Exclusive birthday interview with the Financial Times

02 February

Celebrating ones 50th birthday and being Crown Princess of Denmark makes the world curious. Crown Princess Mary has given quite a few interviews to several Danish medias, but she was also interviewed by the international Financial Times (here).

With the interview comes brand new photos as well. They were taken by photographer Hasse Nielsen. He is also the master behind many of the other new photos revealed on occasion of her birthday. He is indeed at very talented man.

The new photos also included brand new (outstanding!!) outfits. Look at that purple velvet suit from Temperley London. That is by definition one of my all-time favourite outfits. She looks like the most cool business women. Love how she matched it with a simple white blouse and those inherited ruby jewellery. We get a glimpse of her shoes as well. They are black suede studded Gianvito Rossi pumps.

Heaven managed to identify her impressive new rose golden gown. I do not think we have ever seen Mary in a dress like this. Somehow, it is very unusual to see her in such a design. The dress is from Jenny Peckham - one of Duchess Catherine's most beloved designers. She embraced the style with her golden Cartier bangle. I think the pink and white diamond earrings could be inherited or perhaps purchased on auction. The nude pointed pumps are her reused Prada shoes.

Her third outfit is way more a mystery to me than the first two. It could be the same outfit as the one she wore in her interview with Billed Bladet. The blouse looks new. A wonderful way of wearing a monochrome outfit. White is such a majestic colour. Cartier is the creator of her golden bracelet and the nude pumps are from Gianvito Rossi.
