Day 1. Official State Visit to Lithuania

February 28, 2026

Arrival in Vilnius

After a lovely last day in Estonia, King Frederik and Queen Mary flew directly to Lithuania to continue their travel. They landed in Vilnius Airport. The couple are spending two days in Lithuania.

Mary hadn't changed clothes from Estonia to Vilnius. She was still wearing her new grey tweed suit from The Fold London and her reused wool-blend coat from Harris Wharf London. Actually, I'm no big fan of grey but it looks kinda cool matched with green.

She kept warm with a knitted beanie, gloves and heeled black boots. The lovely bag is an iconic design by Ralph Lauren.

Welcoming Ceremony

King Frederik and Queen Mary have arrived in Vilnius, Estonia. President Gitanas Nausèda and his wife, First Lady Diana Nausèdienè welcomed the royal couple at the Presidential Palace.

Later on, the First Lady accompanied Queen Mary at a visit at the Ukrainian Center in Vilnius. The center is a social meeting place for Ukrainian families and children living in Lithuania.

Finally! This new stunning floral suit is everything I wished for. I truly missed her wearing anything but trousers. Then what's better than a floral printed skirt? I adore Mary's new Erdem set. Its silhouette is simply beautiful. Can't wait to see her wear it in the future.

Mary styled her florals with a reused headpiece created by Jane Taylor and fine white pearl earrings from Dulong Fine Jewelry. Am I the only one who get that vintage-vibe? What is not to love! Even the Mulberry handbag added that sparkle of old-Hollywood.

I get it why she had chosen low-heeled boots because of the snowy weather but I'd loved to have seen the set with anything but boots - which by the way is from Gianvito Rossi.

State Banquet in Vilnius

President Gitanas Nausèda and First Lady Diana Nausèdienè hosted a magical state banquet at the Presidential Palace to welcomed the King and Queen to Estonia.

The list of invited guests were almost endless. I bet they had a wonderful evening.

Oh..! Mary looked absolutely splendid at the evening state banquet. Don't you think that new bordeaux Elie Saab gown is magnificent? I love everything about it. The slim silhouette, the one-side cape and thin belt. Missed evening gowns.

Not sure I've every really fallen for that antique tiara and matching earrings. Can't tell you why. Maybe because she had so many outstanding pieces of jewellery available and these pieces are a little too simple for an event like this... The the colours looks beautiful next to her fair skin and dark brown hair. We also get a glimpse of her custom-made Dulong Fine Jewelry ruby ring.

Both her Sergio Rossi patent leather box clutch and suede Gianvito Rossi pumps are both reused (and loved) pieces.

Day 1. Official State visit to Latvia

October 28, 2025

Official welcoming ceremony

King Frederik and Queen Mary have arrived in Riga Latvia. The state visit marks the beginning of the Royal Couple's travels to the three Baltic countries and focuses on the close cooperation between Denmark and Latvia in culture, security and common European values. The visit will last from October 28th to 29th.

Latvian President Edgars Rinkēvičs welcomed the couple to Riga Castle where the official welcoming ceremony took place. The King and Queen also had the opportunity to meet with the Danish and Latvian delegations.

The couple also visited with Moment of Liberty, the Latvian Occupation Museum and participated a guided tour in Riga's Art Nouveau district.

Mary looked absolutely stunning in her navy blue coat. It was created by talented Danish designer Søren Le Schmidt. Mary first wore the coat at the 80th anniversary of Denmark's liberation in May. Later that month she wore it celebrating her husband's birthday. In Latvia she had chosen to add a Max Mara belt which I kinda like but it makes her look a bit too thin.

The sunning headpiece matched the coat beautifully. Milliner Katrin Cecilia Jacobsen created this incredible piece of headwear. Amazing work.

She accessorized the outfit with exclusive pearl earrings and a matching brooch. Both pieces are part of the Danish Pearl Poiré Parure. The set also comes with another brooch, a necklace and a tiara. The custom-made pearl ring made by Dulong Fine Jewelry was a great addition to the old inherited jewellery.

Her fine leather clutch is a reuse from Quidam. When they arrived in Riga Mary wore polished Prada pumps. Later, she changed to a pair of black Gianvito Rossi boots and a black woolen coat. The paisley scarf is also a reuse.

Evening banquet

President Edgars Rinkēvičs hosted an evening banquet at Riga Castle with King Frederik and Queen Mary as guests of honor. The King gave a speech prior to the dinner being service.

The King was awarded the Grand Cross of the Order of the Three Stars - Latvia's highest military order. The Queen received the Grand Cross of the Order of the Three Stars. The President was awarded the Order of the Elephant - Denmark's finest order.

Mary first wore the incredible red gown at the New Year's Eve Banquet in January 2018. It is tailored by Søren Le Schmidt. I love when she is wearing bright colors. Looks great with her brown hair and fair skin. Somehow I think she gown looks better with a full up-do. Can't really tell why but I think it suits the gown better. What are your thoughts?

She styled the smashing silk gown with a tiara purchased at an Bruun Rasmussen auction back in 2015. It can be worn both as a tiara and a necklace. The earrings have never been identified but she has worn them numerous times as a set to the tiara.

Her golden bracelet once belonged to Queen Louise. It was her engagement bracelet. I am so sure Mary's huge diamond ring is the same one Queen Margrethe wore on her first official portrait as Queen of Denmark in 1972.

Looks like Mary's pumps are the same colors as her gown. Either in suede or silk. The bordeaux clutch is a reuse from Sergio Rossi.

Mary first wore this set back in 2017 when visiting Japan. Either you like it or you don't. What team are you on? I always liked the vibe but I see why somebody confused it with nightwear. The floral printed set is from Etro. She styled it with black mesh pumps from Gianvito Rossi and a reused glitter clutch from Sergio Rossi. Simply beautiful!

I'm pretty sure many of you noticed the stunning opal necklace. Magnificent, right? I'm 99.9% sure it is a gift from the JAA Opal Sector in 2006. This is its very first public appearance. Mary was gifted a pendant and Frederik received opal cufflinks.

As other jewellery Mary wore a colorful Dulong Fine Jewelry bracelet, a golden Rebekka Notkin cuff and a Cartier watch.

Mary looked absolutely stunning at the dinner! She matched a reused pink printed Erdem pencil skirt with a fine and elegant black blouse from Jesper Høvring. The Erdem skirt was first seen when the couple attended private birthday party at Gavnø Castle in 2024. Back then Mary matched it with a blouse in the same color and floral print. Which outfit do you prefer?

Mary accessorized her evening look with smashing Annikat earrings perfectly matching the pink skirt! The rather heavy golden necklace is a vintage piece from Christian Dior. Worn in January 2025 and in May 2024. I am very much interested to learn more about her golden ring. I believe we have seen it before.

I really like her choice of clutch and shoes. The Sergio Rossi and pointed Gianvito Rossi pumps makes the outfit even more wonderful.

Part 2: Princess Isabella's 18th birthday

15 April 2025

Within a few days Princess Isabella will celebrate her 18th birthday! She has already been honored in Aarhus a couple of days ago.

Tonight more than 1,000 young people from the age of 17 to 24 were invited to Copenhagen to take part in the celebration. They were invited as guests of honor to attend a gala performance at the Royal Theatre.

From her family attended: King Frederik, Queen Mary, Crown Prince Christian, Prince Vincent, Princess Josephine, Queen Margrethe, Princess Benedikte and Queen Anne-Marie. Count Nikolai and Count Felix were also invited to the performance such as her two aunts, Jane and Patricia.

I am not quite sure what I expected of Mary for this event. Something spectacular but not to rise above her daughter. I might have hoped for something a little more glamorous but Mary did look amazing in her reused By Malene Birger skirt and fine black satin blouse. Mary first wore the set in 2007 when visiting New York.

She embraced the style with Queen Ingrid's impressive red ruby parure. At the gala she wore the simple version of both earrings and necklace. The embellished black belt and matching Sergio Rossi clutch have booth been worn before just like the pointed satin pumps from Gianvito Rossi.

Star of the show: Princess Isabella wore a smashing new tulle gown created by Jesper Høvring. The shiny diamond earrings are from a Bruun Rasmussen auction. Both earrings, silver bracelet and clutch have been seen worn by Mary. Isabella also flashed a golden Cartier bangle.

Elegant Princess Josephine re-wore wonderful blue Jesper Høvring jumpsuit. She styled it with Blue Topaz earrings from Georg Jensen and a golden ring from Dulong Fine Jewelry. Both from her mother's wardrobe. The fine hair comb is by Ellen Hunter.

Day 1. King Carl Gustaf's Golden Jubilee

14 September 2023

Arrival

On September 14th, the Crown Prince Couple arrived in Stockholm, Sweden to attend King Carl Gustaf's Golden Jubilee (here). He celebrate his 50 years anniversary with family and friends.

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary flew to Stockholm and are staying at the Royal Yacht Dannebrog along with Queen Margrethe and Princess Anne-Marie. The couple arrived around noon - a little after the Queen and her sister.

Mary looked amazing in what I believe is a brand new light brown (linen?) suit paired with an old Athé by Vanessa Bruno blouse. She first wore the blouse in Rio de Janeiro in 2026 (here). Mary styled the rather casual outfit with a brown leather belt, Gucci sunglasses, a beloved Ralph Lauren bag, Gianvito Rossi sandals and golden Dulong Fine Jewelry earrings.

Mary stunned in her custom-made Lasse Spangenberg evening gown. This is the third time she is wearing it. We first saw it at the celebration the Mary Foundations 10th anniversary in 2017 (here). Worn plain and simple. Mary repeated the success a year later, when Denmark hosted an official state visit from France (here). The gown was then added a fine black silk "sleeve". So far, my personal favorite version is from the gala performance in Stockholm.

She accessorized the magnificent outfit with a beloved birthday present from Queen Margrethe. The precious earrings. Matched with a turquoise ring. Halberstadt and Julie Sandlau are creators of her fine necklaces and Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen mastered the diamond rings.

Look closer and you will see her reused black glitter clutch from Sergio Rossi and mesh pumps from Gianvito Rossi.

Girls Choir concert "DR Girls Choir +"

14 May 2023

Crown Princess Mary has acted as patron for DR Girls Choir since 2018. The 50 girls share wonderful musical moments in Denmark and abroad.

Artistic leader for the girls choir Anne Karine Prip, singer Amanda Baasch Andersen and cultural Director of DR (Denmark's Radio) Henrik Bo Nielsen welcomed the Crown Princess when she arrived to DR Concert Hall in Copenhagen.

After the concert, she had the honor of meeting the choir for a little chat.

Mary looked absolutely stunning at the concert. I also loved that No 21 dress. The color is outstanding and its silhouette is wonderful on her. She has worn the dress before. Among others, when celebrating Crown Prince Frederik, when he turned 50 a few year back (here).

At the concert, she embraced the style by wearing magical earrings created by Annikat. Amazing how they matched the dress. We also get a glimpse of the 'F'-necklace from Halberstadt and her initials necklace from Julie Sandlau.

The beautiful mesh pumps are also a reuse. They are from Gianvito Rossi. She has worn them at the christening of Prince Oscar of Sweden in 2016 (here), when visiting Japan in 2017 (here), at Milan Design Week in 2021 (here). The list goes on. The black box clutch is a Sergio Rossi design.

"Mary 50 years - we celebrate Denmark's Crown Princess"

06 February

Last but not least, Crown Princess Mary was celebrated with a tv-show called "Mary 50 years - we celebrate Denmark's Crown Princess" by TV2 on Sunday evening. She was accompanied by her husband and all four children. It was lovely to see the whole family together. But of course, we all want to celebrate her - including family and friends.

The showed gathered people, music, video clips, etc from her time as Crown Princess. From her 20 years in Denmark. The show included a little surprise, because her four children had been interviewed about their mother (here). They shared glimpses of how their mother is, how dedicated she is and the fact that her accent is sometimes a bit troubled. Apparently, the Crown Princess thinks she speaks perfectly even though her children try to teach their mother.

Crown Princess Mary was truly honoured and very emotional - we get it right?

Mary looked absolutely great in a black and red outfit. That red colour is simply wonderful on her. The blouse and matching skirt are custom-made by Danish designer Claes Iversen. Its details are exquisite! At the arrival, she wore her beloved black Prada coat. The curls made the outfit complete. Even without any other accessorized, the hair and clothes would do to me.

The golden diamond ring is created by the talented designer Rebekka Notkin. She is also the master behind the rather large golden bangle. A stunning combo. Looked great with the diamond earrings from Sophie Bille Brahe and her Cartier bracelet.

I do not quite get it: Mary had chosen dark red suede pumps from Gianvito Rossi. But the colour is a bit off. She has bright red pumps that would match the outfit much better, but instead she wore these darker coloured pumps. Do you get it? But I really like the patent leather clutch from Sergio Rossi with the rest of the look.

Presentation of the 'Nordic Council 2021'

02 November

It was a big night for the Crown Princes Couple, when they arrived to Skuespilhuset in Copenhagen to attend the presentation of the Nordic Council's award ceremony 2021. The couple were welcomed by Vicepresident for the Nordic Council 2021 Annette Lind and President for the council Bertal Haarder - a Danish politician.

The Nordic Council was established to increase the interest in both literature, languages, films and music in Nordic countries.

Several awards were handed over at the ceremony Tuesday evening. The Nordic Council's children's and young people's literature prize were presented and handed over to the Swedish author Elin Persson by Crown Princess Mary herself.

Jonas Poher Rasmussen received the movie award. The music award was given to Faroese Eivør Pálsdóttir and the literature award to Greenlandic author Niviaq Korneliussen. The environmental award went to the Climate Database from Denmark. Congratulations to all the award winners.

About two months ago, Mary attended the grand official opening of Copenhagen 2021 (here). Why mention that? Because she wore the exact same bright red Birgit Hallstein dress. I absolutely love this dress. She belted the dress with a black embellished belt, which I think we have seen before on previous occasions.

Even though it looks like she had chosen a few jewelry, a closer look reveal that Mary was in fact wearing quite a few pieces of accessories. The stunning diamond earrings are created by talented Dulong Fine Jewelry. They are also the master of her rather large diamond ring. Her two matching golden bangles are from Cartier and Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. I see yet another bracelet, but that is still unknown in identify.

She embraced the style by wearing one of her black clutches as well. This one is from Sergio Rossi. I am sure you noticed her black pumps as well. At first, it looked like her old ones, but I was wrong. They are brand new. A new pair are added to her wardrobe. They have been identified as Gianvito Rossi.

The Crown Prince Couple's Prizes 2021

25 September

For sure it was an evening of celebration, when Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary arrived to Vejle Music Teater. They were about to rehearse tonight's big show - the Crown Prince Couple's Prizes 2021. The place to honor and reward extraordinary work and achievements in both art, culture and social work.

In the evening, the royal couple arrived to the teater all dressed up for a wonderful night of celebrating those who have made an extra effort. They were warmly welcomed and both all smiles at the arrival. I guess this is a very special day for the couple. Both because they are able to honor and help artists, organisations, foundations, etc. and because it is a reminder of their wedding because the Crown Prince Couple's Prizes are handed over in company with Bikuben Fonden. It was their wedding gift to the couple.

It was indeed a great show. Both Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary entered the stage and presented the four awards. The Social Prize was given to the social organisation Mødrehjælpen. They have help mothers sine the begning of the 1900. Crown Princess Mary actually visited Mødrehjælpen to hear more about the organisation. It was filmed and broadcasted on the show. Lovely piece of footage (here).

Superflex, an artist group, received the Crown Prince Couple's Culture Prize because of their intens work to create alternative solutions on some of the most problematic global issues. The two Stardust Prizes were given to RedenUng and singer Erika de Casier.

At the rehearsal show, Mary was dressed as earlier when the couple visited Kongernes Jelling in Jelling (here). She matched a brand new striped sweater/vest from Lisa Yang with a dusty blue button-down blouse and simple black trousers. I like the idea of a sweater, a button-down and black trousers, but that sweater really looks way to small on her. Cannot wait to see how she will wear it again. The chic diamond earrings are from Sophie Bille Brahe and the golden bangle from Cartier. We also get a glimpse of a new ring and her old Dulong Fine Jewelry, as well as her Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen diamond band.

In the evening, Mary has changed to something completely different. Her look went from chilled and relaxed to stylish and polished. The beautiful green embroidered skirt is from the Swedish Hennes & Mauritz. She first wore this beauty at Copenhagen Fashion Summit in 2018 (here). I really like the "adjustment" with the black low-shoulder blouse. This piece is also a reuse. Mary embraced the evening style by wearing emerald green earrings once purchased at an Bruun Rasmussen auction. The two bracelets are from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen and Cartier. I also see one of her Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen diamond bands. She looked amazing in her outfit with the mesh pumps from Gianvito Rossi and glittery Sergio Rossi box clutch.

As told, Mary visited Mødrehjælpen. The visit was captured on tape and was later shown in the award show. At Mødrehjælpen, she stunned. I am truly impressed by her outfit and hope to copy every part of it one day. She paired her rather new Massimo Dutti blazer with a black blouse and trousers. The silhouette is just great. The accessories are new black suede ballet flats from Chloé, old golden earrings from Dulong Fine Jewelry, a Orit Elhanati necklace and one Dulong Fine Jewelry. She wore two golden rings from the same designer. Cartier created her bangle.

100 years with a diplomatic relationsship between Denmark and Switzerland

21 September

Often, Crown Princess Mary is guest of honor at different events. So was she, when she attended a very special dinner on Tuesday evening. The reason for her attendance, was the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the diplomatic realtions between Denmark and Switzerland, and 50 years with Roche in Denmark.

The Ambassador to Switzerland Florence Tinguely Mattli warmly welcomed the Crown Princess when she arrived to the Swiss Embassy in Hellerup. Tinguely Mattli was host of the evening. Richard Wright, Head of Portfolio Strategy and Member of the Board for Roche Dr Christoph Franz also attended the anniversary.

It seems like a wonderful evening for all of them. Crown Princess was really in a splendid mood. All smiles and glimpsing eyes.

Finally, we see that beautiful Alexander McQueen dress again. Mary first wore the dress in 2017, when  Crown Prince Naruhito of Japan paid a visit in Copenhagen (here). I do like this dress, but I also have many others I like a bit more. She changed that at the 100th anniversary celebration of the diplomatic realtionsship between Denmark and Switzerland. Mary looked stunning!

She embraced the style by wearing some pretty incredible jewellery. Of course, we all noticed her new Dulong Fine Jewelry earrings first. The magnificent emerald beads pieces worked as pendants for golden earrings from the same talented designer. Mary also matched them with a few other green jewellery. Like the thin and elegant Nadia Shelby necklace and her Dulong Fine Jewelry ring. A wonderful choice to pick the same colored stones. She wore a couple of bracelets as well. One from Cartier, two others from Dulong Fine Jewelry.

The black glitter box clutch from Sergio Rossi looked great with the rest of her outfit. Gives it a bit sparkle and glamour. Perfect for the event. The same goes with the Arteana pointed sling-back pumps. They are a light touch for an evening look. Her hairstyle was so inspiring.

The New Year banquet

01 January

A new year has arrived and that has to be celebrated with everything it takes to welcome a new year. It is a tradition for the Queen to host a prestigious banquet at Amalienborg on January 1st. Nothing had changed this year.

Representatives from the official part of Denmark were invited, as well as the Danish Government, the Chairman of Folketinget and people working for the royal family. The guests arriving were also captured on photo, hereThis is her way of saying: "Thank you for what you have done for Denmark the past year and thank you for what will come". And what a lovely tradition to have.

Members of the royal family were, of course, also invited to participate the finest dinner of them all. First Princess Benedikte arrived wearing a stunning purple velvet gown. To me it seems like she was in a splendid mood. Prince Joachim and Princess Marie followed her and arrived just a few minutes later. Princess Marie looked gorgeous in her reused midnight blue gown and loose hairstyle. Then Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary arrived, followed by Queen Margrethe in her brand-new fitted gown.

I have really looked forward to seeing what Mary would wear this year - well, I do each year. The excitement is almost too much to handle. Cannot say that I was disappointed but what Mary had chosen to wear at this year's banquet, but I had hoped for something a little different than what she showed us. It reminded me quite a lot about the outfit she wore back in 2012 at the very same event, here. Maybe just another hairdo and everything would have been absolutely great. You do not hear my complain, because she looked beautiful (as always).

The gown was first worn in 2007 when she was pregnant with Princess Isabella, here, and it is created by tailor, Birgit Hallstein, here. The same woman who made her wedding gown. Since 2007, the gown has been altered a few times. The sleeves, neckline and waist have been altered to what we see today. What many forget, is that she wore the exact same dress at a few other occasions as well. For instance in 2007 when celebrating Prince Harald's 70th birthday, here, and when she posed for Mario Testino in 2015/2016, here.

This year Mary had chosen, once again, to wear the outstanding ruby parure from Queen Ingrid - Crown Prince Frederik's grandmother. Mary added a ring to match both tiara, necklace, brooch, earrings and bracelet quit some years ago. A couple of hairpins have also been made out of leaves from the tiara, which Mary brilliantly wore at the New Year banquet. She embraced the style by wearing her burgundy patent leather clutch from Sergio Rossi.

What is interesting is her shoes. I do not think we have seen these burgundy pumps before. They look velvet and are velvet. A close-up showed that. It also showed that her new pumps are from Valentino. Heaven managed to identify Mary's gorgeous new pumps. Can't wait to see them again. Last but not least, what do you think about Mary's first evening outfit in 2020?

20th anniversary of the American Chamber of Commerce

24 October

After having spend a couple of days in Tokyo, Japan the Crown Prince Couple just arrived home to attend a 20th anniversary gala for the American Chamber of Commerce - also known as AmCham Denmark. The celebration took place at Moltkes Palace in Copenhagen. The cultural and commercial relationship between Denmark and the United States were also celebrated at the anniversary gala event. It was last celebrated five years ago also with the Crown Prince Couple participating, here.

The Executive Director of AmCham Denmark, Stephen Brugger and Senior Vice President, Angela Naef welcomed Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary when they arrived to Moltkes Palace. All four of them were in a splendid mood. Imagine three or four in a country abroad; arrive home after a long flight and then you have to bee well-dressed and good-looking? Well, I do not look this vivid after hours of travel. But the Crown Prince Couple does.

At the anniversary Crown Prince Frederik also presented the Foreign Company of the Year Award. He handed over the award to the American biotech company, Amgen. They work to combine science results, technologi and innovation and convert it to medicine to treat patients with serious diseases. Amgen wins because they are a foreign company that manages to invest in Denmark and for that has made itself noticeable in Danish business. Congratulations to Amgen with the award.

Mary looked absolutely stunning when attending events on occasion of the enthronement in Japan prior to the anniversary back in Copenhagen on October 24th. Both the new gowns and reused dresses she wore amazed all of us. I love getting to see her in new clothes, but what she wore at the AmCham Denmark gala at Moltkes Palace was also incredibly beautiful. We first saw her in this floral dress at a 80th birthday in Norway in 2017, here. Since then I have hoped to see her wear it again. Now it happened. This Erdem creation makes Mary look really evening chic. Like the first time she added a black belt.

Actually she did not wear that much jewellery or anything. Her beauty and the dress speaks for itself. But of course Mary had chosen to wear a few magnificent pieces of jewellery. The stunning diamond earrings have been found sold on a Bruun Rasmussen Auction in 2010. Her huge aquamarine blue ring has never been identified, but I think it goes as a gift from her husband.

She also styled her outfit with (supposably) a black clutch from Sergio Rossi and silver glitter pumps from Gianvito Rossi. Makes me wanna wear my glitter pumps. With her curly hair and simply evening makeup I would give this outfit 9 out of 10.

Opening of the Parliament 2019

01 October

As an annual tradition, the royal family were gathered at Christiansborg Castle to attend the opening of the Danish Parliament. Princess Benedikte arrived first followed by Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary. Last, Queen Margrethe arrived and were welcomed with smiles, handshakes and flowers (of course). Usually, Prince Joachim and his wife Princess Marie also participate but as you know they have moved to France and were not able to be part of the opening.

The first Tuesday of October the Parliament officially comes back from vacation. It is marked with the gathering of the Parliament and Government present. And of course with the Royal family attending. This year was a bit special because Denmarks newly selected Prime Minister, Mette Frederiksen held her very first speech in Folketinget.

Both Princess Benedikte, the Crown Prince Couple and Queen Margrethe watched the opening from the balcony. It is located right of the rostrum.

These annual events are personal favorites of mine. I love comparing outfit; one from each year. That is why I, primarily, look forward to the opening - to see and compare Mary's outfit with previous years. I am rarely disappointed with how she looks. Nor was I this year. Mary was beautifully dressed in one of her reused coats and matching accessories. The stunning dusty pink coat is a design by Claes Iversen. She first wore it in 2018 on an official visit to Latvia, here. Back then you were all crazy in love with the coat. I still am.

As in 2018 she accessorized the coat with a splendid matching creation from Susanne Juul. Love how the two pieces match in both color and style. Really vintage chic. Mary also dazzled with her other accessories. Especially the burgundy Sergio Rossi box clutch and those incredible suedes pointed pumps from Gianvito Rossi. One day I have to own my own pair of Rossi pumps. They have what I would call "the perfect shape". Everything about Rossi's shoes are cared for. So one day...

The diamond ring and beautiful bracelet are both created by Dulong Fine Jewelry. Also her makeup looked absolutely perfect, such as her hairstyle. I adore when she have these updos. Makes me wanna experiment. These chignon's or twisted knots comes in many different forms. This is a more simple one. Great for everyday as well as evenings. Do you have a favorite updo?
