Official visit in New York and North Carolina
23 October 2023
Crown Princess Mary will spend three days abroad. More specifically, she will be visiting New York and here participate in the celebrating on the UN-day and a number of events to promote the Danish commitment in UN Security Council.
She arrived Monday and in the evening, the Crown Princess attended the reception "The Coalition on Addressing Sea-level rise & Existential Threats". The reception took place at the Danish UN-Mission in New York.
The Crown Princess gave the opening speech (here). She enhanced the importance of discussing the constant climate changes and why we need to find specific solutions on how to handle these changes.
When attending the reception at UN-Mission in New York Monday evening, Mary looked absolutely stunning wearing a brand new ba&sh floral printed dress. I really adore the square neckline. It emphasizes her face beautifully. She matched it with a recused black Harris Wharf London blazer. Not one of my favorite blazers worn with dresses because of the length. Nevertheless, Mary wore it with such elegance.
She embraced the style with old (!) custom-made earrings from Dulong Fine Jewelry. A pair of earrings that has followed her for years. The Halberstadt and Julie Sandlau necklaces seems to have become her most beloved pieces of jewellery right now.
Rebekka Notkin is the designer of her solid golden bracelet and Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen created two of her diamond rings.
Look closely and you will see that Mary also styled the outfit with a reused Carlend Copenhagen clutch and Gianvito Rossi sling-back pumps.
