150 years are quite some time. First I most congratulate Red Cross on behalf of their anniversary and everything they have achieved the last 150 years. Danish singers and actors were among the special invited guests taking part in the celebration, as well as five members of the royal family. The anniversary took place in the orangery at the beautiful and old Fredensborg castle. From what I now, no press was allowed to follow the festivity. Fair enough. Luckily there are lots of pictures from when the Crown Princess and the rest of the royal members arrived. These pictures were taken outside, in the garden, and from what I see I believe Mary, Prince Joachim and Princess Marie had a great time sipping a glass of champagne before attending dinner.

Special clothes are needed for a special occasion like this. That's probably who Mary showed up in this new curry gown which turns out to be from Hugo Boss (BOSS Black, RTW SS12). The dress was id'd by one of you, my lovely readers. I have the feeling that you have mixed emotions about the dress, am I right? A reason why I absolutely love it, is because it's unexpected. Rarely we see her wear a yellow dress, but this fits so perfectly the late summer weather! The beautiful gold earrings are traditional Portuguese earrings and the model is called ‘Queen earrings’. Very appropriate for a future queen. It’s the second time we see her wear them. Embracing her beautiful slim figure, she wore a black laser cut belt which I still do not know where is from, but could be Boss as well. Also in black Mary was wearing a leather bracelet, possibly from Naledi Copenhagen, a feather clutch from Jayson Brunsdon and lace pumps from Gianvito Rossi. Since we saw the clutch the first time, I was so sure it was a Club Monaco design (admit it, they look very similar!), but at Brunsdon's Facebook page it has been confirmed that he is in fact the designer. Love how chic and edgy her look turned out, especially because of the eye makeup and black details. So, have I been able to convince those of you who didn't like the dress at first?
