The wildlife garden at Fredensborg

29 June 2022

Crown Princess Mary has been President of the WWF World Wide Fund for Nature in Denmark for about two years now. She was asked to become President after her father-in-law passed away. Prince Henrik was one of the initiators of bringing WWF World Wide Fund for Nature to Denmark.

WWF World Wide Fund for Nature Secretary General Bo Øksnebjerg was invited to visit the Crown Princess at Fredensborg Castle, where the Crown Prince family lives (here). The royal couple once decided to make part of the private garden surrounding Kancellihuset all about wildlife. Plants were chosen to support biodiversity and make the garden more attractive to, among others, insects.

Along with a few photos from Bo Øksnebjerg's visit in the private garden, also comes a short interview. Among other, Crown Princess Mary mentions how much she loves nature and how fascinated she is of nature. She always loved all kinds of plants and flowers, but only the last few years it has become a true interest of hers to know more about the different fauna and flora.

I truly wish, I would look like that when wondering around in a t-shirt, trousers and rubber boots in my garden. I don't. Somehow, Mary manages to look great no matter time and place. Lately, she has been very fond of t-shirts. Let us admit it - Mary wear them with such elegance. I still need to identify this one (and many others). She matche the navy blue shirt with new Polo Ralph Lauren trousers. I learned about them trousers at UFO No More.

Mary embraced a chic garden-style by wearing a brown leather belt and greenish Le Chameau rubber boots. How many can brag about having seen their Crown Princess in rubber boots? Denmark can! We get a tiny glimpse of some golden jewellery as well. The two necklaces are from Dulong Fine Jewelry and Rebekka Notkin. The golden bracelet is rather new and still not identified. Maybe one day.

Project "Boss Ladies"

22 June 2022

Crown Princess Mary showed her support to the Boss Ladies project. A project developed to light up young females interest in the construction, civil engineering and installation industry.

Boss Ladies try to make a better environment for women on vocational training and in the companies' industries as well as developing new methods for retaining women in the various industries. The project is supported by Grundejernes Investeringsfond, STARK Fonden, Villum Fonden and Tietgen Fonden - and now they have the support by Crown Princess Mary as well.

She visited a construction side in Mjølnerparken being part of the Boss Ladies project. CEO Nina Groes and Chairman of the Board Jesper Arkil welcomed the Crown Princess and followed her around during her visit.

I am not sure if I absolutely love what she was wearing visiting Mjølnerparken or if I dislike everything about it. What was your first impression? I like all parts of her outfit - separately. But somehow, it got a little "tangled" up. Too much going on. The new Imperial Fashion blazer is incredible. Those details are great. Royal Fashion Police had it identified. Mary matched her new blazer with wide-legged trousers. To me, they are denim-like in fabric. What do you see? They are no yet found. The blouse is also new and are still to be identified. All ideas are welcomed.

Mary embraced the kinda loose style with golden jewellery from Dulong Fine Jewelry. Both her earrings and one of the bracelets are their design. The fine diamond ring on her right hand is from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. An absolute favourite of hers. She was then also wearing her old Cartier watch. Actually, it was her morning gift back in 2004. Since then, Mary has changed the strap multiple times. Now it looks brand new with that light brown leather strap.

Then sneakers. Again. We just saw her wear sneakers on the couple's trip to the Netherlands. Now she wore another pair when visiting Mjølnerparken. These are from Veja. Mary has worn them once before in 2021, when she visited Burkina Faso - more or less unofficial (here).

Day 2. Business promotion visit in the Netherlands

21 June 2022

It had already been a great first day in the Netherlands for the Crown Prince Couple the previous day. The royal couple are visiting the Netherlands as part of a business promotion visit. They are traveling along with a Danish business delegation to promote and work on green and more sustainable solutions.

Crown Princess Mary had a few places to go on her second (and last day). First she paid a visit to the Leiden University Medical Centre. She was given knowledge about how they use HealthTech and MedTech solutions in the Netherlands.

Later on, the Danish Minster of Health Magnus Heunicke and seven representatives Danish health companies accompanied the Crown Princess, when she visited a hospital working along with the children's hopsital Willem-Alexander KinderZiekenhuis - named after the King of course.

Before they joined each other for a perception hosted by the Danish ambassador in the Netherlands, Crown Princess Mary participated a sum up with the Danish business delegation of the City Hall in Delf.

Mary looked stunning in that reused Beulah London dress. It really fits her slim figure and enhance her silhouette. She wore the same dress at the grand opening of "Dronningens Ansigter" on occasion of Queen Margrethe's 80th birthday in 2020 (here). The simple half-do made a wonderful job showing all the best of her dress and beautiful face.

She decided to match the creamy coloured dress with plenty of accessories. That's what makes a dress like this great. It can be accessorized with so many different pieces of jewellery, bags and shoes. Mary wore white pearl earrings and a couple of bracelets created by Dulong Fine Jewelry. Even the huge diamond ring is their design. The larger golden bangle is crafted by Rebekka Notkin - another very talented jewellery designer. Last but not least, her magnificent diamond bracelet from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen.

During the day, Mary changed and added a few pieces of accessories. Like the smashing Max Mara leather handbag. She had a shoe-change from heeled python pumps from Gianvito Rossi to stylish (and rather new) sling-back flats from Chanel. Both pair of shoes are a lovely match with the rest of her outfit.

Day 1. Business promotion visit in the Netherlands

20 June 2022

BRIEFING

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary arrived a day ahead of the business promotion visit in the Netherlands. They arrived on June 19th in the evening. The couple then participated a short briefing on the visit. The Danish ambassador in the Netherlands Jarl Frijs-Madsen, Deputy Head of the Embassy Anne Ege Møller and the Danish Minister of Health Magnus Heunicke also attended the meeting.

The Crown Prince Couple travel with a larger business delegation from Denmark. The visit takes place from June 20-21st. In the Netherlands, the couple will both attend conferences, visit companies and represent Denmark at dinners.

During their visit, the royal couple stay at the royal official residence, where the King and Queen lives too.

We get a glimpse of Mary's outfit from the briefing. I have a hard time identifying what exactly she is wearing. To me it looks like a white blouse and some kind of navy blue blazer. What do you see? Both of them wore glasses. Think Frederik looks good with glasses too. Mary's are from FLEYE. The stunning diamond ring is a creation by Dulong Fine Jewelry. She also wore a golden bangle - a rather new addition to her wardrobe. It features "stars" with colourful stones in them.

DURING THE DAY

The Crown Prince Couple started a packed program with the attendance at the official opening of the business promotion visit. The opening took place at New Babylon Conference Centre.

Both Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary worked on their own during the day. For instance, the Crown Prince attended a business visit at Shell. Crown Princess Mary then attended the opening of the "HealthTech and MedTech" seminar. The Crown Princess also visited The Royal Academy of Art.

In the afternoon, the couple were gathered again, when they paid a visit to peace palace in Haag. They spend the rest of the day together, because the couple attended an official dinner in Grote Kerk.

Mary looked absolutely smashing in her all orange outfit! Don't you think that colour looks good on her? Can that woman really wear any colour? Obviously. I think it "suits" her very well. Did you get it ;) ? The suit is indeed incredible. Both blazer, trousers and the matching blouse are from Scanlan Theodore. Apparently, she purchased this set in Australia on her last visit. A private visit. She matched it was a brown leather belt from the same designer.

Her jewellery are just a wonderful. Many of the pieces are old, but one of them are actually new: her huge orange Dulong Fine Jewelry ring. Impressive how well it match in colour with the suit. She truly masters that. Along with the orange ring, Mary is wearing two diamond rings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. Rebekka Notkin and Dulong Fine Jewelry are the brands behind the two golden necklaces. Looks kind cool, right?

Dulong Fine Jewelry are also the master to have created that "wavy" golden bracelet and her other diamond ring. The Chanel handbag seems be have become one of her favourites at the moment. Looks perfect with the rest of her outfit. Especially, with the golden glitter pumps from Gianvito Rossi. Later on, Mary changed to a pair of brand new NIKE sneakers.

OFFICIAL DINNER

In the evening, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary attended a prestigious dinner in Grote Kerk - a church from 1300, which make it one of Haag's oldest buildings. Imagine a dinner in those surroundings. It must be magical.

King Willem-Alexander and his lovely wife Queen Maxima also attended the official dinner. Crown Princess Mary was seated next to King Willem-Alexander and Crown Prince Frederik enjoyed the company of Queen Maxima.

What I like the most of her evening outfit, has be to her hairstyle. I adore every single part of it. Hopefully, my hair will soon be long enough to create something similar. A hairstyle like this makes it possible to wear larger and a bit longer earrings, without hiding them. Mary had chosen a pair of Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen earrings with matching pendants.

Mary embraced the style with a couple of diamond bracelet, a golden one from Rebekka Notkin and a ring from Dulong Fine Jewelry. I am sure you noticed her wearing bright yellow Manolo Blahnik pumps, but did you see that she actually also wore a shiny yellow ring?

All the accessories looked smashing with the beautiful Temperley London dress and Sergio Rossi box clutch. The dress changed a bit (here). Now it is shorter and with black linen. When do you like it best?

Celebrating Princess Ingrid Alexandra of Norway

17 June 2022

Royal from all over were gathered in Oslo to celebrate the beautiful Princess Ingrid Alexandra of Norway on her 18th birthday. In Norway called the authority day. They day she becomes "an adult". Her birthday was celebrated with a prestiges, yet very personal, gala dinner at The Royal Castle in Oslo.

Among others, the Crown Princess Couple of Sweden attended, the Regal couple from the Netherlands and (of course) our beloved Crown Prince Couple of Denmark.

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary arrived along with all the other guests to celebrate the sweet Princess Ingrid Margrethe. We do not have that much from the dinner other than a few photos and and the princess' speech. Nevertheless, I bet they all had a wonderful and magical evening.

UFO No More Billed Bladet Royal Portraits Gallery

All of the guest were beautifully dressed for the dinner. Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden truly stunned we in her evening gown (here)! So did Princess Catharina-Amalia of Orange (here). Mary also looked great at the dinner. Honestly, I had hopes for a dress a bit more "overwhelming". She has so many gorgeous evening gowns perfect for the occasion. What do you think of her wearing that Charlotte Lynggaard dress? Go or no go? I am curious to hear what you think.

In my opinion, her accessories were spot-on. Mary had chosen her incredible "midnight tiara" designed and created by Charlotte Lynggaard from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. The tiara was part of a project and later exhibition. Mary loved it so much and now she has exclusive right to wear it. She matched her outfit with smashing diamond earrings found on auction. A great choice with that silver J. Furmani flap-clutch and glitter pumps from Gianvito Rossi. I see a diamond bracelet and a glimpse of a ring, but the photos are too blurry to identify them.

I would so much like to get a better look at her hair. It looks amazing from the front. Please, let me know if you happen to find one.

Visiting Haslev Idrætsefterskole

14 June 2022

I love these more "unofficial" visits. Her visit to Haslev Idrætsefterskole in Haslev was one of these events. The atmosphere was all relaxed and casual. The Crown Princess visited the school along with the Mary Foundation and on occasion of the Me&We project.

Me&We is developed for students at special school's were children live at the school while studying. This gives the children a more intimate schooltime and is ground for unique (and perhaps, closer) friendships. The project try to ensure a healthy environment amongst the students.

Crown Princess Mary - and the Mary Foundation, discussed both solitude, community and uncertainty with the school's students in a debate during her visit in relation to the Me&We project.

KongehusetBilled BladetBilled BladetBilled BladetGetty ImagesFrederik et Mary

Mary was truly down-on-earth. So was her outfit. I really want to try it myself. It looks both comfortable and chic at the same time. She matched an old linen blazer with a new dark blue blouse and jeans-like trousers from Britt Sisseck. The blazer was brand new in her wardrobe in 2020 (here). The trousers have only been worn at private occasions. Like, when she showed up on the Amalienborg Square on her 50th birthday (here).

She accessorized the look with only a few pieces of jewellery. This makes her outfit even more casual. Dulong Fine Jewelry is the creator of the golden hoop earrings a that rather large ring featuring a green stone. A closer look revealed to me that Mary was also wearing a pair of diamond rings by Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen.

Speaking about iconic designs. Those black/beige cap-toe shoes from Chanel are one of the most classic and iconic designs in history. Mary wore these for the very first time. It is slingback sandals. A really amazing addition to her shoes collection. What kind of sandals do you like to wear during summertime? I am old-fashioned wearing 40s/50s like sandals.

Business promotion visit in Norway

HIKING IN STAVANGER

The Crown Princess was about to attend a business conference in Oslo, Norway on June 10th. She arrived one day earlier and spend the time making a dream come true: hiking in Stavanger. Crown Princess Mary visited Preikestolen. It is a mountain plateau a wonderful nature. A perfect start for the following days conference.

In her social media post, Crown Princess Mary also expressed her sincere love for nature. How important it is that we take good care of it and do what we can to find as many sustainable solutions as possible.

Mary shared a little something from her hike at Preikestolen in Stavanger. We get a glimpse of her wearing a navy blue down-jacket and a few blouses to keep warm on her trip. I was able to identify on of the. It is from Under Armor. The model is pretty cool because it can be a bit more personal than their usual  blouses. This one can be personalized with a few words. It makes me wonder if it could be a gift (maybe from her children), who customized a blouse for her.

BUSINESS CONFERENCE

Crown Princess Mary arrived one day earlier. She spend the day in Stavanger visiting Preikestolen. On June 10th, she accompanied Crown Prince Haakon and his wife Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway at the business conference "The green, sustainable and climate-safe cities of the future". The conference took place at Oslo City Hall.

The conference was centered around the central role of cities in achieving the UN climate goals. Crown Princess Mary mentioned that in her opening speech too. She also made it clear that both Norway and Denmark har creative, innovative, ressources and capacity to lead the way to a more green and sustainable future.

Later on, the Crown Princess attended the conference "The robust healthcare system of the future in Norway and Denmark". It took place in Oslo Science City. Multiple representative from companies, students and professionals also participated the conference. Crown Princess Mary got the opportunity to speak to several of the Danish companies participating the conference.

Mary has always been a worldclass champion in wearing old clothes in a new way. She proved that one more time by wearing this white dotted Prada dress. It was first worn in 2021 in Paris (here). The model makes the very best out of her slim silhouette. The golden buttons are a great detail to a simple dress like this.

She embraced the light style with alle nude and golden accessories. The nude python pumps from Gianvito Rossi are an old-time favourite of hers. Mary has worn them (almost) a million time over the years. I wouldn't mind them in my wardrobe. Note, Gianvito Rossi shoes are super comfortable to wear, so I get why she loves them. The reused Chanel handbag is a classy and good-looking match to the rest of her outfit.

As jewellery, Mary had chosen a pair of brand new earrings created by Dulong Fine Jewelry, two rings and a golden bracelet from the same designer. I also see a diamond bracelet from Ole Lynggaard and (believe it or not) an all new golden bangle. It features the most amazing colourful stones. To me it looks like something inherited or perhaps purchased on auction.

OFFICIAL DINNER AT NASJONALMUSEUM

It had already been a wonderful day in Oslo. In the evening, the Crown Princess accompanied Queen Sonja, Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit at the official dinner marking the grand opening of Norway's new National Museum - the Nasjonalmuseum. It is the largest art museum in the Nordic countries with all its international art, design and architecture.

The three of them first visited part of an exhibition. Some of Queen Sonja and Queen Maud's dressed are on display. Then a fine dinner followed. This was the perfect ending on her business promotion visit in Norway.

Of course we understand why the world has gone crazy about Mary's (and Crown Princess Mette-Marit's) evening outfit. They both look absolutely splendid at the gala dinner. Mary wore her old custom-made Søren Le Schmidt evening gown. She embraced it beautifully with a red stone belt from Dolce & Gabbana. Something I would never have though would look good - but it does! Don't you think?

Once again, she managed to accessories her stunning look with great jewellery. Her hairdo revealed beauties created by Rebekka Notkin. She is also the designer of two of Mary's amazing bracelets. We get a glimpse of an Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen bangle as well. Mary wore that earlier on her visit. Dulong Fine Jewelry is the brand behind her huge diamond ring.

I am sure you all noticed the iconic Bottega Veneta clutch. It has been part of her wardrobe for years and it still looks perfect. The smashing golden pointed Manolo Blahnik pumps are also a really wonderful match with the golden jewellery.

Global Fashion Summit 2022

07 June 2022

Crown Princess Mary was invited as guest of honor to attend the opening of the Global Fashion Summit 2022. The summit took place in the Opera in Copenhagen. The Crown Princess gave the prestiges opening speech in her role af patron of the Global Fashion Summit and Global Fashion Agenda - which is the organization founding the summit.

More than 1,000 representatives from all over the fashion industry were gathered in the Opera along with Crown Princess Mary to discuss (among others) who to made the industry climate neutral in 2050. The representatives participated several panel debates - so did the Crown Princess. She was also given the opportunity to visit the Innovation Forum, which is part of the summit. The Innovation Forum gathers different companies working with, among other things, restoration of recycled clothing and environmentally friendly dyeing of clothing.

Mary stunned in a complete reused outfit. The printed Paul & Joe pleated midi skirt and that simple white Elise Gug blouse are indeed a wonderful combo. It look so well-balanced and summery. The colours of that Paul & Joe skirt is absolutely amazing. A really great outfit for a warmer day and a bit colder evening. How you style such a skirt?

Our beloved Mary embraced the style by wearing rather large white pearl earrings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. I truly hope that she will be able to bring back pearl earrings, because they are such a lovely piece in your wardrobe. I am soooo old-fashion, so I own multiple pairs of pearl earrings - and necklaces. We fairly get a glimpse of her diamond band from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen, but it is there.

She topped it of with smashing baby blue suede pumps from Gianvito Rossi. I would not mind having them in my collection. No that gorgeous leather handbag from Prada. Looks good with the Gucci glasses. So, is her outfit a go or no go? I love it!

Royal Run 2022

06 June 2022

Finally. What we have waited for in a very long time - the Royal Run 2022. Once again, Royal Run gathered more than 90,000 people. The Crown Prince family celebrated that a day ahead (on June 5th) with a post on social media. The photo says it all. They are delighted, happy and excited.

On Monday, both Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary kept us posted during the day on their experiences. The Crown Prince shared a few selfies. So did his wife.

Crown Prince Frederik joined runners in Aarhus, Aalborg and Copenhagen/Frederiksberg. Meanwhile, Crown Princess Mary started in her in Kolding and later joined the team in Næsteved. She ended up back in Copenhagen early evening.

Mary's "starter" look from the celebration-post, was a CRAFT's t-shirt. The blouse is given to all participants as part of them participating the run. Mary matched the chic green blouse with brand new running tights. So far, I have never been able to identify where they are from. Any ideas? Her dark green cap is a reuse from Cavelleria Toscana. She styled the sporty look with new trainers from Ascis. I still need to find the right model.

Royal Run took place in Aarhus, Aalborg, Kolding, Næstved and Copenhagen/Frederiksberg. Mary participated the run in Kolding and later Næsteved. When arriving to Kolding, she was dressed in her old Royal Run jacket, this years participants-blouse and reused NIKE running tights. She had received a gift from the Mayor of Kolding: her new running shorts from Fusion. Apparently, she mentioned their length being pretty short. During the run, Mary added a Kknekki hair tie and a beloved Under Armor cap. We get a glimpse of a golden Cartier bracelet. I have not been able to find the right model, but Mary's running shoes are from ASICS.

Back in Copenhagen, Mary changed to another pair or NIKE trousers. A model more relaxed and (probably) a bit more comfortable. She still wore the old Royal Run jacket from CRAFT. It was priceless to see her cheer up the participants with smiles, claps and high-fives.

The wedding of Prince Gustav and Carina Axelsson

03 June 2022

ARRIVAL & THE CIVIL WEDDING

Who is the lucky couple getting married? No-one else than Prince Gustav of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg and his beloved girlfriend of many years, Carina Axelsson. Both the Crown Prince Couple, Prince Joachim and Princess Marie stayed in Berleburg for a few days to attend the wedding.

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary arrived late afternoon on June 3rd. They were to attend the civil wedding of the couple at Schloss Berleburg some hours after they arrived to the castle, which is located in the German state of Nordrein-Westfalen.

Actually, the Crown Prince Couple played a very significant role in Prince Gustav and Carina Axelsson's civil wedding: they acted as witnesses.

Billed Bladet Billed Bladet Billed Bladet

Along with the information that the Crown Prince Couple acted witnesses, we also got a photo of the newlyweds and the Danish couple. Sometimes one photo is everything it takes. Sometimes it is simply not enough. This time, we got just enough to tell that Mary wore her outstanding spring dress from Zimmermann. Isn't it beautiful? She wears it for the third time. Mary first wore it in South Korea in 2019 (here). Then later that same year, at the confirmation of Princess Ingrid Alexandra of Norway (here). We like the dress, right?

We also get a glimpse of the accessories Mary had chosen to wear with the floral printed dress. The earrings I can't identify. I think it could be a pair of Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen creations, but I am NOT sure. That stunning golden bangle is from talented Rebekka Notkin and her rather large diamond ring is by Dulong Fine Jewelry. When first wearing the Zimmermann dress in South Korea, Mary matched it with the very same peep-toe pumps. Back then, they were identified as Prada but I have never been able to find the right model. But they are in fact from Prada.

THE ECCLESIASTICALLY WEDDING

The following day of the civil wedding, the couple celebrated one more time. Around 80 guests were invited to attend the ecclesiastical wedding of Prince Gustav and now, Princess Carina. The ceremony took place in the castle church at Schloss Berleburg, such as the following dinner

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary were here accompanied by Prince Joachim and Princess Marie.

We have very few photos from the wedding, but from what I have seen, I bet it was a magnificent and memorable day for all of them. Especially, the married coupled.

Royal Fashion Police Crown Princess Mary Elizabeth Crown Princess Mary Elizabeth

Indeed, we have only a couple of photos from the arrival of the castle church of the Danish royal family members. Of course, I wish we had just a few more photos because Mary looked so amazing in her printed Erdem dress. This is yet another reused dress from her wardrobe. She wore back in 2017 at the birthday dinner for the King and Queen of Norway (here).

Mary accessorized the lovely Erdem dress with her wedding tiara (clever choice) and morning gift (also a clever choice) for the occasion. Love that she wore something from her own wedding! A closer look revealed that she styled her outfit with a silver clutch from J. Furmani. We want more photos, right?! Wonderful match to the Dulong Fine Jewelry diamond ring.
