Day 1. Official State Visit to Lithuania

January 28, 2026

Arrival in Vilnius

After a lovely last day in Estonia, King Frederik and Queen Mary flew directly to Lithuania to continue their travel. They landed in Vilnius Airport. The couple are spending two days in Lithuania.

Mary hadn't changed clothes from Estonia to Vilnius. She was still wearing her new grey tweed suit from The Fold London and her reused wool-blend coat from Harris Wharf London. Actually, I'm no big fan of grey but it looks kinda cool matched with green.

She kept warm with a knitted beanie, gloves and heeled black boots. The lovely bag is an iconic design by Ralph Lauren.

Welcoming Ceremony

King Frederik and Queen Mary have arrived in Vilnius, Estonia. President Gitanas Nausèda and his wife, First Lady Diana Nausèdienè welcomed the royal couple at the Presidential Palace.

Later on, the First Lady accompanied Queen Mary at a visit at the Ukrainian Center in Vilnius. The center is a social meeting place for Ukrainian families and children living in Lithuania.

Finally! This new stunning floral suit is everything I wished for. I truly missed her wearing anything but trousers. Then what's better than a floral printed skirt? I adore Mary's new Erdem set. Its silhouette is simply beautiful. Can't wait to see her wear it in the future.

Mary styled her florals with a reused headpiece created by Jane Taylor and fine white pearl earrings from Dulong Fine Jewelry. Am I the only one who get that vintage-vibe? What is not to love! Even the Mulberry handbag added that sparkle of old-Hollywood.

I get it why she had chosen low-heeled boots because of the snowy weather but I'd loved to have seen the set with anything but boots - which by the way is from Gianvito Rossi.

State Banquet in Vilnius

President Gitanas Nausèda and First Lady Diana Nausèdienè hosted a magical state banquet at the Presidential Palace to welcomed the King and Queen to Estonia.

The list of invited guests were almost endless. I bet they had a wonderful evening.

Oh..! Mary looked absolutely splendid at the evening state banquet. Don't you think that new bordeaux Elie Saab gown is magnificent? I love everything about it. The slim silhouette, the one-side cape and thin belt. Missed evening gowns.

Not sure I've every really fallen for that antique tiara and matching earrings. Can't tell you why. Maybe because she had so many outstanding pieces of jewellery available and these pieces are a little too simple for an event like this... The the colours looks beautiful next to her fair skin and dark brown hair. We also get a glimpse of her custom-made Dulong Fine Jewelry ruby ring.

Both her Sergio Rossi patent leather box clutch and suede Gianvito Rossi pumps are both reused (and loved) pieces.

Day 2. Official State Visit to Estonia

January 28, 2026

King Frederik and Queen Mary spend their send and last day in Estonia by visiting the CR14 - a national cyber range.

Then followed a return event hosted by the royal couple with the Presidential Couple guests of honor. The reception took place at the Town Hall at Old Market Square.

The couple were then off by plain to continue their official state visit in Lithuania.

I do like a good old suit but somehow I wish Mary would soon wear something else. She most often wear suits and has been for a couple of years now. I really miss her wearing a dress for everyday events.

The tweed suit worn on their second day in Estonia is a new one from The Fold London. Love that she embraced the style with that reused black leather belt from Celine. Looks good. Her dark green wool-blend coat is an old one from Harris Wharf London.

As accessorized, Mary had chosen beloved glasses from Gucci and diamond earrings from Sophie Bille Brahe. A closer look revealed her also wearing a fine golden ring from Rebekka Notkin.

She matched the black belt with heeled suede boots (possible new) and the most incredible Mulberry handbag. I adore this kind of handbag. 100% unpractical but 100% amazing.

Christmas church service

December 24, 2025

Christmas Eve

King Frederik and Queen Mary were accompanied by all four children when attended Christmas church service. Usually, they attended these Christmas church services at Aarhus Cathedral but this year the family enjoyed the evening at Vor Frue church in Copenhagen.

Mary looked great in her stunning orange Max Mara coat! Love it when she wears colorful clothings like this beautiful coat. Mary first wore the coat when visiting Holstebro to celebrate the city's 750th anniversary in 2024. We even had a glimpse of what she was wearing underneath. Turns out to be her Oscar de la Renta dress. It is the same dress that she wore on Christmas Eve in 2021.

The elegant white pearl earrings are rather new ones from Dulong Fine Jewelry but she already worn a number of times. Her black Mulberry handbag was a great addition to the classy outfit. The Prada boots we haven't seen in quite awhile. I love that she bring back all these old accessories.

Christmas Day

King Frederik and Queen Mary also attended a church service on Christmas Day. The church service took place at Vor Frue Church in Copenhagen. Both Crown Prince Christian, Princess Isabella, Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine accompanied their parents.

Grey wide-legged trousers and a simple turtleneck jumper. What is not to like. I kinda fancy the light grey trousers with a darker top. The Harris Wharf London coat made it even more stylish. Mary accessorized the outfit with matching reused heeled boots. I have never been able to identify them. Maybe one day.

Her fine black leather handbag is the same worn as the previous day. It is from Mulberry. Looks great with the black leather gloves. The diamond earrings are from Sophie Bille Brahe.

First the couple attended a ceremony at Kastellet. They paid their respect with a moment of silence and a beautiful wreath placed at the Monument for Denmark's Internal Effort since 1948. After the official ceremony the royal couple attended a church service at Holmens Church. Followed by an official parade of the Danish Armed Forces at Christiansborg.

The couple arrived at the Paris-Orly Airport and were then welcomed by the France Presidential Couple at the Court d'Honneur at Hôtel National des Invalide - also known as Les Invalides.

They were escorted from Les Invalides to the Élysée Pakace for the official welcoming ceremony. The Danish business delegation accompanied the King and Queen.

NO outfit will ever surpass this outfit! Nothing. I have many favorite outfits but her outfit at the arrival in Paris earlier today will surpass all of them. Probably also in the future. Mary's new Christian Dior set is marvelous! The style of it is so 1950's. I adore it.

It dosen't end with that because Mary perfectly matched the style with a reused black Jane Taylor hat and smashing sky-high Gianvito Rossi pumps. Not quite sure I would have chosen those heels but it looks great. The Mulberry handbag was such a clever move.

I am sure you noticed her choice in jewellery as well. The stunning white pearl earrings and the matching brooch are both pieces part of the Danish Pearl Poiré Parure. The elegant ring is a custom-made creation from Dulong Fine Jewelry.

We are treated like King's and Queen's at this state visit. Mary's shows all the best of her style. 1950's inspired Dior suits and now this! Her beautiful new blouse has been found at CLEA - a brand new designer in her wardrobe. Mary styled it with a smashing floral silk skirt from Lasse Spangenberg Copenhagen. Imagine your design worn at an event like this?! Must be such an honor.

She embraced the outfit with huge golden diamond earrings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen designed by Charlotte Lynggaard - daughter of Lynggaard's founder, Ole Lynggaard. The blue Aquamarine ring goes way back in time but has never been identified. Maybe from an auction?

Her amazing pearl embroidered clutch is from Anya Hindmarch and the fine beige satin pumps are from Gianvito Rossi.

Day 2. Official state visit to Finland

05 March 2025

King Frederik and Queen Mary are on an official state visit to Finland these days by invitation of Finland's President Alexander Stubb.

They first accompanied each other for a visit at EMMA - Espoo Museum of Modern Art were they were given a guided tour around the museum. Then followed a visit at the Arkki School of Architecture for Children and Youth.

The couple also paid a visit the Aalto University and the Porkkala Garrison in Upinniemi. In between these two visits the royal couple attended a seminar about green financing followed by a business lunch.

Wish she would have worn another color coat. Don't think this bright color stands well with a soft grey. What are your thoughts? Princess Isabella has been seen wearing the Dolce & Gabbana coat at a premiere in Tivoli in 2024. Likely she borrowed it from her mother. I think Isabella wore it better.

Mary had chosen a reused embellished Prada jumper and wide-legged JOSEPH trousers. I kinda like the monochrome vibe. Looks great with her fair skin and brown hair. During the day she added a new navy blue down coat from Uniqlo.

A closer look revealed that she wore earrings that comes with a very special background. They belonged to Queen Margrethe and was a gift for Mary around 2012. Her ring matched perfect in color.

She topped off the look with a black leather handbag from Mulberry and midi heeled boots in grey suede. Mary has worn them before but I am still not sure if they correct designer has been found.

Reciprocal arrangement

In the evening King Frederik and Queen Mary hosted a reciprocal arrangement in Finlandia Hall with the Finnish President and his spouse Mrs. Innes-Stubb as guests of honor. Denmark's ambassador to Findland, Jakob Nymann-Lindegren also attended the arrangement along with other ministers.

King Frederik gave a finial speech with a thanks to the Presidential couple for their kind invitation.

This is not the first chalky white suits Mary has in her closet but this one has never been seen before - except from the trousers. The suit is from Finnish Andiata. Mary first wore the trousers in Paris on occasion of the official opening of the Olympic Games in 2024. At the reciprocal arrangement she wore the trousers with its matching blazer and vest.

Mary embraced the style with stunning golden earrings and a necklace from Dulong Fine Jewelry. She has the same earrings studded with diamonds but I am pretty sure it is the first time she wears a pair without any diamonds. The yellow diamond ring has been seen on a number of previous occasions.

The white pearl clutch from Anya Hindmarch and those golden leather pumps from Malone Souliers are a wonderful addition to a great outfit.

Presentation of the DI Prize 2022

27th September 2022

For some years, Crown Princess Mary has been guest of honor at the DI Summit to present the DI Prize (here) (here). It was also the case this year. The summit (and award ceremony) took place in Royal Arena.

Crown Princess Mary arrived to Royal Arena and was warmly welcomed by the President and CEO of COWI and chairman of Danish Industry Lars-Peter Søbye and managing director of Danish Industry Lars Sandahl Sørensen. She was accompanied by the two of them the whole ceremony.

Before presenting the winning company, Crown Princess Mary gave a speech on the occasion (here). Kamstrup A/S received the prestiges DI Prize 2022 because of their special effort making Denmark a climate leader in the world through technological or digital product development. Congratulations to Kamstrup A/S.

Mary was super chic and business-like dressed at the presentation of the DI Prize 2022 in Royal Arena. She had chosen to wear her amazing suit from Alexander McQueen paired with a blue blouse. She has become very fond of these simple blouses. I was able to identify it as Hugo Boss.

As accessories, Mary wore matching grey suede pointed pumps from Gianvito Rossi. Not the usual hight, but something a bit more midi. Makes a great and comfortable outfit. I am sure you also noticed her wearing a brand new grey Mulberry bag. She has the same model in dusty pink (here).

Actually, Mary also wore quite a few pieces of jewellery, but they blended in with the rest of her outfit with such perfection you hardly noticed them. The two golden necklaces are reused creation from Dulong Fine Jewelry. Love the two of them worn together. A closer look revealed that she was also wearing a couple of diamond rings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. In my dreams, I own one of them myself.

Christening in Aalborg

Saturday, April 28th

During the weekend, Crown Princess Mary participated the christening of Holger Skeel in Aalborg.  The ceremony took place in Budolfi church, where family and friends were gathered. She attended the ceremony on her own, while Crown Prince Frederik and the children waited at the Skeel family's house. Lunch was held after the christening at the location where the rest of the Crown Prince family stayed.

With a little help from Heaven I am able to tell you a that Mary wore a brand new embroidered dress from Vilshenko at the christening. Somehow, I have really come to love this dress. Especially the decorations makes me stare. Vilshenko is know for these significant patterns and Mary wear it perfectly. She embraced a beautiful spring outfit by wearing a new, nude bag from Mulberry and matching pink Gianvito Rossi pumps. Heaven is the one who managed to identify the bag as well. Even though powder pink and black are diametrically opposed of each other, Mary makes it work to perfection. Actually we often see her wear a darker colour along with something very fair -like black an powder pink. As jewellery she had chosen, what looks like a new, bracelet from Dulong Fine Jewelry (collection: SS18 Limited Edition). Also the golden ring and rose quartz drop earrings are from Dulong Fine Jewelry. Wish I could tell you more about the necklace, but I guess it is her golden piece from Orit Elhanati.

"He Named Me Malala"

Sunday, October 25th

Crown Princess Mary attended the premier of the documentary He named me Malala at the Grand Theatre in Copenhagen.

It is all about world peace. "Me and Malala share the same vision. We want a peaceful world. I admire her" these are the words the Crown Princess chose when she arrived to the Grand Theatre in Copenhagen on Sunday to watch the documentary He named me Malala which has its premiere in Denmark the same day. It was 3:00 pm when she arrived to the theatre. This gala premiere was also to mark the start of Copenhagen International Documentary Film Festival, CPH:DOX, -one of the largest documentary film festivals in the world. Every year since 2013, Copenhagen cinemas are filled with over 200 specially selected documents from around the world. It's quite interesting to read about the project and if you want to read a little more you find it here.
The Crown Princess and the the Pakistani girl Malala, which the documentary is about, have more then one thing in common despite living a world apart. They both work for a better world where women and girls have more rights and better living conditions. The reason why Malala became known across the globe was because she defied the Taliban and told her opinion on child and women's rights in connection with school. At the time the press was all over her to hear what she had to say. Almost everyone in the world had heard about this Pakistani girl who almost was killed by a terrorist attack because of her statement. She survived and told her story; a question on why we need to control our own life. This 18 year old girl, Malala Yousafzai, has been able in a very short time to share her message and stand up for girl's and women. For her incredible work and courage she has also received several awards: The United Nations Human Rights Prize (2013), the Mother Teresa Award (2012), the Simone de Beauvoir award (2013) and of course the Nobel Peace Prize (2014) as the youngest recipient ever. Very impressive young woman.

In her grey wool Massimo Dutti coat, worn at a previously event, Mary arrived in the afternoon to watch the documentary I just talked so much about. She seemed happy at the arrival and even took the time to take pictures with some of attendees standing outside the cinema. No rush at all. After, she shortly spoke with the press while she was headed to find her seat and watch the documentary. Wearing ankle boots which I think is from Gianvito Rossi and her grey Mulberry body-cross bag featuring a golden chain shoulder strap. Despite the fact that this is quite an event we only have a very few pictures of her, non without the coat. So it's a little hard for me to tell exactly what she was wearing underneath. What we see is a white collar probably from a button-down shirt and a navy blue sweater, but this gives us at least two options: either she's wearing a white button-down and a sweater over (this is a combo we have seen before) or her JOSEPH blouse that are designed to look like she is wearing a white button-down underneath. I know it sounds complicated, still I hope you understand what I mean about all this. I think it is very likely that she is wearing her JOSEPH jumper because I see similarities with the two collars. Think I see her diamond earrings from Hartmann's as well.

Chrismas Concert in Copenhagen

December has arrived to Denmark and the turtleneck is back. In the winter and fall Mary wear them regularly, at the Christmas concert a white one, and believe me when I say; you can't live without them when you have had one. With focus on her upper body, she had chosen to wear one of my favourite short jackets from Mauro Grifoni, as we saw her in at a football games with Prince Christian. If I'm correct, it was worn with the same white turtleneck. The lower part of her body was in dark colours - black trousers and black ankle boots from Mulberry.

As usual, Mary received a beautiful bouquet when she arrived to the church. From the arrival to the leaving both Princess Isabella and her sister Princess Josephine got the chance to carry Mary's wonderful flower bouquet. So sweet.

I would so much like to copy her outfit from the concert, its simple and modern. The look would be great for any occasion. She added a brand new blue suede bag to the outfit and thanks to Charlotte we know that it's from Sergio Rossi Spring/Summer 2012. As far as I know this is the first bag from that designer. I could be wrong.

Christmas Seal Homes for 100 year

October, 29

Crown Princess Mary attended the launch of this years christmas stamp 2012 which is designed by Carl Quist Møller. She's the patron of the Christmas Seal Homes (Julemærkehjem). This is also the 100 year of anniversary for the stamps - 1912 to 2012.

What is the Christmas Seal Homes?
In Denmark we have four of these homes for children who struggles with social isolation and bullying. Each year over 750 children, in the age of 7-14 years old, get help from the Christmas Sea Homes. The children stays there for 10 weeks and does also learn about eating health food and what excise is good for. The money from the selling of the stamps goes to these homes. Support the homes and read much more about all of it here and see the stamps here.

October is a month where the weather in Denmark is getting cold and rainy. To keep warm Mary was dressed in a navy blue turtleneck, which you can't live without and they are pretty inexpensive, and over she wore a black Prada jacket with sequins. It's a jacket we have seen her wear several times and there is an associated skirt. After her speech she stepped down from the rostrum we had a clear view to the boots, a pair of black ankle boots from Mulberry with the beautiful name Tillie. The classic bag from Bottega Veneta we all know. I think it is a great honor for Mary each year to publish the new Christmas stamps where the money goes to help many Danish children every single year and I hope that we this year once again can collect lots of money the children and this years stamps are really sweet!

Lovely to see her wear the Hugo Boss dress again and with a yellow belt we really had the chance to see her amazing figure. The dress is a reuse. I'm not a big fan of the pattern but Mary make it work so well. She wears the dress with elegance. The simplicity of her outfit was completed by the gold jewellery from Marianne Dulong. I know, I keep saying that she inspires me and I'll say it again - to find a woman with so much personality and at the same time so much style. Fashion pass, Style remain! Throughout the day she changed both shoes and bag. She switched between her beige Ralph Lauren and a pair of grey patent ballet flats. To match the the brown colours in her dress she started the day with the Aicha Carlend Copenhagen clutch and later the amazing fuchsia Mulberry bag.

Crown Princess Mary visiting the Fernandes Institute

WoOw! I have irregular heartbeats right now because of her outfit on there fifth day in Brazil. If I was a bit taller I would wear jumpsuit all the time, unfortunately that's not an possibility. Mary was wearing a stunning jumpsuit from Style Butler (Autumn/Winter 2012) identified by Kate. It has already gained lots of critics, me only comment to that is - I LOVE IT no matter what everyone else think! Again she has chosen the nice sandals from Ralph Lauren. Kate is also the one who found the right model of her gorgeous Mulberry bag. We thanks her. It makes her outfit stand even more out. Love the mix of textures, colours and patterns. Custom-made is her earrings and made by Marianne Dulong such as the ring is from the same designer.

Where does she get her inspiration from?! I would so much like to now. To me she's a great inspiration, both her personality and her style; to me that's a part of her style. At the dinner Mary was just amazing in her blue and white, new, Jesper Høvring (Spring/Summer 2013) dress and side hairstyle. The dress was identified by Kate. What else then wear her grey Gianvito Rossi pumps and a brand new grey Marc Jacobs clutch - am I right? Without the help from Pernille I haven't been able to let you know where the clutch is from. She once again was a great help to me!
