Family gathering at Gråsten

For many years, Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik have spend part of their summer hollidays a Gråsten Castle in Gråsten. A tradition the Queen has "inherited" from her parents King Frederik IX and Queen Ingrid. Especially, Queen Ingrid loved Gråsten Castle. She created quite a few traditional connected to Gråsten. Traditions her three daughters still embrace. One of them is to gather close family every summer at the castle.

This year was no exception. Queen Magrethe hosted a "small" gathering along with Princess Benedikte and Queen Anne-Marie at Gråsten (here). 

So, who attended the gathering? Prince Philippos and his Princess Nina. Prince Gustav and Princess Carina. Princess Alexia and Carlos Morales Quintana. Princess Alexandra and Count Michael. Prince Nikolaos. Princess Nathalie. Princess Theodora and her fiancé Matthew Kumar. Prince Joachim and Princess Marie.

I tend to say "of course" the Crown Prince Couple also attended the gathering. They have spend their vacation at Gråsten Castle this year along with all four children.

Somehow, Mary's outfit is surprising and new. Yet, very "Mary". Does that even make sense? Let me explain. A simple button-down and a midi-skirt are typical something Mary would wear for an occasion like this, but the colour combo is quite different than what she usually wears. I learned that her brand new soft yellow blouse is from  Zadig et Voltaire at UFO No More. That colour actually looks really good on her. I would look so pale and sick. Mary matched the new blouse with a reused Zimmermann skirt. She first wore the skirt at "Copenhagen 2021" (here).

She styled this beautiful outfit with golden jewellery. Her earrings and two necklaces are all from the talented goldsmith Dulong Fine Jewelry. Mary has become very fond of those golden necklaces. We get it, right? Her other bangle is from Rebekka Notkin. We also get a glimpse of a Kknekki hair-tie. 

I am not sure, I would have paired those snakeskin Prada sandals, but they are really nice. Mary first show these chic sandals in 2015 (here) and later vacating at Gråsten in 2018 (here). What do you think of these sandals?
