The unknown event, is no longer unknown

A couple of days ago the Crown Prince couple attended some kind of unknown event somewhere in Copenhagen. Nothing was published in their official calendar. Nor do anyone know what kind of event the couple attended. I have found couple of pictures, here and here, which were taken by private people. It looks like they couple are on their way home because you get a glimpse of Amalienborg in the background. Both were dressed in plain white. The Crown Princess wore his naval uniform. Maybe that is where the answers lies? Now I am finally able to tell you a little more about the event. It actually took place in Copenhagen. In May photographer Mario Testino, Vogue editor in chief Edwina McCann and fashion director Christine Cenetenera visited the royal couple in their home at Amalienborg, where pictures were taken and an interview was made with the Crown Princess, on among others sustainable fashion. Fashion director Christine Cenetenera shared a photo of herself, the couple and Testino on her Instagram, here. So, the unknown event was actually a photoshoot. As bonus info; the Crown Princess was wearing a creamy white coat by KITX by Kit Willow, here.

According to several media the Crown Princess was in a splendid mood, when she arrived at the Admiral Hotel in Copenhagen to attend the official opening of IDAHO Forum. It is the 4th European conference, which this is year, is hosted by the Danish Government entitled Bridges and Alliances and it is focusing on LGBTI people marking the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia'. Soon, the Crown Princess will host the biggest conference on girls and women's health and well-being called Women Deliver. So this was a great way to get started. On several occasions the Crown Princess has pointed out how dialogue is the way to make the difference. She was in a brilliant mood at the arrived to the Admiral Hotel, where she was warmly welcomed. It was a guest of honor that she attended the IDAHO Forum in Copenhagen. The Crown Princess spoke in front of the other 200 participants, who comes from more than 25 different European countries. To reach all of them with her speech, she walked across the stage like she had never done anything else. With a claim vice she gave her speech in English, speaking how these issues are an international matter - it has to be on the global agenda, as well as national. If you have an interest in reading her speech, here. Very impressive reading.

Because of the heat and warm weather we finally enjoy in Denmark, it's really time for shorter dressed and sunglasses. Mary showed up in a fantastic navy ble knee-length dress and some incredible t-strap pumps. I would love to add these two pieces to my wardrobe, what about you? At first I was sure her dress was new, but it turnes out that I am wrong. Kate and I talked about the dress and we realized it is an old one. Mary wore the same dress at the RC65 Who Europe in Lithuania last year, here. Just looks so different without the cape and belt, am I right? Makes her look so beautiful. At that time I had no luck identifying the dress and I still have no idea where to find it. Somehow the style reminds me of something, but still I cannot figure out where it is from. Let me know if you have any ideas. She accessorized her outfit with diamond earrings from Hartmann's, a Georg Jensen bracelet and a new brooch. So elegant and sophisticated. Really beautiful. What rally caught my eyes,  are her shoes. A pair of mustard t-strap pumps. She wore them the first time at the presidum meeting with the Mary Foundation, here. I completely fell in love with her shoes the first time. They are gorgeous. I even managed to identify them as Sergio Rossi and with some help from Heaven, I can finally show you the right model.

Annual meeting with the Mary Foundation

Wednesday, May 4th

Crown Princess Mary hosted an annual meeting with the Mary Foundation's presidium at Frederik VIII's Palace, Amalienborg in Copenhagen.

Every year the Crown Princess hosts a meeting with the Mary Foundation's presidium, which often takes place in her own home at Frederik VIII's Palace at Amalienborg. It is also the case this year. Results in 2015 and future plans were on the agenda at the annual meeting. Including the Crown Princess herself; twenty people were gathered at the palace in Copenhagen. All participants listened with great interest when CEO of the Mary Foundation, Helle Østergaard told about last years amazing results for, among others, the Free of Bullying program, which is developed to prevent bullying for children in daycare and pre-school age. To hear that this program is used by every other kindergarten and every third school in Denmark, I imagine amazed all of them who were sitting around the table. The meeting was also about future plans, which caused lots of comments and of course questions also from the Crown Princess, as chairwomen of the foundation. She was the one to present future plans and at the same time she thanked them all for supporting the Mary Foundations work.

What better way than showing off your bright red Hugo Boss (collection: BOSS Black) dress at an important meeting? That is exactly what Mary did, when she hosted the annual meeting with the Mary Foundation partner's. No one else can rock a red dress at a meeting like Mary can. This one features 3/4 sleeves, pleatings around the neckline and that sophisticated knee-length. A few years ago she wore the same dress, belted with a beige belt. This time she embraced the style by wearing a red belt instead. Like the classy lady she is, Mary accessorized her look with Dulong Fine Jewelry earrings featuring the most lovely golden pearl pendant, a delicate diamond bracelet and rings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. Love how she always manages to match the most incredible jewellery to her outfits. Classy and stylish. Always. I adore when she wears something old and reused. Actually I hoped for something reused and that is exactly what I got. She even wore a pair of brand new t-strap pumps. I have come to love these so, so much. Turns out they are from Sergio Rossi. Found them after a few hours of search with some help from Heaven. Can't wait to get a better look, when she wears them again. Hopefully that'll be soon.

After all, it is quite a couple of days ago the celebration of King Carl Gustav of Sweden celebrated his 70th birthday. Time has not been on my side until now. I have followed the events closely and are now ready to share everything with you.
Royals from all over the world, were gathered in Sweden to celebrate the kind. From the Danish royal family attended Queen Margrethe, the Crown Prince couple and Princess Benedikte. All of them stayed at Dannebrog, which docked the previous day before the big celebration. From what I know, the Crown Prince couple didn't arrived along with the Queen and her sister. Nevertheless, the couple were in a great mood meeting the press on the red carpet. The couple stood first raw to congratulate the swedish king on his birthday, who arrived along with his beautiful wife Queen Silvia. They really seem to have a great time accompanied by, among others Princess Märtha Louise and Princess Benedikte. The swedish people's celebration was followed by a lunch for friends and family at the town hall in Stockholm. Maybe you even watched it all on TV? When I searched for pictures, I discovered a wonderful moment of the Crown Princess and Princess Estelle (daughter of Princess Victoria of Sweden and Prince Daniel), which was caught on camera. The Crown Princess asked for a picture of her and her goddaughter. Prince Daniel captured the moment. Pictures of her, Crown Princess Victoria, little Prince Oscar and Crown Prince Frederik were also captured on her phone. Couple of days ago, a picture of Prince Daniel, Crown Princess Mary and Jan-Ove Waldner appeared online, here. A day where many new memories were created and captured to remember in the future.

Already from the morning I think we have seen some incredible outfits. Lots of pastel colors. Mary really also impressed me with what she was wearing. Nothing says fashionable, as the right coat. Despite we have seen the exact same outfit at a previous event, when the king and queen of the Netherlands visited Denmark back in 2015, here, I love everything about her look. She rocked it all over again. The wonderful caramel coat is an Oscar de la Renta design and matched everything else perfectly. Surprisingly, Mary didn't wear anything pastel as most of the other invited royal ladies. We never know what to expect from her. A little pastel color would have matched the white Prada (collection: RTW SS15) dress very much. The dress features some great details - red stitching. Love to have seen the dress without the coat for just a minute. With accessory and all I get a 50s vibe, when looking at her outfit. Especially, because of the purple Jane Taylor hat featuring feathers and rhinestones. She embrace the style by wearing purple leather gloves, a Carlend Copenhagen clutch and Christian Louboutin pumps. She even wore a few diamond jewellery and a large brooch. Everything just looked absolutely great.

Crown Prince Frederik & Crown Princess Mary attending gala dinner at the royal palace

Before attending the gala dinner at the royal palace in Stockholm the Danish royal family members spend some time on their on at Dannebrog. Probably getting ready for the dinner. At dinner time, the four royals went off board and was met by the most incredible sunny weather. The sun almost kissed their faces. Royalty from both Sweden, Norway, the Netherlands, Belgium etc. arrived one by one, as well as the royal guests from Denmark. They were all warmly welcomed by the host himself. I haven't been able to find any pictures from inside the palace, but that is probably not etiquette in Sweden. I don't know for sure. We only have pictures from the arrival and welcoming. From everything I have been able to find out, then the Danish royal couple really enjoyed themselves during the evening at the royal palace in Sweden. Bet a fine dinner was served as well as good wine.

Personally, I am always very excited to see what everybody are wearing for a dinner like this. Both Crown Princess Victoria and her sister Princess Madeleine are always beautifully dressed. Non of them are afraid of trying something new and often wears marvelous evening gowns. At the dinner the two royal sisters wore smashing gowns from Elise Saab. And Princess Märtha Louise's gown was stunning with the one should cap sleeve and rather long train. Queen Mathilda of Belgium also wore a magnificent purple gown. I could go on for hours about these dresses. The press announced Queen of the night and to me that can be no-one else than Mary in unexpected floral gown. She wore the most wonderful silk organza gown created by YDE Copenhagen (collection: SS15). The dress features a peplum and cap sleeves, not to mention the beautiful floral print. Anyone who told Mary that this years biggest trend is yellow? She matched this new floral dream with suede Gianvito Rossi pumps and her Yves Saint Laurent clutch. All in yellow. After staring at her dress for about an hour, I came to the conclusion that both hairpiece, earrings and ring are all new and created by one of the most talented jewellery designer we have in Denmark Charlotte Lynggaard from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen.

Crown Prince Frederik & Crown Princess Mary attending a ceremony at Kunliga Palace

The following day on May 1st, the Crown Prince couple left Stockholm in the morning to fly back to Denmark after a magnificent birthday celebration for King Carl Gustaf on behalf of his 70th birthday. The couple had spend the night at Dannebrog, as Queen Margrethe and Princess Benedikte did. Casual dressed and in a great mood, the two of them left the royal yacht. The Crown Princess was wearing her lovely white Temperley London turtleneck sweater and a pair of shades. Her husband impressed in a simple white shirt, a blazer and a blue scarf.
