Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary during their last day in Australia

So this was the last day the couple was in Australia. Their last day was to me as amazing as all the other four. But we still have one day left to talk about and I think it has to be one of the best of course because of the award show in the evening. It was a special show and unique it took place abroad Denmark. Before we can talk about the award show I think we should take a look at how they send their last day. In the morning Frederik and Mary attended the presentation of the Export Association diploma and His Royal Highness Prince Henrik's Medal of Honour. It was the Crown Prince who handed over the medallion to General Manager at ECCO Shoes Pacific Pty, Morten Lauge. With the Crown Prince couple and the politician Marianne Jelved a picture was taken which you see above. Around 45 minutes after the presentation they were headed to attend  a business lunch hosted by Danish Industry (Dansk Industri) which took place in the Sydney Opera House. What a place to have lunch, right? I wouldn't mind trying that. Well, maybe one day.

You know I love to talk about Mary's outfits, she is always a source of inspiration to me which I think she is to you as well. It is not easy for me to describe why I like her style so much but I think it's because of her confidence, the sense of quality of her clothes and how she always 'plays' with her style. Sometimes it's classic and sometimes it's more minimalistic and edgy. No doubt that the day before yesterdays outfit was the perfect business-look. Simple and elegant in a brand new WILLOW dress identified by by Sarah. Thank you so much for your help with the dress! I just found out that Mary actually bought this dress at a shopping trip the same day in a WILLOW store in Sydney. And why wait? I love that she wears her newly purchased jacquard stretch dress. Styled with Marianne Dulong jewellery and Christian Louboutin pumps she could wear this any time, at any event. I wonder if the curry cardigan is the same as she wore last year at the gathering at Gråsten Castle? Worn with the colourful Free People maxi dress. And of course she wore her Carlend Copenhagen clutch matching the cardigan beautifully!

Crown Prince Frederik & Crown Princess Mary: The Crown Prince Couple’s Prizes 2013

Finally the time has arrived when Frederik and Mary attended The Crown Prince Couple's Prizes 2013! Something I have been looking forward to since the last one, last year.  The Crown Princes Couple's Prizes was established in 2004 as a wedding gift to Frederik and Mary and was first presented in 2005. This was a gift from the Bikuben Foundation (Bikubenfonden). Until 2009 the award had another name: The Crown Prince Couple's Cultur Prize and then it was changed to the current name. At the same time, in 2009, the numbers of prizes was expanded from one to four, three different categories. The award show is always broadcasted live on the Australian TV station SBS 1 and the Danish DR1, which means both nationalities had the chance to watch the show -I did. But 2013 isn't just a normal year because this year it's the first time the show take place abroad Denmark. The award show is a window into a world of art, music and artistic work. Creative artists from a wide range of work. The purpose of the Royal Couple Pricing is to highlight and recognize the extraordinary
performance in the Danish culture and social work. During the evening over DKK 1,1 million were handed over to new talents on the stage in front of 1,000 evening-dressed guests. Four prizes were were presented by the royal couple on the stage. You see them all down below. I don't know if you watched the show last night but I was overwhelmed by the entertainment as well as the presentations, and the winners speeches. Such a wonderful show. One little funny thing to mention what happened during the evening: Mary was about the give her speech to one of the winners in English of course when she switched to Danish. Like everybody else Mary just laughed at switched to English again. This was a brilliant moment from the evening, watch it if you can find it.

I think I am in love with her look from the award show! I was so happy to see her in that stunning Ole Yde gown again. Makes me happy just to look at it. Frederik was looking very handsome in his classic black and white suit wearing a black bow tie. The perfect evening dress coat for a man and with Mary next to him, they balanced beautifully. Mary was so feminine in the layered dress featuring only one shoulder. I'm sure you remember this isn't the first time we have seen it because back in 2009, five years ago, when Frederik and Mary visited Vietnam accompanied by Queen Margrehte and Prince Henrik she wore her Ole Yde creation for the first time at a return dinner. At that time she wore it with a black sequin clutch, a side chignon done by the Queens hairdresser and white pearl earrings. The only thing similar was the clutch and the black Prada pumps. At this years award show Mary wore the gorgeous Ole Lynggaard earrings as well as other jewelry's from the same designer, here I need to mention that her new black bracelet was identified by What Crown Princess Mary Wore and Pernille. Thanks to both of you! Her hair was done beautifully in a low chignon with a twist on top. There are so many wonderful details to look at. She is like a real princess!

Well, this was the last event on the last day. Frederik and Mary have spend five days in Australia which we have followed closely. I really enjoyed the visit. They have experienced everything from gala events, business dinners, exhibitions and destroyed houses. Hope I was able to give you the best and most interesting news from the trip. Take care and have fun till next time!

Day 4: Official State Visit in Australia

October, 27th

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary are on their official state visit in Australia. This is the second last day before they will return to Denmark.

Program:
  • Program change! The royal couple visited the city Winmalee in the Blue Mountains area which is hard hit by the ongoing forest fires in Australia.
  • 5:30 pm. The couple were present at a gala concert celebration of the Opera house's 40-year anniversary. During the concert Crown Princess Mary gave a speech and after there was a reception for invited guests which in royal couple attended.

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary visiting Winmalee

The situation is a little special in Australia, especially around Sydney, these days because of massive bushfires raging and many families have lost their homes. This has been going on the last week or so. Not only houses have been  destroyed but cities as well are damaged because of the fires. This is the reason for the couple's official program was changed a bit, to visit some of these families and volunteer firefighters from Winmalee Fire Station who all work to repair the damages. When Frederik and Mary arrived to Australia a few days ago they expressed their concern in a short interview to the Sydney Morning Harald, telling that they have followed news about the bushfires closely from their home in Denmark the past eight days. Among others Mary says this: "Our deepest sympathy goes to those who have been affected. Our respect goes to those who work in controlling fires that are really scary." Very thoughtful of them to show they sympathy and meet some of those who tragically lost their homes. It was clear that both of them were affected by what they saw in Winmalee in the Blue Mountains area which has been hit by rampant bushfires. The ruined houses was blocked by police to make sure who ever comes near them aren't in danger. The couple spoke with family member who lost their house, police men, firefighters such as volunteers to her their stories and how the devastating fires has affected them and what they do to help as much as possible. They have my deepest sympathy and I hope the families will be able to recover after all this. It must be terrible to loos your home to a fire.

Despite the horrible situation, the royal couple were met by smiles. I think it was important to these families that the couple took the time to think of them and met them in person, showing their deepest sympathy. Dressed casually in jeans, a white lace blouse and a blue cardigan -nothing very spectacular but I really like that all her attention went to the locals. That's what's important about this visit.

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary attended a gala concert at the Opera House

Their evening was a bit more happy. They attended the 40th anniversary gala concert for the Sydney Opera House both looking their absolute best! Thousands of people had gathered to get a glimpse of the couple and there was plenty to look at despite the fact that there were only two of them. Mary delivered a speech during the anniversary gala concert. She stepped right in front of thousands of people on the big stage and everyones eyes were on her, standing on her own so everybody could see her. With the black background she was lightning like a snowflake in the white Prada coat and wonderful new Valentino dress! Her speech was broadcasted on a huge flatscreen. Mary once again found her seat next to Frederik and he could not stand to give his wife a kiss because of her great speech. I love to see such tiny almost invisible moments like this. The concert was held with Sydney Opera House in the background, standing like a giant. It was with flags, waving hands and happy faces the couple arrived to attend the gala concert on behalf of the Opera house 40th anniversary. After the concert there was a firework in playful colours. A great way to end a great evening.

To me this is a stunning example of how beautiful our Crown Princess Mary can be. Dressed in white and gold be rocked the celebration like the most brilliant diamond in a ring. Getting the attention she deserves if you ask me. Shining as a star Mary captures by heart with this outfit. You might recognize the Valentino evening dress or should I say old dress because actually it's from a Spring 2010 Ready-to-Wear collection AND at that time another royal was spotted in the exact same dress?! Yes that's right, the exact same dress. Do you remember who? If not, it was the Crown Princess of Norway, Mette-Marit who around 2010 wore the golden sequin dress from Valentino. Crown Princess Mette-Marit was also looking very pretty in hers but sorry Norway Mary wins this if you ask me. Mary was so glamours! In gold as well Mary wore Marianne Dulong earrings and bracelets, the snakeskin Judith Leiber clutch and of course the marvelous Valentino rockstud shoes! I loose my breath every single time I see her wear these. On her left hand she wore a quite lovely amber ring. The classic chignon hairstyle is popular with Mary in the recent past, which I adore. If you get the chance take a look at the beautiful makeup as well; brown eye makeup and pale pink lipgloss making her rather thin lips bigger.

So tomorrow is their last day in Australia. I think it's a little sad but I have enjoyed every moment from their trip and maybe the best part we haven't seen yet because tomorrow the couple will attend the presentation of The Royal Couple's Prizes 2013!

Day 3: Official State Visit in Australia

October, 26th

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary is on a official state visit in Australia from 23th to 28th of October to attend some of the celebrations activities in addition to the 40th anniversary of the Sydney Opera House.

Program:
  • 11:30 am. Visiting the Twin Registry at Sydney Children's Hospital and is presented to the place of current research and talking with twins from the register which Crown Princess Mary recently became patron of.
  • 1:15 pm. The Crown Prince couple attended the launch of eSmart Digital License at Margaret Martin Library in Sydney.

Both Frederik and Mary were in a excellent mood when they in the morning visited the Twin Registry at Sydney Children's Hospital. The hospitals children made the royal couple smile from the second they arrived. They were met by two couple of twins handing over large bouquet of flowers, on to each of them; Mary's was pink roses and Frederik got purple flowers. The pictures really made me smile, true happiness! I am sure they had a great time with all the twins, you know our favourite royal couple have a pair at home in Denmark so they know how it is, how attached they can be etc. Maybe they see similarities on the twins behavior? Frederik and Mary were also presented the current research there are on this area and got the opportunity to talk with several couple of twins from the register. Before the couple flew to Australia Mary became patron of The Australian Twins Register and The Danish Twins Register, another reason for them to make the time to visit the Sydney Children's Hospital and members of the Twin Registry. All children were dressed beautifully, most of them in the same or matching clothes, a picture were taken with the royal couple as a special day to remember. I was quite amazed when I took a closer look because the children look so much alike, not just clothes. Take a look and you'll see. Of course this all depends on whether the children are monozygotic or fraternal. Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine are fraternal and that's why they do not look exactly the same as many of these kids do.

In the afternoon, Frederik and Mary attended the launching of the eSmart Digital License at Margaret Martin Library in Sydney. This eSmart Digital License is created by The Alannah and Madeline Foundation which Mary has worked with several times before. And if I'm correct Mary created the Mary Foundation after the principals from The Alannah and Madeline Foundation. It's like the Australian Mary Foundation. eSmart Digital License is invented to improve internet security and preventing bullying online by 10+ children and adolescents. It is created by cyber safety  experts, technologists and teacher to balance between learning and fun. With just as much time as earlier the same day, the couple gave every second to the children at Margaret Martin Library. They watch how the program work and how easily the children manage to learn.

So on the third day Mary shone in yet another design from Collette Dinnigan (Summer/Spring 2013) featuring a wonderful embroidered grape vine print in light blue and creamy white colour. The dress features so many lovely details like around the neck. Beautiful design! The silver lurex cardigan is an old one from Ann Taylor. She has worn it at multiple other occasions with several different dresses, the plain and colourful. I really like both of them, but separated I would prefer. The model you see in the link below is in coral, maybe the silver cardigan and the coral dress would have been a better match? By the way the dress was identified by the great Kate! Her dark brown hair was looses with wavy ends and her make up was done very simple - matching brown eyeshadow and pale pink lips. To this summer-in-Australia-look Mary chose beige accessories from Christian Louboutin and Chanel. Funny thing; the Chanel handbag is really old and was seen worn by her in some of the first photos we got of Mary from when she was on her way to Denmark from an Australian airport. You remember it? Now the bag is back! Earrings and bracelets are the only thing I still need to tell you about. Marianne Dulong is the designer of both earrings and two of the bracelet, and Shamballa Jewels is the other designer when we talk about bracelets. Well not a bad day if you ask me but I really look forward to the next couple of days. Don't you?

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary during the second day in Australia

October 24th was a great day, a great start of their four day visit in Australia. First they met hundreds of Australians waving with lots of both Danish and Australian flags to welcome the couple. It was a warm welcome and by looking at their faces I think they were both overwhelmed with joy to see so many happy people. In the afternoon they stepped by the Government House in Sydney. Yesterday was just as great. Late morning the couple attended launching of the exchange program MADE by the Opera House and the opening of Architecture Meets the City. Frederik gave a speech to give the opening a 'royal-touch'. Afterwards Mary participated in the opening of a brand new Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen flagship store in Sydney.

At the arrival Mary was got a beautiful bouquet of pink flowers that matches her new Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen earrings, which I have fallen in love with. The flagship store was opened by Mary cutting a pink ribbon with a large golden scissors standing right next to one of Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen's designers, Charlotte Lynggaard. She is the daughter of Ole Lynggaard and the main designer today. Because of this event, Mary wore several other pieces from Lynggaard's collections like the golden chain bracelet and the snake shaped ring on her finger.

In the afternoon Frederik and Mary took the trip to Five Dock Primary School in Sydney to attend the presentation of the Premiers Reading Challenge which is a reading competition focusing on who to get children to find the joy reading books. So sweet how the royal couple keep smiling when they talked to the participant children and the kids were smiling just as much. I really think they all had a great time together. They were present and genuinely interested in giving the children and visitors attention. An experience that will be remembered. Look at them, they look so happy!

Despite the fat that Mary only wore black, she wore it with style! She showed who to wear plain black without it being boring because of the feminine and edgy accessories at the same time. I had some help identifying her new skirt. What Cown Princess Mary Wore is the one who found it at Danish designer Signe Bøgelund-Jensen, the same who created her dress she wore on their first day. Mary matched it with a simple black sleeveless blouse from Hugo Boss. The new snakeskin belt from Balenciaga showed her waist beautifully. She is by no doubt my style icon! As I mentioned before all her jewellery are from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. All designed in the spirit of Lynggaard focusing on the material, how to make women feel beautiful with old handwork. The earrings are from their 2013 collection and they are available in the most wonderful blue, green and red colours! The ring on her finger is in the shape of a snake attached with diamonds. Magnificent work done by a skilled hand. The snake theme is a independent collection from Lynggaard himself. Because these jewellery are let us say pretty expensive I think they were a given to Mary as a gift because she attended the opening yesterday go their new flagship store. Otherwise I do not think she would have such expensive jewellery. Two other black accessories, a Carlend Copenhagen clutch and her SAND Copenhagen pumps, completed her outfit to make her look sophisticated and feminine during their second day in Australia.

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary at the Danish Design at the House exhibition

Because the Sydney Opera House celebrate its 40th anniversary and the designer Jørn Utzen, activities are all around in Sydney as Frederik and Mary will visit. In the evening they arrived in a shiny white car, matching Mary's Prada coat, to the Opera House to see the Danish Design at the House exhibition. Glowing like a star on a evening sky Mary got my hear beating uncontrolled in her new peppermint blue dress! I'm really not sure how she manage to dress so beautifully but the combo of the cool accessories and the girly Collette Dinnigan dress is perfect. It is with great pleasure I thanks JAusten for the helping hand to identify her new stunning dress. Collette Dinnigan is a very talented and skilled designer. She knows how to make any woman look and more important feel good wearing her clothes. They both arrived to the Sydney Opera House in a absolutely great mood, laughing and smiling all the time. They took the time to met the people who stood ready with cameras, flowers and greetings. Our Danish couple are really popular. Outside as inside the couple was followed closely by photographers to capture their visit in photos which we really enjoy watching now! Now and then I think they must hate being followed by cameras all the time; day and night, every time a year but then I think the learned to live with it, they really don't think about it anymore or maybe sometimes.

Our gorgeous Crown Princess topped off her evening look with a stunning hairstyle which is quite easy to make such as popular both to the princess and the fashion world. It's called a 'chignon hairdo', you find a million different examples and ideas on Youtube if you are as fascinated by this as I am. I know it's look hard but it does not take that much to make it. So if you like it, I think you should try it! Of course it take some practice but everything do. She only wore a few jewellery; her golden earrings from Marianne Dulong featuring diamonds, the chain bracelet from earlier today from Ole Lynggaard and her I'm Jewel leaves ring. In beige she added a Prada clutch, a rivet belt showing of her waist and not to forget the new amazing Valentino heeled sandals! I lost my breath when I saw she wore the iconic Valentino shoes, I wouldn't mind have a pair on my own. Don't you love them! Well done Mary, I'm so impressed by our look!

Day 1: Official State Visit in Australia

October, 24th

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary are on a official state visit in Australia. It is a four day visit from October 24th to 28th. They were welcomed at the Sydney Opera House as a part of the 40th birthday celebration. The Opera House in Sydney was by Jørn Utzon, a Danish architect.

Program:
  • 10:00 am. Official photography at the Sydney Opera House
  • 4:00 pm. Courtesy Visit by the Governor of New South Wales

Hundreds of Australians were gathered in front of the Opera house to get a glimpse of the Crown Prince Couple. Waving with both Danish and Australian flags to welcome the Frederik and of course their Mary. The next four days they both have a program  packeted with activities celebrating 40 years of the Sydney Opera House and the Danish architect who designed it, Jørn Utzon. Among other is the Crown Prince Couple's Prizes 2013 presented for the first time outside Denmark during their visit. Well that is something I really look forward to watch! The reason why it all began in front of the Opera House is because of its 40-years anniversary which the Danish royal couple are patrons of and the main reason why the Crown Prince Couple's Prizes 2013 are awarded in Sydney on October 28th. The attendance was ready with their cameras, cell phones, flowers and gifts. They took plenty of time to meet and chat with the attendances who were thrilled to see the royal couple. Mary was given a bunch of flowers, she almost lost them but as the amazing Crown Princess she is she did her best to keep everything under control. I think she was overwhelmed how many people showed up. In the afternoon they couple paid a courtesy visit by the Governor of New South Wales. The visit took place in the Government House which is a part of Sydney Living Museums that represents 12 of New South Wales' most important museums and historical buildings. They went on a little walk in the garden. From the garden the Sydney Opera House is visible.

In Danish design Mary was ready to set start some amazing days in Australia with her husband. The fantastic blue/green dress is a creation made by Signe Bøgelund-Jensen. We have seen before and after quite some time we see it again. I think the pattern makes her smile, skin and everything glow like a true movie star. The dress also gives her a beautiful but small figure. A modern choice! I love the way her earrings from Marianne Dulong and the dress matched in colour. It is a clever thought. Marianne Dulong is also the designer of the black pearl bracelet on her right wrist which is paired with her golden Shamballa Jewels bracelet featuring pink diamonds. Worn at quite many events lately. Christian Louboutin has designed the beige pumps. For a long time I have been looking for the navy blue clutch she wore at their first day in Australia. After too many hours I still had no clue about the designer. Mary also got it in several other colours. It only have a very few details to use in the search to find it. Sometimes you just have to admit you need to give up and that is what I did. Gave up. One who did not gave up is my best reader of them all Pernille. She manage to identify who made the clutch. Crazy, right? So all the credit goes to her, thanks! The clutch is from a Danish brand called Quidam highly expensive not to mention. A quality brand with stunning bags and clutches.

ARoS Exhibition: Pas de Deux Royal

October, 11th

Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik inaugurated their own exhibition at ARoS art museum un Aarhus. Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary attended the opening.

Frederiketmary.centerblog.net 1

Queen Margrethe and her husband Prince Henrik have in many years both loved to be creative with each their interest. Margrethe has painted, sawn and made collages to movies. Henrik writes poetry and makes sculptures. They both work with a sense of modern art. Now the royal couple decided to exhibit their designs under the name Pas de Deux Royal - an artistic meeting (Pas de Deux Royal - et kunstnerisk møde). The exhibition is placed in Aarhus in the art museum ARoS and displays 150 pieces, new and old, divided into 10 different galleries over approx. 1,000 square meters. The 150 art pieces is exhibited from October 12 2013 to February 23 2014. Among others the Queens landscape paintings, church textiles, set designs and decoupage and Prince Consort poems and sculptures will be exhibited. These are characteristic pieces of art made by the royal couple. Because this is a exhibition by the Queen and Prince they of course attended the opening. They have also been a part of the process before the opening day -where to place the 150 pieces etc. in collaboration with the staff at ARoS. Pas de Deux Roayl was opened with poems written and told by Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik themselves. I have to admit, I've never seen or read any of their poems. As a royalist I might consider it. Have you read one of their creations?

The reason why I post about this new royal exhibition is because Frederik and Mary also attended the opening. I made me so happy to see all four of them together, doing something together. Normally they only gather when the event is new year, gala dinners, state visits you name it. My guess is their presence was to support Margrethe and Henrik at such a special day. A royal event gets a little better when Mary is there. To me it also seems like the four of them make a great team, this makes me wonder how it all will be when Frederik and Mary become King and Queen? Don't you think they will bring their children with them when they get older? Enough about all my questions. To this opening Mary shone in a bordeaux floral creation from Hennes & Mauritz. It's like we know the pattern, right? I think this must be the 4th or 5th items she wear from that one specific conscious collection fall 2011. I do not complain! I love every single items from that collection; the woolen cardigans, floral skirt and dresses, pastel colours mixed with darker colours. This is who I like a collection, unfortunately I was never there to buy any of the items and they are actually not easy to find. Lately we have seen her in bordeaux with I adore, she dressed the colour beautifully especially with her dark brown hair. Cenius & Bach designed her earrings which, yesterday night, featured pink pendants instead of the original purple stones. To match the bordeaux dress she chose Prada-pumps in the same dark bordeaux colour such as red lipstick and to me a rather dramatic eye-make up. No clutch only her Shamballa Jewels bracelet. Well, I am not complaining!

Sydney Morning Herald

The October issue of Sydney Morning Herald was this year very special, at least to all of us royalists. The Australian newspaper did an interview with future king and queen of Denmark, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary. Far away from Australia is many of us but thanks to the sweet Alison I have a few photos to show you! Alison you have been very kind to me and I thank you for the time you used to send me the pictures. Because stunning pictures were taken by Franne Voigt of the couple.

Meeting at Christiansborg

October, 10th

Crown Princess Mary attended a meeting at Christiansborg Castle with Minister for Development Cooperation, Christian Friis Bach, The Parliamentary Intergroup Network for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights.

Graceful as always, Mary arrived to Christiansborg Castle in the middle of Copenhagen. Christiansborg is where the Danish parliament works. Normally we only see the members of the royal family at Christiansborg when they attend the annual opening of the parliament in October, where they are all dressed beautifully in feminine coats and large hats. This time it was a bit more serious, bring up and talk about important subjects. To the meeting  Minister for Development Cooperation, Christian Friis Bach, and the Parliamentary Intergroup Network for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights. The meeting was held behind closed doors and we only saw Mary at the arrival and a single pictures where all participants were gathered, including her looking absolutely amazing!

When I write a post about a new event and of course outfit, it's great to identify all of the items but it also makes it hard to keep all this organized in my personal folders and here in the posts. Don't worry I'll handle it as always. The reason why I mention it, is because at the meeting she was wearing quite many detailed items I can identify. Actually all of it. That's pretty amazing and that is only possible with the help from you, so thanks! The look got some great colours to the rather cold October weather we have in Denmark at the moment. Which also surprises me she's wearing bare legs and no coat, she is a tough lady. The Hugo Boss peplum is a classic design fits almost any other item she owns, Mary matched it with a pencil skirt from the same designer. In black leather she wore her SAND Copenhagen pumps which was a great balance in colours to the rest of the outfit. But a little colour are needed, the beautiful bordeaux became this one other colour. With the help from P.G., Kate and theRoyaloutfitofCrownPrincessMary I can tell you that the new bordeaux bag is from Adax. Thanks you very much girls! Am I the only one who just love it?! I have a thing with this wine red/bordeaux. With new earrings from Marianne Dulong, a golden watch from Cartier and a necklace from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen Mary showed a classic and edgy business-look!

Nothing is better than a day with mom. Mary and her two oldest children Christian and Isabella spend a day together in Tivoli, Copenhagen, to watch a musical El Dorado: The Search for the Golden City. I don't know if you ever had the chance to watch a musical, if so you know for sure how amazing it is. The musical the royal family members watched was about the legendary story about El Dorado the lost city of gold. The history about El Dorado goes back to the 16. hundred and tells a story about a  king with the same name which was covered with gold every day. Then in the 16. hundred the spanish conquistadors spread and they began a search for the city of gold. I think a musical like this  have been fantastic to watch. Both Mary and her children were in a really great mood when they arrived to the glass hall (Glassalen) in Tivoli with some friends of Christian and Isabella. All were happy and excited about the musical. The day in Tivoli was not a part of Mary's official calendar, still she was dressed like a princess! A modern mother with everything under control she amazed me with her choice of clothes. I really want to thanks all of you who gave me the ID. of the bordeaux knitted jacket Mary was wearing. You identified it as Isabel Marant Étoile! Well, I wouldn't mind wearing that. Neither would I mind wearing her stunning Christian Louboutin glossed leather pumps which features the iconic red sole. Under the jacket she wore a white lace blouse which I haven't been able to find, I like the two of them together. I adore the combo of the black and red colours, the Isabel Marant Éstoile jacket, the black capri trousers and Prada coat with the Christian Louboutin pumps. One stylish mother. I am so sure that I need to try this myself!

Arriving to laud opera music Mary attended the DANISH Design Talent to the State Museum of Art in Copenhagen. Several other fashion celebrities from Denmark did also attended the presentation. There happen to be a little problem with the music when the guests arrived, it was way too laud and then opera I'm sure it was a bit of an experience. But Mary and the other guests were all clam and only smile of the technological problem. And really they wouldn't have been able to do a thing about it. Just something to remember. Danish celebrities are always beautifully dressed when attending an event like this. Stunning dresses, glamours hairstyles and make-up. Perfectly Mary embraced that dress coat. Well, she always does. Mary got the best hairdresser, make-up artists and stylish to help her when she is the Queen of such an fashion event with lots of focus from the world press, still I think there's a part of her who take the decision who she want to look and what she will wear. I have the feeling we see that right here. Her smile and glow shows confidence of herself, nothing does that else than pride of your own decision.

Just a few days ago I visited the web side of a specific Danish designer. Here I found a dress, a really wonderful long dress with a white top featured a sequin floral pattern and thought Mary would look stunning in a dress like this. And new on October 3rd she's actually wearing that exact dress, that is why I immediately knew the designer of her new dazzling dress is from Danish brand By Malene Birger. Really amazing design in 100% silk! For sure the theme of Mary's look was black and white, the classic choice. The Winter Frost collection from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen is my personal favourite jewellery collection I've ever seen. I know, I have told you this a million times before but I keep saying because it impresses me every time I see it. In catalogs and when Mary's wearing some of the pieces. She also wore her Shamballa Jewels bracelet and black satin Prada pumps.
