The ANZAC Day 2018

Thursday, April 26th

Early Thursday morning, the Crown Princess attended the ANZAC Day 2018 -all unofficially. The ceremony took place at Kastellet in Copenhagen. ANZAC Day is a memorial day for lost soldiers from the Australian- and New Zealand Army Corps ANZAC, who fought during world war one at the Battle of Gallipoli in Turkey back in 1915. Lives were honored and reminded at the ceremony at Kastellet. In 2015 she attended the same ceremony, just as an official event, here. On this cloudy and rainy morning, the Crown Princess showed her support and respect once more in a moment of silence.

The Danish Rainbow Awards -AXGIL

Wednesday, April 25th

Wednesday evening the Crown Princess arrived to Cirkusbygningen in Copenhagen to attend the presentation of the Danish Rainbow Awards -AXGIL. The royal guest of honor was warmly welcomed with handshakes, flowers and lots of smiles by the board of directors of Rainbow Business Denmark. The Crown Princess was in a brilliant mood, when she later in the evening, entered the stage and handed over the honorary award. Each year, Rainbow Business Denmark hand over awards to organisations, companies and people, who helps to create better living conditions for LGBT people or helps improving the environment for LGBT people in Denmark. This year the Crown Princess handed over the honorary award to LGBT Denmark -The National Association for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender, here.

A colourful event takes a colourful outfit, right? Like a pro, Mary managed to dress up a simple black dress just beautifully with a new printed coat. This has been identified by Heaven as an Etro design. What I really like about this new coat, has to be the length of it and the colours. Really nice. As mentioned, she matched it with a black dress. Somehow I remembered that she had worn the dress before. Do you know when? The event was pretty significant for Denmark as nation -it was Eurovision Song Contest 2014 held in Denmark that year, here. Unfortunately, I was never really able to identify. Still, I am convinced it is the same dress. Mary embraced the stunning new coat and reused dress with new earrings as well. These were found by Sarah at Etro. She also accessorized her beautiful evening look with other jewellery from Dulong Fine Jewelry and Orit Elhanati such as a little black clutch from Sergio Rossi. The black glitter pumps are the only thing left to talk about, when it comes to her outfit. I am so sure the designer of these new pumps is Pura Lopez. Tell me if you see the same or something completely different.

Opening of 'Danish Women's Shelters'

Friday, April 20th

As guest of honor and founder of the Mary Foundation, the Crown Princess attended the opening of Danish Women's Shelters in Copenhagen. The shelter acts both as residence and counseling center for battered women with special focus on newly born mothers and pregnant women. The Crown Princess was kindly welcomed with flowers and lots of smiles when she arrival to the new shelter in the middle of Copenhagen. As part of the official opening she gave a warm and sincere speech. She visited the shelter along the Mary Foundation and brought with er a present -backpacks. These backpacks are a tool made by initiative from the Mary Foundation in collaboration with Ole Kirk's Fund and LOKK. They work as a way to get children to talk about their experiences. What these children have in common is that they come from families where violence is involved. Each year a couple of thousand backpacks are given to children at shelters across the country. The Crown Princess included the backpacks in her speech. Later, she was given a tour around the new facilities accompanies by Minister of Children and Social Affairs Mai Mercado and leader of the shelter Susanne Larsen.

The same say the Crown Princess also met with Dr Zsuzsanna Jakab, who is WHO Regional Director for Europe. The Crown Princess is patron of the WHO Regional Office for Europe. She was informed about the work of WHO and how the organisation try to improve healthcare- and livingstandards. Future activities were also discussed. She also payed a visit to a photo exhibition made by WHO and UNICEF about vaccines for vulnerable populations. This takes place as part of the European Immunization Week.

The temperature is rising and days are getting a bit warmer, which means times for spring outfits. During her day in Copenhagen both opening a new shelter and visiting a photo exhibition, Mary was beautifully dressed. She embraced a feminine set of colours and smashing silhouettes. Even the fabrics are worth mentioning. Mary had chosen to paired a brand new Stella McCartney blouse with a multicoloured pleated skirt from Diane Von Furstenberg. Both new pieces have been identified by Heaven. I first thought she was wearing trousers. Then that striped "thing" showed up and I knew it was no longer trousers. What do you think about her new skirt? I kinda like it. Looks really nice with the powder pink silk blouse. I also like the way she accessories the outfit with golden jewellery. Mary dazzled wearing earrings and a ring from Dulong Fine Jewelry and a Orit Elhanati necklace. A very beautiful match.  I also see another necklace as well. To me it looks like this one worn back in 2010 and 2015, here. Both the Gianvito Rossi pumps and Quidam clutch are featuring the most incredible blue colour. The skirt is still a surprise to me, but I think is makes a great spring piece. Especially the way she matched it with jewellery and all.

Day of Research 2018 & Miniverset

Thursday, April 17th

It was about to become a wonderful day for the Crown Princess. Around noon she arrived to the IT-University in Copenhagen to attend the official opening of Day of Research 2018. Here the Crown Princess was warmly welcomed by, among others, Minister of Education and Research Søren Pind. It was a patron of the event she attended the opening as guest of honor. Day of Research is a science festival that takes place each year in April. The festival last for a week and gives to opportunity to explore more than seven hundred different activities about science. After the official opening ceremony the Crown Princess was given a tour around the festival, where she paired a visit to the "hacker zone". Here scientist and students gave her a demonstration on activities related to hacking -including something with a fully packed suitcase.

A couple of hours later she was visiting Hellerup near Copenhagen to attend the opening of Miniverset at the Experimentarium, here. As earlier during her other visit, she was in a splendid mood. Also at the arrival, where she was welcomed by Managing Director Kim Gladstone Herlev. About Miniverset -it is a universe created for children aged 1-5 years focusing on natural science. The universe is divided into seven areas with different activities combining play and learning. Soon, the press found the Crown Princess on the floor playing with the children and having lots of fun. She even dressed up as a mole as part of the game. To me it seems like everyone were having a great time.

During her day in Copenhagen Mary was dressed both chic and practical. She paired a brand new jacket with white trousers. Heaven managed to identify the jacket as Emporio Armani. It features some interesting details - the collar, print, fabric and hemline. About the trousers then I think they could be old. But I could be wrong. Nevertheless, it is truly difficult to identify her trousers. At the opening of Day of Research 2018 she carried a clutch in the same wonderful blue colour as the jacket. It is from Quidam. She then embraced the style of a chic modern woman, wearing grey suede pumps from Gianvito Rossi. Some claim they are white. I strongly disagree with that. Mary had chosen to wear several white pearl jewellery all from Dulong Fine Jewelry. This include both earrings, bracelets (Mary's comes with bigger white pearls as the link shows) and ring. One of the bracelets is her golden Cartier bangle. I kinda missed that piece. As usually, her hair looked completely stunning as goes with her makeup. Imagine her wearing red nail polish with this look. That would have been a great match to the blue jacket and white pearls.

Inauguration of Slagelse Hospital

Tuesday, April 17th

On a sunny Tuesday the Crown Princess arrived to Slagelse, where she was warmly welcomed with smiles, flags, greetings and flowers. The reason for her visit was to inaugurate the newly build emergency hospital in Slagelse. A new extension to the hospital was also inaugurated during her visit. The Crown Princess was in a splendid mood when she was met by the public and welcomed by Regional Council Chairman Heino Knudsen and Hospital Director Vagn Bach. As part of the official inauguration ceremony she cut a red ribbon. Afterwards, the Crown Princess was given a guided tour around the new facilities to see for herself, what she had just inaugurated. I can't help myself from getting in a great mood just looking at her smile and how happy she made everyone with her presence.

A inauguration is always a big thing, which takes a perfect outfit to complete. I don't know about you, but I have completely fallen in love with this outfit. From head to toe. What is not to love? She embraced a feminine style by wearing a reused Elise Gug (collection: 2013) blouse. The blouse has been worn at countless other occasions, here, here & here. Mary then matched the blouse with a brand new powder pink skirt. I have not been able to identify the skirt yet. Do you have any ideas? I tried everything, but nothing seems to get my closer to find the one. As accessories Mary had chosen to reuse one of her beautiful Susanne Juul hats. Maybe you recall her wearing it when visiting Poland in 2015, here. Such a magnificent design. Wish we wore hats mor often today. Then I would wear something like this every day. She also wore stunning jewellery from both Hartmann's, Orit Elhanati, Dulong Fine Jewelry (collection: SS18 limited edition) and Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. I am sure you can identify all of them without my help. Last but not least, Mary paired the outfit with python pumps from Gianvito Rossi. Simply a wonderful mix of colours, textures and silhouettes. I tend to say this is a dreamy outfit, which makes me desire spring even more.

Congratulations to Queen Margrethe

Monday, April 16th

Is there a better way to celebrate ones birthday than with your family and a couple of hundred Danes? I really don't think so. This was how the Queen celebrated her birthday on Monday, when she turned 78 years old. On occasion of her birthday, she and the rest of the family (expect from Crown Princess Frederik who visited Greenland at the time) showed off on the balcony at Amalienborg. Several hundred Danes had showed up at the square in front of the palace to congratulate the Queen on her birthday. Close by, people wrote greetings to her as well as done every other year. A lovely tradition. Unfortunately, I have never been in Copenhagen during her birthday and therefor never had the chance myself to congratulate her with a greeting. Hopeful, one day I will. The whole royal family including the Queen seemed to be in a wonderful and great mood during the balcony scene.

Mary showed up along with her four children on the balcony in front of Amalienborg on her mother-in-laws birthday, dressed in a smashing reused red Dolce & Gabbana dress. It features a small detail around neckline, waist and hemline. A really beautiful dress worn at a few other occasions. We first saw it when Mary and the rest of her family inaugurated LEGO House in September 2017, here. Later that year, she wore it once again at the annual Christmas reception for partners and collaborators with the Mary Foundation, here. Looks just a stunning as the first time. Personally, I'm thrilled to see it again. What about you? This time she embraced the style by wearing a golden Orit Elhanati necklace, that white pearl ring from Dulong Fine Jewelry and bracelet from same designer. I am pretty sure you noticed the earrings as well. Right? I managed to get a pretty good close-up and from what I see they differently look new. It's a match of a black pearl pendant and diamond. Not sure you'll every find a more perfect combo, when it comes to jewellery. Unfortunately, I have no chance of telling you anything about her shoes. The balcony construction makes it almost impossible. But I am still allowed to guess. In my opinion it is most likely that she wore either black or nude pumps. Nevertheless, if you actually manage to find a picture showing just a glimpse of her shoes, don't hesitate to share it with me. Nothing surprising about her outfit, but it works perfectly.

"Transformation"

Thursday, April 13th

In the morning the Crown Princess met with, among others, Eva Kruse CEO of Global Fashion Agenda to talk about Copenhagen Fashion Summit 2018 -an annual meeting focusing on a sustainable fashion industry, here. The event will take place in next month from May 15-16th.

Around afternoon she arrived to YUME in Copenhagen to attend the opening of a new photo exhibition called 'Transformation'. It shows portraits of young Kenyan women from one of Africa's largest slums in Nairobi. The exhibition is a collaboration between photographer Signe Vilstrup and the development organization Plan BØRNEfonden, here. When the Crown Princess arrived she was warmly welcomed by the Vice Chairman of Plan BØRNEfonden Allan Fengerog and CEO of Plan BØRNEfonden Gewn Wisti. They welcomed a smily and good-looking Crown Princess. Minister of Development Ulla Tørnæs also attended the event. Guided by the photographer herself, the Crown Princess listened with great interest to everything she was told and shown at the exhibition. Signe Vilstrup visited Kenya in February to meet and portray the young women exhibited at YUME. I was once told that pictures can say more than a thousand words. Now the young women have the opportunity to tell their story without a single word. Impressive how strong pictures can be.

Think she impressed everyone with her new white blouse featuring floral application. Am I right? The stunning blouse is a Prada design. She embraced the feminine style of the blouse with a pair of black belted trousers and long coat. The coat is a reuse from Harris Wharf London. Makes her look very elegant and everyday chic at the same time.

Keeping the outfit simple and delicate, Mary had chosen to wear drop earrings and a few diamond rings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. All pieces we have seen before; several times actually. Same goes with the bracelet on her right wrist, which is from Dulong Fine Jewelry -I guess. Looks much like their other designs. I do not see any back or clutch, but I differently see black studded pumps from no one else than Valentino. Not sure I'm all thrilled about the combo but she makes it work, especially with the minimalistic coat.

What I really love about this outfit, is the fact that she looks so comfortable and confident in what she's wearing. Now we just need to find out where that new blouse is from.

'Partnerships for Sustainable Financing of Noncommunicable Disease (NCD) Prevention and Control'

Monday, April 9th

As guest of honor the Crown Princess attended the opening of WHO Global Dialogue on Partnerships for Sustainable Financing of (NCD) Prevention and Control taking place in Tivoli Congress Center in Copenhagen. She was in a great mood when arriving to the congress center where she was warmly welcomed. The Crown Princess attended to give the opening speech as key note speaker at the international WHO conference. The conference is organized in collaboration with the  Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and last from April 9-11th. Members from WHO member states, Development Agencies, UN agencies, NGOs, academies, philanthropists and business organizations are just some of those who were invited to participate along with the Crown Princess. Imagine all these people gathered at one place having a dialogue? I guess it takes much time and effort to plan such a conference. But the topic is very relevant and ideal to take up for discussion.

After the grand opening the conference at Tivoli Congress Center, the Crown Princess participated a meeting with eight young people who are part of Youth Lab Meeting.

I am so please that we get to see Mary a little more these days. I kinda missed her and the rest of the family since the funeral of her father-in-law -may he rest in peace. It is simply wonderful to see her smily face and sophisticated style again. At the conference in Copenhagen and meeting with Youth Lab Meeting participant, she was dressed in old goodies. She matched a checkered Lanvin satin blouse with black trousers and her cashmere coat from JOSEPH. For a couple of years it has been up for debate where her blouse is from. Heaven finally confirmed that Lavin is in fact the designer. Mary accessorized the blouse with an old belt from Céline, black suede Gianvito Rossi pumps and that incredible leather bag from Prada. The exact same bag from when she attended the OECD Global Forum on Development in Paris just a couple of days ago, here. Would you add anything like this bag to your wardrobe? Not to forget, Mary dazzled wearing golden earrings featuring diamonds from Dulong Fine Jewelry, a bracelet from same designer, diamond rings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen and that incredible Orit Elhanati necklace. All masterpieces created by Danish designers. Do you have favourite jewellery designers I should know of?

Day 2. 'OECD Global Forum on Development' in Paris

Thursday, April 5th

After a small and private dinner last night hosted by the Danish Ambassador of OECD Klaus A. Holm and his wife Tove Dindler Holm, the Crown Princess participated the OECD Global Forum on Development in Paris. She was welcomed at OECD Chateâu de la Muette by the Genereal Secretary Angel Gurría and her host from last night Denmark's Ambassador at OECD Klaus A. Holm. In the morning she met with the Generel Secretary of OECD, by whom she was also welcomed by, later to give the opening speech at the more official opening. Believe what an honor it must have been for her to give her word at such an important conference discussing issues and possible solutions on empowerment on women and youth -everything the Crown Princess is committed about. Havening given her speech as keynote speaker she participated OECD Global Forum Session 1. I see a very committed and attentive Crown Princess at the session. No doubt, she was all ears.

Suit it -may be the best way to describe who Mary was dressed at the conference in Paris. At the dinner the evening before, she had chosen a rather simple coloured outfit in black and white. The following day she stayed sophisticated in a black blazer from ZARA seen on several other occasions and matching trousers. She paired the black suit with a dusty lilic or maybe more powder pink silk-blend blouse from Hugo Boss. This is a combo seen before not lon ago, here, just without a belt. She embraced the style by wearing earrings from Dulong Fine Jewelry, a few beautiful diamond rings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen and what I believe is bracelets from the same designers as the earrings. But let me know what you think about that suggestion. And please, tell me what you like about this look. Everything or nothing? Personally, I am not completely blown about though I still very much like what I see. Especially because of the Prada handbag and leather pumps from Gianvito Rossi. Makes it all a bit more chic. Anything I would like to have changed? -Well, I really loved the blazer with a belt.

Day 1. 'OECD Global Forum on Development' in Paris

Wednesday, April 4th

Crown Princess Mary has traveled to Paris to participate OECD Global Forum on Development on April 4-5th. OECD is all about improving the economic and social well-being of people around the world. Focusing on empowerment of women and youth, the Crown Princess attend both sessions and address the opening speech on Thursday. She will be in company of both politicians and business representatives to discuss issues and possible solutions on empowerment. Before all this took place, the Crown Princess attended dinner at the Danish Ambassador of OECD Klaus A. Holm and his wife Tove Dindler Holm. Mr. Holm became Ambassador of OECD back in 2013. Only a few photos have been published. Nevertheless it shows a happy Crown Princess and a very smily host. I imagine them having a great evening.

I am a bit surprised to see that Mary had chosen a black and white outfit for this dinner. Looks great and very professional, maybe even a little too much. What was your first impression? Basically what she did, was paring black trousers with a white blouse. Bet we have seen her in the trousers before, but the blouse is indeed brand new. It has been identified as Tibi -a never before worn designers by Mary. Got some pretty incredible details. Then I recognized that she was wearing her Piaget necklace. Goes a few years back when attending Copenhagen International Fashion Fair 2013, here. Do you remember the necklace when it was worn with that beautiful blue Baum und Pferdgarden dress? In total we have seen the necklace six times by now. I see a few other jewellery but I can't tell for sure where the bracelets are from. The photo is too blurred. Nearly forgot to mention her shoes. Mary had chosen a cap-toe pump from Gianvito Rossi to match the rest of her evening outfit.
