Celebrating Danneborg's 90th anniversary

25 May

Speaking about the Danish royal family, you have to speak about legacy, castles and (of course) the royal yacht Dannebrog. This year, Dannebrog celebrate its 90th anniversary. The celebration took place on board the yacht with a few royal attendances: Queen Margrethe, the Crown Prince Couple and Princess Benedikte. The current and former captains and representatives of the Court also attended the celebration, which was a little trip around Øresund with a following lunch.

Dannebrog was build in 1931 to 1932 in Copenhagen. Queen Alexandrine has the honor of naming the royal yacht. Since then, Dannebrog has acted a room for both official and private dinners, trips, receptions and birthdays.

For this event, Mary had chosen a stunning blue and white custom-made dress. It was designed by Danish designer Ole Yde from YDE Copenhagen and later tailored by Birgit Hallstein. Mary first wore the dress at a business visit in Prada in 2019 (here). She impressed the world then. She did, once again, wearing this lovely dress at Danneborg's 90th anniversary.

Mary embraced the style by wearing a couple od beautiful bracelets from Dulong Fine Jewelry. They are also the talented creator of her huge white pearl ring. Looks great with those white pearl and diamond earrings. She also wore her stunning golden Cartier bangle. It must mean much to her, because she has been wearing it a million time over the last years. She matched the outfit with navy blue leather pumps from Gianvito Rossi.

The opening of "H.R.H. Crown Princess Mary 1972 – 2022"

03 February

On January 31st, Crown Princess Mary opened her first birthday-exhibition celebrating her 50th birthday at Koldinghus in Kolding (here). I was there when the royal couple arrived. It was such a pleasure. A couple of days later, she was accompanied by her family, when she was about to open "H.R.H. Crown Princess Mary 1972 - 2022" at the The National History Museum at Frederiksborg Castle.

The exhibition tells the story about her life. Portraits, galla dresses, her wedding gown and personal objects are on exhibition. Everything that makes Mary to the Crown Princess we know are exhibited at Frederikborg.

A new portrait of the Crown Princess was also revealed by the crown Princess herself. The portrait is absolutely stunning. The man behind the portrait is the spanishborn artist Jesús Herrera Martínez. It was staged in her private workspace at Frederik VIII's Palace at Amalienborg. Princess Josephines helped her mother, when revealing the beautiful painting.

The family were also given a tours around the exhibition. I guess it was a great pleasure for all of them. Some of her most "iconic" outfits were on display. Some of them are: hereherehereherehereherehereherehere.

I am stunned like never before. What a look. Look at those details! Impressive work. The curved edges, the full skirt and long sleeves. I cannot wait to see her wear this in the future. She wears the colour with such pride and elegance. It looks great on her, don't you think? It was designed by YDE Copenhagen and tailored by Birgit Hallstein.

The magnificent earrings and outstanding golden leaf brooch are created by talented Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. The pieces are from my favourite collections of theirs. They are truly masters of this craftsmanship - working with metals and stones. She has worn both earrings and brooch before. I must say that the brooch looks perfect with her new dress. We get a glimpse of her Cartier bracelets as well.

She also embraced the style by wearing a navy blue leather clutch from Quidam and the exclusive python pumps are by Prada. I have never been able to find the same model, but a golden Prada logo proves that they are in fact the designer.

Opening of Human Rights Forum 2021

16th August

After a long holiday with the rest of her family, Crown Princess Mary was back at work again. She started an exciting week by attending the opening of Human Rights Forum. The forum is a part of WorldPride and EuroGames. All three LGBTI+ events goes by the name Copenhagen 2021. Human Rights Forum is hosted by both Copenhagen 2021 and UNFPA.

Crown Princess Mary attended as patron of the United Nations Population Fund - also known as UNFPA and Copenhagen 2021. She arrived to the UN City in Copenhagen around 3pm local time. She was warmly welcomed by, among others, UN Under-Secretary-General and Executive Director of UNFPA Dr. Natalia Kanem and Minister for Development Cooperation and Minister for Nordic Cooperation Flemming Møller Mortensen.

Human Rights Forum was all about human rights and the inclusion of LGBTI+ people. The Crown Princess beautifully made that part of her speech. She had the honor of giving the opening speech. A speech full of love, commitment and hope. Especially, love gives life fully meaning according to the Crown Princess. We should all have the right to find love and be loved. You find her speech here.

After her own speech, Crown Princess Mary closed followed a few panel debates from front raw. I guess, it was with open ears and eyes that she attended the debates. This is truly a topic close to her heart: we all have the right to belong. We all have the right to be heard.

Crown Princess Mary also had a more personal meeting with Executive Director for UNFPA Natalia Kanem and her team. They met at Amalienborg to discuss UNFPA's work on, among other things, COVID-19 and its impact on the organizations work locally and globally. Human rights were also on the agenda. Crown Princess Mary was accompanied by Christine Pii Hansen, her private secretary.

According to the royal court, Deputy Executive Director Ib Petersen, Chief, UNFPA Resource Mobilization Branch Klaus Simoni-Pedersen, Chief, Nordic Office, UNFPA Pernille Fenger and Senior Adviser in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Jane Werngreen Rosales also participated the meeting with the Crown Princess.

Many of us loves jumpsuits, but somehow we do not like to admit it. Well, at least we 'forget' to wear them. Jumpsuits are so lovely! They can be comfortable. Easy to style. Perfect for almost every occasion possible. We differently need to embrace jumpsuits and Mary gives us a clue on how.

She looked smashing wearing that bright blue YDE Copenhagen suit. She has worn it a few times before. Twice, actually. First, when she attended a reception in addition to Women Deliver in 2016 (here). Later that same year, Mary showed us how to wear it another way. It was when visiting the United States in September 2016 (here). Finally, she wear it again!

This time, she embraced the style with a simple blue belt. A perfect colormatch. The colorpalet was all blue and gold. A match made in heaven. I love this colorcombo. I read that her pointed suede Gianvito Rossi pumps are a reuse, but somehow I cannot manage to recall when she has ever worn these before. I know she has quite a few pairs of blue pointed shoes made of suede, but these still look new to me. Can you enlighten me? Her leather handbag, on the other hand, is indeed a reuse. A lovely reuse. This Prada tote is truly one of Mary's favorite handbags.

As jewellery, she wore golden earrings from Dulong Fine Jewelry featuring small diamonds. Looks really great with the rest of her look and others jewellery. Especially, the golden Cartier bangle and that little golden ring of hers. I see that I do not quite agree on one of her others bracelets. To me, it looks like Mary was wearing two diamond bangles from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. One in white gold and one in yellow gold.

Meeting with Executive Director for UNFPA Natalia Kanem, Mary embraced the same lovely outfit expect one little detail: she was wearing other shoes. At the opening of Human Rights Forum she wore navy blue suede pumps and at the Amalienborg-meeting, Mary wore nude Prada pumps. Amazing how much one single detail can change everything. Do you prefer the blue or nude ones?

Opening of Fair Festival 2021

19th March

Fair Festival 2021 is Denmark's biggest digital festival for sustainable products and Crown Princess Mary attended the grand opening at the city hall in Aarhus.

The association Fair Festival and Globe Go Green collaborated to arrange Fair Festival back in 2019 to spread the knowledge about sustainable consumption, sustainability in general and the climate changes we face today. They repeated the success this year with this digital gathering. The festival was organized around two of UN's world goals - number 12 and 17. World goal 12 is all about responsible consumption and production and the 17th goal is partnership for action.

Crown Princess Mary seemed excited at the arrival. All smiles and warm eyes. She was about to give a speech at the opening of the Fair Festival 2021. In her speech, she made it clear that need to become more innovative and visionary in our way of thinking, our approach, collaborations and our solutions. Fair Festival is exactly that - a way for us to see the future and what we are already good at. Read her entire speech here.

The festival had others keynote speakers too. Among others, Kristine Overgaard Nielsen - the CEO of Globe Go Green and founder of the Association Fair Festival.

Mary is truly committed to sustainability and what comes with it. We have already achieved so much, but we are not there yet. Speaking at the opening of a festival dedicated to sustainability and sustainable solutions, Mary wisely chose a reused outfit. Old goodies from head to toe.

The lovely black coat with the outstanding beadings, is a creation made by YDE Copenhagen. A really beautiful coat. Don't you think? Once again, she matched it with her crispy white blouse from Britt Sisseck. She matched this combo with simple fitted black trousers. The same as when she attending Copenhagen Fashion Week in 2017 (here) and when she presented the Magasin du Nord Fashion Prize in 2019 (here). How would you style such a coat?

Mary embraced her outfit with magnificent diamond earrings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. They are from their Winter Frost collection. Her stunning green emerald ring is from Annikat. The black croco clutch is one of her favorites from Carlend Copenhagen. I have one myself in pink snakeskin and it is a lovely clutch to carry your most important belongings. To me it looks like her shoes are from Valentino. Studded leather pumps - in green.

Magasin du Nord Fashion Prize 2020

5th November

Crown Princess Mary was suppose to participate a roundtable debate about ICDP+26 at Christiansborg this afternoon, but due to the current situation, a new date has been chosen for the event. So far, a new date has not been announced. Something that did not change is the fact that she was guest of honor at the presentation of the Magasin du Nord Fashion Prize 2020. We like that, right?

For many years, the Crown Princess has been committed to make the world a better place. Also when it comes to fashion. The fashion industry is one the largest and much can (and need) to change to improve both working-conditions, the environment, the use of raw materials, etc. Not long ago, she was interviewed by CEO of Global Fashion Agenda, Eva Kruse on occasion of CFS+, here. Her commitment has led her to become, among other things, patron for the Global Fashion Agenda.

This time, she represented a belief in a better fashion industry, when she attended the presentation of the Magasin du Nord Fashion Prize. The prize has more than one purpose: to find and promote future Danish designers, who value and incorporate sustainability and ethical responsibility as well as business ideas, innovation and originality in design.

It is not the first time Crown Princess Mary attend the presentation of this prestigious prize. Magasin du Nord Fashion Prize was first handed over eight years ago, in 2012. Once again, Crown Princess Mary was in a magnificent mood. She was warmly welcomed by an old friend, Baroness Nina Wedell-Wedellsborg. She is board member of the Magasin du Nord Foundation and a jury member.

Many Danish designers have been nominated to win the prize, but previous winner Cecilie Bahnsen took the prize and the 200,000 Danish Kroner. This is the second time. She also won Magasin du Nord Fashion Prize in 2016. Congratulations to Cecile and her team.

Even though we have not seen that many pictures from the event, I already love every single part of it. Because she has worn so so much black lately, I had my doubts that she would wear colors. But I was wrong. Her outfit is far from black. She embraced the style of a true fashion queen by wearing clean white trousers and a brand new creamy white turtleneck blouse. Heaven managed to identify this new pieces as ZARA. It is from 2019 and still available - also in other lovely colors. Maybe a gift to treat yourself? Her amazing colorful coat is an old one from YDE Copenhagen. She first wore it at an official state visit in Japan in 2017, here. I love it even more now.

I am sure you noticed her new golden earrings as well. Huge earrings. Not something she wears often. Actually, I do not remember her ever wearing something like this. A bit 80s because of the size. They are nothing but 80s. These stunning new golden earrings are created by Rebekka Notkin. A design from her latest collection called "Carved". I am almost mesmerized by them. What do you think? She matched the earrings with her golden Cartier bangle.

I do not see a clutch or a bag, but I see some incredible nude patent pumps from Prada. I never thought about wearing pointed pumps myself. Not until Mary started wearing them. Especially these are great. With a pair of nude pointed pumps in your wardrobe, you are able to copy many of Mary's outfits. This look has differently just become one of my favorites!

Presentation of the Magasin du Nord Fashion Prize 2019

05 November

The Crown Princess had already visited Høng Boarding School, here, but in the evening she was on the road again. For at least five years Crown Princess has attended the presentation of the Magasin du Nord Fashion Prize. This year the award show took place at Charlottenborg in Copenhagen.

The Honorary Award was first handed over in 2012 by the Magasin du Nord Fondation and has become one of the most important in fashion awards given in Denmark. With the award the foundations aim to find and promote future Danish fashion designers especially with focus on how sustainable each nominee are in their production.

Before handing over the prize all nominees posed for a picture along with the Crown Princess. But the overall winner of the Magasin du Nord Fashion Prize 2019 was Carcel, here. A brand that hires imprisoned women in both Thailand and Peru. These women are employed to produce the Carcel clothing. Carcel's mentality is that this initiative will secure fair wages and help the women to learn new skills and by that break with poverty.

Veronica D'Souza received the prize as one of the founders of Carcel. With the prize also follows a mentor program where members of the jury are there to help strengthen the brand. This is a new initiative that follows the winners. All the best wishes and congratulations to Carcel with the prestiges prize.

Usually Mary is a bit more dramatic dressed when attending presentation of the Magasin du Nord Fashion Prize. But this year she had chosen to keep ti simple. She was dressed in her reused white Britt Sisseck blouse matched with black fitted trousers and an old embroidered YDE Copenhagen coat. Though it is not the most overwhelming and surprising outfits, it works just great. Especially I like the shortened sleeves on the coat that makes the sleeves from the blouse visible. Love how the two materials are a contrast.

Once before we have seen this combo. It was when Mary attended the opening of the Cultural Year 2019 between South Korea and Denmark in January, here. She first wore  the blouse with the beautiful coat in 2017 at Copenhagen Fashion Week, here.

She accessorized the look by wearing incredible green leather Valentino Pumps studded with rivets. Classy Valentino pumps in a vivid color. That is what makes Mary one of the most stylish women in the world in my opinion - she wears everything classy with a twist. The earrings are the same a worn earlier that day. Winter frost earrings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. Her fine green emerald ring is from Annikat.

Day 1. Business promotion visit in Paris

07 October

During the day

Quite a while ago it was announced that Crown Prince Frederik and his wife, Crown Princess Mary were going on a business promotion visit to Paris on October 7-9th.

The couple arrived in the morning along with a Danish business delegation. The 50 Danish businesses and organisations that are part of the delegation is in Paris to participate the business promotion visit. This year the visit is entitled 'Denmark and France - together for a better life and a sustainable future' and focuses on energy, sustainable cities and health. The Danish court announced  that especially elderly care, “smart hospitals” and “life science” as well as wind energy, district heating and urban development are the main focus.

First the Crown Prince Couple attended the official opening of the visit at La Grande Arche - a new Triumphal Arch designed by the Danish architect, Johan Otto von Spereckelsen. The Crown Prince held the opening speech wearing chic new glasses. They then attended at meet and greet with the participating Danish delegation.

In the afternoon did Crown Prince Frederik visited the French company, EDF Group which is the largest producer of electricity in France. He then visited the district heating manufacturer Dalkia's showroom and he attended the 30th anniversary celebration of La Grande Arch. Meanwhile did Crown Princess Mary visit the Georges-Pompidou hospital. One of the biggest public hospitals in Paris.

What and incredible outfit. I am so much in love with Mary in that brand new bright blue dress. Look at those magnificent details. The covered buttons, short sleeves, neckline. I am stunned by this new dress. The wonder is a custom-made designed by Ole Yde, here, and according to Billed-Bladet, created by Birgit Hallstein. Can't hide my enthusiasm. Mary's dress (and outfit) is simply beautiful.

She embraced the style with a white pearl bracelet from Dulong Fine Jewelry. It comes with matching earrings, but Mary had chosen to wear another pair of diamond earrings featuring a pearl pendant. Both earrings and pearl bracelet, such as all the other jewellery, are reused pieces. Mary matched her white pearls with a golden Cartier bangle and another golden bangle from Dulong Fine Jewelry. Also the two stunning diamond rings are worn on numerous occasions.

As other accessories Mary wore her quality leather clutch from Quidam. A beautiful match because of the lovely navy blue colors. The same goes with the Gianvito Rossi pumps. I get it if you adore her outfit as much as I do.

Reception

Around dinner time the Crown Prince Couple arrived to La Grande Arche (for the second and third time that day) to attend a reception on occasion of the 30th anniversary of the very same monument. Crown Prince Frederik had already earlier that day attended another event on occasion of the anniversary.

Both Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary were in a splendid mood. They really seemed comfortable in each others company. To the press Crown Prince Frederik expressed what a wonderful day it had already been. Of course the Crown Princess was asked about her new title as regent, here. She is one hundred procent proud and honored.

I was clearly impressed by her first outfit earlier that day. In the evening she rocked another stunning outfit. Mary had chosen to wear a brand new black dotted dress from Black Halo. The dress was identified by Heaven. A very flattering creation. It gives her a long and tall silhouette. She accessorized her outfit with an old black lace scarf. I have never been able to confirm it, but on several occasions I heard that the lace scarf was once made by Heartmade Julie Fagerholt.

Despite she wore quite a lot of jewellery at the evening reception, you hardly notice all of them. The splendid golden earrings covered in shiny diamonds are designed by Dulong Fine Jewelry. Expensive earrings that someone like me can only dream about.

From the same designer, Mary embraced the style with two different models of golden bracelets and four rings from Dulong Fine Jewelry. One of the rings are brand new ring. Really beautiful pieces. The diamond bracelet is a mystery to me. It looks a lot like this one from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen, here.

As other accessories Mary was wearing a reused black patent leather from Prada, an unidentified black glitter clutch and dazzling pointed pumps from Gianvito Rossi. Hair and makeup are what completed her outfit with great perfection.

RC69: WHO Regional Committee for Europe

16 September

Today is the day, where Crown Prince Victoria and her husband, Prince Daniel are coming to Denmark on official business promotion visit with the Danish Crown Prince Couple as hostes. The program tells us that the Swedish Crown Prince Couple arrives this evening and are welcomed by the Swedish ambassador, Fredrik Jörgensen. According to local time, that is within about an hour or so.

Today is also the day where Crown Princess Mary participated the important WHO Regional Committee For Europe (also known as RC69) summit. The summit gathered representatives from all over Europe within the healthcare sector in the UN City in Copenhagen. The Crown Princess  participated the summit as patron for the World Health Organization, Regional Office for Europe and as guest of honor.

She was in a really splendid mood at arrival with a wide smile on her lips and a glimpse in her eyes. The sweetest little boy handed over to her a bouquet of beautiful flower as part of the tradition when being welcomed as part of the royal family. From the rostrum she gave a one of her remarkable speeches focusing on the important work of the worldwide healthcare sector.

In the evening Crown Princess Mary also attended a reception with the Danish Ministry of Health and Elderly on occasion of The WHO Regional Committee for Europe. The reception took place at Skuespilhuset in Copenhagen. When arriving to Skuespilhuset the Crown Princess was warmly welcomed by Minister of Health and Elderly, Magnus Heunicke. Seems like she were having a good time right from when she arrived. Unfortunately not much has been published from the reception, but I mam sure you figure out the difference between the two events.

Red is a strong and powerful color to wear on a day like this. A symbolic color that catch eyes every time she wears something red. I was sure she was wearing her red Dolce & Gabbana dress, here, but it turns out that the neckline is different. This makes Mary's dress unidentified. Kate made me aware of the difference. So for now I do not know where her wonderful red dress is from. But she matched is perfectly with a tweed jacket from YDE Copenhagen. Hope to see this piece with something else than this dress. How would you style it? I'd wear it with a pair of black jeans and a white button-down shirt.

Mary accessorized her chic outfit with diamond earrings from Sophie Bille Brahe, golden bracelets from Dulong Fine Jewelry and of course her love bracelet from Cartier. Expensive, but stylish pieces of jewellery that goes trendy every year. I also see an Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen diamond band.

Somehow I can not keep my eyes off those beige python pumps. It was love at first sight. In a way I think they even look comfortable. I have never worn a pair of Gianvito Rossi pumps, but they look more comfortable than most other pumps does. Her Rossi python pumps and that incredible leather bag from Prada are perfect combined with the red belted dress and tweed jacket. When would you wear an outfit like this?

Everything she wore at the reception in Skuespilhuset is everything I have hoped for. I am astonished by the combination black, a little flowers and those bright orange pumps. Do you remember the floral printed Heartmade / Julie Fagerholt dress from when we first saw it last year, here? A beautiful dress a year ago and it still is. I am crazy in love with when she wore it at the reception. Mary looks comfortable and relaxed.

I already mentioned her shoes. Bright oranges wonders from Prada. A visible golden Prada logo reveals where they are to be found. So far I have not been able to find them in the right color, but I have the right model to show you - thanks to Kate. Tell me, what do you think of her new pumps? Orange is one of the most trendy colors to wear right know and Mary really rock wearing them. I imagine dresses, trousers and skirts from her clothes that would do great with these new pumps. She embraced the style with Annikat earrings, bracelets from Dulong Fine Jewelry and an Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen diamond ring. Unfortunately her black clutch is still a mystery to me.

Axcel's Company Day 2019

14 May

In many ways it was a special day on Tuesday, when the Crown Princess attended Axcel's Company Day 2019. She celebrated her 15th wedding anniversary doing what she does best: being an advocate and representative for the Danish royal house. Congratulations to the lovely couple.

Around noon, the Crown Princess arrived to Docken to attend the aforementioned arrangement. This year Company Day celebrate its 20th anniversary. Company Day is arranged by the think tank Axcelfuture and is an investment for the benefit of the Danish society.

Right from the beginning, Crown Princess Mary was in a splendid mood. She was welcomed with great smiles, flowers and handshakes. Shortly after arrival she entered the stage af gave a speech. She was one big smile giving her speak as part of the conference. This year's conference goes under the theme 'The Business of Al'.

Mary looked absolutely great attending the Compay Day event at Docken in Copenhagen Tuesday noon. She was beautifully dressed in a bright red belted Dolce & Gabbana dress. She has previously been seen wearing the dress matched by that stunning red tweed jacket from YDE Copenhagen, here. Then and now are quite alike. I wish one day to own a red dress like hers. The colour is all perfect. Personally I love to wear red, but it has to be the right shade. This is it. Mary looks just magnificent.

She accessorized the outfit with both bracelets from Cartier and Dulong Fine Jewelry. All reused pieces, but not out of style. Basically, what is ever out of style? Trends keep coming back and Mary beautifully shows how to wear pieces for more than two weeks. Like the Nadia Shelbaya necklace with the emerald beads. To me it looks like she's wearing a hairclip as well. I can't tell if we have seen it before, because I need a close up. The clutch is created by Naledi Copenhagen and those edgy red suede pumps are Gianvito Rossi design (please be mine one day!).

Opening of the Cultural Year 2019 between South Korea & Denmark

30 January

Earlier that day, Crown Princess Mary visited the Volunteer House Trøjborg in Aarhus, here. On occasion of that she also payed a visit to "Cases that Gathers". Two volunteer initiatives.

In the evening, Crown Princess Mary attended the official opening of the Cultural Year 2019 between South Korea and Denmark. She attended as both guest of honor and patron of the event. For more than 60 years, South Korea and Denmark have had diplomatic relations that are now celebrated with a common cultural year for the two countries. The arrangement is set to focus on both youth and innovation in the cultural exchange. That is what the Crown Princess has accepted to represent.

The opening took place at the Art Hall Aarhus. Here numerous representatives attended the opening along with Crown Princess Mary. The southkorean artist Kim Boem has an exhibition at Art Hall Aarhus, which the Crown Princess was shown with great interest and admiration. No doubt that everyone were in a good mood during the opening of the Cultural Year 2019 between South Korea and Denmark. Let the celebration begin.

I almost missed this event. I have been a few days behind and nearly forgot all about this one. Not good. But luckily I didn't, which would also have ben quite a shame because Mary's outfit looked so nice. She had chosen to wear her old black YDE Copenhagen coat featuring incredible work of embroidery. She first wore it on occasion of Copenhagen Fashion Week 2017, here with the very same white Britt Sisseck blouse as this Wednesday. Later Mary showed up wearing the coat at the Cancer Society's Honorary Award 2018, here. I still like it and it looks great with the black trousers.

Mary embraced the chic style by wearing lovely jewellery. A first I thought it was her old ruby earrings featuring a white pearl pendant, but that is only a suggestion. She also wore her golden Cartier bangle and one from Dulong Fine Jewelry. Her fine green emerald ring is from Annikat.

The shoes you know all about. A pair of classy pointed Valentino's, studded and in green leather. Don't thought I would ever fancy these pumps in green, but Mary know how to rock even green leather pumps. Right? You probably also noticed that little black clutch box. It is from Louis Vuitton. From what I know, we first saw the clutch back in 2009 at the premiere of "At the End of the World", here. And of course (not to forget) she styled her simple hairstyle with a hairclip.

The Cancer Society's Honorary Award 2018

Sunday, February 4th

On occasion of World Cancer Day 2018, here, the Crown Princess attended the presentation of the Cancer Society's Honorary Award 2018, here. The reward show took place in Skuespilhuset in Copenhagen. She arrived in a great mood and was welcomed with flowers and handshakes. Shortly after she arrived, the Crown Princess entered the stage and presented this years winners -Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen and CEO of Danish Regions Bent Hansen. Congratulations to both of them with the prestige prize. They were chosen as winners because of their commitment to introduce the cancer packages ten years ago. This gives (possible) cancer patients possibilities for a medical examination and a customized treatment. The awards are given along DKK 50,000.

Mary was beautifully dressed at the occasion of the Cancer Society's Honorary Award ceremony in Skuespilhuset. She showed up wearing a few new pieces and some reused. She dazzled in a dusty pink and black combination. The coat is from YDE Copenhagen and was first worn on January 31st 2017 at Copenhagen Fashion Week, here. Back then Mary also wore the coat with black trousers as this time. I really like the combo but would also like to see the coat worn with maybe a dress. How nice would that be? No white blouse at the presentation. Instead Mary amazed me by wearing a brand new dusty pink blouse featuring the most incredible details. Just take a look at the neckline or hemline. So beautiful. I have not found out yet who designed. In the same lovely colour she had chosen earrings from Dulong Fine Jewelry. Also a reuse. What's not old, are her shoes. They are brand new as the blouse. Their identity are still a mystery. At first sight it looks like black embroidered pumps. Somehow I am convinced they are not embroidered, but made of black velvet. Did you manage to find a close-up? I would very much like to hear your opinion. She embraced a polished and chic look with a half updo, natural makeup and her suede Hugo Boss clutch. A great match? -indeed.

-Arrival-
Time is up. We do not have to wait any longer for the Crown Prince couple to go to Japan on their official state visit. Don't know about you, but this is something I have been looking forward to in a very long time. It is not the first time the Danish couple visits Japan. Back in 2015 the couple had their first official visit in Japan, here. This year the Japanese Crown Prince couple visit Denmark -a memorable visit, here. This time the Crown Prince couple will stay in Japan from October 8-12th where they are at the forefront of a business- and cultural promotion. It is also a part of a celebration of diplomatic relations between Japan and Denmark throughout 150 years. At the arrival Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary were warmly welcomed by the Japanese Crown Prince and Crown Princess. To me it looks like it was a happy reunion for the two couple's to meet again.

Already at the arrival Mary showed us a high standard for what to expect in the next couple of days during the visit. She stepped out of the car wearing a brand new multi colour coat, which appears to be from YDE Copenhagen (SS16). It was identified by Heaven. She embrace a chic outfit by wearing a white silk blouse found at Britt Sisseck (AW15), here, and slim black trousers, a combination I am pretty sure we have seen on one occasion before this. Actually with a similar coat, from the same designer as at the arrival. Do you recall the event I am talking about? Earlier this year she attended Copenhagen Fashion Week 2017 where was dressed in a white blouse and black trousers, here. To me it looks like the exact same outfit. This time, in Japan, looks just as great as the first time. Don't you think? Any of them you like better? She accessorized her chic and very modern-looking outfit with mesh-paneled suede pumps from Gianvito Rossi. Wonder if she was also wearing earrings and a couple of bracelets as well? -a combo we have seen a lot lately. No doubt that I am going to wear something similar to this outfit tomorrow.

-Denmark Festival & Walkathon-
The Crown Princess couple attended their second, out of three, events around noon in Toyosu Park, Tokyo. The event the Danish royal couple attended is Denmark Festival & Walkathon made in collaboration of ECCO Japan (shoes) and Novo Nordisk (medicine). Simply wonderful to see the couple together for this event in Tokyo. They make a great working team and both of them really seemed to enjoy every single moment of the festival and the following Walkathon -a 5.7 km. walk, which they participated. Walkathon is a walk held by ECCO each year to collect money for the Heart Association and SOS Børnebyerne. As part of the Walkathon, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary handed over charity donations to two NGO winners. Several Danish companies participated the festival such as the royal couple did, who got a change to meet each during the first day of this official state visit. Overall, the festival focuses on Denmark and Danish lifestyle. Also with with focus on the diplomatic relations between Denmark and Japan, which celebrate 150th anniversary this year.

Attending the event in Toyosu Park made Mary change clothes twice, which is rather unusual. I see why she did but it is just not something we see very often. Usually she makes one clothes-changing during a day o an official visit. So far, she had already change twice and there is a dinner as well in the evening. When the couple first arrived to the Denmark Festival she was dressed in one of her reused white blouses from Isabel Marant and what I believe is a pair of new blue trousers. Actually, I think it makes a great look. The brown Chloé cross-body bag she has worn a several other occasions. As with the bag, her new nude ballet flats has been found, by Kate, at Chloé. She managed to find that close-up I didn't find. Mary had accessorized her relaxed outfit with jewellery from both Dulong Fine Jewelry and, what I believe, is an Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen ring. I also got a glimpse of a pair of sunglasses. At first I thought it was her old leopard sunglasses from Dolce & Gabbana, but the most I look at them I think these are new, here. A lovely outfit with great potential.

The third outfit she showed of was also at the festival. She changed from ballet flats to new ECCO sneakers. From one white blouse to another. Mary matched a white t-shirt with her beige Ralph Lauren trousers worn the first time earlier this year at an Free of Bullying event. So them Mary and her husband participated the 5.7 km. Walkathon she was perfectly dressed in a practical outfit. But no complete outfit without a few accessories, which is probably why Mary had chosen to wear a cap from Cavalleris Toscana, her brown cross-body bag from Chloé, sunglasses  and jewellery from Cartier and Dulong Fine Jewelry. Do you have any favourite outfits so far? Personally, I think I will go with her second look -the white Isabel Marant blouse and new Chloé ballet flats.

-Dinner-
In the evening Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary were invited to a dinner at the Danish Embassy in Tokyo. The dinner was hosted by Ambassador Freddy Savne and his wife Lise Frederiksen. According to the official program the Crown Prince couple got the chance to enjoy some art at the Embassy lent from State Art Foundation. Unfortunately, no picture have been published nor have I been able to find any reference mentioning the dinner. So, I assume it was a more private event.
