Day 3. Official visit to South Korea

22 May

During the day

Two days ago, the Crown Prince Couple arrived to Seoul in South Korea. For three days they have attended an official state visit with a business delegation. The visit focuses on Danish technology and quality products. In addition, the couple are also part of the 60th anniversary celebration of diplomatic relations between Denmark and South Korea.

On the third day in Seoul, Crown Princess Mary first visited Seoul National University Hospital. She was introduced to The Seoul Sunflower Centre - a project that works to create a safe environment for children in need. She then visited Jongno Children's Theater. The Danish theater group MishMash  made a performance about the Cultural Year 2019 between Denmark and South Korea called 'The Nose'.

After a business lunch with prominent Korean women, Crown Princess Mary attended the opening of a Fritz Hansen Showroom. It is the first flagship store in Seoul with focus on the famous Danish designer Poul Kjærholm. A few hours later she then attended the opening of another exhibition by Royal Copenhagen at K.O.N.G. Gallery. The Danish porcelain company made a brand new collection on occasion of Royal Copenhagen Korea's 25th anniversary. The collection is Flora Danica painted Korean wild flowers.

All day Mary was so comfortable - both in what she was wearing and her spirit. She was one big smile. On the third day in Seoul Mary was dressed in a reused Marc by Marc Jacobs dress. This is the third time we see her in the dress. It is best known from when she wore it in 2012 at the presentation of the Skt. Loye Award, here. Actually the dress was worn first time a year earlier on an official visit to Australia. Unfortunately pictures are hard to find. Its color has often been discused. Personally I still go with red, not orange. But I think it comes in different colors.

As shoes she had chosen a reuse pair of nude pointed pumps from Prada. Somehow I think these look very comfortable to wear. The leather looks really soft. Sometimes I wonder how she is able to wear heeled shoes as much as she does. We rarely see her wear other than pumps on official events. Nevertheless, she matched the shoes with a nude ostrich clutch from Naledi Copenhagen.

The earrings are old as well. Worn on a few other occasions. It has never been confirmed, but they are told to be a design by Dulong Fine Jewelry. That very same designer did in fact make four of her six worn bracelets. The other two is from Cartier and possibly Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen, here. A classy and really elegant outfit.

Exhibition

After a long day for both of them, they met at the opening of an Asger Jorn exhibition at the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Seoul. It is the first solo exhibition of Asger Jorn ever exhibited in Asia. As patron for the Danish and South Korean Cultural Year of 2019, the Crown Princess entered the stage and gave a speech on occasion of the opening.

A couple of hours later it was time for a dinner. The Crown Prince Couple attended a cultural dinner as part of the Cultural Year 2019 between Denmark and South Korea - a 60 years anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries. Both of them were in a splendid mood though it had been three really long days. Nevertheless, they smiled and had a wonderful time.

Personally, I think it has bee one amazing state visit. For sure I will keep it in mind for years. I am a little late with news from their trip, but better now than never, right? Thanks for following the couple going to Seoul with me. I wish for many more in the future.

When the couple visited South Korea for the first time in 2012, Mary was wore very colorful clothes. This time she was dressed a bit more in plain colors and silhouettes. Not bad at all. Attending the last events before going back to Denmark Mary showed up in a reused sustainable white dress made by David Andersen, here. It is the forth time she's wearing the dress. Though it's quite simple, it is covered with incredible details. I just realized that it has an open back. That is what good design is alla bout - discovering new details over and over again.

Mary always enjoyed golden jewellery. So did she on this trip. Especially at the opening of the Asger Jorn exhibition and the following dinner. The stunning earrings are from Rebekka Notkin. She first wore them not that long ago. I struggled trying to identify them. A friend of mine immediately recognized them as Rebekka Notkin. I then see one golden bangle from Cartier and four others bracelets from Dulong Fine Jewelry. Love that she is wearing all these different bracelets. Makes a great look, don't you think? I also noticed her golden ring as Dulong Fine Jewelry. The clutch is a design by Judith Leiber and the golden pumps are from Manolo Blahnik. A winner outfit.

Day 2. Official visit to South Korea

21 May

During the day

The Crown Prince Couple are on official state visit in Seoul, South Korea from May 20-22nd. They arrived a day earlier where they were welcomed by South Korea's Presidential couple.

Tuesday morning, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary attended the grand opening of the business conference 'Connecting futures' taking place at Shilla Hotel. Following the Crown Prince attended the opening of a Design Lounge. Meanwhile his wife attended a food seminar at Shila Hotel. Both of them were in a great mood. All smiles and vivid eyes. Around noon the royal couple had lunch with Danish- and Korean company delegates.

During the rest of the day, the couple attended several different events among others a seminar on healthcare, the opening of an exhibition about Hans-Christian Andersen, and a launch for Leo Pharma Innovation Platform. Crown Princess Mary also attended the launch of Steinway Lyngdorf Sound Boutique - the world's first showroom where customers can experience the result of a new combination of sound and image made in collaboration between Steinway Lyngdorf and Samsung.

I had no idea what to exact from her. Maybe something a little more colorful. But that is far from what Mary wore on Tuesday in Seoul. She showed up in a reused creamy white suit from Max Mara. It comes with both blazer, vest and trousers. Really classy and super chic. She looks so comfortable in this suit. That is what I think is most important - to wear something that makes you feel comfortable and good about yourself.

It is all about the accessories. Her clothes are plain and simple, while the jewellery and other accessories are way more playful. Once again my eyes are stuck to the golden necklace featuring green beads. I still try to find out where it is from, but so far I got no idea. But I know that her golden earrings are from the Danish designer Dulong Fine Jewelry. This designer has also created three of Mary's four bracelets worn on Tuesday. The fourth one is a golden bangle from Cartier.

She was also wearing two Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen diamond rings and a third one featuring a white pearl. Love this combo of rings. I am sure the bamboo clutch also caught your eyes. Actually it is not new. She first wore it at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in 2016, here. I've still got no clue where it is from. I was kinda surprise to see what Mary had chosen to wear an old pair of Jimmy Choo pumps. In the old days she wore them quite a lot, but not lately.

Evening dinner

After a long day with both launches, exhibitions and visits the Crown Prince Couple attended the Grand Dinner as guests of honor. Representatives from both the Danish and South Korean business delegation were initiated to the dinner along with Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary. The Crown Prince Couple welcomed all guests one by one with a handshake and a few words. Crown Prince Frederik gave a speech later that evening as part of the dinner.

Both of them seemed excited, but maybe also a bit exhausted. It had been a long day. I imagine it being quite a challenge to keep the spirit all day like the couple need to during these official visits. Nevertheless, it looked like everybody was having a great time.

Mary wore the most incredible floral dress - a dream, at the Grand Dinner in Seuol. The dress features such a lovely prints of flowers and a laser cut pattern. Stunning details. I see something new each time I look at it. I just discovered that beautiful neckline. Heaven managed to identify the dress as Zimmermann. Mary got one dress from that designers in another lovely print. So far it is the first new pieces of clothes she has worn on this trip. I am all crazy about the dress, well the complete outfit makes me happy.

She embraced the style with brand new peep-toe pumps from Prada. The color match the dress really beautifully. I have not been able to find the right model yet, but I am still looking. Let me know if you find them before me. The pumps features Prada's golden logo, which is why we know where to find them. Prada is also the designer of her embellished clutch. As other accessories Mary had chosen ruby earrings inherited from Queen Ingrid. They are part of the old ruby parure. Three of her bracelets are from Dulong Fine Jewelry; a fourth one is a golden Cartier bangle and the last diamond bracelets could be from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen, here.

Maybe you noticed the ruby ring on her finger as well. She first wore it in 2011 on an official visit to Australia, here. Two years later she wore it again in Mexico, here. The story goes that it is an old brooch from Queen Alexandrine - married to King Christian X of Denmark, here.

Day 1. Official visit to South Korea

20 May

Quite a while ago, it was announced that the Crown Prince Couple were going to Seoul in South Korea on an official state visit in May. That is now. I have really been looking forward to this state visit for a long time. Think we need a good old state visit. The couple are in Seoul from May 20-22nd.

During the day

On Monday, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary were welcomed by South Korea's Presidential couple at the Presidential Blue House. It was a warm welcoming. To me it seems like both couple's had been looking forward to meet.

Later in the afternoon, the Danish royal couple visited the demilitarized zone between North- and South Korea. Back in 2012 the couple also payed a visit to the zone, here. They met with Danish emissaries at the United Nations Command who, among others, talked about the current situation between the two countries. The couple also visited the Dora Observatory to attend the opening of a new art installation created bt SUPERFLEX - a Danish artist group.

The visit in Seoul focuses on Danish technology and quality products. That is why the Crown Prince Couple, the following tree days will visit places, organisations, etc. in South Korea. Visiting Seoul also mark the 60th anniversary of diplomatic collaborations between Denmark and South Korea, which of course will be celebrated.

I clearly remember all outfits Mary wore in 2012, when the couple visited South Korea. Back then she wore lots of light and bright colors and prints. That's not exactly what showed this time. At the welcoming she wore one of her old blue Vionnet dresses. It was been seen on several different occasions before going to Seoul. A really beautiful dress that features a cape matching both dress and color. What also perfectly matched the outfit is her bright blue quality clutch from Quidam. Amazing how to pieces match this perfectly.

Mary then embraced the style by wearing snakeskin pumps from Gianvito Rossi. I rarely see someone wear snakeskin pumps as beautifully as she does. Often she wears them with a plain dress or trousers, and it looks great. As accessories I see a rather large beaded brooch. It is not new. I have never been able to identify it, but she often wears it with this dress. The white pearl earrings and matching bracelet are from the Danish designer Dulong Fine Jewelry. Two other bracelets are from the same designer, and the last one is Cartier. Mary also wore two stunning golden rings. The simple one is also Dulong Fine Jewelry; the other one features a white pearl. I still wonder if these two rings are created by the same designer? During the day a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses protected her eyes against a warm sun.

Dinner

About an hour before dinner time, the Crown Prince Couple payed a visit to South Korea' Prime Minister.

The visit was followed by an official dinner by the Prime Minister taking place at his residens. Both Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary showed up in a splendid mood. Especially the Crown Prince seemed excited about meeting Lee Nak-yon, the Prime Minister.

Mary was dressed beautifully in an old floral dream from Burberry. I've loved it from first sight when she wore it at the 100th anniversary for women's voting rights in 2015, here. Back then I think some of you was not as excited as I was. I am thrilled she chose this one for the evening event with South Korea's Prime Minister. What do you think? Happy to see the dress again. She looked just graceful.

Mary carried her power pink Bottega Veneta clutch and velvet Gianvito Rossi pumps. So did she in 2017 when attending a dinner on occasion of Copenhagen Fashion Summit that year, here. A stunning combination of colors, materials and silhouettes. I like the fact that both dress, shoes, clutch and jewellery all matched in color. That's the way to do it.

If you take a closer look, you find that she actually wore quite a lot of jewellery as well. First thing notable is the earrings. Worn before, but never identified. The same goes with the one bracelets featuring colored stones. Her two others golden bracelets are from Cartier and Dulong Fine Jewelry. The last one is also Dulong Fine Jewelry. Besides that Mary had chosen diamond rings from among others Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. A really magnificent outfit of hers topped off with a beautiful hairstyle.

Copenhagen Fashion Summit 2019: celebration dinner

16 May

Earlier that day, the Crown Princess attended the conference Copenhagen Fashion Summit 2019. She participated as patron for the Global Fashion Agenda along with CEO Eva Kruse, here

In the evening, Crown Princess Mary arrived to Langelinje Pavilion in Copenhagen to attend a celebration dinner on occasion of the conference. Once again she was accompanied by Eva Kruse. At the arrival Crown Princess Mary was in a really great mood. She was all smiles. Seems like it has been a couple of wonderful days with lots of new initiatives, innovation and discussing what need to be done to make the fashion industry more sustainable in the future.

Copenhagen Fashion Summit is an international conference gathering different actors, advocates and companies in Copenhagen to focus on a more sustainable fashion industry.

This is the final night for Mary to shine on occasion of the conference. And she did. All the other days Eva Kruse was the one wearing white. On Thursday evening Mary had chosen to wear a white blazer fra Max Mara. Originally it is part of her white suit, here. Amazing how different it looks worn with a dress for an evening event. Don't you think?

Honestly I have not been that positively surprised about her last couple of outfits. But this is exactly what I expected from her. I am not quite sure about the dress, but to me it looks like one of her old Ralph Lauren gowns - just altered. The dress I am talking about was first worn in 2010 at a pre-wedding dinner on occasion of Crown Princess Victoria and Daniel Westling's wedding, here. Then two years later Mary wore it for another dinner, here. What do you think? Is she in fact wearing her old Lauren dress.

She embraced the style by wearing old Cenius & Bach earrings and her golden necklace featuring green beads. These are the earrings wearing her logo. They are also suppose to have a blue stone attached somewhere to symbolize her blue, royal blood. A pair of symbolic earrings. To match the dress is a Hugo Boss suede clutch and chic pointed pumps in a similar color.

Copenhagen Fashion Summit 2019

16 May

On Wednesday, Crown Princess Mary attended the official opening of Copenhagen Fashion Summit 2019 taking place in DR Concert House, here. The following day she, once again, arrived to DR Concert House to attend the conference.

Copenhagen Fashion Summit is an international conference with focus on sustainable fashion. The two-day conference was first held in 2009 - now ten years ago. It is a patron of Global Fashion Agenda that the Crown Princess participate the conference each year taking place in Copenhagen.

Once again she was accompanied by Eva Kruse, CEO for the Global Fashion Agenda. The two women has met on several occasions both in Denmark and abroad. This time they met in Copenhagen  for the summit. The Crown Princess was given a guided tour to hear about some of the participating companies sustainable solutions. Among others she visited Innovation Forum. She also attended the Youth Fashion Summit. Here 80 students presented "demands" to the fashion industry.

Her outfit at the opening yesterday confusted me a bit. I was a huge fan of that new printed Hennes & Mauritz dress. On Thursday she showed up wearing something a bit more "Mary". She had chosen one of her good old creamy white skirts from DAY Birger et Mikkelsen. It has been worn on several occasions styled with different blouses. This time Mary wore the skirt with a dark green v-neck blouse from Selected Femme. The style is simple and edgy. She embraced the chic style by wearing a thin Balenciaga belt and matching leather pumps from Valentino. Clever of her to colormatch blouse and pumps. That green color is just great. Don't you think?

The previous days, Mary has not worn that many jewellery. On Thursdays her jewelry were quite more eye-catching. Those pendant earrings are from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. First seen when she attended the opening of 'Fashioned from Nature' on April 12th, here. They are a mix of several different styles, but it has been confirmed that Lynggaard Copenhagen is in fact the designers. This brand also made her golden chain bracelet.

The other bracelets are from Cartier and Dulong Fine Jewelry. Maybe you also noticed her wearing two rings - beside her engangment ring and weeding ring. This combo of a diamond band and a white pearl ring seems to be a favourite right now. We have seen her wear it quite a few times now. The simple golden one is from Dulong Fine Jewelry and I still wonder if the white pearl ring is also their design.

Opening of Copenhagen Fashion Summit 2019

Wednesday, May 15th

The previous day the Crown Princess hosted a dinner at Amalienborg on occasion of Copenhagen Fashion Summit 2019, here. The following day it was time for her to attend the official opening of the two-day conference. Copenhagen Fashion Summit goes ten years back to 2009 and is a international conference held in Copenhagen each year focusing on sustainable fashion.

Crown Princess Mary attended the opening as patron for Global Fashion Agenda. This year the conference took place in DR Concert House in Copenhagen. She arrived in a splendid mood accompanied by Eva Kruse, CEO for Global Fashion Agenda. The two of them also met the previous day on Amalienborg. As part of the opening the Crown Princess entered the stage and gave a speech about among others responsibility and how to make a better future with innovative sustainability.

Dinner about sustainable fashion

14 May

There was not much time left to celebrate a 15th wedding anniversary, because from early morning Crown Princess Mary was attending Axcel's Company Day, here. In the evening she hosted a dinner for actors working for more sustainable fashion, here

The dinner took place on occasion of Copenhagen Fashion Summit. The Crown Princess hosted the event as patron of the Global Fashion Agenda with Eva Kruse as CEO. She also attended the dinner with among others hostess of Copenhagen Fashion Summit, Gemma Cairney. Guests from both national and international fashion companies were invited to Amalienborg that evening.

Before the dinner was to take place, Crown Princess Mary was photographed along with Eva Kruse (CEO for the Global Fashion Agenda) and Niels Eskildsen (Chairman of the Global Fashion Agenda).

Meanwhile, Eva Kruse stunned in a simple white dress and matching golden accessories, then Mary surprised me in a reused ArtFusion Copenhagen dress. She first wore it last year when attending 'Future of Fashion' - an event organized by Design School Kolding and the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts Design School, here. At that time she belted the dress with a rather large leather belt. On Tuesday evening Mary had chosen yet another belt. A smaller silver belt. Pretty sure we have seen it before on a previous occasion.

The earrings have also been seen before. Now and then they varies in length. She wore them, among others, presenting the Carlsberg Research Awards 2015, here. Then again in 2017 at the same event, here. In 2016 Mary wore them shortened, here. Beautiful earrings for a beautiful outfit.

Axcel's Company Day 2019

14 May

In many ways it was a special day on Tuesday, when the Crown Princess attended Axcel's Company Day 2019. She celebrated her 15th wedding anniversary doing what she does best: being an advocate and representative for the Danish royal house. Congratulations to the lovely couple.

Around noon, the Crown Princess arrived to Docken to attend the aforementioned arrangement. This year Company Day celebrate its 20th anniversary. Company Day is arranged by the think tank Axcelfuture and is an investment for the benefit of the Danish society.

Right from the beginning, Crown Princess Mary was in a splendid mood. She was welcomed with great smiles, flowers and handshakes. Shortly after arrival she entered the stage af gave a speech. She was one big smile giving her speak as part of the conference. This year's conference goes under the theme 'The Business of Al'.

Mary looked absolutely great attending the Compay Day event at Docken in Copenhagen Tuesday noon. She was beautifully dressed in a bright red belted Dolce & Gabbana dress. She has previously been seen wearing the dress matched by that stunning red tweed jacket from YDE Copenhagen, here. Then and now are quite alike. I wish one day to own a red dress like hers. The colour is all perfect. Personally I love to wear red, but it has to be the right shade. This is it. Mary looks just magnificent.

She accessorized the outfit with both bracelets from Cartier and Dulong Fine Jewelry. All reused pieces, but not out of style. Basically, what is ever out of style? Trends keep coming back and Mary beautifully shows how to wear pieces for more than two weeks. Like the Nadia Shelbaya necklace with the emerald beads. To me it looks like she's wearing a hairclip as well. I can't tell if we have seen it before, because I need a close up. The clutch is created by Naledi Copenhagen and those edgy red suede pumps are Gianvito Rossi design (please be mine one day!).

The Crown Princess Mary Scholarship 2019

13 May

For more than fifteen years, the Crown Princess has handed over The Crown Princess Mary Scholarship to two Australian exchange students studying in Denmark. The Scholarship was a gift from University of Copenhagen to the Crown Prince Couple on behalf of their weeding back in 2004.

Around noon, Crown Princess Mary arrived to the university in Copenhagen. She was warmly welcomed with flowers, smiles and handshakes. Rector Henrik C. Wegener welcomed the Crown Princess along with a 5-year old flower girl.

She gave a wonderful speech before presenting this years receivers of the scholarship. It made everyone laugh also the receivers Lloyd John Peacock Duncan from Monash University and She Pui Ng from University of Queensland. Congratulations to both of them with the scholarship and DKK 10,000.

Every year, I am excited to see what Mary will wear this specific day. I do not know what I had in mind for her this year, but I was happily surprised to see her wear this reused Massimo Dutti suit. I have always been a fan of suits for women. It's edgy, classy and super cool. Mary really know how to wear one. She first wore the suit two years ago when visiting Japan on an official state visit, here. Back then she also matched it with a white blouse and Gianvito Rossi snake pumps. The white blouse worn on Monday is from Hugo Boss.

The beautiful earrings are created by Dulong Fine Jewelry. Lately she has worn them quite a few times, such as with the necklace from Nadia Shelbaya. The two rings have been a mystery for me for quite some time now. I figured that the simple golden one is from Dulong Fine Jewelry. Maybe the white pearl ring is also from that talented designer?

Some of you noticed her clutch as well. Mary first wore the clutch at the United Nations Genereal Assembly in New York back in 2017, here. I managed identity it as a Diane von Furstenberg design. The clutch is made of blush pink and creme leather with burgundy leather trim.

Inauguration of Hospice Vangen and a visit to...

09 May

It was a big day for residences of the old Kamilinaer Gaardens Hospice in Aalborg. Crown Princess Mary was about to arrive to officially open the new Hospice Vangen with room for fifteen terminal patientens. One of them is Lily Jensen, whom the Crown Princess visited in her room in the new hospice later on.

The Crown Princess Mary warmly welcomed with lots of smiles, flowers and a little chat. She then cut the red ribbon as part of the official opening. Afterwards the Crown Princes was given a guided tour around the new facilities to see it for herself. This is when Lily Hansen had a talk with her about the new place in Aalborg.

Later on, she arrived to the Christmas Seal Home in Hobro to celebrate its 80th anniversary. All the home's children welcomed her with smiles, flags and flowers. I imagine it being a wonderful experience for the children to meet the Crown Princess in person. They celebrate the anniversary with sining, speeches and of course a game of tennis. She was also given a tour around the facilities, where some of children has the chance to meet the Crown Princess and tell their story about their stay.

During her day, Mary was beautifully dressed in a mix of good old pieces. She matched one of her reused Baum und Pferdgarten midi skirts with a purple Ted Baker blouse. It is the third time we see her in the dotted skirt. First time was at the FEI Championship in 2016, here. Then again at the inauguration of a language center in 2017, here and then when she was interviewed for Ud & Se later that yearhere. Every time she has worn it with a white blouse, but this time was different. And I love it. She rocked that outfit. The navy blue coat is also worn before.

Mary embraced the style with stunning accessories. The Dulong Fine Jewelry earrings seems to be one of her favourite items at the moment. I also noticed two rings on her right hand. One looks like a diamond band, which has been found at Dulong Fine Jewelry, and the other embraces a white pearl. Makes me wonder if the white pearl ring is also their design? The golde bracelet is from Cartier. Last but not least, she stunned in bicolor pumps from Prada.

When attending the 80th anniversary, Mary had a little change from Prada pumps to white Nike sneakers. And from her old navy blue coat to a blue down jacket. I don't know what you think, but it makes me wanna wear my midi skirts with sneakers. Makes a great example of how to wear something a bit more feminine with something sports chic. It is all about having fun, right?

Annual meeting with the Mary Foundation

08 May

Crown Princess Mary hosted an annual meeting with all collaborators and partners of the Mary Foundation on Wednesday taking place at Frederik VIIIs Palace at Amalienborg. The meeting made room for discussing results and future plans for the foundation and its partners, here.

Among others the Crown Princess thanked the presidum for their support to combat social isolation. She pointed out that it all starts with a good conversations. Problems aren't solved within a moment; it takes time, but results shows that is matters.

Mary looked great in a spring colored outfit at the meeting. She had chosen to wear one of her old white Alexander McQueen blazers. It was first worn in 2015 when she and Princess Isabella visited Samsø, here. In 2015 she matched the blazer with a powder pink Marni blouse. So did she this time. Lovely colors, don't you think? Makes me want summer even more now. With black fitted trousers Mary embraced the rest of the look.

The matching earrings are from Dulong Fine Jewelry, just as two of her bracelets are. This year these earrings celebrate 10 years of anniversary as part of Mary's wardrobe. Her stunning diamond ring is also a Dulong Fine Jewelry creation. Cartier designed her third bracelet worn at the meeting. I simply adore the combination of jewellery. Looks fresh and modern at the same. I have come to love that necklace quite a lot. It is from Nadia Shelbaya. What better than embracing this chic business-look with a pair of snakeskin pumps. That's what Mary did. I want to try this outfit myself one day.

A Women Deliver event

07 May

Crown Princess Mary arrived to Eigtved Pakhus in Copenhagen to attend a Danish-Canadian event on occasion of the Women Deliver Conference 2019. She was in a splendid mood at the arrival. One big smile. With handshakes and warm words the Crown Princess was welcomed.

Women Deliver is an international conference with focus on girls and women's rights and health. Crown Princess Mary has been patron for Women Deliver for four years now. She even hosted the conference when it took place in Copenhagen a few years back.

At the Danish-Canadian event in Copenhagen the Crown Princess quickly entered the stage in front of all the others attendances and gave a serious, but also funny speech. Among others she announced that the Women Deliver Conference 2019 is about to take place in Vancouver, Canada about a month from now. I am excited to follow and cover the conference with all of you.

Kongehuset ● Frederik et MaryPPE AgencyBilled Bladet

At the kinda preparing event for the Women Deliver Conference 2019, Mary showed up wearing a reused figure-hugging blue dress. Think it is the fourth time we see her in this stunning dress, but I have never been able to identify where it's from. Do you have an idea where to find her lovely dress? She looks so gorgeous. I can't get enough of this dress. Since the first time she wore it, I wanted to find it. It hasn't happened yet.

Mary accessorized her look by wearing an old neutral handbag from Prada. She has the same model in blue and red - if I'm correct. The handbag perfectly matched that nude patent leather pointed pumps from Pura Lopez, only worn on one previous occasion in 2017, here. Looks beautiful on her foot.

Mary also embraced the style with multiple stunning pieces of jewellery. A black pearl bracelet and a golden one from Dulong Fine Jewelry and a matching ring from the same designer. Cartier is the creator of her third one. It also looks like she is wearing a pair of diamond earrings and her Nadia Shelbaya necklace.

UNFPA's State of World Population Report 2019

06 May

On Monday, Crown Princess Mary arrived to Gefion Gymnasium in Copenhagen to attend the presentation of UNPFA's State of World Population Report. She was warmly welcomed by Danish Minister of Development, Ulla Tørnæs and Rector, Birgitte Vedersø. With flowers, smiles and handshakes the Crown Princess arrived to Gefion Gymnasium.

The State of World Population Report is an annual occasion hosted by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). What makes the report notable, is its attention to focus on development and trends in the world population.

Crown Princess Mary has been involved in the work of the United Nations Population Fund for quite some years. She has attended the presentation of their State of World Population Report both in 2013, here, 2014, here, 2016, here and 2017, here. Her attending was a huge success. Both students and other attendances loved her.

Attending the presentation of this years repost, Mary was simple dressed in a black suit. The blazer goes a few years back and found then found at Zara. I can't tell anything about the trousers, you probably get why. Once again she embraced the style by wearing one of her pleated Hugo Boss (collection: BOSS) blouses. Looks just great with the edgy suit. She even belted the outfit with an old Céline piece. It goes back to at least 2005.

To make the perfect looks, Mary accessorized her outfit with reused Dulong Fine Jewelry earrings featuring drop shaped rose quartz pendants. I also see diamond rings from among others Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. Once again she wore a simple necklace with green beads from Nadia Shelbaya.

Mary then wore a black quality leather clutch from Quidam and expensive rivet pumps from Valentino. Simple, chic and good-looking.

Anniversary party at DTU

03 May

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary arrived to Lyngby to attend the anniversary party at DTU (Technical University of Denmark). The royal couple were warmly welcomed by Chairman of the Board, Per Falholt and Rector, Anders O. Bjarklev.

DTU is leading in developing and using science and technical science for the benefit of society. Every year the university hand over Julius Thomsens golden medal to honor and promote engineering research.

The Crown Prince Couple watched the presentation of this years winners and had the chance to congratulate all of them afterwards. Ib Chorkendorff was given Julius Thomsens golden medal. This Year's Students Startup was given to 'Paragit Sleeve' - a product that helps diagnose Parkinson's patients. More than 1,400 students and employees attended the ceremony and following party.

Before any pictures were published, I had a guess that she would be wearing a mid-length - either a skirt or dress. I was right. Mary wore her old floral Prada skirt, first worn at the Danish Music Conservatory's Children's Choirs Christmas concert, here. At the anniversary party in Lyngby she matched the skirt with a simple Alexander McQueen blazer and black blouse. The blouse is still a mystery to me.

What surprised me most is the earrings. A pair of purple amethyst earrings created by Dulong Fine Jewelry. They go back to at least 2005, maybe even before. Amazing to see how fashion lever goes out of style. Even a pair of earrings looks great 10-15 years later. Mary also flashed a brand new golden brooch featuring a purple stone matching the earrings. So far, I do not know a thing about this new piece.

When it comes to her other accessories - black pointed pumps and a clutch, we already know that the pumps are from Gianvito Rossi and the clutch is a Carlend Copenhagen design. One classy outfit.

Celebrating Princess Benedikte

29 April

In the morning, Crown Princess Mary visited WHO's Regional Office of Europe in the UN-City in Copenhagen. She payed a visit to the organisation as patron. As part of the visit Crown Princess Mary was briefed about WHO's ongoing activities to improve healthcare and livingstandards, here.

On occasion of Princess Benedikte's 75th birthday, a dinner was held at Amalienborg. Queen Margrethe hosted the dinner, where family and friends were invited. Among the guests were Queen Anne-Marie, Princess Alexandra, Princess Nathalie and the Crown Prince Couple.

Both Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary were in a splendid mood, as the Queen and birthday girl were. They were all smiles and happy eyes.

Let us wish Princess Benedikte a happy birthday and congratulate her on behalf of her big day. On occasion of her 75th birthday Princess Benedikte also published a new book and opened an exhibition at Koldinghus in Kolding.

Princess Benedikte dazzled in an eye-catching gown with a slim silhouette. Queen Margrethe matched her sister wearing a purple gown covered in black lace. Meanwhile Mary stunned in a navy blue evening gown created by Lasse Spangenberg Copenhagen back in 2018. The dress was first worn at an Honorary Dinner taking place at Fredensborg Castle, here. At that time everybody talked about her dress. So did we this time. It is a dress that impresses the eye who see it. We also did get a better look at it. That beautiful lace top still amazes me. Because of that incredible hairdo; the lace top looks its best.

Mary embraced the style by wearing matching silk pointed pumps from Gianvito Rossi and a reused Prada clutch. Both pieces are in a similar blue color as the magnificent gown. She first wore the smashing blue silk pumps at a 50th birthday party at Tranekær Castle, here. The shoes was also worn at a dinner in Japan in 2017, here.

As other accessories she had chosen earrings, a bracelet and her ring from the ruby parure - inherited from Queen Ingrid. As you know the ring was made later on by Dulong Fine Jewelry to match the rest of the parure. The golden bangle is her love bracelet from Cartier.
