Meeting with the President of the European Court of Human Rights

03 December

We have now entered December, which means that Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary will meet with the President of the European Court of Human Rights Róbert Spanó due to his visit in Denmark. He was accompanied by vice president Jon Fridrik Kjølbro.

The meeting took place at Amalienborg in Copenhagen. Danish Minister of Justice Nick Hækkerup also attended the gathering.

A few photos were taken at the arrival of the President of the European Court of Human Rights.

Even though, she was dressed ultra simple in a blue blouse and grey trousers I really love every single part of it. The colors match with such perfection. Mary first wore the Jesper Høvring x Great Greenland blouse in 2016 at a Christmas reception with the Mary Foundation, here. "Originally" it comes with burgundy trousers, but this time she styled it with grey reused Celine trousers. I like that. The black leather belt is still a mystery to me.

We also get a glimpse of what I believe is her black ankle boots from Gianvito Rossi. She loves wearing them with wide-legged trousers like these. A closer look revealed that she also wore her beloved Sophie Bille Brahe earrings. I cannot get enough of this outfit!

Presentation of Hjerteforeningen's and Børnehjertefondens Research Grants 2021

09 November

As patron of more than 30 foundations, organizations, etc. Crown Princess Mary is differently a passioned and busy woman. Two of her patronages are Hjerteforeningen and Børnehjertefonden. So, when the two of them has arranged the presentation of Hjerteforeningen's and Børnehjertefondens Research Grants 2021, Crown Princess Mary also attended the event.

It took place at prestiges Hotel d'Angleterre in Copenhagen. For many years, the Crown Princess has taken part in the presentation of the Research Grants honoring promising projects in the field of cardiovascular disease research.

The Crown Princess Mary warmly welcomed by ambassador for Hjerteforeningen Birthe Kjær. She is a famous Danish singer. On occasion of the presentation, Crown Princess Mary held a speech and thanked all those who have contributed to make it possible throughout the years.

Later, she handed over three research grants. They were given to Professor Henning Bundgaard from Rigshospitalet, assistent professor Per Agger from Aarhus University Hospital and PhD student Flemming Javier Olsen from Herlev and Gentofte Hospital.

What a beautiful outfit Mary wore at the presentation of Hjerteforeningen's and Børnehjertefondens Research Grants 2021, which took place at Hotel d'Angleterre in Copenhagen. She had chosen one of her old beloved black jackets from WILLOW and a burgundy tweed skirt from Alexander McQueen. A really lovely match to honor autumn.

Mary embraced the look with her golden Cartier bracelet and Sophie Bille Brahe diamond earrings. I have never been that crazy about these earrings, but it seems like Mary is a true fan. She has worn them so many times already and I think she will continue that tendency. The stunning golden leaf brooch is a vintage Emmons brooch. I have a golden leaf brooch myself and they are just great for November-outfits. Do you like wearing brooches? Mary also wore a magnificent oval ring featuring a dark purple stone from Dulong Fine Jewelry. It is unique ring from their Pacific collection (here).

The black Celine belt is also an old goodie. Highly loved by her. Mary master these thin belts with such elegance. It matched her black leather clutch from Quidam and those Gianvito Rossi pumps perfectly.

Visiting UNESCO ASP School & a youth public meeting

18th November

For many years, the Crown Princess has been committed to do what she can to make the world a better place. A job like that takes might be overwhelming to some and probably also the Danish Crown Princess, but that thought seems to light up her spirit even more.

On Wednesday, Crown Princess Mary payed a visit to one of UNESCO's ASP schools: Roskilde Gymnasium. These school are being part of the global UNESCO Associated Schools Project Network. It gathers around 11,500 schools and institutions of education in more than 182 countries around the world. This impressive project is all about developing a teaching that supports the UN's world goals - something the Crown Princess has been truly committed to help fulfill.

She was warmly welcomed with both smiles and flowers, when she arrived to Roskilde Gymnasium. The students were in the middle of several different workshops. They gladly shared their thoughts and experiences with her. Especially, the UN's future role in achieving the world goals was in everybody's interest. The Crown Princess listened with great interested and participated the debate as well.

In the afternoon, she participated in a meeting with the Youth Public Meeting at ALICE cph in Copenhagen. Due to the worldspreding pandemic things have been a bit different for quite some time. It has also forced us to think alternative solutions and be creative on how we meet. Therefor the meeting was a live stream.

The Youth Public Meeting is a democracy festival. It aim to create both create desire and courage among young people to be part of the democracy debate. Crown Princess Mary showed her suppose with, among others, a speech. It was broadcasted live to all youth educations in Denmark. I guess it was inspiring watching the Crown Princess speak from your classroom.

Think we saw a casual and really well-dressed Crown Princess. Not much changed from one event to the other. Actually, she only added her old beloved Bottega Veneta handbag to complete the outfit, when participating the live stream at ALICE cph. Lately, we have seen so many incredible looks. She especially impressed me with her outfit at the presentation of the Magasin du Nord Fashion Prize, here, and when she attended the 20th anniversary conference with Children, Youth & Grief, here. The colors were absolutely magnificent.

When visiting Roskilde Gymnasium and later on attending the Youth Public Meeting, Mary had chosen a more simple outfit, but only when it comes to colors. She matched a reused Shrimps blouse with a pair of stunning Céline trousers and her black Prada coat. Simple, but it works! What is great about these more casual looks, is the chance to spice it up with eye-catching accessories. First I noticed the black belt. We have seen it before, but I still do not know where it is from - and it bothers me.

A closer look revealed that she was also wearing smashing pieces of jewellery. The diamond earrings are from Sophie Bille Brahe. I see three different bracelets: one from Cartier and two golden ones from Dulong Fine Jewelry. Classy creations that seems to be favorites of hers at the moment. With some detective work, I finally found a picture that show her ring. It is her beautiful Dulong Fine Jewelry ring with the green stone and diamonds. Rather new.

Something that is not new, is the black ankle boots. I assumed they were new, but I was wrong. They are old Pura Lopez boots. We have only seen her were these beauties once in public and that was when she was on her way to a private event. It was in 2013, when attending a private hunting dinner at Amalienborg. Unfortunately, I was only able to find one picture from the event and it does not show her shoes, but still you get a glimpse of how she style them boots once, here.

Opening of the Danish Parliament 2020

6th October

We have seen her quite a lot lately, last, when she attended the Danish Rainbow Awards show, here. But she also have had time for sparetime activities. For instance on October 4th, she participated another dressage at Helsegård Sportsrideklub, here. The Crown Princess was accompanied by her husband, who watched his wife win her very first debut in MB2.

Today, Crown Princess Mary was dressed up for a completely different event: the opening of the Parliament. An event that takes place each year on the first Tuesday in October. The opening mark the beginning of a new year for the Parliament.

In correct order, Princess Benedikte arrived first. Then Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary arrived to Christiansborg and then Queen Margrethe. All four of them seemed in a special good mood. As usually, they followed the opening closely from the balcony in the Parliament Hall.

The weather changes all the time in Denmark right now. One minute we got wind and rain, and then warmth and lots of sunshine. That usually means the rest of us are wearing trousers and a some kind of warm coat. Not Mary. She is (most likely) only wearing thin thighs and a jacket as cold. Even though most of her outfit is close to what she wore in 2019 at Børsen, here, then it is not quite the same.

When she attended the presentation of Denmark's Best CSR, she was wearing the exact same pink pleated skirt and a black Max Mara jacket. At this years opening, she also wore a black jacket, but not the same one. This one has still not been identified. Nevertheless, Mary looked great in her pleated skirt and black jacket. The Céline belt is a lovely detail. Gives her a lovely hourglass-shaped figure.

Other than this, her outfit was actually really simple. Not many accessories. Not many confusing details. Less is more. But she did wear reused black pearl earrings from Dulong Fine Jewelry and a magnificent brooch from Elise Gug. Both pieces have been worn at a number of different occasions. Mary was also wearing a brand golden ring, here. We first saw the ring in January earlier this year, when she attended the presentation of the winners of the Media Competition 2020, here.

With black leather gloves and a matching Quidam clutch she embraced the style beautifully. Even her new black felt hat and rather voluminous hairstyle perfectly matched her look. Mary topped of a great outfit with pointed python pumps from Gianvito Rossi. Also her stunning bouquet caught my attention. They always do. This one was made by a freelance florist from Copenhagen, here.

The Australian War Memorial

17th September

As guest of honor, the Crown Princess attended the inauguration of "The Australian War Memorial" in the Churchillpark in Copenhagen. Crown Princess Mary was warmly welcomed by Australia's ambassador, Mary Ellen Miller whom which she also revealed the new war memorial and the Danish Minster of Defense, Trine Bramsen.

The atmosphere was very unique. Truly a day reserved for honoring Australian military and service staff, who took part in the liberation of Denmark during World War II as well as the fallen Australian soldiers from World War I. Standing side by side with the Australian ambassador, the Crown Princess showed her honor and support to those lost in war and for their families.

I guess it was with a special proud feeling in her heart that she attended the inauguration. After all, she is Australian born.

After the inauguration, she payed a visit to the Information Center for the Monument to Denmark's international efforts after 1948. The center is located at Kastellet in Copenhagen and offer visitors an insight into the missions that Danish envoys have participated in since 1948, here.

A couple of days ago we learned that the Crown Princess is now part of the United Nations Population Fund's newly established ICPD25 High Level Commission. This commission is all about fulfilling what was discussed at Nairobi Summit in 2019. These goals focuses on making any pregnancy desired, making every birth safe and to give all young people the opportunity to reach their full potential. On Thursday, she participated the very first (virtual) meeting with the commission (second embedded picture). She commented in her own words that she very much look forward to get started.

Mary was beautifully dressed, when she attended the inauguration and later on participated in a meeting with the newly established ICPD25 High Level Commission. Somehow, I think she looks different this time even though all of her clothes have been worn before. She looks older and somehow more mature (if that is even possible).

I really like how she style her floral printed Ralph Lauren dress with that black Max Mara jacket. Did you know that Mary first wore this jacket back in 2004 at Queen Margrethe's 64th birthday, here? That is how old it is. At the inauguration she paired her old goodie with a stunning Ralph Lauren dress. Think it is the first time she wears the dress with a jacket and this time a year. Lovely dress. The thin belt is also a reuse from Céline.

She embraced the outfit with golden jewellery from Dulong Fine Jewelry and Cartier. The wonderful golden ring featuring diamonds, is an Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen design. For sure you also noticed the white pearl earrings and the little brooch. The story goes that the brooch is made by Dulong Fine Jewelry, but I have never been able to confirm it and the style is like their usual design.

As other accessories she wore nude pointed pumps from Gianvito Rossi and a matching (unidentified) clutch. With gloves and a hairstyle do die for, Mary impressed me greatly.

Winners of the Media Competition 2020

29th January

So, we have not seen Crown Princess Mary for quite some time now. You all know why: because at the moment she is living in Switzerland with the rest of the family while all four children are joining a 12 weeks program at Verbier International School. This means we have only seen her and the family once, when they gave an interview about a month ago, here. I am probably not the only one who have been looking forward to this day where she returned to Copenhagen, right? Well, it is just temporarily because the Crown Princess is going back to Verbier again.

Crown Princess Mary is in Denmark to attended the presentation of the winners of the Media Competition for Schools 2020 at Politikens Hus in Copenhagen.

The Media Competition has death as topic - something that is hard for many, both children and adults, to talk about. This is what the competition is all about: getting knowledge about the media industry and use it as a way of opening up for a dialogue about a difficult topic as death and illness are. Children and young people in 6-10th grade have participated the competition. The project is organized by Ekstra Bladet, Jyllands-Posten, Politiken and now the Mary Foundation, Children, Youth and Grief and Stifterne joined the program. Crown Princess Mary attended to present the winners along with the Mary Foundation.

She was in a really splendid mood. All smiles and a happy spirit. Both participating children and other involved in the project, welcomed her with handshakes, flowers and smiley faces. Shortly, after the arrival Crown Princess Mary entered the stage. She gave a speech with personal references from her own life and how she dealt with both death and illness in her own family, when losing her mother in a very young age.

In her speech, she also announced the winning class (7th grade from Frederiksberg School), who received medals and a check of 5,000 Danish kroner. The Mary Foundation shared moments from the big day at Facebook. See the wonderful pictures below.

I cannot hide that I have been looking forward to this day. The day where she would return (also only just briefly) and attend the presentation of the Media Competition for Schools 2020. I did not know what to expect from her outfit, but it was not this. This is much better.

Mary had chosen a brand new printed blouse. It features some pretty incredible details: the color, print, collar and golden button. I learned that Sarah managed to identify Mary's new blouse as a Roberto Cavalli creation. Lovely, right? How would you style a blouse like this?

Mary matched her new pieces with simple black trousers and a long blazer-like coat. My guess is that she has worn the trousers before, such as the coat. It goes back to when Prince William and Catherine, Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited Denmark in November 2011, here. Since then, Mary has worn this coat on three more occasions. Even though this makes it the fifth time she is wearing it, I still do not know where to find it.

She embraced the chic business look with old earrings from Figaros Bryllup. Maybe you remember that she wore them when visiting Moldova in 2016, here. The two bracelets have been seen before. One is from Cartier and the other one is a golden bangle from Dulong Fine Jewelry. If you look closely you will see a rather large ring on her right hand. To me it looks new. What is not new, it her leather belt from Céline and that quality Quidam clutch.

Presentation of the FSR: Denmark's best CSR 2019

31 October

More than once the Crown Princess has attended this annual event. Also last year she attended the presentation of the FSR - Denmark's Best CSR, here. Think it is the fifth or sixth time Crown Princess Mary is attending the award show and presenting the awards.

Each year the organization, FSR (Danish auditors) hand over awards to companies that have managed to make a company that takes the most responsibility. That is why the award is given to companies who made an effort to work to become a more social responsible company.

This is what Crown Princess Mary is supporting by attending the award show at Børsen in Copenhagen each year. From stage she handed over two awards. As a 'large listed company' did A.P. Møller Mærsk receive the title as Denmark's Best CSR-report. Meanwhile Grundfos was given the award as 'large non-listed company'. Executive Vice President, Morten Engelstoft represented A.P. Møller Mærsk and Poul Due Jensen represented Grundfos. Both of them received the awards on stage and the moment were then captured with Crown Princess Mary. Congratulations to both companies with the prestiges award!

Fall has once and for all arrived to Denmark, Copenhagen as well. Personally I am all covered up in knitted hats, scarves, gloves and wool-blend coats. Mary on the other hand had chosen no coat, no warm accessories and no thighs - at least not warm ones. I do not get how she manages to keep comfortable in this little clothes. Nevertheless, I like everything about her outfit from the day she attended the presentation of the FSR - Denmark's best CSR 2019 at Børsen. She looked great in her old black MaxMara jacket which she had belted with a piece from Céline. The belt also goes years back in time, but the lovely dusty pink (or maybe lilic) pleated skirt is brand new. I have not been able to identify her new skirt yet, so let me know if you find out anything interesting about this stunning pieces of clothes. Pleated skirts can be hard to wear, but they always look so beautiful when in motion.

Mary accessorized her outfit with eye-catching python pumps. She had quite a couple of snakeskin and python pumps and these have been part of her wardrobe since around 2017. About now, Mary has worn these shoes with both a navy blue dress, here, a suits, here, a powder pink midi skirt, here, and with rose colored trousers, here. She can now add having worn the python pumps with yet another power pink skirt.

As jewellery, Mary dazzled wearing diamond earrings from Sophie Bille Brahe and a diamond band. That simple golden ring is created by Dulong Fine Jewelry. The quality leather clutch from Quidam perfectly matched the jacket MaxMara jacket. I also noticed her hair at the presentation at Børsen. It looks like a million other times, but somehow I can not get my eyes off her hair. I wish I knew how to make such a perfect blow-out. I have not learned it yet and it will probably take a few more years.

Day 3. Business visit from Sweden

18 September

By now the Swedish Crown Princess Victoria and her husband, Prince Daniel are back home in Sweden. But before leaving they spend a little more time with the Danish Crown Prince Couple.

First thing in the morning the two couple's attended Swedish-Danish Business Forum at Danish Industry in Copenhagen. All four of them seemed to be in a wonderful mood. Also when they later visited House of Green the four enjoyed each others company. Before splitting up two and two, the two royal couples payed a visit to Tech BBQ 2019 - the biggest innovation and tech summit in Scandinavia, here.

In the afternoon Crown Prince Frederik joined Crown Princess Victoria. Together the two of them visited Amager Bakke which is a waste energy plant. Meanwhile, Crown Princess Mary enjoyed some time with Prince Daniel visiting Rigshospitalet. They were shown the hospitals new build facilities and building site of what is not finished yet.

Spending time with her husband and the Swedish royal couple Mary has already showed some incredible outfit. So did she on Wednesday. Mary had chosen to embraced the style by wearing a reused and altered skirt designed by Charlotte Eskildsen - designer for Designers Remix. Originally it is a dress made of sustainable materials, here. This time she wore the skirt with an old (really old) black zipper jacket from Max Mara. It goes all the way back to 2004, here. Do you remember the jacket? Loves how she matched the outfit with that Céline belt.

Though her outfit was quite simple, she wore some outstanding accessoires and a lot actually. First thing I noticed was the bright blue Gianvito Rossi pumps. Seems like Mary loved wearing colorful pumps at the moment. Like when she wore her new orange Prada pumps attending a reception with the RC69 - WHO Regional Committee for Europe, here. I absolutely love her wearing colors. Usually she does not change her shoes. But when visiting Rigshospitalet with Prince Daniel she had changed from Gianvito Rossi to nude Christian Louboutin's.

Also her jewellery featured amazing colors. The earrings and matching ring are both from Pomellato, while the twisted golden necklace is a reuse from Orit Elhanati. Despite covering most of it, Mary did also wear several bracelets from both Cartier and Dulong Fine Jewelry. Love when she wears all kinda different bracelets. Gives a more casual look. The diamond ring is also a Dulong Fine Jewelry creation. The beautiful quality black leather clutch is from Quidam.

New buildings and TrygFonden's Family House

17 June

Inauguration at Skejby Hospital

About half a year ago in November, the Crown Princess was going to inaugurate new buildings at Skejby Hospital. Later that same day she was about to inaugurate a new TrygFonden Family House. But shortly before she should have arrived, she canceled because her flight was canceled.

Crown Princess Mary keeps her words. So on Monday, she arrived to Skejby Hospitel to see the new buildings. They include playsgrunds, courtyards, places for different activities and facilities for psychiatry. There are rooms for more than 250 patients.

The Crown Princess was warmly welcomed at her arrival. She was one big smile and a happy spirit. During the visit at the new buildings at Skejby, she met both patients and workers. With great patience and commitment Crown Princess Mary sat down on a chair and listned. She was also given a guided tour around the facilities. Often she's described warmhearted and must important, she is in the moment. Even though the Crown Princess often speaks with people who have a hard time in life, she manages to get them to talk; to tell their story to her. That's my guess why she's admired wordwide.

TrygFonden's Family House

Later in the afternoon, Crown Princess Mary then payed a visit to TrygFonden's new Family House in Hammel. Back in November last year, she was suppose to have inaugurated the new facility, but it was canceled at the last minute. Instead the Crown Princess showed up on Monday, June 17th.

Her smile was sincere, as was her commitment when visiting seven-year-old Albert and his family. They stayed in one of TrygFonden's Family Houses because little Albert gone through a course of treatment at Hammel Neuro Center. It was a wonderful sight to follow her meeting with the family. Coffee and lemonade were served, and experiences were shared.

When visiting the Family House, Crown Princess Mary was also given a tour to see the buildings, and she met with both staff and volunteers. The royal house also shared that the Crown Princess met the therapy group Gaia, and with Luna Smile. She's the hospital clown, who makes life a bit easier and more funny for admitted children at the hospital.

Both when visiting the psychiatry's new buildings at Skejby Hospital and visiting the Family House in Hammel Mary was beautifully dresses. She had chosen a brand new silky blouse identified by Heaven as Hugo Boss. I imagine it worn with a pair of simple trousers or maybe a pencil skirt. Very suitable for the occasions. To make things a bit more fresh and summery Mary embraced the style with her floral printed midi skirt from Andiata. I can't help myself from getting in a great mood whenever she's wearing that lovely skirt. Looks stunning on her. The little belt (which is a perfect detail to show her smal waistline) is very likely from Céline.

Mary also embraced the style with quiet a lot of jewellery. The beautiful pink drop earrings goes way back in time and are from Dulong Fine Jewelry. They are called 'Delphis'. She wore a large number of bracelets: a golden one from Cartier, two others from Dulong Fine Jewelry (possibly three) and one I believe is from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen, here. She topped off this incredible look with soft curly hair and light colored Gianvito Rossi pumps. Actually, Mary did bring with her a bag.

Her lovely leather handbag from Prada. I also noticed that she wore a diamond ring made by Dulong Fine Jewelry instead of her wedding/engangment ring. Did you notice that to? The other simple golden ring is also from Dulong Fine Jewelry, which makes me wonder if the white pearl ring is also their design. And then let me know what you liked most about this outfit.

UNFPA's State of World Population Report 2019

06 May

On Monday, Crown Princess Mary arrived to Gefion Gymnasium in Copenhagen to attend the presentation of UNPFA's State of World Population Report. She was warmly welcomed by Danish Minister of Development, Ulla Tørnæs and Rector, Birgitte Vedersø. With flowers, smiles and handshakes the Crown Princess arrived to Gefion Gymnasium.

The State of World Population Report is an annual occasion hosted by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). What makes the report notable, is its attention to focus on development and trends in the world population.

Crown Princess Mary has been involved in the work of the United Nations Population Fund for quite some years. She has attended the presentation of their State of World Population Report both in 2013, here, 2014, here, 2016, here and 2017, here. Her attending was a huge success. Both students and other attendances loved her.

Attending the presentation of this years repost, Mary was simple dressed in a black suit. The blazer goes a few years back and found then found at Zara. I can't tell anything about the trousers, you probably get why. Once again she embraced the style by wearing one of her pleated Hugo Boss (collection: BOSS) blouses. Looks just great with the edgy suit. She even belted the outfit with an old Céline piece. It goes back to at least 2005.

To make the perfect looks, Mary accessorized her outfit with reused Dulong Fine Jewelry earrings featuring drop shaped rose quartz pendants. I also see diamond rings from among others Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. Once again she wore a simple necklace with green beads from Nadia Shelbaya.

Mary then wore a black quality leather clutch from Quidam and expensive rivet pumps from Valentino. Simple, chic and good-looking.

Meeting with Folketinget's cross-political network and...

31 January

A day previous, Crown Princess Mary visited Aarhus. She both payed a visit to the Volunteer House Trøjborg and was introduced to the initiative "Cases that Gathers', here. Later that evening she attended the official opening of the Cultural Year 2019 between South Korea and Denmark, here.

The following day, she was invited to attend a meeting with Folketinget's cross-political network and the 2030-panel. The meeting took place in Dansk Arkitekturcenter BLOX, where more than 30 representatives were gathered to discus sustainable development. That is also what Folketinget's cross-political network for UN's Worldgoals aim to - to promote the UN's 17th Sustainable Development Goals.

Little has been told about the meeting. My guess is that a great discussion gathered all of them. After all they all participated the meeting with the some purpose: to find new solutions to secure the worlds future.

In the evening Crown Princess Mary was spotted attending the Rotate Birger Christensen show on occasion of Copenhagen Fashion Week, here. The Crown Princess was dressed in, what appears to be a brand new floral printed dress from Rotate Birger Christensen, a black coat, Dulong Fine Jewelry earrings and brand new purple suede boots.

Arriving to Dansk Arkitekturcenter BLOX, Mary wore her (really) old black Prada coat. I hardly imagine that it managed to keep her much warm, but it looked great with the rest of her outfit. She had chosen simple colours and a mix of different fabrics. Love that. The grey trousers we have seen on a previous occasion. She first wore them at the presentation of the Heart Associations research grants in October last year, here. This time she embraced the style by wearing a dark grey turtleneck blouse. A combo I often wear myself.

The stunning diamond earrings shaped as flowers have been found on an auction at Bruun Rasmussen. It is not the first time Mary wears them, but their beauty surprise my every time we get to see them. Imagine to wear such earrings? Even just for a moment. Maybe one day.

As other accessories we have a pair of brand new boots. At first I was sure Mary wore her old Gianvito Rossi pumps. A closer look showed that I was all wrong. Instead her pumps are boots. Kate managed to identify her new ankle boots as Prada. Last but not least, the quality leather clutch is from Quidam. With a matching belt and bordeaux nail polish Mary rocked this simple grey look.

The presentation of Hjerteforeningens research grants

Monday, October 8th

Monday, the Crown Princess was back at work. She began a new week by attending visiting Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen. Following she attended the presentation Hjerteforeningens research grants taking place at Hotel d'Angleterre.

When visiting Rigshospitalet the Crown Princess was guest of honor at the cardiovascular clinic. Among other things, she watched heart scan. Also she listened to a short presentation about congenital heart disease. It is my impression that the Crown Princess found the visit outmost interesting and informative.

Once again she participated in handing over Hjerteforeningens research grants at Hotel d'Angleterre in Copenhagen. Usually it is a wonderful sight to follow. The children attending just loves being around the Crown Princess and vice versa. Everybody was in a great spirit. The same happened, when she handed over the two research grants to Lars Søndergaard and Christian Torp-Pedersen. Congratulations to two of them with the prestiges honor of receiving these research grants.

When both visiting Rigshospitalet and presenting Hjerteforeningens research grants, Mary was beautifully dressed. She looked chic wearing a brand new dark red blouse and grey trousers. What a combination of colors. Heaven shared her findings on the blouse with me. It is identified as a Hugo Boss creation. Stunning. Many different designers crossed my mind when trying to find her new trousers. I found nothing. But Heaven did. She managed to identify her trousers as well. They are from Céline.

Mary then belted her new trousers with a belt seen a couple of times before. A rather untraditional belt. Despite the significant closure I have not yet been able to find its creator. She also matched her wonderful autumn outfit with what looks like black pointed pumps and her Quidam clutch made of the finest, quality leather. My guess would be that she is wearing her Gianvito Rossi pumps.

Beautifully Mary embraced this outfit by wearing outstanding jewellery. Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen made her diamond earrings and a couple of her diamond rings. Stunning pieces. I have always been almost hypnotized by Lynggaard Copenhagen's jewellery.

Not long ago she added a new piece to her jewellery box: a diamond floral necklace. Eventually it was found by one of my readers at Tiffany. This is the fourth time Mary wears her magnificent necklace, here, here, hereLet me know what you think about her outfit from Monday.

Day 1. 'United Nations General Assembly' in New York

Sunday, September 23rd

Time is running. End of last month the French Presidential couple visited Denmark, here. Then the Crown Princess traveled to Finland, here, and now she is in New York. She's getting international.

So at the moment Crown Princess Mary is in New York. All on occasion of Untied Nations General Assembly 73. The event takes place from September 23rd to 25th. She is present all three days.

Not much has been published from her first day in the states. The program tells that she attended a reception with Women Deliver. For years the Crown Princess has been committed to the work of Women Deliver. From what I have seen she gave a speech at the reception. Later in the evening the Crown Princess attended a dinner hosted by Denmark's UN-ambassador, Ib Petersen and his wife, who also welcomed her at the arrival. Seems like the Crown Princess was in a really great mood.

The Crown Princess of Denmark wasn't the only royal attending the United Nations General Assembly. Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden also took part in the event in New York.

Unfortunately I have no pictures to share with you from her first day in New York attending the assembly. I'd love to but only few pictures are published. Non available for me to share. Nevertheless I can share information about what she wore during the day.

Heaven managed to identify her brand new dress as being from Stine Goya. Looks like is features print of a tree with leaves. And just look at those incredible sleeves and the length is outstanding. Suits her really well. Do you like the piece? She belted the new dress with an old Céline belt seen at multiple previous occasions as here and here. I tend to like this new dress pretty much. She embraced the style by wearing stunning golden earrings from Dulong Fine Jewelry and her golden Cartier bangle. Both pieces are so well-made and makes her outfit look very special. A reader and I both came across some golden rings and we both think it looks like styles from Dulong Fine Jewelry. You find my suggestion beneath. She also accessories her outfit with a blue Prada bag and green studded pumps from Valentino. What a combination, right? Green, blue, gold. A match made in heaven.

Wish we had more pictures of her day in New York attending the United Nations General Assembly. But for now, this is what we have to work with. Please, let me know if you find anything I haven't noticed. I am sure you'll see something I missed. And then tell me how you like Mary's outfit.

Flag Day 2018

September, Wednesday 5th

For several years the Crown Princes couple have showed their respect and support to both soldiers and their families by attending 'the Flag Day' for Denmark's deployed soldiers. The ceremony goes back to 2009 and aim to honor deployed soldiers and their efforts, provided in a number of the world's conflict areas.

This year the Crown Princess attended on her own because of her husbands surgery. Crown Princess Mary was guest of honor. She attended a couple of different events on occasion of 'the Flag Day'. First she arrive to Kastellet to place a wreath to show support and to honor those who devote their life to make a difference. The world stood still for a minute in silence. Representatives from both the Danish Home Guard, the Police force, Emergency Management and Veterans, among others, did also attend the ceremony at Kastellet.

The Crown Princess attended a church service in Holmens Church - where Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine were christened. The memorial service was to honor those we lost in battle. Later on she attended a parade at Thorvaldsens Square near Christiansborg Castle in Copenhagen.

Crown Princess Mary was not the only royal family member who was present at 'the Flag Day'. Prince Joachim and Princess Marie attended several events on the same occasion in Fredericia.

Showing her support to Danish soldiers on Wednesday Mary was dressed in the most incredible layered dress from A.L.C. I learned about its identify from Heaven, but Samantha was able to find it. A first glance I was sure we had seen the dress before a couple of year ago at a Christmas event at Christiansborg Castle in 2016, here. It was told to be new so I could not be her old one, right? Then a couple of you shared your thoughts about her dress and expressed that it looked a lot like the one from 2016. The dress is actually also included in the ultimate shopping guide to fall 2016, here. Nevertheless it has now been identified - and it looks amazing on her. She belted her outfit with a Céline belt.

Mary embraced the style by wearing numerous incredible accessories. First of all she wore one of her Susanne Juul hats that goes way back in time. I do not know when we first saw it, but it is many years ago. She has it in a few other colours too. I see what looks like diamond earrings from Hartmanns and that new flower necklace embellished with clear and shiny diamonds from Tiffany (collection: Paper Flowers). I hope for a clear close-up one day. Other than this Mary dazzled in nude patent pumps from Christian Louboutin.

Her hair and makeup was flawless as usual. For year and year I have been in love with the chignon. First it looks great for both day and night events. Second a chignon can be chic and messy, but also straight and more professional. Look for inspiration - I am sure you are going to love this updo as much as I do. Think I have advocated for the hairstyle many times before.

Meeting on the world's refugee situation

Tuesday, June 12th

Second time this month the Crown Princess participated a meeting that was not part of her official calendar. On Monday 11th she met with among others former Secretary General of the United Nations, Ban Ki-moon to talk about The UN Live Museum that will be located in Copenhagen, here. The following day she had a meeting with Filippo Grandi, UN's High Commissioner for Refugees that took place at Amalienborg in Copenhagen. She met with him as patron of the Danish Refugee Council. Present at the meeting was also Danish Minister of Development, Ulla Tørnæs and Secretary General of the Danish Refugee Council, Christian Friis Bach. According to the royal house, the current refugee situation was discussed during the meeting and Filippo Grandi filled everyone in on the work done by the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR).

We haven't seen Mary in anything this black for a long time I believe. Not sure black is the most exciting color to wear these days. Still, the weather has not been as perfect and sunny as we want to the last week and something sophisticated is needed for the occasion. So, she chose to wear this new v-neck, black dress. So far I have not been able to identify it, but it reminds me of something from either Hugo Boss or maybe JOSEPH. Take a look and let me know what you have in mind. Love to hear your thoughts. She belted up the dress with an old Céline belt worn numerous times before, here, here, here. Unfortunately I am not able to tell you for sure, which pair of shoes she was wearing because no pictures show. My guess would be something black to match the dress. Embracing the style to perfection Mary dazzled wearing a few bracelets from Dulong Fine Jewelry, one from Cartier, an Orit Elhanati necklace and of course that gorgeous earrings. They go years back and are from Dulong Fine Jewelry - former Marianne Dulong. She has worn them before but in my mind, it is years ago. I need a little more time to track down a photo for you. Let me know if you find what I am looking to share with all of you.
