Day 1. Official State Visit to Lithuania

January 28, 2026

Arrival in Vilnius

After a lovely last day in Estonia, King Frederik and Queen Mary flew directly to Lithuania to continue their travel. They landed in Vilnius Airport. The couple are spending two days in Lithuania.

Mary hadn't changed clothes from Estonia to Vilnius. She was still wearing her new grey tweed suit from The Fold London and her reused wool-blend coat from Harris Wharf London. Actually, I'm no big fan of grey but it looks kinda cool matched with green.

She kept warm with a knitted beanie, gloves and heeled black boots. The lovely bag is an iconic design by Ralph Lauren.

Welcoming Ceremony

King Frederik and Queen Mary have arrived in Vilnius, Estonia. President Gitanas Nausèda and his wife, First Lady Diana Nausèdienè welcomed the royal couple at the Presidential Palace.

Later on, the First Lady accompanied Queen Mary at a visit at the Ukrainian Center in Vilnius. The center is a social meeting place for Ukrainian families and children living in Lithuania.

Finally! This new stunning floral suit is everything I wished for. I truly missed her wearing anything but trousers. Then what's better than a floral printed skirt? I adore Mary's new Erdem set. Its silhouette is simply beautiful. Can't wait to see her wear it in the future.

Mary styled her florals with a reused headpiece created by Jane Taylor and fine white pearl earrings from Dulong Fine Jewelry. Am I the only one who get that vintage-vibe? What is not to love! Even the Mulberry handbag added that sparkle of old-Hollywood.

I get it why she had chosen low-heeled boots because of the snowy weather but I'd loved to have seen the set with anything but boots - which by the way is from Gianvito Rossi.

State Banquet in Vilnius

President Gitanas Nausèda and First Lady Diana Nausèdienè hosted a magical state banquet at the Presidential Palace to welcomed the King and Queen to Estonia.

The list of invited guests were almost endless. I bet they had a wonderful evening.

Oh..! Mary looked absolutely splendid at the evening state banquet. Don't you think that new bordeaux Elie Saab gown is magnificent? I love everything about it. The slim silhouette, the one-side cape and thin belt. Missed evening gowns.

Not sure I've every really fallen for that antique tiara and matching earrings. Can't tell you why. Maybe because she had so many outstanding pieces of jewellery available and these pieces are a little too simple for an event like this... The the colours looks beautiful next to her fair skin and dark brown hair. We also get a glimpse of her custom-made Dulong Fine Jewelry ruby ring.

Both her Sergio Rossi patent leather box clutch and suede Gianvito Rossi pumps are both reused (and loved) pieces.

Day 1. Official state visit to Estonia

January 27, 2026

You may have noticed my absence the last couple of months. Apologies. I'll try to catch up with everything that has happened since end of January.

On January 27th, the King and Queen arrived in Estonia to attend a two-days official state visit. The royal couple were officially welcomed in Tallinn by President of Estonia, Alar Karis and the First Lady, Sirje Karis at the City Hall Square.

The Presidential Couple accompanied King Frederik and Queen Mary when paying their respect at the Monument to the War of Independence. They also visited the Memorial of the Victims of Communism.

Later on, the royal couple met with the Prime Minister of Estonia and Speaker of the Estonian Parliament.

I always loved a good old tweed fabric. The woven texture is one of my personal favourites. Mary's beautiful new dress is created by Danish tailor Lasse Spangenberg. The detailing are simply amazing. I don't even have to comment further. Have a look and admire the splendid work of his. Her fine coat is a reuse from Max Mara.

Her new headpiece is by Danish milliner Katrin Cecilia Jacobsen. On her social media she posted the headpiece in-the-making. What a treat! Turns out fabric from the dress is braided in with navy blue silk.

I'm sure you noticed the stunning sapphire and diamond brooch. It is called the vandflodsbrochen or the flood sapphire brooch. The brooch is part of the Danish Royal Property Trust and once belonged to Queen Marie Sophie Frederikke - wife of Frederik VI. It is dated back to around 1840.

Mary then accessorized her outfit with a chic brown leather handbag from Anya Hindmach. Her fine dark blue suede boots are new ones from Gianvito Rossi.

State Banquet in St. Nicholas Church

After a long day, the King and Queen were invited as guest of honor to attend a concert and state banquet in St. Nicholas Church. The events were hosted by the Presidential Couple.

This is exactly what I needed! Mary looked absolutely smashing at the evening events in her floor-length gown. It is told to be from Prada but I've never seen or read any evidence of that claim which is why I only share what I've heard. Nevertheless, it is a beautiful gown.

She matched it with huge diamond earrings purchased at an Bruun Rasmussen auction some years back. Don't know about you but I was thrilled to see her wedding tiara. Especially with her flowing soft curly hair.

Mary also embraced the style with a beloved old satin box clutch from Prada and fine matching pumps from Gianvito Rossi.

The presentation of two new awards

December 15, 2025

Queen Mary arrived at the Opera in Copenhagen to attend the presentation of the Ministry of Education and Research two new awards.

The Into Change Award is to honor European researchers in the highest level. It goes to researchers who distinguished themselves through exceptional research. Queen Mary handed over the award to the ENGRAVE collaboration.

Along with Minister of Education and Research Christina Egelund, the Queen also presented the Into Innovation Award. It is awarded to a Danish entrepreneur who find themselves turning knowledge into innovation solutions.

Mary had chosen an elegant black velvet suit and paired it with a fine black satin blouse. I'm not quite sure I fancy the combination of fabrics but I like the intention of something dramatic like velvet and satin. Think we have seen the suit before. Do you like velvet suits?

Because of the satin blouse, I really like that she matched it with those Gianvito Rossi pumps. Always loved the shape of Rossi's pumps. So elegant and classy.

Lately, she has been wearing old goodies. Accessories we haven't seen for years. The same goes with the clutch that she carried with her at the award show. It is an old one from Ralph Lauren. Only worn ones before in 2012. The stunning diamond earrings are from an Bruun Rasmussen auction from a few years back.

Day 1. Opening of Grand Egyptian Museum

November 01, 2025

Amongst King's and Queen's from all over the world we are to find our beloved Queen Mary. They were all gathered in Egypt to the opening of Grand Egyptian Museum in Cairo.

The Queen will be staying the Egypt for two days. She is accompanied by Danish Minister of Foreign Affairs Lars Løkke Rasmussen - former Primeminister. They joined each other at a reception hosted by the Danish Embassy in Egypt prior to the grand opening.

I am in love with Mary's white lace set! Indeed it looks as a dress but in fact it is a blouse and skirt identified as Zimmermann. Think I love everything about it. Made her stand out of the crowd like a white star on the massive stage. Never thought we would see Mary wear such heels from Jimmy Choo but I kinda like it. Looks great with the white laces.

Mary embraced the style with beautiful diamond earrings purchased at an Bruun Rasmussen auction. She first wore them in 2017 when celebrating King Harald and Queen Sonja's 80th birthday. We loved them ever since. The same goes with the stunning diamond cuff's created by Annikat.

Of course we all noticed her huge blue aquamarine ring. The story goes that it is a present from her husband. Fashionable as she is Mary wisely chose a matching dusty blue clutch from LIN8. One we haven't seen in years.

Day 2. Official state visit to Latvia

October 29th, 2025

King Frederik and Queen Mary arrived in Riga yesterday to attend an official state visit to Latvia

The state visit marks the beginning of the Royal Couple's travels to the three Baltic countries and focuses on the close cooperation between Denmark and Latvia in culture, security and common European values.

Before a visit at the Ādaži Military Base the couple paid a visit to the Ādaži Gymnasium. The King and Queen met class students engaged in a mandatory educational course on national defence.

Around noon the couple visited the Danish military base Camp Valdemar. It house around 700 Danish soldiers. Some of them got the opportunity to meet the royal couple.

I'm not quite sure this is my "all-time favorite" outfit of hers but I adore the combination of colors and different materials. Wool and leather are a great match. Mary wore a brand new Massimo Dutti jacket over a reused down vest from Uniqlo and a plum turtleneck. The elegant wool skirt is a new one from Max Mara. The cool leather belt is from Max Mara too.

If we look a little closer we'll find her wearing golden Dulong Fine Jewellery earrings and a matching golden bangle featuring diamonds. We also got a glimpse of her beloved Cartier watch. It has followed her for many years.

Mary also embraced the outfit with matching leather gloves and chic black leather boots from Gianvito Rossi.

Reception

In the afternoon, King Frederik and Queen Mary hosted a reception at the Latvian National Museum of Art. Guests invited represented the Danish-Latvian relations and cooperation within defence, politics, culture and trade.

Somehow I had high hopes for a dress for the evening event but Mary chose a bright green suit from Alberta Ferreti and black accessories. I'm glad she chose a colorful suit and not just a black one. Makes it a bit more exciting. Especially because of the green jewellery.

The stunning green emerald and diamond earrings are purchased at an Bruun Rasmussen auction. The brooch looks very similar in style but she has indeed never worn this brooch before. I'm so curious to know. Can you enlighten me? Her fine ring is a creation by Annikat. Once again she wore Gianvito Rossi shoes. Black patent leather pumps.

Day 1. Official State visit to Latvia

October 28, 2025

Official welcoming ceremony

King Frederik and Queen Mary have arrived in Riga Latvia. The state visit marks the beginning of the Royal Couple's travels to the three Baltic countries and focuses on the close cooperation between Denmark and Latvia in culture, security and common European values. The visit will last from October 28th to 29th.

Latvian President Edgars Rinkēvičs welcomed the couple to Riga Castle where the official welcoming ceremony took place. The King and Queen also had the opportunity to meet with the Danish and Latvian delegations.

The couple also visited with Moment of Liberty, the Latvian Occupation Museum and participated a guided tour in Riga's Art Nouveau district.

Mary looked absolutely stunning in her navy blue coat. It was created by talented Danish designer Søren Le Schmidt. Mary first wore the coat at the 80th anniversary of Denmark's liberation in May. Later that month she wore it celebrating her husband's birthday. In Latvia she had chosen to add a Max Mara belt which I kinda like but it makes her look a bit too thin.

The sunning headpiece matched the coat beautifully. Milliner Katrin Cecilia Jacobsen created this incredible piece of headwear. Amazing work.

She accessorized the outfit with exclusive pearl earrings and a matching brooch. Both pieces are part of the Danish Pearl Poiré Parure. The set also comes with another brooch, a necklace and a tiara. The custom-made pearl ring made by Dulong Fine Jewelry was a great addition to the old inherited jewellery.

Her fine leather clutch is a reuse from Quidam. When they arrived in Riga Mary wore polished Prada pumps. Later, she changed to a pair of black Gianvito Rossi boots and a black woolen coat. The paisley scarf is also a reuse.

Evening banquet

President Edgars Rinkēvičs hosted an evening banquet at Riga Castle with King Frederik and Queen Mary as guests of honor. The King gave a speech prior to the dinner being service.

The King was awarded the Grand Cross of the Order of the Three Stars - Latvia's highest military order. The Queen received the Grand Cross of the Order of the Three Stars. The President was awarded the Order of the Elephant - Denmark's finest order.

Mary first wore the incredible red gown at the New Year's Eve Banquet in January 2018. It is tailored by Søren Le Schmidt. I love when she is wearing bright colors. Looks great with her brown hair and fair skin. Somehow I think she gown looks better with a full up-do. Can't really tell why but I think it suits the gown better. What are your thoughts?

She styled the smashing silk gown with a tiara purchased at an Bruun Rasmussen auction back in 2015. It can be worn both as a tiara and a necklace. The earrings have never been identified but she has worn them numerous times as a set to the tiara.

Her golden bracelet once belonged to Queen Louise. It was her engagement bracelet. I am so sure Mary's huge diamond ring is the same one Queen Margrethe wore on her first official portrait as Queen of Denmark in 1972.

Looks like Mary's pumps are the same colors as her gown. Either in suede or silk. The bordeaux clutch is a reuse from Sergio Rossi.

I am aware that Princess Isabella and her younger sister Princess Josephine have become quite an interest to many of you. So I decided to share my knowledge about their outfits as well. Princess Isabella looked amazing in a bright orange suit from Harris Wharf London and her mother's Prada blouse. She embraced the outfit with Aquamarine earrings, a golden Dulong Fine Jewelry necklace and brown suede Gianvito Rossi pumps.

Princess Josephine wore the most wonderful printed blouse from Zimmermann and simple white trousers. Very similar to the outfit her mother wore at the presentation of the National Teaching Award in 2023. The princess accessorized her look with golden jewellery from, among others, Dulong Fine Jewelry and cool black sling-back flats.

Mary had chosen a stunning navy blue dress created by Danish designer Søren Le Schmidt. He is indeed a talented tailor. The details are magnificent! Not quite sure I like the added Prada belt but I like the idea of something that emphasis her waist. Her dazzling diamond earrings are once purchased at an Bruun Rasmussen auction. The brooch is a masterpiece by Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. We also get a glimpse of python pumps from Gianvito Rossi.

Dinner for the United Nations Chief Executives Board

May 07, 2025

Earlier today King Frederik and Queen Mary arrived in Helsingør on board Dannebrog. In the evening the royal couple hosted at prestiges dinner at Kronborg Castle in Helsingør on occasion of Denmark hosting the United Nations Chief Executives Board.

Members of the United Nations Chief Executives Board, representatives from Greenland and the Faroe Islands, the Presidium of Folketinget and the United Nations General Secretary António Guterres were amongst the invited guests.

I love that Mary wore the same dress as when they docked Helsingør earlier today. She rarely wears the same clothes for two different occasions that same day. As hostess of the dinner at Kronborg Castle Mary had chosen to leave the Scanlan & Theodore jacket on board Dannebrog. Clever choice.

She matched the stunning blue printed Erdem dress with a smashing leather clutch from Christian Dior and dusty blue suede Gianvito Rossi pumps. The clutch has only been worn a few times but the pumps have both traveled Italy, Latvia, Japan and Sweden.

Her magnificent blue Aquamarine earrings goes back to 2004 and are a purchased from Bruun Rasmussen. The beautiful Aquamarine ring is a fine match with the earrings!

Mary looked beautiful when visiting Aarhus! We haven't seen that Hugo Boss blouse since 2016 when she received a donation from Inner Wheel as patron of the Maternity Foundation. Back then she matched the silky blouse with a black a-line skirt. At the event in Aarhus she dazzled in her reused Emilia Wickstead pencil skirt and a fine Prada belt. The colors are outstanding! Her creamy white coat is from JOSEPH.

Mary had also chosen nude leather pumps from Prada and a matching clutch. Very summery. I really like that she embraced the outfit with dusty blue earrings and an elegant new bracelet. The earrings go way back in time. They were once purchased at an Bruun Rasmussen auction. The bracelet is very well be from Dulong Fine Jewelry.

I guess you are interested in Princess Isabella's outfit as well her being the center of attention. The stunning Isabella wore a bright blue suit from Søren Le Schmidt and her mother's The Fold London blouse. She found great inspiration in her mother's closet because most of her accessories have been worn by Mary. Hair combs, earrings, ring, a bracelet and shoes.

Her sweet younger sister, Princess Josephine, looked amazing in a Harris Wharf London blouse and matching blazer and black trousers. Josephine styled her outfit with pearl earrings from Sophie Bille Brahe, her mother's Daisy brooch from Georg Jensen and a golden Maria Black ring.

Gala dinner for arts and culture at Christiansborg

28 February 2025

Friday evening King Frederik and Queen Mary hosted their very first gala dinner for arts and culture at Christiansborg. People representing different arts and members of the cultural life in Denmark were invited to the dinner such as representatives from the Ministry of Culture and the court. Queen Margrethe also attended the gala dinner.

The gala dinner for arts and culture was first held by Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik in 1976 and has been a tradition ever since.

Dinner was served, music was played and lancer was danced. Lancer is a favorit of Queen Margrethe.

Well, well, well. Rais your hand if you ever though Mary would wear this Jenny Peckham gown for an event like this? It never crossed my mind but I love it! Mary first wore the incredible sparkly gown at an interview with Financial Times in 2022 with photos taken by photographer Hasse Nielsen. Really beautiful choice.

Mary accessorized the stunning gown with a tiara purchased at a Bruun Rasmussen auction around 2015 when she first wore it at a gala concert on occasion of Queen Margrethe's 75th birthday. She wore earrings similar in style and a HUGE diamond ring. I am pretty it's inherited from Queen Margrethe or part of the Danish royal collection. What do you think? Is Queen Margrethe in fact wearing the ring on her first official portrait as Queen of Denmark in 1972?

The elegant dusty pink satin pumps are reused from Gianvito Rossi. A fine match to the gown and the pumps. It is from Prada.

Christmas concert with DR Girls' Choir

15. December 2024

Queen Mary has been patron for DR Girls' Choir since 2018. In May of this year, the court announced that she will continue her work with the choir until 2029.

On December 15th the Queen arrived at DR's Concert Hall in Copenhagen to attend the choir's Christmas concert

The choir's concert honored Danish Christmas hymns like "Det kimer nu til julefest" and "Mit hjerte altid vanker".

I want a green suit right away! Who's with me? Mary looked wonderful in her new suit from Alberta Ferretti. What a color. It's been ages since Mary has worn anything from Ferretti. Even her brand new satin blouse is a Ferretti design. Love how she matched both suit and blouse in color. Really clever.

Beautifully she embraced the style of her green outfit with emerald and diamond earrings purchased at an Bruun Rasmussen auction. Even her Annikat ring matches. What is not to like? Usually I am not a bag fan of bright colors and black but somehow she managed to make it work. The black Naledi Copenhagen clutch and patent leather pumps from Gianvito Rossi completed her look with such elegance.

Remember to follow my royal Christmas calendar and the royals own Advent calendar.

From now on, the photos will be used in relation to official state visits, travels, special occasions and for the couple's protections.

Queen Mary wore a stunning bespoke dress by Søren Le Schmidt. The exact same dress as for the proclamation in April. Styled with stunning diamond earrings purchased at an Bruun Rasmussen auction and her elegant Halberstadt necklace.

15 May 2024

Visit at 'Østmarka'

Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit accompanied the King and Queen for a walk in Ulsruvannet, which is part of the outdoor area Østmarka.

The four of them took the subway to Østmarka. Representatives and guides from the Norwegian Tourist Association also took part in the walk. They presented the scenic and urban park, which is has also become a gathering place for both children and young people.

What is better than a good hiking outfit? Love how Mary is rocking both evening gown, jeans, fine floral printed blouses and hiking boots. That is what makes her our beloved Queen. Down on earth and professional with whatever the title prescribe (of course with a touch of her own).

When hiking in Østmarka, she looked lovely in brand new trousers from Carhartt Wip, a simple black blouse and a reused Moncler down vest. I'm still looking to find her brown leather belt. Her boots are great ones from Arc'Teryx and the sunglasses are blue Gucci.

We also get a fine glimpse of her Halberstadt and Julie Sandlau necklaces. Always keeping her family close.

Meeting with the Norwegian Prime Minister and official lunch

Around noon, the couple met with the Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre, whom also joined them for the Government's official lunch at Akershus Slott. The castle goes back to the middle age and once housed Margrethe 1. when she was Queen of Norway as child and young adult.

King Harold, Queen Sonja, Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit attended the lunch as well. Wonderful to see all of them together.

This will be my favorite outfit of the year! I know Mary looked gorgeous last night in her altered Birgit Hallstein dress, but this will still be my favorite look. Primarily, because of the skirt. Just a few weeks ago I found a vintage skirt very similar to Mary's and now I love it even more.

Our beautiful Queen wore a new dusty mint Jesper Høvring blouse and that stunning checkered Emilia Wickstead skirt. The best looks like the one worn the previously day, when the couple arrived in Oslo.

Mary accessorized the outfit with a brand new Ellen Hunter comb. Her earrings goes way back and were once purchased at an Bruun Rasmussen auction. She also wore jewellery from Halberstadt, Julie Sandlau P. Hertz and Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. Thrilled to see the P. Hertz bracelet again.

I love when Mary is wearing these maxi skirts. Looks so elegant and classy. Great how she embraced it with simple Chanel flats and a brand new white button-down from Bagutta. Makes the outfit even more casual, but polished. I yet have to identify this new skirt. Royal Fashion Police suggest this one, but there are differences. Any ideas?

Time is up for wearing hats to keep your head protected from the sun - and to look even more fashionable. Mary wore one from Canopy Bay by Deborah Hutton. It is new. Her sunglasses are reused ones from Gucci.

Mary accessorized her beautiful outfit with earrings from Dulong Fine Jewelry, necklaces from Halberstadt and Julie Sandlau. Her bracelets are creation by Rebekka Notkin and P. Hertz.

Return event at Dannebrog

It has indeed been two magnificent days! Seems like the couple have had a wonderful time in Norway.

This evening, the King and Queen hosted a return event on board Dannebrog with attendance from King Harald, Queen Sonja, Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit.

We can't ask for mere. Mary looked so good when hosting the return event on Dannebrog. The floral printed dress is Zimmermann and worn before. You remember when? Twice in 2019 - in South Korea and Oslo. And then again in 2022 for the wedding of Prince Gustavn and Carina Axelsson.

She embraced the evening look with another brand new hair comb from Ellen Hunter! Always wanted to wear combs but they don't really work for me. Do you like hair accessories?

The earrings are reused but never identified. My guess is that they were purchased on an auction. They can be worn in different lengths. The colorful bracelet is P. Hertz and her stunning sling-backs are Gianvito Rossi.

Day 1.

Official state visit to Sweden

06 May 2024

Arrival in Stockholm

Now they finally arrived in Sweden on board Dannebrog to attend their very first official state visit as King and Queen of Denmark. The visit will last from May 6th to May 7th.

The couple were warmly welcomed by King Carl Gustav and Queen Sonja, when they docked at Skeppbron. Crown Princess Victoria and her husband Prince Daniel also attended the welcome ceremony - also the official one at Kungliga Slottet afterwards. The royal couple enjoyed lunch at Kungliga Slottet after the the ceremony.

Later on, the couple met with the spokesperson of Riksdagen Andreas Norlén and the Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson. Last but not least, the King and Queen visited the Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan - Sweden's largest technical university with more than 13,000 students in engineering and technology.

What an outfit! Mary looked absolutely stunning when the couple arrived in Stockholm for their two days official state visit. She wore her wonderful bespoke Mark Kenly Domino Tan dress and a chic dark cape to keep warm. The beautiful new hat is from Jane Taylor. Later on, she changed from hat to hair comb - an Ellen Hunter design.

Looking closer we see diamond earrings from Bruun Rasmussen, bracelets from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen and Dulong Fine Jewelry. Her other jewellery are Halberstadt and Julie Sandlau. Mary also wore her beloved Connaught Sapphire brooch. A gift from her parents-in-law on occasion of the birth of Crown Prince Christian.

Official gala dinner

King Carl Gustav and Queen Sonja hosted a prestiges gala dinner at Kungliga Slottet in Stockholm on occasion of the Danish King and Queen visiting Sweden.

Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel also attended the gala dinner, such as Prince Carl Philip and his wife Princess Sofia.

Both King Carl Gustav and King Frederik gave a speech before the dinner.

Queen of the night! Mary was indeed Queen of the night. She looked magical in her altered Jesper Høvring dress. Maybe you remember the golden skirt from 2017? At the gala dinner in Sweden, Mary wore the stunning skirt with another floral lace top. A creation by Jesper Høvring from Fall 2018.

Mary honored Queen Ingrid by wearing her famous and beloved Ruby Parure. The rubies are a wonderful match with the dress. Do you like the colorcombo? Even her box clutch matched in color. Dulong Fine Jewelry created the golden ruby ring in the same style as the parure.

We get a glimpse of her brand new beige satin pumps from Gianvito Rossi.
