Day 2. Visit to Burkina Faso

29 October

Meeting the President of Burkina Faso

So, we just found out that Crown Princess Mary and Minister of Development Flemming Møller Mortensen have been on a two-days visit to Burkina Faso. In a troubled state like Burkina Faso, many girls and women have to pay the price and compromise their health, rights and opportunities. All because they live with poverty, a changing climate and much uncertainty.

On her second day in Burkina Faso, she first met with President Roch Marc Christian Kaboré. The meeting took place in the President Palace in Burkina Faso's capital, Ouagadougo. I am sure the President was able to give the Crown Princess a clear view of the situation in both Ouagadougo and Kaya as the Crown Princess visited the day before (here).

Meeting with the President of Burkina Faso from the morning, Mary had chosen a lovely outfit. She matched a simple white Hugo Boss blouse with a stunning floral printed midi skirt. The skirt has not yet been identified. I look forward to the day I happens.

She embraced the style with golden Orit Elhanati earrings, a nude reused clutch and what looks like new brown suede Gianvito Rossi Pumps. Truly a magnificent outfit for such a meeting.

During the day

After meeting President Roch Marc Christian Kaboré in the Presidential Palace, she and her traveling partner Flemming Møller Mortensen paid a visit to a local girls club not that far from Ouagadougou. Girls from the girl club, shared their stories and experience with child marriages, violence and  circumcision with the Crown Princess. The girls club act as a closed forum for the girls to talk, get legal advice and psychological support.

Crown Princess Mary enjoyed lunch with representatives from a youth panel. This youth panel is by initiative by the Danish Embassy in Burkina Faso. It provides the embassy a view and guidance of how to implement Denmark's help in the state.

After having lunch, the Crown Princess visited the counseling center ABBEF-centre. ABBEF has a wide range of competent health professionals, who offers their help and knowledge about both contraception, HIV/AIDS and sexual and reproductive health in genereal.

After her visit at the Presidential Palace, Mary made quick change in clothes to an exotic printed button-down and her beloved green Apiece Apart midi skirt. Such a comfortable and down-on-earth-look.

She accessorized the outfit with earrings from Dulong Fine Jewelry, a bracelet from the same designer and an Orit Elhanti necklace. The second golden bracelet is Cartier.

Wish I would be able to wear these golden sandals from Anonymous Copenhagen, but my feet would never cooperate with me. It looks like Mary makes it work perfectly.

Reception at the Danish Embassy

It had already been a long day for both the Crown Princess and the Minister of Development Flemming Møller Mortensen, but they had one more event to attend: an evening reception hosted by the Danish Ambassador in Burkina Fasp Steen Sonne Andersen.

At the reception, Crown Princess Mary had obviously been asked to make a speech and she did. She was then to meet a number of those partners Denmark collaborate with in Burkina Faso.

In the evening, she had changed clothes one more time. One final time before her visit was about the end and she was headed back home to Copenhagen. I learned from UFO No More that Mary was wearing a new green printed Hennes & Mauritz dress matched with a new leather belt from Isabel Marant.

As other accessories, she had chosen large golden earrings from Dulong Fine Jewelry and a matching Orit Elhanati necklace. We also get a glimpse of a rather large ring. That is also from Dulong Fine Jewelry.

To me, it looks like Mary embraced the outfit with a new black (embroidered?) clutch as well and brand new peep-toe sandals from Givenchy. Thanks to UFO No More we know about these fascinating heeled sandals.

Day 1. Visit to Burkina Faso

28 October

Apparently, Crown Princess Mary has been on a two-days visit abroad. On October 28th, she arrived to Burkina Faso. She was accompanied by Flemming Møller Mortensen, Danish Minister of Development. The two of them had traveled to Burkina Faso to rais attention to girls and women's rights and opportunities. In a state troubled with severe climate changes and terrorism, this has become even more difficult.

Much has improved since the Crown Princess visited Burkina Faso five years ago, there are still a long way to go (here) (here). The state's development the last couple of years, has not been for the better. Mainly, girls and women's pays the price and many have to compromise their freedom, rights and opportunities due to their gender.

On the first day, Crown Princess Mary and Minister of Development Flemming Møller Mortensen visited Kaya. Their program was packed with a general focus on climate changes and all of those people, who have been displaced internally. Places like health-clinics are truly under a huge pressure, both before and certainly at the moment due to the current situation in Burkina Faso.

Visiting Kaya, Mary was dressed in an old Heartmade Julie Fagerholt printed blouse and a pair of sandy colored trousers paired with a brown leather belt. I guess it was both practical and comfortable. Keeping her eyes protected by the sun with a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses and a Cavalleria Toscana cap.

I learned from UFO No More that her new white sneakers are from Veja. Never thought we would get to see Mary wear such sneakers, but I get why. A close look revealed that she accessorized her first look in Burkina Faso with jewellery from Orit Elhanati, Cartier and Dulong Fine Jewelry. The fine Kknekki hairband was a spot-on accessory as well.

Concert and dinner at Fredensborg

26 October

All day, important preparations were done at Fredensborg to make the castle shine for the evenings magic event (here). For more than 20 years, Queen Margrethe has hosted a concert and following dinner to celebrate different industries in Denmark. This year, she wanted to honor the Danish film industry.

Names like Bille August (film director), Nicolai Coster-Waldau (actor), Sofie Gråbøl (actress), Frederik Malling Juul (distributor in SF Film) and Ulrich Thomsen (actor) were invited by the Queen to attend the concert at Fredensborg and following prestiges dinner in Kuppelsalen. See the guest list here.

Crown Prince Frederik was accompanied by his lovely wife, Crown Princess Mary. Prince Joachim and beautiful Princess Marie also attended the event.

Kongehuset ● Billed BladetBilled Bladet ●  Billed Bladet ● Billed Bladet ● UFO No More

Honestly, I had hight hopes that Mary would wear some kind of reused dress for the concert at Fredensborg. We got no old dress, but a reused powder pink Max Mara jumpsuit. Super elegant choice. I like how she keeps surprising us, but really, I think she wears what she finds most comfortable and most appropriate for the occasion. She is a fulltime winner to me. She first wore the jumpsuit, when she attended the presentation of the Danish Rainbow Awards -Axgil in April 2019 (here). Later that same year, Mary wore it again at the C40 World Mayors Summit at Christiansborg (here).

Even Princess Marie had chosen a suit for the event. She perfectly matched her husband in his velvet blazer.

Like earlier, Mary accessorized the stunning jumpsuit with her beloved powder pink satin box clutch from Bottega Veneta. It has been a favourite evening bag since 2010. She introduced us to this clutch January 2010 at the obligatory New Year reception (here). The blush suede Gianvito Rossi pumps are also a hit both with the evening-look at Fredensborg, but also for other events.

We get a glimpse of some jewellery as well - a silver cuff, possibly a diamond ring and long earrings. The earrings can be altered to a shorter version. At the concert and dinner, Mary had chosen the long version. So far, I have not been able to track their identity. Maybe one day. The golden bangle is from Cartier. I finally, found a few photos showing her beautiful hairdo. It is incredible. So simple, so elegant.

The International Day of the Girl Child 2021

12 October

On Tuesday, the Crown Princess attended a very special event: the International Day of the Girl 2021 organized by PlanBørnefonden. An event that aim to increase awareness of those problems girls handle every day because of their gender. This years area of focus was the crisis in the Sahel region of West Africa - therefor the name "#GirlsInCrisis: The lost girls in Sahel".

The Crown Princess also attended the International Day of the Girls Child last year (here).

Crown Princess Mary arrived to Nærum Gymnasium and was then welcomed by Fleming Møller Mortensen. He is the Minister for Development Cooperation and Minister for Nordic Cooperation. He was accompanied by Chairman of the Board of PlanBørnefonden Stine Bosse and Niels Hjølund, School leader of Nærum Gymnasium.

During her visit, she was introduced to the gymnasium's sponser wall. An initiative by Make A Change - a school committee at Nærum Gymnasium.

The International Day of the Girl Child has caught much attention and was closely followed by school's all over Denmark thought a livestream.

Monochrome outfits are always grey go-to's. They work every single time and are it makes a great statement. That is what Mary had chosen, when she attended the International Day of the Girls Child 2021 at Nærum Gymnasium on October 12.

The lovely black blouse is a reuse from CO. She first wore it at the Women's Board Award in 2020 (here). Back then, she embraced the style of the blouse with a light brown midi skirt. At the event in Nærum, she styled it with a simple black a-line skirt. To me, it looks brand new.

Usually, I would talk about jewellery at this point but today I fell talking about shoes first. What do you think of her new boots? Personally, I really like them but I am not quite sure they look that good with a long skirt. Think it makes her shorter and then it is a bit clumsy. The boots are from Gianvito Rossi.

Now for her other accessoires. The stunning long collier is a design by Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. I adore their jewellery. This necklace is no exception. It is simply stunning. The golden Dulong Fine Jewelry earrings are also great for this outfit. Then I see three golden bracelets. Her beloved Cartier bangle, a new Dulong Fine Jewelry favourite and a third one from Rebekka Notkin. Mary was also wearing a rather large ring on her right hand featuring a light green stone. I have identified it as a new ring from Dulong Fine Jewelry.

Haslev's 150th anniversary

11 October

Back in 2012, the Crown Prince Couple attended the 150th anniversary of the two cities Hadsten and Hinnerup (here). On October 11, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary attended yet another city's 150th anniversary. That city is Haslev. The celebration was planned to take place a year ago, but due to the pandemic plans changed.

The couple were in a great and smiley mood, when they arrived to Haslev. Lots of Danes showed up to get a glimpse of the royal couple.

First, Crown Prince Frederik celebrated the 150th anniversary by place a memorial plaque at the station square. Haslev has been elected as Denmark's most beautiful station city in 2020 and on that occasion, Crown Princess Mary revealed their very own plaque.

When visiting Haslev, the couple also spend some time visiting Skovtårnet (the Forest Tower) in Gisselfeld Kloster forest. The 45 meter tower was created by the Danish architectural company EFFEKT.

Apparently, I am not the only one realising that the weather is for coats, long trousers and boots. Mary got the message as well. Her outfit is nothing like when they attended the 150th anniversary in 2012, but I like this just as much.

The lovely navy blue coat is an old one from Massimo Dutti. Actually, it is reversible. Princess Isabella has also been seen wearing her mothers coat. This time, Mary matched it with a smashing burgundy turtleneck from ZARA and wide-legged trousers. In a way, I think it looks like jeans. Kate is the one who identified her new turtleneck. When visiting Skovtårnet in Gisselfeld Koster forest, she added yet another layer. Either she was wearing a navy blue down jacket or a down vest. Both would do. Both could be from Moncler, but I cannot say for sure. The same goes with her blue boots. Think we have seen them before.

She also accessorized her outfit with a pair of brown sunglasses. They have been identify by Royal Fashion Police (here) as Thierry Lasry. The white and blue hairband is from Kknekki.

The opening of CFS+ 2021

7 October

We all know about Copenhagen Fashion Summit. Something Crown Princess Mary has attended every year since 2009 because of her role as patron. CFS+ was established the same year and is an extension of the original Copenhagen Fashion Summit. Due to the pandemic, CFS+ became a digital summit, but still focusing on sustainable fashion and a more sustainable fashion industry.

As both patron of Copenhagen Fashion Summit and the Global Fashion Agenda, Crown Princess Mary participated the opening of this years CFS+. She even gave the opening speech. The Crown Princess was "accompanied" by key representative from all over the world.

These representatives represent both NGO's, different medias, politicians - all part of the global fashion industry, all interested in finding more sustainable solutions for the fashion industry.

I guess her speech was recorded on October 5th. The same day as when she attended a meeting with WWF World Wild Fund for Nature (here). Think that is the case because she wore the exact same outfit for the two events. When recording the speech, we got a closer and clearer look at was Mary was (more specifically) wore.

Mary has matched her dark red Alexander McQueen blazer with a simple black blouse and trousers. A very professional and chic look. A really great outfit for the occasion. Not too little, nor too laud. She embraced this lovely look with golden diamond earrings from Sophie Bille Brahe, a Cartier bangle and one of her Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen diamond rings.

At first the shoes tricked me. She has so many of these black boots such as ankle boots, but now I am sure she was wearing her old Gianvito Rossi ankle boots. I get why she loves wearing them. I have one pair of Gianvito Rossi pumps and they are incredibly comfortable to wear - even with a 10 cm heel and being totally untrained for months wearing heeled shoes.

Filming for "Antibulli Football"

6 October

Antibulli Football was lanuched in 2017 (here). It is a project developed by the Mary Foundation and DBU - Dansk Bold Union (here). The project focuses on tools, advices and specific training to fight bullying and improve well-being among children at the age of 6 to 12.

Right from the begning, goalkeeper on the men's national team and Ambassador of Antibulli Football Kasper Schmeichel has taken part of the Antibulli Football project. The two of them both attende the launch back in 2017. Now the Crown Princess and Kasper Schmeichel met again on a football field to play some football and answered questions from children (here) (here). The Mary Foundation shared a few moments from the meeting on social media (here).

Looking at the photos, I think the weather was a bit rainy, when Mary and Kasper met at the football field. Luckily, she was dressed for the occasion wearing long trainers trousers from NIKE and a matching long-sleeved sports jacket. The white t-shirt is promoting the Antibulli Football project. They are sponsored by Hummel. Kasper Schmeichel also wore a t-shirt.

After all, Mary's hair has reached a length that takes a hairband now and then. This was one of the occasions. This hairband is from Kknekki. I also see a golden Dulong Fine Jewelry ring. Even though, I have not been able to find the exact model her trainers themselves shows to be from Asics. At the arrival, she also wore a reused long down-coat. One great outfit.

Meeting with WWF Wold Wild Fund for Nature

5 October

Since Crown Princess Mary took the job as President of the WWF World Wild Fund for Nature last year, she has already attended several events and meetings the with foundation. Like, when she attended the welcomed new thornback rays in Kattegatcentret in Grenaa in August 2020 (here) or the release of #ForNaturenWWF May 2021 (here).

On October 5th, Crown Princess Mary met with the rest of the presidium of WWF World Wild Fund for Nature for a meeting. General Secretary of WWF Denmark Bo Øksnebjerg welcomed the Crown Princess with a big smile and friendly words.

At the meeting, the foundations new four years strategi. It is entitled "Bigger, bolder and better - for a nature positive future". What a name.

Not that many photos have been published from her meeting with WWF World Wild Fund for Nature. Still, we got a little glimpse of what she was wearing. The lovely red or maybe even burgundy blazer with the chick detail, are from Alexander McQueen. The blazer is not that old, but Mary has already worn it quite a few times. For instance, at the UEFA Euro 2020 in London (here) and promoting the Mary Foundations "Fantastic Football Parties" (here). She wore the blazer with a black blouse and what looks like matching black trousers.

A closer look at the few photos revealed her wearing an old necklace. Mary has worn it twice before with two different lengths chains. We first saw this beautiful necklace with a long chain at Danmark's Indsamling in January 2010 (here). She introduced a shorter version at the celebration of Queen Margrethe's 70th birthday in 2010 (here). I see a golden bracelet and a couple of rings, but they blurry photos makes it hard for me to tell anything for sure.

Opening of the Parliament 2021

05 October

Every year on the first Tuesday in October, most of the Danish royal family are gathered to attend the opening of the Parliament. This year, Princess Benedikte arrived first to Christiansborg. Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary followed her and last arriving to the opening was Queen Margrethe.

All four of them, were welcomed with smiles and handshakes. Both Princess Benedikte, Crown Princess Mary and Queen Margrethe were each given a bouquet of flowers at the arrival. Speaker of Parliament Pia Kjærsgaard was one of the first to welcome them.

From the royal balcony in the parliament hall, the four of them watched the opening of the Parliament. This day is to mark the coming of a new year for the Parliament after their summer holiday.

All ladies (and Crown Prince Frederik) were beautifully dressed for the occasion. Princess Benedikte in her burgundy coat, Queen Margrethe in her bright red blazer and matching hat and of course Mary in that black "suit".

Mary's black wrap jacket is a Scanlan & Theodore design. Often, we have had the discussion if it is in fact a blouse or a jacket. The designer describe it as a jacket. That is my opinion as well. It works perfectly as a jacket. She matched it with a pair of wide-legged trousers. Usually, her outfits are a bit more glamorous.  Like in 2019 (here) or in 2014 (here). This look is way more business-like. Something she would normally wear for an event. Maybe I had higher hopes. Nevertheless, Mary look stunning at the opening.

At UFO No More, I learned that her new burgundy skull cap is from Jane Taylor. I see great potential. Do you like it? She styled it with a matching suede Hugo Boss clutch and pointed Prada pumps. Honestly, I never had a crouch on these pumps, but somehow she makes it work every single time.

Then Kate finally managed to indemnity her lovely checkered gloves. They happen to be from Prada. Mary wore these gloves, among others, when she visited Moldova in 2016 (here). Only wearing (and caring the other one) one glove, we got a glimpse of her beloved black south sea pearl ring from Dulong Fine Jewelry. Mary also wore an old pair of Marlene Juhl Jørgensen diamond studded earrings and a golden brooch featuring a centered purple stone.

Day 2. 100th anniversary with diplomatic relations between Denmark and Lithuania

01 October

Crown Princess has traveled to Vilnius in Lithuania to attend the grand celebration of the 100th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Denmark and Lithuania. On her first day, she had a fullpacked program. Right from when she arrived to Vilnius and then a gala concert in the evening.

This is her last day in Lithuania. On occasion of the anniversary, Crown Princess Mary attended the opening of a Danish - Lithuanian conference. The conference mark the publish of a special anniversary book. It took place at Vilnius University. Afterwards, the Crown Princess was given a guided tour around the historic facilities from 1579.

She then visited a kindergarden in Ruta. They work with teaching tools from the Lithuanian National Olympics Committee. The Crown Princess was accompanied by Mrs. Diana Nausėdienė. It was a lovely sight. The two of them took plenty of time to interact with the children. Then she attended the official opening of Senators Passage - an areas in Vilnius with (among others) restaurants, apartments and offices. It all ended with meeting some of the deployed Danish soldiers in the Lithuanian.

We have already seen Mary wear two lovely outfit on her first day in Vilnius, Lithuania. That she continued on day two celebration the 100th anniversary with diplomatic realtions between Denmark and Lithuania. She had chosen one of her stunning red dresses. This one is from Dolce & Gabbana. It has differently become a favourite of hers. Mary also wore the Dolce & Gabbana dress at the opening of LEGO Houses in 2017 (here). She stayed warm by wearing her grey JOSEPH coat.

The beautiful white pearl earrings are from Dulong Fine Jewelry. They go way back in history. Think it is one of the oldest pari she has worn that designer. Mary also wore a couple of rings from Dulong Fine Jewelry. They are much loved by her at the moment, but the pair of them also match each other perfectly. We get a little glimpse of a golden Cartier bangle as well.

It is no secret that Mary loved wearing colorful outfits with nude or beige pumps. I always adored that combination. Makes her outfit looks more... exclusive and polished. Do you like this? These nude pointed pumps are from Gianvito Rossi.

Day 1. 100th anniversary with diplomatic relations between Denmark and Lithuania

30 September

Thursday morning, Crown Princess Mary arrived to Vilnius. She was about to stay in the capital of Lithuania for two days on occasion of the 100th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Denmark and  Lithuania. She was warmly welcomed at the airport. Given flowers and greeted by the welcoming committee.

Her day had just begun. Crown Princess Mary's program of the day was packed with places to be, people to meet and things to see. But first, the official welcoming. It took place at the Presidential Palace in Vilnius. President Gitanas Nausėda and his wife Diana Nausėdienė welcomed the Crown Princess with open arms. She enjoyed lunch with the Presidential Couple before she headed off to a meeting with the President of the Lithuanian National Parliament Viktorija Čmilytė-Nielsen. The Crown Princess also visited Vytautas Kasiulis Art Museum with Mrs Diana Nausėdienė to attend the open the exhibition “Awakening of Nations”. In the afternoon, she paid her respect and attended a wreath laying ceremony. This is just to mention a few things from her first day in Vilnius.

In the evening, Crown Princess Mary attended a gala concert with musicians from both Denmark, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. The concert was arranged by the Danish Cultural Institute, which the Crown Princess is patron of. She was accompanied by, among other guests, Mrs Diana Nausėdienė. After the concert, Ambassador Hans Brask hosted a dinner at the Danish Embassy in Vilnius. Crown Princess Mary attended as guest of honor.

When Mary first arrived to Vilnius in Lithuania, she has chosen a comfortable outfit for her flight. The grayish JOSEPH coat looked great on her, but it covered a bit the rest of her outfit. Looks like Mary wore black wide-legged trouser and a matching blouse. Even though we have only seen a couple of photos from the arrival, we still get a glimpse of how she accessorized her travel-outfit. I see pink diamond earrings from Hartmann's (much loved by her), a couple of golden rings from Dulong Fine Jewelry and a third one from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. Mary also embraced a perfect look by wearing a Ralph Lauren bag.

Around noon, Mary kicked off today's program in a killer outfit! She wore her stunning Mark Kenly Domino Tan dress. What a beauty. She first wore the dress at an official visit to Italy in 2018 (here). Then again a year later in Paris (here). Cannot get enough of this dress and the Max Mara belt is a lovely addition. Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen is the talented master behind her golden diamond studded earrings and the magnificent leaf brooch. They also created the diamond bangle. I am crazy about Lynggaard's craftsmanship. The two other golden bracelets are from Rebekka Notkin and Cartier. Mary also wore two matching rings from Dulong Fine Jewelry. She topped of the look with a small Prada handbag and nude Prada pumps.

In the evening, she changed one more time. From white to bright blue. Her blue beauty is a reused dress from Cult Gaia. We first saw the dress, when Mary attended the 100th anniversary of Iceland's sovereignty in 2018 (here). At that time, I was not very in to the dress. I changed my mind. 100 %. She looks marvelous at the gala concert in Vilnius. Mary styled the dress perfectly with Dulong Fine Jewelry diamond earrings, a Cartier and Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen bracelet. The pretty little blue box clutch is from Prada. The shoes are a mystery to me. They look suede and purple, but I need a bit more to say for sure where they are from. And I seriously love her hairstyle.

Government dinner at Fredensborg

29 September

Ministers of the Danish Government, were invited to dinner at Fredensborg. Queen Margrethe hosted the dinner.

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary were also invited and arrived to Fredensborg shortly before the dinner was about to place place. They couple were accompanied by, among others, Minister of Education and Research Jesper Petersen, Minister for Children and Education Pernille Rosenkrantz-Theil. Minister of Social Affairs and the Elderly Astrid Krag and Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen.

Mary was beautifully gown in a long figure-hugging Temperly London dress. It features the most amazing sleeves and neckline. Look at the little embellishment gathering the two-sided neckline. She first wore the silver gown in 2015, when celebrating Queen Margrethe's 75th birthday (here). Actually, she repeated most of her outfit from back then. Very little changed. Her hairstyle changed. At the Government dinner, the curls and half updo gave her a more relaxed and soft look. I like that.

She accessorized her evening outfit with a matching silver clutch from J. Furmani. A magnificent detail to wear a same-color clutch. Makes it look a bit more polish. Don't you think so? Also with the stunning diamond earrings from Dulong Fine Jewelry. They come with a different set of pendants. When she stepped out of the car at the arrival, we got a glimpse of her shoes. Light grey pointed pumps from Gianvito Rossi. One day I hope to see Mary wear this dress with more colorful accessories.

Dinner with the Mary Foundation's presidium

28 September

Every year, Crown Princess Mary spend much time honoring the Mary Foundations presidium. Those companies working along with the foundation and makes things happen.

The presidium are co-founders and financially partners of the Mary Foundation, who also work as advisors.

Crown Princess Mary hosted a special dinner for the presidium Tuesday evening. The dinner took place at Frederik VIII's Palace at Amalienborg - the Crown Prince Couple's family home. CEO's, Chairman's and Board members from both Carlsberg, the Egmont Foundation, William Denmark Foundation, Ole Kirk's Foundation, TrygFonden, Det Obelske Familiefon, Oak Foundation, Remmen Foundation, the Hempel Foundation and Østifterne were invited to the dinner.

A photo of the Crown Princess was posted on social media prior to the dinner. With that she shared a few words on today's gathering. She really looked forward to gather all of them again. To discuss work and, especially, how to contribute to made community, where everybody feels they belong.

No one knows how to shine as a host like Mary. Just look at that outfit. I am absolutely stunned by her look. That burgundy lace dress from Dolce & Gabbana is simply outstanding for this event. Mary also wore the dress at a state visit from Iceland in 2017 (here). I remember that many of you adored her outfit back then. She had also chosen the dress at a reception at Amalienborg the previous year (here).

Mary embraced the style of her dress with golden earrings from Dulong Fine Jewelry. They are studded with hundreds of diamonds. The photo also revealed that she wore one of her diamonds band from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen.

At the moment, her hair has reached a length that makes it perfect for simple and more elegant updo's like this one. The hairpins made it even more beautiful. One great evening look!

Presentation of the DI Award 2021

28 September

Crown Princess Mary arrived to K.B. Hallen at Frederiksberg to attend the DI Summit and on that occasion also present the winner of the DI Award 2021.

The DI Award are handed over every year as part of the DI Summit. It is given to a company, who have made a certain effort in business and in the community. The land of opportunities was this years big theme. It focuses on, among others, creating equal opportunities for everybody in the workplace.

On occasion of the summit and the following ceremony, Crown Princess gave a speech and watched other speeches and presentations. Seems like it was of great interest that the Crown Princess listened to the different speakers.

Later on, the DI Award 2021 was handed over by Crown Princess Mary to the Danish company NCC Danmark due to their hard work helping vulnerable young people entering the labor market. NCC's legal manager Simon Westergaard and NCC's HR director Louise Sjøntoft and DI's CEO Lars Sandahl Sørensen received the award. CEO Lars Sandahl Sørensen and Chairman of DI Lars-Peter Søbye also entered the stage to greet the winning company.

Weather is getting cold and wet. Differently that time a year for a purple or maybe burgundy outfit like the one Mary wore at the prevention of the DI Award 2021 taking place in K.B. Hallen at Frederiksberg. Much points to that the reused skirt could be from Prada. Something similar has been found, but we are not there yet. She matched it was an old same-color blouse. Mary has been seen wearing this outfit since 2016, when she first wore it visiting Moldova (here). It was also a reward-winning look in 2017 (here) and in 2019, when attending the 100th anniversary of the Supreme Court (here).

Many things and colors would do great with that lovely purple outfit. Mary had chosen one of her beloved suede clutches from Hugo Boss and matching pointed bi-color pumps from Prada. Impressive how well clothes and accessories from, allegedly, so many different designers match in colors. She also accessorized the look with a ring and bracelet from Dulong Fine Jewelry. I see an Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen ring. Sophie Bille Brahe is the creator of her beautiful golden diamond earrings.
