Meeting with WWF Wild Fund for Nature

22nd October

Much is different at the moment because we still try to fight the world spread pandemic. This means that virtual meeting's have become more and more common. Especially for our hardworking Crown Princess. Today, she joined a virtual meeting with WWF World Wild Fund for Nature's presidum.

Crown Princess Mary is newly president for organisation. During the meeting she was informed about the current work and given the latest knowledge about nature, animal life and biodiversity. It is important that we change or way of living. We cannot kill our natural ressources. We need to find the right balance - in her own words. Lately, the Crown Princess has shared much or her work with us personally on social media. It was also the case this time.

At her virtual meeting this morning, Mary wore one of her lovely printed blouses from Lavin. She matched the blouse with a pair of fitted black trousers and what looks like light brown loafers. I could be wrong. The blouse is a reuse and has been worn on quite a few occasions by now. Mainly with trousers and a belt. I especially loved the blouse, when she dazzled in an interview in Berlignske Tidende in 2016, here.

Once again, she embraced her outfit with several golden bracelets. I see at least three from Dulong Fine Jewelry. Seems like they are her favorites at the moment. She added her Cartier bangle and a fourth one I think could be her new one also worn the previous day. The beaded bracelet in pink. Mary topped of her business look with a simple ponytail and diamond studs, such as her beloved Tapet Café clutch. It always follows her on these more private meetings.

'Partnerships for Sustainable Financing of Noncommunicable Disease (NCD) Prevention and Control'

Monday, April 9th

As guest of honor the Crown Princess attended the opening of WHO Global Dialogue on Partnerships for Sustainable Financing of (NCD) Prevention and Control taking place in Tivoli Congress Center in Copenhagen. She was in a great mood when arriving to the congress center where she was warmly welcomed. The Crown Princess attended to give the opening speech as key note speaker at the international WHO conference. The conference is organized in collaboration with the  Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and last from April 9-11th. Members from WHO member states, Development Agencies, UN agencies, NGOs, academies, philanthropists and business organizations are just some of those who were invited to participate along with the Crown Princess. Imagine all these people gathered at one place having a dialogue? I guess it takes much time and effort to plan such a conference. But the topic is very relevant and ideal to take up for discussion.

After the grand opening the conference at Tivoli Congress Center, the Crown Princess participated a meeting with eight young people who are part of Youth Lab Meeting.

I am so please that we get to see Mary a little more these days. I kinda missed her and the rest of the family since the funeral of her father-in-law -may he rest in peace. It is simply wonderful to see her smily face and sophisticated style again. At the conference in Copenhagen and meeting with Youth Lab Meeting participant, she was dressed in old goodies. She matched a checkered Lanvin satin blouse with black trousers and her cashmere coat from JOSEPH. For a couple of years it has been up for debate where her blouse is from. Heaven finally confirmed that Lavin is in fact the designer. Mary accessorized the blouse with an old belt from Céline, black suede Gianvito Rossi pumps and that incredible leather bag from Prada. The exact same bag from when she attended the OECD Global Forum on Development in Paris just a couple of days ago, here. Would you add anything like this bag to your wardrobe? Not to forget, Mary dazzled wearing golden earrings featuring diamonds from Dulong Fine Jewelry, a bracelet from same designer, diamond rings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen and that incredible Orit Elhanati necklace. All masterpieces created by Danish designers. Do you have favourite jewellery designers I should know of?

About four hours after the Crown Prince and she unofficially payed a visit to the House of Industry and Danish Industry, here, in Copenhagen Mary was on duty again to attend the Psychiatry Foundation's 20th anniversary as patron of the foundation and guest of honor. October 10th is also the day where the WHO's World Mental Health Day is taking place to increase awareness of, among others, mental illnesses. As earlier in the morning, she was in a brilliant mood and seemed to had been looking forward to participate in the celebration of the 20th anniversary. During the visit, several speeches were given and various presentations of the foundation's work. It was with great interest Mary listened. Afterwards she got the opportunity to meet some of the participants at the anniversary. I wish the Psychiatry Foundation congratulations on behalf of the anniversary!

With relatively few hours in between the two events, the Crown Princess has chosen not to change clothes and why should she when this outfit is so damn perfect? The best pictures were taken on arrival where she has her Massimo Dutti coat on which you know is reversible. I would very much well like to see a picture of her without her coat, but I could not find one. The reason is that I want to see how it looks with the Prada blouse and Chloé skirt as an outfit. Like earlier in the day, she had shoes on from Lanvin and tights in the same dark blue colour. What wasn't clear to me earlier is that Mary also wore two diamond rings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen and a rather large Dulong Fine Jewelry black pearl bracelet worn a countless occasions before this one. As her outfit; I believe it was a tremendous day with plenty of time to celebrate the Psychiatry Foundation and their incredible work.

Visiting Danish Industry

Monday, October 10th

Unofficially Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary visited Danish Industry in Copenhagen.

Kongehuset.dk
Princessesblog76.blogspot.com

I haven't been as active here on the blog lately as the Crown Princess has. She has been working so much the last couple of weeks. What I now try to catch up. But you should know that I miss, terribly much, writing on a daily basis. Usually both Frederik and Mary's calendar are packed with official visited, but on Monday October 10th the Crown Prince Couple unofficially visited Danish Industry and the House of Industry where they were given a guided tour to see their facilities in their workspace near Rådhuspladsen in Copenhagen. The couple were warmly welcomed by CEO Karsten Dybvad, here. To me it seemed like their were both in a splendid mood! During their visit they also got the chance meeting some of the employees and gained an insight in the everyday work. Unfortunately, very little is written about this unofficial visit which makes it hard for me to tell you more than I've already done. Maybe I should mention that this visit came prior to the 20th anniversary celebration of the Psychiatry Foundation in witch Mary attended late the same day.

Don't want to talk about the weather because not much fancy to tell, although I am pretty sure the weather is the main reason why Mary had chosen darker colours and a cosy warm Massimo Dutti coat. I was absolutely stunned to see that Chloé (pre-AW14) skirt again! From the first time she wore it I've been in love with it. Clearly remember the first time; her curly hair and navy blue wool cape. Here we have it again, finally. Can't tell if we have seen that blouse before, nor if it's black or blue -think it's navy blue to match both skirt, coat, shoes and handbag. Royals & Fashion mention Prada as designer of this blouse. Talking about all these incredible accessories makes me wanna talk even more about them. Immediately I noticed her handbag; if I'm right it's a brand new navy blue leather bag from Prada. Perfectly matching the rest of her outfit we have her Lanvin pumps. A really stylish fall outfit I would love to try out myself. Something you'd try?

Crown Princess Mary attending the Women Deliver Conference 2016

Despite time a day the Crown Princess was ready to attend another more day with the Women Deliver Conference 2016 hosted by Denmark this year. It is something we have waited for the last year or so, and now the conference is soon over, but not quite yet. We still have one days left before it all ends.

The first two days have been great and maybe a little overwhelming to the Crown Princess, who is patron of the conference. It has been three busy days for her. She has attended numerous sessions, participated in workshops, spoken at all kinds of events and met a lot of people all representing each and their area. Along with the 5,500 participants, I think she has had some quite interesting days with lots of inspiration and new networks for future collaboration. It is a subject with so many different aspects, which requires both time and commitment to work with - something she certainly has done over the last 7 years in Denmark and abroad. She was, among others, recently in Burkina Faso, where she saw with her own eyes what she is fighting for: a world with more equality for girls and women. On this third day, she began her day already at 6:50 am. local time meeting with Amplify Change. From the moment she arrived, her day was packed with places to be and people to speak with. She also accompanied her husband when he, as IOC member, spoke at DIF/IOC side event such as they wrote a statement on 'Women Deliver for Good Signing Wall' together.

With yesterday's outfit I expected way more than what we got today. Not that I do not like her outfit because I really do, but yesterday's look was to me more than splendid. On the third day she was classy dressed in a combo we have seen a few times before, but it works really well with that white pleated blouse from Prada (found by Heaven) and paisley printed JOSEPH skirt. Gives me a happy feeling of summer, when she is wearing that skirt. She matched it with her beloved grey python pumps from Gianvito Rossi. Think it was one of her first pair of Gianvito Rossi shoes. I clearly remember, when I confused tried to identify them, which I actually did and from then we have seen her multiple times in these lovely pumps. Embracing a modern and polished style she had chosen some incredible pieces of jewellery; golden earrings from Dulong Fine Jewellery featuring a large white pearl, one of her diamond bracelets matching the rings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen and of course a bracelet from the same designer as the earrings. To keep track on time, Mary wore her expensive golden Cartier watch. What we now have left is the dazzling beige leather bag, which of course is one of her Prada bags. An energetic and polished look that works every single time.

Crown Princess Mary attending a culture evening in Tivoli
Embed from Getty Images

Around 7:00 o'clock, it was finally time for the Crown Princess to attend the days last event: a culture evening in Tivoli, Copenhagen. An event all 5,500 participants of the Women Deliver Conference 2016, were invited to attend. Despite she had been on the run all day long, she was in a brilliant mood.

The participants from 169 different countries all over the world, got the chance to see for themselves what a country Denmark is and meet some of the Danish organizations working to makes life better for girls and women. Among other, were KVINFO and the Mothers Help represented ready to tell all about their work. Along with Foreign Minister Kristian Jensen, the Crown Princess enjoyed one more evening meeting a lot of new people, even some she has met at a previous occasion in her everyday work. With this major event in Tivoli, ended a successful day for the Crown Princess. Only one more day left and everything she helped planning is (finally) over.

Unfortunately, we only have very few pictures from her last attendance in Tivoli, where she was present at the culture evening along with the 5,500 special invited participants of the conference. Luckily, I was able to find enough to get a glimpse of her outfit that I already have come to love. The reason is simple: because that checkered kimono is one amazing piece. She wore it for the first time, when she was interviewed in Berlingske, here, on violence against women. For a very long time I have had no clue where to find her blouse. Heaven then shared a model from Lanvin with me and I think she is on to something. The two models look more than similar. I am in no doubt sure that she's wearing a Lanvin blouse at the evening event in Tivoli.

She embraced the style  with a thin snakeskin belt from Balenciaga. The mix of two different patterns is a great idea. The way she belted the blouse is also very clever. Maybe it's worth a try? With loose hair and natural makeup she adore me with a pair of Jewlscph earrings and other jewellery from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen and Dulong Fine Jewelry. I believe the pumps are from SAND Copenhagen, but really it's juts a guess. After all, she has many pairs of black pumps very similar to these. Do you see something I have forgotten?

Inauguration of a new soldiers home's in Birkerød

Friday, October 23rd

Crown Princess Mary attended the inauguration of KFUMs new soldiers home's transition housing for veteran families in Høvelte, Birkerød.

Well, I know I'm a few days behind with this post from when the Crown Princess attended the inauguration in Birkerød couple of days ago. But I have been so busy with everything else and yesterday I attended my aunts 40th birthday which began at noon and lasted all day, so... better late than never, right? It is the third time the Crown Princess attend the inauguration of a new soldiers homes as transition housing for veteran families. These new homes are build in Høvelte in Birkerød by KFUM. The Crown Princess arrived to Birkerød in Crown 8 on a very windy and cold October day. Still, she was met by friendly and smily faces as well as music played by the Royal Life Guards band, which immediately gave a warm atmosphere among the participants. One reason for the Crown Princess to attend this very special day is, among others, because she is patron of KFUM Soldiers Mission. She has had the title since 2012 and has also been in Afghanistan back in 2009 to visit Danish soldiers deployed in Camp Bastion, all as patron of KFUM. As part of the inauguration she cut a red ribbon with a golden scissors to officially mark the opening of these new soldiers homes in Hølvelte. The Crown Princess was given a guided tour around the new facilities after the traditional royal opening ceremony. She also got the change to talk with some of the veterans, who told her how a typical day is.

The day before Mary attended the opening of the new soldiers home in Birkerød, she attended the DANISH Design Talent - Magasin Prize 2015, here, at the National Gallery of Denmark in Copenhagen to present this years winner. She was dressed in the most magnificent white creation by YDE Copenhagen. The floor length evening gown has been topic of many discussions right since. I can't stop loving it. With feathers and all. It was a little more of an everyday outfit we saw at the inauguration in Birkerød. She chad chosen to wear a navy blue double breasted coat seen at a couple of times before. I had a hard time trying to identify where this coat comes from, but Kate managed to find it at Prada. Unfortunately, it is no longer available anymore so I can't really share any link with you. I have the pictures stored on my computer to those of you who would like to see them. Mary embrace the chic autumn style by wearing matching blue leather gloves and her Lanvin pumps featuring a bow. A true royal outfit. As goes with the coat, I have so much trouble figuring out where that checkered clutch is from. I strongly believe it is from Prada because I have found another featuring same technique. Take a look at the link below and tell me what you think. Do you have any other designers in mind, then let me know. Many of you also pointed out that she was wearing some kind of new brooch and indeed she was. When you buy such a floral brooch, you donate money to Kræftens Bekæmpelse who work to give people with cancer at better life. Very thoughtful of her. And of course we have her diamond earrings from Hartmann's. A lovely outfit worn by a lovely woman.

Attending the opening of KFUM's Soldiers Recreation

April, 4th

Crown Princess Mary attended the opening of KFUM's SoldiersRecreation (KFUMs SoldaterRekreation) in Høvelte as patron of KFUM's Soldiers Mission (KFUMs Soldatermission)

KFUM's Soldiers Mission & KFUM's SoldiersRecreation
KFUM soldiers mission began all the way back in 1889 in Copenhagen where the first solders home were established. Because of the effect from world war I and world war II, like the cold war in the period after 1943, the means to help soldiers are needed more than every before. The KFUM soldiers home's are where they are needed, when they are needed. Crown Princess Mary has been patron of KFUM's Soldiers Mission since 2012. If you are interested in reading more about their story, you find it here

Sn.dk

Mary has chosen her patronages carefully. Most of them, is about making a difference for people. Help them whether it's with a mental illness or to recover from a life after having been stationed abroad as soldier. And that is exactly what she was doing yesterday because Mary is patron of KFUM's Soldiers Mission which has a quite long history that goes back to 1889. Right since the Soldiers Mission has helped Danish soldiers both before and after a mission. We all know that such missions, may cause permanent damage, physically and/or mentally, which is also going to affect the relatives. Mary attended to officially open 9 new KFUM SoldiersRecreation homes in Høvelte. In a great mood she arrived, at 4:00 pm. local time, to Høvelte and was warmly welcomed by among others the sweetest flower boy who handed over a bouquet. I'm sure both Frederik and Mary have closely followed the process of these nine new recreation home because with their fund, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary's fund, they have economically supported the project. Along with the city's mayor and Danish Defense Minister Nicolai Wammen, Mary was given a guided tour around the premises to see for herself what her and her husband have been supporting. She seemed very impressed of what she saw. During the opening of the new recreation homes, a new artwork created by Lina Mural Jardorf was revealed of course by Mary as the guest of honor.

Despite the calendar says April, it is still quite windy and cold in Denmark. This time a year we usually see her in bare legs but because of the weather she chose to wear black tights. Very understandable. To keep warm she was dressed in a matching dress and coat from Prada, in the same wonderful fabric featuring some lovely details. Even though we have seen both dress and coat several times before, I love to get to see her wear it again. Matching suits gets my heart beating. The shape is pretty classic and the fabric 60s like. She wore it the first time at the opening of the parliament in 2010 when she was expecting the twins, a year later at a Egnum conference in 2011 and then in 2012 when she attended the opening of the project Verdens Flygtninge. Differently something I hope to see again one day. Beautifully she wore a pair of new, stunning, pointed pumps found at Lanvin. They feature a bow at each shoe which is really lovely. In the same navy blue colour she accessorized her look with a Quidam clutch. Besides that, we only saw a few jewelleries -earrings from Hartmann's and a Shamballa Jewels bracelet with the pink diamond ball as pendant. As the queen of classy outfits, I think this is one of the most stylish outfits we have seen for quite a while.

Opening of Hospital+Innovation Congress

September, 30

As patron of Healthcare DENMARK, Crown Princess Mary attended the opening of Hospital+Innovation Congress in Odense.

What is Hospital+Innovation Congress all about?
Well over the next ten year Denmark are about to invest in 16 new hospital projects which included greenfield projects and expansion of the already existing capacity. The congress invites international healthcare communities to join the discussion on innovative solutions. This year more than 350 participants attended from all over the world. Read much more about it here.

In the shiny black car Mary arrived to Odense on Funen to attend the opening of Hospital+Innovation Congress. Mary is the patron of Healthcare DENMARK who organized the opening. To officially open the congress she gave a wide smile and cut the traditional red ribbon with a large golden scissors standing next to regional council chairman at South Denmark (Region Syd Danmark) Carl Holst and President of Healthcare DENMARK Mariann Fischer Boel. At the opening she also held a speech which aims was to allow cooperation between stakeholders from the public and private sectors in order to create innovative and sustainable health solutions. She also had the chance to talk to some of the 350 participants at the congress which also had a chance to talk to the other participants, to share solutions and knowledge in the area they work. I really think this is a great way to share knowledge we have on certain subjects. We get smarter when we work together. Denmark is a country that uses a lot of time and efforts to develop and improve our hospital system, but we still have much to learn. With the congress that is possible. It is important we keep developing and find the best solutions because it's all about saving lives.

In a really great mood Mary attended the opening wearing a plain navy blue suit. Paying attention to all she was shown, Mary was guided on a little tour to see some of the possible future solutions to improve the healthcare system in among others Denmark. We have at a few occasions seen her wear actually both the short jacket and dress at the same time. They do a great outfit! You might remember the designer Danish SAND Copenhagen. On the left side of her chest she placed a little floral diamond brooch. Well I can't prove a thing to you but once, and only once, I read it was a gift given to her by her father-in-law Prince Henrik which apparently belonged to his mother. I haven't been able to confirm this information any where. So maybe the brooch is inherited or maybe it's not. I kinda like the story and I do not understand why no one can tell me but that's the fact. Sorry. A thing I can identify is her pointed shoes. They are from Lanvin. A lovely pair of shoes! She topped of the look with a Ivory Bogota and Shamballa Jewels bracelets. And of course the magnificent Rika clutch in the most wonderful bordeaux colours!

Ballet at Gavnø

July, 19

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary attended a ballet at Gavnø Castle hosted by Baron Otto Reedtz-Thott and his wife Helle.

To me this is more a unofficial event, a evening with family and friends. It was a wonderful night last night when they attended the ballet at Gavnø Castle. The sun was still there and it was a lovely warm evening. This wonderful evening gave Mary the opportunity to wear a sleeveless dress and bare legs and she did also wear several new things! That's something we like.

Shortly after I posted this I had so many requests from all you guys, mainly about the new blue dress and her new heeled sandals. I really like this evening outfit - casual and beautiful - but I hadn't seen it come that so many of you would be interested. I had to disappoint you because these two things were no where to find; at least not for me. That makes me happy is when readers help readers! Pernille that amazing woman found it from Lanvin! We are very grateful. The design reminded me of By Malene Birger or Signe Bøgelund-Jensen, but none of them were right. Now you know. The brown heeled sandals I finally identified as Hugo Boss (collection: BOSS).

Then we have the huge golden earrings! Glittering in the late evening sun. She wore brand new Queen Jewlscph earrings. They are available in golden, silver and pink. It was obvious to me that these new earrings had to be from Jewslcph, so much their style am I right? Still it took me and a good friend a while actually to find them but everything for you and we found them! The clutch is from Carlend Copenhagen and is made of crocodile. A model I really find great and it's available in several different colours. A great night to be a Mary fan!

Update: You might already know this but Crown Prince Haakon is celebrating his 40 years birthday this weekend and the birthday have a theme - it is a very untraditional birthday for royal's to make - the theme is hippie. Frederik and Mary are participating and arrives to Norway today, Saturday. I hope so much we'll get a few pictures to fell the atmosphere when a Royal are being celebrated by... other royals. It all starts at 3:30 pm. local time. Ready for a birthday?

Welcome at the airport of Copenhagen

Believe it or not, another state visit is here! A few weeks ago Frederik and Mary were on a great last-minute-trip to Chile because the Queen and Prince Henrik had to stay home because of the Queen's bad health. That only made me happy that Frederik and Mary went to Chile then. Now the important people are coming to Denmark on an state visit. Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik are the hosts of a fine visit from Finland - the President and his wife.

Dazzling wearing a navy blue coat, Mary was ready to welcome the President and wife from Finland at the airport in Copenhagen when they arrived by plain. Unfortunately I haven't been able to identify the wonderful new coat, any ideas? My guess would probably be Prada but it's only a guess. It features some beautiful details. The asymmetric bordeaux hat on her head has been seen multiple times worn since she married Frederik in 2004, with both dresses, suits and now with the navy blue coat and matching Lanvin pumps! The perfect shoes to the perfect outfit. Beautifully done featuring a bow and the nice colour-name midnight-blue grosgrain. The eternity gold earrings with 6 diamonds each comes from jewellery designer Marianne Dulong. Left we have the checkered black and white clutch which clearly made the different! There's no visible logo to see but I found a larger model from Prada featuring the exact same size and colour cubes.

Shoes: Lanvin Grosgrain-Trimmed
Clutch: Prada Black & White Checkered?

Visit at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts Schools

I was overwhelmed who kind and sweet the Presidents wife, Mrs. Jenni Elina Haukio, seems I really think Mary and her had  a great day visiting the Danish Royal Academy of Fine Art Schools of Architecture, Design and Conservation. They were both very attentive and talked to everybody. In addition to the two women exudes a wonderful personality, they also share the same good taste in clothes. Mrs. Jenni Haukio was in a bright pink colour, really nice to her dark brown hair. Over she wore a sophisticated light brown coat. Mary, on the other hand was dressed in a black an white outfit with a pretty eye-catching new Hugo Boss pencil skirt featuring a significant print. In the match with a white peplum from BOSS by Hugo Boss worn the second day in Chile. In black she added new patent pumps from Danish SAND and a leather clutch from Carlend Copenhagen. The earrings I haven't been able to identified yet. As Mrs. Jenni, Mary wore a wonderful snow white Prada coat.

Coat: Prada
Blouse: Hugo Boss Ipeplana Peplum Top
Skirt: Hugo Boss Vilinia Blended Viscose Pencil Skirt £270
Clutch: Carlend Copenhagen Vanessa DKK 8,500

Gala dinner at Fredensborg Castle
No state visit without a large gala dinner with important people dressed in gala uniforms and floor-length gowns. Of course they have a dress-code but that doesn't mean that you manage dress beautifully. I have been following the arrival in the TV and even though I know Frederik and Mary will arrival as the penultimate - they are the second to the throne, I like to see all the guest. It has almost become a tradition to me, when a gala or birthday is broadcasted I'm ready to follow all the events. This was not any different last night. And finally my favourite couple arrived to the gala dinner, my heart almost stopped when I saw Mary in her embroidered baby blue gown featuring so many wonderful details. What a handwork. The dress has been seen on her before, some years ago on a visit to Vietnam and even longer ago where it has changed a bit since. Love that she does not throw her dresses out but get them redesigned and uses them again. Her hair was in a half updo so the aquamarine blue earrings were visible, wearing the wedding tiara on her head and dusty pink Prada pumps on her feet.

You might wonder why she's not wearing the blue Order of the Elephant, well the thing is first of all Finland is visiting Denmark and second when a royal have been on a state visit in the country in question they wear their Order, at this gala dinner it's the Order of the White Rose from Finland. This Order is worn from right to left as many other orders, the Order of the Elephant is worn opposite. Read more about the Order here.
