Day 8.

The Olympic Games 2024

04 August 2024

Queen Mary spend her last day in Paris attending dressage event at Versailles. She was accompanied by Princess Benedikte and her two good friends Helle Trolle and Malou Skeel.

It is not the first time the Queen and Princess Benedikte have teamed up. They also met yesterday for a very important dressage event participated by Nanna Skodborg Merrald, Daniel Bachmann Andersen and the winning team member, Cathrine Laudrup-Dufour.

She really looked wonderful in a reused outfit from Athé Vanessa Bruno and Britt Sisseck. I adore the match of a simple white top and those chic denim-like trousers. The brown leather belt complete the look beautifully! The belt is on my "most wanted list" of findings I wanna do.

Mary embraced the outfit by wearing her Canopy Bay by Deborah Hutton hat and cool Celine sunglasses. These sunglasses are rather new. She first wore them on July 30th. The stunning golden earrings and bangles are creations by Danish goldsmith Dulong Fine Jewelry. She has designed quite a few pieces for Mary the last 20 years - among others, her wedding earrings and the ruby ring matching Queen Ingrid's Ruby Parure.

Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen is the creator of her fine and elegant diamond band.

Presenting the "Crown Prince Couple's Prizes 2023"

The Crown Prince Couple's Social Prize 2023

04 November 2023

On Saturday evening, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary attended the presentation of this years winners of the "Crown Prince Couple's Prizes 2023" (here).

In total, the couple handed over five prizes. The Culture Prize, the Stardust Culture Prize, the Stardust Social Prize and the Social Prize.

The Social Prize was given to the project "Social Drive Out". An initiative that was established during the pandemic. Every week volunteers offer a helping hand to those who need a little support in the everyday. For example, to take with you to the doctor or dentist.

Crown Princess Mary was introduced to the project by one of the volunteers and met some of those who have become part of "Social Drive Out". Her visit was broadcasted during the gala show.

Mary looked great in a casual outfit visiting "Social Drive Out". Love these simple and relaxed looks. They are my greatest inspiration. She had chosen a beloved Harris Wharf London blazer and matched it with a brand new POLO Ralph Lauren button-down. I really like the down-on-earth linen look of her new shirt. Pretty sure she was also wearing a reused pair of Britt Sisseck pants and a brown leather belt.

She embraced the style with small yellow gold diamond earrings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen and a golden cuff crafted by Dulong Fine Jewelry. Her elegant diamond rings are also from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. Look closer and you will see her Halberstadt and Julie Sandlau necklace as well.

The hairband is from Kknekki.

Visiting health care workers in Glostrup

02 February 2023

After attending the presentation of the Children's Aid Award and the Lillebror Prize at National Museum of Denmark (here), Crown Princess Mary payed a visited to health care workers in Glostrup Municipality.

The municipality is part of "Together without Violence - toddler parents". Four other municipalities are also working along with Glostrup to combat domestic violence amongst partners. All health care workers in the participating municipalities are first educated and then trained to watch out for signs of domestic violence, when visiting parents of newborns.

"Together without Violence" is a project in collaboration of the Mary Foundation, Ole Kirk's Foundation and Dialogue against Violence.

Crown Princess Mary participated one of their sessions. She also give a little speech. Among others, she included how unique the health care workers access are to the families and how this makes it possible to discover signs of domestic violence and by that hopefully decrease the number of children growing up in families with violence.

Crown Princess Mary participated group work with the health care workers participating todays teaching

Among others, psychologists from Dialogue against Violence spoke as part of the session

Because Mary visited the health care workers in Glostrup the same day attending the presentation of Children's Aid Award and Lillebror Prize, she was wearing the same outfit (here). She embraced the style by wearing a reused Britt Sisseck blouse with simple black trousers. I guess, Mary could be wearing the JOSEPH cape as well and possibly also her Quidam clutch as earlier the same day.

Unfortunately, I still have no close-up of her ring but the earrings are also the same. They are mastered by Dulong Fine Jewelry. I am a true fan of Mary wearing glasses more often. She has lately. She is especially fond of those tortoise-like glasses from Gucci. Her very fine diamond studded 'F' necklace is crafted by Halberstadt.

Presenting the Children's Aid Award and the Lillebror Prize

02 February 2023

Since 2005, Crown Princess Mary has worked as patron of the Children's Aid Day. This is also why she was attending the presentation of the Children's Aid Award and the Lillebror Prize.

The Children's Aid Award are given in honour of a person who has made an extra effort in helping one of more children in fostercare. This person was Leon Holm Krag. On the other hand, the Lillebror Prize is all about honouring a child who is in fostercare or has been. This years winner was Maja Herholdt.

Crown Princess Mary presented and handed over the two awards in the halls of National Museum of Denmark.

Mary was beautifully dressed at the presentation at National Museum of Denmark. She had chosen one of my favourite Britt Sisseck blouse. Just look at that colour. We truly underestimate orange in our wardrobe. It was with such grace she wore the blouse with a pair of simple black trousers. At the arrival, Mary was wearing an old JOSEPH cape featuring a wonderful little detail. Black leather patches on each shoulder. I love how she wore the wrap from the blouse as a belt. It is all about the little details.

I still, need to identify her nav blue suede boots. She has worn them before, but I was never able to identify them. Nevertheless, I adore how they matched the fine leather clutch from Quidam. If they were a great match with the rest of her outfit, I do not know. What do you think? Go or no go?

Looks like we will be seeing Mary with glasses in the future. She has been wearing those Gucci glasses on every attended event lately. But we do not mind, right?

When admiring her glasses, you will also notice the magnificent golden earrings crafted by Dulong Fine Jewelry. I see a golden ring as well but I need something more to identify it.

Visiting Haslev Idrætsefterskole

14 June 2022

I love these more "unofficial" visits. Her visit to Haslev Idrætsefterskole in Haslev was one of these events. The atmosphere was all relaxed and casual. The Crown Princess visited the school along with the Mary Foundation and on occasion of the Me&We project.

Me&We is developed for students at special school's were children live at the school while studying. This gives the children a more intimate schooltime and is ground for unique (and perhaps, closer) friendships. The project try to ensure a healthy environment amongst the students.

Crown Princess Mary - and the Mary Foundation, discussed both solitude, community and uncertainty with the school's students in a debate during her visit in relation to the Me&We project.

KongehusetBilled BladetBilled BladetBilled BladetGetty ImagesFrederik et Mary

Mary was truly down-on-earth. So was her outfit. I really want to try it myself. It looks both comfortable and chic at the same time. She matched an old linen blazer with a new dark blue blouse and jeans-like trousers from Britt Sisseck. The blazer was brand new in her wardrobe in 2020 (here). The trousers have only been worn at private occasions. Like, when she showed up on the Amalienborg Square on her 50th birthday (here).

She accessorized the look with only a few pieces of jewellery. This makes her outfit even more casual. Dulong Fine Jewelry is the creator of the golden hoop earrings a that rather large ring featuring a green stone. A closer look revealed to me that Mary was also wearing a pair of diamond rings by Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen.

Speaking about iconic designs. Those black/beige cap-toe shoes from Chanel are one of the most classic and iconic designs in history. Mary wore these for the very first time. It is slingback sandals. A really amazing addition to her shoes collection. What kind of sandals do you like to wear during summertime? I am old-fashioned wearing 40s/50s like sandals.

Presentation of the EliteForsk Prizes

24 February

The EliteForsk Prizes were first presented in 2007 and is a handed over by the Minister of Education and Research. Since 2007, the Crown Princess has attended the event for several years. It was also the case this year.

Crown Princess Mary was accompanied by Minister of Education and Research Jester Petersen, when the prizes were handed over at Moltkes Palace in Copenhagen.

The EliteForsk Prizes are presented each year to create as much awareness as possible on leading scientist from each their field of experience. This year, Crown Princess Mary presented five winning scientists: Professor Anne Ladegaard Skov, Professor Anton Pottegård, Professor Felix Riede, Professor Naja Hulvej Rod and Professor Sune Lehmann. They are given 200,000 Danish kroner as a personal honorary award and 1 million Danish kroner to support their research.

Traveling scholarships were also handed over to 20 ph.d. students valued 200,000 Danish kroner. The money are given to support a long-term study stays in an international research environment. Congratulations to all of them and thanks for all their hard (and important) work.

When arriving to Moltkes Palace, Mary showed how to wear a many year old coat. It is a Prada design. Over the years, it has become one of her most beloved coats. Both for more private occasions and officials events. She matched it with simple black trousers and a brand new printed blouse. With some help from one of you my beloved readers, I am now able to tell that Mary's new blouse is from Britt Sisseck. Apparently, it is from a late 2021 collection.

Mary accessorized her lovely outfit with diamond earrings from Sophie Bille Brahe - her cool go-to earrings. She also flashed a magnificent golden ring from Dulong Fine Jewelry. A closer look at the ring revealed her, very unusual, nail polish. This is differently the first time she wears such an imaginative nail design.

She created a beautiful silhouette by wearing a black Isabel Marant leather belt. It made her look super chic! Paired with an exclusive Quidam clutch and black pointed Gianvito Rossi pumps, Mary made this look work very well.

Congratulations to Crown Princess Mary!

05 February

Today, Crown Princess Mary celebrate her 50th birthday. Let us congratulate her with this big day! For quite some time, we have had the pleasure of celebrating her and it continues.

This morning, the royal court shared a new portrait of the Crown Princess. Such a stunning photo. Photographer Hasse Nielsen is the one who captured this glimpse of her. She looks so beautiful and dreamy. I would have this in a frame on my wall.

The Crown Princess also surprised all of us because she showed up in front of Frederik VIII's Palace at Amalienborg to greet all of the Danes, who wanted to congratulate her (here). Prince Christian, Princess Isabella and Prince Vincent accompanied their mother and thanked all of them with huge smiles.

Mary gave a number of exclusive interviews on occasion of her birthday. Hasse Nielsen is the photographer of many of the new photos published along with the interviews. The gorgeous outfit she was wearing in the new official portrait has also been seen before. Her stunning sequin gown is a creation by Jenny Peckham. Just look at that colour. It is really magnificent next to her fair skin and dark brown hair. She embraced the style with a couple of diamond rings - one of them is from Dulong Fine Jewelry - and her beloved golden Cartier bangle. Her love bracelet.

The outfit she wore at the greeting in from of Amalienborg was lovely. This is truly wonderful to see her in these relaxed and cosy outfits. Without makeup and all natural. I guess this is why we love her. Heaven managed to identify Mary's brand new trousers as Britt Sisseck. I hope she will wear them on a more official occasion with some heels. The navy blue turtleneck is also new. It is not identified yet, but the style is so close to Ralph Lauren that I strongly believe they could be the designer. She wore a Kknekki hairband and her Cartier bracelet as a match. The glasses are from Gucci.

The opening of "Crown Princess Mary Center – solving problems through research and partnerships"

02 February

The "Crown Princess Mary Center - solving problems through research and partnerships" is the name of a new science center at University of Copenhagen. On February 2nd, the Crown Princess was accompanied by her husband Crown Prince Frederik, when attending the grand opening of the new center.

The Crown Princess Mary Center aims to build an interdisciplinary knowledge environment. To focus on new solutions to current societal challenges where people are at the center. The Crown Princess will also be part of the Advisory Committee connected to the center.

After the couple arrived to the University of Copenhagen, Crown Princess Mary gave a speech on occasion of the opening. Among others, she included the Danish tradition of partnerships and how this will be a central part of the new Crown Princess Mary Center.

I do like Mary's outfit from the opening, but in my opinion, it was a bit clumsy. Maybe too many layers? She was wearing a brand new black "vest-dress". The details are so sharp and well-made. Danish designer Søren Le Schmidt is the master behind her new dress. The simple white blouse is a Briit Sisseck design. Worn before at, among others, the opening of the "Fashion Fair 2021" (here). The black coat looks old, but I cannot figure out when or where we have seen it. Do you recognize it?

Mary embraced the style with a lovely golden brooch featuring the most amazing purple stones. We have seen it before, but I have never been able to identify it. I think it could be purchased on an auction. The diamond studs are still mystery to me. They are so beautiful, but I do not know where they are from. Her rather large golden ring is by Dulong Fine Jewelry.

Last but not least. She accessorized her outfit with Tom Ford glasses and an exclusive black leather clutch from Quidam. A loved pieces in her wardrobe. Once again, Mary wore her purple Aquazzura boots. The colour is absolutely outstanding. One day I would really like to see them in full length. Without anything covering them. Do you like such knee-length boots?

Human Rights Conference 2021

17th August

The day before, Crown Princess Mary attended the opening of Human Rights Forum 2021 in the UN City in Copenhagen. On Tuesday, she attended the Human Rights Conference, which is part of the Human Rights Forum. The forum takes place from August 16th to 20th due to WorldPride and EuroGames. These events goes by the name Copenhagen 2021. All these events takes human rights to a whole other level.

The three day conference is all about connecting education with art, sports, culture, health and freedom to be who you are.

Crown Princess Mary arrived to Øksnehallen in Copenhagen Tuesday morning attend the conference. Shortly after a warm welcoming, the Crown Princess entered the stage and gave a remarkable speech. Truly, words are her strength. No doubt about that. You find her speech here.

It was as patron of Copenhagen 2021 that she gave her speech. She was not the only one to address the importance of human rights. Ann Linde, Minister of Foreign Affairs from Sweden and Minister of Culture and Equality from Norway Abid Raja also made their point of view known with some great speeches.

Hey! What is not to like? I am simply impressed, speechless and overwhelmed by Mary's outfit at the Human Rights Conference. The combination of those pink wide-legged trousers and that new white blouse are so beautiful. I would wear those 31 Philip Lim trousers right away if I had longer and slimmer legs. But nature wanted something else for me. Royal Fashion Police made me aware of the designer (here).  Mary belted her look with a little more gold. She has worn these trousers on one other occasion. It was for a birthday celebration for Queen Margrethe back in April. The new white blouse has been found by UFO No More at Britt Sisseck. Lovely design!

Mary accessorized her look with some pretty incredible jewellery. All golden pieces. The diamond earrings are old ones from Sophie Bille Brahe. She has already worn these on many occasions. The same goes with her golden Cartier bangle. Mary also wore two other golden bangles. They are both from talented Rebekka Notkin.

The stunning brown leather tote from Max Mara is new as well. For a long time, I have been looking for something like this. I adore Mary's tote bags, but somehow they are not that easy to find for those of us who do no have the same budget. I am still searching for the right one. Her magnificent pink suede pumps have been identify as her old Jimmy Choo pumps. Made me think: I do not wear colored pumps enough. Do you?

Opening of Fair Festival 2021

19th March

Fair Festival 2021 is Denmark's biggest digital festival for sustainable products and Crown Princess Mary attended the grand opening at the city hall in Aarhus.

The association Fair Festival and Globe Go Green collaborated to arrange Fair Festival back in 2019 to spread the knowledge about sustainable consumption, sustainability in general and the climate changes we face today. They repeated the success this year with this digital gathering. The festival was organized around two of UN's world goals - number 12 and 17. World goal 12 is all about responsible consumption and production and the 17th goal is partnership for action.

Crown Princess Mary seemed excited at the arrival. All smiles and warm eyes. She was about to give a speech at the opening of the Fair Festival 2021. In her speech, she made it clear that need to become more innovative and visionary in our way of thinking, our approach, collaborations and our solutions. Fair Festival is exactly that - a way for us to see the future and what we are already good at. Read her entire speech here.

The festival had others keynote speakers too. Among others, Kristine Overgaard Nielsen - the CEO of Globe Go Green and founder of the Association Fair Festival.

Mary is truly committed to sustainability and what comes with it. We have already achieved so much, but we are not there yet. Speaking at the opening of a festival dedicated to sustainability and sustainable solutions, Mary wisely chose a reused outfit. Old goodies from head to toe.

The lovely black coat with the outstanding beadings, is a creation made by YDE Copenhagen. A really beautiful coat. Don't you think? Once again, she matched it with her crispy white blouse from Britt Sisseck. She matched this combo with simple fitted black trousers. The same as when she attending Copenhagen Fashion Week in 2017 (here) and when she presented the Magasin du Nord Fashion Prize in 2019 (here). How would you style such a coat?

Mary embraced her outfit with magnificent diamond earrings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. They are from their Winter Frost collection. Her stunning green emerald ring is from Annikat. The black croco clutch is one of her favorites from Carlend Copenhagen. I have one myself in pink snakeskin and it is a lovely clutch to carry your most important belongings. To me it looks like her shoes are from Valentino. Studded leather pumps - in green.

Presentation of the Magasin du Nord Fashion Prize 2019

05 November

The Crown Princess had already visited Høng Boarding School, here, but in the evening she was on the road again. For at least five years Crown Princess has attended the presentation of the Magasin du Nord Fashion Prize. This year the award show took place at Charlottenborg in Copenhagen.

The Honorary Award was first handed over in 2012 by the Magasin du Nord Fondation and has become one of the most important in fashion awards given in Denmark. With the award the foundations aim to find and promote future Danish fashion designers especially with focus on how sustainable each nominee are in their production.

Before handing over the prize all nominees posed for a picture along with the Crown Princess. But the overall winner of the Magasin du Nord Fashion Prize 2019 was Carcel, here. A brand that hires imprisoned women in both Thailand and Peru. These women are employed to produce the Carcel clothing. Carcel's mentality is that this initiative will secure fair wages and help the women to learn new skills and by that break with poverty.

Veronica D'Souza received the prize as one of the founders of Carcel. With the prize also follows a mentor program where members of the jury are there to help strengthen the brand. This is a new initiative that follows the winners. All the best wishes and congratulations to Carcel with the prestiges prize.

Usually Mary is a bit more dramatic dressed when attending presentation of the Magasin du Nord Fashion Prize. But this year she had chosen to keep ti simple. She was dressed in her reused white Britt Sisseck blouse matched with black fitted trousers and an old embroidered YDE Copenhagen coat. Though it is not the most overwhelming and surprising outfits, it works just great. Especially I like the shortened sleeves on the coat that makes the sleeves from the blouse visible. Love how the two materials are a contrast.

Once before we have seen this combo. It was when Mary attended the opening of the Cultural Year 2019 between South Korea and Denmark in January, here. She first wore  the blouse with the beautiful coat in 2017 at Copenhagen Fashion Week, here.

She accessorized the look by wearing incredible green leather Valentino Pumps studded with rivets. Classy Valentino pumps in a vivid color. That is what makes Mary one of the most stylish women in the world in my opinion - she wears everything classy with a twist. The earrings are the same a worn earlier that day. Winter frost earrings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. Her fine green emerald ring is from Annikat.

Opening of the Cultural Year 2019 between South Korea & Denmark

30 January

Earlier that day, Crown Princess Mary visited the Volunteer House Trøjborg in Aarhus, here. On occasion of that she also payed a visit to "Cases that Gathers". Two volunteer initiatives.

In the evening, Crown Princess Mary attended the official opening of the Cultural Year 2019 between South Korea and Denmark. She attended as both guest of honor and patron of the event. For more than 60 years, South Korea and Denmark have had diplomatic relations that are now celebrated with a common cultural year for the two countries. The arrangement is set to focus on both youth and innovation in the cultural exchange. That is what the Crown Princess has accepted to represent.

The opening took place at the Art Hall Aarhus. Here numerous representatives attended the opening along with Crown Princess Mary. The southkorean artist Kim Boem has an exhibition at Art Hall Aarhus, which the Crown Princess was shown with great interest and admiration. No doubt that everyone were in a good mood during the opening of the Cultural Year 2019 between South Korea and Denmark. Let the celebration begin.

I almost missed this event. I have been a few days behind and nearly forgot all about this one. Not good. But luckily I didn't, which would also have ben quite a shame because Mary's outfit looked so nice. She had chosen to wear her old black YDE Copenhagen coat featuring incredible work of embroidery. She first wore it on occasion of Copenhagen Fashion Week 2017, here with the very same white Britt Sisseck blouse as this Wednesday. Later Mary showed up wearing the coat at the Cancer Society's Honorary Award 2018, here. I still like it and it looks great with the black trousers.

Mary embraced the chic style by wearing lovely jewellery. A first I thought it was her old ruby earrings featuring a white pearl pendant, but that is only a suggestion. She also wore her golden Cartier bangle and one from Dulong Fine Jewelry. Her fine green emerald ring is from Annikat.

The shoes you know all about. A pair of classy pointed Valentino's, studded and in green leather. Don't thought I would ever fancy these pumps in green, but Mary know how to rock even green leather pumps. Right? You probably also noticed that little black clutch box. It is from Louis Vuitton. From what I know, we first saw the clutch back in 2009 at the premiere of "At the End of the World", here. And of course (not to forget) she styled her simple hairstyle with a hairclip.

On a visit in Aarhus

30 January

Crown Princess Mary spend her day in Aarhus, all as patron of the European Voluntary Capital Aarhus in 2018.

First, she visited the Volunteer House Trøjborg. The volunteer house is room to gathered people; where associations and clubs can hold meetings for free and unfold their activities. It is all about volunteer work and what it brings to the community. When the Crown Princess visited Trøjborg she attended the initiative "Play at the Nursing Home". Here parents on maternity leave and their children meet weekly with the nursing home residents. Nursing homes all across Denmark participated in the initiative. In Aarhus 10 nursing homes are part of the project. And what a lovely idea. Both parents, babies and the elderly who attended had a wonderful time sining and dancing. If you need a smile on your face then watch the video. I assure you; you can't help yourself from smiling.

Later in the afternoon, the Crown Princess payed a visit to "Cases that Gathers", which is a community of citizens who try help each other to solve everyday problems. During her visit she was introduced to several everyday initiatives developed by the community. Some of them also attended the meeting and got the chance to tell the Crown Princess about "Cases that gathered". It was with great interest that she listened to everything she was told. To me she seemed overwhelmed and proud on their behalf of what they have been able to accomplish.

During her day in Aarhus Mary showed the very best of her style. I am absolutely in love with her outfit. The colours are great. Arriving to Trøjborg she wore her old By Malene Birger coat - a stunning beige wool coat. It goes back to 2016. Since then we have seen her wear the coat several times, here, here, here. Mary matched the coat with a reused Britt Sisseck silk blouse and black trousers. Bet you like her blouse as much as me. The colours and pattern are simply outstanding. I can't tell for sure if we seen the trousers before, but I think we have. Such as with the belt. To me it looks like her old Céline belt.

It's all about the details, right? Mary wore plenty of outstanding accessories when visiting both Trøjborg and the "Cases that Gathers" initiative. First thing I noticed was the earrings. It is her old Dulong Fine Jewelry worn with a brand new pendant from the same designer (collection: SS19). This designer also created her two bracelets. We have seen her wear them before on numerous occasions. She also embraced the style by wearing her (truly) old Cartier watch. Feels like we haven't seen that in years, as with the Georg Jensen ring. Two incredible pieces of jewellery. I do not see a bag. Maybe she just left it in the car. The shoes are from Gianvito Rossi - a pair of black pointed ankle boots. Personally I can't get enough of her outfit. I want to try it right away.

Visiting 'Kræftværket' at Rigshospitalet

Tuesday, December 11th

Tuesday morning the Crown Princess attended a conference at Eigtveds Pakhus in Copenhagen. The conference focused on gender equality and health for women in the private sector. It was organized by Sex og Samfund, Investeringsfonden for Udviklinglande (IFU) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, here.

Later in the evening she payed an unofficial visit to Kræftværket at Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen, here. Kræftværket is a place to meet for young diagnosed with cancer. Here the young patients got the opportunity to meet others the same age; in the same situation as themself.

Crown Princess Mary has visited Kræftværket several times the last couple of years, here, here. Last year she also visited Rigshospitalet unofficially. Seems like everybody enjoyed spending the evening together. There was room for both laughter and vulnerable stories, which is also what Kræftværket is all about.

Visiting Kræftværket Mary was beautifully dressed in a reuse Britt Sisseck blouse and fitted black trousers. Actually we have seen this combination once before - the blouse and trousers. A really lovely match, don't you think? I would really love to have seen some more pictures from her visit. But we have to do with what we have so far.

To me it looks like she embraced the style with golden jewellery. First of all I see her wearing a golden bracelet from Dulong Fine Jewelry featuring diamonds. She has worn this pieces quite a lot lately. Then she is wearing a golden ring. A leaf shapes as a ring. It is from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. Usually Mary wears this ring with a diamond band as well, but not this time. I also see golden earrings. My first assumption about the new golden earrings was that they could be from Orit Elhanti. I made a request and it was confirmed. Mary wore custom-made earrings from Orit Elhanti. They are available online with opals.

I imagine her wearing either black pumps are boots to match the rest of her look. A simple and good-looking outfit.

Day 1. Visiting the European Council in Strasbourg

Monday, January 22nd

For two days the Crown Princess is visiting the European Council in Strasbourg, France. On same occasion she is also present at the European Parliamentary Assembly Session. On this trip is also the Danish Minister of Foreign Affairs Anders Samuelsen. The Crown Princess arrived one day early to attend a private dinner hosted by the Danish ambassador, who is also a permanent member of the council. He and his wife warmly welcomed the Crown Princess, such as flower girls handed over flowers to her at the arrival. With this very unofficial welcoming ceremony, I am positively sure the Crown Princess enjoyed the evening in Strasbourg with good company and a fine dinner.

At the dinner Mary was beautifully dressed in a very chic and stylish outfit. For these occasions we rarely see her in anything else but dresses. This time everything was different because she showed up wearing a blouse and trousers. The blouse is new and features a significant feather-like print such as a eye-catching colour. Heaven suggest Britt Sisseck and I think she is on to something right. As with the new beige wool coat, as she think is from Max Mara. I truly believe she has found what Mary was wearing at the dinner. Non of us have found the exact same model talking about the blouse, but it is similar to this and this. She embraced the style by wearing black slim trousers, a matching Quidam clutch, grey Gianvito Rossi pumps and caramel coloured leather gloves. Yet, she wore another accessory, which I have heard no one talk about. What a shame. Because Mary is also wearing new earrings as well. With no doubt in my mind, I would say they are custom made Kharisma earrings from Dulong Fine Jewelry similar in concept as these. I can not say anything bad about her outfit. I absolutely love every single detail.

Neighborhood Mothers

Tuesday, November 28th

On Tuesday, the Crown Princess visited the organization Neighborhood Mothers, here. It was an unofficial visit. I learned about it on the royal family's Facebook page. Neighborhood Mothers is an organization consists primarily of women with an ethnic minority background, who volunteer local efforts to support other women. All this for women to be better at helping themselves and their family. The organization has 40 groups across Denmark. I have only been able to find very little information about the visit, but I know the Crown Princess was told about the organization's work and experiences on supporting other women. From what I see the atmosphere was very relaxed and all of them seemed to have a great time.

During her visit at Neighborhood Mothers Mary was beautifully dressed in a brand new blouse featuring white dots. When I first was it; Julie Fagerholt Heartmade was the first designer that crossed my mind. Well, that was not the case. I shared my thoughts with a good friend of mine and Kate managed to find out where it is actually from. Britt Sisseck is the one. End of November Mary also dazzled in her design. Do you remember her Sisseck dress from when she handed over the Magasin du Nord Fashion Prize 2017, here? This time she matched her Sisseck creation with a pair of black trousers. My guess is that she wore black ankle boots to match the rest of the outfit. Any other ideas? Unfortunately, only a few pictures have been published so I can't tell for sure. Think she was wearing her diamond rings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen as well.

Magasin du Nord Fashion Prize 2017

Friday, October 27th

It has been some longs for the Crown Princess lately. On Friday she arrived to Art Gallery Charlottenborg in Copenhagen to attend the presentation of the Magasin du Nord Fashion Prize 2017, here. The Crown Princess was in a great spirit at the arrival and was warmly welcomed. She was about to hand over the Denmark's biggest design prize. The Magasin du Nord Fashion Prize  is given to a young design talents and goes with a scholarship on DKK 500,000 and his/her very own fashion show at Copenhagen Fashion Week. This year the young talent Lærke Andersen received the prestiges prize handed over by the Crown Princess herself. Lærke Andersen, who seemed overwhelmed and very happy at the presentation, gladly talked with the Crown Princess about her visions, ideas and goals in her carrier. The guest of honor also seemed to enjoy the company of her friend Nina Wedell-Wedellsborg, who attended the award show as board member.

A fashion award show takes a well-chosen outfit. Mary showed up in a brand new printed dress that really reminds me of a classy 70s dress. Both when it comes to the fabric, print, colours and silhouette. Even the collar call for a 70s dress. Not that the rest of her outfit reminds my anything of a vintage look -other than the dress. Do you like it? I'd really like to hear your opinion. Seems like Mary wasn't the only one falling in love with this Britt Sisseck dress. Also her attending friend Nina Wedell-Wedellsborg showed up in the exact same dress. Mary embraced the style by wearing a wide navy blue belt, which according to Jennifer is from Max Mara collection. Another blue accessory worn during the fashion event is her Quidam clutch. This means, three days with her beloved clutch, here & here. Great to see how to wear the exact same item in three different ways. It is also wonderful to see her wear the golden Orit Elhanati necklace and white people earrings from Dulong Fine Jewelry again. Can't get enough of these stylish accessories. Last piece I need to comment on are the pumps. She has worn them on several different occasions but never been identified. With this picture, here, I strongly believe Prada is the designer we are looking for. Let me know what you think and of course if you manage to find them.
