AmCham: 15th anniversary

Wednesday, October 29th

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary attended an event celebrating the 15th anniversary of the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) which took place at Moltkes Palace, Copenhagen.

Feel like quite a long time since we have had a real gala dinner with floor-length evening gown and a menu suited if it was for a Queen. It kinda was, at least a future Queen attended with Denmark's future King. Maybe not the best introduction. So let us try one more time. The Crown Prince couple attended the celebrating AmCham that stands for the American Chamber of Commerce, 15th anniversary. The gala dinner took place at Moltkes Palace in Copenhagen and around pm. 6:30 Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary arrived as the last participating guests. US Ambassador Rufus Gifford and his husband also attended the prestigious dinner such as a member of the Danish Parliament. If I am correct, we only have pictures from the arrival and not from the dinner which I of course understand. Sure they enjoyed the evening; seemed like the couple were in a really great mood -all one smily face.

An official gala dinner like this one takes the right evening dress. I tend to say 'of course' Mary had chosen to twist that dress code a bit, because she showed up wearing an asymmetric jacquard skirt custom-made by Jayson Brunsdon with a black wrap blouse. The skirt has actually been seen once before. Do you remember when? Let me help you. Mary wore this elegant skirt on the pictures in an edition of Australian Women's Weekly, here. Back then she wore it with a sleeveless blouse featuring a deep V-neck. I kinda like that better than the one from the gala dinner. Which one do you prefer? She had matched the blue flowers from the skirt with a pair of aquamarine blue earrings from Annikat such as a (huge!) square ring. Both blouse, clutch and lace Gianvito Rossi pumps were all black. The perfect way to keep all attention to that incredible evening skirt. Maybe I would have preferred a pair of plain black pumps or maybe even burgundy pumps in the same colour as the nail polish and berry lips. But it is really just thought. Differently not a disappointing outfit; one I would love to see at another occasion.

New ambassadors at Healthcare Denmark

Thursdag, Ocbtober 28th

Crown Princess Mary met with the representatives of Healthcare Denmark's ambassador network, as patron of Healthcare Denmark

The Crown Princess is really busy these days. First a two days visit to Tajikistan then the presentation of the annual Christmas Seal and now she attended a reception with representatives of Healthcare Denmark which was about to announce new ambassador's. It all took place at Børsen in Copenhagen. Members were participating from both Germany, Great Britain and the United States of America. All leading experts within healthcare. Mary was the one to enter the stage as the first person to give the opening speech. Here she spoke about the ambassador network; what it is doing, trying to do and the benefits of keeping in contact with each other internationally when it comes to improving healthcare solutions. It doesn't really get better than this; Mary in the stage talking about everything she works for which is done with such candor and commitment. They can't find a better spokesperson than her.

This time we didn't have to wait long for pictures, which is always a pleasure. Everything about her outfit looks great and is very appropriate. At the arrival she wore her black Prada coat. Kate is the one sending me pictures of a Hugo Boss dress that looks exactly like the one she was wearing at the event, however I doubt it is the right colour she has found. To me Mary's dress look a bit more like dark green or something in that direction. Because the dress is quite simple, I think it is great she chose to wear a few more accessories. First we have a pair of magnificent earrings from Jewlscph, a golden Cartier watch and of course that incredible golden necklace from Orit Elhanati. Have ever noticed that it is bit asymmetric? We also have the Shamballa Jewls bracelet. Carlend Copenhagen and SAND Copenhagen are the designers behind her croco clutch and black leather clutch. Not much to say other than great! Love the balance between simple, elegant and everyday chic.

Presentation of this years christmas stamp

Monday, October 27th

Crown Princess Mary attended the presentation of this years Christmas stamp as patron of the Christmas Seal Foundation

For Mary to attend the annual presentation of the Christmas stamp, has become a tradition I think. A really great one. One I look forward to. She is always in a great mood, relaxed and down on earth. Well, she usually is but something is a bit different about this. I really can't tell what it is, maybe you can? This year was no exception. Mary was in a splendid mood and seemed to enjoy herself. The annual Christmas stamp's are designed for the Christmas Seal Foundation, which Mary is patron of, to earn money to children who lives at the so called 'Christmas Seal homes'. Here they get help to gain more confidence or if the children are troubled with weight problems. The Christmas Seal Foundation have 13 ambassadors that count among others Countess Sussie of Rosenborg. This year's Christmas stamp's are designed by graphic artist Jacob Kühne. Together, he and the Crown Princess revealed the stamp's which had been covered up until the presentation.

The amazing Kate has found out that Mary is not wearing a dress (as I first thought...). Actually it is a a navy blue blouse from Baum und Pferdgarten and blue skirt. The great Caroline8 has made me aware, that it’s not the first time Mary has worn the skirt, it is the third the time. First when she turned 40, here,  and then in 2012 when she attended the Save a mothers life, on mothers day, hereevent. I don't know if you remember the earrings? We have differently seen them before. Caroline8 also noted that they could be inherited from her mother-in-law Queen Margrethe -and they are, here. You get a close-up down below from a previous occasion. She also wore the beautiful golden necklace from Orit Elhanati (2014 collection). Many of you may have noticed the rather large ring on her right hand, here, so have I. I know absolutely nothing about it or who could have made it. The size of the ring, the shape and colors surprise me a bit but it looks beautiful. Another thing to notice is differently the burgundy Prada pumps on her feet.  I like that she has chosen this colour instead of the same as the rest of the outfit. The burgundy colour gives the outfit something exciting to look at. Last but not least we have the gorgeous Quidam clutch!

Day 2. Visiting Tajikistan

Friday, October 24th

Crown Princess Mary is visiting Tajikistan from October 23rd to 24th as patron and member of the WHO Regional Office for Europe.

Crown Princess Mary during her second day in Tajikistan

A two days visit is simply just not enough. But we have to get the best out of it. On her second and last day in Tajikistan the Crown Princess visited the Medical University in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan as the first thing in the morning. Actually only very little was unusual but it was a big thing for Mary because she won an award for her hard and committed work in the field to promote health issues in Tajikistan as well as around the world. Focusing on healthcare is also one of the main reasons why she is on this two day visit. Later in the afternoon she visited a local taekwondo club for both boys and girls who proudly showed the Crown Princess what they had learned. Visiting the taekwondo club was primarily to see which actions can be done to help combat gender-based violence.

Visiting a medical university and a teakwondo club the same say takes an outfit that can do both. Think Mary had found a great combination with a look that was both comfortable, practical and really good-looking at the same time. She was wearing her white and beige tweed skirt from Dolce & Gabbana worn at one occasion before this one. For quite a while I have been searching to find the right model. Till now I have only been able to find it as a jacket and dress, but no skirt. With some help if has now been tracked down! We only have very few pictures from her second and last day in Tajikistan (which really is a shame...) that made it a bit harder to identify what blouse she was wearing. As you know, it only takes one single picture which I was able to find. So, Mary wore a brand new blouse featuring a white collar. Thanks for Catherine it was been identified as ZARA. She embrace the style with a pair of white pearl earrings from Marianne Dulong, a golden Orit Elhanati necklace and two diamond rings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. From what I see, it is her black pointed pumps from SAND Copenhagen she is wearing.

Crown Princess Mary attending a reception

After a rather short last day in Tajikistan the Crown Princess attended a reception in the evening, of course as guest of honor. The reception took place at one of Tajikistan's finest hotels in Dushanbe. The reception began with a speech given by the WHO Regional Director for Europe Dr Zsuzsanna Jakab, who praised Mary for her work and commitment. From what I have been able to find out, then Mary was very honored of Dr Jakab's words. The Crown Princess and WHO Regional Director for Europe have been working together on several occasions for a few years now.

Mar showed up wearing one of her most incredible purple dress; an old deep purple dress from Prada which I have always thought was from Hugo Boss -it is not, just to make sure. It features some dazzling details on the upper part. She matched the dress with a pair of Cenius & Bach earrings and her golden twisted Orit Elhanati necklace. To top it off her eye makeup was in the same lovely purple colour! Unfortunately that is all I see from that one photo I have found. I would really like to have seen which pair of shoes she had chosen and if she was carrying a clutch, she might has.

This was all for now. It has been two wonderful days for all of us. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did!

Crown Princess Mary is visiting Tajikistan for two days as member and patron of the WHO Regional Office for Europe, focusing on maternal- and child health.

Crown Princess Mary during her day in Tajikistan

The last couple of years the Crown Princess has spend much of her working time (maybe even spare time) committed to work with improvement on healthcare. Especially when it comes maternal- and child health Mary has used her voice to speak out laud. Now she is on a two days official visit in Tajikistan to see for herself what they have been doing to improve healthcare for women with newborns and the children. The Crown Princess is also introduced to initiatives about vaccines and how they have helped improving the WHOs european region's health situation. On her first day she visited the pediatric department in the capital city Dushanbe followed by a visit at the local hospital in Varzob. Here she attended the inauguration of a so called 'vaccine day'. In Varzob she also payed a visit to Chorbogh, a rehabilitation center for children. A wonderful day in Tajikistan.

Usually I have high expectations when Mary is abroad, but this time I didn't. I really don't know why. Maybe I was just ready to be surprised. And I was! In a very positive way. Mary was dressed like a graceful waterlily in her old Prada (RTW Spring 2004) skirt and powder pink silk blouse (from same designer as the skirt)! When Mary turned 40 some really amazing pictures were taken of her for Berlingske (a Danish newspaper) where she wore the exact same blouse, here. The main reason why I mention this is because some of you might want to have a closer look at the blouse. Even her cardigan, which looks new to me, was in the same magnificent colour as the blouse. The combination of the pink top and the grey pencil skirt is simply outstanding. The pencil skirt was seen first time back in 2004, here, when she attended the opening of the art museum ARoS in Aarhus. At the arrival to Tajikistan she wore a short jacket, also in pink which has been seen at a previous occasion before this one. It was when she attended the kidneys day in 2014, here. She embrace the elegant style with one of her nude bags from Prada, rose quartz earrings from Marianne Dulong and a couple of diamond rings from Ole Lynggaard. These are the earrings she was wearing the day we saw little Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine for the first time, here. Good memories! Think I also see her golden Shamballa Jewels bracelet featuring a pink diamond ball. To match the bag Mary wore a pair of nude Christian Louboutin pumps.

Crown Princess Mary attending dinner

It was a guest of honor the Crown Princess attended a dinner in the evening which took place at Asia Grande Hotel in Dushanbe. Everything was perfectly decorated when Mary arrived. Flowers were arranged on the beautifully decorated tables. Before the dinner was about to take place, she and a few others got the opportunity to taste some local baked bread, something she seemed to enjoy. Also Minister of Healthcare Salimzoda were invited to attend the fine dinner. I have only been able to find very little information about what happened, but what I know for sure is that a some kind of entertainment entertained during the evening, because right next to the tables was a stage.

A dinner takes the perfect outfit, no doubt about that. Think you would probably say the same. No real dinner without the right outfit. What Mary did was show up in the most incredible (new) blue dress featuring some wonderful ruffle details and a something to show of her rather thin waist. For hours have I tried to figure out where this little wonder might be from, but so far I have not been able to find anything that comes near this. Marc Jacobs is the first designer that came to me and he still is the one I think designed this new dress but I can't find a thing. What do you think? Any ideas? Unfortunately we only have very few pictures from the dinner, such as very little information. What I see from the pictures is her black pearl Marianne Dulong bracelet and a large pair of colourful earrings. As the dress, I would really like to find out where the earrings are from. So if you have any ideas I'd love to hear from you.

Watching 'Tosca' in the Opera

Sunday, October 12th

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary watched the opera Tosca in the Opera, Copenhagen.

Princessesblog76.blogspot.com

Really, the Cron Princess is so busy these days. Sorry that my posts are a little delayed, but I have much to do right now. Luckily, I have patient readers that have the time to wait for my posts. Well, Frederik and Mary spend their afternoon together at the Opera in Copenhagen watching Tosca. It was first played back in 1910 and multiple times after, as  back in 2006 and 2011. Now the opera is performed all over again because of the major success and this time the Crown Prince couple were invited as guests of honor. The Opera is placed right across Frederik VIIIs palace with only a canal separating them, which is why they went for a little walk before the little boat trip. Something I really never get tired of. Both seemed in a wonderful mood. The couple were quite popular a both sides of the canal. I have the feeling this more like a private evening for the two of them, than a public event in their official calendar. But it was. Leaving the Opera I sense they had enjoyed the evening watching Tosca.

White Frederik was in a classy suit, his wife was dressed in an elegant white and navy blue outfit. I love when Mary wears that navy blue colour. It makes her look so beautiful and as usual then it was a very well-done outfit with all it takes! Everything matched perfectly. A detail that made her look even more stunning the diamond earrings from Marianne Dulong featuring blue pendants which can be changed, but this time she had chosen a pair of blue drop shaped stones. Over that navy blue Prada dress, she wore a white Prada jacket with large white buttons. It’s a jacket we have seen her wear several times before and if I’m right also with this specific dress. Since we saw the dress the first time so many people have been looking almost everywhere to find it, including myself. After a while she once showed up in a similar dress but without the peplum around the waist. Some guessed that she might had been altered but I do not believe in that. It’s not something Mary does often with ready-to-wear pieces like this one. And actually I was right; the dress is not altered. It comes with a detachable peplum. As simple as that the mystery has been solved about the two similar dresses. Two other accessories perfectly matching the rest of the blue outfit, is the Rupert Sanderson pumps and a clutch from Quidam. First I had Carlend Copenhagen in mind but quickly I found out that is was not correct. Pernille is the reason why her Quidam clutch has been found.

The schools exercise day 2014

Friday, October 10th

Crown Princess Mary visited Arena school in Greve on the schools national exercise day. The Crown Princess is patron for School for 200 years which was the reason for her visit.

Bt.dk

All year we have celebrated one specific thing in Denmark; the fact that we have been able to go to school for now 200 years! Yes, 200 years. That is just incredible and worth celebrating. It also takes the right patron and who else then Crown Princess Mary of Denmark is able to represent this project? No, right? So she has participated in multiple events already in different cities all around Denmark the past year. It is also the main reason why she was invited to attend the schools national exercise day at Arena school in Greve. Here Mary was welcomed with waving flags, flowers and smiles by the school's pupils. Also Minister of Education Christine Antorini was present at the event. During her time at Arena school she was the one giving the sign for a run to begin, she had fun with balloons and seemed like she had all the time in the world talking with the kids. "12 points goes to Mary" for her sincerity and calmness.

While the children were dressed for physical activity, Mary had chosen a pair of new black wedges boots (unfortunately, not identified yet), black trousers and a matching shirt. But of course this was not the first we noticed, that new colourful Etro coat was. I assume it is from their 2013 collection based on the date the article is dated with. It features lovely long sleeves and a magnificent pattern. She embraced the rather relaxed style by wearing her golden Cartiér watch, a pair of diamond earrings and two golden Marianne Dulong rings featuring two different stones. Well, that did not sound very relaxed or casual at all. She was also wearing a few bracelets, among others a multi coloured rubber bracelet (very popular among kids these days) and her golden bracelet from Shamballa Jewels seen countless times before at all kind of occasions. But the best part -her smile!

The Mary Foundation's Network project

Wednesday, October 8th

Crown Princess Mary visited the business school Tietgen in Odense on occasion of school using the Mary Foundation's project Netverk

Yesterday was simply amazing! Love to watch the arrival of the royal family members when the Danish Parliament is about to be opened for a new year. If you missed my post, you'll find it here. Well, that was all yesterday. Today the Crown Princess visited Tietgen business school in Odense, all because the school works with one of the Mary Foundation's project Network -or Netverk in Danish. The project is working to prevent and reduce loneliness among young people, here, which is just one of the Mary Foundation's focus areas. It was in a splendid mood the Crown Princess arrived to Odense accompanied by her lady-in-waiting Christine Pii Hansen. She was warmly welcomed with handshakes, flowers and wide smiles. Shortly after the arrival the Crown Princess entered the stage in front of several hundreds students and gave the opening speech on why loneliness is such an important topic to talk about. Afterwards, Mary took plenty of time talking to as many students as possible before she left Odense.

It was no warm day when Mary visited Tietgen school. Nether the less she had chosen no jacket, just a simple black blazer from Helmut Lang to keep her warm. Think it is the second time she's wearing that blazer. To match this Mary wore a dazzling new black and white printed dress which has taken me quite a while to figure out where is from. To make sure, then I am not the one identifying it. The dress was found at Julie Brandt and designer I do not think Mary has ever worn before. It is always great to get to know new brands and it's even better when Mary is the one introducing us! By the way, notice the very chic detail with the leather lapel. For a looooong time I was so sure her black pointed were from the designer L.K. Bennett, but you keep learning. A picture appeared online, here, and they have now been identified as SAND Copenhagen, a Danish brand just like the dress. Trying to find the pumps this designer crossed my mind, but it is pretty hard finding anything from this specific brand. I want to thanks all of you who have helped my trying to track down her shoes! Other then the black pumps, Mary embrace a everyday chic outfit with earrings and ring both from Jewlscph, such as a Carlend Copenhagen clutch.

Opening of the Parliament 2014

Tuesday, October 7th

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary attended the annual opening of the Danish Parliament taking place each year on the first Tuesday in October.

Princessesblog76.blogspot.com

There are so many annual occasions to look forward to each year when being a royalist. One of them is differently the opening of the Danish Parliament, something Mary and Frederik has attended every year since their marriage in 2004 expect from 2005. That year Frederik attended on his own because Mary was heavily pregnant with their first born child, Prince Christian. He was born less than ten days later. Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik, Prince Joachim and Princess Marie and Princess Benedikte also attended the opening as usual. All four women were given a beautiful bouquet of flowers at the arrival after which they all found their seats on the balcony in big parliament hall (which indeed is a magnificent place to be).

I am deeply in love with what I see!! She was so graceful, elegant and polished wearing a new white coat, new purple pumps, a new purple pill box hat and matching leather gloves. A true 50's/60's outfit, in my opinion the most glamorous time of them all. Her new pill box hat has now been identified by Heaven as a Jane Taylor (AW14) creation. Thanks for the help! Every detail of this outfit is just perfect. It was love a first sight when I first saw her new white coat. Magnificent design and lovely details featuring golden buttons at front. To find this coat hasn't been easy for me and I'm not the one to credit this time, because the sweet and wonderful reader Heaven was also able to identified the coat as Chloé. Once again, thanks. I know I will never have such coat (even though I would really like to!) still you are allowed to dream, just a little bit. Both bracelet and matching earrings are from Marianne Dulong. On her right hand she wore 3 thin silver rings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen and the stunning gold bracelet are made by Shamballa Jewels. The little checkered clutch in black/white is one we have seen before, which I’m very sure comes from Prada. If you know more about it and have other information’s please let me know. Until then, it’s a Prada design ;)

I know you all love Mary's outfit, as much as I do, and find her looks very inspirational. Many of you have expressed how much you like watching her old outfits and this is really a great time to share pictures of old outfit. This is why I have gathered pictures of all her previous outfits attending the opening of the Parliament from 2004 till 2013.

Award ceremony of FSR

Monday, October 6th

Crown Princess Mary attended the award ceremony of FSR (Danish Auditors) taking place at Børsen, Copenhagen.

Over 20 times have the FSR awards be handed over. 20 times, that is pretty much. This year, actually I believe Mary has attended more than once, attended the Crown Princess to hand over the awards to the winners. Along with a few words, Mary entered the stage and announced the four winners. Best Corporate Sustainability Responsibility (CSR) report was given to AP Møller Mærsk. CEO of AP Møller Mærsk Nils Smedegaard Andersen gave a short speech followed by a group photo of all the winners with the Crown Princess standing in the middle. Mary was also the one to hand over a anniversary diploma to Novozymes.

Arriving to Børsen in Copenhagen, Mary was dressed in the most incredible (and stunning) white dress! Featuring some dazzling details. I want to thanks all of you who have helped me trying to identify this new dress. What you, my lovely readers, found out it that JOSEPH is the creator of this wonder. Perfectly matching the dress she embrace the style by wearing white pearl earrings from Marianne Dulong. A pair of earrings she has worn countless times before, at all kind of occasions. Anything from gala dinners to everyday event. Don't think I will ever be tired of these. Another thing we have seen her wear multiple times before is her nude, low, Christian Louboutin pumps featuring that characteristic red sole. What makes this outfit outstanding is the studded belt. I still do not know where it is from, but I keep thinking of Valentino's Rockstud shoes and clutches. She matched both shoes and belt with her beige suede Hugo Boss clutch. A simple and stylish outfit, that is pretty easy to copy if you fancy that.

City walk in Næstved

Monday, October 6th

Crown Princess Mary visited Næstved and participated in a city walk with a school class. It was on occasion of the project Schools for 200 year's as the Crown Princess is patron for.

Celebrating the 200th anniversary of the school in Denmark is really a big deal and I truly understand why. It is indeed an important thing to celebrate. As patron of the Schools for 200 year's Mary has already attended several events on this occasion. Yesterday she visited Næstved to participate in a city walk along with a school class. Arriving to Næstved she was warmly welcomed, not only by a bunch of school kids, but also city mayor and Minister of Education Christine Antorini. From the second the Crown Princess arrived till she left going back to Copenhagen, Mary was in a splendid mood (despite the windy weather). She was one big smile. To me it seems like she was having lot of fun and enjoying herself along with all the young people, who also seemed to enjoy her company. Who wouldn't enjoy Mary's company? Warm, kind, down on earth. No doubt this was a great day for all of them.

As perfect as the day was, as perfect was Mary's outfit. I am completely blown away by everything I see. The navy blue colour is a winner. Probably the most beloved colour for Scandinavian women during autumn and winter -besides black, of course. A trend Mary embrace beautifully. It is not the first time we see her wear something navy blue and it is truly a success again. Personally I'm also a huge fan of this colour and is very fond of wearing anything blue. Absolutely love the combo with the oversize Massimo Dutti coat, a white button-down shirt and that tight jeans. Makes a great look! Accessorizing her outfit with a pair of Isabel Marant shoes, just makes it even more amazing. You do remember these boots, right? Think the first time we saw them was during the family's visit in Greenland not that long ago. Then we have the flower earrings which are from Jewlscph and this time a single diamond ring from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. What can I say more than; dazzling! I imagine myself in something similar soon.

School in Denmark for 200 year

Saturday, October 4th

Crown Princess Mary was invited to attend the anniversary show celebrating school in Denmark for 200 years. The show was hosted by Denmark's Radio.

Dr.dk

We are so spoiled these days! Another anniversary can be celebrated that we have had compulsory education, which meant free school for all for 200 years now. Of course that has to be celebrated and who better than the Crown Princess to attend this celebration? No, right. The school gives children a lot of skills such as literacy and numeracy, which both helps to develop them, but also is beneficial in the future. The Crown Princess is patron of the project, another reason for her to attend. She was really in a splendid mood when she arrived to Denmark's Radio in Copenhagen. Here she was welcomed by Denmark's Radio's Director Maria Rørbye Rønn and Minister of Education Christine Antorini. This event is just one of many others taking place during 2014 to celebrate the 200th anniversary.

I am completely blown away by what Mary was wearing at the anniversary show! I absolutely adore her in that purple Prada dress which was found by Heaven, it looks magnificent on her. The colour and shape are incredible, even the neckline looks smashing. She was so good-looking in that dress and then she matched the outfit with leopard pumps from Gianvito Rossi. So clever! Never would have thought about that myself, but now I simply have to try it (first I just need a pair of leopard pumps and a purple dress). Yet another proof that Mary is differently not afraid of wearing colours. In another shade of purple she wore her satin Anya Hindmarch clutch. After quite some time I am even able to tell you where her earrings are from, it has taken me quite some time and some help, but they have now been found at Annikat. They feature pink and yellow stones, as well as diamonds. Then we also have the golden Shamballa Jewels bracelet and one from Marianne Dulong. Love her curly hair and glamours makeup. Perfect for an evening like this!

Nordic Women Against Violence 2014

Friday, October 3rd

Crown Princess Mary attended the opening of the conference Nordic Women Against Violence 2014.

Last couple of year the Crown Princess has shared her sincere commitment to social work, among others bullying, domestic violence, loneliness etc. The list goes on for quite some time. Now it was time for once again to speak out loud and be the voice of the voiceless. This was why she attended the opening of the conference Nordic Women Against Violence 2014 taking place from October 3-5th at Scandic Copenhagen. She attended as patron of LOKK -a national organization of women's shelters. The conference was officially opened by Mary given a speech on the occasion, speaking about the importance of focusing of this topic. More than once Mary has expressed that to change something we have to speak about; say it out loud. Exactly what she did. A few women had the opportunity to speak with Mary and tell their story.

Only a few few pictures have been published from the opening of the conference and once again I wonder why? At such as large event, I would have expected many more journalists and photographers. Enough about that. We have some pictures, just enough to tell you how Mary had chosen be to dressed at the opening. Slowly we are headed for fall, something that was very clear when looking at the Crown Princess' outfit at the conference. She had matched a new army green blouse featuring rivets from SAND Copenhagen and a new blazer in a similar colour. This has been found by Sophie at ZARA (AW14). Thank you so much for sharing your findings with me and my readers! Very edgy and chic. Then she was dressed in black trousers and patent pumps in the same dark colour. At work, like this was here, Mary often uses her black Bottega Veneta bag. So did she at the opening. Marianne Dulong is the designer of the black pearl earrings. Think I see a ring too on her right hand, but I simply can't tell which one it is because the lack of pictures. Have you seen something that indicate which one it is?

'Equal Love Silver Anniversary'

Wednesday, October 1st

Crown Princess Mary attended the opening of a exhibition on occasion of Denmark celebrating the 25th anniversary of registered couples of the same sex. It took place in the City Hall, Copenhagen.

Denmark has been first movers more than once and now it's time again to celebrate one of these thing; the 25th anniversary of registered couples of the same sex in Denmark. A big day. Who else to invite other than the Crown Princess? The woman who fight for equality. This is the reason why Mary arrived to the City Hall in Copenhagen, to attend the celebrations. And indeed there is something to celebrate. Though I have the feeling that Mary tried to take a step back, attention seemed to reach her no matter what. With sincere commitment she found her way to several groups where she was quickly conversed with everybody around her. I truly admire how Mary is always able to talk to everybody she meets, wish I had this strong ability. No one does it the way the Crown Princess does. It was not just a good day for the other participants, also Mary seems to be particularly proud of what was being celebrated.

On this great occasion Mary was dressed in a brand new Signe Bøgelund-Jensen (AW14) dress featuring long sleeves and beautiful draping's at front. The dress is from her latests collection called Secrets. Even the name of the collection amaze me. Since the first time Mary wore Bøgelund-Jensen's designed have I wished to see her in many more of her creations, as we did at the reception at the City Hall. Keeping everything polished, stylish and of course sophisticated she was wearing grey in all shades. It was the amazing blogger behind Princess Watchers that I learned about her new grey suede pumps, which she identified as Gianvito Rossi. Seems like one of her favourite shoes designers right now and I absolutely understand why! Incredible shoes. Earrings and the black pearl bracelet are both from Marianne Dulond and were a wonderful match to the rest of her look. Of course we also have a couple of other golden bracelet, where I know the identify of one of them -Shamballa Jewels. For sure you also noticed the new clutch. Can't really decide whether or not it's a splendid match or a "strange" match. Some colours would be preferred. I imagine this dress with colourful or maybe even printed accessories one day. Never mind; the beautiful python clutch is a Carlend Copenhagen creation. So, tell me what do you think? Go, no go? I loved to see how she rocked a monochrome outfit! More of these, please.

Junior golf in Asserbo

Tuesday, September 30th

Crown Princess Mary participated in the presentation of a prize given to Asserbo Golf Junior Club on occasion of the Children's Welfare Day

Asserbo Gold Junior Club had a special guest visiting them yesterday, because Crown Princess Mary showed up. She was there to hand over a prize which was given to the club because of their gathering to the Children's Welfare Day which the Crown Princess is patron for. She was met by over 20 energetic and happy children who was more than ready to play some gold with Mary, because of course there was time to play golf. It is not often you get to play golf with the future queen of Denmark. Mary also took time to met and talk to some of the attendance who had showed up to get a glimpse of her. It was all very relaxed and the usual bouquet of flowers was replaced with a few short roses.

Just like the atmosphere, Mary was very relaxed dressed in a pair of black trousers and light blue shirt. Think we have seen it before somewhere, but I can't really remember when or where. Nor do I know its identify. Do you know anything about it? She matched the button-down shirt with a lightweight down jacket. Would love to have one myself, but somehow it looks a bit... strange on me. Do you own a down jacket? -What do you do to make it look outstanding? Can't wait to hear from you. She had decided to wear  a pair of beige New Balance sneakers featuring golden details and then a snake printed scarf which I am pretty sure is from Stella McCartney. Nothing other than her engagement and weeding rings, she embraced the simple and casual style when playing golf in Asserbo.
