Visiting Høng Efterskole

05 November

It was with a great smile on her face when Crown Princess Mary arrived to Høng Efterskole. She payed a visit to the boarding school along with the Mary Foundation. Also health and wellness expert, Chris MacDonald accompanied her. The visit was all about a launching a brand new project focusing on strengthen young people's social skills that should help more young people to combat failure to thrive.

The project is made in collaboration between both the Mary Foundation, Chris MacDonald's non-profit organization, the Tuborg Foundation and The Boarding School Foundation. So right now three boarding school works with the new project. In other words, they are testing the project to find what's good about it and what maybe needs to change. Testing the project includes for the young people to do a series of different exercises about both friendship, understanding oneself and others, etc.

Initially Crown Princess Mary gave a speech talking about how important it is that we all contribute for everybody to feel better socially. For instance she also mentioned that we are all able to find something that connects us no matter how we feel or how we look. Equivalent as always. This is among other things what the Mary Foundation wrote about her visit in their post on Facebook - found below.

Surprisingly Mary was not wearing a coat when she arrived. I do not know why this was, mainly, the first thing I noticed about this visit. Maybe because I can not leave the house for just a few minutes without wearing my coat, gloves, scarf and knitted hat. Yes, I quickly get cold. Nevertheless, Mary looked really stylish when visiting Høng Efterskole.

She was dressed in black fitted trousers, a new grey knitted sleeveless blouse with a white button-down underneath. Only the white sleeves were visible under the grey blouse, so I do not recognize which one of her button-down's it is. Nor do I know a thing about the new knitted turtleneck blouse. Do you? And do you like it? In a way I like that she did now cover up the blouse with a blazer, but instead wore a blouse under.

As jewellery Mary had chosen to diamond earrings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. A creation from one of my favourite collections from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. She also wore three different bracelets from talented Dulong Fine Jewelry. With what I have seen, I get that she was also wearing two rings but at the moment I can not say where they are from. I need some better pictures to show. Her fourth bracelet is her beloved golden bracelet from Cartier. The black pointed ankle boots are from Gianvito Rossi.

Hubertus Hunt in Dyrehaven 2019

03 November

For quiet some years now the Crown Princess and her children have attended the annual Hubertus Hunt in Dyrehaven surrounding the small hunting castle - the Eremitage Castle. This year she watched the hunt with her two children, Prince Christian and Princess Josephine. The three of them had, what looks like, a splendid day in the Danish autumn weather. They enjoyed the hunt from the balcony at the Eremitage Castle which gave them a great view of all the horses, riders and people who had come to Durehaven to follow the ride.

The Hubertus Hunt has, with only a few exceptions, been an annual event since 1900. Originally, dogs were suppose to hunt down foxes. Today the foxes are no longer hunted down by dogs and their riders. Instead two riders acts as foxes. On the hunt, the riders have to cope with more than 30 challenges throughout the 11 kilometers hunt.

This year Crown Princess handed over, for the first time, Crown Princess Mary's Prize of Honor. The Prize were given to the farstest riders on pony, Caroline Nielsen, and horse, Signe Kongebro. Prince Christian and Princess Josephine helped their mother handing over the two prizes. Originally the prize "belonged" to Queen Ingrid, then Prince Henrik handed over the prize in his own name and now Crown Princess Mary is the one to present the prize at the annual event in Dyrehaven.

Crown Princess Mary shared her own photos from the Hubertus Hunt with the children in focus, here.

What I like so much about Mary's style, is the fact that she is able to adjust both colors and fabrics to the time a year and occasion. This has become one of my favourite events because it takes place during autumn (which is my favorite time a year) and usually Mary is wearing my favourite fabrics and colors. She embraced the style by wearing a lovely jacket featuring two large pockets and shiny golden buttons. The significant design had been found at Marc Jacobs. Nevertheless, it has not yet been found in the right color. Kate shared with me the model in a lovely navy blue color. Let me know if you manage to find this jacket in a darker green colors as Mary's. Then one of you made me aware that Mary had actually worn the jacket before back in 2015 at a private event at Broholm Castle, here. Actually I am surprised that I did ont recognize it, because this was one of my favorite outfits at the time.

She matched the new jacket with a magnificent green knitted turtleneck. I have never been able to identify where it is from, but I know that she had worn it several times before. Among others then they all visited Greenland in 2014, here and when she visited Bornholm in 2018, here. Her trousers is also reused. Do you remember that she wore them while interview on occasion of her 40th birthday in the newspaper Berlingske in 2012, here? I once heard Miu Miu mentioned, but I have not been able to confirm that.

With fur cuffs, brown leather boots and her stunning Ralph Lauren quality leather handbag Mary accessorized one of the greatest outfit I think we have seen lately. Wish I was able to rock this outfit with such perfection as Mary did.

Presentation of the Crown Prince Couple's Prizes 2019

02 November

THE ART MUSEUM BRANDTS

In the evening the Crown Prince Couple were participating the Crown Prince Couple's Prizes 2019 in Odense. This is also the occasion why Crown Prince Frederik and his wife, Crown Princess Mary payed a visit to the Art Museum Brandts in the afternoon. Brandts is one of Denmarks first museum's combining art, visual culture and present both new and classic art.

The couple were warmly welcomed with handshakes, smiles and the Crown Princess was of course given a beautiful bouquet of flowers at the arrival. Chairman of the Board of Art Museum Brandts, Bolette Christensen was one of the people who took part in the guided tour given to the Crown Prince Couple while visiting the museum.

It was with great interest that both of them listened, watched and asked questions about the exhibitions. The royal couple got the opportunity to watch an exhibition by Danish artist, Adam Jeppesen. He is, at the moment, exhibiting the exhibition 'The Great Filter". They also admired a brand new exhibition about the island of Funen. After visiting Brandts, the Crown Prince Couple drove to Odeon, where the show was taking place, to participate in the rehearsal, here.

● AWARD SHOW

Time is up! Around 9 pm local time the Crown Prince and Crown Princess arrived in a great spirit to Odeon in Odense where the show was taking place. The show we have all been waiting for since last year. Of course I am talking about The Crown Prince Couple's Prizes 2019.

The show goes back to the time when the couple got married in 2004. It was a gift from the Bikuben Foundation to the couple. The show and its prizes are all about highlight extraordinary achievement in cultural and social work in Danish, Greenlandic and the Faroe Islands. This is why Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary gather people every year - now for 15 years.

From first raw and alternating on stage did the couple participate their own show for around 1,5 hour. It was all broadcasted live on Danish television. If you would like to watch last nights great show, then it can be found right here. Four prizes were presented and handed over by the Crown Prince couple. Here is who won: The Crown Prince Couple's Social Prize was given to Bydelsmødre, meanwhile The Crown Prince Couple's Cultural Prize went to Elsa Dreisig, opera singer. The two Crown Prince Couples Stardust Prizes were given to songwriter and singer, Jada and FRAK - a social economy business. Read more about the winner, here. Congratulation to all the winners!

Visiting the Art Museum Brandts in Odense Mary was beautifully dressed in a lovely color combination of powder pink and light grey. What a stunning outfit. She had chosen to wear all reused clothes. The grey fitted trousers is still unidentified and I have no clue where to find them. So let me know if you have the information about them that I need to track them down.

The powder pink turtleneck blouse is a reuse from ZARA. This is the first time she wears it in public. Mary matched this wonderful blouse with a double-breasted Prada jacket. Also a reuse that goes some years back. Unfortunately, I have never been able to find the exact same model as she is wearing.

She accessorized the chic and feminine outfit by wearing old diamond earrings shaped as flowers. They are from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen, such as the delicate diamond band wrapping around her finger. Last but not least Mary wore light grey suede pointed pumps from Gianvito Rossi. There is no doubt in my mind that I going to try this outfit myself.

I was truly impressed by what Mary wore earlier in the afternoon visiting the art museum in Odense, but her evening wear impressed me even more. She was dressed in a new magnificent creation by Søren Le Schmidt. He confirmed to a good friend of mine that it is a custom-made dress. Just look how the skirt all dramatically makes an entrance. And how her one shoulder and arm is covered by a thin layer of fabric. I can not wait to see this dress again. I imagine it worn with many of her accessories.

This time she had chosen to embrace the style with several golden bracelets. Heaven recognized one of them as being a Rebekka Notkin design. Kate found that her new golden and diamond ring is also a Rebekka Notkin creation. Personally I believe that the larger golden bangle is also a Notkin design as we already know that her shell earrings are. Love how she manages to wear so many jewellery and make it look so simple and casual. And she wore more jewellery. A Dulong Fine Jewelry bracelet and one from Cartier.

She matched all the golden jewellery with pointed golden glitter pumps from Gianvito Rossi and a reused sequin clutch from Prada. From what I hear you also like her outfit at the award show, am I right?

Presentation of the FSR: Denmark's best CSR 2019

31 October

More than once the Crown Princess has attended this annual event. Also last year she attended the presentation of the FSR - Denmark's Best CSR, here. Think it is the fifth or sixth time Crown Princess Mary is attending the award show and presenting the awards.

Each year the organization, FSR (Danish auditors) hand over awards to companies that have managed to make a company that takes the most responsibility. That is why the award is given to companies who made an effort to work to become a more social responsible company.

This is what Crown Princess Mary is supporting by attending the award show at Børsen in Copenhagen each year. From stage she handed over two awards. As a 'large listed company' did A.P. Møller Mærsk receive the title as Denmark's Best CSR-report. Meanwhile Grundfos was given the award as 'large non-listed company'. Executive Vice President, Morten Engelstoft represented A.P. Møller Mærsk and Poul Due Jensen represented Grundfos. Both of them received the awards on stage and the moment were then captured with Crown Princess Mary. Congratulations to both companies with the prestiges award!

Fall has once and for all arrived to Denmark, Copenhagen as well. Personally I am all covered up in knitted hats, scarves, gloves and wool-blend coats. Mary on the other hand had chosen no coat, no warm accessories and no thighs - at least not warm ones. I do not get how she manages to keep comfortable in this little clothes. Nevertheless, I like everything about her outfit from the day she attended the presentation of the FSR - Denmark's best CSR 2019 at Børsen. She looked great in her old black MaxMara jacket which she had belted with a piece from Céline. The belt also goes years back in time, but the lovely dusty pink (or maybe lilic) pleated skirt is brand new. I have not been able to identify her new skirt yet, so let me know if you find out anything interesting about this stunning pieces of clothes. Pleated skirts can be hard to wear, but they always look so beautiful when in motion.

Mary accessorized her outfit with eye-catching python pumps. She had quite a couple of snakeskin and python pumps and these have been part of her wardrobe since around 2017. About now, Mary has worn these shoes with both a navy blue dress, here, a suits, here, a powder pink midi skirt, here, and with rose colored trousers, here. She can now add having worn the python pumps with yet another power pink skirt.

As jewellery, Mary dazzled wearing diamond earrings from Sophie Bille Brahe and a diamond band. That simple golden ring is created by Dulong Fine Jewelry. The quality leather clutch from Quidam perfectly matched the jacket MaxMara jacket. I also noticed her hair at the presentation at Børsen. It looks like a million other times, but somehow I can not get my eyes off her hair. I wish I knew how to make such a perfect blow-out. I have not learned it yet and it will probably take a few more years.
