Two meeting's at Amalienborg

30th January

The official calendar only tells that Crown Princess Mary was suppose to attend the presentation of the winners of the Media Competition for Schools 2020 at Politikens Hus at January 29th, here. The second event in her calendar while staying in Copenhagen, before going back to Verbier, is her being present at Women's Board Award 2020 on January 31st.

Apparently, she spent her time wisely because on her day of rest (Thursday) she hosted two meetings at Frederik VIIIs Palace at Amalienborg. It was a patron of the DRC Dansk Flygtningehjælp and Mødrehjælpen, that Crown Princess Mary met with representatives from both organizations.

From DRC Dansk Flygtningehjælp the Crown Princess met with General Secretary Charlotte Slente and Chairman Agi Csonka. The two of them informed her about the current refugee situation and how the organization, with different ongoing activities, are trying to create permanent solutions for refugees around the world.

Later, she hosted a meeting with the CEO of Mødrehjælpen Ninna Thomsen and their Vice President Trine Schaldemose. They told Crown Princess Mary about their work in counseling and helping families with problems and challenges.

No one wears an outfit like this, like Mary does. I love how relaxed and comfortable she looks. Of course that is just not because of what she wears, but if you do not feel comfortable in what you wear; well, it does not show on your spirit.

Meeting with both the DRC Dansk Flygtningehjælp and Mødrehjælpen, Mary wore simple black trousers and a brand new blouse. I wish I was able to wear such trousers with such elegance as she is. I think we often forget to talk about the different types of trousers. Mary has worn this shape for many years and they make her look super classy.

The blouse is quite interesting. A classic button-down in a fresh color featuring white hemlines. So far, I have not been able to identify where it is from. Any idea who created this beautiful blouse? Also, let me know what you think.

Am I the only one who think Mary has got her hair done? It looks great. A bit more light brown than usually and white lighter brown highlights. She embraced the style of her gorgeous hair and outfit with reused diamond earrings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen and a matching diamond ring from Dulong Fine Jewelry. The second ring could be her wedding ring or her temporary replacement. I cannot tell for sure. The matching black and powder pink rivet pumps are her Valentinos.

  1. Beautiful blouse, love the pale colour. White collar and cuffs add interest. The pants I love, fitted. Very elegant look.

    1. You are not the only who to love that outfit. I do too. The black trousers and two-tone blouse make a great match.
