Christmas visit at Kræftværket

18 December

For the fourth time, the Crown Princess visited Kræftværket at Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen. Her visit was all private and unofficial. She first payed a visit to Kræftværket in 2016, here and since then it has become, more or less, an annual thing for her to do.

Kræftværket at Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen works as a meeting place for young people being treated for cancer. It gives the young patients a room of time away from their illness and a place of gathering. Kræftværket has been working with this agenda since 2015.

This year the visit took place in the evening of December 18th. She was warmly welcomed by lots of young people at Kræftværket, who gladly shared their stories and talk about how much the project has meant for them in their lives. As always, Crown Princess listened with great patience and sincerity. She took all the time needed. There was laughter, joy and also time for a more serious talk. Her visit had been announced anywhere. Therefor it was a more quieter without numerous journalists and photographers. The Crown Princess and the young people had an evening all to themselves.

The last three years Mary has been wearing the most casual and relaxing outfits when visiting Kræftværket someday end of December. It is a great source of inspiration to me. Sometimes we need some more everyday outfit-inspirations from her. That is what we get at these more private and unofficial visit. Last year's outfit, a grey look, inspired me quite a lot, here.

I think the same thing will happen this year. Mary had chosen a lovely reused purple blouse featuring long sleeves and a simple round neckline. To me it looks like she was wearing the same blouse as when celebrating 200 year with schools in Denmark in 2014, here. I have never been able to identify where it is from, but nevertheless it is easy to find a similar one if you like to. She matched her reused purple blouse with previously worn tartan trousers. Nor identified. Mary wore these trousers in the Christmas video published only a few weeks ago, here.

Her hair was in a simple higher bun. I always loved when she keeps her hair like this. Makes her look more attentive in some way. We get to see her face. As jewellery I see her old diamond studs and a matching diamond ring. Casual, yet expensive.

Very 'Mary' Christmas

The Crown Prince Couple has started a new tradition - to share a Christmas video with all of us. This year the couple were once again joined by all four children Prince Christian, Princess Isabella, Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine. They celebrated that Christmas Eve is just around the corner by decorating a Christmas three in the royal stables at Christiansborg Castle.

So, a very merry Christmas and a happy new year from all of them (and me) to all of you! I wish you a lovely time with friends and family celebrating one of the most wonderful times a year.

Inauguration of a new emergency center in Viborg

9th December

Crown Princess Mary was in a wonderful and splendid mood when she arrived in Viborg to inaugurate a new emergency center at the regional hospital. She was warmly welcomed with smiles, flowers and handshakes. Many people had arrived early to get a close look at the future Queen of Denmark. She spent much time waving and greeting the attendants.

Cutting the red ribbon with a golden scissor Crown Princess Mary inaugurated the new emergency center in Viborg. Afterwards she was given a guided tour around the new facilities that includes both new rooms for x-rays, expanded operation rooms, an emergency room and more bed units.

To show the Crown Princess how these new facilities work, an accident was staged. A "patient" arrived to the new center and was then treated by a team of doctors. Crown Princess Mary closely followed the process.

Mary looked absolutely stunning at the inauguration of the new emergency center in Viborg. She had chosen to match one of her old purple blouses with a brand-new midi skirt. A lovely wool blend skirt in grey that had never been seen before, but I am sure it is not going to be the last time. I imagine it worn with a white blouse or maybe some lace. The blouse goes back to around 2016 when she visited Moldova, here. It has not been identified yet. Back in Moldova Mary also matched it with grey clothes as she did this time in Viborg. Both colours look so good on her. A real winter chic Crown Princess keeping warm in a reused grey wool blend coat.

For sure most of you noticed her new hairband. A rather large one. This model has become quite popular lately. Hairband's in general are seen everywhere in fashion at the moment. Once again, I am surprise that Mary embraced the trend, but with that incredible curly hairstyle and outfit she rocked the trend with great perfection. What was your first though? Do you prefer Mary with hairband or not? Heaven managed to get it identified as a creation by Jane Taylor.

As jewellery we have reused black pearl earrings and a matching bracelet (and ring). All three pieces are from Dulong Fine Jewelry. Unfortunately, the earrings are not available anymore but pieces like these never goes out of style. As with the others jewellery - the golden Cartier bracelet and the diamond ring from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. Mary topped off this magnificent outfit with pointed pumps from Prada.

Christmas reception with the Mary Foundation

05 December

You never want to miss keeping up with a good tradition, right? Quiet some years ago the Crown Princess and her foundation established such a tradition. This is who all collaborators of the Mary Foundation are invited to a Christmas reception at Frederik VIIIs palace at Amalienborg during December.

With these collaborators the Mary Foundation functions, and my guess is that this annual Christmas reception is her way of saying: "Thanks for yet another year with great results. We hope for one more year collaborating with you for what we believe in: giving a voice to those who need it".

Crown Princess Mary warmly welcomed everyone at the arrival. A few of those invited for the reception were - Chairman of the Save the Children Lars Svenning Andersen and the Secretary General of the Save the Children Johanne Schmidt Nielsen. Also, CEO of Børns Vilkår Rasmus Kjeldahl and Poul Madsen from PwC were invited.

The famous gløgg and æbleskiver were served that, for sure, got everyone in the right Christmas mood. The Crown Princess was differently in the right spirit. She was one big smile happy eyes and accommodating to everyone standing in from of her, here.

Celebrating another year with impressive results for the Mary Foundation and celebrating Christmas Mary was beautifully dressed in red and black. She was not able to hide in the crowd because of the bright red Hugo Boss blouse. It features the most incredible details despite its simple design. Especially the neckline and pleated front are my favourite parts of this blouse. Mary has the same blouse in other colours too. Among others blue, pale pink and white.

She matched her lovely red blouse with what looks like a brand-new skirt to me. A black one featuring some kind of embellishment at front. So far, I have not identified where it is from, but the style reminds be a lot of something Prada would do. Any other ideas? At the same time, tell me what you think of her outfit. Do you like it as much as I do?

Unfortunately, none of the pictures shows her shoes. My guess - she is wearing a pair of black pointed pumps. Either patent or suede pumps. That would look good to the rest of her outfit. As jewellery Mary dazzled in diamonds. Both earrings and rings are from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. Noticed that little butterfly brooch on her chest? It is shaped as the Mary Foundation's logo - a butterfly now covered in diamonds. I still wonder who made this for her, because originally the logo comes in green and is not covered in diamonds. Maybe a gift from a skilled goldsmith or maybe one of their collaborators? This is not the first time she wears it.

Day 3. Work visit in Indonesia

04 December

THE BOROBUDUR TEMPLE

This is the last day of her work visit in Indonesia. She has been accompanied by Minister of Development, Rasmus Prehn and Executive Director of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Natalia Kanem all along.

The last couple the three of them have visited, met and talked to people who are working to improve girls and women's sexual and reproductive health and rights in Indonesia.

First thing early Wednesday morning Crown Princess Mary visited the Borobudur Temple. Her visiting the temple was not part of the official program. Borobudur Temple is a Buddhist monastery associated with the Mahayana tradition. It is one of the biggest Buddhist monuments in the world. What an incredible place. I get why the Crown Princess was all overwhelmed of what surrounded her. Also Minister of Development, Rasmus Prehn seemed to enjoyed the old building's rising to be the Borobudur Temple.

THE FINAL DAY

Later in the morning Crown Princess visited the healthcare center Puskesmas Tegalrejo. She was accompanied by Natalia Kanem (the Executive Director of UNFPA). These healthcare centers are part of the general improvement trying to offer better healthcare solutions for more people all around Indonesia. During their visit the Crown Princess took time to talk with girls and women at the healthcare center about sexual and reproductive health and rights.

After having visited Puskesmas Tegalrejo she was invited for lunch at the Sultan's palace hosted by the Sultan Hamengkubuwono X himself. The Crown Princess was warmly welcomed by the Sultan and his wife when she arrived. All three of them were in a great spirit, which is also why I believe it must have been a pleasant lunch.

All day she was all ears and eyes. Especially when attending a dialogue about family planning and the involvement of men. Crown Princess Mary attended this dialogue with Rasmus Prehn. On the other side of the dialogue were religious leaders. It was discussed who these leaders can use their importance to advise and improve knowledge for fathers to be. I imagine it being an interesting meeting for both the Crown Princess in her work and for Rasmus Prehn in his work as Minister of Development. The dialogue was the last thing on her agenda before leaving Indonesia.

Spending the morning at the Borobudur Temple in Java Mary was dressed in a comfortable outfit. She stunned wearing a brand new embroidered maxi skirt. Her new skirt has been identified as Zimmermann. I learned about it from Kate who managed to find it. Matched with a simple white button-down shirt Mary looked very casual. With all her similar white shirts this is still unidentified. Somehow I think this outfit is more than perfect for the occasion and place she was visiting. The atmosphere surrounding her; her mood and that outfit were getting along perfectly.

Mary has an amazing style for more than one reason. One of them is her way of wearing jewelry. When I wear the same amount of jewelry as her, I often feel overdressed. Do you know that feeling? But Mary never looked overdressed on jewelry. They compliment the rest of her look with such perfection. Wednesday morning she had chosen to wear golden jewelry from both Danish and international designers.

The golden earrings and the matching bracelet are created by Dulong Fine Jewelry. So is the bracelet shaped as a leaf. Take a closer look at all three bracelets, also the one from Cartier. I got a closer look and noticed that she was also wearing two golden diamond rings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. Love the simplicity of each piece as with the Nadia Shelbaya necklace. The orange sunglasses are still a big mystery. No one has been able to identify where they are from. Do you have the answer?

The beige Chloé ballet flats have been seen before on several similar occasions as in Indonesia. To me it is so unreal that she is wearing ballet flats this time a year, because in Denmark we have to cover every inch of our body with warm clothes.

At her private visit to the Borobudur Temple Mary was dressed casual in a white button-down and a new embroidered Zimmermann skirt. When she was on official duty she changed to a brand new blue printed dress featuring a white collar and hemlines. The print is small flowers, but it is not easy to see on a distance. Look closer and you will see. A very cute print. The dress is not a new favorite of mine, but she looks comfortable wearing it. A Royal Fashion Blog, here, I learned that Beulah London created her new dress.

Most of the jewelry were the same as earlier in the morning. Both earrings and bracelets were the same. She added another Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen diamond bracelet to the outfit to match the two diamond rings. The reason why these pieces look similar are because they are from the very same collection called Love Bands. Such beautiful pieces.

Wearing the Beulah London dress she changed her shoes twice. I am not quite sure which pair she wore first, but Mary both wore her beige Chloé ballet flats (as earlier) and the stunning Gianvito Rossi beige python pumps. I love when she wears colorful clothes and simpler shoes in neutral colors and vice versa.

Day 2. Work visit in Indonesia

03 December

FIGTHING FOR HEALTHCARE

From early morning Crown Princess Mary was joined by Executive Director of UNPFA, Natalia Kanem when visiting Indonesia Midwifes Association. One of the things discussed during the visit at the Midwifes Association was female circumcision. Despite being banned it is still practiced in Indonesia due to a religious- and traditional believes.

Fighting for girls and women’s physical and mental health and rights have become one of Crown Princess Mary’s top priorities, which is why I believe this visit was very unique and insightful. She listened and asked questions all along, and payed attention to everything she was told and shown at the clinic.

Later she participated a dialogue on gender-based violence and humanitarian crisis management. Representatives from the Indonesian healthcare authorities as well as the National Commission for Violence against Women also participated the dialogue. I always think it is interesting watching pictures from her participating these panel debates and dialogues. She is so attentive and part of the discussion. Am I the only one who have noticed that?

The dialogue was followed by a visit to Peacumber Coffee. At the moment a moving healthcare clinic is placed outside the café. These moving clinics is one of UNFPA’s initiatives to makes it easier for girls and women to have access to birth control.

70TH ANNIVERSARY OF DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS

In the evening Crown Princess Mary attended another significant event – the 70th anniversary of the diplomatic relationship between Denmark and Indonesia. She was one big smile at the arrival where she was warmly welcomed to the anniversary. As guest of honor the Crown Princess entered the stage and gave a speech in addition to the official celebration.

Dinner served at the night of celebration were created by the Danish chef, Per Thøstesen. He had created a dinner inspired by both countries. Also, the following ballet performance combined Denmark and Indonesia because the par de deux was performed by the Indonesian ballet dancer, Alban Lendorf and Wenny Halim – who have studied in Denmark.

The second day in Indonesia Mary has chosen another one of her old printed dresses. This time she dazzled wearing a blue and white printed dress from Michael Kors. We have seen the dress a couple of times before and to me this dress just gets better and better every time we get to see it. What is your opinion about the dress? Anything you would wear yourself? I imagine it with a pair of sneakers or boots; tights and maybe a knitted sweater. Well it is way colder in Denmark than Indonesia.

She embraced the style of the dress with white pearl jewelry all from Dulong Fine Jewelry. The earrings go way back in time and quickly became one of her favorite pair of earrings. Later she added a matching bracelet and a large pearl ring to accomplish the look. I also stopped her golden Cartier bracelet and the white pearl ring as mentioned a minute ago. Her lovely green beaded necklace is her Nadia Shelbaya creation.

Once again Mary stunned in nude pumps this time from Jimmy Choo. I always loved the shape of this model. It features an almond shaped toe and a lower heel. Looks great with the dress and relaxed hairstyle. Surprises me every time how chic it looks when her hair is like this. She makes a simple ponytail look smashing!

Mary looked absolutely stunning at the 70th anniversary celebration Tuesday evening. She wore her bright pink printed dress from Etro. The same dress as when her husband celebrated her 50th birthday not that many years ago. At that time most people loved the dress and how it wrapped around her body. Because the color is so bright and the print is very bold, the black hemline gives the dress a certain balance. It makes the eye relax a bit from all the colors and prints. I cannot get enough of this dress. It looks great on her.

I get why she was wearing only a few accessories and in the same colors as the dress. This outfit is primarily about the dress, but not forget to take a look at the incredible accessories as well. The stunning and super elegant earrings features both pink and yellow stones (like the dress in colors). Quite a while ago they were found at Annikat, who also created other of her expensive diamond jewelry. Mary has already worn these earrings at several events since the presentation in 2014. So far, the earrings have mostly been used for evening events, but it would not come as a surprise if she’d wear them as everyday jewelry one day.

Mary also dazzled wearing one of her Carlend Copenhagen clutch – a pink one this time. I have one myself (not made of crocodile as Mary’s) and I love it because it adds something very special to any outfit. Surprisingly most other colors actually match this pink clutch very well. She matched the rest of her bright and exotic evening outfit with black mesh pumps from Gianvito Rossi. With hairstyle, dress and accessories I can’t help myself from loving this outfit a great deal.

Day 1. Work visit in Indonesia

02 December

Accompanied by Minister of Development, Rasmus Prehn and Executive Director of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Natalia Kanem, has Crown Princess Mary traveled to Indonesia. The visit takes place from 2-4th December.

Her visit to Indonesia focuses on sexual and reproductive health and rights – also known as SRSR. The visit aim to give an insight into the topic on how Indonesia handle both challenges and solutions to questions about sexual and reproductive health and rights.

The Crown Princess is also going to attend and celebrate the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries when visiting Indonesia.

As patron of UNFPA this visit has to be very special for the Crown Princess. When she chooses to become patron for an organization, foundation etc. it is clear that she is both committed and sincere in doing her job as patron. It also shows on her trip to Indonesia.

Crown Princess Mary first attended the panel debate “Healthy & Organic Parenting” Monday afternoon. The debate focused on both exercise, healthy living and children. She was all eyes and ears and listened patiently to everything discussed during the debate. Later in the afternoon she attended World AIDS Day 2019, where she also gave a speech. Last but not least, the Crown Princess was invited to a work dinner hosted by the Danish Ambassador Rasmus Abildgaard Kristensen. Rasmus Prehn and Natalia Kanem were among several people who were invited to attend the dinner as well.

At her first day in Indonesia she looked just great in one of her old printed dresses from Hennes & Mauritz. Think this is the second or third time she is wearing this dress, but now is the first time I think it looks really great on her. The color is difficult for almost anyone to wear (in my opinion), but Mary made it work beautifully this time. Looks like she is more comfortable wearing the dress. And we get to see it without the black blazer as the first time she wore it, which is good, I think.

Mary chose to keep it simple when it comes to accessories. But really, the dress speaks for itself, right? The golden diamond earrings from Sophie Bille Brahe seems to have become favorites of hers. She has worn them quite a lot lately. It shows with great elegance how a pair of earrings can we worn for almost any occasion; any time.

The two golden bracelets show exactly the same because those two Dulong Fine Jewelry bracelets have been worn so many times I stopped counting years ago. They still make her look stunning. I also see a rather large golden ring, which we have seen before but I have never been able to identify and a diamond ring from Dulong Fine Jewelry. She embraced the style by also wearing her beloved Nadia Shelbaya necklace and Gianvito Rossi pumps. One day I got to have my own pair of Gianvito Rossi shoes. The incredible leather tote is from Ralph Lauren.

Presentation of the Heart Association's Research Grants 2019

28 November

Crown Princess Mary was in a great mood when she arrived to Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen. She visited the hospital as patron of the Heart Association, as part of the presentation of the Heart Association- and Children's Heart Foundation's grants talking place later that same day. The Crown Princess was welcomed by, among others, the chairman of the Heart Association, Christian Hassager and the hospital director, Per Christiansen.

Later on she was introduced to studies that aim to improve and make adult heart surgery more gentle. Apparently that can be done by the use of oxygenation and organ protection during surgery. Crown Princess Mary was also given a demonstration on how surgeons are trained with help from a fake torso. She even tried it herself. I imagine it as both an interesting and informative visit.

After the visit at Rigshospitalet the Crown Princess drove to Hotel d'Angleterre where she was about to attend the presentation of the Heart Association- and Children's Heart Foundation's annual grants. A couple of so-called 'heart children' welcomed the Crown Princess. Heart Children are either born with a heart failure or are suffering from a cardiovascular disease. She also gave a speech before handing over the grants to Sofie Bay Simony, Lars Allan Larsen, Mina Nicole Händel, Anne Lagsted and Canan Doganli. Congratulations to all five recipients with the prestiges grants.

Usually Mary dresses up in skirts and dresses for this annual event. But not this time. This year she had chosen to wear a reused dotted blazer from Massimo Dutti matched with a pair of navy blue trousers. We first saw the blazer in 2015 and since then she has worn it just a couple of times. When visiting Rigshospitalet made it the fourth time. As on two other occasions Mary embraced the style of her blazer and matching trousers with a good old blouse from Prada. I always liked the buckle detail following the neckline. Makes it more than just a plain blue blouse, right?

The round Pomellato earrings and ring were a perfect color combination to the rest of her outfit. Especially the blouse and jewellery were very much the same color. I love when things match in color. It is always a good thing to remember if you not sure what to pair. Matching colors always do.

Under her one sleeve one of her Dulong Fine Jewelry bracelets appeared. Another accessory that is mostly hidden, are the shoes. To me it looks like Mary was wearing her burgundy suede pumps, but it could also be her black and burgundy pumps from Prada. What do you see? Gianvito Rossi, here. Or Prada, here. She had also chosen to her reused her suede Hugo Boss clutch.

The 100th anniversary of the diplomatic relationsship between Denmark and Poland

25 November

IN WARSAW

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary had traveled to Warsaw in Poland to attend the marking of the 100th anniversary of the re-establishment of diplomatic relations between Denmark and Poland.

The one-day visit takes place with royal attendance because the couple have personally been invited by H.E. President of Poland, Andrzej Duda. He and his wife warmly welcomed the Crown Prince Couple when they arrived to the presidential palace. Here they were officially welcomed and attended  lunch hosted by the Polish Presidential Couple.

Later on Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary accompanied the Presidential Couple at laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Solider. The atmosphere were quiet and honoring. They also attended the opening of a historian conference at Uniwersytet Warszawski such as visiting the Centrum Weterana - a centre for veterans.

Meanwhile Crown Prince Frederik payed attention on other things, Crown Princess Mary attended the launch of "Cities Changing Diabetes" - a project Warsaw is now part of. She also participated a roundtable-meeting on the inclusion of people with disabilities.

CONCERT & REPCETION

After a long day in Warsaw in company of the Polish Presidential Couple, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary were guests of honor at the concert and following reception at Palac Kultury in Nauki, Poland. The evening events were a perfect way to end the day and the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Denmark and Poland.

The couple was in a splendid mood when they arrived to Palac Kultury. They were about to watch a concert orchestrated by Czeslaw Mozil, a Danish-Polish musician also known as hosting the Polish X-Factor. It looks like a wonderful evening with lots of music, sining and smiles.

Instagram  Billed-Bladet  Royal Fashion Blog

When arriving to Poland Mary was beautifully dressed in a chic winter outfit. Lovely colors and amazing prints. From what I have seen she is only wearing reused clothes and accessories. Finally we get to see her in that matching Strenesse coat and skirt. Love the 60s vibe with a suit-like outfit. Both coat and skirt are made of a wool-blend fabric that makes them perfect for this time a year - with or without thighs. She embraced the style by wearing her old printed blouse from Stine Goya. That blouse and that blue color are just a great combination. At one point she also wore one of her light brown shawls.

As jewellery Mary had chosen - once again - white pearls. I still have no ID on who created those incredible diamond and pearl earrings. But the stunning white pearl ring is a Dulong Fine Jewelry design such as with the bracelet. We also got a little glimpse of what I strongly believe is her golden Cartier bangle.

I am sure you also noticed how well her clutch, shoes and gloves matched in color, right? Personally I really like when ones accessory are the same color. Makes an outfit look more complete. Mary is master of getting the colors right. This time she chose her 1602 beige clutch and pointed python pumps from Gianvito Rossi, which we have seen quite a lot the last couple of months. Her outfit is not surprising at all, but she played save - and won!

Mary simply stunned in her new dark red velvet dress. Does that dress say "it is soon Christmas" or what? I cannot afford this beautiful dress, but it differently makes me wanna find a similar one. Mary's new creation has been found at Beulah London. I learned about her new dress from Heaven. Every time I look at it, I see new details. Just look at the neckline. The sleeves. The length and the buttons at front. Somehow I was sure she was going to wear something reused, but obviously I was wrong.

At first I thought she was wearing her burgundy velvet pumps, but a close look made me change my mind. These are her suede studded pumps from Gianvito Rossi. This is the fourth time Mary is flashing these pumps. We first saw them in 2018 when the French Presidentail Couple visited Copenhagen, here. Then a year later Mary wore these pumps once again with a black suit the the Cancer Society's Honorary Award 2019, here. And then again a couple of week later at a memorial concert for the lose of Prince Henrik, here.

She embraced the style with an old monogram clutch from Louis Vuitton. It it more than 10 years old. Since then we have seen the little black clutch at six different events. Most of them evening events. Also the diamond Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen earrings have been worn before and are custom-made. The ring on her right hand is also a reuse worn numerous times. It features a warm orange colored stone. At the INDEX Award in 2013 a good picture was taken showing the ring clearly, here.

The Health in the 21st Centre: Data, Policy, and Digital Technology conference

21st November

Crown Princess Mary arrived in a great spirit to Langelinje Pavillonen in Copenhagen where she was about to attend the OECD conference "Health in the 21st Centre: Data, Policy, and Digital Technology". Denmark hosted the conference. The Crown Princess was warmly welcomed by Magnus Heunicke (Minster of Health and Elderly) and Ulrik Vestergaard Knudsen (Deputy Director General of OECD).

The conference is part of the Knowledge-Based Health Systems - a project by OECD that works on how contries around the world can leverage health data to create knowledge that can be used for policy development. Also to drive processes of change in the health care system.

Shortly after the arrival to Langelinje Pavillonen the Crown Princess entered the stage and gave speech that made everybody listen with great attention. She spoke about digitalization and how these innovative solutions are an asset in the healthcare system and when it comes to gender equality. The speech is available here.

So another suit. I have always loved a woman in good suit not matter what color or print. Mary has a quick a couple of suits. A red one. A creamy white one. A couple of black ones and then this. The striped suit worn at the OECD conference goes way back in time. Mary first wore this dark grey suit in 2004 when visiting London, here. That makes it around 15 years old. We have seen the two-piece once more in 2004, here and then again the following year, here. Eight years later she showed up wearing the unidentified suits once again in 2013 at the High-Level Meeting Global Inequity, here. For so many years, her suits has been without a designer. But one day it turned out to be from Dolce & Gabbana.

She embraced the style with a simple black blouse and pointed ankle boots. The boots are from Hugo Boss and features a suede cap and matching heel. We were first introduced to the boots at the theatre premiere of Liva in 2017, here. They caught everyones attention once and for all when the couple visited Museum Jorn in Silkeborg a couple of days later, here. She also accessorized the outfit with diamond earrings and a Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen ring. Simple as that.

Royal hunt in Grib Skov

20th November

The royal hunt and following dinner at Fredenborg Castle has been a tradition for many years. This year Crown Prince Frederik hosted the event along with his mother, Queen Margrethe. Also Crown Princess Mary was attending in the afternoon when all animals where showed.

She and her husband, including her mother-in-law, were in a splendid mood. They greeted all who had participated the hunt. Everybody were talking and having a good time in the cold weather outside Fredensborg Castle.

Later in the evening Queen Margrethe hosted a banquet on occasion of the annual royal hunt in Grib Skov. According to the royal court, it has become a tradition to give a toast to all who had participated the hunt at the following banquet.

Kongehuset  Instagram  Daily Mail

It was all dark and cold on that November night when Queen Margrethe, her son Crown Prince Frederik and daughter-in-law Crown Princess Mary were gathered at Fredensborg Castle to celebrate the royal hunt in Grib Skov. Not much has been published or written about the event, which makes it a bit more difficult to identify what Mary was wearing.

Nevertheless. She had chosen to wear a pallet of darker colors. It looks like she was wearing an old dark brown suit from Strenesse. Mary was first spotted wearing this suit in 2005, but a year later was the first time at an official event - an officiel visit to Schleswig-Holstein in Germany, here. What actually looks like a blouse, is part of the jacket. The long black coat looks familiar, but at the moment I can't tell if or when we have seen it before. Can you help me?

Mary embraced the chic winter outfit with beautiful diamond earrings from Sophie Bille Brahe. She has been really wearing these earrings a lot since the first time we saw them a couple of months back. The light brown leather gloves are also a reuse. I am not quite sure if the boots are new, but I think they are. A really lovely outfit for a cold evening outside. What is your style when it is getting colder and warmer clothes are needed?

The annual art competition

18th November

As patron of both the National Association for Mental Health (SIND) and the Psychiatry Fund Crown Princess Mary attended a very special event taking place at Copenhagen City Hall. More specifically, she attended the annual art competition arranged by Copenhagen Municipality.

The competition is for all employees working in the area of social psychiatry and people with a mental disorders and their relatives. With an event like this Copenhagen Municipality aim to give both citizens and their relatives the opportunity to become part of a community and of course make it a good experience for all participants.

Crown Princess Mary arrived in a great spirit. With a big smile on her face she took plenty of time listening, commenting, speaking and watching. She spoke with the participants and they gladly told her about their paintings and how it had being part of the competition. It was a wonderful sight to see when the participants and Crown Princess Mary met. All lit up at the sight of her and vice versa.

Attending the competition at Copenhagen City Hall Mary was dressed in a warm and cozy outfits. Personally I get why she was wearing a knitted sweater and long trousers. The weather is getting colder every day. I learned that Elena has been able to identify Mary's new knitted sweater as a Victoria Beckham design, here. If she is going to wear this piece as much as her other Victoria Beckham blouse then this is differently a sweater we will see again - more than one time. She embraced the style by wearing a brand new sleeveless blouse as well. It features an embellished collar and a blueish floral print. Kate managed to find her new blouse at Miu Miu. Great finds both of you.

She had chosen to accessorized her outfit with just a few things. To me it looks like she was wearing her old pink argyle and diamond studs from Hartmann's. When she first started wearing these stunning earrings, she wore them very often. But until now, we haven't seen them that much. I would really like to have them as part of my own jewellery collection - or something similar, but somehow I am not good with the design. The floor-length trousers almost covered the black pointed ankle boots from Gianvito Rossi.

Day 2. Nairobi Summit on ICPD25: Accelerating the Promise

13 November

Crown Princess Mary was participating Nairobi Summit on ICPD25: Accelerating the Promise in Nairobi, Kenya on November 12th. The following day she was also attending several panel debates and met with a very special lady.

First thing in the morning she attended "Investing in Education to Invest in A Better Future" - a panel debate hosted by the International Center for Research on Women (ICRW) about gender and education. The debate it took place at Hotel Villa Rosa Kempinski Nairobi. A few hours later the Crown Princess attended another panel debate called "Women Leaders High Level Dialogue". A debate with participation of female leaders.

I also talked about her meeting with a very special lady. That lady was no other than Margaret Kenyatta, Kenya's First Lady. She had also attended the debate "Women Leaders High Level Dialogue" prior to meeting the Danish Crown Princess. Finally the Crown Princess participated the session "Fulfilling the Cairo Promise in a Fragile World". The Royal Court writes that the session was all about the fulfillment of the Cairo Action Plan, the maintenance of women's sexual and reproductive health and rights, and the fight against gender-based violence.

Attending the second day of Nairobi Summit Mary was dressed in her reused Massimo Dutti linen suit. A classy suit that works with perfection every single time she wears it. This time she had chosen to styled her beige suit with her white Hugo Boss button-down blouse. I would like to have seen just a little more colors, but Mary still looks beautiful in a more neutral color palette. A suit is indeed a classic piece of clothes, but can also be a symbol of how far women have come. About 60-70 years ago it was more or less impossible for women to wear a suit. That is not the thing anymore.

White pearl jewellery were way more normal and considered for women to wear back in the old days. Now Mary shows how they have not gone out of style. She both wore white pearl earrings and a matching bracelet created by Dulong Fine Jewelry. The stylish leather handbag is her beloved pieces from Prada and the incredible python pumps are from Gianvito Rossi.

She changed her hairstyle during the day from a simple blow-out to another simple ponytail. I like the last one best. It makes her a bit more polished.
