Opening of Lolland Business School

24 August

Crown Princess Mary has already had some pretty busy weeks as, among others, patron of Copenhagen 2021 and the presentation of the EliteForsk Prizes (here). On August 24th, she visited Maribo to attend the official opening of Lolland International School. The Crown Princess was invited as guest of honor.

Lolland International School is the first international primary school in Denmark. It gathers pupil's from different backgrounds, cultures, nationalities and of different languages. The school also aims to ensure a healthy integration of foreign students in the local community on Lolland.

The Crown Princess was warmly welcomed, when she arrived to Lolland International School in Maribo. She was given a bouquet of flowers and many smily faces welcomed her. A traditional red ribbon was cut to mark the official opening of the school. Crown Princess Mary was given a helping hand by both pupil's Mayor Holger Schou Rasmussen and school principal Dominic Maher.

After the opening ceremony both Holger Schou Rasmussen and Dominic Maher showed her the school facilities - classrooms and a common space for the use of everybody.

Mary really looked lovely at the opening in Maribo! She first wore this beautiful Morten Ussing dress at an official visit to Paris in 2019 (here). With that dress, she impressed the entire royal community. Me included. I was impressed and stunned all at once, once again at the opening. I adore how this dress looks with that brown leather belt from Max Mara. It looks even more magnificent this time. Those two colors are made for each other.

Sometimes Mary likes to wear only a few pieces of jewellery and on other occasions she wears quite a lot. Lately, we can go with option number two. Mary loves to wear jewellery at the moment. When attending the opening of Lolland Business School, she had chosen to style her stunning dress with golden earrings from Dulong Fine Jewelry and a necklace, bracelet and ring from the same designer as well. Mary truly likes Dulong's design. She has from the very beginning and I get it. They make outstanding designs.

Mary also wore Orit Elhanati's jewellery. A golden twisted necklace. Rebekka Notkin is the creator of her eye-catching golden bangle and Cartier is the master behind her third bangle. Once she step out of the car, we get a little glimpse of a bag. Her new handbag from Prada. The same she wore at the ending ceremony for Copenhagen 2021 (here).

And of course, her brand new heeled sandals! They perfectly match the rest of her outfit. Especially, the brown leather belt. Aren't they just beautiful? Heaven managed to identify Mary's new shoes as Michel Vivien. Gorgeous design.

Presentation of the EliteForsk Prizes

23 August

The presentation of EliteForsk Prizes has become an annual event. An event, Crown Princess Mary has attended for several years. The EliteForsk Prizes have been handed over each year since end of 2007 by the Danish Ministry of Education and Research. The prizes are given to the leading researchers in each their field with the aim of creating awareness about research in Denmark.

Minister of Education and Research, Jesper Petersen welcomed the Crown Princess when she arrived to the ceremony. A little later, they both entered the stage and presented each their recipient of the EliteFork Prizes. The five recipients are Professor Anders Engberg-Pedersen, Professor Gemma Flare Solomon Larseno, Professor Eva Boxenbaum, Professor Signe Nordmand (who was not able to attend the ceremony) and Chief Physician Emil Loldrup Fosbøl. They both received a personal reward and money to spend on future research.

I adore, when Mary wears these bright colorful dresses. Seriously, what is not to like? That pink color looks amazing next to her fair skin and dark brown hair. Mary already showed us this lovely No 21 dress before. Among others at the opening of an exhibition on occasion of Crown Prince Frederik's 50th birthday in 2018. At the presentation of the EliteForsk Prizes, Mary had chosen one of her Carlend Copenhagen clutches. I am amazed how well these two colors match. They are almost the exact same shade.

Many years ago, Mary started wearing nude pumps with colorful outfits. A lovely combo. I love this little trick myself. Makes your legs look longer and outfit even more bright. She embraced the style by wearing golden jewellery. Once again, she wore golden earrings from Dulong Fine Jewelry. Incredible design studded with diamonds. The two necklaces from Orit Elhanati and Dulong Fine Jewelry are for sure a favourite combo of hers at the moment. Made me want to wear more necklaces. Rebekka Notkin is the designer of Mary's simple golden bangle. Plain, but outstanding piece. Last, but not least her three-stone ring is also from Dulong Fine Jewelry. Proves how well green and pink matches!

The end of "Copenhagen 2021"

21 August

I truly think, Crown Princess Mary has been looking forward to these days of celebration, dialogue, communication, debates and gathering people from near and far. This is what Copenhagen 2021 did this year and Crown Princess Mary was patron for the event.

On August 21st it was time to gather one last time. The end ceremony of Copenhagen 2021 took place in Fælledparken in Copenhagen. The Crown Princess was in a splendid mood, when she arrived to Fælledparken. Minister of Culture and Church Ane Halsboe-Jørgensen, Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen and Mayor of the City of Copenhagen Lars Weiss warmly welcomed the Crown Princess. So did, Lars Henriksen - spokesperson for Copenhagen Pride.

Along with six different pride parade, Crown Princess Mary entered the stage and gave a remarkable speech. Personally, I like how she ended her speech. With few words she managed to sum up something very important: we need to keep our strength and remember that many di believe in the concept; that we all belong to one global community. She also encourages people to stand strong, united and safe. Read her speech here.

The Crown Princess was popular as always, but it seems like she was a bit more in focus at the ending ceremony in Fælledparken. Everybody wanted to get a photo with her, speak with her, shake her hand. We rarely see her on a selfie, but that changed at the ceremony.

I love all the photos we have from the ceremony. Mary looks all relaxed and comfortable - also in what she was wearing. For the event, she has chosen a simple white button-down blouse and a brand new colorful skirt. I guess, we have seen her wear the blouse on a number of previous occasions, but the skirt was worn for the very first time. I learned that this new piece is from Zimmermann and that makes sense. The style, print and colors are what to "expect" from Zimmermann.

Even though her clothes are interesting, I think her accessories are a bit more eye-catching. And Mary wore lots of jewellery. The rather large golden earrings are from talented Dulong Fine Jewelry. One of her necklaces (the medium length one) is created by the same designer, such as one of her bracelets. I really like how she matched all these pieces of jewellery with her outfit. She also wore two other necklaces - one from Orit Elhanati and the last one is Rebekka Notkin design. Cartier and Rebekka Notkin are the creators of her two other bangles. Close-ups made me aware that Mary embraced the style with several rings as well. She matched a brand new golden ring from Dulong Fine Jewelry with a trinity ring featuring green stones.

Her beautiful tote is new. A photo reveal that it is from Prada. It looked stunning with the rest of her outfit and nude peep-toe wedges from Tod's. Incredible look!

EuroGames 2021

20 August

Crown Princess Mary already attended quite a lot events on occasion of Copenhagen 2021 taking place in Copenhagen these days. Copenhagen 2021 is one name for WorldPride and EuroGames. More specifically, EuroGames is an sportsevent gathering 22 different disciplines. The Crown Princess paid a visit to one of these events.

She arrived to Bellahøj Hallerene and Swimming Stadion in Bellahøj. She was about the met the swimmers participating EuroGames swimming discipline. It was truly a pleasure watching her and the players togther. They were all smiles and happy faces. Her visit was indeed a success.

It was as patron of Copenhagen 2021 that Crown Princess Mary visited Bellahøj Hallerene and Swimming Stadion. She both watched a match of handball and water polo. Pan Sports also informed the Crown Princess about their work creating social and physical development opportunities in sports. Equality and community all in focus.

When visiting Bellahøj, Mary was dressed in relaxed and comfortable. In many ways this was not a typical outfit for her. We rarely see her in jeans for official events and these large blazers are also low in numbers in her wardrobe. I learned at UFO No More that her brand new striped blazer is from Massimo Dutti. Cannot wait to see how she will wear it again. Maybe with a pair of black wide-legged trousers? At the EuroGames events, Mary embraced the style of her new blazer with a simple black blouse and chopped jeans.

To complete her relaxed look, she had chosen her leather espadrilles from Chanel. I really like that we get to see her everyday wardrobe on these official events. Mary also styles her outfit with a number of accessories. First of all, I noticed that she wore her Kknakki hairband as (more of less) a bracelet. They are so fashionable. Her other bracelet is from Cartier. We get a glimpse of a couple of diamond rings. They are her beloved Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen love bands. Lately, she has also been very fond of this necklace-combo. The twisted golden necklace is from Orit Elhanati and the longer one is by Dulong Fine Jewelry.
