State of World Population Report 2016

Friday, October 28th

Crown Princess Mary attended as patron the launch of the State of World Population Report 2016 along with UNPFA (United Nations Population Fund) at Søndre School in Rødby.

Dr.dk

It was on occasion of the launch of United Nations Population Fund State of World Population Report 2016 that Mary visited Søndre School in Rødby. The visit focused on 10 year old girls around the world. She attracted great attention from all the children right from begining. At the arrival she was warmly welcomed with flags, flowers, hugs and handshakes. Mary was accompanied by politicain Kristian Jensen by whom she has met at several previous occasions. After a short speech given by the Crown Princess herself it was time to have a little fun. She attended games like tug a war (and her team won!) and something called 'dizzy goal'. You spin 17 times around yourself and try to get goal with a football -she missed. I think it was an educational and fun visit for both Mary and the kids.

Functional and minimalistic. Two simple words perfectly describning Mary's outfit from the visit at Søndre School in Rødby, Lolland. She was dressed in a very casual grey jersey blouse featuring long sleeves, a criss/cross at front and v-neckline which has now been found at L.K. Bennett by Lisa and Kate. Thanks you two! Don't recall we have ever seen her in this specific piece before. She paired it with black trousers and her black Heartmade ankle boots. At the arrival she was wearing her wonderful beige double breasted coat from By Malene Birger; a great match to the grey and black look. Which has to be what I love most about this outfit. Left side of her chest she wore a little flower brooch, I'm sure you noticed it. What's special about the brooch is that the money goes to charity to support cancer research Knæk Cancer. Wonderful of her to wear it. Both necklace and diamond rings are from the talented Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. Well, this is differently not one of my favourite outfits this year, but I love her taking time to show commitment to the world's girls. An honor to have her as Crown Princess!

DANSK Design Talent -The Magasin Prize 2016

Thursday, October 27th

Crown Princess Mary attended the presentation of DANSK Design Talent -The Magasin Prize 2016 at the State Museum of Art in Copenhagen.

I have completely lost all track of Mary and her whereabouts and I am in no way prior to knowing what follows in her calendar. But so far I do not think I've missed something (thought I'm a little behind). So when I found out she had just presented this years DANSK Design Talent prize 2016 it made my day even better! After a long day I enjoyed watching pictures from the award show where Mary was the guest of honor. And what an entrance when she arrived to the State Museum of Art in Copenhagen where she was welcomed by one of her good friends Nina Wedel-Wedelsborg all dressed in a golden suit (!). Everything was set from decorations, here, to promient invited guests. Pefectly for this to become a wonderful evening. And when Denmark's biggest design talent was about to be presented, entered the Crown Princess the stage along with a couple of others to be one of the first to congratulate Cecilie Bahnsen when she won. I really want to send her a major congratulations and well done! Because this is not just some prize, it's one of the most prestigious to win. So CONGRATULATIONS Cecilie with the title as the biggest design talent 2016.

Oh... and just another thing; I want to remind you about the Crown Prince couple's wedding anniversary. It's very soon and we don't have that much time left, so let me know if you have the worlds best idea how to celebrate this lovely couple here on the blog. Don't hasitate to share what you have in mind. I really look forward to hear all your great ideas!

Fashion events always means magnificent outfits and award show on Thursday was no exception. Lost of prominent guests were invited dressed in their finest outfits, including the guest of honor who arrived as the last one. Like a godess was Mary wearing a brand new, almost organic evening gown in the most wonderful dark purple colour. It features long sheer puffy sleeves, a square neckline, a drop back, florlength skirt and a metallic belt embracing her beautiful silhouette. Thought it would be one of those dresses we would never find out who created, but only a few days after the mystery was solved by... the designer herself on Instagram. It is the talented Stine Goya who created this piece of magic. She did an amazing job with Mary's dress. Wonder how it is to design a dress Mary will one day wear? Surprisingly she had chosen a very colourful and ethnic printed clutch. No idea who made it but it differnetly caught my attention right away. Perfectly matching the golden belt she'd style the rest of her outfit with traditional portugess golden earrings sold by Alma e Coraco, a Cartier bracelet such as another chain bracelet from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen featuring a few drops pendants. I also see a rather large ring on her right hand and I think it could be this one, here. Last thing left is what pair of shoes she might have chosen to wear with just an elegant dress? Think I have the answer -burgundy suede pumps from Gianvito Rossi. I'm completely overwhelmed by hair and makeup. Simply stunning!

Danish Maritime Forum

Tuesday, October 25th

Queen Margrethe hosted a reception at Amalienborg Palace on occasion of the Danish Maritime Forum. Crown Princess Mary and Prince Joachim were also present at the reception.

It was about to become a wonderful evening at Christian VIIs Palace, Amalienborg, when Queen Margrethe hosted a reception on occasion of the Danish Maritime Forum. The forum entitled The New Normal: What will tehe future of the global maritime indutry look like when the fundamentals are changing? is taking place from October 26-27th where leaders and decision makers meet. At the same time is representatives from all over the world is gathered in Denmark to attended several different events on the area the Danish Martime Days from October 24-28th. Crown Princess Mary and Prince Joachim joined the Queen for the reception. And from what I see I believe they all, including all the invited guests, were having a great evening in each others company. Big smiles and happy faces.

That one I didn't see come! Bell-shaped sleeves. Wauw. I was told that it's from Roksanda which I do not believe we have seen Mary wear before, but I'm sure it's not the last. Unfortunately we only have very few pictures from the reception which makes it hard to see every detail of the dress and her whole outfit. A reason why I hope to see her in the dress again -soon. Because from what I see, it almost looks like Mary 'dissapear' in all that fabric. When I take a look at the model, I really do not see the same. So it's probably because the pictures are taken from a bad angle. What was your first impressio when you saw her in the new dress? She embrace the style with one of her Carlend Copenhagen clutches in yellow as the sleeves, a pair of earrings from Dulong Fine Jewerly and her expensive golden Cartier bracelet. Love the way her makeup turned out; very classy and chick -berry lips and dark eyes. Not to forget that amazing wavy hairstyle. This is not something I normally do, but I really have to make a comment on the Queen's outfit because that red suit looks magnificent on her! Very, very lovely who she matched a longer red blouse with a pair of loose wide leg trouers. Denmark have both a stylish Queen and Crown Princess, no doubt about that.

After four years of construction it was time to inaugurate the new emergency department at the Regional Hospital in Randers. And of course such as special event takes a speciel invited guest. That is why the Crown Princess was guest of honor when the new department was officially inaugurated on Tuesday. When she arrived to Randers she was welcomed by lots of kids waving the Danish flag and many of the girls were wearing golden crowns because of the royal visitor. As always was Mary in a splendid mood! Her smile and aroused eyes even made me smile. During her visit she was given a guided tour to see for herself some of the new facilities and met both staff such as patients. I really think it was an honor for Mary to attend the inauguration. A big and laud congratulations from me to Randers with their new emergency department!

No doubt that fall has arrived to Denmark. It is freezing cold at night and during the day we have rather low temperatures. But clearly that is not something Mary has noticed with what she wore visiting Randers on Tuesday. For her, I hope she was wearing sheer thigts or this would have been a really cold experience. Nevertheless, she was beautifully dressed in one of her black Hugo Boss dresses seen at serveral previous events and that gorgeuos dusty blue tweed coat makes a great outfit! Think we have seen this combo before, but I do not know for a fact. Just a qiuck thought. The amazing thing about the blueish knee length coat, is the possibility to wear something burgundy, bordeaux or marron like the incredible Prada pumps. Even better she accessorized the outfit with a suede Hugo Boss clutch seen once or twice before. It was ID by Heaven. I always thought her clutch was burgundy, but now I see that it's purple! She perfectly matched the coat with a Susanne Juul creation. Elegant and almost luxuriously she was styled wearing a black pearl bracelet and a ring from Dulong Fine Jewelry and diamond earrings. You noticce when you see a closeup is that she is in fact wearing a shiny petrol blue nail polish! Something I'm very sure we haven never seen before. So what do you say? Do yo like what you see. I think she looks dazzling.

Reception for Danish Athletes

Friday, October 14th

Crown Princess Mary attended, along with Prince Christian and Princess Isabella, a reception for Danish athletes having participate in the Olympics and Paralympic in Rio de Janeiro. The reception took place at Christiansborg Castle. Queen Margrethe, Prince Joachim, Princess Marie and Princess Benedikte were also present at the reception.

More than 200 Danish athletes, coaches and representatives of the Olympics and Paralympic were invited by Queen Margrethe to attend a reception at Christiansborg Palace on occasion of their participation at the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, couple of months ago. One by one the guests arrived just as the royal family did around 12:30 pm. local time. First Princess Benedikte, then Prince Joachim and his lovely wife Princess Marie, followed by Crown Princess Mary who arrived accompanied by Prince Christian and his sister Princess Isabella. The Queen arrived as the last just as as rules prescribe. The Crown Prince has been involved in an accident on a trampoline which is why he wasn't attending as scheduled. It caused a fracture of the cervical spine. The fracture is treated with a neck collar, one he should be wearing for about 12 weeks. The best of luck from me. Hopefully he will get better soon.
Instead we had the pleasure of two of his lovely children at the reception which by the way was broadcasted live on Danish television. All the guests were welcomed with a handshake from the attending royals including the young prince and princess, standing right next to their beautiful mother. It was the Queen who gave a welcome speech in the Drabantsalen where the reception were taking place -you know the room with the amazing black/white floor and where the walls are covered with colourful tapestries.

Note that this event was the day before Prince Christian turned 11 years old, but of course you. The reason why these two posts got all mixed up is because I've been a little behind writing the last week.

No doubt that a lace lover like me adore Mary's new dark red lace dress! Simply magnificent. First thing I noticed was how perfectly she matched the colour on the wall where all the guests were welcomed. And even the Queen, Princess Benedikte and Princess Marie were wearing red outfits! Her beautiful new dress is from Dolce & Gabbana and now I have been able to find the right model. Every time I look at it, it become even more magnificent! Apparently this dress has been seen on Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge at at previous event, here. At the arrival to reception she was wearing her woolen grey JOSEPH coat. Grey and red what a match! Looks really amazing. Don't you think? She paired the outfit with beige Gianvito Rossi pointed pumps and a dark grey Naledi Copenhagen clutch. Another trick I have learned admiring Mary and her style for so many years, is how great pale and bright colours go together. Somehow it just look so stylish. Beautifully she embraced the glamorous style with a diamond brooch, earrings and a few rings. I wouldn't mind seeing this outfits again one day.

About four hours after the Crown Prince and she unofficially payed a visit to the House of Industry and Danish Industry, here, in Copenhagen Mary was on duty again to attend the Psychiatry Foundation's 20th anniversary as patron of the foundation and guest of honor. October 10th is also the day where the WHO's World Mental Health Day is taking place to increase awareness of, among others, mental illnesses. As earlier in the morning, she was in a brilliant mood and seemed to had been looking forward to participate in the celebration of the 20th anniversary. During the visit, several speeches were given and various presentations of the foundation's work. It was with great interest Mary listened. Afterwards she got the opportunity to meet some of the participants at the anniversary. I wish the Psychiatry Foundation congratulations on behalf of the anniversary!

With relatively few hours in between the two events, the Crown Princess has chosen not to change clothes and why should she when this outfit is so damn perfect? The best pictures were taken on arrival where she has her Massimo Dutti coat on which you know is reversible. I would very much well like to see a picture of her without her coat, but I could not find one. The reason is that I want to see how it looks with the Prada blouse and Chloé skirt as an outfit. Like earlier in the day, she had shoes on from Lanvin and tights in the same dark blue colour. What wasn't clear to me earlier is that Mary also wore two diamond rings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen and a rather large Dulong Fine Jewelry black pearl bracelet worn a countless occasions before this one. As her outfit; I believe it was a tremendous day with plenty of time to celebrate the Psychiatry Foundation and their incredible work.

Visiting Danish Industry

Monday, October 10th

Unofficially Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary visited Danish Industry in Copenhagen.

Kongehuset.dk
Princessesblog76.blogspot.com

I haven't been as active here on the blog lately as the Crown Princess has. She has been working so much the last couple of weeks. What I now try to catch up. But you should know that I miss, terribly much, writing on a daily basis. Usually both Frederik and Mary's calendar are packed with official visited, but on Monday October 10th the Crown Prince Couple unofficially visited Danish Industry and the House of Industry where they were given a guided tour to see their facilities in their workspace near Rådhuspladsen in Copenhagen. The couple were warmly welcomed by CEO Karsten Dybvad, here. To me it seemed like their were both in a splendid mood! During their visit they also got the chance meeting some of the employees and gained an insight in the everyday work. Unfortunately, very little is written about this unofficial visit which makes it hard for me to tell you more than I've already done. Maybe I should mention that this visit came prior to the 20th anniversary celebration of the Psychiatry Foundation in witch Mary attended late the same day.

Don't want to talk about the weather because not much fancy to tell, although I am pretty sure the weather is the main reason why Mary had chosen darker colours and a cosy warm Massimo Dutti coat. I was absolutely stunned to see that Chloé (pre-AW14) skirt again! From the first time she wore it I've been in love with it. Clearly remember the first time; her curly hair and navy blue wool cape. Here we have it again, finally. Can't tell if we have seen that blouse before, nor if it's black or blue -think it's navy blue to match both skirt, coat, shoes and handbag. Royals & Fashion mention Prada as designer of this blouse. Talking about all these incredible accessories makes me wanna talk even more about them. Immediately I noticed her handbag; if I'm right it's a brand new navy blue leather bag from Prada. Perfectly matching the rest of her outfit we have her Lanvin pumps. A really stylish fall outfit I would love to try out myself. Something you'd try?

This show is something I really look forward to every year! A day where Danish arts, music, charity organizations etc. are honored. All day I was waiting with great excitement to watch the show which was broadcasted live on Danish television and then what. Yes, you're right I completely forgot about it. Not good at all. Now I have and it was a great show. So if you haven't already watched it, here, hurry up then! As you see on the photo below, then Frederik and Mary visited Musikhuset where the Crown Prince couple's Prizes 2016 were about to be handed over in the evening. At 9:00 pm. local time arrived the royal couple to Holstebro welcomed by the sweetest flower girl, who also showed them their way across the red carpet. With the couple present the show could begin with Kåre Quist and Stephanie Surrugue as hosts along with the Crown Prince couple of course. Both Frederik and Mary entered the stage multiple times to present this years prize winners. Here you see who won and why the prizes are given:

The Crown Prince Couple's Culture Prize/Kronprinsparrets Kulturpris

Winner of this years Social Prize is: the organization Børn, Unge og Sorg

Since the first prizes were presented we have seen so many different evening outfits worn by Mary which is also why I so much look forward to this specific evening. Let us admit it; the most incredible outfits are those worn at a evening event. Lately I think it's hard what to expect from her because she has worn so many, very different and surprisingly, outfits. But it was pure excitement when I discovered that she was wearing her metallic blue and black floral skirt custom-made by Jayson Brunsdon for a photo shoot for the Australian Women's Weekly in 2013, here. Since then we also saw it in 2014 at a AmCham event, here. Such a masterpiece! Like back in 2014 she embrace the look with a black wide neck blouse featuring long sleeves, making it even more magnificent. Because of the shape of the blouse, her hairdresser had chosen a half updo. If I should change one thing about this outfit then it would be the blouse. Not that I do not like it, because I really do but I would also love to see her wear the skirt with another blouse or top one day. Maybe next time. Mary's porcelain skin and rather dramatic eye makeup captures my attention right away just as her pumps did. Women and shoes, you know what I mean. Because she has so many pairs of Gianvito Rossi shoes I'm not quite she if we have seen these before -probably. She also stunned me with the berry red lips and matching burgundy nail polish. Not to forget the huge aquamarine blue ring and large chandelier griandole earrings. Spot on!

"Kvinde på Kærre" in Holstebro

October 8th is indeed a special day for the Crown Prince couple because, as you all know, thirteen years ago the couple got engaged! But it was also a special day for the people living in Holstebro because that was the day when this lovely couple was about to visit the city. It was on occasion of the city's sculpture Woman on a Chart and the fact that the Crown Prince Couple's Prizes 2016 show would take place in Holstebro later in the evening, that Frederik and Mary visited the city. Though it was cold and windy the royal couple managed to make everybody smile and laugh with their warm smiles and happy faces. No doubt the couple had a great time in each others company. I am sure some of the attendances got the chance to congratulate the couple on behalf of their engagement day.

Not to say that winter has arrived to Denmark but wauw it's really cold outside which you might sense when you take a look at what she was wearing at the visit in Holstebro. A nice navy blue wool coat; one we saw for the first time when Mary attended the presentation of the annual christmas seal along with Queen Margrethe in 2015, here. It's still not identified but Kate is the reason why I remembered it from a previous event. She had styled it with a rather large burgundy leather belt embracing her waistline beautifully. A really clever trick to try on your own, make a great look to belt up your coat, jacket or blazer. She embraced the warm and cozy style by wearing one of her black jersey turtlenecks and a pair of regular black trousers. As I have told you before then I'm a huge fan of turtleneck blouses; they are incredible, are amazing to wear and must important keeps you warm when the weather is cold and windy (as in Denmark right now). Perfectly matching the coat Mary wore a pair of navy blue suede ankle boots. Pretty sure they are not new, here, but unfortunately not identified. In the post I just referring to the shoes was mentioned as By Larin. It was recently a friend of mine who made me aware that these two models are not the same -different seams. That's why they are still unidentified. Looking absolutely smashing she accessorized the lovely fall outfit with blue leather gloves and diamond studs from Hartmann's which is actually the only ID I have for you.

Earrings: Hartmann's

13 years of Marriage!

Today, on October 8th, 13 years ago Frederik and Mary declared their love to each other by engagement. It was that memorable day when a woman by the name Mary Elizabeth Donaldson met the press officially for the first time next to her husband-to-be, Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark. Unfortunately I can't remember that day, but what I do remember is all those wonderful photos I've looked at for now thirteen years. I absolutely love when I'm able to share old photos with you. Don't know if you love them as much as I do, but today you're not to decide - I am. Though it is a day we like to celebrate each year, it's still a day I really look forward to. Sure the couple does too. This year Frederik and Mary can celebrate their thirteens engagement day with a exhibition in Holstebro and The Crown Prince Couple's Prizes 2016 which is live broadcasted on DR1 tonight at 9 pm. local time, here. What a way to celebrate their special day. Hope you are ready for tonight and till then enjoy the four galleries I have specially made for you!

University Startup World Cup 2016

Friday, October 7th

Crown Princess Mary attended the University Startup World Cup 2016 at Børsen in Copenhagen.

In recent years there has been much focus on creative solutions, innovation and not to forget entrepreneurship. Some of them contributing to this, are students from various university programs. and this is what University Startup World Cup 2016 is all about. Here students, from more than 30 different counties around the world, participate in the competition for the most innovative project. So, University Startup World Cup is really the ideal place to start your own business. And who else to invite than Crown Princess Mary of Denmark to present the winner? That was why Mary arrived to Børsen in Copenhagen in the afternoon. After a few speeches, were the tension triggered and Isara from Indonesia won the prestigious prize. I congratulate the winner! After the presentation Mary got the change to meet the winning teams, who introduced her to their projects. She listened with great interest.

Since the first time we saw her in this specific outfit, have I dreamt of this outfit at a slightly more official event. It would then take over 2 years to actually happen. First time was in 2014 when the Crown Princes couple attended a private birthday celebration for Princess Benedikte at Amalienborg on occasion of her 27th birthday, here. I've loved everything about this outfit and I still do. Adore the combination of colours and printed Stella McCartney coat. Wonder why we haven't seen it before? -maybe in the spring or in the summer. Like the first time; she styled the coat with a pair of white trousers, her powder pink Gianvito Rossi pumps and a suede Hugo Boss clutch. Simply a wonderful combo of colours! Don't you think? Elegantly she wore diamond studs from Hartmann's and some diamond rings created by Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. Really, really a lovely outfit. Then I do not mind all of it is a reused outfit. To me this would never be outdated.

ESMO : European Society for Medical Oncology Congress

Thursday, October 6th

Crown Princess Mary attended the European Society for Medial Oncology (EMSO) 2016 congress entitled "From disease treatment to patient care" at Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen.

No better way than officially open an international congress with Crown Princess Mary as the guest of honor. The event took place at Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen but actually the congress will take place at the Bella Center from October 7th. Here more than 18,000 experts, scientists and therapists will be gathered sharing experience and knowledge on cancer and cancer treatment. It was along with local collaborators, leading cancer researchers, patient associations and representatives from international pharmaceutical companies that Mary attended this event where she took plenty of time chatting with everyone. It was with great interest and commitment she listened to speeches and presentations on cancer treatment on occasion of the upcoming event -the European Society for Medial Oncology (EMSO) 2016

Have to say the first thing I noticed, though it is not that eye catching, is her hairstyle just to start somewhere else this time. That 60's inspired hairstyle caught my attention right away, reminding me that I have to do something similar again soon. Pretty easy to make and looks incredible both day and night. From one thing to another; when the weather in Denmark has completely changed. Now it's cold, windy and leaves fall from the trees. Three signs that we are headed towards autumn which means more warm clothes. Very clever Mary had chosen a black turtleneck blouse to keep warm. Over she wore a short sleeved belted Hugo Boss blouse seen at a previous event in the same combination with the black turtleneck and with a pair of black trousers as well. And we just have to admit that these makes a great match. So I really do not mind seeing the same combo once again. This time, though, she had styled her grey and black outfit with a few pieces of jewellery -both earrings, a still unidentified green brooch, a Dulong Fine Jewelry bracelet and one from Cartier. Even more smashing she wore a grey Quidam clutch and a pair of pumps, here, first seen when she attended the Copenhagen Cultural Children's Summit on Monday. I have sleepless nights trying to find out where they are from. And I'm not the only one. I have this hunch that they could be from Alexandre Birman or Gianvito Rossi but I can't find them. But please, let me know if you manage to ID them or have an idea where to look for them.

Update, October 17th: By request I can confirm that Gianvito Rossi is not the designer of her pumps.

'Netwerk' event with the Mary Foundation

Wednesday, October 5th

Crown Princess Mary was present at the Mary Foundation's Netwerk event at Vocational School in Roskilde.

It has been some busy days for Crown Princess Mary since she and her husband arrived home from a trip to Washington and Boston last week. On Wednesday the Crown Princess visited a Vocational School in Roskilde on occasion of a 'Netwerk' event. It is a project developed by the Mary Foundation aiming to reduce and prevent the feeling of solitude among young people.

Usually she is welcomed with the most incredible bouquet of flowers at the arrival, but at this visit it was slightly different because a florist student was given the task to create a bouquet from what the Crown Princess was wearing that day, which was then later given to her. And she did a really great job. The bouquet is simply gorgeous.

During her visit in Roskilde she had the opportunity to met some of students. She was very interested to know more about their experiences as a student on a training not knowing anyone in advance. the Crown Princess also participated in a little game called 'enegizer' that will give the students new knowledge about each other in a short time. Crown Princess Mary answer that she likes coffee better than tea, dogs better than cats and comedy rather than horror film.

As I mentioned before her bouquet of flowers was created with inspiration from what Mary wore at the event. conveniently she was dressed in floral printed ruffle Baum und Pferdgarten blouse which must have been a great inspiration for the florist student when choosing flowers. It was from Heaven I learned about this new blouse and the new navy blue blazer which is from Alexander McQueen. Very business-like. Her upper body was the first I saw photos of and was so sure she was wearing a pair of regular black trousers, but she wasn't or not exactly. Instead she wore a pair of tight black trousers. Makes a good combination with the rest. Something I completely adore about this outfit, is the fact that she's wearing burgundy nail polish! I'm crazy in love with this colour and it looks magnificent. A perfect match to the navy blue blazer and floral blouse, don't you think? So of course she had to wear her burgundy mid pumps from Gianvito Rossi. Really lovely. The Hartmann's earrings and Cartier bracelet makes the outfit a bit more exclusive such as the green stone in the ring on her right hand. Not new, nor identified. Think this look is a great inspiration for my next work wear outfit!

Opening of the Parliament 2016

Tuesday, October 4th

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary attended the annual opening of the Danish Parliament along with Queen Margrethe, Prince Joachim, Princess Marie and Princess Benedikte.

Every year the first Tuesday in October the royal family are invited to attend the opening of the Danish Parliament. A tradition that go way back in time.

One by one members of the royal family arrived to Christiansborg castle, where they we welcomed with greetings and flowers for the women. First Princess Benedikte arrived followed by Prince Joachim and Princess Mary. Then Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary arrived shortly before Queen Margrethe who arrived last. All of them seemed to me like they were in a splendid mood. Especially Queen Margrethe.

Along with the other invited guests, the royal family found their seats on the balcony. Some years ago I visited Christiansborg Palace, actually I've been there more than once, and it is really a special feeling standing right behind the chairs where the family sits on that balcony in Chamber. Although it's really just six chairs, the feeling was overwhelming. I was on a guided tour around Christiansborg and I believe I was the only one paying attention to those six chairs.

These annual events are always great because it gives us the opportunity to compare outfits, something I find really amusing. Not that I'm going to compare and comment on each and every one of her previous outfits, but still I want to give you the opportunity to look at them anyway. Therefore have I collected all of them right here: 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015. So many lovely outfits, but my personal favourite has to be her look from 2014. That white Chloé coat and purple pillbox hat is simply gorgeous. Do you have any favourites?

I will not say I was surprise about her outfit this year. More satisfied. Autumn is finally here. Yes, it is the time a year I love the most, therefor finally. This also means we get to see some darker colours and patterns, which shows clearly when you look at Mary's outfit from Tuesday - navy blue and burgundy. Really doesn't get any better, right? She was dressed in a magnificent new white peplum jacket from Ralph Lauren paired with a navy blue dress and matching accessories in the same amazing colour. I had the idea that she could be wearing an old Issa dress, here, but I don't know for sure.

It is a reused Susanne Juul hat on her head now featuring some kind of feather accessory. She had also styled the look with Hartmann's earrings, a belt, pair of gloves and a Quidam clutch. All perfectly matching the rest of her outfit, such as the aquamarine blue brooch inherited from her mother-in-law. Left we have the navy blue pumps on her feet that are from Gianvito Rossi.

Copenhagen Cultural Children's Summit

Monday, October 3rd

Crown Princess Mary attended the opening of Copenhagen Cultural Children's Summit. A conference on children, arts and culture. The one-day conference took place at Skuespilhuset in Copenhagen.

Only a few days after the couple's four days visit to the United States Crown Princess Mary started a week with one event after another. This is just one of many events following this week.

Crown Princess Mary arrived in the most splendid mood to Skuespilhuset in Copenhagen. She was about to attend the official opening of Copenhagen Cultural Children's Summit. It is an international one-day conference on how art and culture especially affects disadvantaged children's development and future in a positive way. On Monday it took place for the very first time and Crown Princess Mary was invited as guest of honor.

She was welcomed by lots of children with waving flags. They all wanted a glimpse of the royal guest. The Crown Princess took all the time she needed to meet her "little fans". Seems like the children weren't the only one looking forward to attend the conference, which by the way was organized by Barnedrømmen and Children and the Arts UK, because the children orchestra also welcomed her. At any other opening with the Crown Princess as guest of honor, she officially opened the conference with a speech, here

She was really beautifully dressed, wearing the most amazing new printed silk blouse. First thing I noticed when I found pictures from the opening of the Copenhagen Cultural Children's Summit. Really incredible blouse featuring a short turtleneck and puffed sleeves. I managed to find it at Stine Goya. The first findings in a very long time, but a good one I think. You like it? I can't get enough of it. Lovely print. Really look forward to see her wear it again, maybe with a pencil skirt or white trousers. Think that would look splendid. Talking about trousers then I do not know a thing about this black pair. Probably some she has worn at a previous event.

She'd accessorized the outfit with a black Carlend Copenhagen clutch, earrings and a ring from Dulong Fine Jewelry and a bracelet I haven't found - though I'm pretty sure we have seen it quite some times before.

Also love the way her hair is styled. Amazing curls. So is her make up: light and fresh if that is even possible to use those words when talking about make up.

Of course, her new python pumps. We only got a glimpse of her shoes. Mainly because of her trousers covering them. For a very long time I had Gianvito Rossi in mind, but that was all wrong. I realized that way after I made this post. I happen to come by a picture showing the logo and it showed Prada. A golden Prada logo. So not Gianvito Rossi as I first thought.

Day 4. Business Promotion in the United States

Friday, September 30th
From September 27-30th Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary have visited Washington and Boston along with a business delegation of 59 Danish companies.

The royal couple arrive on Tuesday. The final day of the Crown Prince Couple's visit to Washington and Boston.

Crown Prince Frederik was the first to begin his day at the DONG Energy Breakfast Event followed by the opening of a seminar on sustainability on energy and a visit at Harvard Kennedy School where the Crown Prince handed over a scholar on 250.000$ from Crown Prince Frederik Fund to Harvard University Kennedy School.

Meanwhile Crown Princess Mary attended the opening of the seminar 'The Drivers of Food Innovation in the U.S. and Denmark' on innovation in the food sector, where she also gave a speech on occasion of the opening. Later the same day she was present at the opening of 'LEO Science & Tech Hub' at Cambridge Innovation Center and she visited the Boston Children's Hospital. A great experience for everyone.

It was quite an experience for the attendance when Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary arrived to the State House to meet with Charles D. Baker, Governor of Massachusetts where the royal couple also enjoyed a lunch accompanied by the Danish business delegation, local collaborators and other representatives. One of the attendance who was there at the arrival is Sarah from Swedish Royal Fashion. She kindly share some of her photos with me and have given me permission to share them with you.

It has been called 'pale pink' but I'm pretty sure her incredible KITX coat is white. Kinda makes me happy every time I see it. How many times has she worn it by now? - two or three. Really classy, elegant and feminine. Think it looks amazing on her with the rather large cuffs, loose neckline and floaty skirt.

Radiant like a star she styled her outfit with a pair of pointed snake print pumps from Gianvito Rossi. Another interesting accessory worn on that day is the new green clutch. Because of the colour I noticed it right away. It is a two material clutch from Nina Ricci found by Heaven. Secondly I noticed the new long necklace and of course earrings, the diamond bracelet (possibly from Ole Lynggaard  Copenhagen, here) and two rings. The style really reminds me of jewellery from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen, which is why I strongly believe it's their design. Then we have a golden Cartier bracelet. And her hairstyle. Simply gorgeous and romantic.
