As Danish Crown Princess committed as global advocate for girls and women's sexual and reproductive rights, health and well-being and as patron of the United Nations Population Fund, Mary  attended Amnesty International's congress 2014, this year titled My Boby My Rights, held each year which took place at Hotel Nyborg Strand in Nyborg. She arrived to Nyborg around 11:00 am. local time and was kindly welcomed. She took the time to speak with some of the children before entering the building. Mary had been invited as guest of honor, one more time to show her commitment to girls and women's health and personal rights, the big theme of the day. The Crown Princess gave a very touching speech at the opening of the congress where she told about some of the girls and women she has met in her work with health and personal rights. She emphasized that it is human lives we are talking about. It is important we do something, not just see it as numbers and statistics, but as a person's life. Mary sees it as a human right to decide over her own body, here she refer to today's topic; My Boby My Rights. With a personal story on a female obstetrician from Tchad, who said: "When a woman becomes pregnant in my country, she stands with one foot in the grave" Mary ended her speech. As a symbolic gesture, Mary places a puzzle piece at a large picture of a woman  on the floor.

The calendar now says April and finally we get to see a real spring outfit! What she had chosen to wear just made me so happy looking at. Despite it's not the first time we see her in that lovely white dress, which by the way is from Prada but no longer available anywhere online so I can't show it to you, I have really come to love it. Simplicity wins. Do you even remember it? -First time we saw her wear the dress was in 2010 the same day her twin pregnancy was announced and then she wore it a year later when her oldest son, Prince Christian, received a traditional Greenlandic outfit as a gift from the Greenlandic people. I have been dying to see her in it again and finally it was time. Another successful outfit of hers. She impressed me even more with the raspberry pink cardigan, really I had not seen that coming but it looks f-a-b-u-l-o-u-s! Don't think we have ever seen it before, nor do I know where it is from. Maybe you do? With my eyes sticking to her dress and cardigan I stumble across pictures also showing her shoes. I immediately adore her outfit even more. Her beige patent leather pumps from Miu Miu have I always love so much. The shape, colour and golden detail on the heel are all perfect. They even look comfortable to wear. I wouldn't mind those becoming a part of my shoe collection. She dazzled wearing both earrings and a bracelet from Marianne Dulong, a combo seen at several occasions before this one, such as her golden Shamballa Jewels bracelet. To top of the look, Mary had chosen a brown handmade croco clutch by Carlend Copenhagen. Hairstyle and makeup were just as simple as the rest of her look.

Crown Princess Mary attending the opening of Copenhagen Fashion Summit 2014

Because of the opening of the world famous Copenhagen Fashion Summit 2014, Mary began her day early by attending the official opening the summit which took place in the Opera, Copenhagen, right across the dock of Frederik VIII's Palace where, as you know, Frederik and Mary lives with their four wonderful children and family dog Ziggy. She crossed the water in a small barge and arrived as a true Crown Princess to the marvelous Opera House where she was kindly welcomed by CEO of the Danish Fashion Institute Eva Kruse. The two women have met a several events one of them the day before the opening when Frederik and Mary hosted a dinner for prominent participants taking part in the summit 2014. Like Eva Kruse, attended Economics and the Interior Margrethe Vestager both the dinner at summit the following day. It was with a huge smile on her face she arrived. As guest of honor, Mary entered the stage and gave the opening address. She spoke about the importance of sustainability in the fashion industry and why it's important we are aware of the responsibility we all have. Mary wan't the only one speaking and it was with great interest she listened to the other actors working for and with the sustainable fashion industry. As a Dane, I am honored to have a Crown Princess who advocate sustainability, but it also makes me incredibly happy that a relatively small country like Denmark is world renowned for sustainability. It's great that we are able to attract people from all over the world with our conference. Something I hope we will continue doing. As glad as when she arrived, Mary left the Opera House to attend in Research Day in Aalborg.

Crown Princess Mary attended the Day of Research 2014

Three hours later Mary arrived to Aalborg to attend this years Day of Research 2014 which has been held since 2005 and is a national science festival. The festival each year attracts around 65,000 visitors who learn about science trough lectures, exhibitions and debates, all organized by universities and research institutions. On occasion of Day of Research 2014, which she is patron of, she was about to present Research Communication Award 2014. She was warmly welcomed by the sweetest flower girl handing over a beautiful bouquet of flowers to the Crown Princess. For the second time that day, she entered the stage once again and spoke to open Day of Research 2014. At the same time, Mary announced Anne-Marie Mai from Southern University (Syddansk Universitet) as the as recipient of the Research Communication Award 2014. After all the serious work, open the conference and present today's award, it was time for Mary to have a little fun. Along with an army of  photographers and curious children, she tested among other things her responsiveness. I really think she had a great time trying activities at the conference which was all about science and how to use it.

Because she began her day attending Copenhagen Fashion Summit 2014 on sustainable fashion  in the Opera House she had to be appropriate dressed. And look at that dress! Mary just know how to attract attention with her outfits. She has attended both previous summits, in 2009 and 2012, and was sustainably dressed in 2012 wearing a Hennes & Mauritz floral dress from one of their conscious collections. When representing the world's largest conference on sustainable fashion I would say it's also expected of her to wear sustainable clothes. As two years ago that is exactly what she did; a custom designed blue and white knee-lenght dress created by Designers Remix. Not something we usually see her wear but I was amazed by its minimalistic design! It is made of sustainable materials except from the zipper: "The only thing not sustainable in the outfit is the zips, so we had to use a recycled one." she told The Guardian during the summit. Her and her new dress really caught everybody's attention. Because it's a little unusual I was surprised but fell in love with it instantly! What do you think? -is it a go or no go. I really like to see her in something new and unexpected as this really was. I differently think Mary can wear such as dress. Because it is custom made I can't show you a picture of the model. She matched the blue and white dress with black accessories -a belt, SAND Copenhagen pumps (not L.K. Bennett as I first thought!), a large shawl to keep her warm and of course the always wonderful black croco Carlend Copenhagen clutch. She shone wearing earrings from Hartmann's and two bracelets from Marianne Dulong and Shamballa Jewels. I can't wait to see that dress again!

Copenhagen Fashion Summit 2014 – Dinner

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary hosted a dinner on behalf of Copenhagen Fashion Summit 2014 which took place at Frederik VIII's Palace, Amalienborg, in Copenhagen.

Copenhagen Fashion Summit
With over 1,200 participants Copenhagen Fashion Summit is the largest event on sustainable fashion in the world. The summit is a nonprofit event organized by Danish Fashion Institute on behalf of Nordic Fashion Association. In 2009 and 2012 has Copenhagen Fashion Summit been held in Copenhagen, Denmark. You find more information on the summit here

Twice has Copenhagen hosted the world famous event, in 2009 and 2012 but this year was a little different because on behalf of the summit hosted Frederik and Mary a dinner in their home at Frederik VIII's Palace, Amalienborg, for prominent figures for sustainable fashion also attending Copenhagen Fashion Summit 2014 the following day. With a huge smile on their faces, welcomed the Crown Prince Couple all the special invited guests which took place in a beautifully decorated room with matching walls and curtains such as gilded wall decorations. A room that is a future King and Queen worthy. Two of the most prominent people who attended this special dinner was Economy- and Interior Minister Margaret Vestager (the women in the white lace dress) and of course Eva Kruse, CEO of Danish Fashion Institute planning the summit on behalf of Nordic Fashion Association. I sensed a good atmosphere alongs the four of them. Before the dinner was about to begin, the attendance photographers and journalists got pictures like Agnés Colbert did. I'm so amazed by her pictures, they are just lovely! Luckily I'm in that situation I am allowed to share them with all of you. But please remember, if you would like to share them as well ask for her permission. Thanks. Standing in the middle of three beautiful women, Frederik took the next step and was soon headed to the room where the dinner was about to be held.

I was truly amazed when I saw the first pictures of Mary in her new, incredible dress! So simple and feminine at the same time. To me it is a masterpiece made by one great Danish designer by the name David Andersen. The information on this new white dress, I have from Princessesblog76. I'm already loving it! Just look at the remarkable details at front and the two length skirt. Looks really polish on her. Then I like how she matched it with golden accessories; earrings and a pair of Manolo Blahnik pumps. A lovely way to handle a dinner outfit. I'm pretty sure this outfit inspired you as much as it did to me. The good thing about a white dress like this, is that you can match it with every single colour or print you like. Mary chose to keep it simple with a pair of statement golden earrings found by Else Maria as a pair of traditional piece of jewellery in Portugal, featuring the most stunning filigree. If this isn't a winner, I don't know what would. Else Maria told me in her mail to google brincos rainha, you should try it yourself. You get so many fantastic pictures of beautiful earrings. As you see, my first guess was wrong, sorry about that. As the only jewellery besides the earrings, she wore a black Tahitian pearl bracelet from Marianne Dulong. Somethings simplicity says it all. About her hair, I most say I am a huge huge fan. Looks so perfect, especially with the light natural makeup. Can't say anything than, I'm completely impressed by her look.

Congratulations Queen Margrethe!!!

Today Queen Margrethe celebrated her 74th birthday at Marselisborg castle near Aarhus. The unusual location didn't change that the Queen and her family appeared on the veranda to greet those in attendance such as the press.

Hip hip hooray! Queen Margrethe celebrates her 74th birthday Marselisborg castle along with her two sons and their families. It is a tradition every year on the Queen's birthday the royal family shows on the balcony of Amalienborg Palace in Copenhagen, this year it was a bit more unusual because Margrethe and her husband, Prince Henrik, had chosen to celebrate her birthday at Marselisborg castle near Aarhus. Like every other family who was about the celebrate their granny, arrived Frederik and Mary to the castle in Aarhus along with their four wonderful children -Prince Christian, Princess Isabella, Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine. This little scene captured Agnés Colbert on camera (pic. 1) as well as when they left Marselisborg a few hours later. It was just so lovely to see all of them together, like any other family. Mary had some great moments with Vincent and Isabella. Prince Christian seemed to enjoy time with his grandmother and grandfather, and of course cousins. Prince Joachim and his sweet wife Princess Marie also attended the Queen birthday celebration along with his two sons and their son Prince Henrik, named after his grand papa (as they call Prince Henrik). I do not think Margrethe could have wished for a better birthday than this one with her family, at the castle in Aarhus she love so much.

As always I want to congratulate our lovely Queen on behalf of her birthday. She has been a very beloved woman for many years and I'm sure she will for many more.

To wear brown in April is maybe not what I would have chosen, but as usual Mary totally rocked all shapes of the brown colour at the Queen's birthday. A clever choice and match to her lovely dark brown hair which by the way was fantastic. Light and wavy. What I first noticed was the Strenesse skirt. I never really been a big fan of it, don't know why, but somehow it looked cheap. Not as stylish as we are use to. This time, I adore the skirt. It looks so elegant and chic. The way she matched it with a white silk (?) blouse and a chocolate brown cardigan, well what's not to love about that? Neither the blouse or cardigan have I seen before. Have you? She looks so comfortable in her clothes. When she and Frederik arrived with their four children, she also wore a long coat but I'm not sure which one, nor if it's black or brown. I believe brown is most likely but I can't recall her wearing any brown coat at a previous event. I also spotted her caramel bag from Ralph Lauren when they arrived to Marselisborg castle. Second thing I noticed was, her actually wearing brown sheer tights. Crazy, right? But it just looks amazing next to the light brown skirt and Christian Louboutin pumps.  I feel it's a million years since we have seen those. Think somehow in 2008 or 2009 she wore the pumps with a brown Hugo Boss dress, maybe you remember. To top of this incredible outfit, she was wearing golden Marianne Dulong earrings and a black pearl bracelet from the same designer as well as a Shamballa Jewels bracelet featuring a pink diamond ball. So is her brown outfit a go or a no go? To me it is differently a go

Celebrating 200 Year with Schools in Denmark

On occasion of the Danish schools celebrate 200 years of anniversary, as patron Crown Princess Mary attended a concert organized by Danish Radio followed by a visit at Sønderbro School both in Copenhagen.

Program: Copenhagen
  • 10:00 am. Crown Princess Mary attended the Schools Song Day (Skolernes Sangdag) in DR concert hall in Copenhagen
  • 11:30 am. Crown Princess Mary visited Sønderbro School.

2014 is the year where Denmark celebrate 200 years with schools, a 200th anniversary which of course is worth celebrating. This is a day we celebrate that Danish children have had the right and duty to receive education in 200 years. All over Denmark is the anniversary celebrate by children as well as adults who can attend numbers of activities in their local city and/or one of the more than 40 bigger projects. Throughout the year several exhibitions, school parties and theaters will be a part of the anniversary. As the celebrations patron, did Mary arrived at 10:00 am local time to attend the nationwide The Schools Song Day in Denmark's Radio's concert hall in Copenhagen. The red carpet was rolled out, ready to shine when Mary, Denmark's future Queen, arrived. She was warmly welcomed by hundreds of happy children. Mary simply radiated the concert hall the second she entered the room. Not afraid to show a few dance moves, she danced to the music and singing children. I really think she was amused by watching how happy the children were of all the singing and dancing. I clearly remember my own time in public school; every morning we began the day with a song or two and it was such a lovely way to start a day.

Mary is use to a warm welcome wherever she goes but when she arrived to Sønderbro school in Copenhagen, at 11:30 am local time,  it was way more than the usual. Everybody was screaming to get her attention, taking pictures and just did this arrival remarkable. Like a hour before, she was accompanied by Education Minister Christine Antorini. After the fantastic welcoming ceremony, she visited a classroom and its pupils, followed by a music party in the gym. For about an hour, Mary enjoyed the day with lots of wonderful and sweet children. This was one great way to celebrate such an important anniversary.

Her amazing smile wasn't the only thing that caught my attention when she attended the big celebration in Copenhagen. I am so impressed by this outfit! Have you seen that dazzling Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti (SS09) skirt with that new burgundy blouse?! I lost my breath for a moment. Not the usual way she has worn that skirt, tough we have seen several times before since 2009. Here, here and here. I could talk hours about every little details of this outfits, I'm so amazed by her. Am I the only one who just love her look with the burgundy accessories? I can't get enough of it. Look at her smile, she seems so happy. Mary accessorized her outfit with a pair of leather pumps from Prada and a Rika clutch in the same colour as the rest of it; a dazzling burgundy colour. I am in love with everything from head to toe. When we talk about head, take a look at her fantastic hairdo. I do not know how, but I have to try that myself. So feminine and elegant, also in the every day's. Hairdresser Søren Hedegaard did a damn good job! With her makeup too. Her fair skin and berry lips is a wonderful combo. When she arrived to DR's concert hall in Copenhagen she wore a black Prada coat featuring long sleeves and push buttons. A classic item, always trendy. Mary topped of this incredible outfit with a pair of flower earrings from Jewlscph worn at previous events, two bracelets -one from Shamballa Jewels and one from Marianne Dulong. Both really talented jewellery designers. We saw this bracelet-combination when she attended the opening of The World in the Viking Age in Roskilde the day before. So, I would really like to hear if you are as thrilled as I am. I wouldn't hesitate for a second if someone asked me to wear her outfit, that's for sure!

The World in the Viking Age

April, 10th
Photo @Agnés Colbert
Crown Princess Mary attend the exhibition The world in the viking age (Verden i Vikingetiden) at the Viking Ship Museum in Roskilde.

On the trail of the world in the Viking Age
It's Søren M. Sindbæk, Ph.D., associate professor, Department of Culture and Society at Aarhus University, who lectures on the exciting international research and new archaeological discoveries made in relation to the world the Vikings at the Viking Ship Museum in Roskilde. The Vikings are known for their movements across the sea, both as trade men but also more barbaric who took on raid. This and much more you can experience at the Viking Ship Museum. You find more information here.

When you ask a foreigner to tell something they know about Denmark and Danes, I'm sure most of them would mention the Viking's, how they looted everywhere they came. They are known as barbaric, even in Denmark that's how they are referred to. Something we might forget is the fact that the Viking's also were great trade men who sailed across the ocean. At this time in history, the Viking's are known for their incredible sailing abilities in new long boats with space for many men. Archaeologists have already studied the Viking's for centuries but for every year we seems to get even more knowledgeable on the world in the Viking age. With focus on boats, trade routes etc. the Viking Ship Museum in Roskilde exhibits a special exhibition and who to invite as guest of honor? Of course Crown Princess Mary. She arrived to Roskilde to attended the opening of the Viking Ship Museums new exhibition. She was given flowers at the arrival and was warmly welcomed by employees working at the museum. Surrounded by hundreds years old Viking ships, Mary entered the stage and gave her speech. Music was prepared as entertainment followed by a guided tour for the Crown Princess who with great interest listened to what she was told about the ship museums, the ships, some history about the Viking's and the world in the Viking age. I never had the chance to visit the museum yet but I would really like to. It's kinda of a bubble of history, where you get close to Denmark's history as well as history of the world.

When Mary arrived to Roskilde the weather wasn't really that good, despite that she looked incredible stylish in her dark coat and matching accessories. She wasn't that much of a Viking looking like this! A-line coats as this one should be in every women's wardrobe because it is a fantastic and rather simple way to look stunning. Luckily there are millions of designs to choose the one you like. Mary often wears clothes as well as coats we probably wouldn't choose. Because of that I believe she has become a timeless icon. At the opening she wore one of her old goodies, a blue and brown Prada coat featuring lots of interesting details. Matching both rest of the outfit and the poster from the exhibition, she wore these dazzling patent leather pumps from designer Rupert Sanderson. At first I thought L.K. Bennett was the designer but with pictures from the opening of this new exhibition I realized they had not much in comment. The reason was quite simple, because it was the wrong designer. I adore the shape and colour of these pumps! Not to forget the stunning, and really expensive, Quidam clutch identified by my dear friend Pernille. She told me that she stumbled across the clutch in a magazine and immediately knew it was the one we all were searching for. Thanks to her we now know who created this little wonder! From four different, Danish, jewellery designers Mary accessorized her outfit with four different pieces of jewellery: Jewlscph earrings which is new by the way, two bracelets from Shamballa Jewels and Marianne Dulong and diamond rings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. Specking of which I think her new earrings are really beautiful but maybe a little too much for this outfit. What do you think?

Find Your Way Day / Find Vej Dag 2014

April, 5th

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary participated in the arrangement Find Your Way Day in Rude skov along with Prince Christian and Princess Isabella.

Find Your Way Day / Find Vej Dag 2014
At seven different distances, you can alone or in groups take on orienteering at various locations across the country. This day is called 'Denmark's funniest exercise day'. The event is for everyone , young and old, all who loves a day in nature. You find more information here

Jv.dk
Sn.dk

Who doesn't just love to spend a day outside with your family? Find Your Way Day is the perfect arrangement to have that day with your family and that is exactly what Frederik and Mary did. They participated the event with two of their children, Prince Christian and Princess Isabella, in Rude skov as participants 43 other places in Denmark. The royal family arrived shortly before 1:00 pm. local time, at the time the run was about to start. This year the arrangement is organized in collaboration by Danish Orienteering Federation and the Nordea Foundation. The children seemed full of energy, ready to run and find all the hidden clues. Like any other boy at his age, Christian ran ahead of the rest of his family closely followed by his little sister. Actually it's the first time Mary attend but both in 2012 and 2013 participated Frederik. At his first year, Christian and little Isabella participated along with their father. I think it was amazing to see the family all together. They all seemed to enjoy their day with Find Your Way.

Because we know running is one of Mar favourite sports activists, I think it was brilliant to see her in a relaxed running outfits. To be able to move effortless the four royal family members were all dressed in sports clothes from several different brands. With the children in the center, Frederik and Mary stayed in the background through the orientation course. As many times before, when the children are around, they get the press' attention. Which is understandable, we do not see them in public that often. This means, not so many good pictures have been published of Mary, making it difficult for me to identify exactly what she's wearing throughout the run. Despite the difficulties, I was actually able to find a photo, enlarge the logo and ID her blue soft shell jacket as Fusion. This is the first time I've every heard about that brand, maybe you do. Many of the models I've found are for men. The one I have linked to is not exactly the same as Mary's but close to despite a few details -front pockets and location of logo which is found on the right side pocket. The logo of her trousers shows Nike but not much to go for when to find them online. The best of luck to you who try. As always you are more than welcome contacting me with your findings. Then she wore, trendy pink sneakers. With her hair in a simple ponytail and a natural makeup, I'm sure Mary enjoyed a day in the woods along with her husband and two wonderful children. I differently wouldn't mind looking like this while running!

Attending the opening of KFUM's Soldiers Recreation

April, 4th

Crown Princess Mary attended the opening of KFUM's SoldiersRecreation (KFUMs SoldaterRekreation) in Høvelte as patron of KFUM's Soldiers Mission (KFUMs Soldatermission)

KFUM's Soldiers Mission & KFUM's SoldiersRecreation
KFUM soldiers mission began all the way back in 1889 in Copenhagen where the first solders home were established. Because of the effect from world war I and world war II, like the cold war in the period after 1943, the means to help soldiers are needed more than every before. The KFUM soldiers home's are where they are needed, when they are needed. Crown Princess Mary has been patron of KFUM's Soldiers Mission since 2012. If you are interested in reading more about their story, you find it here

Sn.dk

Mary has chosen her patronages carefully. Most of them, is about making a difference for people. Help them whether it's with a mental illness or to recover from a life after having been stationed abroad as soldier. And that is exactly what she was doing yesterday because Mary is patron of KFUM's Soldiers Mission which has a quite long history that goes back to 1889. Right since the Soldiers Mission has helped Danish soldiers both before and after a mission. We all know that such missions, may cause permanent damage, physically and/or mentally, which is also going to affect the relatives. Mary attended to officially open 9 new KFUM SoldiersRecreation homes in Høvelte. In a great mood she arrived, at 4:00 pm. local time, to Høvelte and was warmly welcomed by among others the sweetest flower boy who handed over a bouquet. I'm sure both Frederik and Mary have closely followed the process of these nine new recreation home because with their fund, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary's fund, they have economically supported the project. Along with the city's mayor and Danish Defense Minister Nicolai Wammen, Mary was given a guided tour around the premises to see for herself what her and her husband have been supporting. She seemed very impressed of what she saw. During the opening of the new recreation homes, a new artwork created by Lina Mural Jardorf was revealed of course by Mary as the guest of honor.

Despite the calendar says April, it is still quite windy and cold in Denmark. This time a year we usually see her in bare legs but because of the weather she chose to wear black tights. Very understandable. To keep warm she was dressed in a matching dress and coat from Prada, in the same wonderful fabric featuring some lovely details. Even though we have seen both dress and coat several times before, I love to get to see her wear it again. Matching suits gets my heart beating. The shape is pretty classic and the fabric 60s like. She wore it the first time at the opening of the parliament in 2010 when she was expecting the twins, a year later at a Egnum conference in 2011 and then in 2012 when she attended the opening of the project Verdens Flygtninge. Differently something I hope to see again one day. Beautifully she wore a pair of new, stunning, pointed pumps found at Lanvin. They feature a bow at each shoe which is really lovely. In the same navy blue colour she accessorized her look with a Quidam clutch. Besides that, we only saw a few jewelleries -earrings from Hartmann's and a Shamballa Jewels bracelet with the pink diamond ball as pendant. As the queen of classy outfits, I think this is one of the most stylish outfits we have seen for quite a while.

Along with the Mary Foundation and Save the Children (Red Barnet) is Crown Princess Mary on a two days visit to Estonia because of their commitment to the foundations Free of Bullying project as the first country abroad Denmark.

Program: Estonia
  • 10:00 am. Crown Princess Mary attended a Free of Bullying conference.
  • 11:00 am. Crown Princess Mary attended the seminar about sustainable fashion.
  • 12:00 pm. She had lunch at the Danish Embassy in Estonia.
  • 2:00 pm. Crown Princess Mary visited the school Kadrioru Saksa Gümnaasium.
  • 3:00 pm. Crown Princess Mary visited the Estonian Children's Literature Centre.
  • 4:00 pm. Crown Princess Mary attended a concert followed by a reception at the Blackheads House.

It was such a great first day in Estonia yesterday. Mary seemed so happy and relaxed. The exact same Mary we was on her second, and last, day during her visit which was all about the Mary Foundation's Free of Bullying program which is now in Estonia as well. Half of her day was used to attending a Free of Bullying conference, visiting a school and a literature centre.

Early in the morning she arrived to attend a conference about one of her own programs that has just moved to Estonia. I really believe it was a proud woman who attended this conference because she has managed to create a foundation with solid values which can also be used abroad to make life better for more children, not only in Denmark. The Free of Bullying program is created to prevent bullying in age of kindergarten and pre school. An hour later she attended a seminar about sustainable fashion followed by a lunch at the Danish embassy in Estonia.

The next three hours she visited both the school Kadrioru Saksa Gümnaasium, the Estonian Children's Literature Centre and a concert such as an reception at the Blackheads House. It was such a pleasure receiving photos from Agnés Colbert who went to Estonia to follow Mary on her two days visit. Such lovely pictures of Mary along with the children at  Kadrioru Saksa Gümnaasium school and Children's Literature Centre. She showed a sincere interest in talking to the children. They showed her their drawing and what they had been working on till the day she came to visit.

At 4 PM she attended a concert followed by a reception which was the last events before returning home to Denmark after two great days in Estonia, what I know of was her first time there. I hope we get many more of these visits in the future.

I am not sure what you think about this new burgundy suit, but I love it! This dark red colour is one of my personal favourites and it suits Mary perfectly with her dark brown hair. I have been looking everywhere to identify the designers and finally I was able to find what I was looking for. The Danish designer Elise Gug (AW13) created her new jacket and matching pencil skirt. Just lovely! A great detail is the snakeskin belt from Balenciaga. She wore on the outside of the jacket to create the illusion of her natural waistline. Something we see often with these think belts. It's typical for Mary choosing accessories with a twist, like this one.

To match the belt she was wearing her mid snake skin pumps from Christian Louboutin. Great to see those pumps again. The link you find down below, shows almost the same model as hers. The only difference is the hight of the heel and the fact that Mary's is not made of python. In the most amazing dark black colour, she wore pearl earrings and a bracelet from Marianne Dulong. Stunning pieces, beautifully made. As beautifully does Mary wear them with pride and dignity.

The other golden bracelet you see on her wrist is her Shamballa Jewels bracelet featuring a pink diamond ball used from an old bracelet of hers. Not sure what it costs but I'm pretty sure it's way too expensive to most of us. As the suit, was the dazzling Adax bag she carried in burgundy. It has been seen a couple of times before. Her grey cashmere scarf has been identified as Carlend Copenhagen who also makes these incredible scarfs. One last thing I think you should notice, is her smashing eye makeup. Really beautiful! A wonderful way to end a visit in Estonia. One more time I want to thanks Agnés for getting the chance to share her lovely photos!

Crown Princess Mary during her day in Estonia attending two openings and a reception

Since 2007, had Mary along with the Mary Foundation, worked with the mission that everybody belongs. This has led to numerous projects among other Backpacks, Advise for Life, ReadingGames and of course Free of Bullying with bullying as an serious issue among children. This has been one important project for Mary and her foundation since the beginning because often bullying causes social isolations which which has one of the highest priorities. Social isolation is a taboo and is a difficult subject for the children to talk about. Working with great success in Denmark, Mary is know on behalf of the Mary Foundation, on a visit to Estonia accompanied by CEO Helle Østergaard because Estonia is now the first country, besides Denmark, to use Free of Bullying as a tool i several of the countries kindergartens. After a flight from Denmark to Estonia, her first stop was at the kindergarten Suitsupääsupesa lasteaed. Here she was kindly welcomed by employees and of course lots of children who all wanted a glimpse and a handshake of Mary. It's not every day they get the chance to meet at Crown Princess, especially not from Denmark. With her visit to the kindergarten, she saw for herself how her own project is working also abroad the borders of Denmark. The kids sang and played games. Her visit at the kindergarten was an hour later followed by a visit to the Danish Royal Garden, which in 2013, was renovated by the city Tallinn economically supported by A.P. Møller and his wife's fond and Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik's fond. According to legend, it is said to be where Denmark's national flag fell from the sky in the 1219th. A historical place for a Danish Crown Princess. Mary and mayor Edgar Savisaar gave a speech, after Mary had visited the City Hall to write in the guestbook.

By looking at her clothes, I assume that Estonia at this time a year is not the warmest place on earth to be right now. She showed us one great look, a new grey suit in a lovely fabric featuring some really nice details and a pair of stunning knee-length Prada boots! Can't wait to wear a suit like this with my black boots. These are worn a couple of times before. Personally I am a huge fan of suits and is thrilled when we get to see Mary wear one. At the same time she looks classy, everyday chic and sophisticated. For a while now, I have been looking everywhere trying to find out where her suit could be from. With a little help it's a pleasure telling that her suits is from Prada, no surprise. Has to be the designer she wear most often. I really adore her look, every detail is just absolutely perfect. With this outfit I can't wait to see what she will wear next! Mary chose a black turtleneck, leather gloves and tights which is a lovely match. Keeping it simple, the only real accessory she was wearing is a pair of Hartmann's earrings featuring small pink diamonds and two out of three diamond rings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. And of course, no complete outfit without a little makeup which was so natural and delicate just like her hair. Oh... I almost forgot to mention the black Carlend Copenhagen clutch. A true wonder.

Crown Princess Mary attended a meeting with President Toomas Hendrik Ilves
Photo @Agnés Colbert
After a long day visiting both kindergartens, a historical place for Denmark and a short reception at the city hall, her last job on her first day was to attend a meeting with Estonia's President Toomas Hendrik Ilves who you see standing next to Mary on the photo above. The other woman is the Presidents wife Evelin Ilves. Around dinner time did Mary arrive to meet with the President and his wife. With a beautiful smile and shiny eyes, she met both the press and the Estonian Presidential couple. Because it was around dinner time, I guess they also had some dinner before or after their meeting. Mary wrote her signature in a guestbook sitting at a beautiful, old, brown table decorated with both the Estonian and Danish flag. And with that signature her first day in Estonia ended. I really can't wait till tomorrow to follow her one more day before leaving for Denmark again.

Meeting with the Estonian Presidential couple, of course requires a brand new black and white dress! The new Prada dress features cap sleeves and a really fabulous cut under her bust. I would love to wear it as beautifully as she does. Knee-length suits her well and makes her appropriate meeting the President. Actually it's quite a simple outfit: a two tone dress and lots of stunning jewellery. The large flower (?) brooch is seen before on a plain white dress, this I have no idea where is or could be from. My only guess would be a gift maybe from her mother-in-law but because I have never seen the Queen wear anything similar, I doubt my own theory. Like the Presidents wife, Mary wore a pair of wonderful white pearl earrings from Marianne Dulong and not to forget a huge pearl ring from the same designer. These have also been seen uncountable times before. White pearl is always a classics. There are also another couple of golden bracelets from Dulong, two I do not know about and one from Shamballa Jewels. Seems to be one of her favourite bracelet right now. Let's admit it, that bracelet is (almost) worth dying for! When she arrived, she was wearing a white coat very likely from Prada as well. Like earlier it was the black croco clutch from Carlend Copenhagen Mary chose to wear in the evening. To top off her outfit, Mary wore a pair of incredible pumps from Rupert Sanderson. I'm not quite sure if we have seen them before, but they are just lovely! Especially the v-shaped toe. As the classic style she has, she spiced up the look with a marvelous dusty red lipgloss and some dramatic eyes!
