Day 4.

The Olympic Games 2024

31 July 2024

Dressage at Versailles

Queen Mary is enjoying the Olympic Games in Paris, France with two of her best friends - Helle Trolle and Malou Skeel. They arrived yesterday to watch dressage at Versailles. The Queen also watched a handball match between Denmark and Sweden.

Today, the three of them showed up for another round of dressage at Versailles. She and Helle Trolle had the pleasure of congratulation Cathrine Laudrup-Dufour with her impressive show.

Love that the three of them wore colour-matching outfits at the dressage at Versailles. Mary wore a brand new red/white pin-striped dress and a soft white linen blazer. The dress has been identified as Signe Bøgelund-Jensen.

She embraced the style with her Canopy Bay by Deborah Hutton hat and chic Celine sunglasses. I get why all of you go crazy about this outfit. I do too!

Her golden necklaces are from Halberstadt and Dulong Fine Jewelry. Bracelets and earrings are also stunning creations by talented Dulong Fine Jewelry. Even her ring is crafted by the Danish goldsmith - who also happens to be a close friend of her.

She carried all her belongings in an amazing Prada bag. No doubt about her new sandals. They are from Hermés. The color was more difficult to track down but I think I found it. Her fine little scarf is part of the Vero Moda collection designed for the Danish OL team.

Swimming competition

Queen Mary attended a swimming night session in Paris as part of the Olympics. The swimming session took place at the Paris La Defense Arena.

She was one again accompanied by Helle Trolle and Malou Skeel.

Honestly, I think her eye-makeup was a bit too heavy but I love the rest of her look at the swimming night session. Mary matched a simple white button-down blouse with a reused navy blue printed Ganni skirt. She first wore the skirt back in 2018 when meeting with CEO of Women Deliver Katja Iversen.

The white pearl earrings from Dulong Fine Jewelry goes waaaaaay back in time. Think it is the earrings she favor the most. She has worn them a million times for a million of different occasions. Her three necklaces are from Halberstadt and Dulong Fine Jewelry. The bracelets are too. Even the custom-made ring.

By now, we all know that the little delicate brown leather cross-body bag is from Chloe. First worn at a humanitarian visit to Jordan in 2013. The cool blue sandals are new ones from Prada.

Day 3.

The Olympic Games 2024

30 July 2014

Dressage at Versailles

The Queen is back! King Frederik and Queen Mary both attended the grand opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Paris on July 26th. They were back in Denmark the following day.

Now, the Queen is back in Paris to attend more competitions. She is accompanied by two of her good friends - Malou Skeel and Helle Trolle. Her current stay in France is not part of her official calendar.

On July 30th, the three friends attended dressage at Versailles.

I have come to love Mary's casual style. All loose and summery - and lots of linen. Her 'being-back-in-Paris-look' is no exception! She rock that brand new Robert Friedman dress. The color is outstanding. Soft and comfortable.

Love how she casually accessorized this new dress with plenty of golden jewellery - mainly from Danish jewellery designer Dulong Fine Jewelry. I really need to wear multiple necklaces and bracelets. Makes an outfit complete in a whole different way. Her elegant diamond earrings are old ones from Sophie Bille Brahe.

Mary also wore a few other pieces of accessories. Among other things, new sunglasses. They have been identified as Celine. Usually, Mary wears cat-eye sunglasses or those with round glasses. These are a bit unusual. Way more square shaped. Do you like them?

She also flashed brand new Prada sandals! The same model as her brown ones. These are... BLUE. I am going crazy over her cool sandals.

Handball match: Denmark VS Sweden

Queen Mary attended a handball match between Denmark and Sweden's women's teams. She was accompanied by her two good friends Malou Skeel and Helle Trolle, whom she is traveling with these days. The match took place in the Olympic Hall.

The big question: who is the winning team? DENMARK! The Danish team won the important match.

Mary looked beautiful in her casual outfit at the handball match. She changed from a new Robert Friedman dress earlier to a simple white blouse, (new?) green linen trousers and her red Vero Moda blazer supporting the Danish teams participating the Olympics.

She accessorized the look with a number of golden pieces of jewellery. Diamond earrings from Sophie Bille Brahe, a Rebekka Noking ring, bracelets from Dulong Jewelry and necklaces from Halberstadt and Dulong Fine Jewelry. Her two golden bangles are still a mystery to me.

Her glasses are old ones from Gucci - probably her favorites glasses. The brown leather cross-body bag is Chloe. I haven't been able to find a photos showing what shoes Mary wore. Have you?

Day 2.

The Olympic Games 2024

26 July 2024

Visiting the Danish Athletes

Before attending the official opening ceremony, the King and Queen visited the Danish Athletes in the olympic city in Paris

The Danish Athletes are amongst 14,000 others participants who are about to compete different sports from today till August 11th.

King Frederik and Queen Mary joined the athletes for lunch.

Once again, Mary had chosen a red and white outfit! What's not to be proud of? Yesterday, when the couple arrived in Paris, Mary also wore the most magnificent red Max Mara jumpsuit and a white linen blazer

Today, when visiting the participating Danish Athletes in the olympic city she stunned wearing a simple white dress or blouse and skirt. I believe she wore a dress. The chic red blazer is designed by Vero Moda which has created costumes for the Danish Athletes alongside with Jack & Jones. Both Danish brands.

Mary embraced the style with golden earrings from Orit Elhanati and necklaces from Halberstadt and Dulong Fine Jewelry. Two of her bracelets are also designs by Dulong Fine Jewelry. The diamond ring is a beloved one from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen.

How to make this outfit even better? - no problem. With a brown Chloe leather bag and matching heeled sandals from Gianvito Rossi.

Official opening ceremony

What we have all been waiting for: the official opening ceremony! What a crazy experience it most have been for the couple and all the other attending the big ceremony. Imagine what went thought the participants participating the opening.

The King and Queen also attended a reception hosted by the President of France Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte Macron. The reception took place at the Palais de lÈlysées.

A number of other royal guest were also invited to the reception - and the opening ceremony. The King and Queen of Spain, King Philippe and Queen Mathilda of Belgium, Prince Albert and Princess Charlene of Monaco and the lest goes on.

I truly adore Mary's outfit at the reception: a brand new Jesper Høvring blouse and stunning new white Andiata trousers. A thin brown leather belt from Scanlan & Theodore. Nevertheless, I think it was a bit too informal for the event. Looking at what all the other royal women were wearing I think Mary's was a little plain. What do you think?

Mary also wore a new trenchcoat but this I do not recognize. Think it could be new.

Her beautiful golden diamond studded earrings are from Dulong Fine Jewelry such as two of three necklaces. The third one is Halberstadt. Do you like wearing multiple necklaces? I like it but it does not suit me very well.

At the reception, Mary used her brown Chloe bag as clutch. Think it is the first time we have seen that. Maybe another clutch would have made the outfit slightly more exclusive for the occasion?

The red rivet pumps are an iconic design by Valentino.

Day 1.

The Olympic Games

25 July 2024

King Frederik and Queen Mary have arrived in Paris, France to attend the Olympics Games 2024. They first attended the official opening of the Danish Pavilion at Danmarkshuset (the Denmark House) and the Danish church 'Frederikskirken'.

Michael Starkbæk, Denmark's Ambassador in France held a speech on the occasion and DR's Girls choir gave a beautiful concert. Queen Mary is patron for the girls choir.

In the evening, the royal couple attended an official dinner hosted by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). The dinner took place at the Musée du Louvre.

The guessed were warmly welcomed by President of IOC Thomas Bach and his wife Claudi Bach.

L-O-V-E that Mary wore a red and white outfit at the opening of the Danish Pavilion - and following dinner at the Musée du Louvre. Royal Fashion Police identified Mary's brand new bright red jumpsuit as Max Mara. Isn't it simply stunning?! Think I just fell in love. She embraced the elegant jumpsuit with a white linen blazer. In a way I recognize it but can't tell for sure. Do you recall it? Have we seen it before?

I like wearing jewellery but sometimes I forget to. You know that? But every time I see Mary wear multiple necklaces and match several bracelets, I am inspired to do the same thing right away. When in Paris, she wore necklaces from Halberstadt and Dulong Fine Jewelry along with white pearl earrings from Dulong Fine Jewelry.

She added a few accessories for the dinner at Musée du Louvre in the evening. Like a golden Rebekka Notkin bangle and diamond ring, and a sequin Prada box clutch. At the opening of the Danish Pavilion, she wore a magnificent brown leather handbag from Anya Mindmarch.

Salvatore Ferragamo designed her chic heeled sandals. Wished to see them again for a long time.
