Presenting the Women's Board Award 2023

03 February 2023

It is not the first time Crown Princess Mary is attending the presentation of the Women's Board Award. It was first handed out in Denmark in 2014. The Crown Princess has presented winners of the Women's Board Award for now seven years - 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020.

11 women were nominated as role models for future board leaders. The Women's Board Award aim to inspire more women to take leading positions. To spotlight female board members. Also to enlighten how women can create value to companies.

This years winner of the Women's Board Award 2023 was Malou Aamund. She was given the award for her many years being involved board work. Alongside she has also previously worked a number of leading positions in the IT industry.

Yes. Yes. Yes. This is exactly the look I have been waiting for! I truly missed her wearing some colours and that dark green is everything I needed. This magical dress is custom-made by talented Søren Le Schmidt. A one-of-a-kind Danish designer. He has created several pieces to her wardrobe (here, here, here). Mary wore the emerald green dress for the first time, when being celebrated by collaborators and partners of the Mary Foundation on occasion of her 50th birthday last year (here).

As in 2022, she decided to embraced the style by wearing nude pointed pumps from Prada. I always adores when she matches a bright colour with nude accessories. The beautiful ostrich clutch is from Naledi Copenhagen. A personal favourite of hers.

Mary also wore a stunning green ring. A lovely match with the custom-made Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen earrings. Of course, we all like the idea of "F" standing for Frederik and the small medalion to be a gift from her husband. Right? Nevertheless, the shorter 'F' necklace has been identified as a Halberstadt creation.
