I know you love when Mary is rewearing old clothes and accessories. This suit is a perfect example. Mary first wore her Dolce & Gabbana suit for a business promotion visit in London in September 2004, which makes it more than 20 years old! Impressive, right? At the launch she wore the pinstriped suit with a simple black turtleneck.

Mary accessorized the look with a reused Prada handbag and chic ankle boots from Gianvito Rossi. I missed the bag. We haven't seen it for quite a while. A true Prada classics. The diamond earrings and rings were a beautiful detail with the rather plain outfit. She wore Tom Ford glasses when given her speech.

Day 2. Official state visit to Finland

05 March 2025

King Frederik and Queen Mary are on an official state visit to Finland these days by invitation of Finland's President Alexander Stubb.

They first accompanied each other for a visit at EMMA - Espoo Museum of Modern Art were they were given a guided tour around the museum. Then followed a visit at the Arkki School of Architecture for Children and Youth.

The couple also paid a visit the Aalto University and the Porkkala Garrison in Upinniemi. In between these two visits the royal couple attended a seminar about green financing followed by a business lunch.

Wish she would have worn another color coat. Don't think this bright color stands well with a soft grey. What are your thoughts? Princess Isabella has been seen wearing the Dolce & Gabbana coat at a premiere in Tivoli in 2024. Likely she borrowed it from her mother. I think Isabella wore it better.

Mary had chosen a reused embellished Prada jumper and wide-legged JOSEPH trousers. I kinda like the monochrome vibe. Looks great with her fair skin and brown hair. During the day she added a new navy blue down coat from Uniqlo.

A closer look revealed that she wore earrings that comes with a very special background. They belonged to Queen Margrethe and was a gift for Mary around 2012. Her ring matched perfect in color.

She topped off the look with a black leather handbag from Mulberry and midi heeled boots in grey suede. Mary has worn them before but I am still not sure if they correct designer has been found.

Reciprocal arrangement

In the evening King Frederik and Queen Mary hosted a reciprocal arrangement in Finlandia Hall with the Finnish President and his spouse Mrs. Innes-Stubb as guests of honor. Denmark's ambassador to Findland, Jakob Nymann-Lindegren also attended the arrangement along with other ministers.

King Frederik gave a finial speech with a thanks to the Presidential couple for their kind invitation.

This is not the first chalky white suits Mary has in her closet but this one has never been seen before - except from the trousers. The suit is from Finnish Andiata. Mary first wore the trousers in Paris on occasion of the official opening of the Olympic Games in 2024. At the reciprocal arrangement she wore the trousers with its matching blazer and vest.

Mary embraced the style with stunning golden earrings and a necklace from Dulong Fine Jewelry. She has the same earrings studded with diamonds but I am pretty sure it is the first time she wears a pair without any diamonds. The yellow diamond ring has been seen on a number of previous occasions.

The white pearl clutch from Anya Hindmarch and those golden leather pumps from Malone Souliers are a wonderful addition to a great outfit.

Day 3. Official visit to Brazil

04 October 2024

Meeting with Brazil's President

In the morning, Queen Mary attended a meeting with Brazil's President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva at the Presidential palace Palácio do Planalto. Danish Minister of Climate, Energy and Supplies Lars Aagaard accompanied her at the meeting.

Queen Mary and Minister Lars Aagaard will spend the next two days in Brasília.

Do you feel like we have seen this outfit before? You are right. Mary wore a similar outfit in 2016 when on a business promotion visit in the United States and in 2023 visiting India. The dress is truly beautiful. The simple silhouette and the elegant floral print. What is not to like? Love to see this dress again.

She even styled the Vilshenko beauty with the same custom-made Dulong Fine Jewelry earrings as in 2016 and 2023. These earrings comes with a number of different pendants. Rose Quartz, Amethyst, diamonds. We also get a glimpse of a magnificent Dulong Fine Jewelry ring and sweet Halberstadt necklace.

A closer look revealed that she also styled her look with a Max Mara leather handbag and matching dusty rose Gianvito Rossi sling-backs.

A school visit and a visit to Embrapa Cerrados

After her meeting the President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, Queen Mary paid a visit to a public school in Brasília. She was, once again, accompanied by Lars Aagaard - Danish Minster of Climate, Energy and Supply. They were given knowledge about the schools school food program.

The traveling partners then visited Embrapa Cerrados which is an agricultural research institute in the Cerrado of the savanna area. The Embrapa Cerrados work with  challenges and opportunities in relation to agriculture's impact on biodiversity and the environment in Brazil.

What a lovely outfit! I am pleased to see her wear that Stella Jean dress again. Always adored its silhouette and dusty blue colour. She made a wonderful choice with the braided Zimmermann belt. First worn at the Olympic Games in August. Works beautifully with a dress as well. Do you favor it worn with trousers or dress?

The brown Michel Vivien sandals were also a magnificent addition to her outfit! Later on, she changed to white Adidas sneakers. Like how it turned out both casual yet super chic. Perfect for a visit in Brazil in October. As jewellery, Mary was wearing golden Dulong Fine Jewelry earrings and a custom-made ring. The fine Halberstadt necklace and Rebekka Notkin bracelet were the cherry on the ice cream.

We haven't seen her wear the Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses for quite a while - I'm thrilled. Thrilled to see other sunglasses then her blue Gucci shapes. Her hat is from Canopy Bay by Deborah Hutton.

Work dinner with UNFPA

In the evening, Queen Mary was invited as guest of honor and as patron of UNFPA to attend a work dinner with UNFPA - the United Nations Population Fund. The dinner took place at the Danish embassy in Brazília. Minister of Climate, Energy and Supply Lars Aagaard also attended the dinner.

Mary. You look like a shining star. A true Queen in that Diane von Furstenberg halterneck and skirt. The colours are smashing to her fair skin and chestnut hair. It is indeed a blouse and skirt even though it looks like a dress. Even more because of the red crystal belt from Dolce & Gabbana. She has both worn clothes and belt before.

She embraced the outfit with exclusive Dulong Fine Jewelry earrings, bracelet and ring. All three pieces are custom-made by the talented Danish jewellery designer. We also get a glimpse of a beloved Rebekka Notkin bangle featuring beautiful diamonds.

The brand new Reiss clutch made the look way more dinner-worthy. Such as the stunning golden Aquazzura heeled sandals also worn a couple of days earlier.

Day 2.

Official state visit from Spain

07 November 2023

Yesterday, the King and Queen of Spain arrived at Copenhagen Airport to spend three days in Denmark. They couple were invited by Queen Margrethe. She, the Crown Prince Couple and Princess Benedikte welcomed King Felipe and Queen Letizia with a prestiges gala dinner at Christiansborg (here).

On November 7th, Crown Prince Frederik and King Felipe attended the opening of a business conference at NH Collection Hotel in the morning. Later on, they accompanied their spouses at Kastellet in Copenhagen to a memorial service (here).

Around noon, the Queen and Crown Prince Couple visited the University of Copenhagen along with the King and Queen of Spain.

Crown Princess Mary then had the honor of showing Queen Letizia the Mary Elizabeth Hospital.

Have to say that Queen Letizia first caught my eye in that bright green dress! Gosh she looked stunning. Love the splash of colors. Mary was a bit more quiet in terms of colors when wearing her reused RED Valentino blouse and white tweed skirt from Dolce & Gabbana. A beautiful match. When visiting Kastellet, Mary had chosen a classy wool-blend JOSEPH coat.

Study her outfit closer and you will see lots of fabulous details. Like the outstanding diamond earrings made by Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. They also crafted her two diamond rings. I always adored these earrings.

What on earth? Mary was wearing a brand new handbag!! Can't get enough of this new black leather handbag from Massimo Dutti. Somehow, it reminds me of something Queen Letizia would wear. Looks amazing with her reused black leather pumps from Gianvito Rossi.

Return dinner, Glyptotek

In the evening, King Felipe and Queen Letizia hosted a return dinner at Glyptoteket in Copenhagen. Queen Margrethe, the Crown Prince Couple and Princess Benedikte were guests of honor at the dinner.

Before dinner was served, they were given a guided tour around the exhibition "Joaquín Sorolla - Light in movement". Joaquín Sorolla is a Spanish artist known for his use of especially use of lights, colors and natural phenomena. His art is truly remarkable.

Mary wore one of her most beloved Hennes & Mauritz skirts. An incredible skirt that originally is a dress. We have never seen her wear it as a dress. She had it altered before wearing it publicly. This is the sixth time she is wearing it. In 2018 (here) and 2021 (here), Mary wore the skirt with the same blouse as at the return dinner on November 7th. The blouse has never been identified.

She embraced her evening outfit with magnificent diamond earrings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. Just look at that craftsmanship. Her fine 'F'-necklace is a creation from Halberstadt. Her HUGE Aquamarine ring was set in place with help from one of her Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen diamond bands.

Her clutch is a reused - still unidentified. The black mesh pumps are old goodies from Gianvito Rossi.

Happy 19th anniversary!

Today, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary celebrate their 19th wedding anniversary! Imagine it being 19 years since this wonderful couple got married. Can't believe it.

This year, they share their wedding anniversary with Mother's Day. Crown Prince Frederik made a special post on social media congratulating his wife and the mother of his children.

"My wife and I celebrate our wedding anniversary today. A very special day for the both of us. One we both like to celebrate - also with our four children. This year, it is also Mother's Day. Therefore, a special greeting to you, Mary, as wife and mother. I also want to wish every mother around the country a happy Mother's Day"

- Crown Prince Frederik

Mary looked beautiful next to sweet little Princess Josephine. When enjoying ice cream with her family (probably during summer time), Mary looked stunning in her white Style Butler blouse and jewellery from Dulong Fine Jewelry, Orit Elhanati and Anni Lu. This combo makes me believe that the photo is a few years old from one of their vacations. The sunglasses? They are masterpieces from Dolce & Gabbana.

Opening of "Children Need Arts - Global Summit"

&

Visiting Daycare Center Christianehøj

09 May 2023

Crown Princess Mary was warmly welcomed by children and young people from both Denmark, Greenland and the Faroe Island, when she arrived to attend the opening of the international children's culture summit "Children Need Arts - Global Summit".

The summit acknowledges the importance of arts and its cultural meaning for children and young people and its impact on their self worth, potential and opportunities.

Around noon, the Crown Princess attended the 50th anniversary of Daycare Center Christianehøj. It was celebrated with songs, lots of balloons and some speeches.

For 50 years, Christianehøj has taken care of citizens with a late brain injury in Gladsaxe Municipality. Part of the citizens everyday is among others yoga, musicquizzes, sining, etc.

When visiting Daycare Center Christianehøj

Dressed to impress! Mary dazzled wearing her bright red Dolce & Gabbana dress. Wonderful for celebrating both the opening of "Children Need Arts - Global Summit" and the 50th anniversary of Daycare Center Christianehøj.

She matched the beautiful dress with magnificent suedes red reused pumps from Gianvito Rossi. One time, she wore them on a business trip in Vietnam (here).

The delicate and elegant necklaces are from Halberstadt and Julie Sandlau. Necklaces I imagine means of great deal to her. She has worn them a lot lately.

Maybe you saw her brooch? The stunning piece was identified as Marni. I truly hope for a close-up one day. At first I thought her brooch was new, but somehow I think she has worn it before at a Christmas church service in 2016 (here) and when visiting the Jorn Museum in 2017 (here). Love when she is wearing brooches. They are my favorite piece of jewellery. That is why I really adore, when Mary is wearing brooches because it (hopefully) inspire more of us to wear these fine pieces.

Meeting with the US ambassador in Denmark

10 March 2023

His Excellency Alan Leventhal had invited Crown Princess Mary to visit ham at his residence Rydhave to discuss (among others) the activities of Crown Princess Mary Center at University of Copenhagen.

Alan Leventhal is the US ambassador in Denmark.

Former chancellor of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Dr Rafael Reif also participated the meeting along with the center manager of the Crown Princess Mary Center Simon Kjær Hansen. Representatives from the university also participated the meeting.

Mary is truly wearing some pretty amazing outfits these days. Don't you think? I really missed her wearing this bright blue set from Gucci. It goes back to 2013, when she attended the presentation of the Carlsberg Foundation's Research Awards at Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek (here). Mary has worn the set twice. Also in 2017 at the Danish Swimming Award (here).

I really love how she wore the Gucci set in a more simple way. With only a few pieces of accessories. If you take a close look - a very close look. You will see that Mary accessorized her outfit with diamond earrings shaped as flowers once purchased at an Bruun Rasmussen auction.

Her OUTSTANDING shimmery lace pumps are masterpieces from Dolce & Gabbana. Mary first flashed them at the premiere of the Nutcracker in November 2022 (here).

For this years award show, Mary had chosen a really lovely outfit. A bit more plain as usual, but why make it more complicated than necessary? She has worn both the Red Valentino blouse and Dolce & Gabbana skirt before. Actually also as a complete set. It was when visiting London late last year (here). The Prada coat has been in her wardrobe for years. I have no count on how many times Mary has worn it, but it is more than at 25 occasions.

A closer look revealed to me that Mary embraced the simple style with yellow and white diamond earrings. I have never been able to identify them. Many one day. Back in the days, she adore this combination of rings. Two diamond bands from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen and that other stunning diamond ring. Also never identified.

To match the rest of her outfits, she was wearing a beloved black leather clutch from Quidam and brand new suede pointed pumps from Jimmy Choo. Recognizing designers of her black pointed pumps collection is already a struggle for me and now she added just another pair. Truly a nightmare. But what do you think? Is she a winner?

Repremiere of "The Nutcracker"

26 November 2022

Once again, Queen Margrethe shares her creative talent with all os us. She has worked as scenographer os the repremiere of "The Nutcracker". She also designed costumes for the play.

The Queen was accompanied by Queen Sonja of Norway at the premiere, which took place in Tivoli's Concert Hall. Crown Prince Frederik, Crown Princess Mary, Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine also joined the premiere of this very special Christmas ballet.

All of them were smiles and happy faces at the arrival. Queen Margrethe was truly a star on a clear sky at night. It is know that the Queen is a fan of ballet. Imagine getting the chance to work with such talented ballet dancers if it is a passion of yours.

The Crown Prince family also looked very proud of their mother, mother-in-law and grandmother. I am thrilled to see the four of them together. I imagine them having a wonderful and magical evening.

"The Nutcracker" has it's premiere for the fifth time in Tivoli.

"Biodiversity is good business"

17th November 2022

Some years ago, Crown Princess Mary entitled President of WWF World Wild Fund for Nature. A job, which she "inherited" from her belated father-in-law, Prince Henrik. Since then, the Crown Princess has been committed to fulfill the foundation's vision and mission to fight for nature around the world.

Especially, biodiversity has been on the agenda since Crown Prince Mary become President of the WWF World Wild Fund for Nature. Biodiversity was also on the agenda for the "Biodiversity is good business"-conference.

The conference took place at Industriens Hus in Copenhagen. Several different companies and organizations were gathered to participate the conference, which was organized by  WWF World Wild Fund for Nature and Brain & Company, to learn more about the latest knowledge in field of biodiversity and lose of nature.

Crown Princess Mary also gave a speech at the conference (here).

When arriving at Danish Industry, where the conference took place

Participating the "Biodiversity is good business"-conference at Industriens Hus, Mary dazzled in a year-old Dolce & Gabbana suit. Did you know that she first wore this suit at a business promotion visit in London in 2004 (here)? Imagine still be able to fit clothes that old. I am not one of those people. She matched it with a simple black turtleneck and a black leather belt.

Mary embraced the style with a perfectly made ponytail. Love it, when she top of an outfit like this. The stunning diamond earrings are still unknown to me and her rings I cannot identify with the photos we have.

Maybe you recognize her navy blue leather bag? It is from Prada and has been in her wardrobe for quite a few years now. The same goes with those black suede Gianvito Rossi boots. I am not a huge fan of the boots, but Mary seems to love them.

... and of course. Her glasses. They are brand new and still to be identified. I cannot wait to get a better look at them, because I think they look sooooooo good on her!

Presidum meeting with WWF

28 October 2022

It has only been two years since the Crown Princess become President of WWF World Wild Fund for Nature after her late father-in-law, Prince Henrik. Within this short periode of time, she has already managed to set her mark on their work with, along others, biodiversity in both Denmark and abroad.

On Friday, Crown Princess Mary participated WWF World Wild Fund for Nature's annual presidum meeting. Along with all the other board members, she was given an inside in the condition and challenges of the Danish waters and the WWF World Wildlife Fund for Nature's projects in Ecuador.

At the board member meeting with the Presidum of WWF World Wild Fund for Nature, Mary had chosen a more colour-mixed outfit than we have seen for quite a while. I learned about the new green blazer from Heaven. She managed to identify it as ZARA. Who want a similar green blazer in their wardrobe? Rise your hands. Imagine how many incredible outfits we are going to see with that blazer. I cannot wait. Mary matched it with a simple black blouse and reused grey Celine trousers.

Among others, she wore the trousers, when visiting Roskilde Gymnasium in November 2020 (here) and when the Crown Prince Couple met with the President of the European Court of Human Rights Róbert Spanó in 2021 (here).

We get a glimpse of some emerald green and diamond earrings, which I have come to believe is custom-made by Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen (here). She was also wearing one of her beloved golden bangles.

If you take a closer look, you will see a black Dolce & Gabbana leather tote next to her. A "good old" classics. The same goes with those black rivet pumps from Valentino. I am not quite sure this has become my favourite outfit this year, but it differently has potential.

Business promotion visit in Norway

HIKING IN STAVANGER

The Crown Princess was about to attend a business conference in Oslo, Norway on June 10th. She arrived one day earlier and spend the time making a dream come true: hiking in Stavanger. Crown Princess Mary visited Preikestolen. It is a mountain plateau a wonderful nature. A perfect start for the following days conference.

In her social media post, Crown Princess Mary also expressed her sincere love for nature. How important it is that we take good care of it and do what we can to find as many sustainable solutions as possible.

Mary shared a little something from her hike at Preikestolen in Stavanger. We get a glimpse of her wearing a navy blue down-jacket and a few blouses to keep warm on her trip. I was able to identify on of the. It is from Under Armor. The model is pretty cool because it can be a bit more personal than their usual  blouses. This one can be personalized with a few words. It makes me wonder if it could be a gift (maybe from her children), who customized a blouse for her.

BUSINESS CONFERENCE

Crown Princess Mary arrived one day earlier. She spend the day in Stavanger visiting Preikestolen. On June 10th, she accompanied Crown Prince Haakon and his wife Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway at the business conference "The green, sustainable and climate-safe cities of the future". The conference took place at Oslo City Hall.

The conference was centered around the central role of cities in achieving the UN climate goals. Crown Princess Mary mentioned that in her opening speech too. She also made it clear that both Norway and Denmark har creative, innovative, ressources and capacity to lead the way to a more green and sustainable future.

Later on, the Crown Princess attended the conference "The robust healthcare system of the future in Norway and Denmark". It took place in Oslo Science City. Multiple representative from companies, students and professionals also participated the conference. Crown Princess Mary got the opportunity to speak to several of the Danish companies participating the conference.

Mary has always been a worldclass champion in wearing old clothes in a new way. She proved that one more time by wearing this white dotted Prada dress. It was first worn in 2021 in Paris (here). The model makes the very best out of her slim silhouette. The golden buttons are a great detail to a simple dress like this.

She embraced the light style with alle nude and golden accessories. The nude python pumps from Gianvito Rossi are an old-time favourite of hers. Mary has worn them (almost) a million time over the years. I wouldn't mind them in my wardrobe. Note, Gianvito Rossi shoes are super comfortable to wear, so I get why she loves them. The reused Chanel handbag is a classy and good-looking match to the rest of her outfit.

As jewellery, Mary had chosen a pair of brand new earrings created by Dulong Fine Jewelry, two rings and a golden bracelet from the same designer. I also see a diamond bracelet from Ole Lynggaard and (believe it or not) an all new golden bangle. It features the most amazing colourful stones. To me it looks like something inherited or perhaps purchased on auction.

OFFICIAL DINNER AT NASJONALMUSEUM

It had already been a wonderful day in Oslo. In the evening, the Crown Princess accompanied Queen Sonja, Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit at the official dinner marking the grand opening of Norway's new National Museum - the Nasjonalmuseum. It is the largest art museum in the Nordic countries with all its international art, design and architecture.

The three of them first visited part of an exhibition. Some of Queen Sonja and Queen Maud's dressed are on display. Then a fine dinner followed. This was the perfect ending on her business promotion visit in Norway.

Of course we understand why the world has gone crazy about Mary's (and Crown Princess Mette-Marit's) evening outfit. They both look absolutely splendid at the gala dinner. Mary wore her old custom-made Søren Le Schmidt evening gown. She embraced it beautifully with a red stone belt from Dolce & Gabbana. Something I would never have though would look good - but it does! Don't you think?

Once again, she managed to accessories her stunning look with great jewellery. Her hairdo revealed beauties created by Rebekka Notkin. She is also the designer of two of Mary's amazing bracelets. We get a glimpse of an Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen bangle as well. Mary wore that earlier on her visit. Dulong Fine Jewelry is the brand behind her huge diamond ring.

I am sure you all noticed the iconic Bottega Veneta clutch. It has been part of her wardrobe for years and it still looks perfect. The smashing golden pointed Manolo Blahnik pumps are also a really wonderful match with the golden jewellery.
