RC70: WHO Regional Committee for Europe

14th September

Crown Princess Mary spend her weekend well before attending the WHO Regional Committee for Europe (RC70), because the Crown Princess took part in her very first dressage in Frederiksværk, here. She was accompanied by her oldest daughter, Princess Isabella. The Crown Princess paired with both Edelman and Wasabi for the event - two beautiful horses. She took the stand as number four. Pretty good, don't you think? Maybe this is not the last time we see her at such competitions?

Today, she arrived to the UN City in Copenhagen to attend RC70 - the WHO Regional Committee for Europe. Crown Princess Mary takes title as patron for the event. She has taken part in the conference for quite a few years now and often gives a speech. This year was a little different. Because of the current situation with COVID-19, the conference was all virtual.

The conference now takes place for the 70th time. It gathers representatives from all 53 countries, who are members of WHO Regional Committee of Europe to discuss healthcare related questions. Crown Princess Mary was part of all that on todays meeting.

She was accompanied by several other members in the UN City in Copenhagen. Among others, Dr Hans Kluge, Minster of Healthcare and Elderly, Magnus Heunicke and CEO of the National Board of Health, Søren Brostrøm.

The Crown Princess also gave a speech at the opening ceremony. Her 10th speech. She is quoted to have said that: "There can be no healthcare without the health workforce", here. True. The pandemic was her main focus and how the european healthcare workers have made a remarkable effort to handle the situation with great care and professionalism. But hear her speech and be inspired by her words.

Personally, I think finding the right outfit can be very difficult. Should I wear a skirt, trousers, a dress, with or without a blazer, you name it. I cannot be the only one asking myself these questions daily. Somehow, Mary always manage to find exactly that outfit that makes the day. I know she has a personal stylish assisting her, but over the years she has become more and more secure and independent in her style.

For the conference she had this year chosen a brand new dark orange/brown blouse and matched it with simple black trousers. Wish I could find trousers that suits me as well as those trousers suits Mary. Maybe my legs are just too short. I have still not been able to identify her new blouse, but take a look at it. Isn't it gorgeous? Love all the details. The puffed sleeves, the close neckline and the perfect sown front. Any ideas about where it is from? I need your help with this one.

She embraced the look by wearing golden earrings (and matching pendants) from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. A current favorite of hers. So is the Cartier bangle and the other golden bracelet from Dulong Fine Jewelry. I am sure you always have your own favorites.

A fullbody picture showed us that Mary also wore old goodies from Valentino. Black pointed pumps embellished with rivets. An iconic model. The picture also enlightened us whether or not she was wearing a belt. She was. A beautiful Etro belt.
