"Kongeparrets Priser: De Udvalgte"

October 27, 2025

For many years the royal couple have personally visited and met with winners of the Crown Prince Couple's Awards. These interviews are usually part of the final award show.

This year the interviews with film director Christina Rosendahl, Code of Care and Grønne Nabofællesskaber have been released on prior to the tv show. Both shows are also broadcasted on Danish television on November 1st and on DR TV.

Shop the look: introduction

The couple shortly introduced the interviews with a few words clearly recorded at Frederik VIII's Palace at Amalienborg. Mary looked beautiful in her reused green Massimo Dutti suit and plain white The Fold London blouse. Nothing can go wrong with a simple button-down and a suit. Especially a colorful one. The green belt was a great detail.

Mary embraced the style with green emerald studs created by Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen and a beloved Nadia Shelbaya necklace. She also wore her custom-made Julie Sandlau necklace featuring her children's initials.

While King Frederik paid a visit to Code of Care, Mary then met with film director and screenwriter Christina Rosendahl who won the Culture Award. Christina showed Mary her workplace and shared about her work on creating a new film.

Mary looked stunning in her white button-down and printed Zimmermann skirt. A true summer outfit! I love the rope belt that comes with the skirt. She beautifully accessorized the casual outfit with golden Dulong Fine Jewelry earrings and a custom-made ring featuring a rose quartz stone.

She wore a couple of bracelets as well. A colorful one from Dulong Fine Jewelry and a golden diamond bangle from Rebekka Notkin. We also get a glimpse of her brown leather sandals from Gianvito Rossi. Her watch is an old one from Cartier.

The couple accompanied each other when visiting Grønne Nabofællesskaber. While Frederik joined the kitchen and helped prepare for a meal, Mary was given a guided tour around one of the community's gardens.

By looking at her outfits I guess the interviews were directed during summertime. Her amazing denim dress is a brand new one from POLO Ralph Lauren. Don't know if I ever thought we would see her wear a dress like this but I love it.

Mary style the denim dream with golden Dulong Fine Jewelry earrings, a beloved golden diamond necklace from Louise Grønlykke and a Rebekka Notkin bangle. The colorful beaded bracelet is a creation by Dulong Fine Jewelry.

Somehow the Ray Ban sunglasses made the perfect statement accessory for this outfit such as the white Adidas sneakers.

Mail to the Mary Foundation

May 21, 2025

For many years the Mary Foundation has collaborated with the Ole Kirk's Foundation and LOKK to make a difference for children who followed their parent to a shelter. Every year around 2,000 children are to be found at shelter's in Denmark.

These children are given backpacks as a small contributes to a new life. The backpacks contain toys, books, clothes and a postcard. This postcard offers room for a writing or a drawing to share with the Queen and the Mary Foundation.

The Queen shared a few words about how grateful she is to receive this many postcards from children all over Denmark who found happiness and joy in their backpacks.

What is better than a good old black blazer and a little knitwear? I can't really decide if her outfit is a reuse or if she is wearing new pieces. Mary has quite a lot black blazer and similar knitted sweaters like this. Do you recognize it? I guess she was be wearing black trousers to match the rest of the outfit.

She styled it with chic Gucci glasses and a couple of necklaces. They are loved ones from Julie Sandlau featuring her children's initials (C I V J) and a green beads necklace from Nadia Shelbaya. We also get a glimpse of her rather new solid silver (or steal?) ring. Have you read anything about this ring?

Presentation of The Queen Mary Scholarship

May 16, 2025

Queen Mar arrived at University of Copenhagen as guest of honor. She was to present the recipients of The Queen Mary Scholarship.

The scholarship is awarded to Australian exchange students studying in Denmark. It is a recognition of their academic excellence, their commitment to the study environment and their role in strengthening the connection between Australia and Denmark.

Student of archaeology Emilija Celar and student of law Edward Noel Ford received this year's Queen Mary Scholarship. Congratulations to both of them.

Mary seems to love a good old suit. She has worn them quite a lot lately. Maybe I had hoped for something else for the presentation at University of Copenhagen. Think she looks a bit pale. I miss a little color. A clutch, a pair of earrings are a colorful blouse.

Her fine suit is a reuse from Massimo Dutti. She first wore it in 2017 when visiting Japan. On May 16th Mary had chosen to wear a brand new Harris Wharf London blouse. A least it is the first time she wears it. Her youngest daughter Princess Josephine wore the exact same one when celebrating Princess Isabella's birthday in April.

The fine golden earrings and the stunning Rose Quartz necklace are both creations from Dulong Fine Jewelry. We haven't seen the necklace for quite a few years. We get a glimpse of her Nadia Shelbaya necklace. The beautiful sling-back pumps are from Valentino.

Visit at the Kidney Association's Dialysis Clinic

May 09, 2025

Queen Mary visited the Kidney Association's Dialysis Clinic in Svaneke on Bornholm. She was warmly welcomed at the clinic by CEO of the Kidney Association Michael Buksti, nurse and clinical manager of the clinic for guest dialysis Lenette Ipsen and chairwoman of the Kidney Association's Bornholm branch Karin Pihl Andersen.

The Queen was given a guided tour around the clinic. She watched how a dialysis work and had opportunity to talk to some of the patients. She was also given an inside in what it takes to live a life with weekly dialysis treatment and everything that follows.

Mary was beautifully dressed in a casual outfit when visiting dialysis clinic in Svaneke, Bornholm. She styled a reused denim shirt from POLO Ralph Lauren with simple black trousers and a fine brown leather belt from Celine. Nothing special about the look but she made it work with such perfection. In a way only she can.

Looks like Mary was wearing suede boots. The lack of photos makes it hard for me to tell if she has worn them before or is they are new. I guess we have seen them before. Maybe her beloved Prada buckle boots?

Pretty sure I have seen a photo that show her wearing golden Dulong Fine Jewelry earrings matching the elegant Nadia Shelbaya necklace.

Concert with the Royal Danish Academy of Music

06 May 2025

Queen Mary took over as patron of the Royal Danish Academy of Music after her mother-in-law after the proclamation last year. This was her first meeting with the music conservatory.

She was guest of honor when attending the concert orchestrated by the Royal Danish Academy of Music, led by students from the conducting school.

The Queen was first given a guided tour around the beautiful building created by architect Vilhelm Lauritzen.

I am not sure it was the perfect "concert outfit" but I truly love how she matched her soft white Max Mara vest and trousers with a brand new dusty rose Max Mara blazer. Earlier today she hosted a meeting with of UNFPA's Executive Director, the Director for Development Policy and UNPFA's Nordic Representative Office wearing the same outfit. Maybe a bit more appropriate for a meeting?

She embraced the style with stunning golden South Sea pearl earrings from Dulong Fine Jewelry and necklaces from Nadia Shelbaya and Julie Sandlau. I am still very interested in learning more about her diamond ring.

I like the idea of dusty rose pumps to match with blazer. Maybe her Gianvito Rossi python pumps wasn't the right choice? What do you think? But they look fantastic with the reused leather handbag from Max Mara!

Meeting with UNFPA

06 May 2025

Queen Mary hosted a meeting with attendance UNFPA Executive Director Dr. Natalia Kanem, The Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Director for Development Policy Elsebeth Søndergaard Krone and Director of UNFPA's Nordic Representative Office Ulla Müller.

The Queen has been patron for the United Nation's Population Fund (UNFPA) for the last 15 years. She spend her time focusing on girls and women's health and rights across the globe.

Dr. Natalia Kanem informed the Queen about the foundation's work about, among others things, maternal mortality, family planning, combating violence against women and involving the private sector.

Mary looked spectacular at her meeting with Dr. Natalia Kanem, Elsebeth Søndergaard Krone and Ulla Müller. She wore a brand new dusty pink Max Mara blazer matched with a reused white vest and wide-legged trousers from the same designer.

I really like how she accessorized the outfit. The two necklaces from Nadia Shelbaya and Julie Sandlau are such beautiful pieces. I am still very interested in knowing more about her diamond ring. It is simply remarkable. The earrings are old ones crafted by Dulong Fine Jewelry.

We get a glimpse of her shoes as well. Pointed snakeskin pumps from Gianvito Rossi. A great detail.

Summer at Fredensborg

05 May 2025

King Frederik and Queen Mary were officially welcomed in Fredensborg at Kancellihuset where the family will be living during the summer.

They were welcomed outside Kancellihuset by people who had showed up to get a glimpse of the couple. The Mayor of Fredensborg also welcomed the couple with a speech. The girl's choir of Fredensborg Castle Church gave a small concert on the occasion followed by music and singing by Fredensborg Brass Ensamble.

Mary looked beautiful in a very casual outfit when welcomed in Fredensborg. She wore fine navy blue trousers and a reused linen blouse from Bagutta. A first glance her coat looked new but she has in fact worn it before. Among others at the presentation of the annual Christmas Stamp 2024. The belt is from Prada.

She embraced the style with cool golden earrings from Dulong Fine Jewelry and a couple of necklaces from Nadia Shelbaya and Julie Sandlau. I am very interested in her rings. The diamond one is rather new. Looks like a three-in-one-piece. On her other hand is a more heavy silver ring. I noticed her wearing it at the inauguration of the REGAN Vest-trail back in April.

The dark blue suede boots from Prada are a great choice for the occasion.

DTU's annual party

02 May 2025

Queen Mary attended DTU's annual party in Kongens Lyngby. She was guest of honor. Chairwoman of the board Margrethe Vestager (former EU Competition Commissioner) and Principal of DTU Anders Bjarklev welcomed the Queen at her arrival.

Both studens, employees, external partners from other universities, companies, industries and authorities were all invited to attend the grand party.

This is the main reason why I do not cut my hair. I want a hair-do like Mary's! Some years ago Mary loved these soft and elegant hairstyles. I loved that. Then fashion changed and now we rarely get to see her with up-do's. My dream came true at DTU's annual party. Her hair looked absolutely stunning.

So did her outfit. That new ruffled Zimmermann blouse is simple incredible. Almost delicate. Usually I don't like black on white but the black details are truly remarkable. Mary styled the new blouse with yet another pair of new trousers. Also from Zimmermann.

I am also thrilled to see that purple satin clutch again. It goes way back and is from Anya Hindmarch. The shape and pleatings are so beautiful. We also get a glimpse of her shoes. Reused studded pumps from Gianvito Rossi. Don't quite get the shoes but I like them.

"Me&We"

02 May 2025

Queen Mary and CEO of the Mary Foundation Helle Østergaard arrived at Roskilde Business School in Roskilde

They was warmly welcomed by CEO Morten Lindegaard Banke Rasmussen, Mayor Tomas Breddam and CEO of Education Dorthe Schoubye. Two students at Roskilde Business School also welcomed the Queen.

Queen Mary and Helle Østergaard visited Roskilde Business School as representatives of the Mary Foundation to hear how they work with the project "Me&We".

"Me&We" is a wellfare program for students at among others 10th grade (a class between elementary school and higher education". The program is now launched at Danish business school's.

I love how she turned a business-look into a casual and classy outfit. The soft blazer and creamy white linen trousers makes a wonderful outfit. Believe she has worn the blazer before but I am not quite sure about the trousers. Mary has worn so many new things lately, which makes me a bit confused about new and old. The belt is a really clever detail. Any idea where it is from? I'm curious to know.

Other than the belt Mary styled her outfit with chic Gucci glasses, a lovely brown leather handbag from Max Mara and black suede pumps from Gianvito Rossi.

I am thrilled to see her wearing that fine Nadia Shelbaya necklace again. It is an old favorite of hers. I kinda miss it. Both the golden earrings and outstanding golden custom-made ring are created by Dulong Fine Jewelry.

Inauguration of Campus Horsens

24 September

Since she married Crown Prince Frederik more than 17 years ago, the Crown Princess has attended a number of inaugurations. She added one more to the list on Friday.

Crown Princess Mary arrived to Horsens a little before 1 o'clock local time to attended the grand inauguration of Campus Horsens at VIA University College. As guest of honor, she was warmly welcomed with smiles - lots of smiles, and flowers. She cut the traditional red ribbon and was then given a guided tour around the facilities.

The new campus offers, among others, 27 different professional bachelor programs with students from 45 different countries. The facilities also got a social and health school and a culture house for young people.

Mary looks amazing in green. This green color is lovely next to her dark brown hair and fair skin. A great colors this time a year. Love when Mary wears colorful clothes. I learned from UFO No More that her new dress is from Beulah London. Just look at those details. The small buttons are so nice for a simple dress like this. The nude Prada belt is spot on. Gives her the hourglass silhouette and show her thin waist beautifully. I would wear the Beulah London dress right away.

She matched the rest of her outfit and especially the belt with nude pointed pumps from Prada. The pointed toe made her legs look longer. Great with the midi length dress. A closer look revealed that she was also wearing quite a few pieces of jewellery. The stunning Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen earrings were perfect with their green stone and white pearls. Even her necklace matched with its green color. It is from Nadia Shelbaya.

She wore three bracelets as well. One from Cartier and the other two are from Dulong Fine Jewelry and Rebekka Notkin. Truly favorites of hers at the moment. I also spotted a golden diamond band from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen.

100 years with a diplomatic relationsship between Denmark and Switzerland

21 September

Often, Crown Princess Mary is guest of honor at different events. So was she, when she attended a very special dinner on Tuesday evening. The reason for her attendance, was the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the diplomatic realtions between Denmark and Switzerland, and 50 years with Roche in Denmark.

The Ambassador to Switzerland Florence Tinguely Mattli warmly welcomed the Crown Princess when she arrived to the Swiss Embassy in Hellerup. Tinguely Mattli was host of the evening. Richard Wright, Head of Portfolio Strategy and Member of the Board for Roche Dr Christoph Franz also attended the anniversary.

It seems like a wonderful evening for all of them. Crown Princess was really in a splendid mood. All smiles and glimpsing eyes.

Finally, we see that beautiful Alexander McQueen dress again. Mary first wore the dress in 2017, when  Crown Prince Naruhito of Japan paid a visit in Copenhagen (here). I do like this dress, but I also have many others I like a bit more. She changed that at the 100th anniversary celebration of the diplomatic realtionsship between Denmark and Switzerland. Mary looked stunning!

She embraced the style by wearing some pretty incredible jewellery. Of course, we all noticed her new Dulong Fine Jewelry earrings first. The magnificent emerald beads pieces worked as pendants for golden earrings from the same talented designer. Mary also matched them with a few other green jewellery. Like the thin and elegant Nadia Shelby necklace and her Dulong Fine Jewelry ring. A wonderful choice to pick the same colored stones. She wore a couple of bracelets as well. One from Cartier, two others from Dulong Fine Jewelry.

The black glitter box clutch from Sergio Rossi looked great with the rest of her outfit. Gives it a bit sparkle and glamour. Perfect for the event. The same goes with the Arteana pointed sling-back pumps. They are a light touch for an evening look. Her hairstyle was so inspiring.

Grand opening of "Dronningens Ansigter"

16th June

When Queen Margrethe celebrated her 80th birthday a couple of months ago, nothing was a planned. We all know why. Despite change of plans I am sure she enjoyed her day. In several interviews she noted that it has been a very special and memorable day. But alls official plans of celebrating her, was still canceled. With everything getting back to normal some of these plans has been redeemed in the last few days. Among others things, she was celebrated by a children's choir. The small concert took place at Christiansborg the same day as the opening of the new exhibition, here.

Denmark's 98 municipalities have also come together for a joint gift to the Queen on the occasion of her 80th birthday in April. The gift was also revealed yesterday at Christiansborg. The municipalities presented 98 paintings made by children in third grade. Here you see some of the paintings.

In the afternoon, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary accompanied the Queen and attended the official opening of "Dronningens Ansigter" (The Faces of the Queen), here. An exhibition portraying her life.  Both paintings, clothes, porcelain, pictures and much more are exhibited. The three of them arrived to the Museum of National History at Frederiksborg Castle in Hillerød in a splendid mood Tuesday afternoon. Lovely seeing them together again, right? Especially, on such a joyful day.

As part of the opening, a new portray was revealed by Queen Margrethe herself. A portrait by Niels Strøbek, here. Watching the exhibition created both laughter and smiles.

What a magnificent outfit. So elegant and so simple. When wearing such a simple outfit every little detail counts. All details are also eye-catching. Mary has made a great comeback with her last two outfits. I sense that many of you was inspired by what she wore when attending the opening of "Naturværk" on June 12th, here. If I am correct: you like this looks very much too. So do I.

From Heaven I learned that Mary was wearing a brand new Beulah London dress. Very 1950s, right? Its full skirt; high collar; covered buttons; and belted waist. Already, I imagine her wearing the dress with all sorts of accessories. Colored pumps, diamond earrings, a tote-bag, even a pair of sneakers would do. She embraced the style with white suede pumps from Gianvito Rossi. Impressive how these two white colors match with such perfection. Mary has always had a good eye of finding pieces from different designers in the same colors.

Her stunning coral and diamond earrings are her old creation from Dulong Fine Jewelry. These earrings come with several pendants. Different in both color, style and size. She wore quite a few bracelets - two diamond bangles from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen, one from Cartier, another one from Dulong Fine Jewelry and a fifth one designed by Rebekka Notkin. Maybe you noticed that her Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen bangles look a lot like the ring. It is simply because they are from the same designer and collection. Her green beaded necklace is from Nadia Shelbaya.

Even Mary's hairstyle is all 1950s. Soft curls and a half updo. Another 50s-inspired thing, is her new clutch. 1950s style was all about colors and patterns, and this new clutch match that perfectly. Heaven made me aware of a significant detail. It looks like her monogram ('M') is embroidered in red. It now turned out to be a handmade handbag by Queen Margrethe specially made for Mary. Lovely gesture, right?

Opening of Naturkraft

12th June

It was a day of flowers, wind machines, experiments and lots of smiles, when the Crown Princess attended the opening of "Naturkraft" (Force of Nature). It is a brand new universe of experience in Ringkøbing. This new universe combine learning with play and make it another way of learning about the green transition. Through especially sensory experiences, the place should help us learn about the forces of nature and how to deal with these forces, and use them to our advantage instead of fighting against them.

For sure we cannot help yourselves from being thrilled that she is back, but what hit my while looking at all the new pictures I realized that she looks even more thrilled than the rest of us. She was one big smile from the moment she arrived. The welcoming was sincere and warm - despite Crown Princess Mary at one point looked a bit cold. But that smile make everybody warm again, right?

The Crown Princess officially opened Naturkraft by cutting the tradition red ribbon, only, the ribbon had been replaced by a branch of flowers. Beautiful. When visiting the new facilities she made a few new friends, among others, the wind machine that gives you a clear view on how vest wind feels like on the Danish coast. Seems like it was truly a wonderful day for all of them.

On her way home from, she made a private visit in Ringkøbing, here. She was spotted by some of the bypassing citizens in Ringkøbing. The Crown Princess took time visiting one of Prince Henrik's sculptures named "Miss Ringkøbing". The sculpture was first given the name "Miss Fredensborg" because Prince Henrik made it as one of the first sculptures to Fredensborg Castle. Later Ringkøbing purchased the artwork and it is now located at Ringkøbing Square.

Showing up in Ringkøbing Mary had chosen one of the most casual looks we have ever seen I think. Very simple, comfortable and all relaxed. She looked great in that new creamy white linen blazer. Though it is as simple as it can be, I think you should take a look at all the details. It embraces her body beautifully.

Mary styled her new blazer with, what I believe, is a reused button-down shirt. One with pin-stripes and a lovely dusty blue color. I believe she wore it at a weekly meeting with the Mary Fondation in September 2019, here. I has been found by Heaven at BA&SH. Despite a closet full of black trousers, these seems to be new. Like how the style is a bit baggy. Makes her outfit way more casual and loose than if she had worn a pair of fitted trousers. I like this very much. Unfortunately, I am not able to provide you with much info about neither her blouse, trousers or blazer.

What I do no for a fact, is that Mary stunned wearing golden hoops from Dulong Fine Jewelry such as with the rather large golden ring. I see another reused piece of jewellery and that is her diamond bangle from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. There are some more bracelets, but the lack of pictures makes it hard to tell the identity of those pieces - yet. Could be her Cartier bangle. The necklace is from talented Nadia Shelbaya.

She topped it off with a colorful scarf. A white and orange leopard (?) scarf that goes back to 2012, here. It has never been identified and it still isn't. Of course, we cannot forget about the shoes. Cap-toe espadrilles shoes from Chanel. This is the first time she wears them at a public appearance, but in fact we have seen them before. Last year, when the family visited different cities and places all over Denmark as part of their holiday, here. So, tell me do you like this second "back-to-work" outfit?

The opening of Holmegaard Værk

8th June

I almost cannot remember how to write these posts. It has been such a long time without any writings, but slowly it feels more natural while I am in the process. Today, Crown Princess Mary was back at work. Well, we have seen her at a couple of meetings the past month or so. But today, she was finally back attending the opening of the brand new "Holmegaard Værk".

Holmegaard Værk is a new designmuseum capturing the essence of a long history of glass, ceramic and design. Holmegaard Glasværk goes back to the around mid-19th century. Since then the company has made some of the most iconic glass work that have become a big part of Denmark's design history.  Today, all of that are gathered at Holmegaard Værk. The new museum are both design, arts and crafts, new ways of communication these two and gatherings people.

Crown Princess Mary arrived to Fensmark in Næstved (where Holmegaard Værk is located) in a splendid mood. Maybe she had been looking forward to this day as much as we have? I think so. She was warmly welcomed by Mayor Carsten Rasmussen, Director of Museum Southeast Denmark Keld Møller Hansen and Director of Realdania Jester Nygård. All of them seemed extremely pleasant both at the arrival and during the visit.

She was one big smile and all ears. It is clear that the Crown Princess was stunned and fascinated by all the 42,000 pieces of glasswork surrounding her. Imagine all that glass at one place. Wauw, right? She was also shown and taught how champagne glass are made. They also had a little surprise for her. Bjørn Friborg from Holmegaard Værk had created a piece of art, which was given to her as a gift.

It was a treat seeing her again today and even better, she wore the most gorgeous summer outfit. Crispy white, stunning pearls, bright blue and a little floral print. Something new. Something old. You probably remember having seen that simple white Elise Gug blouse before. Actually, it has been part of her wardrobe for around seven years now. She has worn the blouse with everything from powder pink skirts and black pants suits. This time she embraced the style with a brand new pleated floral printed skirt from Paul & Joe. I learned about the skirt from Heaven.

What an incredible combo, right? You have to have fallen in love with this print. It is almost mesmerizing. No outfit without a bit of jewellery, a clutch and (of course) shoes. For this particular outfit, Mary had chosen white pearl earrings created by Dulong Fine Jewelry. They go way back in time, as with the blouse. But these earrings goes way longer back in time. To be more specific. Mary wore the earrings on April 30th 2006, here. She later added a ring matching in style - made by the same designer. Nadia Shelbaya's stunning necklace is a great addition to her outfit.

Her braided straw clutch is old news as well. Unfortunately, I have never been able to point out a designer. Have you? To my knowledge she wore it the first time at Prince Felix's confirmation in 2017. The last final touch has to be her eye-catching blue Gianvito Rossi pumps. Artwork shaped as shoes.

Day 3. Work visit in Indonesia

04 December

THE BOROBUDUR TEMPLE

This is the last day of her work visit in Indonesia. She has been accompanied by Minister of Development, Rasmus Prehn and Executive Director of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Natalia Kanem all along.

The last couple the three of them have visited, met and talked to people who are working to improve girls and women's sexual and reproductive health and rights in Indonesia.

First thing early Wednesday morning Crown Princess Mary visited the Borobudur Temple. Her visiting the temple was not part of the official program. Borobudur Temple is a Buddhist monastery associated with the Mahayana tradition. It is one of the biggest Buddhist monuments in the world. What an incredible place. I get why the Crown Princess was all overwhelmed of what surrounded her. Also Minister of Development, Rasmus Prehn seemed to enjoyed the old building's rising to be the Borobudur Temple.

THE FINAL DAY

Later in the morning Crown Princess visited the healthcare center Puskesmas Tegalrejo. She was accompanied by Natalia Kanem (the Executive Director of UNFPA). These healthcare centers are part of the general improvement trying to offer better healthcare solutions for more people all around Indonesia. During their visit the Crown Princess took time to talk with girls and women at the healthcare center about sexual and reproductive health and rights.

After having visited Puskesmas Tegalrejo she was invited for lunch at the Sultan's palace hosted by the Sultan Hamengkubuwono X himself. The Crown Princess was warmly welcomed by the Sultan and his wife when she arrived. All three of them were in a great spirit, which is also why I believe it must have been a pleasant lunch.

All day she was all ears and eyes. Especially when attending a dialogue about family planning and the involvement of men. Crown Princess Mary attended this dialogue with Rasmus Prehn. On the other side of the dialogue were religious leaders. It was discussed who these leaders can use their importance to advise and improve knowledge for fathers to be. I imagine it being an interesting meeting for both the Crown Princess in her work and for Rasmus Prehn in his work as Minister of Development. The dialogue was the last thing on her agenda before leaving Indonesia.

Spending the morning at the Borobudur Temple in Java Mary was dressed in a comfortable outfit. She stunned wearing a brand new embroidered maxi skirt. Her new skirt has been identified as Zimmermann. I learned about it from Kate who managed to find it. Matched with a simple white button-down shirt Mary looked very casual. With all her similar white shirts this is still unidentified. Somehow I think this outfit is more than perfect for the occasion and place she was visiting. The atmosphere surrounding her; her mood and that outfit were getting along perfectly.

Mary has an amazing style for more than one reason. One of them is her way of wearing jewelry. When I wear the same amount of jewelry as her, I often feel overdressed. Do you know that feeling? But Mary never looked overdressed on jewelry. They compliment the rest of her look with such perfection. Wednesday morning she had chosen to wear golden jewelry from both Danish and international designers.

The golden earrings and the matching bracelet are created by Dulong Fine Jewelry. So is the bracelet shaped as a leaf. Take a closer look at all three bracelets, also the one from Cartier. I got a closer look and noticed that she was also wearing two golden diamond rings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. Love the simplicity of each piece as with the Nadia Shelbaya necklace. The orange sunglasses are still a big mystery. No one has been able to identify where they are from. Do you have the answer?

The beige Chloé ballet flats have been seen before on several similar occasions as in Indonesia. To me it is so unreal that she is wearing ballet flats this time a year, because in Denmark we have to cover every inch of our body with warm clothes.

At her private visit to the Borobudur Temple Mary was dressed casual in a white button-down and a new embroidered Zimmermann skirt. When she was on official duty she changed to a brand new blue printed dress featuring a white collar and hemlines. The print is small flowers, but it is not easy to see on a distance. Look closer and you will see. A very cute print. The dress is not a new favorite of mine, but she looks comfortable wearing it. A Royal Fashion Blog, here, I learned that Beulah London created her new dress.

Most of the jewelry were the same as earlier in the morning. Both earrings and bracelets were the same. She added another Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen diamond bracelet to the outfit to match the two diamond rings. The reason why these pieces look similar are because they are from the very same collection called Love Bands. Such beautiful pieces.

Wearing the Beulah London dress she changed her shoes twice. I am not quite sure which pair she wore first, but Mary both wore her beige Chloé ballet flats (as earlier) and the stunning Gianvito Rossi beige python pumps. I love when she wears colorful clothes and simpler shoes in neutral colors and vice versa.
