Øresund Bridge's 25th anniversary

25 years ago Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik inaugurated the Øresund Bridge's that connects Denmark and Sweden.

This year the bridge celebrate its 25th anniversary. King Carl Gustav and Queen Sonja of Sweden accompanied King Frederik and Queen Mary in Malmø celebrating the anniversary. They were welcomed by CEO Linus Eriksson. The Swedish EU Minister Jessica Rosencrantz and the Danish Minister of Transport Thomas Danielsen also attended the event.

I feel this outfit makes mixed emotions amongst you. Am I right? I am totally in love with everything about it. The color, the different fabrics. Something classy and polish, and something feminine and elegant. I adore how she matched her Scanlan & Theodore suit with an old 2009 By Malene Birger blouse. She last wore the blouse in 2011 at the wedding of Prince Albert of Monaco and Charlene Woodstock. Even the belt matched! Did you know that Mary first wore the Prada belt in Australia in 2005?

Mary embraced the outfit with stunning white pearl earrings from Dulong Fine Jewelry and a smashing ring. The ring is a reuse but I have never been able to identify it. Could it be a custom-made? Her hairpiece is created by Danish milliner Susanne Juul.

What is not to like? Even her Jimmy Choo pumps matched the colors of her outfit. Somehow I have come to love this outfit even more writing about it.

Day 2. Official visit to Nigeria

A day in Lagos

Queen Mary arrived to Abuja on June 24th. She is accompanied by Danish Minister of Education and Research Christina Egelund on her trip to Nigeria.

The Queen spend her second day in Lagos. She visited MADHouse at the University of Lagos along with Christina Egelund. MADHouse or Make a Difference House is part of University of Lagos. It offers room for technological progress and innovation.

They two of them also visited APM Terminals and Terra Kulture. It was followed by a visit at the artist Modupeola Fadugba.

I really really like Mary's outfit! The brown-themed-outfit is simply wonderful. It goes beautifully with her fair skin and brown hair. The ME+EM paisley printed dress is brand new. Have the feeling that it is not going to be the last time we are to see this dress. She styled it with a reused Ralph Lauren jacket and a leather belt from Max Mara.

Mary embraced the stunning look with Ray Ban sunglasses, an exclusive brown leather handbag from Ralph Lauren and heeled sandals from Michel Vivien.

I am in love with her choice of jewellery. The custom-made Dulong Fine Jewelry earrings and bracelet goes perfectly with the new dress. Lovely match of colors. The massive golden bangle is by Rebekka Notkin such as her diamond ring. Louise Grønlykke is the woman behind the design of Mary's oustanding necklace.

Dinner at The Nordic Hotel

Queen Mary attended dinner at The Nordic Hotel in Lagos as guest of honor. Christina Egelund, Danish Minister of Education and Research joined the Queen for dinner.

Representatives from both arts, culture and entrepreneurship from Nigeria were also invited to take part in the dinner.

Mary looked like a shining star on a starry night at the dinner in her soft pink printed Mikael Aghal dress. A first everyone though it was a new dress but it turns out that Mary in fact wore the dress prior to the dinner at The Nordic Hotel in Lagos. It was for her niece's wedding on October 26th 2024.

She accessorized her dreamy dress with long pink diamond earrings. They have never been identified but she has worn them on many occasions. They are adjustable in length. Her necklace is from Louise Grønlykke. I noticed a new ring but I have no details. The elegant clutch is a reuse from Serpui.
