Garden Party at Fredensborg Palace

June, 19

Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik were the hosts of a party in the garden of Fredensborg Palace for all Danish volunteers. Crown Princess Mary, her brother-and sister-in-law Prince Joachim and Princess Marie and Princess Benedikte did also attend the party.

Yeah, a brand new dress for Mary! It makes a royal fasionista happy. The smiling and good looking Princesses wore a dress from Fendi. A little sensation because she has never worn anything from Fendi before or at least I'm not aware of it. The dress was identified by Kate. She also wore custom-made pearl earrings from Marianne Dulong. Standing right next to the Queen when all the guest arrived, makes me think of that day when Mary get the title as a Queen. It'll be a great day! Again she wore her grey python pumps from Gianvito Rossi.

After a pair of hectic day with a state visit Crown Princess Mary is now back and today she handed over The Crown Princess Mary Scholarship to the recipients Stephanie Arrowsmith and Johanan Ottensooser. They are both Australian exchange students.

First I noticed the brand new, and a little funny, blouse with the puffed sleeves. It has not yet been identified so if you know who the designer is, I would love to know. And take a look at her amazing legs, they looks so long and slim in these white pants of course she's also wearing high heeled pumps, Gianvito Rossi. To match the gorgeous Gianvito Rossi pumps she had chosen a super classic Chanel cross-body bag in grey with an characteristic quilted leather. Think it's the style tip for today:

Wear plain simple dress-pants to make your legs look longer and dress your feet with a pair of heeled pumps.

Day 2: State visit from China

June, 15

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary were accompanied by President Hu Jintau and his wife Liu Yongqing when visiting Rosenborg in Copenhagen. The castle is where the Crown Jewels are stored when not used by Queen Margrethe.

Visiting Rosenborg Castle
It was a more or less private visit to Rosenborg when the Crown Prince Couple visited the castle along with the Chinese Presidential Couple. That is why only a few pictures have been published from the arrival. The pictures shows two happy couples.

Mary had chosen to wear her hair light curly and in a simple hairdo. Quite easy to try out yourself if you like so. I was thrilled to see her wear a combination of red and white - truly colors of Denmark. Maybe that is why she wore that combo. It took me quite a while to identify the red dress, but it turned out to be a design by Diane von Furstenberg. Don't think we have seen it before, have we? She matched the bright red dress with a plain white Heartmade Julie Fagerholt cardigan. She's got the exact same one in black as well. The white pearl earrings are from Marianne Dulong and worn on numerous occasions. Her shiny red pumps really caught my attention. They are from Christian Louboutin. Really chic and clever of her to match dress and shoes. I also very much like the fact that she accessorized the look with an orange leather clutch. That has not yet been found.

Dinner at Christiansborg
Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik hosted a banquet dinner for the Chinese President Couple, Hu Jintau and Liu Yongqing. Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary, Prince Joachim and Princess Marie also attended the dinner that took place at Christiansborg Castle.

After a day with a more classic red and white style Mary is back in the game with an overwhelming pink one-shoulder gown created by the Danish designer David Andersen. A true masterpiece. This is the second time she's wearing it. The first time we saw her in it, was at the wedding in Monaco earlier this year. Mary really gives we the confidence to wear a colorful dress. I am so inspired by her style when she's wearing such a magnificent dress. What's more amazing is that the she actually chose a pair of aquamarine blue- and diamonds earrings and her simple wedding tiara as well. Matched with a gorgeous hairstyle, I'm sure this could not have been done more beautifully.

Dinner for the European Trade Organizations

June, 14

Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik hosted a dinner for the European Trade Organizations on occasion of Business Europe's Council of Presidents' meeting. The dinner took place at Christiansborg Castle in Copenhagen. Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary also attended the evening event.

The Crown Prince Couple simply looked perfect. Both of them were in a splendid mood ready for a lovely evening at Christiansborg Castle. Mary embraced the style by wearing a stunning Ralph Lauren (Autumn 2011) evening gown. It is designed like upper corset and a rather low skirt. The Dress is covered in beautiful bead-work. She has been wearing the same dress a couple of years ago. Back then I did not find out where it was from, and because of it's so nicely made I was sure it was tailored. But no. Ralph Lauren made it. Kate identified the dress and shared the info with me. Mary also embraced the style with custom-made Cenius & Bach earrings featuring diamond and a pendant. To match the rest of the outfit she wore pink satin pumps from Prada and her snakeskin clutch from Judith Leiber. One beautiful outfit.

Day 1: State Visit from China

June, 14

The Chinese President, Hu Jintao, is in Denmark from the 14th. to the 16th. Queen Margrethe, Prince Henrik, Crown Princess Frederik, Crown Princess Mary and Prince Joachim waited at the airport to welcome him when he arrived to Denmark.

The summer has really arrived to Denmark and at the arrived of the Chinese President, Hu Jintao, Mary was dresses in bright summer colors; a pleated Hugo Boss (BOSS Black, Fall 2007) dress and T-strap shoes. With the light pink Susanne Juul hat and the short pink jacket her outfit became so feminine and beautiful. The perfect look to meet the Chinese President. His eyes must haven seen her immediately. The style of the jacket reminds me of Chanel, so without knowing it I assume they could be the designer. Very delicate she chose a little diamond brooch - what I know is that it could be a gift from Prince Henrik's mother. Once I asked an author who had written a book about royal jewelry if my information was right but he was not allowed to give me an answer because of a deal he had with the royal family. So we might never find out. Never mind, the brooch looks beautiful on her chest. Besides the brooch she only wore a pair of Rosenquartz Marianne Dulong earrings.

European Inventor Award

It's not rare to see her wear the same clothes and accessories twice or more. At the award she wore a pretty old Hugo Boss dress in a lovely navy blue color mixed with a pattern, from their BOSS Black collection. Also the amazing white pearl earrings and large bracelets are seen before, they are made by Marianne Dulong. I'm not sure if I have mentioned this before but some of my favorite colors are navy blue and bordeaux - that's how Mary had chosen to create her outfit because the Rika clutch and Prada pumps are in a dark bordeaux color. Wonderful! Her hair was soft wavy which always looks great and give make her outfit at bit more casual.

Visiting Glostrup hospital

June, 13

Much joy was shown when Crown Princess Mary visited the neurological department of Glostrup Hospital, Copenhagen. The visits focused on rehabilitation of patients with blood clots or have had one or more.

Regionh.dk
Billedbladet.dk

I was a really great moment for especially one of the patients, the 65 years old Else Weiss, who was this days flower girl. She handed over a bouquet of flowers to Mary when she arrived and couldn't hold the tears back. The situations also had an impression on Mary. She gave the time to talk to both patients, nurses and visitors. Wearing a white recycled blouse, a Prada pencil skirt and a pair of beige patent Miu Miu pumps she looked really great. I understand why everyone was drawn to her. Earrings and necklace are both from the Danish goldsmith Marianne Dulong. The earrings are made of squared Rosequartz such as the pendant on the necklace.

Per Thornit Celebrates His 70 Years Birthday!

June, 09

As a close friend, Crown Princes Frederik and his wife Crown Princess Mary attended Per Thornit's 70 years birthday party. Styleofmary wishes Per Thornit a Happy Birthday!

She stepped out of the car and was dresses in, what I always thought was a dress, a recycled skirt made of multi color layers. I think it was back in 2008 or 2009 she wore is for the first time. In her ears she wore red jade earrings from Jewlschp and her feet was dressed in black satin pumps from Prada to match the black blouse with the high neck. Not much to say besides: also in private she knows how to dress.

Revealing annual Christmas stamp 2012

10 June 2012

Crown Princess Mary has been patron of the Heart Association since 2005. She has attended the presentation of the annual Christmas stamp for many years now.

The money from selling the stamps goes directly to the Heart Association's work.

Look at our beautiful Crown Princess! I realized that the reason why I think she's so pretty is not only because of her appearance, it's the way she act as well. To be patron for the Heart Association (Hjerteforeningen) and by that give attention to others then herself, well that's makes her even more a real Princess to me. The picture of Mary on the new stamp is taken by photographer Steen Evald.

Thanks to Pernille I can tell that the new colorful dress is from Milly their Spring/Summer RTW 2012 collection. As on the new stamp she wore black Sea Pearl earrings from Marianne Dulong and matching navy blue Rupert Sanderson pumps. On the stamp she's wearing a light pink By Malene Birger blouse with rhinestones.

Beach walk in Juelsminde

10 June 2012

For several years, Crown Princess Mary has been the patron for the Heart Association.

The Heart Association has in collaboration with the Society for Nature Conservation arranged a little beach walk in Juelsminde and Crown Princess Mary was participating as guest of honor (here).

With a little girl and boy, each in one hand, she walked little over a kilometer on the beach in Juelsminde. The reason is that the two organizations want people to move more and get more exercise. This was the first walk, of hopefully many more, and it was inaugurated in Royal style. Mary also cut a red ribbon with the kids to open the walk. Dressed in normal jeans, a pair of sneakers and a navy blue Moncler vest. Mary was in a really good mood.

ARRIVIAL, NUUK
As patron of the Mary Fondation, Crown Princess Mary will be visiting Greenland to inaugurate that the foundations anti-bullying project "Free of Bullying" has now been implemented in a number of Greenlandic institutions.

On June 4th, the Crown Princess arrived in Nuuk. She was warmly welcomed in the airport by children and their parents, who all wanted a moment with the Crown Princess. She took plenty of time to greet as many as possible. She was even given a small bouquet of flowers on occasion of her arrival (here).

I am in love with what Mary was wearing at the arrival in Nuuk. The combination of a simple white turtleneck blouse, soft brownish checkered trousers and then that stunning white reused Hugo Boss coat. It makes a wonderful outfit. Perfect for traveling across the sea.

As accessories, Mary wore the most incredible white pearl earrings from Christian Dior. Took my quite awhile to realize Dior was the designer. I stumbled upon them by accident looking for something completely else. Love these findings.

I would really like to be able to identify her shoes one day, but I can't a the moment. Something I do know about, is her delicate handbag. It is from Prada.

ARRIVING AT HOTEL ARCTIC
Crown Princess Mary was staying at Hotel Arctic during her stay in Greenland (here). A couple of photographers captured her arriving to the hotel, where she was also going to have dinner in the evening.

Indeed, the photos are few from her arriving to the hotel but what we got tell us that Mary was wearing a lovely white turtleneck blouse and what I believe to be dark blue jeans. We also get a glimpse of, what turned out to be, a brand new down jacket from Moncler. Such as a quick moment showing her wearing a reused grey leather Prada bag.

Both earrings, necklace and its pendants are all creations from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen.

MEETING WITH...
Shortly after Crown Princess Mary arrived in Nuuk, Greenland, she had her first meeting with the department of family and the department of culture, education, science and church (here).

The meetings were to give her and the other participants a closer knowledge of what life is for many families, young people and children in Greenland.

Unfortunately, I have only been able to find photos taken from her arrival, when meeting with the two departments and she was wearing her white Hugo Boss coat once again. That makes it a bit difficult for me to say for sure what she wore underneath. My guess is a black skirt and something matching.

Mary embraced the style with fine custom-made earrings from Marianne Dulong and a golden bracelet from that same designer. Actually, her earrings are brand new.

She was also wearing a magnificent dusty pink patent leather clutch. I am dying to know where it is from. Any ideas? I really want to know. Looks amazing with the old Prada pumps and new earrings.

VISITING ILULISSAT
On her second day in Greenland, she paid a visit to the Jørgen Brøndlund School in Ilulissat (here). Here she also attended a "children's meeting" with pedagogues and children at the school.

It was wonderful seeing her with all the children. They were almost hypnotize by her presents. They absolutely adored the Crown Princess.

She had brought her camera with her, when visiting Ilulissat. Taking lots of photos of the impressive surrounding and the school children. Maybe a little "souvenir" from her visit to show the family - and perhaps also the rest of the foundations board members, when she is once back again.

During her day in Ilulissat, Mary had chosen a super comfortable and casual outfit. She matched her new down jacket from Moncler with a simple grey knitted sweater and dark jeans. What is not to like? What mattered was really just the children - and the fact that she needed to stay warm.

She also accessorized the outfit with brand new purple Ray Ban sunglasses. Not sure I liked them at first sight, but I have come to love them very much. The shape and color are quite unique. Special. Cool. Hope I will be able to identify Mary's new brown leather boots one day. They are super classy.

The fine and delicate diamond jewelleries are all from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. Love the stack of rings. Love that they are complimenting each other in different colors - silver, gold and yellow gold.

CHILDREN'S RELAY, ILULISSAT
The Crown Princess has already spend three days in Greenland along with the Mary Foundation to officially to inaugurate the foundations "Free of Bullying"-project in all of Greenland.

On her third day, she was still visiting Ilulissat to attend the Children's Relay. An activity connected to the "Free of Bullying"-project. The relay has taking place in Denmark for four years by now (here).

Lots of children from the Seminariet in Ilulissat participated the race. The first children crossing the finishing line were handed over golden medals from the Crown Princess.

At the relay, Mary was beautifully dressed in an old red knitted (?) Heartmade Julie Fagerholt jacket. She matched it with a neutral dark grey turtleneck and an a-line black Prada skirt. It is not my favorite outfit from her trip, but it is very inspirational. I often find it difficult to style grey. Mary shows how.

She embraced the outfit by wearing lovely black boots and stunning diamond jewellery from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. I'd really like to be able to identify her boots one day, but whenever I get started, I always end up where I started: with nothing. Any ideas?

RECEPTION
It has been some wonderful days for the Crown Princess (and us) in Greenland. She arrived in Nuuk on June 4th and now, four days later, she is soon going back to Denmark.

First, the Crown Princess had just one more event to attend. A reception and following dinner with the Mayor of Qaasuitsup Kommunia, Jess Svane (here). The dinner took place at Hotel Arctic, where the Crown Princess was also staying while being in Greenland.

Had really no idea what to expect from her for this dinner. She truly impressed me with her choice. An outstanding brand new blue Jayson Brunsdon dress. Just look at the details. The cap-sleeves, the fabric and that color. Wauw. And the neckline is so pretty.

She styled the new dress with delicate diamond earrings. I have never been able to identify them, but she has worn them before. I think they could be purchased on an auction. The fine brooch is actually from a Danish designer: Elise Gug.

Mary's beige clutch is also a Danish design. It is from Naledi Copenhagen. One of my favorite clutches of hers. About now, we all know that Mary's shiny patent leather pumps are from Jimmy Choo.

Years ago, Crown Princess Mary established the Mary Foundation and became their patron. One of the things the foundation has worked with is bullying amongst children and how to find tools to fight against it. Then "Free of Bullying" was created.

The project focuses on bullying amongst children and young people (here). One activity connected to the project it the Children's Relay, which is made in collaboration with Save the Children. Each year, many children runs in the relay as everyone receives a medal as proof that they have participated.

Seems like it was a wonderful day for all of them (here). The Crown Princess was in a splendid mood, having lots of fun with the children participating the relay in Fælledparken. She handed over as many golden medals as possible. She also participate the warm up because the run.

Mary has attended the relay for quite a few years now. Both in 2009 (here), 2010 (here) and 2011 (here). I always love these events. She is relaxed and just having a wonderful time with the children. Enjoying a day out in the sun. This is also reflected on what she is wearing.

This year, Mary wore the most magnificent outfit. Casual and comfortable, yet beautiful. She was wearing a lovely white button-down shirt, a bright blue cardigan and casual jeans. This truly reminds me that I have to wear cardigans more often. I am not good at that. Think they are something hard to style.

When she arrived, she flashed an old light brown trenchcoat from Burberry. I have never been able to find the exact same model. Hopefully, I will one day.

She then styles her "relay look" with snakeskin wedges from Lanvin and lovely red Prada sunglasses. Think it is the first time ever, we see her with a side braid. Go or no go? I adore it.

Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik were accompanied by her daughter-in-law when attending Fritz Schur's 60 years birthday party (here). Fritz Schur is a close personal friend of the royals.

He celebrated his birthday with 400 special invited guests at Falkonér in Copenhagen. A number of prominent artist gave concerts in honor of the birthday boy.

Wauw. Just look at her. Mary looked like a moviestar, when celebrating her friends birthday. She wore one of her oldest Prada dresses. It goes back to 2004 (here). She has worn it several times since then. Love it when she wears old-goodies like this Prada dress.

Mary embraced the golden dress with similar pieces of accessories. Like reused JewlsCPH earrings, a delicate ring and bracelet. Think it was clever of her to wear a minimum of jewellery. Makes the dress stand out even more and it deserve it.

Not to forget: Mary also styled her outfit with the most outstanding satin pumps from Christian Louboutin. I am baffled and stunned. Love the shade and shape. She then matched it all with a beloved Judith Leiber clutch.

Crown Princess Mary and Prince Christian watched an international friendly football match between Denmark and Australia in Parken Stadium in Copenhagen.

They showed up unofficially. Seems like mother and son had a wonderful moment together watching the game. Prince Christian is known to love football. He has also joined a football team as leisure activity.

The best of them attending the game in Parken, was that we got to see mother and son having a time together. Mary was dressed in a simple white turtleneck and a new Mauro Grifoni jacket. I have fallen madly in love with her new jacket. Can't really tell why I adore it so much. Maybe it is the whole outfit I like so much. Always loved Mary's private wardrobe - maybe even more than her official wardrobe.

She chose to embrace the outfit with chic black Mulberry ankle boots. A very edgy part of a rather soft and casual outfit. Mary first wore them at the premiere of "A royal affair" a few months prior to the football match (here).

The light grey leather handbag from Prada has been in her closet for a few years now. Never get tired of it.

Crown Princess Mary revealed a new portrait of herself made by the artist Gugger Petter (here). The portrait is made out of newspaper, similar to one the of the President Barack Obama (here). Now, they both are exhibited at Frederiksborg Palace.

We rarely gets to see Mary wear anything red but accessories. I am not complaining, but look at her. She is amazing in dress. This magnificent red dress is an old one from Hugo Boss. The detailing are incredible. Pleated neckline, 3/4 sleeves and of course the color. She has the same style dress in white and black as well.

She embraced the style with a beautiful beige embossed belt and matching Jimmy Choo pumps. Seems like she is very fund of these pumps because she has worn them quite a lot lately. The same is outstanding. Even the Naledi Copenhagen clutch matched the other pieces of accessories.

As jewellery, Mary had chosen elegant Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen earrings featuring moonstone pendants and a couple of golden Marianne Dulong Bracelet. Love this outfit. The simplicity and elegance are wonderful.

WWF World Wild Fund for Nature hosted a gala dinner to celebrate that Denmark has been member of the organization for 40 years. The dinner took place at the Orangeries in the rosegarden at Fredensborg Castle (here).

Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary, Prince Joachim and Princess Marie all attended the prestiges gala dinner along with a number of other guests. Among others, the General Secretary of WWF World Wild Fund for Nature Gitte Seeberg.

Both Queen Margrethe and her two daughters-in-laws looked smashing at the dinner. Mary caught my eyes immediately in her stunning colorful dress. She matched it with fitted black trousers. Actually, the dress was a gift from the designer Sï Hoàng. She was given the dress on a visit in Vietnam in 2009. Sï Hoàng creates traditional Vietnamese clothes.

According to this site, Mary visited the designers store in Port Palace lap HCMC, when she was on sightseeing back in 2009, to get her measures made to create the perfect fitted dress. Another funny thing is that the legendary Barbie (here) were a dress inspired by one of his collections "Aodal".

Beautiful as the dress is her huge JewlsCPH earrings. They make it even more difficult to stop the stare. She first wore these earrings at the wedding of Peter Heering and Sara Halbeitzer in 2011 (here). We also get a glimpse of a rather large orange ring. Never identified. Think it is inherited or purchased on auction.

Love that she matched the black trousers with simple black satin pumps from Prada and her reused glitter box clutch from Sergio Rossi.

On May 30th, Crown Princess Mary attended the inauguration of TrygFonden's new Family Houses, in Aarhus (here).

The family homes are for families part of TrygFonden's Family House-project with children who have been or are suffering from an illness.

The best part has to be all the happy and smiling children welcoming her. She is indeed an amazing Crown Princess. She took plenty of time talking to the children. It was wonderful to see the Crown Princess and all the families.

There were indeed children everywhere. Everybody wanted a moment with her - and all wanted to help her cutting the red ribbon to officially open the new facilities.

Mary had chosen a rather natural color-palette for the inauguration in Aarhus. A really incredible outfit. Love how she wore several pieces in the same tone of color. The smashing blazer has finally been identified as Ralph Lauren. I had that designer in mind all along, but was never able to prove it. Mary  embraced the style with a white BOSS Black Hugo Boss dress. Beautiful! Probably the reason why she has a couple of them in different colors.

The white pearl earrings are custom-made ones from Marianne Dulong and the diamond rings are Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen designs.

To match the rest of the outfit, she wore nude patent leather pumps from Jimmy Choo and her Naledi Copenhagen clutch from their FW 2011-2012 collection. Another detail that caught my eye (and yours) is her belt. A rather large snakeskin belt. It goes back to even before she became Crown Princess of Denmark. Years have passed and now I finally now that it is a Prada belt.

Crown Prince Frederik celebrated his 44th birthday today. The very same day, Dannebrog celebrates its 80th anniversary (here). Danneborg is the royal family's yacht.

The family has spend many (many) hours on board Dannebrog both when going on visits in different Danish cities, for receptions and abroad on official visits.

The entire Danish family member participated in the celebrations of Crown Prince Frederik and Danneborg. What a day!

This is truly a stunning summer outfit. Mary was wearing a brand new white and navy blue striped Baum und Pferdgarten dress. The details are exquisite. Very simple in style but so beautiful. Love how she shaped her slim silhouette with that white crochet belt. Did you know that the belt is a reuse from 2004?

In a complementary beige color, she embraced the style with her rather new Chanel handbag and white slingback's from Jimmy Choo. Love the model of these heels. Wish Mary would wear Jimmy Choo's more often, because they look so good on her.

She also flashed some old pieces. Like the custom-made white pearl earrings and matching ring. Both created by Marianne Dulong. This outfit is so casual, yet classy and outstanding. 10 points go to Mary!

The band of the Danish Royal Life Guards played a concert at the Royal Theatre on Mary 24th (here).

Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary, Prince Joachim and Princess Marie were all invited to attend the concert.

The amazing raspberry red dress is actually a pretty old dress from Prada. It also comes with a matching coat in the same stunning color. Mary first wore the dress in 2004, when visiting Aarhus along with her husband (here). So far, we haven't seen her wear the coat with or without the dress, which is truly a shame. It is incredibly beautiful.

At the concert, Mary had chosen to embraced the style of her dress with earrings and a bracelet from Queen Ingrid's Ruby Parure. A set Crown Prince Frederik inherited from his grandmother for his future wife to wear. Later on, Mary added a ring to the parure with the help from Marianne Dulong's talented creators.

Only a couple of days prior to the christening in Stockholm, Sweden, the Crown Prince Couple attended the beautiful christening of Princess Athena - Prince Joachim and Princess Marie's little girl (here).

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary were accompanied by Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik for the christening of Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel's firstborn (here).

The church ceremony was wonderful. Crown Princess Mary was given the honor of becoming the godmother of Princess Estelle Silvia Ewa Mary. She was even named after her. What a lovely gesture.

Since the broadcast from the christening every single media have been honoring Mary as "the best dressed woman" at the christening. I get it. She looked simply stunning! Like a golden dream. Her smashing golden dress is from Strenesse. She first wore it in 2007 on an official visit in Romania (here) and then again a couple of years later, when visiting Vietnam in 2009 (here). Loved it ever since. In Stockholm, she matched it with a white tweed coat. Think it is costum-made.

Mary also styled the outfit with an incredible Jane Taylor hat. First worn in Monaco a few months ago at the weeding of Prince Albert and Charlene Wittstock (here). Looked great with the dress and iconic Christian Louboutin pumps.

As jewellery, she had chosen golden earrings and bracelets. All creations from Marianne Dulong. Mary's all time favorite jewellery designer. The watch is an old one from Cartier and the fine handbag is from Chanel. She really wore some very famous brands at the christening.

Family and friends were invited to Møgeltønder Church to attend the christening of Prince Joachim and Princess Marie's little Princess (here).

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary attended the christening along with Prince Christian and Princess Isabella. Wonderful children.

The christening was a beautiful ceremony. Magical. The little new princess was named: Athena Marguerite Françoise Marie. A really lovely name. Official photos of the family was later published (here).

All the best wishes from all of us to the family! ♥

What a wonderful family! The four of them looked so happy and were all smiles. I'm sure it reminded Frederik and Mary of when their own children were christened. An amazing day for both family and friends attending the christening of little Princess Athena.

Mary and her beautiful little Princess Isabella were both dressed in lovely shades of blue. Mary was wearing a brand new Project D. by Dannii and Tabitha dress featuring navy blue birds and a peplum skirt. I really like the 3/4 sleeves with this dress.

The patent leather navy blue Rupert Sanderson pumps matched beautifully both dress and blue topaz earrings. They are designed by Diane von Furstenberg for H. Stern Jewelry. I have found a pair of similar earrings in a different shape. Very simple, yet super elegant and classy.

She accessorized this stunning outfit with a black satin box clutch from Prada and her expensive diamond watch from Georg Jensen.

15 May 2012

On their 6th and last day in South Korea, Crown Princess Mary met with unmarried young mother's and their wonderful children. She gave all the time in the world to listen to the mothers personal stories (here).

What was most amazing today, was her being surrounded by all these sweet children. Their happy faces and smiles melted all our hearts - also Crown Princess Mary's heart. Seems like they had a great time.

Mary was dresses in a brand new DAY Birger et Mikkelsen black and white dress. First, I had a completely other designer in mind, but it turned out to be a Danish designer dress. An unusual print for her to wear, but I like it. She rocked it.

Think my heart stopped for a second, when I realized Mary was wearing new bright red Christian Louboutin pumps. The color is simply outstanding! I am thrilled about everything from color to shape, heel and toe. Wish these heels were in my personal wardrobe.

As jewellery, Mary had chosen fine diamond earrings and a beloved Georg Jensen ring. A lovely balance with the rest of the outfit.

When the couple later visited the DAY Birger et Mikkelsen pop-up stores in the Shinsegae Department, they got the chance to try on a number of glasses and sunglasses from Fleye. She looks nice with glasses. We even got a glimpse of her wearing shades from Ray Ban during the day.

Visiting the pop-up store, Mary added a stunning bright orange clutch to her outfit. After a long time, I am proud to have identified it as Marc Jacobs.

What do you think of red pumps and that orange clutch as a match?

COOKING SHOW
Crown Princess Mary participated a cooking-show at the Grand Hyatt, where the owner of the restaurant AOC, Christian Arøe hosted the royal visit (here).

It was a wonderful sight to see the Crown Princess and Christian Arøe making æbleskiver. 'Æbleskiver' is Danish specialty. Small fried balls of pancake-like-dough. Seems like the two of them had a joy of fun in each others company.

I am very thrilled about Mary's outfit today. She matched a brand new lace pencil skirt from Hennes & Mauritz with a new DAY Birger et Mikkelsen tunic. The skirt is from Hennes & Mauritz's Conscious Fall 2011 collection. It is an incredible outfit!

It is not the first time she wears those stunning embossed snakeskin sandals. Till now, I have not been able to place an ID, but now I am. Mary's beautiful heeled sandals are from Ralph Lauren. She matched the sandals with a fine Carlend Copenhagen clutch and elegant custom-made earrings from Marianne Dulong.

GALA DINNER
In the evening, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary attended a gala dinner at Hotel Shilla as guests of honor.

It was indeed a magical evening. The couple seemed to enjoy each others company. Just look at her smile and his when he was looking at her.

Mary showed up in a brand new lace dress! It has not been possible for me to find it anywhere. So frustrating. It has the most magnificent classic shape. Så 50s with the full skirt, fitted waist and high neckline. If you happen to know anything about it, I would really like to hear from you.

Even her hairstyle at the dinner had a 50s vibe. Yes, it is "just" a simple ponytail but it looked marvelous with the rest of her outfit. Perfect hairstyle to show the custom-made Cenius & Bach earrings. Did you know that these earrings comes with several different pendants? - and that they gold her monogram on the backside? - and that a blue stone has been hidden somewhere to symbolize her royalty?

Mary also matched the outfit with champagne-colored Christian Louboutin pumps and golde bracelets.
