It was as patron of the Heart Association Crown Princess Mary visited Rigshospitalet on occasion of the new research project called Copenhagen Baby Heart. Parents are offered a heart scan of their newborn before the end of two weeks after the birth if they live in Copenhagen. The purpose of the project is to see if it is possible to track down heart defects in time and gather knowledge about child development. By visiting Rigshospitalet Mary had the opportunity to see for herself how the project is working in reality because she watched a heart scan of a newborn. With four children I think she knows exactly how important such a project like this can be for a child's life. The Crown Princess followed closely everything that was going on around her and also asked lots of questions along the way. Passioned as always.
Though the weather is nothing special really, Mary turned a cloudy and rainy into a bright and sunny day with her outfit! Despite the lack of colours I think it looks incredible; chic and modern. A bit minimalistic. So, what she did was combining a new printed blouse with a pair of black trousers. Actually very simple. Immediately I was drawn to her blouse, looks very interesting. I have not been able to find it on my own -I had some help with this one. I tried 10 or more different designers, but non of them was the one I was looking for. Then yesterday I received an email from the most lovely lady, sharing her possible findings on Mary's new blouse. I am in no doubt that she has found the right one at Proenza. A designer I think we have now seen for the first time. Believe she used the scarf as a belt, what a clever idea! Neither do I think we have seen that 3/4 sleeve jacket before. Or have I just forgotten? Love how the blouse sleeves are longer than the jacket. Makes a great detail. Another really beautiful detail is her diamond brooch, perfectly matching the earrings. The brooch are told to be a gift from her father-in-low and belonged to his mother, but it's only rumors. About the earrings, then I have never heart anything. What I know is that she also wore the day Princess Isabella was christened, here. Embracing the simple and minimalistic style she was wearing her brown pumps from Gianvito Rossi. I'm totally in love with her curly hair; looks so feminine and beautifully framing her face.
