund UNFPA. The Crown Princess is patron for UNFPA and has been committed to their work for quite some years now.

Later on, she, Dan Jørgensen and Natalia Kanem met with Fiji's President Ratu Wiliame Maivalili Katonivere. He welcomed all of them with great pleasure.

What a dress! UFO No More (here) identified Mary's brand new sunflower printed dress as La DoubleJ. A before seen designer in her wardrobe. I am a huge fan of this dress. That yellow colour looks amazing on her. Maybe the perfect summer-dress-inspiration?

She embraced the outfit with beautiful golden earrings and a custom-made ring from Dulong Fine Jewelry. They created many of her most beloved pieces of jewellery. She reused the two Halberstadt and Julie Sandlau necklaces, such as the dazzling Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen diamond bangle.

The beige python pumps from Gianvito Rossi made a super cool statement with the rest of her ceremonial outfit.

VISITING NABAVATU

After the traditional welcoming ceremony and meeting the President, Crown Princess May visited the tent village at Nabavatu located on Fiji's second largest island Vanua Levu.

The village holds room for those who lost their homes due to a cyclone that hit Fiji in 2020.

Visiting Nabavatu was also the perfect opportunity to focus on the consequences of climate change and UNFPA's work to ensure sexual and reproductive health and rights for girls and women in humanitarian crises.

Mary changed to something a bit more comfortable, when going to Nabavatu. She styled a simple soft blue button-down shirt with a reused Apiece Apart midi skirt. A beautiful outfit for the occasion. A really wonderful change.

Even though her clothes were simple, her choices of accessories weren't. Mary embraced the look with jewelries from both Dulong Fine Jewelry, Halberstadt, Julie Sandlau and Ole Lynggaard. I am very fund of her wearing the sames pieces more than once on this trip. Shows how little you have to pack for many days.

Mary is known for wearing sneakers for all sorts of events. She made a win again with those soft pink NIKE trainers.

RECEPTION AND DINNER

In the evening, the Crown Princess was ones again accompanied by the Danish Minister for Development Cooperation and Global Climate Policy and  Executive Director of the United Nations Population Fund UNFPA for a reception and following dinner.

The gathering were hosted by Fiji's President and Prime Minister of Suva.

Somehow, I have completely fallen in love with what Mary wore at the reception and dinner. Usually, I do not like these pale colour. Neither for myself or on Mary. But this outfit got me. I surrender. Her new dress is from Hennes & Mauritz's Conscious Exclusive collection. She altered it a bit. Gave it a waistband. I really like this little change. The silver cardigan looks new as well.

Her Halberstadt and Julie Sandlau necklaces were accompanied by another stunning brown necklace. She has worn it before, but I have never been able to identify it. We also get a glimpse of a number of bracelets from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen, Rebekka Notkin and Dulong Fine Jewelry.

Her raffia clutch has also been seen before, such as the brown leather heeled sandals from Gianvito Rossi.

Day 2. Visiting Vanuatu, Fiji and Australia

24 April, 2023

Crown Princess Mary and Minister for Development Cooperation and Global Climate Policy Dan Jørgensen had a busy day ahead of them right from the morning, when they were officially welcomed by Vanuatu's Government. The ceremony took place in Port Vila.

Related to the official welcoming, the Crown Princess then met with Vanuatu's President, Nikenike Vurobaravu. Then followed a visit to Etas. With help from UN, the organization ADRA has created a number of initiatives for women in Etas and other vulnerable areas in Vanuatu.

After lunchtime, the attended an event about the climate at University of the South Pacific. On that occasion, she gave a speech (here) and engaged conversations with the students at the university.

I love when Mary wear colourful and printed dressed. I was thrilled, when realizing she was wearing this incredible reused Zimmermann dress. It looks soooo good on her. The colours are spot on. Beautiful next to her fair skin and brown hair.

She styled the outfit with delicate white South Sea freshwater pearl earrings from Dulong Fine Jewelry. That coloured bracelet is also a creation by Dulong Fine Jewelry. Custom-made. Mary has quite a few of these bracelets. I get why she loves them so much.

Her other golden bracelets are designs from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen and Rebekka Notkin. About now, you all know that her necklaces are from Halberstadt and Julie Sandlau. Love it, when she wears more than one necklace. Her golden ring is also Rebekka Notkin.

I do not see a bag, but I imagine it to be brown if she wore one. Then it would match both hair and the leather sandals from Gianvito Rossi.

GOING TO FIJI

In the evening, the Crown Princess was ready to take off to Fiji - another destination on this official visit in the Pacific.

Green linen trousers! What a win. Those I love and they look so good with that simple creamy white linen blazer. To me both trousers and blazer are new. I have not been able to identify either of them yet. Any ideas? She matched it with a simple white t-shirt.

When Mary wear these casual outfits, I really fancy that she accessorizes it with fine pieces of jewellery. Like the Halberstadt and Julie Sandlau necklaces, and the Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen diamond bracelet. Rebekka Notkin is the creator of that solid golden bangle and the stunning ring.

The Chanel sling-back flats made a great accessory with the rest of the look. So did the wonderful Ralph Lauren leather bag.

Day 1. Visiting Vanuatu, Fiji and Australia

23 April, 2023

Not that long ago, the royal court announced that the Crown Princess was going go visit Vanuatu, Fiji and Australia from April 23rd to 28th. The visit is centered around consequences from climate changed in the pacific region.

She is accompanied by the Minister for Development Cooperation and Global Climate Policy Dan Jørgensen.

On her first day, she visited Vanuatu who was just struck by two cyclones and two earthquakes. She and Dan Jørgensen attended a meeting with Vanuatu's minister of climate changes.

Later on, they paid a visit to locals at Pele Island. They suffered a great deal when the cyclones and earthquakes recently hit Vanuatu.

Minister for Development Cooperation and Global Climate Policy Dan Jørgensen also accompanied the Crown Princess, when she was briefed about the political situation on Vanuatu, Fiji and in the region of UN's delegation in the Pacific.

Mary looked beautiful during her day in Vanuatu. I still have not been identify either blouse or that brand new printed maxi skirt. Had a few ideas where to find it, but I was not lucky. Do you happen to recognize this amazing skirt?

She embraced the outfit with plenty of stunning accessories. I learned from UFO No More that her new blue beads earrings are from MaRe. I am not sure, I am the biggest fan but I love the fact that they matched the skirts hemline.

Mary also wore beloved necklaces from Halberstadt and Julie Sandlau. A close look revealed bracelets from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen and Dulong Fine Jewelry. What looks like a bracelet, is a Kknekki hair tie.

Her golden ring is a custom-made piece by Dulong Fine Jewelry and that other diamond ring is an Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen design.

A few photos showed her carrying a reused Chloe cross-body bag in brown leather. She topped it off with old snakeskin sandals from Prada.

Business promotion visit in Milan

17 April, 2023

When Crown Princess Mary visited Milan on April 17th, it was as head of a business delegation of 17 Danish companies, Danish Industry, Creative Denmark and the Danish embassy. She was accompanied by Morten Bødskov the Danish Minister of Business.

The business promotion visit was with focus on Danish design solutions created by a proud tradition of craftsmanship. It was also the purpose of the exhibition "This is Denmark". Crown Princess Mary attended the opening of this exhibition to create awareness of Danish design and sustainability.

Later, she participated the roundtable meeting "New European Bauhaus Project - DESIRE, Designing the Irresistible Circular Society".

Before dinner time, Mary wore a really beautiful Designers Remix skirt and matching blouse from Jesper Høvring. Actually, the skirt was once a dress (here) but some years later, she had it altered from dress to skirt (here). It is made of 100% recycled polyester from plastic bottles. A clear statement pretty much forgotten in the discussion of a sustainable solution used by Danish companies.

Mary embraced her outfit with stunning white South sea freshwater pearls custom-made Dulong Fine Jewelry. This has to be her all-time favourite earrings. The two golden necklaces from Halberstadt and Julie Sandlau have also become personal favourites lately.

She also styled the look with golden Cartier, Dulong Fine Jewelry and Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen bracelets. The incredible diamond ring is a Rebekka Notkin creation.

Her smashing baby blue suede pumps are a classy design by Gianvito Rossi. I learned that Mary changed to a more comfortable pair of shoes during the day. To Chanel ballet flats.

DINNER

In the evening, the Crown Princess attended a dinner hosted by Creative Denmark. Representatives from Denmark and Italy also attended the dinner, which gave all of them a great opportunity to share some last few words.

In the evening, she showed up in an old reused Prada dress. First, I truly do not like her wear these long black blazers with everything. Especially, when wearing a longer dress like this. She first wore the dress on a trip to Thailand in 2008 (here). Not to forget, when she dazzled at INDEX: Award in 2013 (here). UFO No More (here) managed to identify her new black blazer as Harris Wharf London.

At the dinner, she matched the outfit with more or less the same pieces of jewellery. Necklaces from Halberstadt and Julie Sandlau. Bracelets from Cartier, Dulong Fine Jewelry and Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen.

Usually, I like when she wears colour-matching clothes and accessories. Usually, she master the colours with perfection, but a the dinner I think the purple dress and purple suede Gianvito Rossi pumps are too different in colours. When wearing them in 2020, I think they matched her outfit much better (here).

Queen Margrethe's 83rd birthday!

16 April 2023

Happy Birthday to our wonderful Queen Margrethe on her 83rd birthday! Truly a day to celebrate a beloved Queen, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister and cousin.

The whole family were gathered to celebrate her in her home at Amalienborg. Prince Joachim, Princess Marie, Prince Henrik and Princess Athena had come to celebrate the Queen as well all the way from France. Prince Nicolai and Prince Felix were also there to honor their grandmother on her birthday.

The Queen showed up on the balcony to greet all the Danes who wanted to congratulate her from the Amalienborg Square.

We rarely see this few photos of Mary, when attending such events. But somehow, she got a seat at back raw, when the family showed at the balcony. But we do get glimpses of her, when being photographed with her own little family. It turned out that she was wearing a brand new Scanlan & Theodore suit. I learned about this new suit from UFO No More (here). The color is a bit pale but somehow Mary made it work so beautifully. She matched it with a reused white blouse from BOSS Hugo Boss.

We can only guess what pair of shoes she chose to embrace the style of the Scanlan & Theodore suit. My guess would be simple black suede pumps. Still, I like the idea of something a bit more colorful.

The white pearl earrings have to be her all-time favorite earrings. They go way back in time and she has worn them a millions times on so many different occasions (here, here, here). We also get a peep of the stunning 'F'-necklace from Halberstadt and some incredible Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen diamond rings. Like the Dulong Fine Jewelry earrings, the diamond bands have also become a favorite from the jewellery box (here, here, here).

Opening of "Global Leaders Group event on Antimicrobial Resistance"

14 April 2023

It is no secret that Crown Princess Mary has tried to make the world a better place for quite a few years now. She is committed to help children being bullied. Children living with solitude and violence. Prevent domestic violence, child marriages, death when giving birth. This is just a few examples of her commitment and support in the community.

On Friday, the Crown Princess attended the opening of "Global Leaders Group event on Antimicroial Resistance". Resistance to antibiotics is often called the silent pandemic, which has become a serious issue globally. This resistance has is impact on both us and animals.

The conference has its purpose to create new partnerships across sectors and borders all to prevent and treat this antimicrobial resistance.

Crown Princess Mary gave the opening speech (here).

When attending the opening of the "Global Leaders Group event on Antimicrobial Resistance" conference, Mary had chosen til wear old goodies. The stunning floral printed dress is a ROTATE design by Birger Christensen. She has worn it before, when attending Copenhagen Fashion Week in 2019 (here) and at the opening of Odense Flower Festival (here). At the conference, Mary matched the beautiful dress with a reused Helmut Lang blazer.

She embraced the outfit with dazzling pieces of jewellery. The delicate Rose Quartz earrings are custom-made by Dulong Fine Jewelry. A beloved pair of earrings, just as the couple of diamond rings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. We also get a glimpse of her Halberstadt "F"-necklace.

The black suede Jimmy Choo pumps looks really good with the rest of her outfit. Something I always admired about Mary's style is how she wears color matching outfits. Black blazer + black belt + black shoes. Dusty pink earrings + different pink colored dress.

Meeting with UNEP

29 March 2023

Crown Princess Mary hosted a work meeting with Director General of the UN Environment Organization (also known as UNEP) Inger Andersen.

Inger Andersen was invited to join the Crown Princess for a meeting at Frederik VIII's Palace at Amalienborg to discuss UNEP's most important work: biodiversity and protection of nature among the 193 countries members of the Untied Nations.

The Crown Princess was briefed about about the UNEP's work for a binding global agreement on the elimination of plastic pollution in which Denmark is a significant player.

When meeting with Director General of the UN Environment Organization Inger Andersen, Mary wore a super elegant and delicate outfit. She matched a brand new Prada blouse with a simple black skirt. The new polka dotted blouse is similar in style to one of her other Prada dresses (here). This is what made my mind go to Prada as the designer. It turned out to be correct.

She embraced the beautiful look with a fine Celine belt.

The golden detailed from the belt and blouse, were complimented by nature inspired Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen earrings (clever choice, right?) and a stunning golden bangle. The one photo makes it difficult for me to identify the bracelet with certainty. At this point, it could be one of multiple bracelets.
