Magasin du Nord Fashion Prize 2017

Friday, October 27th

It has been some longs for the Crown Princess lately. On Friday she arrived to Art Gallery Charlottenborg in Copenhagen to attend the presentation of the Magasin du Nord Fashion Prize 2017, here. The Crown Princess was in a great spirit at the arrival and was warmly welcomed. She was about to hand over the Denmark's biggest design prize. The Magasin du Nord Fashion Prize  is given to a young design talents and goes with a scholarship on DKK 500,000 and his/her very own fashion show at Copenhagen Fashion Week. This year the young talent Lærke Andersen received the prestiges prize handed over by the Crown Princess herself. Lærke Andersen, who seemed overwhelmed and very happy at the presentation, gladly talked with the Crown Princess about her visions, ideas and goals in her carrier. The guest of honor also seemed to enjoy the company of her friend Nina Wedell-Wedellsborg, who attended the award show as board member.

A fashion award show takes a well-chosen outfit. Mary showed up in a brand new printed dress that really reminds me of a classy 70s dress. Both when it comes to the fabric, print, colours and silhouette. Even the collar call for a 70s dress. Not that the rest of her outfit reminds my anything of a vintage look -other than the dress. Do you like it? I'd really like to hear your opinion. Seems like Mary wasn't the only one falling in love with this Britt Sisseck dress. Also her attending friend Nina Wedell-Wedellsborg showed up in the exact same dress. Mary embraced the style by wearing a wide navy blue belt, which according to Jennifer is from Max Mara collection. Another blue accessory worn during the fashion event is her Quidam clutch. This means, three days with her beloved clutch, here & here. Great to see how to wear the exact same item in three different ways. It is also wonderful to see her wear the golden Orit Elhanati necklace and white people earrings from Dulong Fine Jewelry again. Can't get enough of these stylish accessories. Last piece I need to comment on are the pumps. She has worn them on several different occasions but never been identified. With this picture, here, I strongly believe Prada is the designer we are looking for. Let me know what you think and of course if you manage to find them.

FSR: Denmark's Best CSR Reporting 2017

Thursday, October 26th

The Crown Princess has for quite a few years attended the annual presentation of Denmark's best CSR reporting. She did the same on Thursday. The event took place at Børsen in Copenhagen in the afternoon with the Crown Princess as guest of honor. She arrived in a great mood with a wide smile on her face. It was about to become a better for several Danish companies. First a short but motivating speech from the guest of honor herself and then she handed over prizes to among others VandCenter Syd (water), Palsgaard (food) and five other companies. The big winner of this years best CSR reporting 2017 was Novo Nordisk (medicin). All winning companies were later photographed with the Crown Princess on stage. Over 300 attended the event and award ceremony.

For years I have hoped to see her wear this specific outfit again. Because we have actually seen in wear this outfit before. Do you recall then? I fell in love with it the first time and have hoped to see it again one day. That day is now. The outfit goes back to an interview in the newspaper Berlingske on occasion of her 40th birthday, here. Only little has changed since then. Same blouse. Same skirt. Different shoes. It took quite a while to get en ID on the silk blouse, but one day it was found at Prada. When it comes to the skirt, which by the way is dark blue, nothing has turned up yet. One thing is sure -blue and powder pink goes very well together. Matching the rest of the outfit, she had chosen to wear patent pink pointed pumps from Gianvito Rossi worn at several other occasions. When we saw the outfit a few years back, she wore nude pumps from Prada and they make a better look in my opinion. What do you think? -pink or nude for this outfit. She embrace the style by wearing jewellery from both Dulong Fine Jewelry and Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. Beautiful jewellery for the occasion. No one like Mary manage to match accessories with clothes with such perfection. Even the Quidam clutch matched in colour and style.

The international Children's Literature Festival

Thursday, October 26th

Surrounded by enthusiastic children in splendid mood, the Crown Princess arrived to the library DOKK1 in Aarhus where she was about to attend the official opening of the international children's literature festival called HAY Festival 2017, here. The festival takes place in Aarhus over four days on occasions of the announcement of the city as European Capital of Culture 2017. Each year since 1985, different cities around Europe have been given the prestiges title. All to bring the european people closer together.
The Crown Princess arrived in a wonderful mood and was welcomed as guest of honor. She officially opened the children's literature festival with a little ceremony including a golden scissors and orange ribbon. With a huge smile on her face she took plenty of time to the participating children, who had lot of fun in different workshops during the festival. There was also time for her to see what the kids had made in the workshops and she was clearly impressed by what she saw. I am sure all of them had a wonderful day in Aarhus.

At the opening of the HAY Festival 2017 in Aarhus on Thursday, Mary was beautifully dress in a reused tweed coat from Prada. I am not quite sure when we saw it for the first time, but it comes with a matching dress, which we have also seen worn a many different occasions. This time she wore the greenish tweed coat with black slim trousers. Just as in April 2016 when she attended of a new social- and health school in Copenhagen, here. I have always enjoyed the coat also along with the matching dress. Especially I have come to love with combo with trousers. Do you like it? As mentioned before it is not the first time Mary wear this coat. I have found at least four other occasions and I'm pretty there are more, herehereherehere. Looking for pictures I also found another great way to wear the coat. So, just a little inspiration for you, here. Nor is it the first time we see her wear the golden Orit Elhanati necklace, golden bracelets from Cartier and Dulong Fine Jewelry and diamonds rings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. Another great old reuse is the navy blue Quidam clutch and yellow Gianvito Rossi pumps. Somehow I'm going to get myself a pair of suede yellow pointed pumps. Mary's outfit is very much adored by me -and you?

25 years with Naval Team Denmark

Wednesday, October 25th

Lately the Crown Princess has been really busy, which gives we twice as much work. I try my best to keep up with everything that is going on, but a day only got 24 hours. Nevertheless, on Wednesday the Crown Princess attended an evening event. She attended a reception with Navel Team Denmark, here, on occasion of their 25th anniversary. Navel Team Denmark has, since 1995, worked in collaboration with the Royal Danish Navy and the Danish Defence. The reception took place at the Royal Danish Naval Academy in Copenhagen. The celebration had been taking place all day with a packed program and the Crown Princess attended as guest of honor. After the arrival she was welcomed by the board of Naval Team Denmark, whom she was also photographed with.

Mary showed up at the reception on Wednesday, wearing an good old Prada dress featuring a white top and black button. I believe this is the third time we see her in the dress. Mary is not the only royal woman who fell in love with this Prada-creation. Also Queen Maxima of the Netherlands has embraced the style at a few occasions, here. Nor is her white coat new, which by the way is also from Prada. She has a similar one in black as well. We have seen both the white and black several times at several different occasions. A classy and stylish coat for any occasions. As goes with her white pearl earrings and matching golden jewellery from Dulong Fine Jewelry and Orit Elhanati. My guess is that she could be wearing her black clutch from Carlend Copenhagen as well. I can't see it anywhere on the pictures but that's an accessory Mary would differently wear for an outfit like this. Another guess from my point of view, is about her shoes. I see a pair of patent leather pointed pumps in black, which automatically makes me think of Gianvito Rossi. I can't say for sure that's what she is wearing but I think it's the designer we are looking for.

Inauguration of 'Skærbækværket'

Wednesday, October 25th

In the first place Crown Prince Frederik was the one who was invited to attend the inauguration. He had to cancel the appointment to represent Denmark at the cremation ceremony of King Bhumibol of Thailand. Instead he sent his wife. And the Crown Princess was in a splendid mood when she arrived to Fredericia, around noon, attending the inauguration of Skærbækværket, here -a completely new power plant run by green energy. With a press on a huge red the Crown Princess officially inaugurated the new power plant in Frederica. After the ceremony she was given a guided tour around the new facilities wearing a safety- helmet and vest. It was with great interest she was told all about Skærbækværket.

On a cold and windy October day she visited Fredericia to attend the inauguration of a new power plant. For this event she was dressed in a warm and cosy outfit. Mary dazzled in a pair of black trousers, which I believe we have seen a least a couple of times before, a grey turtleneck and a brand new tweed jacket. It has been identified by Royals & Fashion as Erdem x H&M -it's from H&M's latest collaboration with Erdem in store from November 2nd. The jacket comes with a matching skirt as well. A great way to wear a tweed jacket. Actually it is not the first time we see her in these jackets. They seem to be a fall-favourite, especially worn with similar trousers as on Wednesday in Fredericia. I have found a few other outfits herehereherehere, here & here. How would you style a tweed jacket? I am very much a classy girl, so I think I would style it with matching tweed trousers or pencil skirt. For the perfect everyday look I would wear my black patent leather oxfords. Mary embraced the look by wearing her golden Cartier bracelet, diamond rings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen and reused Carlend Copenhagen clutch. A friend of mine suggested that she was wearing a pair of new suede ankle boots from Yvonne Knoé. Take a look and tell me what you think. I see great similarities with the ones she's wearing.

Visiting Mali

October 23-24th

The Crown Princess was suppose to visit Senegal along with Minister of Development Ulla Tørnæs during this week, but was canceled last week for security reasons -no one really knows the exact reason for the cancellation. The visit to Senegal had focus on child marriages. Because the visit had been canceled, I think many of you had wished to see the Crown Princess attend the concert held at Fredensborg Castle on Tuesday hosted by the Queen, here. Am I right? Well, that didn't happen because Crown Princess Mary attended a conference about reproductive health and child marriages in Mali from October 23-24th. Minister of Development Ulla Tørnæs accompanied the Crown Princess in Mali. The Crown Princess met with, among others, Mali's First Lady Keita Aminata Maiga who also attended the conference, which by the way, was organized by UNFPA -the United Nations Population Fund, here.

The visit also gave her a chance to pay a visit to Danish soldiers and several members of the Danish Home Guard under UN peacekeeping mission MINUSMA, here. During her visit at the camp she got a guided tour around 'Camp Bifrost', saw a C-130 Hercules transport aircraft from inside, here, and enjoyed a meal with the deployed soldiers. As last agenda the Crown Princess gave a speech, which I imagine was an honest and honoring speech right from her heart.

Let's not forget what all this was about: reproductive healthcare, the fight against child marriages as well as girls and women's rights. Nevertheless, Mary wore some pretty incredible outfit's during her stay in Mali. In total we got three very different outfits. I haven't been able to figure out exactly when she was attending what -you know if she visited the camp on October 23rd or 24th etc. Still, I would like to pay attention to her clothes for a short moment by mentioning what I have been able to identify so far. It is always a dilemma for me if I should even be mentioning anything about fashion when Mary is working with a committed heart to fight for girls and women's rights such as reproductive healthcare and combat child marriages. Which is why I keep it to a minimum. I hope you understand and respect my decision.

Day 5. Official state visit to Japan

    Thursday, October 12th

    -Tokyo-
For four day the Crown Prince couple has visited Japan and the celebrate the 150th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries, the Danish couple has been in front of a business promotion from October 8-12th. So, Thursday was the last day in Japan. They royal couple spend their last day attending a food- and lifestyle event taking place at the Danish embassy in Japan. The event focused on, among others Danish tradition about furniture and table setting -though I had no idea Danes had traditions about table setting.. at least not very different from any other Scandinavian countries. Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary also payed a visit to a school in Funabashi to see for themselves how the school use LEGO as a learning tool. The use of LEGO during teaching is part of the program We Do. Later, the Crown Princess attended Design Walk where she also met several Danish companies working in Tokyo. A rather extraordinary day I you ask me. We got lots of smiles and happy memories to remember.

Though Mary showed up in a very plain coloured suit during their last days activities in Japan, I have to say I kinda like it. Massimo Dutti came to me right away and with a little help from Heaven, my suspicion became the truth. Mary's new beige linen suit is indeed from Massimo Dutti. Other than the suit she wore a white v-neck blouse, which could be new but I think it's an old one. I think of a blouse from Hugo Boss when I see this. As jewellery she embraced a chic look by wearing two golden necklaces from Orit Elhanati and Georg Jensen, such as Dulong Fine Jewelry earrings and a couple of diamond rings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. A favourite combination of hers. Love how she managed to bring a plain suit to live with a few sparkly jewellery and her snake skin pumps from Gianvito Rossi. What a combo!

    -Dinner-
In the evening the Crown Prince couple had two last events to attend before the official state visit in Japan was coming to an end. First the couple arrived to Hotel Gajoen in Tokyo to attend the official celebration of the 150th anniversary I have mentioned quite a few times the last few days. So, is it really necessary mentioning it again? The royal couple met with the Japanese Crown Prince couple who seemed happy to see the Danish Crown Prince and Crown Princess one last time. Also representatives from the Japanese Parliament and Danish companies in Japan participated the reception along with the two Crown Prince couple's. With a few sips of champagne and a speech given by Crown Prince Frederik -Japan and Denmark are ready for another 150 years of good relations.
As a final event the Danish royal couple attended an official dinner to celebrate the yearlong connection between Japan and Denmark. Members of the Danish business delegation traveling along with the Crown Prince couple were also invited to the dinner where they had a once in a lifetime chance of making new working relations with potential new collaborators.

Update: On Tuesday DR broadcasted a documentary from the Crown Prince couple's visit in Japan, here. It is in Danish so if you are troubled with the language then enjoy all the lovely footage.

One last outfit left from a wonderful visit in Japan. She impressed wearing a brand new black floral printed suit from Etro. Heaven is the one who shared this identification with me. I have to say, I have a hard time trying to decide wether or not I like Mary's outfit from the evening event. Got the feeling that it makes her look at bit old, especially because of hairstyle. Don't misunderstand me because I absolutely love the french twist. It is a personal favourite of mine. This time I would really like to hear what you have to say. Go or no go? Still, I like how she embraced that "pyjamas-suit" trend everyone is loving so much. Wether we like the complete outfit or not, Mary had chosen some incredible accessories. Her satin blue Prada clutch and what I strongly believe is pointed Gianvito Rossi pumps. She also dazzled by wearing both earrings and a necklace from Georg Jensen, last seen when the Mary Foundation celebrated its 10th anniversary in September, here. Do you remember her in that new Lasse Spangenberg Copenhagen gown with the drop jewellery?

Day 4. Official state visit to Japan

    Wednesday, October 11th

    -Tokyo-
The Danish Crown Prince couple has been visiting Japan for three days so far and on Wednesday the couple attended the official opening of the business promotion taking place at Hotel Gajoen in Tokyo. 55 Danish companies are participating in the event, who also got a change to meet the royal couple. Crown Prince Frederik was the one who officially opened the business promotion with his speech. I haven't read the speech but I am sure he mentioned the close bond between Japan and Denmark, which is also one of the thing celebrated with this state visit -the 150th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries. Before the Crown Prince attended the presentation of Prince Henrik's Medal of Honor and the Export Association Diploma, the royal couple attended lunch at the Imperial Palace with the Japanese Emperor and Empress as hosts. Meanwhile her husband presented Prince Henrik's Medal of Honor, the Crown Princess met with the participating Danish companies of the business promotion in the meeting area at Hotel Gajoe.

It is every day you are going to have lunch with the Emperor and Empress of Japan. I would say it takes an outfit just like the one Mary was wearing -a classy white floral printed dress from Vilskenko and matching suede pumps from Gianvito Rossi. I still haven't been able to find the same model but I am in no doubt they are from Gianvito Rossi. The dress was first worn during a visit in USA back in 2016, here. As other accessories she had chosen to wear a lovely blue Quidam clutch seen several times before on many different occasions. Shortly, we also got at glimpse of her Prada handbag as seen two day before, here. Other than the dress, I really enjoy how she mixed and matched previously worn jewellery all over again. Both drop earrings and a few of her bracelets are from Dulong Fine Jewelry, such as a couple of diamond rings are from a Danish company -Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. Quite some time ago I mentioned that the golden diamond bracelet (lately worn along with her Cartier bracelet, as she did during day 4) could be from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. I still got that bracelet on my mind but I haven't been able to ID who actually designed it. Have you noticed it? Nevertheless, I love how perfectly the two golden bracelets look together.

    -Dinner-
After another long day in Japan, the Danish Crown Prince couple ended a wonderful day a the Togu Palace with the Japanese Crown Prince as host. It is not the first time the couple spend time with the Crown Prince of Japan. Also the day before they met when attending an event in the Japanese National Archive, here. All three of them seemed to be enjoying each others company when they met shortly before the dinner was about to take place.

Honestly, I think we have seen so many incredibly outfit already and we still have one day left to look forward to. When attending dinner in the evening with her husband and the Crown Prince of Japan acted as host, Mary was beautifully dressed in a reused outfit from Jesper Hørving (blouse) and golden embroidered skirt from Prada. I would really like to see skirt matched with another blouse, but these two pieces makes such a great outfit. Which is probably why she has chosen to wear it again. We saw the same combo of clothes when she attended the OECD Forum in Paris, here. Do you remember her outfit from back then? When do you think she wore it better? I go with this one from Japan. Mary embrace the perfect evening outfit by wearing jewellery from both Dulong Fine JewelryCartier and maybe also Orit Elhanati. I will only make a short comment on her jewellery, but I want you to take a look at the fact that I am sure she's wearing silver earrings and the rest of her jewellery is gold. Do you see the same as me? Never really been good a silver and gold jewellery at the same time, but a few years ago I discover how beautifully it looks when matching it all up. She matched the outfit with a pair of burgundy suede pumps from Gianvito Rossi and a brand new clutch, which I haven't been able to identify yet. I got my mind set on J. Furmani, but... I also have a hard time identifying the colour.

Day 3. Official state visit to Japan

    Tuesday, October 10th

    -Funabashi-
The Danish Crown Prince couple are still on the official state visit to Japan on occasion the 150th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and Denmark. Yesterday the Crown Prince couple visited Kanazawa, here. On the third day, the Crown Princess visited Funabashi while her husband payed a visit to Higashi-Matsushima, which was hit by a tsunami back in 2011 where the Crown Prince visited the city for the first time. Later during the day, Crown Prince Frederik visited the Earthquake Memorial Park in memory of the victims of the earthquake six years ago. Meanwhile the Crown Princess visited Funabashi Andersen Park, followed by a visit to the Nordic Fair in H.C. Andersen Park. The fair is inspired by the traditional christmas fair in Denmark. She also got the chance to inaugurate a new playground along with the Danish Minister of Culture Mette Bock, such as visiting the Children's Museum where she also attended lunch with mayor Tory Matsudo as host.

Here we go again. Mary in her stunning reused midi shirt dress featuring white stripes and the most amazing blue colour. She first wore this wonder months back on occasion of Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik's golden wedding anniversary, here. Kate once identified the dress as Stella Jean. A lovely find.

Her oxford pumps have been found at Ralph Lauren (collection Purple Label). Heaven is the one who told be about the shoes, which is the same she wore the first time we saw her in the dress. Never thought we would see her in heels like these but they make a great match to the dress and brown leather belt. She embrace a summer chic style by wearing golden jewellery from both Orit Elhanati, Dulong Fine Jewelry and Cartier. Love how she's looking all casual, yet polished. Remember how I mentioned Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden in my previous post? How do I compared her with Mary in the new white Temperley London dress? The same goes with this dress I think. On occasion of her 40th birthday, Crown Princess Victoria wore an outfit very much like Mary's, here. Do you see the resemblance?

    -Tokyo-
In the evening, the Danish Crown Prince couple was back in Tokyo again where they visited the Japanese National Archive. Here they got the chance to see the exhibition Japan and Denmark: Valuable Records of the Historical Relation. The exhibition is created in collaboration with Danmarks Rigsarkiv and consists more than 80 valuable documents and historically preserved materials. All of these 80 pieces are documenting the 150th anniversary of Japan and Denmark's diplomatic relations. When the couple arrived, they were warmly welcomed by the Crown Prince of Japan and Ministers of Foreign Affairs from both countries. All of them were in a great spirit.

Mary was looking absolutely gorgeous in her brand new floral printed kimono-dress. Am I right? I am stunned about her new dress, which has been identified by Heaven as Stine Goya (SS2017). Think it is the second or third time we see her in Goya's design and she look's smashing. Don't think I have heard any negative comments about Mary's stunning look from the evening on their third day in Japan. And I understand why you love it so much. So, do I. She had accessorized it with simple earrings from Dulong Fine Jewelry and suede pumps from Gianvito Rossi. Still, I am in no doubt that her shoes are from Rossi and that they are new. But what about the colour? To be they look white in most pictures, which I why I assumed that her pumps are white. Though. In some pictures they look a bit more pink (dusty pink). Some of you think her new pumps are more pink than white. This makes it much easier to correctly identify them. Let me know what you think. I would still very much like to hear more opinions about this mystery. I really love the simplicity of her evening outfit with all focus on the dress. Mary's feminine hairstyle and makeup beautifully completed her look.

Day 2. Official state visit to Japan

    Monday, October 9th

    -Kanazawa-
As part of a five days official state visit to Japan the Danish Crown Prince couple visited Kanazawa. They drove the 500 km from Tokyo to Kanazawa in the Japanese high speed train 'Shinkansen'. So, it all started with a train ride around noon. The first event on a rather long list, was a lunch at the restaurant 'Tsubajin' hosted by the Deputy Mayor Dazio Hosada and Kanazawa City; all to welcome the Crown Prince couple to Japan. After a nice lunch, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary were given a guided tour in the Kenrokuen -one of three Japanese plant gardens, here. So, if you are every going to visit Kanazawa in Japan, I think this is the place to go. Since we got the first glimpse of the couple during their second day in Japan, I think we have seen two very committed and smily Crown Prince and Crown Princess. I can't get enough of these official visits. Well, enough about sentimental me because I also need to tell that the Danish couple visited the exhibition Everyday Life -Signs of Awareness at 21st Century Museum for Contemporary Art. Over 130 pieces of Danish designs are exhibited. Here they were given another guided tour -two in one day, were they also got the chance to speak with several Japanese and Danish designers. The Crown Prince also gave a speech followed by the presentation of five scholarships given to Japanese artists who are about to study in Denmark.

Looking absolutely stunning in a brand new white dress, I believe Mary amazed all of us. Am I right? Everywhere I have been able to get a glimpse of a comment I have only seen positive ones. Everyone seems to adore Mary in this new Temperley London dress. And it got some brilliant details that makes one look twice and discover new details all the time. You are no the only one loving this dress. So do I. It was identified by one of the girls at UFO No More, here. She styled it beautifully by wearing new baby blue pumps from Gianvito Rossi and a pair of aquamarine blue earrings designed by Diane von Furstenberg for H. Stern. These are not new but worn at several other occasions. She had chosen jewellery from Orit Elhanati, Dulong Fine Jewelry, Cartier and Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. We also got to see her new sunglasses, which I strongly believe is from Dolce & Gabbana. A very classy 50s inspired look with the full-skirt dress, feminine hairstyle and leopard shades. Love how they both matched each other in a 50s vibe. Another resemblance that comes to my mind, is Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden. She could differently wear something similar to what Mary was wearing during the day in Kanazawa, here, here, here. Did you notice she's wearing a white orchid in her hair? What an incredible detail. White orchids are told to be symbol of humility, luxury and purity.

    -Arrival-
Time is up. We do not have to wait any longer for the Crown Prince couple to go to Japan on their official state visit. Don't know about you, but this is something I have been looking forward to in a very long time. It is not the first time the Danish couple visits Japan. Back in 2015 the couple had their first official visit in Japan, here. This year the Japanese Crown Prince couple visit Denmark -a memorable visit, here. This time the Crown Prince couple will stay in Japan from October 8-12th where they are at the forefront of a business- and cultural promotion. It is also a part of a celebration of diplomatic relations between Japan and Denmark throughout 150 years. At the arrival Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary were warmly welcomed by the Japanese Crown Prince and Crown Princess. To me it looks like it was a happy reunion for the two couple's to meet again.

Already at the arrival Mary showed us a high standard for what to expect in the next couple of days during the visit. She stepped out of the car wearing a brand new multi colour coat, which appears to be from YDE Copenhagen (SS16). It was identified by Heaven. She embrace a chic outfit by wearing a white silk blouse found at Britt Sisseck (AW15), here, and slim black trousers, a combination I am pretty sure we have seen on one occasion before this. Actually with a similar coat, from the same designer as at the arrival. Do you recall the event I am talking about? Earlier this year she attended Copenhagen Fashion Week 2017 where was dressed in a white blouse and black trousers, here. To me it looks like the exact same outfit. This time, in Japan, looks just as great as the first time. Don't you think? Any of them you like better? She accessorized her chic and very modern-looking outfit with mesh-paneled suede pumps from Gianvito Rossi. Wonder if she was also wearing earrings and a couple of bracelets as well? -a combo we have seen a lot lately. No doubt that I am going to wear something similar to this outfit tomorrow.

    -Denmark Festival & Walkathon-
The Crown Princess couple attended their second, out of three, events around noon in Toyosu Park, Tokyo. The event the Danish royal couple attended is Denmark Festival & Walkathon made in collaboration of ECCO Japan (shoes) and Novo Nordisk (medicine). Simply wonderful to see the couple together for this event in Tokyo. They make a great working team and both of them really seemed to enjoy every single moment of the festival and the following Walkathon -a 5.7 km. walk, which they participated. Walkathon is a walk held by ECCO each year to collect money for the Heart Association and SOS Børnebyerne. As part of the Walkathon, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary handed over charity donations to two NGO winners. Several Danish companies participated the festival such as the royal couple did, who got a change to meet each during the first day of this official state visit. Overall, the festival focuses on Denmark and Danish lifestyle. Also with with focus on the diplomatic relations between Denmark and Japan, which celebrate 150th anniversary this year.

Attending the event in Toyosu Park made Mary change clothes twice, which is rather unusual. I see why she did but it is just not something we see very often. Usually she makes one clothes-changing during a day o an official visit. So far, she had already change twice and there is a dinner as well in the evening. When the couple first arrived to the Denmark Festival she was dressed in one of her reused white blouses from Isabel Marant and what I believe is a pair of new blue trousers. Actually, I think it makes a great look. The brown Chloé cross-body bag she has worn a several other occasions. As with the bag, her new nude ballet flats has been found, by Kate, at Chloé. She managed to find that close-up I didn't find. Mary had accessorized her relaxed outfit with jewellery from both Dulong Fine Jewelry and, what I believe, is an Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen ring. I also got a glimpse of a pair of sunglasses. At first I thought it was her old leopard sunglasses from Dolce & Gabbana, but the most I look at them I think these are new, here. A lovely outfit with great potential.

The third outfit she showed of was also at the festival. She changed from ballet flats to new ECCO sneakers. From one white blouse to another. Mary matched a white t-shirt with her beige Ralph Lauren trousers worn the first time earlier this year at an Free of Bullying event. So them Mary and her husband participated the 5.7 km. Walkathon she was perfectly dressed in a practical outfit. But no complete outfit without a few accessories, which is probably why Mary had chosen to wear a cap from Cavalleris Toscana, her brown cross-body bag from Chloé, sunglasses  and jewellery from Cartier and Dulong Fine Jewelry. Do you have any favourite outfits so far? Personally, I think I will go with her second look -the white Isabel Marant blouse and new Chloé ballet flats.

    -Dinner-
In the evening Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary were invited to a dinner at the Danish Embassy in Tokyo. The dinner was hosted by Ambassador Freddy Savne and his wife Lise Frederiksen. According to the official program the Crown Prince couple got the chance to enjoy some art at the Embassy lent from State Art Foundation. Unfortunately, no picture have been published nor have I been able to find any reference mentioning the dinner. So, I assume it was a more private event.
