Visit at WeShelter's food club

17. December 2024

Since 1893 WeShelter has worked to provide better conditions for the homeless and socially disadvantaged in Denmark. Queen Mary became patron of WeShelter in May of 2024.

WeShelter's social food club that offers a meeting place for those who are having a hard time in life. A place to gather and not be alone. The food club is part of the social psychiatric center NABO Center Amager.

On December 17th the Queen visited WeShelter's food club who meet once a week. She met with both the volunteers and participants. They really seemed to have a great time! The participants gladly talked to the Queen about being part of the food club and how it has helped them.

The weather in Denmark is really cold, windy and rainy these days, so I truly get it why Mary had chosen her wool-blend ARMA coat and knitted Max Mara vest. Everything to keep warm in this horrible weather. She style the fine vest with grey JOSEPH trousers and what looks like a black button-down. Hard to tell which one.

Mary kept the outfit simple. She only wore a few accessories - a couple of diamond earrings and a beloved Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen diamond ring. The earrings goes way back but have never been identified. Maybe they are custom-made?

She matched the trousers with grey suede ankle boots. With what I see, I think they could be new. We also get a glimpse of her grey leather bag from Tod's in the car at her arrival.

Remember to follow my royal Christmas calendar and the royals own Advent calendar.

Summer in Gråsten

09 July 2024

Welcoming at Gråsten town square

King Frederik, Queen Mary and the twins Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine are staying at Gråsten Castle in Gråsten during the summer.

On July 09, the royal couple arrived in Gråsten and walked from the town square to the castle. They are greeted with flowers, smiles, flags and handshakes by the citizens of Gråsten.

The King and Queen were also officially welcomed by Sønderborg municipality's city council at the old town hall.

I really love Mary's new ME+EM dress! The soft green print. The length and small cap-sleeves. Its details are simply beautiful. Nothing less than the perfect summer dress. I am not quite sure I like the Canopy Bay by Deborah Hutton hat with the dress. Mary has so many stunning hats that would fit the look way better. What do you think?

She styled the outfit with reused peep-toe wedges from Tod's. Do you recall that Mary also wore them staying at Gråsten in 2015? Twice actually. At Gråsten Ring Riding Association parade and at the weekly changing of the guards a few days later.

The fine golden necklaces are from Halberstadt and Dulong Fine Jewelry. The last designer also created her diamond bracelet and wonderful ring.

Changing of the guards

Tradition tells that the Royal Lifeguard performe changing of the guards every Friday, when the ruling King (or Queen) are present at Gråsten Castle. This is King Frederik and Queen Mary's first changing of the guards at Gråsten as ruling couple.

I recall twice in her time as Crown Princess when she has worn a long cardigan and that wasn't even cardigans. In 2004, when attending the wedding of Rikke Juel and Michael Brandt, and at Princess Benedikte's 60th birthday. At the parade at Gråsten, Mary wore a brand new long Mirror in the Sky tie-dye cardigan. Haven't really embraced the tie-dye trend. Have you? She matched it with a plain while blouse and skirt.

She has become fond of wearing her golden diamond bracelet from Dulong Fine Jewelry and initial necklaces also from Dulong Fine Jewelry. Her second necklace is Halberstadt.

Her new sandals are identify as Arteana. Wish I could wearing such sandals, but my feet won't work with them properly. The sunglasses are from Thierry Lasry.

Changing of the guards

The royal family are staying at Gråsten Castle in Gråsten during the summer. Like many other, the family enjoy a well-deserved vacation from everyday duties. On July 19th, the family watched the weekly changing of the guards.

Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine spend time at Gråsten during their summer break from school. Queen Margrethe also arrived to Gråsten, which means that King Frederik and Queen Mary are now accompanied by Prince Gustav, his wife Princess Carina and their two children - Prince Gustav Albrecht and Princess Mafalda, Queen Margrethe and the twins.

Seems like Mary loves wearing maxi skirts this summer. First a simple white one on July 12th and a brand new one on July 19th. This new floral printed skirt has been identified as Forte Forte. I love the fine print of flowers - and the fact that it is matching her husbands purple braided belt!

She accessorized the outfit with golden earrings from Dulong Fine Jewelry and a custom-made ring. The diamond necklace is Halberstadt. Looks like she is wearing two, but I haven't seen a photo of the second one. Not to tell which one she is wearing.

Her cool sandals are from Arteana.

Hubertus Hunt 2022

06 November 2022

The Hubertus Hunt is an annual event taking place in Dyrehaven, Klampenborg. Always on the first Sunday in November.

For many years, members of the Crown Prince family have attended the Hubertus Hunt. They watched the race from the Eremitage Castle laying centered in Dyrehaven.

Since the beginning of the 1900th hundred, riders participating the hunt has hunted a fox with the help from dogs. Today, the fox has been replaced by a rider with a fox tale. During the hunt, the riders are to handle 32 obstacles.

This year, Princess Josephines accompanied her mother. Also when she was to present the winner of Crown Princess Mary's Honourary Award. The award was first given in the name of Queen Ingrid and later on Prince Henrik handed over the award in his name. After his death, his daughter-in-law took over the prestiges honor.

It was truly a pleasure to see mother and daughter spending a day together. Of course, you noticed that Princess Josephines borrowed her mother's coat for the event. Meanwhile, Mary kept warm in something as chic. One of my favourite events a year, is the Hubertus Hunt. Primarily, because of Mary's outfits. I love these brownish, warm and casual outfits.

This year, Mary had chosen to wear a dark green turtleneck and reused tweed trousers. Unfortunately, I have never been able to identify the trousers - even though I'd love to! In 2012, she was very fond of these trousers (here). Thrilled to see them again after all these years.

I learned from Heaven that her jacket is from Dubarry. She also informed me that one of her friends, were able to identify Mary's greenish quilted vest is a Seeland design. Great findings, right?

Believe she was wearing brown suede boots, but I am troubled to say for sure. She was also carrying her Tod's leather tote. The navy blue hat was an amazing accessory for the event. It is from Bonpoint.

The People's Movement against Loneliness' conference and Opening of "2030 NOW"

01 September 2022

Crown Princess Mary was about to attended two very important events. One in Herning and another one in Sønderborg.

First, the Crown Princess traveled to Herning to attended the People's Movement against Loneliness' conference. She participated the conference along with the Mary Foundation. The foundation has been part of the People's Movement against Loneliness' leading group the last seven years.

At the conference, representatives from the more than 80 companies, schools, organisations etc., who are part of the movement, gathered to open up the discussion about loneliness.

Crown Princess Mary gave the opening speech with focus on how important it is for all of us to speak about loneliness. This is the first step to create awareness of the issue.

Later in the afternoon, the Crown Princess ended up in Sønderborg to attend the official opening of "2030 NOW". An exhibition focusing on the UN's 17 World Goals and what the achievement of these goals will bring. This was exhibited in photos and art.

By attending the opening, Crown Princess Mary supported the significance of the world goals and how to act to fulfill them. The event takes place in both Sønderborg, Aalborg, Copenhagen and Aarhus.

Mary looked so beautiful in that colorful skirt and simple white button-down. More than once, she has worn such a midi skirt with a plain blouse. I really like this combination because it works a stunning balance. Actually, Mary was wearing a similar outfit, when visiting Burkina Faso in October 2021 (here). Unfortunately, the wonderful skirt has never been identified. Do you know anything about it? - other than it is incredibly beautiful.

Taking the stand and given her opening speech, Mary added a pair of Tom Ford glasses to the look. The golden Rebekka Notkin bangle and diamond ring were a great choice. So was the Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen ring. Like it, when she wears multiple rings at the same time.

I learned about her brand new Malone Souliers from Kate. They are the same design as those new ones she wore at the presentation of this years Carlsberg Foundation's Research Award 2022 (here). Not quite sure if I am a big fan of them, but Mary wear them with such elegance. Later, when attending the opening of "2030 NOW", she changed shoes to Tod's wedges.

At the conference in Herning, Mary also showed us her chic Ralph Lauren tote bag. The one in beige.

The end of "Copenhagen 2021"

21 August

I truly think, Crown Princess Mary has been looking forward to these days of celebration, dialogue, communication, debates and gathering people from near and far. This is what Copenhagen 2021 did this year and Crown Princess Mary was patron for the event.

On August 21st it was time to gather one last time. The end ceremony of Copenhagen 2021 took place in Fælledparken in Copenhagen. The Crown Princess was in a splendid mood, when she arrived to Fælledparken. Minister of Culture and Church Ane Halsboe-Jørgensen, Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen and Mayor of the City of Copenhagen Lars Weiss warmly welcomed the Crown Princess. So did, Lars Henriksen - spokesperson for Copenhagen Pride.

Along with six different pride parade, Crown Princess Mary entered the stage and gave a remarkable speech. Personally, I like how she ended her speech. With few words she managed to sum up something very important: we need to keep our strength and remember that many di believe in the concept; that we all belong to one global community. She also encourages people to stand strong, united and safe. Read her speech here.

The Crown Princess was popular as always, but it seems like she was a bit more in focus at the ending ceremony in Fælledparken. Everybody wanted to get a photo with her, speak with her, shake her hand. We rarely see her on a selfie, but that changed at the ceremony.

I love all the photos we have from the ceremony. Mary looks all relaxed and comfortable - also in what she was wearing. For the event, she has chosen a simple white button-down blouse and a brand new colorful skirt. I guess, we have seen her wear the blouse on a number of previous occasions, but the skirt was worn for the very first time. I learned that this new piece is from Zimmermann and that makes sense. The style, print and colors are what to "expect" from Zimmermann.

Even though her clothes are interesting, I think her accessories are a bit more eye-catching. And Mary wore lots of jewellery. The rather large golden earrings are from talented Dulong Fine Jewelry. One of her necklaces (the medium length one) is created by the same designer, such as one of her bracelets. I really like how she matched all these pieces of jewellery with her outfit. She also wore two other necklaces - one from Orit Elhanati and the last one is Rebekka Notkin design. Cartier and Rebekka Notkin are the creators of her two other bangles. Close-ups made me aware that Mary embraced the style with several rings as well. She matched a brand new golden ring from Dulong Fine Jewelry with a trinity ring featuring green stones.

Her beautiful tote is new. A photo reveal that it is from Prada. It looked stunning with the rest of her outfit and nude peep-toe wedges from Tod's. Incredible look!

European Championships in dressage

19 August

Crown Princess Mary was on a private mission when she arrived to Rotterdam in the Netherlands (probably) earlier this week. She had traveled to the Netherlands to support the Danish teams participating the European Championships in dressage - also know as the Longines FEI European Championships.

When staying in Rotterdam she met with, among others, Helle Krasnik Trolle who shared a photo of the Crown Princess in a barn with rider Cathrine Dufour and one of the winning horses. Because the Danish team actually did qualify to compete next year in the Olympics in Tokyo.

She was also spotted later on closely following the Danish teams participating the championship. Also Princess Nathalie attended the exiting days in the Netherlands. She herself has been one of those top riders. Now she work as coach for the dressage team.

When she was first spotted in Rotterdam with rider Cathrine Dufour and her horse, the Crown Princess was dressed in simple black fitted jeans, a white shirt, a bluish blazer with a rather interesting pocket from SANDRO and what looks like light brown suede shoes. Heaven identified her new blazer. With glasses keeping her hair from falling gown into her eyes Mary looked all comfortable and chic. Am I the only one who noticed how long her hair has grown? Wish my hair reached that length, but not quite yet.

The following day Mary looked super hot in a casual button-down shirt, a pullover and a reused black skirt from Apiece Apart. I absolutely love this combo. Instead of the "traditional" black fitted trousers most of us would wear with that top Mary dazzled in a midi skirt. Clever. She topped off the outfit with Ray Ban sunglasses, a Tod's leather handbag and brand new Nike sneakers. Nor shades or tote are new, but the sneakers are. Heaven managed to identify the model, here. I am going to try this outfit myself - that is for sure.

Dag 2. A visit to Kenya

Wednesday, November 28th

In secrecy Crown Princess Mary traveled to Kenya accompanies by Minister of Development, Ulla Tørnæs. The two of them arrived on Tuesday in Kalama, here. It was all unannounced because of terrorist threat in the country. Visiting Kenya is all about promoting girls and women's rights, well-being, health and economic independence through local organisations and projects. Among others, the Crown Princess and Minister of Development visited the organisation Northern Rangelands Trust that are supported by the Danish International Development Agency (DANIDA).

On her second and last day in Kenya Crown Princess Mary visited Nairobi. Here she and Minister of Development, Ulla Tørnæs attended the launch of a new campaign by Women Deliver. The campaign is called 'Deliver for Good' and work to improve equality and bettering chances for girls and women in Kenya. Crown Princess Mary has on numerous occasions been involved in the work Women Deliver. The launch of Women Deliver's latest projects took place at Radisson Blu Hotel. Like she had all the time in the world, she walked around the conference room and listened carefully to everything she was told. Impressive how she manages to be present the way she is.

After the big lunch Crown Princess Mary switched location and visited the Kibera Slum. She was given the chance to visit Action Foundation. The organisation support children, young people and mothers with handicaps - support them to a better life. Even though this organisation do what they do best hundreds of miles from where I live; it makes me proud that the world has such organisations.

The Crown Princess also met with Elizabeth Okumu. She has created a mentor program for young mothers and their children. This programs teaches about sexual health and reproductive rights.

I bet the Crown Princess had two very emotional and educational days in Kenya. Or at least that is my impression after having seen her photos and read her statements shared on the royal family's Instagram, here, here, here. You find all of it here.

Day 1. A visit to Kenya

Tuesday, November 27th

Crown Princess Mary surprised all of us when she suddenly showed up in Kalama in Kenya on Tuesday. The visit had been kept a secret till yesterday because of the terrorist threat in the country. The Crown Princess was accompanied by Minster of Development, Ulla Tørnæs on the two days visit. Visiting Kenya primarily had one focus, to promote girls and women's well-being, rights and economic independence through different local projects and organisation.

Along with the Minster of Development she was warmly welcomed with singing and dancing at the arrival to Kalama in Samburu Country. They were met by lots of happy faces and with welcoming words. What I have been able to find out, then the two of them also visited the Kalama Conservancy. At the conservancy Crown Princess Mary had the chance to met some of the local women who benefited from Danish support. With that support they have been able to created their sustainable businesses.

Gender equality is what this two days visit was all about. Something the Crown Princess has been working on to improve for years now. Especially by focusing on girls and women's rights, health and well-being. She and Minister of Development, Ulla Tørnæs, also visited the organisation Northern Rangelands Trust that are supported by DANIDA - Danish International Development Agency.

During the visit in Kalama on Tuesday, her and Minister of Delvelopment seemed to had a great time. They were both (quickly) dressed properly in traditional African dresses including colourful headpieces and beadwork. Simply a wonderful sight. The colourful clothes covered her light blue button-down shirt, beige trousers and matching sneakers. With sunnies she protected her eye from the sun and carried her belongings in a tote bag.

Mixed news from this week

-Family time in Tivoli-
Let us begin on Saturday October 6th. The Crown Princess was accompanied by all four children when attending the family Musical "The Magical Mask", here. The musical is performed in Glassalen in Tivoli, Copenhagen. Time for a family moment, here. Guess the Crown Prince did not attend with his family because at the time he was on duty in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The Crown Princess embraced a chic style by wearing a Valentino skirt, here, a dusty pink Prada jacket and a tote bag from Tod's, here.

-Business meeting-
On October 9th the Crown Princess participated a meeting as Chairwoman of the Mary Foundation, at Amalienborg Castle along with creative CEO of MOTOR agency, Carsten Michelsen to create a design ready for Christimas. Also CEO of the Mary Foundation, Helle Østergaard attended the meeting. The Mary Foundation shared this post on Facebook on occasion of the meeting, including a little something on greeting those you care for - not only for Christimas. All relaxed the Crown Princess was dressed in a dusty pink turtleneck found by Heaven at ZARA, here.

For months Queen Margrethe has worked on a brand new exhibition called "Eventyrdronningen" (The Fairy Tale Queen). It is exhibited at Amalienborg Museum in Copenhagen. Much has already been shared from the process of making the exhibition and from its official opening as well. Now it was time for the Crown Prince family to visit the exhibition. They enjoy a little quality time on Friday 12th of October.

60 years of anniversary for 'Granbohus'

Tuesday, May 29th

After a week of celebration for her husband, who just turned 50 on May 26th, the Crown Princess is back at work. She began her week with an anniversary visit in Fredensborg. Here the Crown Princess visited Granbohus that celebrated 60 years of anniversary. Ten years ago she visited the institution on its 50th anniversary, here. It was a happy reunion, when she arrived to Granbohus which is a vacation and relief institution for home-grown children, adolescents and adults with physical and/or mental disabilities. At the arrival she was warmly welcomed by mayor of Fredensborg Municipality Thomas Lykke Pedersen and leader of Granbohus Thor Simony. Such as all the young people and children who welcomed the Crown Princess. It was a wonderful and sincere sight. Music was played, speeches were held and everybody seemed to have a brilliant time.

Visiting Granbohus, Mary was wearing a brand new dress. Heaven managed to find it at Paul & Joe, which seems to be a new favourite of hers. The dress features sheer sleeves with floral applications matching the rest of the dress. She embraced the style by also wearing reused wedges from Tod's. We have already seen these shoes quite many times before, here, here, here. I really use to like them, but somehow they looks a bit odd with this dress. I would love to have seen a pair of colorful pumps or even ballet flats would do. Am I the only one with this thought? What I do like is the fact that she has chosen to wear light blue jewellery from Pomellato and a golden necklace from Orit Elhanati. Guess she could have been wearing her golden Cartier bracelet as well. What really made my day about this outfit is her spirit. Her sincere commitment and warmhearted behaviour is wonderful to see.

A UEFA donation

Thursday, March 22nd

Packed up in a warm jacket, the Crown Princess arrived to Brøndby Stadium in Copenhagen to received a very special donation -the UEFA Foundation for Children donation. The Crown Princess received the €50,000 donation as chairwoman of the Mary Foundation for future work to to ensure children's well-being and avoid bullying in football clubs in Denmark. The Mary Foundation and DBU have worked together on several other occasions to aiming a better environment for children in Danish football clubs. It was with a great smile and pride I think, the Crown Princess was handed over the donation. Congrats to the Crown Princess and her foundation with the very fine reward.

The donation was handed over during a game between Denmark and Panama, which the Crown Princess enjoyed along with the other over 10,000 people at Brøndby Stadium.

Truly it was a cold evening when Mary visited Brøndby to received the prestiges donation for her foundation. Guess that's why she had chosen to cover herself up in a cosy and warm outfit. She dazzled in a blueish turtleneck, which I am 99.9% sure was also worn during a trip to Greenland in 2014, here. It has never been identified. This cosy turtleneck was styled with slim jeans and her rather large grey jacket first worn at a football game in Parken in November last year, here. At this time it was identified as Moncler. It works as both a vest and jacket at the same time. A strange, but clever design. Mary seems to love it very much. On a few pictures it is clear that she wore brand new over-the-knee boots. I actually managed to found them at Gianvito Rossi. Do you like them? Because of the length I think they look pretty edgy. At the arrival to Brøndby Stadium I got a glimpse of her wearing diamond earrings, possibly from Hartmann's, and her Tod's bag. Once again I'm impressed by her hair -all voluminous and gorgeous!

Visiting Bangladesh

April, 5-6th

Crown Princess Mary is visiting Bangladesh along with Minister of Development Ulla Tørnæs from 5-6th of April. The visit focuses on strengthening women's economic opportunities as part of the UN world goal number five on equality.

Crown Princess Mary visiting Farmer Field School in Dhaka

I came as a total surprise to me when pictures of the Crown Princess in Bangladesh started showing up on my computer screen. Haven't heard a thing about this trip. Well, I wondered why she had no events coming up in April, but some months are quieter than others. What I have been able to find out, then Mary arrived to the capital Dhaka in Bangladesh on Wednesday April 5th left the country the following day. But I am not quite sure about the schedule. It is rather unusual that we don't hear about these official visits but it could be a matter of her safety. This is Mary's first visit to Bangladesh and she travelled along with Minister of Development Ulla Tørnæs and a Danish business delegation. The visit focuses on strengthening women's economic opportunities. As first thing in the morning she visited the project Farmer Field School in Moddhu Rakudia. The project aims to improve women's knowledge of the agricultural technician. The Crown Princess also visited the village Panbari which has been severely affected by floods, storms and high water levels due to climate changes. As both visits there were plenty of time for her to meet the locals which happily told Mary their stories.

During her first day in Moddhu Rakudia and Panbari she wore a comfortable outfit; a white button down shirt, beige trousers and matching slip-ons. Sunglasses protected her eyes while her hair were place on top of her head, keeping everything under control during the midday sun.

Crown Princess Mary meeting with Jaago Foundation and Auko-Tex Group in Dhaka

As part of the Crown Princess' first day in Bangladesh, she also met with a few schools supported by the Jaago Foundation. It has been a true pleasure to watch pictures and a video's from her visits. From the second she arrived every one of the children tried to get her attention -and they did. Every minute she spend along with the school's children. Earlier in the morning Mary also payed a visit to the capital slum. Everywhere she went, Mary was pleasantly greeted by the people met. Many of them were happily surprised to see a real princess for the first time in their life, although a little disappointed that she was not wearing a crown and a gown. In the afternoon the Crown Princess and Minister of Development Ulla Tørnæs visited a clothing factory Auko-Tex in Ghazipur. They were also accompanied by the Danish Ambassador in Bangladesh Mikael H. Winther.

Spending her last couple of hours in, among others, Ghazipur she had changed to a bit more colourful outfit. Mary paired a powder pink blouse with a pair of brown dress pants, accessorized with matching ballet flats.

Crown Princess Mary attending a reception

We haven't got that many pictures nor information's about her whereabouts during the stay in Bangladesh, nor do we from the Crown Princess' last reception before leaving Dhaka. At the evening reception on Thursday several locals, women, contractors etc. were specially invited to attend the reception. This gave Mary yet another opportunity to hear about challenges, projects, stories told by the locals and experience with what climate changes can cause of problems and maybe even how to turn it into something positive.

As many of the other attending women Mary were dressed in a colourful printed dress at the reception. She embraced the style with loose wavy hair and natural makeup.

Changing of the guard at Gråsten castle

Friday, July 24th
Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary are on vacation with their four children at Gråsten castle and today the royals watched changing of the guard.

As you know I have a special love for this vacation. It has become kind of a tradition for the royal family members to watch the changing of the guard at Gråsten. I remember when Princess Isabella was only a few years old, she was wearing a red dress and played with a red ballon. It ran off and a guard caught it and handed it over to her, here. A moment I haven't forgot all these years. The Crown Prince family are now joined by the Queen and Prince Henrik who arrived from a visit to Greenland. I have seen some pictures from the visit and I really think the couple had a good time visiting Greenland. The Crown Prince couple also seems to enjoy their vacation in Denmark along with all four children. I like the fact that they are protecting the kids from the photographers and journalists. Now I might sound old, but to see the kids grow up is fantastic. Prince Christian is now a young man similar to his dad, just like his brother Prince Vincent though he is a bit more shy. I really enjoy the pictures from today when the family watched changing of the guard. Everyone of them seems to be in a really good mood. Another thing I look forward is to see the family once again tomorrow at the annual summer photocall. Maybe we also get the change to see Prince Joachim and Princess Marie with their children. I hope so.

Both Prince Christian and Prince Vincent were dressed in similar clothes as their father. Prince Vincent probably wore a shirt from Poppy Rose, here. While their sister Princess Isabella wore a Poppy Rose blouse and a Norlie, here, skirt similar to Mary. Princess Josephine even wore the same sandals as her sister thought she was wearing shorts and a white lace blouse like her brothers. One thing I noticed is how well-dressed they all are -also Mary. She kinda surprised me with what she wore during her day at Gråsten. A really lovely outfit. A new A-line skirt and a matching blouse featuring the same beautiful print. With help from Ida, I learned that Mary's popular set is from the Danish designer SAND Copenhagen. Thank you so much Ida for your help, it's very much appreciated. I would love to add the set to my personal wardrobe. Burgundy is one of my favourite colours. I think it could be a set you either really like or hate. What's your opinion? She matched the new floral set with her beige suede wedges from Tod's. She embrace the style by wearing a necklace from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen, two bracelets from Anni Lu and a new one from jewellery designer Charlotte Wæhrens. Thanks to Pernille and Kate for sharing your findings with me. Another thing I would like to learn, is how to get my hair as Mary's. I love this casual hairstyle, but I haven't learned the trick yet. Some day I will. A wonderful example of how to look fabulous in your spare time.

The Gråsten Ring Riding Association parade in Gråsten

Most Danes are on vacation right now and I really also look forward that is soon is my turn to pack a suitcase and travel to another country to experience something new and exciting. This year I'm going to Belgium with my family. The holiday-time is such a great time a year because you get to spend time with your family and often see a new country where you are about the experience a new culture. When I'm on holiday, me and my family loves to see some historical things, to experience the soul of the country we are in.

The royal family are also on vacation. This year they moved into Gråsten castle which is a bit unusual. Most year they are at the wine castle Cayx in France, owned by the family of Prince Henrik. I love that the Crown Prince couple show their children that a vacation in Denmark is just as good as anywhere else. I'm sure Frederik and Mary enjoying some time with their children and the other way around. For the family to break their vacation and attend a event like the Gråsten parade today is great. They take the time to meet the participants and those Danes who attend the parade. It is also a bit special that all four children are there, they have all there childhood been protected from the public and press. All four children seemed to really enjoy the day. Princess Isabella and her two younger siblings, Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine with her broken arm, greeted many of the participants of the parade, while Prince Christian enjoyed the day close to his father. Actually I do not live that far from Gråsten castle, unfortunately I did not have the time to see them. Maybe I will get the chance again.

One thing I noticed was both Mary, Christian, Josephine and Isabella were wearing green turquoise colour. The remarkable colour was worn by the two princesses with each their dress from Poppy Rose, here. Honestly, there is something really cute about the two princesses wearing the same dress. I just hope it is their own decision. The dresses were identified by Kate. Princess Isabella topped her look off with a hairdo and golden sandals and Princess Josephine in her sweet dress wore silver metallic sandals and loose hair. In the same colour as his sisters dresses Prince Christian was in green turquoise shorts and a shirt like this dad. Frederik wore long trousers in blue as his son Prince Vincent.
Then we have Mary. In her new creamy shirtdress featuring a significant and stunning pattern she totally won my heart. Heaven found her dress at Julie Fagerholt Heartmde (Spring/Summer 2015). Looks all comfortable and nice to wear. Though it is rather casual, it looks crazy beautiful on her. With a pair of beige suede wedges from Tod's she embrace the style of the perfect outfit. As other accessorizes Mary had chosen to wear a couple of necklaces from Marianne DulongMD & Daughters and Orit Elhanati. Love how she mixed all three necklaces; makes a great statement. As the turquoise pendant, she wore a ring i the same shade. This we first saw about a year earlier at the annual photo session at Gråsten castle along with the rest of the family, here. I could not be more happy about this look than I am right now. I wouldn't mind wearing this any time during summer.
