Inauguration of new National Bereavement Center

22 August 2023

Crown Princess Mary attended the grand opening of the new bereavement center in Vejle. She attended the inauguration as patron of The National Bereavement Center (here).

This new bereavement center makes children, young people and other citizens the opportunity to share their grief with others. Especially children and young people fall down into solitude when a parent becomes seriously ill or die.

One initiative to create a dialogue about this heavy grief, is the centers "memory tree". Crown Princess Mary also wrote a small note in memory of her mother, Henrietta.

Since 2019, Mary has worn this incredible Morten Ussing dress three times now. She first wore it at an official visit to Paria (here). Mary then wore the beautiful dress in 2021, when attending the opening of Lolland Business School (here). When visiting Lolland, she embraced the style of the dress with the same brown leather belt from MaxMara. Makes a great look!

She matched her outfit with old Gucci tortoise-like glasses, her smashing brown leather bag from Ralph Lauren and the most amazing (!) new Salvatore Ferragamo. I could talk about these heeled sandals for days. They are so magnificent. Do you like that kinda heel?

Mary was also wearing plenty of smashing pieces of jewellery. Like her custom-made white pearl earrings from Dulong Fine Jewelry, necklaces from Halberstadt and Julie Sandlau and rings from Dulong Fine Jewelry and Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen.

Look closer and you'll see that she also styled a rather new MaRe bracelet with an oooooold golden Cartier watch.
