Crown Princess Mary attended a conference with the Mary Foundation and TrygFonden about social exclusion in Denmark. The conference took place in Copenhagen.
For nearly 10 years, the Mary Foundation has been working to combat social isolation in Denmark among children, young people and adults. On Thursday the Crown Princess attended a conference with the Mary Foundation and one of their collaborators TrygFonden. She arrived around 9:30 am. and was warmly welcomed. In front of all the other attendance, she entered the stage and gave the opening speech. She also presented a video about community and launched a new study on welfare. Later on the Crown Princess watched a presentation by Lars Benjaminsen, on the very same study she had just launched. From front raw Mary and Minister of Social Affairs Mai Mercado, sincerely and with great interest followed a panel debate on social exclusion. Several issues were presented along with suggestions to improve these. Hopefully the Crown Princess and all the other attendance got a lot of inspiration for their further work.
Arriving to the conference with the Mary Foundation and TrygFonden, Mary was beautifully dressed all in red! She had chosen to wear a reused red Dolce & Gabbana dress and it looks splendid on her. We have seen it a couple of times before and I love it even more now. The colour and silhouette are just perfect. The red tweed jacket is brand new and with help from Heaven it has been identified as YDE Copenhagen. She embraced a chic and lady-like style with golden jewellery from Orit Elhanati, Cartier, Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen and a pair of wonderful diamond earrings from Hartmann's. As when she visited Paris a couple of days before, here, Mary had chosen her beige Prada handbag. Makes my wanna have something similar. For year's I have had a special item to add to my personal wardrobe -a pair of red pumps. So far I still do not such a pair of pumps because I haven't found the right model yet. Looking at Mary's Gianvito Rossi pumps makes me wish I could afford these. I am pretty sure we have seen the red suede pumps once before; at Prince Felix's confirmation in April, here. At the time I suggested Gianvito Rossi but not everyone agreed with me. I still believe he is the designer, especially after the conference. Could you see yourself wear this much red? Even her nail were red!!
