The Reumert Award show is something I really look forward to every single year. I have watched the show now for quite many years and I truly enjoy it. I would so much like to watch more live performances, plays in the theatre etc. but unfortunately am I far away from this cultural world. So for me to follow singers, actors and artists this one evening a year is just great. You get a perfect sense of what is going on, on stages across the country whatever you like classical music or innovative children's theatre. Prominent guests were all invited to watch the show, which was broadcasted live on Sunday evening, taken place in the Opera House in Copenhagen - right across where the Crown Prince Couple lives. This is only important to know because another prominent woman, who attended the show, was the Crown Princess herself. She arrived in a really great mood as the last person right before the show was about to begin. Along with all the perfect dressed guests the Crown Princess enjoyed the evening, honoring some of Denmark's most talented artists. This year 22 statuettes (designed by artist John Kørner) were handed over. It was actor Rasmus Btoft, actress Bodil Jørgensen and Danish comedian Nikolaj Stockholm, who made sure both audience and TV viewers had a great evening. Usually, we get a glimpse or two of her during the show, but not this time. She was also on her own and not accompanied by her husband, who usually attends with her.

Despite it is the performing arts show of the year, we only have seen very few pictures of Mary. Sadly, but I will not hide how surprised and maybe also shocked I am of what she wore on Sunday in the Opera House. She was more appropriately dressed than many others. Kate managed to find it at Prada. A designer I have had in mind all along. The color-combo is very special. I do not that if that is in a good or bad way. Or maybe it's the embellishment on her upper body that bothers me? One good thing about this new dress, is the length. I can't imagine how it would have looked if it was a floor length dress. Am I the only who think this dress is not the most beautiful creation she has worn lately?

As much as she did not convince me with her choice of dress, I'm totally in love with her accessories. Drop-shaped Dulong Fine Jewelry earrings, a matching diamond bracelet and her golden leather pumps from Manolo Blahnik. Perfect for an evening like this. Such as with the snake skin clutch from Judith Leiber. Looks good on her, when she walked down the red carpet arriving to the Opera House. I'm also very much adore her hairstyle. Curly hair is always a favourite of mine. Quite simple and at the same time so elegant. Over all, she looks really pretty. I can't wait to hear what you have to say about this outfit. Is the dress the most beautiful you have ever seen or...?

The Heartland Festival 2016

Saturday, June 11th

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary attended the Heartland Festival, hereat Egeskov castle at Funen.

After a few busy weeks for both the Crown Prince and Crown Princess, my guess is tha the couple needed a little time on their on, enjoying each others company. This could be why the royal couple attended the Heartland Festical taking place in the castle park at Egeskov castle at the island of Funen. The castle is owned by Count Michael Ahlefeldt and Countess Caroline Ahlefeldt. Good friend of the royal couple. The Count and Countess have multiple times attended events with the royal family, as the Crown Prince couple has attended numerous of their celebrations - like they did this weekend. According to Fyens, here, the couple arrived around 5:00 pm. in their silver-grey car followed by a motorcade of three other cars. Introduced to some of the festivals events, the couple really seemed to enjoy everything. Among others, they joined a debate between Bjarke Ingels (Danish architect) and Brian Eno (British composer, producer and musician).

I find her boho-casual style very interesting. Not something we usually see her wear. Though, lately Mary has been wearing these more causal and relaxed outfits. Maybe she's trying out a new side of her style? So far, I like it. Think these comfortable outfits are very inspirational - don't you think? Easy to copy if you'd like to. At the festival, Mary was dressed in a pair of black trousers and a reused white peplum blouse from Rabens Saloner featuring lovely lace details. Then she wore a brand new jacquard jacket in the most incredible colours. I found it at a designer I don't believe Mary has ever worn before - it is from IRO. Her sister-in-law Princess Marie has been seen in their designs on several occasions. But it is the first time for Mary. She matched the rest of the outfit with a pair of black and white sneakers. Worn before, but never identified delisted multiple attempts. Though, with help from you I have been able to track down, where her sneakers are from. They are from By Malene Birger. Mary looked lovely embracing the style with a cross-body bag from Chloé, a golden Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen ring and Hartmann's earrings.

Lately, the Crown Prince couple have hosted quite a few dinners located at Frederik VIII's Palace in Copenhagen. It is the residence of the couple and all four children. This time it was dinner for the Advisory Board of 'Global Green Growth Forum' also called '3GF'. All attending the dinner were specially invited by the Crown Prince couple, who both seemed sincere to welcome all of them before the dinner. The guests were welcomed in the marvelous room with baby blue walls (matching the curtains), gilded doors, huge wall mirrors and not to forget the overwhelmingly beautiful chandelier hanging from the ceiling. I could probably talk for an hour or more about the incredible decor, but I won't. Seems like every one of them enjoyed the evening right from first handshake. More than 250 private- and public senior managers had meet in Copenhagen on June 6th and 7th to collaborate on green solutions. The dinner at Frederik VIII's Palace was the ending of a successful conference.

Just a few days ago, Mary was dressed professionally in her camouflage uniform while participating the Home Guard Land Exercise 2016 taking place in Fredericia. This all changed, when she was standing next to her husband to welcomed guests taking part in the dinner at Frederik VIII's Palace. Mary amazed her guests by wearing an old purple Prada dress featuring a v-neck and a length to die for. The silhouette makes her look absolutely gorgeous. Despite it is a dress from around 2008, here, this is only the third time we get to see her wear it. Quite a shame, right? It was in 2013 when we last saw Mary wearing this incredible dress. It was when she attended the INDEX Award 2013, here. Personally I really adore everything about her outfit. For years I have tried to find pictures of the dress and finally I did with a little help. Unfortunately, it is no longer available online. Get in touch with me if you need pictures. I think the wavy hairstyle makes a great and perfect match with the dress. She was a gloving star welcoming her guests. She embraced the style by wearing a very interesting necklace. This unique piece was created by Ragnar R. Jørgensen, ordered by the Crown Prince himself as gift to his wife on her 40th birthday in 2012. For three years we have had to wait to see this gorgeous medallion. Mary wore it last year, when she attended the University Startup World Cup, here. Embracing the style, she also wore diamond studs from Hartmann's and glitter pumps from Gianvito Rossi (collection: AW12). Would really like to hear your thoughts about her outfit from the dinner. I think she looks beautiful.

June 4th: Crown Princess Mary attending the Home Guard Land Exercise 2016

These days I try to spend as much time as possible outdoors. The weather is amazing in Denmark right now. As much as I tend to enjoy the weather, the Crown Princess seems to enjoy her time in Frederica. She attended the land exercise with approximately 5,400 other voluntary members of the Home Guard. Proper dressed for the exercise, she participated in various training activities with different unions both the Army Home Guard, the Business Home Guard, the Air Force Home Guard and the Marine Home Guard. During a warm day in Fredericia the Crown Princess was introduced to new technology that will help the Home Guard in the future to improve their work in the field across Denmark. All of it clearly impressed the Crown Princess, who knows all about what it takes to be a Home Guard member because since 2008 she has been ordinary member and about a year ago she was promoted lieutenant. She's not just beautiful; she's also clever and hardworking. Meanwhile the Crown Princess stayed in Fredericia along with her mother-in-law, her husband attended Princess Marie's 40th birthday party in Klampenborg, here.

June 5th: Crown Princess Mary attending the Home Guard Parade along with the Queen

With saber and a bunch of polished medals on the left side of her chest, the Crown Princess proudly participated the parade in Fredericia along with approximately 5,400 other Home Guard members. The parade is reason why Queen Margrethe attended the event. She was suppose to inspect the parade, which her daughter-in-law participated. The parade was part of a final event to celebrate a couple of great days with the Danish Home Guard. Later it was followed by a reception taking place at Dannebrog.

Usually the Crown Princess is dressed in some fancy designer dress, when standing next to her mother-in-law, but not this time. She was traditionally dressed in an army green camouflage unitform as lieutenant
