Day 3. A visit to Bangladesh

27 April

Crown Princess Mary has been in Bangladesh on a three-day visit along with the Danish Minister of Development Flemming Møller Mortensen as "representatives" for Denmark. The visit is all about climate changes and how to work with them.

On their third (and last day), the two of them visit the area of Sundarban, which is the largest mangrove ecosystem in the world. It has given space for hundreds of different species. It created a natural environment to discuss biodiversity and nature-based solutions to the massive climate changes.

On her third and last day in Bangladesh visiting the Sundarban area, Mary showed up in an old printed blouse from Heartmade Julie Fagerholt. She matched the fine pink blouse with 7 For All Mankind trousers in a beautiful green colour. UFO No More identified her new trousers.

The green Cavalleria Toscana cap was great to keep the sun on a distance, just like the Ray Ban sunglasses. Kknekki is the name behind her hairband. Once again, Mary wore her golden Orit Elhanati necklace and Arc'Teryx hiking-boots.

Day 2. A visit to Bangladesh

26 April

Crown Princess Mary has traveled to Bangladesh. The visit focuses on nature-based solutions and biodiversity. The Crown Princess is accompanied by the Danish Minister of Development, Flemming Møller Mortensen.

On their second day in Bangladesh, the two of them travelled south to the Cox's Bazar district. It was once a national park, but now it works as a "shelter" for around 900,000 Rohingya-refugees. This has created a massive pressure on already small natural resources. The Cox's Bazar district is also often hit by among others floods and monsoons. These climate changes increases the importance of more sustainable sultions for both man and nature.

Mary had chosen a relaxed and comfortable outfit on her second day in Bangladesh, when visiting the Cox's Bazar district. She matched a blue button-down blouse with light brown trousers. It is indeed likely that we have seen both blouse and trousers before, but at the moment, I cannot tell when or where.

She protected her eyes with a lovely new hat from Deborah Hutton and sunglasses from Ray Ban. I learned about the hat from UFO No More (here). It is also from UFO No More, I know about the new Arc'teryx boots.

The fine golden necklace is an Orit Elhanati. Her smart hairband is from Kknekki. A closer look revealed that she was also wearing two bracelets from Anni Lu and Dulong Fine Jewelry.

Day 1. A visit to Bangladesh

25 April

ARRIVAL

Crown Princess Mary's visit to Bangladesh, was only announced the day before. The visit will last for three days. She arrived on April 25th to Dhaka in the morning and was warmly welcomed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs in Bangladesh (here, here).

The Crown Princess is visiting Bangladesh representing Denmark in supporting a corporation between the two countries and their work on solving issues in connection to climate changes. Especially renewable energy is on the agenda.

Arriving to Dhaka, Mary wore a lovely travel outfit. I have only been on a plane once, but traveling for many hours take the right outfit. Think Mary found it. She was wearing an old linen blazer with a pair of  trousers. The new brown Naledi Copenhagen bag was a great addition to the rest of the look. Heaven identified the bag. She also wore a lovely green scarf.

DURING THE DAY

Her official program started with a welcoming ceremony at Bangledesh's Primeminister Sheikh Hasina. The Crown Princess was accompanied by the Danish Minister of Development Flemming Møller Mortensen. He is also part of the "delegation" for the rest of the three-day visit.

Flemming Møller Mortensen also played a significant role already on the first day because he was the one to sign a so-called "green agreement". The same did Bangladesh's Foreign Minister H.E. A.K. Abdul Momen. It was a big day and Crown Princess Mary witness it all.

When she had lunch as the Danish Embassy in Dhaka, she met with other representative from several Danish companies. They shared their experiences and their work in Bangladesh with, among others, green and sustainable solutions in the climate field.

Mary looked absolutely lovely and really beautiful on her first day in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Heaven managed to identify her stunning blue printed dress as Beulah London. A designer she has become fund of the last couple of years. This is particularly delicate. Like a dreamy cake.

She matched her brand new dress with just as delicate and elegant accessories. The golden earrings featuring rather large white pearls have followed her for maaaany years. They are created by the talented Marianne Dulong from Dulong Fine Jewelry. If those earrings could speak. Mary also wore a couple of bracelets from the same designer. One of them old. The other one is all new. It is from Dulong Fine Jewelry's latest collection. Her golden necklace is a reuse. It is from Orit Elhanati. I truly admire her designs and creativity with materials and stones. Impressive craftsmanship! We also get a small glimpse of an old Anni Lu pearl bracelet.

Her pointed nude Prada pumps are old as well. She often likes to pair nude pumps with more colourfull outfits, but this time she paired them with a not se laud dress. Makes the outfit look so fine and fresh. Don't you think?

SAYEMAN BEACH RESORT

In the afternoon, the Crown Princess arrived to the Sayeman Beach Resort (here) - her hotel during the visit. She was friendly welcomed by the staff with happy faces, smiles and a bouquet of flowers.

Mary had changed to a more comfortable and relaxed outfit, when arriving to the hotel. She wore lovely green trousers and match them with a plain white blouse. Once again, she flashed her new brown leather bag from Naledi Copenhagen.

Day of Research 2022

22 April

For many years, Crown Princess has attended the opening of Day of Research (Forskningens Døgn). So did she this year as patron of the event.

This year, Day of Research was part of the event "Common about the Fjord" (Fælles om Fjorden). An event aiming to strengthen and protect the climate and environment in and around Roskilde Fjord. The project work with this through initiatives by both citizens and researchers.

Day of Research takes place at the Viking Museum in Roskilde.

The Crown Princess was in a wonderful mood at the opening. She was accompanied by the Danish Minister of Education and Research, Jesper Petersen. They joined each other for opening, which contained a panel debate, some sining, touching eels and having a lot of fun with science. It looks like the Crown Princess had a great time in Roskilde.

Mary wore a stunning and super chic outfit in Roskilde at the opening of Day of Research 2022. Very moderen and polished. The fine long vest is a reuse from Harris Wharf London. She wore it once before at a private event (here). She matched it was a knitted blouse in almost exact same colour. I have always been impressed by her ability to match colours with such perfection. The white wide-legged trousers was a lovely addition to the vest and blouse.

She embraced the style with beautiful accessories. Like the golden Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen earrings. Don't know if I am the biggest fan of this design, but Mary wears them with such elegance that I have come to like them very much. We also get a glimpse of her golden Cartier bangle and diamond ring from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. She was wearing another ring as well. A new one, but I am still missing a close-up to tell more about it.

The striped colourfull hairband is another one from Kknekki. Seems to be her favourite hairbands. Have you tried them? My hair is still too short to wear these hairbands, but I am curious to know. For sure, you noticed those incredible ankle boots as well, right? Heaven and UFO No More were able to identify them as Yvonne Koné. And they we not brown, but olive. No matter what the colour is called, they are magnificent.

Congratulations to Queen Margrethe!

16 April

Over the years, it has become a tradition for the Queen to celebrate her birthday at Marselisborg in Aarhus along with her family. This year, the Crown Princes Couple and their four children stayed at Marselisborg to celebrate the day and the birthday-girl.

Many Danes also showed up to congratulate Queen Margrethe on behalf of her 82nd birthday. She was also celebrated with music and birthday song.

It was wonderful to see all of them together. Especially, the Queen was one big smile. We get it, right? One lovely way of celebrating ones birthday. You are surrounded by your loved ones. The sun is shining and the weather was warm. What is not to like? I think, the only thing she missed, was the rest of the family.

Princess Isabella caught much attention at Marselisborg. She was also one good-looking princess. No doubt about that. So was her little sister (and brothers). Still, my eyes were on Mary. I wish we could see more of her outfit. Maybe she will wear it again one day and we will get a better look. Nevertheless, I adore what she was wearing. Heaven and UFO No More managed to identify all of her new pieces. Like the STUNNING white blouse. It was found at ME+EM. Her beautiful coat was also new. They also managed to identify this as Goat Fashion. Think Mary wore simple black trousers to match the rest of the outfit.

I imagine her wearing either black heeled boots or pumps. Have you seen a photo that reveal this? I have not been able to track one down, but that choice would suit the outfit and be something Mary would do. In my dreams, I wish she would have chosen something colourful.

She also embraced the style with a couple of golden bracelets. One of them are a creation by Dulong Fine Jewelry and the other one is from Cartier. Two of her favourites. We get a tiny glimpse of a diamond ring as well on her right hand. This very delicate ring is from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. Often she wears it with other things, but not this time. I am sure you noticed her huge white pearl earrings as well. They are also from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen.
