The Carlsberg Foundation Research Awards 2016

Sunday, September 25th

Crown Princess Mary attended the presentation of the Carlsberg Foundation Research Awards 2016 followed by a dinner. Both events took place at Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek in Copenhagen.

This is not the first time Crown Princess Mary attends the presentation of the Carlsberg Foundation Research Awards - and hopefully not the last. She was welcomed with flowers and handshakes. Shortly after the arrival she attended a dinner on occasion of the ceremony followed by the presentation of two awards, which were given to a scientific and a social science researcher. Along with the honor the winners are given DKK 1 million for further research. Tobias Holck and Morten Broberg are this years winner of the Carlsberg Foundation Research Awards. Congratulations to  both of them.

2016 was a bit more special because the presentation actually took place on Carlsberg Foundation's 140th anniversary. All of this celebration took place at Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek in Copenhagen as previously. So this is how Crown Princess Mary spend her Sunday afternoon - as guest of honor at a award ceremony.

... and she strikes again. In a floral vintage inspired Marc Jacobs dress. Yellow roses is not some of my favourite, but I think I have to rethink that state of mind, at least when it comes to yellow roses as print on a dress. Lately, Mary surprised me quite a lot with what she has been wearing and this one was no excuse. Smashing shape that embraces her figure beautifully. B., Heaven and Kate told me about her new dress. The black details on the skirt makes me think of a cartoon dress (nothing bad about that). What was your first impression?

Matching the yellow theme Mary had chosen a pair of new Jewlscph earrings, here, found by Kate and her Børge Niels Knudsen vintage cuff featuring a huge diamond shaped yellow citrine. And of course the golden Cartier bracelet. Paring the outfit with shiny black Gianvito Rossi pumps and a black Sergio Rossi clutch.

Really love how dramatic her eye makeup is. She looks like a summer sunset. I wonder how this dress would look with a pair of golden or maybe even silver glitter pumps?

When I first discovered her attendance at the Design Awards 2016 I have really been looking forward to the 22nd of September. Now, working with design almost everyday this award show has been so interesting to watch. Great to see who would win and the nominated designs. For Crown Princess Mary to attend the show just makes it ten times better. Two of my favourite things gathered at one event.

It is the interior magazines BO BEDRE, Bolig Magasinet and Costume Living who hosted the show in Folketeateret in downtown Copenhagen. At the arrival, as guest of honor, she was warmly welcomed and guided to her seat from where she later entered the stage presenting 'Designer of the Year'. The award was then given to the company Norm Architects, here. Congratulations with the award.

This is the first time Crown Princess Mary is present at the award show, but it seems like she had a wonderful evening with much to celebrate.

These days Mary keeps impressing and surprising me with her outfits. First thing I noticed is that it seems like she enjoys wearing lots of prints lately. Am I the only one noticed that? Nothing bad. I love it. Think it's great she teaches us to wear prints and patterns more often. More important how to wear them. This new black printed maxi dress can only be described with one word: edgy.

Without looking overdressed she accessorized the new Alice+Olivia maxi dress with golden earrings from Dulong Fine Jewelry featuring plenty of diamonds and a brand new Georg Jensen collier. It was at Royals & Fashion I found out about her dress. Actually I think it's the first time we see Mary in their design. I often wondered if we would ever see her in one of their creations and now we have. Reminds me a lot of her Etro gown, especially because of the print.

Perfectly matching the dress she had chosen a bright blue Prada clutch and a few bracelets from among others Cartier. She also dazzled in a pair of new black sandals which was, also, identified by Royals & Fashion as Aquarzzura. I'd never heard of Aquarzzura before, but I have already fallen in love with their shoes. This model was made in collaboration by Aquarzzura and Poppy Delevingne -therefor Aquarzzura x Poppy Delevingne

I also noticed her wearing some kind of dusty lilac nail polish. Even though I had hoped for some kind of glamours updo, this will do. Lovely curls.

Day 3. United Nations' General Assembly in New York

Wednesday, September 21st

As member of the United Nations Population Fund Crown Princess Mary is in New York from September 19-21st to attend the United Nations' General Assembly (UNGA).

This her third and last day in New York. Since Monday 19th Crown Princess has been in New York. As member of the UN's population Fund she attended the United Nations' General Assembly abbreviated to UNGA.

From early morning the Crown Princess was on the go. First she attended Deliver for Good: Investments in Girls and Women to Achieve the SGSs, where she gave a speech and was highly committed to the panel discussion. The meeting was followed by a visit to the Great Northern Food Hall couple of hours later. The Great Northern Food Hall opened in June 2016 aiming to promote northern food in New York and comes as idea from chef Claus Meyer. She attended the Great Northern Food Hall along with Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen and Claus Meyer himself. Judging from their smiles it seems like it was a great experience for all of them.

Two pieces of clothes I never get tired of. The white v-neck blouse and full floral skirt embraces her figure beautifully. We have seen both the Hugo Boss blouse and Dolce & Gabbana skirt before, even together at a visit to Africa. I believe it was in 2015. Sure you remember it more precise than I do. I have never been good at floral printed skirt, but since Mary wore this the first time I've been in love with them. Can't get enough of them now. So I'm thrilled she's wearing it again.

Her outfit was styled with a new necklace and a pair of golden hoop earrings from Dulong Fine Jewelry featuring lots of sparkly diamonds. About the necklace then I haven't been able to get a good view because the lack a good pictures. Doesn't look like something she usually wears. Think I see a ring on her right hand as well, but I can't identify which one it is.

Of course she was wearing shoes as well, but I only get a short glimpse. According to Royal & Fashion, Mary wore a pair of new Gianvito Rossi pumps and I think she has found exactly the right model. pair she was wearing. But take a closer look and let me know what you think.

Day 2. United Nations' General Assembly in New York

Tuesday, September 20th

Crown Princess Mary is in New York from September 19-21st to attend the United Nations' General Assembly (UNGA).

Along with both young leaders, representatives from among others governments, the private sector and academia, the Crown Princess attended a morning meal at 7:15 am local time that gave all of them the opportunity to exchange experiences and knowledge, which was the main reason why they were all gathered over a common meal.

With paper and pen she attended a meeting with High Level Task Force for ICPD, which she is also member of and has been since 2012. In the afternoon it was time for her to participate the Stakeholder Commitments to Safeguard Maternal Helath During Humanitarin Crises: Presentation of the 'Safe Birth Even Here' Campaign as patron of UNFPA where she gave a speech. At this meeting she was sitting next to the Executive Director of the United Nations Population Fund, Dr. Babatunde Osotimehin, whom she also met with after the meeting.

It was at a reception at 5:30 pm local time she attended Tuesday's final event. I bet such conferences is worth a lot for attendances as the Crown Princess and of course all the other representatives taking part in some of the events in New York.

I doubt I have to say that of course the cause of matter is way more important than Mary's new dress. To make sure, I want you to know that her committment is worth much more than what she's wearing. Most were dressed in classy black blazers - white and grey. Simple, minimalistic colours, much use by Scandinavian women. Not Mary. She radiated in a brand new bright red dress.  Featuring a print I had a hard time figuring out where to find it. First I thought about exotic birds. What was your first thought? It was at Royals & Fashion, here, that I learned it is from BA&SH. A brand she has worn once before. Really interesting print. The more I look at it I think it looks like flowers. What a strong dress to wear at a conference like this.

Would love to see what shoes she wore, but I have not been able to find a photo that shows them. It was with jewellery from Dulong Fine Jewelry and Cartier she styled her outfit. Oh... and of course the stunning beige (maybe even nude) leather bag from Prada. A strong, though quite casual look on her second day in New York.

Three busy days were ahead of Crown Princess Mary, when Monday arrived to New York to attend United Nations' General Assembly. She is accompanied by Minister of Foreign Affairs, Kristian Jensen. They were both guests of honor to attend a reception with Women Deliver in the evening. Here they attended the launch of a new campaign entitled ''Deliver for Good' focusing on girls and women's rights and health.

According to Billed Bladet, hundred ideas and solutions from the Women Deliver conference, hosted by Denmark couple of months ago, were presented at the reception. Crown Princess Mary is present at several meetings and other activities during the three days in New York.

The Crown Princess is not the only royal family member attending. Also Crown Princess Victoria and Princess Madeleine of Sweden, King Abdullah and Queen Rania of Jordan, King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain are attending the UNGA.

It was more of a private reception she attended in the evening. Only a few picture have been published, which makes it way more complicated to identify what she was wearing representing Denmark in New York. What I see is a brand new striped skirt and a sleeveless black blouse. Heaven shared her thoughts with me on the new skirt and I decided to mail Designers Remix to ask about Mary's new skirt. It was indeed a Designers Remix skirt, although not from a current season where it's pink and metallic blue, here, here. Think she is wearing a thin black belt to embrace her waistline. About the blouse. Well I have no designer yet, but I am pretty sure it is the same as the one she wore attending the INDEX: Award 2015, here. What do you say? - is it the same? To me they look quite similar.

No photos showing her feet, so unfortunately I can't tell you anything about her shoes. My guess would we a pair of black pointed pumps, maybe from SAND Copenhagen or Gianvito Rossi. This time I'm only able to identify two bracelets. They are from Dulong Fine Jewelry and Cartier. Am I just the only one or would you love to have you own Love Bracelet from Cartier? When looking at her earrings I think it could be a pair of golden earrings from Dulong Fine Jewelry, here. Great way to start a three days visit.

Inauguration of a new school in Aabybro

Crown Princess Mary attended the inauguration of a new school in Aabybro near Aalborg.

It is not every day a new school is about to be inaugurated and then we have had two the last month. Of course it has to be celebrated in a special way, which was done by inviting none other than Crown Princess Mary. Truly a day of celebration.

Arriving to Aabybro school the Crown Princess was welcomed by among others the city mayor, school director and the flower girl was a flower boy - the student council president. On her way to visit the different departments at the new school she said hi to some of all the attendees children, who seemed very happy to meet the Crown Princess.

She officially opened the new school with a fine speech and by revealing a painting, made for occasion. Her speech was followed by meeting some of the children who, from now on, are spending their everyday at Aabybro school.

Seems like Mary got some kind of "dress-code" when attending inaugurations of new schools because what she was wearing at the inauguration in Aabybro was very similar to what she wore on September 3rd while attending the inauguration of Frederiksberg school, here. You see the similarity?

Always been a fan of these full midi skirts and she wears them so beautifully. This time Mary wore one featuring the most wonderful birds print from Andiata (collection: AW2015). I know about the skirt from a sweet and helpful reader who also told me that it is also available as a dress, here. But the skirt isn't the only new thing because the white blouse featuring those lovely ruffle sleeves is also new. I learned from Kate that Mary's new blouse is from Prada. So to you who would like a similar blouse, you have the opportunity no matter how much money you want to spend on it. The belt has been identified as Gucci.

Makes a great outfit. Especially matched with the Gianvito Rossi pumps. Love how shoes and the print on her skirt matches in colour. Elegant is the word crossing my mind when looking at her outfit. Also how Mary styled it with bracelets from Cartier and Dulong Fine Jewelry, Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen rings and a pair of Dulong Fine Jewelry earrings. Looking splendid Mary had chosen a rather simple hairstyle. A ponytail. But really; she rock any kind of hairstyle no matter how simple it is.

A 50th anniversary in Copenhagen

Wednesday, September 14th

Crown Princess Mary attended the 50th anniversary celebration of the day centre Strødammens in Copenhagen.

Frederiketmary.centerblog.net

It was a very special day. A day of celebration. Crown Princess Mary arrived to the Strødammen Day Centre  in Copenhagen. They celebrated their 50th anniversary and the Crown Princess was attending as guest of honor. The Strødammen's Day Centre is for adults with brain injuries as a result of for instance a stroke or a heart attack.

She arrived in a great mood and was welcomed with a beautiful bouquet of flowers and lots of smiles. Crown Princess was then given a guided tour around the facility, where she took plenty of time to meet the people living there. They proudly showed her what they had created as a daily activity. The pictures melted my heart like a piece of ice on a hot summer day. Instantly. Not hard to imagine how much a visit like this means to everyone attending. If the smile on Crown Princess Mary's face was reciprocated by just a few, I think the mission was accomplished. I get the impression that she really enjoyed her day at the Stødammen's Day Centre.

She radiated in the most dazzling new dress featuring a mint blue colour. Fabulous. At Daily Mail I read that her new Signe Bøgelund-Jensen dress is pale grey, but to me it looks nothing but grey. What do you think? No matter what colour is it, I am crazy in love with the dress. Every feature looks splendid. Embraces her figure beautifully.

Amazing how she styled her outfit with a pair of pointed from Gianvito Rossi, which seems to be one of her favourite shoes at the moment. Think it's third or fourth time we have seen them the last couple of weeks. But you do not hear me complain. Gianvito Rossi has won my heart with his incredible classy designs. As the pumps have we seen her wear those green earrings before such as the couple of bracelets from Dulong Fine Jewelry and Cartier. Adore the contrast between her dark hair and colours of her outfit. Makes her look so summery.

One of the last things I want you to notice is the ring on her right hand. It features a rather large aquamarine blue square stone. To me it looks new. Smashing. What always overwhelms me about Mary's outfits, is how every little detail makes the outfit complete. Every piece of jewellery are exquisite.

Day 2. The 66th Session of the WHO Regional Committee for Europe

Tuesday, September 13th

Crown Princess Mary attended a reception in the Opera House on occasion of The 66th Session of the WHO Regional Committee for Europe in Copenhagen. The Crown Princess was attending as patron of the WHO Regional Office for Europe.

Representatives from 53 different countries around the world have been gathered in Copenhagen to participate in The 66th Session of the WHO Regional Committee for Europe meeting. Crown Princess Mary has, as patron of WHO Regional Office for Europe, also been present on September 12th. Among others she was the one to officially open the conference with a speech.

To proper way end two great days everybody were invited to a reception taking place in the Opera located at Holmens channel. On the other side of the channel we have Amalienborg castle where the Crown Prince couple and their four children live in Frederik VIII's palace, right next to the Queen and her husband. The location gave Crown Princess Mary the opportunity to arrive by boat. As anywhere else she goes, she caught everybody's attention on each side of the channel.

Glamorously she both entered and got off the boat again. No doubt that it was a great evening. Leaving later in the evening Crown Princess Mary captured the atmosphere from the Opera house in a photo posted on the royal houses Instagram. Just love that we get these photos taken by and of the royal family members.

I truly understand why she caught so much attention. Not only because she is Mary (Crown Princess of Denmark) but because of what she was wearing. Sometimes I wish I lived near by to get a glimpse of her. Unfortunately I don't.

Not to boast, but the first time she wore this beauty of a dress I was actually able to identify it, although she had never worn anything from Zimmermann before. Had the impression that it was adored by almost everyone. The dress still amazes me. Love how it moves when she walks. Think she was wearing the same thin belt as the first time. A thing I haven't been able to find, but I do not believe the dress comes with a belt.

Dressed up with a pair of powder pink Gianvito Rossi pointed pumps and a few other jewellery from among others Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen I find her look very nice. Great how she manages to wear something like snake print this classy. She knows how to make it look chic and elegant without looking over-dressed at all. Lovely detail with the blue pendant in the earrings. Would really like to hear what you have to say about this one; go or no go? I think it's either an outfit you really like or just dislike.

Day 1. The 66th Session of the WHO Regional Committee for Europe

Monday, September 12th

Crown Princess Mary attended The 66th Session of the WHO Regional Committee for Europe from September 12-13th in the UN office in Copenhagen. In the evening she was present at a reception at Louisiana Art Museum.

Crown Princess Mary attending the 66th session of the WHO Regional Committee for Europe

It was as patron of the WHO Regional Office for Europe she arrived in a great mood to attend the 66th Session of the WHO Regional Committee for Europe taking place in the UN office in Copenhagen. Finding her spot on the stage she gave a 10 minutes speech, here. An impressive speech about the importance of girls and women's health and gender equality. A debate she has been involved in for quite a few years now. With her speech Crown Princess Mary was able to point out the important work of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the group of people who were gathered at the session. All to achieve good health for all, at all ages as Crown Princess Mary expressed herself. The Crown Princess was present at a series of meetings and events. Among others she met with representatives from the 53 Member States of the WHO European Region.

I think we have seen quite a few (pretty impressive) work-wear outfits the last couple of days. I know what she has attended required some sort of "business", "lady-like", "work-wear" outfit. Especially on Monday at the 66th Regional Committee for Europe. Nothing ordinary about her outfit, though it was a classy look similar to something we have seen before. It was after reading Daily Mails article, here, I learned about her Hugo Boss outfit. Knowing what to search for I immediately found the skirt but was really troubled trying to identified the new blouse. Then I found a similar one at Hugo Boss as well. Suddenly a picture showed up of a dress. So Mary is in fact wearing a dress (if I had read Daily Mails article better I would have known that right away...). They only provided their readers with the skirt. My readers gets the real deal. Do doubt that we'll see this again, don't you think so?

Seems like Mary likes styling her outfits with beige or nude bags these days, which looks great. This one is from Prada. Both bag and Gianvito Rossi pumps have been seen before on previous occasions.  Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen is the designer of her diamond rings and I believe Hartmann's could be the creator of her earrings.

Does her hair look darker?

Crown Princess Mary attedning a reception at Louisiana Art Museum

Really a shame I haven't been able to find out much about her attendance at the Health- and Elderly Ministries reception at Louisiana Art Museum in Hulmebæk. What I know is that the reception was held on occasion of the World Health Organizations (WHO) regional committee meeting taking place on September 12-13th in Copenhagen.

At the arrival she was warmly welcomed by Health- and Elderly Minister, Sophie Løhde. The two of them have met before a several occasions.  The Health- and Elderly Minister seemed honored to meet the Crown Princess again and of course to welcome her. Crown Princess Mary wasn't the only one attending. Representatives from all over the world participated the meeting of the Regional Committee of WHO during the two days conference.

Sometimes it is difficult to find the difference between art and design. I have been asking myself this question a millions times. I still do not have the answer. Not even after I began a degree on design. The reason why I mention this is because of Mary's Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti dress. An incredible design and its pattern very artistic. Nothing new about it. It's always great to see an old dress again. Tend to think that it is the perfect dress for a reception at an art museum. Don't think we have seen it with such neutral accessories before as the pink patent Gianvito Rossi pumps and satin clutch from Bottega Veneta. Still I admire how on earth she is capable of walking, without falling, in such high heels on cobbles. Unbelievable. Really takes some practice.

Now you might think I have forgot all about her jewellery, of course I haven't. I simply do not know a thing about them. Only that nor bracelet or earrings are new. Both make a great combo with the colourful dress. I only recognize her golden Cartier bangle.

In a splendid mood the Crown Princess arrived to Børsen in Copenhagen to attend the presentation of FSR's Denmark's best CSR reporting 2016. She has attended a couple of times before. The award is given to highlight Danish companies, who work professionally to communicate about their social responsibility in their annual report.

From first raw the Crown Princess first listened to a couple of speeches. Before she herself announced this years two winners, she entered the stage and gave a speech herself with some important points. With flowers and congratulations the A.P. Møller-Mærks won the CSR Award 2016 for larger companies and Danske Spil won the award as a medium-sized company. Congratulations both of them with the prestiges awards. Corporate Social Responsibility has become a very important strategy for many companies and with this award they are rewarded for their hard work which differently pays off.

Like a shining star Mary was dressed in a powder pink Prada dress. I've wanted to see it in years. Think the last time we saw the was when Prince Nikolai was confirmed in 2013. And at that time we really only got a glimpse of it. The dress goes way back. It  features the most incredible details. If you haven't already noticed it then take a look at the white lace detail in the hemline. A really lovely dress.

The way she accessorized her outfit with rose quartz Dulong Fine Jewelry earrings and a pair of pink patent leather pumps from Gianvito Rossi, I have to say that this truly impresses me. An outstanding outfit. I have always loved when clothes and accessories match in colour. This is the perfect example.  The powder pink colour looks beautiful next to Mary's dark brown hair and fair skin. For a moment I  notice her gorgeous makeup Fair skin, glossy lips and dark brown eye makeup, hereComplimenting the rest of look beautifully.

Styled with a beige Naledi Copenhagen clutch, a (rather) expensive golden Cartier bracelet, such as a couple of other Dulong Fine Jewelry bracelets I'm sure you can't be anything else than impressed. A delicate way of dressing for an afternoon in company with some of Denmark's top businesses. Maybe a bit too much for a usual day a work, but of course this wasn't a usual day - at least not for the rest of us.

Charity performance in Bellahøj

Thursday, September 8th

Crown Princess Mary attended, as patron, a charity performance in Bellahøj to support the Kidney Association.

This event is one of those that turn out to be a more private event. Am I the only one with this thought? The way Crown Princess Mary interacted with the children and was all relaxed. Even her outfit supports my claim. We will go back to that a little later.

Surrounded by elephants, clowns and kids everywhere the Crown Princess atteneded a charity performance to support the Kidney Association, here, taking place at Circus Danneborg in Bellahøj. She took part of the event as patron of the association. From every picture I have seen from she really seems to enjoy herself. Such as the kids did. With lots of fun, colourful costumes and impressive tricks; it was all about the children. To give all of them a memorable day. For sure I am not the only one who have seen the incredibly sweet photos of Crown Princess Mary and the three-year-old feeding an elephants, right? Does not get any better.

I really adore Mary's casual look when visiting the circus in Bellahøj. What a great idea to match a bell-shaped blouse with fitted trousers, which by the way are a reused pair from Hugo Boss. If I am correct; Mary share these with Queen Letizia of Spain. The textures is just great. She embraced the old trousers with a brand new blouse. You noticed that, right? Trying to identify this new piece I came across both ZARA and Ganni - as one of you suggested. Non of them worked. Thanks to Kate we now know that her new blouse are from Étoile Isabel Marant. It features some incredible details: the laser cut pattern, the neckline and cuffs. A really lovely blouse. Can not wait to see it again. Maybe with a pencil skirt?

To match the outfit she had chosen to wear blue accessories. The blue suede wedges have troubled me for years. I have come to the conclusion that L.K. Bennet designed them. The bluish clutch is from Jerome Dreyfuss. Very pleased to see this again, here. Blue looks just great with the trousers and new white blouse. Other than this Mary embraced the style with several bracelets from, among others, Dulong Fine Jewelry and Cartier. An all good-looking Crown Princess in Bellahøj.

SRHR's 10th anniversary

Wednesday, September 7th

Crown Princess Mary attended as guest of honor the 10th anniversary of the Parliamentary Intergroup Network for SRHR - Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights, here.

Kongehuset.dk 1

It was as guest of honor the Crown Princess attended the 10th anniversary celebration of the Parliamentary Intergroup Network for SRHR -Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights, which took place at Snapstinget at Christiansborg castle

The network was established in 2006 to ensure a continuous and nonpartisan focus on sexual- and reproductive health and rights both in Denmark and abroad. Both current and former members  were gathered at the reception.

Crown Princess Mary was in a splendid mood. All relaxed. After a couple of speeches, a little to both drink and eat the anniversary was celebrated in an innovative way with a quiz on intergroup network and human rights. Love that the Crown Princess happily participated the game. The winning team was given a bouquet of flowers - no the winning team was not hers. Seems like the quiz was a great way to talk about the essence; the work of SRHR. Seems like the Crown Princess was enjoying herself.

Usually, September is the time we start wearing trousers, light sweaters and tights because of the weather but from one second to another the late summer returned to Denmark and it's just amazing. Summer and sun means a few more days with floral printed dresses and skirts.

The splendid weather may be a reason why Mary was dressed in white from head to toe. I have always loved how she manages to wear regular legged trousers. Makes her look taller and matched with the rather bohemian looking blouse. The blouse is from Rebecca Taylor. A very beautiful blouse featuring incredible embroidery.

Embracing the bohemian look she wore a few bracelets on each wrist from both Cartier and Dulong Fine Jewelry - the same designer who created the rose quartz earrings. Mary chose to style her plain white outfit was with a pair of snake print pointed pumps from Gianvito Rossi. Don't know if you noticed it but at the arrival she wore some kind of clutch and I believe it could be her Naledi Copenhagen clutch. Let me know what you think.

Words to describe what I see would be pleasent, delicate and casual - yet polished.

September 5th was an emotional day. Also for the Crown Prince couple and everyone else attending. It was a day of memories and reflection. Flag Day is a day of honor for deployed military personnel, veterans and those lost in combat. Several activities took place in Copenhagen on occasion of this very special day.

The Crown Prince couple attending both the parade at Parliament Square, the church service in Holmen's Church and showing their honor by placing a wreath a Kastellet. It has now become an annual event to attend for the couple. It is a day of both sadness and hope. For relatives I think it is a great deal the Crown Prince couple is attending. They showed sympathy and respect to families and friends as well as deployed military personnel.

Prime Minister, Lars Løkke Rasmussen also showed his respect at the Flag Day, as well as several other politicians. People all over Denmark also attended activities on occasion of the honoring.

Paying his respect on such as special day the Crown Prince was dressed in a black uniform and Mary was wearing matching colours; a black and white Ralph Lauren dress along with an old black belted jacket, which I have never been able to identify. The belt is an old one I have found a fashion designer Céline quite a long time ago. Styling the black/white outfit with beige accessories she had created a classy and polished look.

Both dress, shoes and straw hat so much reminds me of a late 50s outfit. I do not know if I ever managed to confirmed that her hat is a Susanne Juul creation, but the design is much like hers. Everything, except the clutch, has been seen at previous events. Talking about the clutch then I'm still trying to find out more. The first name that crossed my mine (and yours as well) was Anya Hindmarch. Let me know what you have found or your ideas.

Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen is the creator of her two diamond rings that are beautifully decorating her ring finger. She also embraced the style by wearing diamond earrings which I strongly believe is from Hartmann's. Indicated by the red soles, you already know that the pumps are from Christian Louboutin. Non of you need further information, right? Only changing gloves (from beige to black) Mary spend her day along with her husband honoring the hero's from Denmark.

Day 2: With the Mary Foundation to Greenland

Tuesday, August 30th

Crown Princess Mary has traveled to Greenland with the Mary Foundation on occasion of the conference Domestic Violence - A Shared Responsibility. The visit take place from August 29-31st.

The main reason why the Crown Princess visited Greenland, along the Mary Foundation, was to attend the conference Domestic violence - A Shared Responsibility on domestic violence taking place in Nuuk. The conference is an outcome of a collaboration between the Mary Foundation and Kattunneq. More than 50% of adult women in Greenland have, at some point, been exposed to violence and more than a quarter of the Greenlandic children have experienced their mother being exposed to violence according to the Mary Foundation. This statistic makes it highly important to focus on.

When opening the conference with a speech, here, she caught everybody's attention. During the day in Nuuk Crown Princess Mary got the chance to speak to some of those who have experienced domestic violence on their own body. The Crown Princess expressed how impressed she was of all the women for their courage to come clean and tell their stories regardless of it being a taboo. "Break the silence" is what is essential and is something the Mary Foundation use as guideline.

I'm sure this was an great experience for all of the participants including the guest of honor herself. She even share a little something from her trip with the rest of us, here.

What is most important about this trip is by no doubt the message: to "break the silence". Strong words takes a strong and powerful outfit. At the arrival Mary showed up wearing her Jesper Høvring (collection: Great Greenland AW2016) coat. We have already seen her in this piece during her stay in Greenland. Entering the stage to give her speech, she reviled one of her classy Hugo Boss dresses. A navy blue one featuring a little peplum. A killer outfit. Really a great look to wear at a conference with an important message. I learned about the dress at Royals and Fashion, here.

Mary embraced the style by wearing bracelets from both Dulong Fine Jewelry and Cartier. Amazing pieces. She also wore white pearl earrings from Dulong Fine Jewelry as well, such as a dazzling Ralph Lauren tote. For some time I have been in love with this handbag. I know I'll never in a million year be able to purchase one myself but a girl is allowed to dream, right? The same goes with that incredible snake skin pumps from Christian Louboutin. With this outfit I think she managed to dress perfectly for the occasion and enchant us all with her charme.

Crown Princess Mary arriving to Nuuk

From August 29-31st the Crown Princess was visiting Greenland as chairwoman of the Mary Foundation to see for herself how, among others, a Greenlandic day care center work with 'the Free of Bullying-program'. She was also attending a conference on domestic violence - a problematic issue in Greenland. The conference took place the following day. On her way to Greenland the royal family published a video of the Crown Princess. Here she talks about commitment to the conference and about her expectations prier to the visit. She arrived along with CEO of the Mary Foundation, Helle Østergaard.

At the arrival Mary wore a brand new coat. At first I was sure it was a gift on behalf of her visit. Then I learned that it is in fact a creation made by by Danish Jesper Høvring. It is from his collection 'Great Greenland' (collection: AW 2016). I have the information about her new coat made of sealskin at Royals & Fashion, here. This is how to keep warm and stay fashionable at the same time. Other than this incredible new coat, she was wearing a purple blouse (one I think we have seen before a couple of years ago) and a pair of black trousers. She styled this rather simple look with a brown Ralph Lauren bag, a long golden necklace and a pair of sunglasses. Her necklace could be from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. I don't see her shoes. My guess would be ankle boots or black pumps. A great travel outfit.

Crown Princess Mary visited day care center 'Sikkersoq'

In Nuuk around noon Crown Princess Mary was welcome by children dressed in traditional Greenlandic national costumes. They all caught her attention. Along with the Mary Foundation's mascot, a purple teddy bear, the Crown Princess seemed to enjoy her day as much as all the children. Despite their young age, the children loved hers and was center of attention from the second she arrived. The successful visit was followed by a meeting with Department of Family, Gender Equality, Social Affairs and Justice. A great way for her to get an impression of the situation before attending a conference on the topic the following day.

Shortly after arriving to Nuuk the Crown Princess quickly changed clothes. Now she was ready to begin her first day in Greenland. I have no idea how the weather is in Nuuk but I was surprised to see Mary wearing a short sleeved blouse when everybody else were covering themselves in warm coats. Guess it is because she only spend very little time outside. Dressed in a brand new shirt from Hugo Boss (thanks to Royals & Fashion for the info) and a black short sleeved turtleneck, her outfit has a 60s vibe that always looks incredible. Two piece of clothes you can style in so many different ways. Mary matched the looks with black SAND Copenhagen pumps, quite a few bracelets from among others Cartier and Dulong Fine Jewelry, such a pair of diamonds studs - probably from Hartmann's.  Think her new necklace could be a gift.
At all time my eyes are drawn to her hair. That length looks just great on her. Can't wait to see some more elegant hairstyles like the one at the 825th anniversary in Glostrup, here. Think this outfit would do perfectly with a leather jacket for a night out or maybe a pair of flats at work. So many ways to create new looks.

Crown Princess Mary attended a meeting with the Departement and dinner in Hans Egedes House, Nuuk

After visiting Sikkersoq in Nuuk it was time for the Crown Princess to attend a meeting with the Greenlandic Departement. The department is an important collaborator of the Mary Foundations when working with Greenland. At the arrival she was warmly welcomed by Minister of Family, Gender Equality, Social Affairs and Justice, Martha Lund Olsen and Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Church, Nivi Olsen. All three women were in a splendid mood. I am sure they had plenty of time to share experiences and knowledge that can be helpful to all of them. The meeting was followed by at visit at a local shelter, also in Nuuk, where the Crown Princess spoke with both residents and employees. Around seven o'clock it was time for a dinner which took place at Hans Egedes House.

Am I the only one who would have loved to see her outfit without the coat? Thought it's really stunning. That golden Ganni dress is just incredible and looks great on her. I got it in my own closet. In reality it looks even more magnificent. An amazing dress that can cause a stir at all times. Would love to have seen how she wore it this time. But there is no doubt in my mind that it is in fact that dress she is wearing. Wonderful. The coat you already know all about - it is from Jesper Høvring (collection: Great Greenland AW 2016). Her dark grey Naledi Copenhagen clutch is not the perfect match next to her golden dress, but it do great with the sealskin coat. Match made in heaven? Again I spotted a golden Cartier bracelet such as several pieces from Dulong Fine Jewelry. Is she wearing earrings too? - yes, but the pictures are blurred and I can't tell anything more. Oh, of course I almost forgot mentioning the dazzling black Gianvito Rossi pointed pumps. I wouldn't mind having my own pair of Rossi pumps.
