Only a month ago our favourite royal couple went on a official visit to Australia and now they are going on a three-day official visit to Mexico with Danish Health Minister Astrid Krag and a 52 company business delegation to focus on improving the trade between Denmark and Mexico in among others healthcare and welfare, climate-friendly technology and agriculture. Their three-day visit is packeted with different activities and places to be from the morning till late evening. If I'm correct the couple arrived to Mexico yesterday and was on November 11 ready to spend their day with the Mexican citizens. Their day started at 11:00 am. by visiting the CTDUCA Foundation. The foundation works with education and care taking of people with Down Syndrome. During the visit they royal couple were presented including how a certain dietary supplements can help to improve the cognitive abilities of people with Down syndrome. With big smiles on their lips Frederik and Mary got to talk and meet some of the children connected to the foundation while they were cocking. To me it's wonderful to see how we give these people a second chance, helping them to get better in the everyday etc. I have a cuisine who was born with Down Syndrome and I makes me happy to see how to help these children in every possible way. Makes me happy to see all of them smile. An hour later the couple went on to the next visit at the Museum of Anthropology in Mexico City where they were introduced to the history of Mexico and the museum's three main galleries. I think it must have been a fascination visit seeing some of the Mexican history because let us admit it, Mexico have a really interesting ancient history with myths, cultural stories etc.

Often on a official visit like this Frederik and Mary are official welcomed by the hosted as one of the first things. This time the couple were welcomed by President H.E Enrique Peña Nieto and First Lady Angélica Rivera de Peña in the presidential residence in Mexico City, afterwards. And of course no visit without a little fun. Around noon they visited the Papalote Children's Museum. During the visit the couple met Mexican children from The Denmark School and their LEGO-buildrings as a part of the LEGO-workshop. The children here get the chance to build their own future city and at the same time learn about environmental friendliness. In the afternoon attended the Royal Couple in the ceremony Key to the City with the Mayor of Mexico City, Miguel Ángel Mancera. At the ceremony the royal couple were presented with the key to the city, which symbolically give them free access to Mexico City. What a guests! When the clock turned 8:30 pm., local time, in the evening they attended a concert with the Danish band Raveonettes at El Plaza Condesa.

This first day Mary showed us her femininity wearing the most stunning floral peplum! So wonderful featuring the large white roses. I have been able to identify the new romantic peplum and I found it at Dolce & Gabbana. It was a little surprising to see her wearing a floral peplum, because we have only seen her in plain cloud blouses like these. But I love that she try something new. Not many of us are that good a wearing prints or at least I'm not. Don't know about you. This is an item I would so much love to see again maybe with a pair of white trousers? I think it would look as good as the white pencil skirt. Give me the feeling us summer, sun and long nights. She accessorized the outfit with Marianne Dulong jewellery, classic white pearl jewellery.  I remember telling you that her beautiful silver ring featuring the large white pearl was most likely inherited from her mother-in-law, Queen Margrethe, but I was completely wrong. A friend of mine, Pernille, gave me the clue that proved another truth. Jewellery designer Marianne Dulong uses a special file technique which has been seen on her ring. That is why we must assume Dulong has created this as well. She matched the rest of the outfit with a beige Naledi Copenhagen (Fall/Winter 2011/2012) clutch and patent leather pumps from Jimmy Choo. I read somewhere else she was wearing Christian Louboutin shoes but I'm quite sure that is not true.
