Hubertus Hunt in Dyrehaven 2024

03 November 2024

Princess Josephine accompanied her mother at the annual Hubertus Hunt in Dyrehaven north of Copenhagen. They watched the hunt and associated obstacle course from the balcony of the Eremitage castle.

The Hubertus Hunt goes back to the year of 1900. Back in the days, the riders hunted down a fox with help from their dogs. Today, the fox is simply a rider with a foxtail.

Queen Mary also handed over the "Queen Mary's Honorary Award" to rider Niels Goldschmidt and his horse Irish Diamond. She also presented the medals to the first, second and third place of the Hubertus Hunt's pony riders. In order: Malou Kiran Grenal, Maise Broge Nielsen and Tilde Plaep.

I love this time a year! Mainly because of what we wear. Long coats, woolen sweaters, boots, scarves, etc. That's why I always look forward to her attending the Hubertus Hunt. Because of her outfit. This year, Mary had chosen a pair of smashing green velvet trousers, a creamy white turtleneck, a reused Seeland down-vest and a stunning long Strenesse coat.

The trousers have yet to be found. She first wore them at the same event in 2018 and then again in 2019, when visiting Roskilde. Really want green velvet trousers myself. I adore velvet! Mary has also worn the Strenesse coat before at a similar event in Gribskov in 2019.

Mary matched the clothes with stunning brown heeled leather boots, a reused Prada bag and a wide-brimmed felt hat - embellished with a Ragnar R. Jørgensen brooch. Her delicate diamond ring is from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. She later changed to a bright knitted beanie.

Queen Mary attended the inauguration of the south part of 'Jægersborg Fence' in Nærum. This part of the forest is untouched and grow wild.

At the inauguration, the Queen gave a little speech and by that revealed a new logo of King Frederik X "guarding" the gate to the southern part of Jægersborg. She also released a couple of deers as a symbol of the inauguration.

The Cancer Society's Honorary Award 2019

04 February

On occasion of World Cancer Day, the Crown Princess atteneded the presentation of the Cancer Society's Honorary Award 2019. The award was handed over at Skuespilhuset in Copenhagen. The Cancer Society's Honorary Award is given to a person, group, department or someone who has made a special effort in the field of cancer.

Crown Princess Mary arrived as guest of honor to Skuespilhuset. She was in a great mood. One big smile. She was warmly welcomed with flowers, smilies and handshakes. Shortly after the arrival she entered the stage and presented the winners. This years winners are the supermarket chains Aldi, COOP, Lidl, REMA 1000, Salling Group and Magasin. The reason for them to win are because they are at the forefront of efforts to prevent children and young people from starting to smoke. Congratulations to all of them.

Attending the award show, Mary was dressed in a chic black suit. All new. The blazer reminded me of a few designers that turned out to be completely wrong. Royals & Fashion managed to identify Mary's brand new black suit at Paul Smith. What was your first thought when you saw her in that black suit? Very classy I think.

Mary embraced the style by wearing a pair of reused Gianvito Rossi pumps. These black suede pumps features studs. Wish we could see them better. It took quite a few pictures for me to determine if her black clutch box really is from Louis Vuitton as I first thought. Finally I found what I was looking for and it confirmed that Mary was in fact wearing her Louis Vuitton clutch.

A closer look also showed that she wore winter frost earrings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen and diamond rings from the same designer. For years I have been in love with the beauty of Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen's winter frost collection. It just gets better and better. The golden bracelet on her right wrist is made by Dulong Fine Jewelry. For sure you noticed the medalion necklace. That is the piece made by Ragnar R. Jørgensen given to her by her husband, here. The medalion got the couples official logo (in red) on the back side. Don't think we have ever seen her wear it with the red side visible. Maybe one day.

Lately, the Crown Prince couple have hosted quite a few dinners located at Frederik VIII's Palace in Copenhagen. It is the residence of the couple and all four children. This time it was dinner for the Advisory Board of 'Global Green Growth Forum' also called '3GF'. All attending the dinner were specially invited by the Crown Prince couple, who both seemed sincere to welcome all of them before the dinner. The guests were welcomed in the marvelous room with baby blue walls (matching the curtains), gilded doors, huge wall mirrors and not to forget the overwhelmingly beautiful chandelier hanging from the ceiling. I could probably talk for an hour or more about the incredible decor, but I won't. Seems like every one of them enjoyed the evening right from first handshake. More than 250 private- and public senior managers had meet in Copenhagen on June 6th and 7th to collaborate on green solutions. The dinner at Frederik VIII's Palace was the ending of a successful conference.

Just a few days ago, Mary was dressed professionally in her camouflage uniform while participating the Home Guard Land Exercise 2016 taking place in Fredericia. This all changed, when she was standing next to her husband to welcomed guests taking part in the dinner at Frederik VIII's Palace. Mary amazed her guests by wearing an old purple Prada dress featuring a v-neck and a length to die for. The silhouette makes her look absolutely gorgeous. Despite it is a dress from around 2008, here, this is only the third time we get to see her wear it. Quite a shame, right? It was in 2013 when we last saw Mary wearing this incredible dress. It was when she attended the INDEX Award 2013, here. Personally I really adore everything about her outfit. For years I have tried to find pictures of the dress and finally I did with a little help. Unfortunately, it is no longer available online. Get in touch with me if you need pictures. I think the wavy hairstyle makes a great and perfect match with the dress. She was a gloving star welcoming her guests. She embraced the style by wearing a very interesting necklace. This unique piece was created by Ragnar R. Jørgensen, ordered by the Crown Prince himself as gift to his wife on her 40th birthday in 2012. For three years we have had to wait to see this gorgeous medallion. Mary wore it last year, when she attended the University Startup World Cup, here. Embracing the style, she also wore diamond studs from Hartmann's and glitter pumps from Gianvito Rossi (collection: AW12). Would really like to hear your thoughts about her outfit from the dinner. I think she looks beautiful.

After several intensive days for the teams at the University Startup World Cup in Copenhagen, time has finally come for a winner team to be found. Crown Princess Mary was invited to present the winner at this special event which took place in the House of Industry. The University Startup World Cup is arranged by the non-profit organization Venture Cup who have dedicated their work to help university students with their projects and ideas. Over 40 teams from more than 24 countries were gathered at the event to share knowledge and the opportunity to build a very unique network of contacts. Shortly after she arrived it was time to give her speech, where she praised all the fantastic and talented students and then the presentation of the winner team. She pointed out how important it is to take young people's ideas seriously, since many of them can be pioneers in their field. The silence was immediately gone when the winner had been found after the Crown Princess calmly read the name -VesaliusMed LLC. The team from Stanford University in USA have my greatest wished and congratulations. The four judges to find the winner team were Stine Bosse, Johan Bülow, Søren Ejlersen and Nicolas Michaelsen. All four judges are important business people in Denmark and abroad. It is a part of the job as the Crown Princess of Denmark to present and hand over prizes such as all kind of awards but I think she enjoy these days.

It does simply not get any more classy and stylish than a with a white suit. This business-looking Crown Princess I really like. She has the perfect shape to wear a suit and the white colour for woman is the same to me as the black for men. Very edgy. The suit features details I kinda like -the press button makes it look sharp and the white satin hemline at front gives the blazer something to look at. With these details, it is not just a plain white suit. Many of you may think: "hey this is a new suit" well, actually it's not. Back in 2012, she wore the same at a annual meeting with the Mary Foundation, here. At that time we only had a glimpse of the suit, but I'm so sure it is the same. To this white outfits she chose brand new Gianvito Rossi (FW14-15). In my imagination I would never have guessed that Mary would ever wear a pair of pumps like these. She keeps surprising me, over and over again.. Black as the pumps, is the Carlend Copenhagen clutch. The most exciting about the outfit are the two necklaces. Of course we know all about the Orit Elhanati necklace in gold, but the other one... a large medallion we have never seen before and is only mentioned last year in occasion of Frederik and Mary's 10th anniversary, here. On their 10th anniversary they were on a official visit to Poland where they also were celebrated with greetings and a cake. That day Mary wore a very special, not to forget new, bracelet apparently given to her by Frederik as a anniversary gift. The bracelet consists of small medal shaped part of enamel which four of them showing the couple's children and their monogram in the middle. Two years before, in 2012, Mary celebrated her 40-years birthday on February 5th. On this occasion Frederik ordered a special gift, a unique medallion, created by the same goldsmith Ragnar R. Jørgensen. We have never seen this medallion, till now. This medallion she wore at the presentation a few days ago. On the front it features red enamel with the couple monogram in gold and the back is a argyle pattern in black enamel and diamonds. I really want to thanks Kate because she told me all about this necklace. I enjoyed sharing it with you. Now, I just hope I will be able to find a better picture of her wearing it to get a better look.

From early morning the royal couple were celebrated on occasion of their 10th anniversary.Ten years, that is just unbelievably. Have the feeling that they got married yesterday. I know I've already congratulated them, here, but really it's not every day our favourite couple celebrate their 10th anniversary so; congratulations! In the morning they enjoyed breakfast together at City Hall in Stettin, Poland. As gift they received a beautiful cake. Together they cut a piece of the cake as on the wedding day. Smiling and laughing, the couple seemed to enjoy every single moment. And of course it was not the only time that day they were celebrated and congratulated. After the reception at the City Hall Mary visited KK Electronics and then a children's hospital where she was welcomed by the most incredible little girl, patent at the hospital, who gave Mary a single flower which she received with great pleasure. Mary had already had a beautiful bouquet of flowers at the arrival. Completely fallen in love with the little girl, Mary chose to hand over her white bouquet to her. The most wonderful series of photos. All meanwhile Frederik attended a conference on wind power and a seminar Waste Management, responsive to everything he heard and learned during the seminar. I'm sure there was no better way to end this official visit then by celebrating Frederik and Mary!

In my opinion Mary always dresses perfectly but at special days like these, I think everybody pays extra attention to what she's wearing. She different knows how to dress for special occasions. Radiating in her lovely L.K. Bennett peplum featuring a blue optic flower print. I'm surprised by her choice but I love what I see! She paired the top with a simple black pencil skirt, a tiny belt and of course new purple pumps. Yes, that's right purple pumps. With what I see, hear and read these new pumps may be from Jimmy Choo. Because non of us have found the right model yet, we can't be a 100 % sure but when I compare the two of them, there is no doubt in my mind. Jimmy Choo has to be the designer. Maybe with the help from you girls, we'll be able to find what we all are looking for.  Arriving to the City Hall she wore a plain white Prada coat. Having never thought that blue and purple is such a great match, what do you think? -something you'd every consider wearing? She accessorized her outfit with lots of dazzling jewelleries; matching earrings and a ring from Pomellato, another bracelet from Shamballa Jewels and yet another very interesting bracelet given to her by her husband probably because of their anniversary. The bracelet features four "shadows" for each of their four children, centered by a pendant with their initials -F M. This wonder was made by Ragnar R. Jørgensen, here. No doubt that Frederik loves and adore his wife. So lovely! Last but not least she wore a blue Quidam clutch. Also notice her beautiful curly hair; it's simply wonderful.

This is all from Poland. Soon the couple will be back in Denmark.
