Christmas visit at Rigshospitalet

For quite some years, the Queen has visited Kræftværket at Rigshospitalet around Christmas. Kræftværket is a safe place for young cancer patients. Kræftværket always host a Christmas event and Queen Mary has been a regular visitor sinde the inauguration in 2015.
Queen Mary enjoyed a wonderful evening with the young patients. They talked, had gløgg (hot drink) and the famous æbleskiver. A traditional Danish dessert. It's like a pancake batter in the shape a small balls. Tastes wonderful with jam and powdered sugar.
They also celebrated nurse and youth coordinator Maiken Hjerming's 10th anniversary as head of Kræftværket.
We have only very few photos of Mary's outfit from when she visited Kræftværket af Rigshospitalet. I see a lovely brown jumper gathered in her waist with a small ribbon. It looks new. Think she was wearing brown or black trousers. There are not much to go on.
