Presenting the Heart Association Research Award

March 26, 2026

It was a patron of the Danish Heart Association that Queen Mary attended the presentation of the Heart Association's Research Award 2026. The award is given to recognizes an individual or group for their outstanding efforts in the fight against heart disease.

This year the award was handed over by Queen Mary to clinical professor at Bispebjerg and Frederiksberg Hospital Eva Prescott for her work with the iPower. iPower focuses on an often overlooked issue in heart research - undiagnosed and untreated breast pain in women.

Mary looked absolutely stunning when she arrived at Hotel d'Angletere in Copenhagen to attend the presentation. She matched a reused burgundy blouse from Jesper Hรธvring with a brand new Rejina Pyo midi skirt. The color-match are incredible, don't you think? The heavy necklace and fine Aquamarine earrings were an elegant choice with the light and flowy outfit. I haven't really decided whether or not I like the python pumps with the rest of her look. The exclusive leather clutch is an Anya Hindmarch design.

Day 6. Official State Visit to Australia

March 19th, 2026

"Welcome to Hobart"

King Frederik and Queen Mary were welcomed by the Tasmanian Governor Barbara Baker when arriving to Hobart. Part of the official welcoming ceremony was the traditional smoke ceremony performed by a representative of the Aboriginal people. This is also when we got the first glimpse of today's outfit. Mary looked beautiful in a reused dress from ME+EM and a beloved linen blazer from Ralph Lauren. The brown leather belt from Max Mara was a great detail. The same goes with her choice in shoes - brown suede Gianvito Rossi pumps and beige cap-toe ballet flats from Prada.

The couple also paid a visit to the Alum Cliffs Marine Reserve and the shipyard INCAT in Hobart. They were even introduced to the award-winning cooking school and restaurant The Agrarian Kitchen. They work with, among others, locally grown products.

Later on, the royal couple visited the art museum MONA, The Museum of Old and New Art founded and owned by David Walsh. When out for a short city walk through Hunter Street, Mary showed what pieces of accessories she had chosen for her outfit. Earrings from Dulong Fine Jewelry, bracelets from Rebekka Notkin, Giorgio Armani sunglasses, and her golden Cartier watch. What's not to like?

State reception

After a long and exciting day, King Frederik and Queen Mary attended a state reception hosted by Governor Barbara Baker. The reception took place at Government House. Specially selected guests representing the state visit were invited to attended the state reception along with the Governor and royal couple.

I truly like the idea of something unique in style and one fancy trying something new, but I am not quite sure I go with her choice in trousers. I'd really like to see her wear them again some day with other accessories. Mary's new trousers are from classy Carla Zampatti. She matched it with a reused CLEA blouse and stunning Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen earrings. The two-tone pumps are a design by Gianvito Rossi.

Day 4. Official State Visit to Australia

March 17th, 2026

Official welcoming at Government House Victoria

Imagine how many countries those Gianvito Rossi heels have walked? To mention just a few: Belgium in 2017, Indonesia in 2019, Norway in 2022, Fiji in 2023, and Nigeria in 2025. Today, the pumps spend a day in Melbourne.

The royal couple was welcomed by Victoria's governor Margaret and Professor Glyn Davis at Government House Victoria. They also enjoyed lunch at the government house with representatives from Danish and Australian businesses.

Apparently, red is a popular color for women to wear in Victoria. The color popped up on trousers, blouses, on the inside of coats, and of course, Mary's stunning dress. It was custom-made by tailor Birgit Hallstein. She styled it with stunning white pearl earrings from Dulong Fine Jewelry and other golden goodies from Rebekka Notkin. We also had the pleasure of her brown leather handbag from Anya Hindmarch.

After lunch, the couple went for a little city walk in Prahran. The area is newly rebuilt with focus on sustainability. King Frederik and Queen Mary were presented to some of the new sustainable houses and projects to come. The Queen also shared their experiences with sustainable solutions when creating the annex at Fredensborg castle.

Visiting Port of Melbourne & Melbourne Cricket Ground

After a quick change to a more casual outfit, the royal couple visited the Port of Melbourne. They were given a guided tour around the facilities and given insight in the harbor's work with green transition and development of sustainable solutions in the maritime sector.

Later on, the King and Queen paid a visit to Melbourne Cricket Ground. They attended the Australian Football League. Queen Mary participated a few exercises herself. The event focuses on a common culture of sports between Denmark and Australia.

Maybe not the most suitable outfit for a real session of Australian football, but way more suited than her bespoke dress. When participating exercises at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, Mary looked fine in (new?) wide-legged trousers, a plain white t-shirt and a Max Mara blazer. I do like a good old blazer but I miss outfits without an added blazer. Am I the only one?

Both NIKE sneakers and Gucci sunglasses were a great choice for the event. Her diamond Sophie Bille Brahe earrings and other golden jewellery from Rebekka Notkin are beautiful with the casual look.

Day 3. Official State Visit to Australia

March 16th, 2026

The Australian War Memorial in Canberra

The King and Queen have arrived in Canberra where they first spend their day planting two trees at the Government House. Her new navy blue Carolina Herrera dress wasn't really the best of choices for the occasion planting tress - nor the Gianvito Rossi pumps, but with their next visit in mind, it was perfect. Because later on, the couple visited the Australian War Memorial.

They paid their respect with a minute in silence and a beautiful wreath to those lost in battle and those fighting out in the world since World War one.

Mary looked really elegant in her new dress and custom-made Katrin Cecilia Jacobsen headpiece. A beautiful piece. The Connaught Sapphire brooch goes back to the year when Crown Prince Christian was christened. Mary received it as a gift from Queen Margrethe on occasion of her first child's birth and christening. It has been worn by Queen Margrethe and Queen Ingrid.

Meeting the Prime Minister

During their day in Canberra, the King and Queen also attended a meeting with the Denmark-Australia Parliamentary Friendship Group. They were given the opportunity to meet a number of members of the parliamentary friendship group. The members represent each their Australian states and territories.

I wanna say that Mary's creamy white/soft pink Max Mara suit was more than appropriate, but I would have liked to see something else. She has become very fond of suits and "hiding" in oversize blazers. I don't see the need of that. Nevertheless, I adore her matching blazer and suede Gianvito Rossi pumps. And the Max Mara leather bag is too a winner.

King Frederik and Queen Mary then attended the official opening of the Danish-Australian Life Science-Conference. It gathered Governments, companies and different research institutions working with innovation, prevention and healthcare solutions.

It was not part of the officially published plan for the state visit but in the evening the couple attended a dinner hosted by the Prime Minister.

I have only been able to find one photo from the dinner posted by the Prime Minister himself welcoming the royal couple. It shows that Mary dazzled in a reused Etro dress and heeled sandals from Gianvito Rossi. Haven't we seen the earrings before?

Day 1. Official State Visit to Australia

March 14, 2026

King Frederik and Queen Mary arrived in Perth yesterday and were welcomed by Governor Chris Dawson and spouse, Darrilyn Dawson at the Government House.

On March 14th, the couple flew to UluแนŸu in the Northern Territory to officially start their state visit. At the welcoming in UluแนŸu-Kata Tjuแนฏa National Park Cultural Centre, the Queen showed everybody the standard for this whole trip.

Do you remember the blouse? She first wore it in 2004 and it hasn't been seen since. Back then she wore it with a white trousers and a matching belt. More than 20 years later, she style it with a new long Mark Kenly Domino Tan skirt and a Akubra hat.

The couple watched the sunset over UluแนŸu in company of Senior Aแน‰angu. The sun made her stunning jewellery (from Orit Elhanati, Cartier, Dulong Fine Jewelry, Rebekka Notkin and Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen) shine like golden stars. Tomorrow, they will watch the sun rise over UluแนŸu.

European Men's Handball Championchip Final

February 01, 2026

What other than a red and white outfit when cheering for the Danish team playing the European Handhall Championchip final? The game took place in Herning between Denmark and Germany. And what a game it was. Denmark won gold!

Maybe it was the Queen's new La Bagatelle blouse that made the difference? Nevertheless, her new blouse is indeed beautiful. I love when she wear bright colors. She styled the stunning blouse with simple black trousers and a matching red patent leather belt and handbag from Hugo Boss.

Shining in the spotlight were her golden earrings and ring from Dulong Fine Jewelry. I'm not sure about the heeled suede boots. Have we seen them before? Her chic glasses are loved ones from Gucci.

Day 2. Official State Visit to Lithuania

January 29, 2026

Queen Mary looked amazing in her long woolen skirt and soft bordeaux blouse when spending yet another day in Lithuania. She first wore the Max Mara skirt last year when visiting Latvia. Back then she also matched the beautiful skirt with the color of bordeaux. In Lithuania, Mary embraced the look wearing a brand new The Fold London blouse.

The Presidential Couple accompanied the King and Queen when they paid a vist at the Danish-Lithuanian business forum and later at the wreath-laying ceremony at Antakalnis Cemetery. At the cemetery, Mary stayed warm in a reused coat from Uniqlo and a beautiful green Harris Wharf London coat.

Later in the afternoon, the royal couple visited the NBA Basketball School in Vilnius. They joined a training session and for that Mary had changed to a lovely navy blue turtleneck and black Gianvito Rossi boots. Here we also got a better look at her diamond earrings from Sophie Bille Brahe and golden Dulong Fine Jewelry ring. It also showed the best of the brown Celine belt.

I'm sure you noticed her changing boots along they way. The soft light brown boots are old ones from Valentino. My all-time favorite boots of hers.

Official Opening of "Friends in Need"

What is not to like? Mary won my vote for best-dressed at the official opening of the "Friends in Need"-exhibition. They Presidential Couple joined the King and Queen at the opening at the National Library of Lithuania. The exhibition is in honor of the friendship between Denmark and Lithuania.

Mary wore the most beautiful white Andiata suit paired with a reused dusty pink blouse which (unfortunately) has never been identified. The combination of colors and materials are exquisite. The soft curly hairdo added an extra glimpse of glamour to her look. So did the smashing new Julie Sandlau earrings. I'm pretty sure she wore a ring as well but I'm not sure which one.

When the couple arrived at the National Library of Lithuania Mary (once again) wore her fine Harris Wharf London coat. She completed the outfit with stunning beige pointed Prada pumps.

Day 1. Official State Visit to Lithuania

January 28, 2026

Arrival in Vilnius

After a lovely last day in Estonia, King Frederik and Queen Mary flew directly to Lithuania to continue their travel. They landed in Vilnius Airport. The couple are spending two days in Lithuania.

Mary hadn't changed clothes from Estonia to Vilnius. She was still wearing her new grey tweed suit from The Fold London and her reused wool-blend coat from Harris Wharf London. Actually, I'm no big fan of grey but it looks kinda cool matched with green.

She kept warm with a knitted beanie, gloves and heeled black boots. The lovely bag is an iconic design by Ralph Lauren.

Welcoming Ceremony

King Frederik and Queen Mary have arrived in Vilnius, Estonia. President Gitanas Nausรจda and his wife, First Lady Diana Nausรจdienรจ welcomed the royal couple at the Presidential Palace.

Later on, the First Lady accompanied Queen Mary at a visit at the Ukrainian Center in Vilnius. The center is a social meeting place for Ukrainian families and children living in Lithuania.

Finally! This new stunning floral suit is everything I wished for. I truly missed her wearing anything but trousers. Then what's better than a floral printed skirt? I adore Mary's new Erdem set. Its silhouette is simply beautiful. Can't wait to see her wear it in the future.

Mary styled her florals with a reused headpiece created by Jane Taylor and fine white pearl earrings from Dulong Fine Jewelry. Am I the only one who get that vintage-vibe? What is not to love! Even the Mulberry handbag added that sparkle of old-Hollywood.

I get it why she had chosen low-heeled boots because of the snowy weather but I'd loved to have seen the set with anything but boots - which by the way is from Gianvito Rossi.

State Banquet in Vilnius

President Gitanas Nausรจda and First Lady Diana Nausรจdienรจ hosted a magical state banquet at the Presidential Palace to welcomed the King and Queen to Estonia.

The list of invited guests were almost endless. I bet they had a wonderful evening.

Oh..! Mary looked absolutely splendid at the evening state banquet. Don't you think that new bordeaux Elie Saab gown is magnificent? I love everything about it. The slim silhouette, the one-side cape and thin belt. Missed evening gowns.

Not sure I've every really fallen for that antique tiara and matching earrings. Can't tell you why. Maybe because she had so many outstanding pieces of jewellery available and these pieces are a little too simple for an event like this... The the colours looks beautiful next to her fair skin and dark brown hair. We also get a glimpse of her custom-made Dulong Fine Jewelry ruby ring.

Both her Sergio Rossi patent leather box clutch and suede Gianvito Rossi pumps are both reused (and loved) pieces.

"Together without Violence - Pregnant"

January 20, 2026

Queen Mary visited Holbรฆk Hospital celebrating the expansion of the Mary Foundation project Together without Violence - Pregnant. The program is now also introduced to all of Region Sjรฆlland.

Together with Violence - Pregnant aim to train more midwives and professionals in the healthcare system to systematically screen couple expecting a child for among others domestic violence.

The Queen also attended a roundtable meeting and joined a midwives' training day.

I do like her outfit from when she visited Holbรฆk Hospital: the fine grey JOSEPH trousers and her old navy blue Prada blouse, but I really miss her wearing dresses and skirts. The recent years, she has become fond of suits and trousers. Her chic coat is from Arma.

She gave a speech at the visit wearing her Gucci glasses. We haven't seen those black south sea pearl earrings for quite some time. They are crafted by talented jewellery designer Dulong Fine Jewelry. Her matching pearl bracelet is from the same designer. Meanwhile, the golden cuff is a Rebekka Notkin masterpiece.

Mary also embraced the look with a reused Prada belt and a beloved navy blue leather handbag from Prada. Her grey suede heeled boots have been quite a mystery but now they have been identified as Ralph Lauren.

Visiting the Heart Association

January 13, 2026

Queen Mary was warmly welcomed by CEO Morten ร˜rsted-Rasmussen and Head of the Heart Association's health services Louise Svarre Jakobsen when visiting the Heart Association. The two of them introduced their patron to the associations new strategy to strengthen prevention.

In relation, she also met with consultants from Hjertelinjen and the honor of meeting with three patients living with a heart defect. They shared their personal experiences with her.

The Queen has been patron for the Heart Association since 2005.

It is no secret that Mary has become very fond of suits the last 3 or 4 years. She wears them in many colors - black, white, blue and red. This green one from Massimo Dutti has become a personal favorite of hers. This time she matched it with a fine turtleneck jumper. Perfect for the cold weather we have in Denmark right now.

Mary chose to accessorize the suit with a green snakeskin belt. Did you know that is goes back to round 2009? I have never been able to identify it but maybe one day. The beautiful green emerald ring is crafted by Dulong Fine Jewelry such as the other two golden rings. I kinda like the combo of rings.

That black Bottega Veneta bag has always been one of her favorites since 2008. We haven't seen it much in a few years. Looked great with the black suede boots from Gianvito Rossi.

New Year Reception

- Christians VII's Palace, Christian VIII's Palace & Christiansborg

Januar 05, 2026

King Frederik and Queen Mary hosted three New Year Reception at Christians VII's Palace, Christian VIII's Palace and Christiansborg.

The first one was in honor of the Justices of the Supreme Court and the officer corps of the Royal Life Guard and Guard Hussar Regiment. Then followed a reception at Christian VIII's Palace for mayors and regional council chairmen.

Later that day, the royal couple hosted the third New Year Reception for the diplomatic corps' heads of mission, heads of reception from the Faroe Islands and Greenland, and side-accredited ambassadors. All spouses were also invited to the reception at Christiansborg.

The first thing that came to me when I saw Mary in that new blue velvet suit was Queen Margrethe. She loved to wear a specific blue set when she used to host the New Year receptions. It also reminded me of her stunning midnight-blue gown worn in 2006 for the New Year's Eve Banquet. Her beautiful new suit is tailored by talented Jesper Hรธvring. The color looks good on her!

Mary embraced the smashing velvet with white pearl earrings belonging to the Danish Pearl Poirรฉ Parure. The pearl ring matched perfectly. It is mastered by Dulong Fine Jewelry. I love that she chose a clutch is the same color as the rest of her outfit but I'm not sure the Quidam leather clutch was the right one. What do you think? A bit too plain for the occasion.

I am not able to identify her shoes from the photos I have seen. Looks like a simple pair of round-toed suede pumps worn with thick black tights.

Christmas church service

December 24, 2025

Christmas Eve

King Frederik and Queen Mary were accompanied by all four children when attended Christmas church service. Usually, they attended these Christmas church services at Aarhus Cathedral but this year the family enjoyed the evening at Vor Frue church in Copenhagen.

Mary looked great in her stunning orange Max Mara coat! Love it when she wears colorful clothings like this beautiful coat. Mary first wore the coat when visiting Holstebro to celebrate the city's 750th anniversary in 2024. We even had a glimpse of what she was wearing underneath. Turns out to be her Oscar de la Renta dress. It is the same dress that she wore on Christmas Eve in 2021.

The elegant white pearl earrings are rather new ones from Dulong Fine Jewelry but she already worn a number of times. Her black Mulberry handbag was a great addition to the classy outfit. The Prada boots we haven't seen in quite awhile. I love that she bring back all these old accessories.

Christmas Day

King Frederik and Queen Mary also attended a church service on Christmas Day. The church service took place at Vor Frue Church in Copenhagen. Both Crown Prince Christian, Princess Isabella, Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine accompanied their parents.

Grey wide-legged trousers and a simple turtleneck jumper. What is not to like. I kinda fancy the light grey trousers with a darker top. The Harris Wharf London coat made it even more stylish. Mary accessorized the outfit with matching reused heeled boots. I have never been able to identify them. Maybe one day.

Her fine black leather handbag is the same worn as the previous day. It is from Mulberry. Looks great with the black leather gloves. The diamond earrings are from Sophie Bille Brahe.

What's on the agenda?

December 19, 2025

The Mary Foundation's board-members met one last time before Christmas to discuss next years' agenda. They summed up the work of 2025 and talked about the foundation's 20th anniversary in 2027.

They also welcomed Klaus Dallerup and Michael Vad as new members of the board.

This time I REALLY wish we had more photos. I'd love to see her full outfit because the detailing of her blouse are smashing. Reminds me of another one from of hers but I can't seem to find it. Think she could have been wearing matching black trousers.

She wore a rather new Christmas brooch from Bohemehjem. It truly caught the world's attention when she first wore it when visiting Ungeherberget Sporslรธjfen. The earrings earrings and rings were a wonderful addition to the rest of the outfit. So was the custom-made black South Sea pearl ring from Dulong Fine Jewelry.

Queen Mary also took part in several different official events during the day. She both met with the President of Kenya, Dr. Wiliam Samoei Ruto at the UN headquarters and attended a high-level event with the United Nations Environment Assembly. The Queen gave the opening speech.

When meeting the President of Kenya, Mary changed to wear a fine dotted Prada dress. It is a reuse first seen in Paris in 2021. This time she matched it with beige python pumps from Gianvito Rossi. About now, they have traveled the world and seen Nigeria, Belgium, Japan and now Kenya. A clever choice to wear her beige Prada handbag. Great combo, right?

Reception

TEKST

Queen Mary took part in an official reception hosted by the Danish Embassy in Kenya.

What a dreamy outfit Mary wore at the evening reception at the Danish Embassy! The stunning blouse is a design by Jesper Hรธvring. I kinda like the combo of the colors. The skirt is a reused - I guess it could be tailored, but I still don't know where it is from.

Mary matched the outfit with an old bronze clutch from Mulberry. I was thrilled to see her wear an old goodie like this. I'm even more amazed to see the peep-toe pumps from Christian Louboutin. I really missed these pieces. We haven't seen them in years.

Another piece I'm almost shocked to see is the custom-made necklace from Ali Al Awssi. Mary first wore this necklace in 2004! Her diamond studded bracelet is Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen and the earrings are from Louise Grรธnlykke. Seem like she had them altered. I like the shorter version.
