King Frederik and Queen Mary were invited as guests of honor to attend Holstebro's 750th anniversary. During the past year, the city has celebrated the up coming anniversary with more 750 different events and todays gathering were the official celebration.
The royal couple were warmly welcomed by Mayor H.C. 脴sterby at the city hall. They enjoyed lunch at Restaurant JA - the city's old iron foundry. After a fine lunch, the King and Queen went for a walk down the streets of Holstebro. Right down to the Danish Talent Academy.
I have always been a huge fan of colored winter coats like the one Mary was wearing in Holstebro. Wanted one for years when a beloved friend of mine gifted me with a dark red wool-blend one. Wouldn't live without it in my wardrobe. Love wearing colors.
Mary looked absolutely stunning in her brand new orange coat from Max Mara. Can't wait for her to wear it again. She matched the beautiful coat with a reused printed Saloni dress. What is no to like about this combo?
She also accessorized the outfit with a magnificent hairband created by Jane Taylor. First worn in December 2019 an again in November 2022. Think Mary's is custom-made. Love that Mary styled the dress with matching suede Aquazzura boots and Hugo Boss clutch.
As jewellery, she had chosen shiny diamond earrings from Sophie Bille Brahe and a couple of rings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen.

American Chamber of Commerce's 25th anniversary

American Chamber of Commerce in Denmark - or AmCham Denmark, celebrated their 25th anniversary as a non-profit business representing more than 230 companies from both America, Danish and internationally. These companies have investments in both Denmark and the United States. AmCham is part of the international AmCham-network existing in more than 100 countries.
King Frederik and Queen Mary attended the celebration as guests of honor. The anniversary dinner took place at Moltke's Palace in Copenhagen. The King and Queen were not the only ones invited. Among the guests were also Danish Minister of the Interior and Health Sophie L酶hde, Minister of Business Morten B酶dskov and the US Ambassador in Denmark Alan Leventhal.
Lately, I think Mary has switched from amazing and outstanding outfits to a little odd combinations. Do you get what I mean? Like her outfit at the evening banquet on October 8th. That was a bit strange. Visiting Brazil earlier this months, she looked super chic!
This evening at the AmCham dinner, Mary looked absolutely smashing in her reused velvet gown created by Jesper H酶vring. Just look at the details. It's so simple, yet so detailed. I love the splash of colour. Makes the dress even more classy.
Mary styled the dress with shiny golden earrings from Rebekka Notkin and a couple of bracelets from the same talented Danish designer. Rebekka Notkin's jewellery are wonderful! Mary was also wearing a diamond ring and bracelet from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen.
The yellow satin Yves Saint Laurent clutch is such a clever move. It matches perfectly the dress. We get a glimpse of her black patent Gianvito Rossi pumps. Also worn the previous day.

Presentation of the Christmas stamp 2024

Queen Mary attended the presentation of the annual Christmas Stamp as patron of Julem忙rkefonden. The big reveal took place at Copenhagen city hall.
Artist Niels Ditlev had the honor of designing this years Christmas stamp. The task was maybe a little more special this time because the stamp was dedicated to the new King and Queen. The Christmas stamp 2024 is entitled "Christmas in the kingdom - yesterday, today and tomorrow". Niels Ditlev created a designed with many references of Danish history.
Count Ingolf and his wife Countess Sussie of Rosenborg also attended the presentation as patron of the Christmas stamp march and because of their work as ambassador's of the Christmas stamp homes.
Earlier that morning, Frederik and Mary both attended the official farewell to Iceland's President and her husband who have been visiting Denmark the last couple of days. Mary chose to wear the very same outfit at the presentation of the Christmas stamp at the city hall around noon. She dazzled in a reused Zimmermann blouse and wide-legged JOSEPH trousers with a Prada belt. She also wore a beautiful white coat at the arrival.
The delicate diamond earrings are still a mystery to me but I know about the stunning custom-made Dulong Fine Jewelry bracelets, the diamond rings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen and her new brooch. It shows this years Christmas stamp.

(Day 3.) Officiel state visit from Iceland

Iceland's President Halla T贸masd贸ttir and her husband Bj枚rn Sk煤lason have been on a two-days official state visit in Denmark. They arrived on October 8th.
Today, King Frederik and Queen Mary hosted an official farewell at Christian VII's Palace at Amalienborg. President Halla T贸masd贸ttir and Bj枚rn Sk煤lason followed a more than 160 year old tradition and wrote their signature at a piece of window glass.
Mary matched a reused printed blouse from Zimmermann with wide-legged JOSEPH trousers. I tend to say that this is a "signature outfit". It is a good-old go-to which we have seen a million times before but it never gets out of style. The Prada belt is a classy detail.
I see a pair of diamond earrings. I have never been able to learn more about them. Hope I will one day. They are stunning! So is the custom-made Dulong Fine Jewelry bracelets. Would really (really) like to own one of these 'Piccolo' bracelets. Love the mix of different stones. Think it is the first time Mary wears two at the same time. Do you like it? She also embraced the outfit with three diamond rings. The bands are Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen.

Day 2. Official state visit from Iceland

Yesterday, the Icelandic President and her husband arrived in Copenhagen for a two-days official state visit. The King and Queen warmly welcomed the couple at Nordre Toldbod.
Today, the royal couple accompanied President Halla T贸masd贸ttir and husband Bj枚rn Sk煤lason for a visit at "State of Green" which is a private-public partnership between the Danish government, companies and actors within the energy sector. Among others, the Presidential couple also paid a visit at Copenhagen Business School and attended the conference "Iceland and Denmark's Path to Shared Success".
Laster on, the King and Queen attended a business conference at Danish Industry along with the Presidential couple.
I really hoped for something else but you never fail with a good old suit from Scanlan & Theodore and a plain white Hugo Boss blouse. Right? Mary wore the same combo when celebrating Queen Margrethe's 83rd birthday in April 2023 and at a state visit in Spain in 2023.
This time, Mary accessorized the dusty green suit with brand new white pearl earrings from Dulong Fine Jewelry and a beautiful beaded brooch. I have never been able to identify the brooch. Maybe I will one day. Could it be a one-of-a-kind? It is a reuse such as the elegant diamond ring from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen.
The chic snake pumps are old ones from Gianvito Rossi. She wore the exact same pumps at the state visit in Spain last year. I never really understood the thing about snakeskin/python pumps, but Mary changed my mind.

Return event at the Northatlantic Brygge
Island's President Halla T贸masd贸ttir hosted a return event at the Northatlantic Brygge in Copenhagen. Usually, the royal couple host a dinner or banquet in honor of the visiting couple and they host a return event as a "thank you for your hospitality during our visit".
Princess Benedikte was also present at the event such as the Icelandic ambassador in Denmark P茅ter 脕sgeirsson.
Mary wore this suit back in 2015 when attending "World Cancer Day". I have thought about it for years, when she would wear it again. Today it happened! Back then I was not sure about it being a two-piece or a jumpsuit. I go with a jumpsuit. Seems most likely. The black belt is a reuse from Celine. At the arrival, Mary was wearing an old black Prada coat.
She embraced the style with ruby earrings and bracelet inherited from Queen Ingrid. Both are part of the Queen's ruby parure. I am sure you noticed her exclusive ruby ring. It belonged to Queen Alexandrine. She wore it as a brooch. Queen Alexandrine even wore it on her engagement photos (link below). Mary paired it with a diamond band from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen and a silver one from Dulong Fine Jewelry.
As with the jumpsuit, we haven't seen these black patent pumps from Gianvito Rossi for quite some years. Mary was very fund of these pumps years ago.

Day 1. Official state visit from Iceland

Welcoming
Queen Mary just arrived home from a four-days visit to Brazil. A couple of days later, her and King Frederik are hosting an official state visit from Iceland's President Halla T贸masd贸ttir and her husband Bj枚rn Sk煤lason. They will stay in Denmark from October 8-9th.
King Frederik and Queen Mary welcomed the President and Bj枚rn Sk煤lason at the harbor of Nordre Toldbod in Copenhagen. The four of them accompanied each other for a visit at Kastellet - a war memorial. The honored soldiers and their families with a wreath.
Before visiting the Icelandic cultural center J贸nsh煤s in Copenhagen, the couple were officially welcomed at Amalienborg. In the afternoon, the royal couple and the Presidentail couple visited the Arnamagnean Collection at University of Copenhagen.
Mary looked absolutely splendid when welcoming Iceland's President Halla T贸masd贸ttir and her husband Bj枚rn Sk煤lason. She wore a reused purple dress created by Danish designer S酶ren Le Schmidt. The details are magnificent! Mary first wore this stunning dress in 2023 when attending the coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla. Back then, she styled the dress with a custom-made headpiece from Jane Taylor. On October 8th, she wore the same piece but without the vail.
Somehow, her fine little Amethyst necklace caught all the attention. I get it. The necklace is indeed beautiful and we haven't seen it for many years. Yes, she has worn it before. Mary first wore the Hugo Grun necklace when honored being new patron of the Kidney Association in June 2005. Then again in October 2005. She even wore it for official photos when Crown Prince Christian was born. Last but not least, Mary wore the necklace in 2009.
Mary also embraced the outfit with a lovely Carlend Copenhagen clutch and dusty rose patent pumps from Gianvito Rossi.

Banquet at Amalienborg
In the evening, the royal couple hosted a banquet in honor of the Icelandic Presidential couple visiting Denmark. The dinner took place at Christiansborg Castle.
Princess Benedikte also attended the prestiges banquet such as members of the Danish Government, representatives from Danish and Icelandic businesses, culture and sports. The Icelandic business delegation and representatives from the Danish court were also invited.
Both President Halla T贸masd贸ttir and King Frederik gave a speech at the banquet.
I like the idea of mixing and matching, new and old. Adore the midnight blue outfit and shiny diamond jewellery. Somehow, I'm still a bit confused. Both the Jesper H酶vring top and ruffle Oscar de la Renta skirt are outstanding but I'm not in love with the combo. What was your first reaction? I'd really like to hear you out on this one.

Day 4. Official visit to Brazil

Queen Mary has spend the last three days in Brazil along with Danish Minster of Climate, Energy and Supply Lars Aagaard. They were welcomed with a performance at the Teatro Amazonas, met with Brazil's President Luiz In谩cio Lula da Silva and visited the INPA - the national research center in the Amazon region.
On her last day in the city of Bras铆lias, the two of them accompanied each other one last time when visiting the botanic garden in Bras铆lias. It was as patron for UNEP - the United Nation's Environmental Program she visited the botanic garden, which is an area for nature conservation.
I really liked her style during the visit in Brazil. We have seen new and old pieces from her wardrobe, classy and elegant outfits. My favorite look from her travel is (by no doubt) her colorful evening outfit from the first day. I was baffled. Enough about that.
Mary spend her last day in Bras铆lias, Brazil by visiting the botanic garden. She wisely had chosen a simple casual outfit for the occasion. She reused the linen Bagutta button-down and a chic dusty green By Malene Birger skirt. Maybe you remember her wearing the skirt in Fiji last year? The brown leather belt from Max Mara was a great detail. So is the blue Gucci shades and Canopy Bay by Deborah Hutton hat.
She styled the look with golden earrings and a diamond bangle from Dulong Fine Jewelry, an Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen ring and necklaces from Halberstadt and Julie Sandlau. The fine ballet flats are Prada and the cool white sneakers are from Adidas.

Meeting with Brazil's President
In the morning, Queen Mary attended a meeting with Brazil's President Luiz In谩cio Lula da Silva at the Presidential palace Pal谩cio do Planalto. Danish Minister of Climate, Energy and Supplies Lars Aagaard accompanied her at the meeting.
Queen Mary and Minister Lars Aagaard will spend the next two days in Bras铆lia.
Do you feel like we have seen this outfit before? You are right. Mary wore a similar outfit in 2016 when on a business promotion visit in the United States and in 2023 visiting India. The dress is truly beautiful. The simple silhouette and the elegant floral print. What is not to like? Love to see this dress again.

A school visit and a visit to Embrapa Cerrados
After her meeting the President Luiz In谩cio Lula da Silva, Queen Mary paid a visit to a public school in Bras铆lia. She was, once again, accompanied by Lars Aagaard - Danish Minster of Climate, Energy and Supply. They were given knowledge about the schools school food program.
The traveling partners then visited Embrapa Cerrados which is an agricultural research institute in the Cerrado of the savanna area. The Embrapa Cerrados work with challenges and opportunities in relation to agriculture's impact on biodiversity and the environment in Brazil.
What a lovely outfit! I am pleased to see her wear that Stella Jean dress again. Always adored its silhouette and dusty blue colour. She made a wonderful choice with the braided Zimmermann belt. First worn at the Olympic Games in August. Works beautifully with a dress as well. Do you favor it worn with trousers or dress?
The brown Michel Vivien sandals were also a magnificent addition to her outfit! Later on, she changed to white Adidas sneakers. Like how it turned out both casual yet super chic. Perfect for a visit in Brazil in October. As jewellery, Mary was wearing golden Dulong Fine Jewelry earrings and a custom-made ring. The fine Halberstadt necklace and Rebekka Notkin bracelet were the cherry on the ice cream.

Work dinner with UNFPA
In the evening, Queen Mary was invited as guest of honor and as patron of UNFPA to attend a work dinner with UNFPA - the United Nations Population Fund. The dinner took place at the Danish embassy in Braz铆lia. Minister of Climate, Energy and Supply Lars Aagaard also attended the dinner.
Mary. You look like a shining star. A true Queen in that Diane von Furstenberg halterneck and skirt. The colours are smashing to her fair skin and chestnut hair. It is indeed a blouse and skirt even though it looks like a dress. Even more because of the red crystal belt from Dolce & Gabbana. She has both worn clothes and belt before.

Day 2. Official visit to Brazil

Queen Mary is currently on official visit in Brazil and is accompanied by Danish Minister of Climate, Energy and Supply Lars Aagaard. She arrived yesterday to the Amazon region.
On Thursday, she started her second day in Brazil by visiting INPA - the national research center for the Amazon forest. The research center has made a significant research of the physical environment and living conditions in the region.
Queen Mary then visited CBA - Center for Bio-economy in the Amazon Forest. The center was founded in Manaus in 2002. It work to promote the sustainable development of the region of Amazon.
She ended her second day in Manaus with lunch at a local restaurant. A lunch made with products from the Amazon forest eaten by the locals on a daily basis. And yes, she was served ants (馃檴).
Mary looked so beautiful in her summery Sandro dress. I really like how light this dress is and the print is so fine and delicate. She was the dress just a couple of months ago when hosting a meeting with the Mary Foundation in August. Perfect for a casual meeting and an official visit abroad.
I love how Mary styled her outfit with reused costume-made Dulong Fine Jewelry earrings. Adored them for years. The splash of colours are wonderful. She first wore them in 2007 when spending a day in LegoLand. A very unofficial event. The golden ring is also a Dulong Fine Jewelry creation. Day 1. Official visit to Brazil

A visit at the Amazon region
Queen Mary will be on official vist to Brazil from October 2-5th along with Danish Minister of Climate, Energy and Supply Lars Aagaard. The visit is to focus on the Danish-Brazilian cooperation on biodiversity, combating violence against women and health. She will be staying in Manaus the first two days of her visit.
When first arriving on October 2nd, the Queen joined a boatride on the Amazon river. The ride was guided to informe her about the regions challenges and possible solutions to combat environmental crime. Denmark has previously supported the Amazon Foundation, which fight against these environmental crimes and to promote a sustainable development for the rainforest.
Later on, the Queen visited reserve of Adolpho Ducke followed by a visit at MUSA - the Amazon Museum, which is located inside the Adolpho Ducke reserve. She got a close glimpse of the rainforest from the museum's 42 meters high tower.
What we have all been waiting for: Mary has arrived in Brazil where she will be staying next four days. When sailing the Amazon river and later visiting MUSA - the Amazon Museum, she looked great in a practical outfit. She matched a brand new Columbia button-down with Deerhunter trousers and a brown leather belt.
The Arc'Teryx boots were a perfect choice for a visit at the Amazon river - and the surrounding rain forest. Mary has worn the boots quite a few times about now. Also with a certain grace. In the same dark blue color, she added Gucci sunglasses to the outfit.
Her fine diamond earrings are creations by Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen such as the fine ring. In a way, her husband joined her on her travel because of the Halberstadt necklace.

Official welcoming
In the evening, Queen Mary was officially welcomed by the Gouverner of Amazon Wilson Lima.
As part of the welcoming ceremony she was invited to attend a performance at at Teatro Amazonas - a teatre and opera house in the center of Manaus. The performance presented the the cultural history of the Amazon region.
I am nothing less than IMPRESSED! Lost my breath for a moment. Just look at that outfit. Sight! I am in love with every single part of her outfit from the welcoming at Teatro Amazonas. Mary was seen wearing a stunning bright Jesper H酶vring blouse and a chick green maxi skirt. She first wore the skirt on August 21st when hosting a reception on board Dannebrog docked in Assens. I has yet to be found. Any ideas?
She styled the outfit with large golden earrings - a traditional Portuguese jewellery. This is the seventh time she wears them. First time was when attending a dinner on occasion of the Copenhagen Fashion Summit in 2014. A lovely match with the Halberstadt necklace, golden Aquazzura sandals and brand new yellow satin clutch from Prada. I am in LOVE.

Opening of the Parliament 2024

Princess Benedikte accompanied King Frederik and Queen Mary at the annual opening of the Parliament. The three of them were warmly welcomed by Parliament's presidum and of course S酶ren Gade - Chairman of the Parliament.
The annual opening ceremony at Christiansborg Castle in Copenhagen marks the begning of a new year for the Danish politicians and the Parliament. The opening always takes place on the first Tuesday in October.
King Frederik, Queen Mary and Princess Benedikte watched the official opening from the royal balcony in the great Parliament Hall. Amongst speakers was Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen.
Love that both Mary and Benedikte had the same though about wearing soft blue at the opening. Mary was dressed in a lovely reused coat tailored by Cleas Iversen along with a creamy white lace dress. Do you remember she also wore the coat at the opening in 2022? I think it could be an old Heartmade dress but I can't tell for sure.
Mary had chosen beige suede accessories: a beloved BOSS clutch, beautiful (new?) matching gloves and stunning pointed pumps from Gianvito Rossi. Kinda like this color-combo. Blue and beige. Very elegant. Looks like she added a splash of soft purple on her nails. I like that too.
What is an outfit without jewellery? Not much. Mary wore her amazing Halberstadt necklace with an Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen diamond ring. Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen is also the creator of her SMASHING golden leaf brooch. What a masterpiece!

Queen Mary attended the "Psychiatry Summit 2024" as patron of SIND - the association of metal health. She has been patron for SIND since 2004. So for the last twenty years, she has been part of and committed to the significant work SIND is doing for mental health in Denmark.
Chairman of the Psychiatry Network Poul Nyrup Rasmussen (former Danish Prime Minister) and Minister of health Sophie L酶hde accompanied Chairman of SIND Mia Kristina Hansen and deputies of SIND Erik M酶nsted and Bente Helms, when welcoming Queen Mary at her arrival at Imperial in Copenhagen.
The Psychiatry Summit gathered more than 1,000 professional, debaters, etc. to attend and participate presentations and the important debate about mental health issues and the Danish psychiatry sector in general.
Somehow, we do not have had many photos from the summit which surprises me. We usually have many photos from such events, but Mary looked beautiful in her reused green ZARA suit! The color is smashing. One of my favourites. Autumn is my time a year. She styled the stunning suit with a simple white v-neck blouse. Still unidentified.
Mary first wore the suit in 2023 at the "Photo of Loneliness" conference in Odense, but she wore the blazer a year earlier, when attending a meeting with WWF World Wild Fund for Nature in 2022.
At the Psychiatry Summit, she enhanced the beautiful of the suit with golden Dulong Fine Jewelry earrings and her beloved Halberstadt necklace. The Valentino's goes back to 2016 and have been worn on a number of different occasions since then.
