 Day 7.

The Olympic Games 2024

03 August 2024

Dressage at Versailles

It was a big day for the Danish team of Daniel Bachmann Andersen, Cathrine Laudrup-Dufour and Nanna Skodborg Merrald when participating the dressage final on August 3rd at Versailles in Paris.

Queen Mary and her two close friends Helle Trolle and Malou Skeel supported the Danish team being present at the final. So was Princess Benedikte and her lady-in-waiting Countess Mette Ahlefeldt-Laurvig.

Denmark won silver because of Cathrine Laudrup-Dufour's amazing performance. Congratulations to Cathrine and the rest of the Danish dressage team!

Maybe it paid off wearing red and white? That is what Mary did. She wore a beautiful (new?) white dress and her bright red Vero Moda blazer - designed for the Danish teams participating the Olympic Games this year. She styled the fine dress with a super chic new belt. I really like her new belt. She has added a few to the collection lately. I still do not know where it is from.

Mary embraced the winner outfit with golden earrings from Dulong Fine Jewelry and elegant necklaces from Halberstadt and Dulong Fine Jewelry. The fine diamond ring is Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. Once again, Mary carried her chic beige Prada bag. Really like it!

I am sure she wore sandals from Hermés. The more I study them, I think she wore a different color than on day 4. These seems more 'pale' than her rosy ones from her revisiting Paris on June 31st.

Handball match: Denmark VS the Republic of Korea

Later on, King Frederik joined his wife attending the women's handball match between Denmark and the Republic of Korea. They were one big cheer - of course supporting the Danish team. Queen Mary's blouse proved that. She wore a white t-shirt with 'DENMARK' printed on it.

Mary styled her cool t-shirt with lovely green trousers and a reused denim button-down from POLO Ralph Lauren. Actually, she wore this earlier in Paris on August 1st attending a rowing competition. Her fine scarf is part of the Vero Moda collection designed for the Danish team participating the Olympics. Great little detail.

She choose to wear the same golden bracelets from Dulong Fine Jewelry for the handball match. My guess is that she would also have been wearing golden necklaces as previous days.

Day 6.

The Olympic Games 2024

02 August 2024

Handball match: Denmark VS Hungary

Queen Mary was accompanied by Helle Trolle and Malou Skeel when attending a handball match between Denmark and Hungary for men. The match took place at Paris South Arena.

Numerous Danish politicians, like former Prime Minster Lars Løkke Rasmussen also watched the exciting handball match.

Denmark won 28-25!

Mary supported the Danish team by wearing the official 'Denmark- t-shirt designed by Vero Moda. Looks like she matched the bright red blouse with creamy-colored trousers and a brown leather belt. The favorite color-combo: red and white.

She accessorized her outfit with beloved Gucci glasses and two golden bracelets from Dulong Fine Jewelry. I get a glimpse of diamond earrings. Never identified. I believe she would have worn three folden necklaces as well, but I have not been able to find a photos proving it.

Tennis match

After the handball match at Paris South Arena, the Queen Mary once again accompanied by her husband King Frederik to attend the tennis match for men at the Rolan-Garros Stadium.

The semifinal match was played by Felix Auger Aliassime from Canada and Carlos Alcaraz from Spain.

What an outfit! Love her new Rabens Saloner trousers. The kinda style we rarely see Mary wear. Baggy and casual. Usually, she wears black trousers with wide legs when wearing trousers. Dress-pants. I like this cool look. She matched them with a reused soft blue Bagutta button-down blouse and a brand new belt from Zimmermann.

Mary had chosen golden jewellery from Halberstadt, Dulong Fine Jewelry and Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. I am really interested in her rather new golden diamond ring own of her pinky. This has become a huge trend. So far, it is still a mystery to me.

She also embraced her outfit with blue Gucci sunglasses, a Canopy Bay by Deborah Hutton hat and her brown cross-body bag from Chloe. Her chic sandals are Hermés.

Day 4.

The Olympic Games 2024

31 July 2024

Dressage at Versailles

Queen Mary is enjoying the Olympic Games in Paris, France with two of her best friends - Helle Trolle and Malou Skeel. They arrived yesterday to watch dressage at Versailles. The Queen also watched a handball match between Denmark and Sweden.

Today, the three of them showed up for another round of dressage at Versailles. She and Helle Trolle had the pleasure of congratulation Cathrine Laudrup-Dufour with her impressive show.

Love that the three of them wore colour-matching outfits at the dressage at Versailles. Mary wore a brand new red/white pin-striped dress and a soft white linen blazer. The dress has been identified as Signe Bøgelund-Jensen.

She embraced the style with her Canopy Bay by Deborah Hutton hat and chic Celine sunglasses. I get why all of you go crazy about this outfit. I do too!

Her golden necklaces are from Halberstadt and Dulong Fine Jewelry. Bracelets and earrings are also stunning creations by talented Dulong Fine Jewelry. Even her ring is crafted by the Danish goldsmith - who also happens to be a close friend of her.

She carried all her belongings in an amazing Prada bag. No doubt about her new sandals. They are from Hermés. The color was more difficult to track down but I think I found it. Her fine little scarf is part of the Vero Moda collection designed for the Danish OL team.

Swimming competition

Queen Mary attended a swimming night session in Paris as part of the Olympics. The swimming session took place at the Paris La Defense Arena.

She was one again accompanied by Helle Trolle and Malou Skeel.

Honestly, I think her eye-makeup was a bit too heavy but I love the rest of her look at the swimming night session. Mary matched a simple white button-down blouse with a reused navy blue printed Ganni skirt. She first wore the skirt back in 2018 when meeting with CEO of Women Deliver Katja Iversen.

The white pearl earrings from Dulong Fine Jewelry goes waaaaaay back in time. Think it is the earrings she favor the most. She has worn them a million times for a million of different occasions. Her three necklaces are from Halberstadt and Dulong Fine Jewelry. The bracelets are too. Even the custom-made ring.

By now, we all know that the little delicate brown leather cross-body bag is from Chloe. First worn at a humanitarian visit to Jordan in 2013. The cool blue sandals are new ones from Prada.

Packing important backpacks

14 August 2023

For quite some years, the Mary Foundation has worked along with the Ole Kirk's Foundation and LOKK - the National Organization of Women's Crisis Centers to help children in crisis centers. Many of them often arrived with their mother and siblings with very little or nothing.

The three of them have developed a special backpack in collaboration with LEGO. This is why the Crown Princess visited LEGO in Billund on August 14th. To give a helping hand packing some backpacks (here).

A backpack contain things like toothbrushes, postcards, toys. Thing that makes it a little easier for the children to adapt to the revolutionary situation. And give the children the opportunity to talk about the feelings they have inside during the turbulent time.

I'm not sure I am the biggest fan of Mary's latest outfit when packing backpacks in Billund. I cannot pinpoint what it is about the outfit that I am not crazy about. Maybe the denim blouse. It makes her look a bit "too casual" to me. What was your first impression?

In Billund, Mary styled a reused denim blouse from Polo Ralph Lauren and brand new Closed trousers. Those, I kinda like. Think they are pretty cool with the rather large pockets and the BOSS Hugo Boss belt makes it even more edgy.

She embraced the casual style with quite a few pieces of jewellery. I spotted a new green beads necklace matched with her beloved Halberstadt and Julie Sandlau necklaces. As other jewellery, she wore bracelets from Rebekka Notkin and Dulong Fine Jewelry. A closer look revealed that Mary also was wearing rings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen and Dulong Fine Jewelry.

The new beige suede loafers are from Hermés and her tortoise-like glasses are from Gucci.

Summer at Gråsten castle

June 29th
When the Crown Princess attended the opening of CPH Garden in Copenhagen, here, I discovered that there are no more events are scheduled in her calendar for the next month. I was then wondering if the couple were going on vacation with the children and I was right. Three days ago the royal house published a photo of Princess Isabella with a caption telling that she was enjoying a ride with her mother in the forest close to Gråsten castle. The photo is taken by the Crown Princess. So, apparently the Crown Prince couple enjoy some time at Gråsten these days.

July 2nd
The day before yesterday, the Crown Prince family welcomed a new member to the family: a border collie called Grace. The sweetest little puppy. Grace is related to the family's first dog, Ziggy. And what a great time a year to welcome a little puppy into the family; while all children are home and they are staying at Gråsten castle on vacation. On this occasions a couple of pictures have been shared on Instagram taken by the Crown Princess herself. Welcome little Grace, you have already won our hearts.

July 15th
Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary were spotted in the streets of Gråsten along with all four children, here. The Crown Prince family watched the annual procession of riders, where more than 300 participated.
The Crown Princess was dressed in one of her old white blouses from Athé by Vanessa Bruno, here, and a pair of brand new printed trousers from Bitt Sisseck, here. From what I see, she is wearing brown sandals, a couple of bracelets from, among others, Dulong Fine Jewelry and her red Prada shades. Kate identified her new brown leather sandals as Hermés, here. A great look for the Danish summer weather.

July 16th
The Crown Prince couple and their four children are spending their vacation at Gråsten castle this year along with the new little puppy Grace and Queen Margrethe. Today all of them, except from Grace, greeted the Gråsten Ring Riding Association parade in the streets of Gråsten. All the riders had flowers and small gifts for the royal family which were received with gratitude. Even though it was pouring down with rain they all seemed to have a great morning, here, here, here, here, here, here.

Crown Princess Mary embrace a chic summer style, unfortunately covered by a black raincoat from 66 North, here. She attended the event in Gråsten dressed in a brand new maxi skirt identified by Pernille as See By Chloé, here, a white blouse and what I believe is her brown Hugo Boss leather belt. Pretty sure I am not the only one who would love to have seen this outfit without the coat, right? After a closer look I noticed that she was also wearing a couple of golden jewellery -Dulong Fine Jewelry earrings, here, and a bracelet, a Orit Elhanati necklace, here, and a diamond ring from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen, here.
