Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary watched the musical Phoenix in Tivoli, Copenhagen, along with all four children.
Like every other school kid, the four royal children have one week vacation on Friday. This gives them the opportunity to get some time along with their mother and father. So, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary spend Saturday afternoon along with all four children watching the musical Phoenix in Tivoli in Copenhagen. The musical is preformed by more than 100 of the most talented young people in Glassalen in Tivoli. It is a family musical by Gunvor Reynberg and Christian Dahlberg. Phoenix is an adventurous journey back to the ancient Russia, a magic journey that will awaken your imagination. It was a private visit and only a few were lucky enough to get a couple of photos of the royal family. I was really not sure whether or not I should show the photo because I have the attitude that we should give the royals some spare time on their own. I have discussed this issue with you a million times before. They also need a little privacy. Nevertheless, I have chosen to share this with you anyway because I don't think it offend anyone. I am in no doubt that both parents and children enjoy the day.
According to Frederik et Mary the Crown Princess also attended the wedding of the American ambassador in Denmark taking place in Copenhagen City Hall the same day as she watched the musical with her family. Here the Crown Princess was wearing one of her fantastic YDE Copenhagen dresses as in 2011 when she attended the 100th anniversary of the American Scandinavian Foundation in New York, here.

With a couple of pictures from their day in Tivoli, we also have the chance to see what Mary was wearing. I have always loved her outfits, especially the ones being worn as everyday-looks. This time she was dressed in good old clothes in navy blue colours -my favourite. The calendar tells us October, which means cold and windy weather in Denmark. So, Mary had chosen to dress as the weather wants to. Slim jeans, a navy blue sweater matched with a white button-down and her reversible Massimo Dutti coat. She embraced the style with a pair of Isabel Marant boots and what could be her Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses. A classy look accessorized with her caramel brown Ralph Lauren bag, which is on the top of my wish list right now. Don't think I will ever be able to afford it, but I still adore the brown bag.
