University of Copenhagen's annual party 2024

08 November 2024

University of Copenhagen dates back to 1479. Each year the foundation is celebrated with an annual party.

This year, Queen Mary was invited as guest of honor to attend the celebration. She was welcomed by Henrik C. Wegener, Rector of University of Copenhagen and Chairman Merete Eldrup. In 2021, the Queen also attended the annual party. Back then as Crown Princess of Denmark.

Students who have won a gold or silver medal for their answers to prize-winning assignments received medals along with a travel scholarship from the Ib Henriksen Foundation and a scholarship from the University of Copenhagen.

Once again, Mary impressed me with what she was wearing at the celebration. I always loved the green Beulah London dress. The details are delicate, elegant and understated. Mary first wore the dress at the inauguration of Campus Horsens in 2021 and again at Flag Day in 2022. She matched the dress with the same green snakeskin belt as in 2022. The stunning brown woolen cape is a reuse from Oscar de la Renta.

This time, Mary had chosen the most incredible custom-made Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen earrings. Love the fine touch of color. The bracelet is a beloved Dulong Fine Jewelry creation made of black South sea pearls.

Her green snakeskin clutch from Carlend Copenhagen, hasn't got enough attention. It is so beautiful! A perfect match with the dress and belt. It goes back to 2014 at the presentation of the Brain Prize. I am always impressed by her ability to find similar colored accessories.

Her chic pumps are from Gianvito Rossi.

Gala reception at Copenhagen City Hall

21 November 2023

Crown Princess Mary was invited as guest of honor for a gala reception hosted on occasion of Vietnam's Vice President H.E. Vo Thi Ánh Xuân officially visiting Denmark (here). The two of them have met earlier when the Crown Prince Couple visited Vietnam in 2022 (here, here).

The magical reception took place at Copenhagen City Hall. All invited enjoyed notes of both the national song of Denmark and Vietnam.

Vice President H.E. Vo Thi Ánh Xuân will be meeting with Crown Prince Frederik tomorrow at Frederik VIII's Palace at Amalienborg for an official welcoming.

This is my favorite outfit of the year! Gosh I have always adored this Beulah London dress but every time Mary is wearing it, I fall in love with it even more. Just look at that amazing burgundy velvet. Sight! It is simply gorgeous. I truly need something velvet. Do you have anything velvet in your wardrobe?

Mary style her reused Beulah London midi dress with beautiful ruby earrings. They are part of Queen Ingrid's Ruby Parure which Crown Prince Frederik inherited after his great-grandmother for his wife to wear. Mary made a few alterations to the parure and now the earrings can be worn several ways.

We also get a glimpse of her two golden necklaces from Halberstadt and Julie Sandlau. The same goes with an (still) unidentified golden bangle. I hope we are able to identify it one day. I have the same hopes with her rather larger diamond ring which was accompanied by two diamond rings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen.

The black glitter clutch goes quite a few years back, but I have never found it. Her smashing tuxedo-like pumps are from her all-time-favorite shoe designer: Gianvito Rossi.

Flag Day 2022

05 September 2022

Since the Flag Day first took place in 2009, the Crown Prince Couple have attended the ceremony for many years. It is a day of honoring everyone who is or has been sent on mission for the Armed Forces, the Police, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Health Service and the Rescue Service.

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary arrived at Kastellet in Copenhagen early in the morning to attend a ceremony for those lost in battle. The couple placed a wreath at the Monument for Denmark's International Efforts after 1948.

After the ceremony at Kastellet, the Crown Prince Couple attended a church service in Holmens Church for Denmark's fallen soldiers. Let's have one minute of silence to honor those, who fight for a better world. For those who fight to keep us safe.

Mary is truly a master of picking the perfekt outfit for any given occasion she is attending. Just look at, when the couple attended the Flag Day 2022. She looked splendid in her reused dark green Beulah London dress. Isn't that color really lovely on her? I adore it next to her brown hair. Mary first wore this dress at the inauguration of Campus Horsens in September 2021 (here).

She embraced the style by wearing a stunning bespoke Susanne Juul hat. It has been part of her wardrobe for quite a few years. Over the years, she has worn it with several different decorations - flowers and so. The Gianvito Rossi pointed pumps are a perfect match to the color of her hat and unidentified clutch. I believe the green gloves are new.

The little peacock brooch is a reuse as well. Actually, it goes back to 2006 (here), but we have not seen it since 2009 (here). I have never been able to identify it. The delicate black pearl earrings, matching bracelet and ring are all created by talented Dulong Fine Jewelry.

Day 2. Business promotion visit in the Netherlands

21 June 2022

It had already been a great first day in the Netherlands for the Crown Prince Couple the previous day. The royal couple are visiting the Netherlands as part of a business promotion visit. They are traveling along with a Danish business delegation to promote and work on green and more sustainable solutions.

Crown Princess Mary had a few places to go on her second (and last day). First she paid a visit to the Leiden University Medical Centre. She was given knowledge about how they use HealthTech and MedTech solutions in the Netherlands.

Later on, the Danish Minster of Health Magnus Heunicke and seven representatives Danish health companies accompanied the Crown Princess, when she visited a hospital working along with the children's hopsital Willem-Alexander KinderZiekenhuis - named after the King of course.

Before they joined each other for a perception hosted by the Danish ambassador in the Netherlands, Crown Princess Mary participated a sum up with the Danish business delegation of the City Hall in Delf.

Mary looked stunning in that reused Beulah London dress. It really fits her slim figure and enhance her silhouette. She wore the same dress at the grand opening of "Dronningens Ansigter" on occasion of Queen Margrethe's 80th birthday in 2020 (here). The simple half-do made a wonderful job showing all the best of her dress and beautiful face.

She decided to match the creamy coloured dress with plenty of accessories. That's what makes a dress like this great. It can be accessorized with so many different pieces of jewellery, bags and shoes. Mary wore white pearl earrings and a couple of bracelets created by Dulong Fine Jewelry. Even the huge diamond ring is their design. The larger golden bangle is crafted by Rebekka Notkin - another very talented jewellery designer. Last but not least, her magnificent diamond bracelet from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen.

During the day, Mary changed and added a few pieces of accessories. Like the smashing Max Mara leather handbag. She had a shoe-change from heeled python pumps from Gianvito Rossi to stylish (and rather new) sling-back flats from Chanel. Both pair of shoes are a lovely match with the rest of her outfit.

Day 1. A visit to Bangladesh

25 April

ARRIVAL

Crown Princess Mary's visit to Bangladesh, was only announced the day before. The visit will last for three days. She arrived on April 25th to Dhaka in the morning and was warmly welcomed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs in Bangladesh (here, here).

The Crown Princess is visiting Bangladesh representing Denmark in supporting a corporation between the two countries and their work on solving issues in connection to climate changes. Especially renewable energy is on the agenda.

Arriving to Dhaka, Mary wore a lovely travel outfit. I have only been on a plane once, but traveling for many hours take the right outfit. Think Mary found it. She was wearing an old linen blazer with a pair of  trousers. The new brown Naledi Copenhagen bag was a great addition to the rest of the look. Heaven identified the bag. She also wore a lovely green scarf.

DURING THE DAY

Her official program started with a welcoming ceremony at Bangledesh's Primeminister Sheikh Hasina. The Crown Princess was accompanied by the Danish Minister of Development Flemming Møller Mortensen. He is also part of the "delegation" for the rest of the three-day visit.

Flemming Møller Mortensen also played a significant role already on the first day because he was the one to sign a so-called "green agreement". The same did Bangladesh's Foreign Minister H.E. A.K. Abdul Momen. It was a big day and Crown Princess Mary witness it all.

When she had lunch as the Danish Embassy in Dhaka, she met with other representative from several Danish companies. They shared their experiences and their work in Bangladesh with, among others, green and sustainable solutions in the climate field.

Mary looked absolutely lovely and really beautiful on her first day in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Heaven managed to identify her stunning blue printed dress as Beulah London. A designer she has become fund of the last couple of years. This is particularly delicate. Like a dreamy cake.

She matched her brand new dress with just as delicate and elegant accessories. The golden earrings featuring rather large white pearls have followed her for maaaany years. They are created by the talented Marianne Dulong from Dulong Fine Jewelry. If those earrings could speak. Mary also wore a couple of bracelets from the same designer. One of them old. The other one is all new. It is from Dulong Fine Jewelry's latest collection. Her golden necklace is a reuse. It is from Orit Elhanati. I truly admire her designs and creativity with materials and stones. Impressive craftsmanship! We also get a small glimpse of an old Anni Lu pearl bracelet.

Her pointed nude Prada pumps are old as well. She often likes to pair nude pumps with more colourfull outfits, but this time she paired them with a not se laud dress. Makes the outfit look so fine and fresh. Don't you think?

SAYEMAN BEACH RESORT

In the afternoon, the Crown Princess arrived to the Sayeman Beach Resort (here) - her hotel during the visit. She was friendly welcomed by the staff with happy faces, smiles and a bouquet of flowers.

Mary had changed to a more comfortable and relaxed outfit, when arriving to the hotel. She wore lovely green trousers and match them with a plain white blouse. Once again, she flashed her new brown leather bag from Naledi Copenhagen.

Inauguration of Campus Horsens

24 September

Since she married Crown Prince Frederik more than 17 years ago, the Crown Princess has attended a number of inaugurations. She added one more to the list on Friday.

Crown Princess Mary arrived to Horsens a little before 1 o'clock local time to attended the grand inauguration of Campus Horsens at VIA University College. As guest of honor, she was warmly welcomed with smiles - lots of smiles, and flowers. She cut the traditional red ribbon and was then given a guided tour around the facilities.

The new campus offers, among others, 27 different professional bachelor programs with students from 45 different countries. The facilities also got a social and health school and a culture house for young people.

Mary looks amazing in green. This green color is lovely next to her dark brown hair and fair skin. A great colors this time a year. Love when Mary wears colorful clothes. I learned from UFO No More that her new dress is from Beulah London. Just look at those details. The small buttons are so nice for a simple dress like this. The nude Prada belt is spot on. Gives her the hourglass silhouette and show her thin waist beautifully. I would wear the Beulah London dress right away.

She matched the rest of her outfit and especially the belt with nude pointed pumps from Prada. The pointed toe made her legs look longer. Great with the midi length dress. A closer look revealed that she was also wearing quite a few pieces of jewellery. The stunning Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen earrings were perfect with their green stone and white pearls. Even her necklace matched with its green color. It is from Nadia Shelbaya.

She wore three bracelets as well. One from Cartier and the other two are from Dulong Fine Jewelry and Rebekka Notkin. Truly favorites of hers at the moment. I also spotted a golden diamond band from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen.

The Crown Prince Couple's Prizes 2020

31st October

A day of celebration and honor. Once again, the Crown Prince Couple were about to present the winners of the Crown Prince Couple's Prizes 2020. This year the award show took place at Værket in Randers. Originally, the couple were suppose to attend another event prior to the big show, but due to the current pandemic things changed.

Early in the morning a couple of new photos were published of the Crown Prince and Crown Princess. Photographer Stine Heilmann captured this wonderful moment of the couple. These new photos - one of the couple together and another one with only Crown Prince Frederik - were relieved on occasions of the award show.

Later on, the Crown Prince shared the couple arriving to Randers, here, just before rehearsing the show. It was also captured and shared on social media. Love these glimpses of "behind the scene" moments. Usually, the Crown Prince couple are also a big part of the show and a rehearsal is necessary. Looks like they got the grip of it.

At 9 pm. local time, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary arrived to Værket in Randers once more. They were warmly welcomed with smiles, flowers and friendly words. The grand award show was broadcasted live on Danish TV. During the show four winners were presented:

● Actress Danica Curcic won the Crown Prince Couple's Culture Prize

● Kofoed School was given the Crown Prince Couple's Social Prize

●Choreographer Sebastian Kloberg and De Anbragtes Vilkår received the Crown Prince Couple's Stardust Prizes.

Congratulations to all of the winners and their: "Extraordinary efforts and achievements in art and culture as well as social work"*.

As usual, the show also shared previously recorded interviews between the Crown Prince Couple and some of the winners. In September, Crown Princess Mary visited Kofoed School who received the social prize, here.

Writing this post was quite a job. So much to keep in place but so far, I think I managed to remember most of it. This much to write about is also great, especially when we get to see all these incredible outfits. Think I speak for many of us, when I say that Mary looked absolutely splendid next to her husband on that new official photo. The beautiful white dress is a Beulah London creation. This time she embraced the style with a silver embossed snake belt and golden jewellery from both Dulong Fine Jewelry, Rebekka Notkin and Cartier. One amazing outfit!

Prior to the big show, Mary visited Kofoed School. They are the winner of the Crown Prince Couple's social prize. She embraced a summer chic style by wearing dusty green trousers and her white button-down shirt with printed animals. Nor the trousers and the blouse have been found. I wonder why, but sometimes she wears clothes that are out of the ordinary and that makes it hard to find her new pieces. She accessorized her outfit with golden jewellery from Dulong Fine Jewelry and Carter. The brown leather sandals are also new. It took awhile to identify them, but now we know they are from Gianvito Rossi.

At the rehearsal at Værket, Mary had chosen yet another great outfit. Way more appropriate for this time a year. Somehow I have a hard time figuring out if her clothes are new or if we have seen it before. She embraced the style by wearing a black figure-hugging sweater and grey checkered trousers. Looks like something we could have been on a previous occasions, but I am not sure. Do you recognize it? She accessorized the stunning outfit with Dulong Fine Jewelry bracelets and another one from Cartier. I am sure you also noticed that Mary wore her smashing ankle boots from Gianvito Rossi.

Finally, the couple arrived to attend a spectacular show in Randers. Mary was dressed in a brand new creation, which turned out to be a design by Søren Le Schmidt. He also made her gown last year, here. Do you remember it? This year the dress was way shorter and way more everyday like. It features sheer sleeves, a V-neckline and some metallic prints. Cannot wait to see how she is going to wear it at another event. Maybe with other shoes and a bag? How would you like her to style it? To complete her outfit, Mary wore blue aquamarine chandelier earrings, a laser cut silver bangle, her golden Cartier bracelet and those beautiful Manolo Blahnik pumps. She topped it of with an incredible half updo.

Grand opening of "Dronningens Ansigter"

16th June

When Queen Margrethe celebrated her 80th birthday a couple of months ago, nothing was a planned. We all know why. Despite change of plans I am sure she enjoyed her day. In several interviews she noted that it has been a very special and memorable day. But alls official plans of celebrating her, was still canceled. With everything getting back to normal some of these plans has been redeemed in the last few days. Among others things, she was celebrated by a children's choir. The small concert took place at Christiansborg the same day as the opening of the new exhibition, here.

Denmark's 98 municipalities have also come together for a joint gift to the Queen on the occasion of her 80th birthday in April. The gift was also revealed yesterday at Christiansborg. The municipalities presented 98 paintings made by children in third grade. Here you see some of the paintings.

In the afternoon, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary accompanied the Queen and attended the official opening of "Dronningens Ansigter" (The Faces of the Queen), here. An exhibition portraying her life.  Both paintings, clothes, porcelain, pictures and much more are exhibited. The three of them arrived to the Museum of National History at Frederiksborg Castle in Hillerød in a splendid mood Tuesday afternoon. Lovely seeing them together again, right? Especially, on such a joyful day.

As part of the opening, a new portray was revealed by Queen Margrethe herself. A portrait by Niels Strøbek, here. Watching the exhibition created both laughter and smiles.

What a magnificent outfit. So elegant and so simple. When wearing such a simple outfit every little detail counts. All details are also eye-catching. Mary has made a great comeback with her last two outfits. I sense that many of you was inspired by what she wore when attending the opening of "Naturværk" on June 12th, here. If I am correct: you like this looks very much too. So do I.

From Heaven I learned that Mary was wearing a brand new Beulah London dress. Very 1950s, right? Its full skirt; high collar; covered buttons; and belted waist. Already, I imagine her wearing the dress with all sorts of accessories. Colored pumps, diamond earrings, a tote-bag, even a pair of sneakers would do. She embraced the style with white suede pumps from Gianvito Rossi. Impressive how these two white colors match with such perfection. Mary has always had a good eye of finding pieces from different designers in the same colors.

Her stunning coral and diamond earrings are her old creation from Dulong Fine Jewelry. These earrings come with several pendants. Different in both color, style and size. She wore quite a few bracelets - two diamond bangles from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen, one from Cartier, another one from Dulong Fine Jewelry and a fifth one designed by Rebekka Notkin. Maybe you noticed that her Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen bangles look a lot like the ring. It is simply because they are from the same designer and collection. Her green beaded necklace is from Nadia Shelbaya.

Even Mary's hairstyle is all 1950s. Soft curls and a half updo. Another 50s-inspired thing, is her new clutch. 1950s style was all about colors and patterns, and this new clutch match that perfectly. Heaven made me aware of a significant detail. It looks like her monogram ('M') is embroidered in red. It now turned out to be a handmade handbag by Queen Margrethe specially made for Mary. Lovely gesture, right?

Day 3. Work visit in Indonesia

04 December

THE BOROBUDUR TEMPLE

This is the last day of her work visit in Indonesia. She has been accompanied by Minister of Development, Rasmus Prehn and Executive Director of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Natalia Kanem all along.

The last couple the three of them have visited, met and talked to people who are working to improve girls and women's sexual and reproductive health and rights in Indonesia.

First thing early Wednesday morning Crown Princess Mary visited the Borobudur Temple. Her visiting the temple was not part of the official program. Borobudur Temple is a Buddhist monastery associated with the Mahayana tradition. It is one of the biggest Buddhist monuments in the world. What an incredible place. I get why the Crown Princess was all overwhelmed of what surrounded her. Also Minister of Development, Rasmus Prehn seemed to enjoyed the old building's rising to be the Borobudur Temple.

Kongehuset ● Kongehuset Instagram Billed-Bladet ● Frederik et Mary

THE FINAL DAY

Later in the morning Crown Princess visited the healthcare center Puskesmas Tegalrejo. She was accompanied by Natalia Kanem (the Executive Director of UNFPA). These healthcare centers are part of the general improvement trying to offer better healthcare solutions for more people all around Indonesia. During their visit the Crown Princess took time to talk with girls and women at the healthcare center about sexual and reproductive health and rights.

After having visited Puskesmas Tegalrejo she was invited for lunch at the Sultan's palace hosted by the Sultan Hamengkubuwono X himself. The Crown Princess was warmly welcomed by the Sultan and his wife when she arrived. All three of them were in a great spirit, which is also why I believe it must have been a pleasant lunch.

All day she was all ears and eyes. Especially when attending a dialogue about family planning and the involvement of men. Crown Princess Mary attended this dialogue with Rasmus Prehn. On the other side of the dialogue were religious leaders. It was discussed who these leaders can use their importance to advise and improve knowledge for fathers to be. I imagine it being an interesting meeting for both the Crown Princess in her work and for Rasmus Prehn in his work as Minister of Development. The dialogue was the last thing on her agenda before leaving Indonesia.

Spending the morning at the Borobudur Temple in Java Mary was dressed in a comfortable outfit. She stunned wearing a brand new embroidered maxi skirt. Her new skirt has been identified as Zimmermann. I learned about it from Kate who managed to find it. Matched with a simple white button-down shirt Mary looked very casual. With all her similar white shirts this is still unidentified. Somehow I think this outfit is more than perfect for the occasion and place she was visiting. The atmosphere surrounding her; her mood and that outfit were getting along perfectly.

Mary has an amazing style for more than one reason. One of them is her way of wearing jewelry. When I wear the same amount of jewelry as her, I often feel overdressed. Do you know that feeling? But Mary never looked overdressed on jewelry. They compliment the rest of her look with such perfection. Wednesday morning she had chosen to wear golden jewelry from both Danish and international designers.

The golden earrings and the matching bracelet are created by Dulong Fine Jewelry. So is the bracelet shaped as a leaf. Take a closer look at all three bracelets, also the one from Cartier. I got a closer look and noticed that she was also wearing two golden diamond rings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. Love the simplicity of each piece as with the Nadia Shelbaya necklace. The orange sunglasses are still a big mystery. No one has been able to identify where they are from. Do you have the answer?

The beige Chloé ballet flats have been seen before on several similar occasions as in Indonesia. To me it is so unreal that she is wearing ballet flats this time a year, because in Denmark we have to cover every inch of our body with warm clothes.

At her private visit to the Borobudur Temple Mary was dressed casual in a white button-down and a new embroidered Zimmermann skirt. When she was on official duty she changed to a brand new blue printed dress featuring a white collar and hemlines. The print is small flowers, but it is not easy to see on a distance. Look closer and you will see. A very cute print. The dress is not a new favorite of mine, but she looks comfortable wearing it. A Royal Fashion Blog, here, I learned that Beulah London created her new dress.

Most of the jewelry were the same as earlier in the morning. Both earrings and bracelets were the same. She added another Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen diamond bracelet to the outfit to match the two diamond rings. The reason why these pieces look similar are because they are from the very same collection called Love Bands. Such beautiful pieces.

Wearing the Beulah London dress she changed her shoes twice. I am not quite sure which pair she wore first, but Mary both wore her beige Chloé ballet flats (as earlier) and the stunning Gianvito Rossi beige python pumps. I love when she wears colorful clothes and simpler shoes in neutral colors and vice versa.

The 100th anniversary of the diplomatic relationsship between Denmark and Poland

25 November

IN WARSAW

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary had traveled to Warsaw in Poland to attend the marking of the 100th anniversary of the re-establishment of diplomatic relations between Denmark and Poland.

The one-day visit takes place with royal attendance because the couple have personally been invited by H.E. President of Poland, Andrzej Duda. He and his wife warmly welcomed the Crown Prince Couple when they arrived to the presidential palace. Here they were officially welcomed and attended  lunch hosted by the Polish Presidential Couple.

Later on Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary accompanied the Presidential Couple at laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Solider. The atmosphere were quiet and honoring. They also attended the opening of a historian conference at Uniwersytet Warszawski such as visiting the Centrum Weterana - a centre for veterans.

Meanwhile Crown Prince Frederik payed attention on other things, Crown Princess Mary attended the launch of "Cities Changing Diabetes" - a project Warsaw is now part of. She also participated a roundtable-meeting on the inclusion of people with disabilities.

CONCERT & REPCETION

After a long day in Warsaw in company of the Polish Presidential Couple, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary were guests of honor at the concert and following reception at Palac Kultury in Nauki, Poland. The evening events were a perfect way to end the day and the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Denmark and Poland.

The couple was in a splendid mood when they arrived to Palac Kultury. They were about to watch a concert orchestrated by Czeslaw Mozil, a Danish-Polish musician also known as hosting the Polish X-Factor. It looks like a wonderful evening with lots of music, sining and smiles.

Instagram  Billed-Bladet  Royal Fashion Blog

When arriving to Poland Mary was beautifully dressed in a chic winter outfit. Lovely colors and amazing prints. From what I have seen she is only wearing reused clothes and accessories. Finally we get to see her in that matching Strenesse coat and skirt. Love the 60s vibe with a suit-like outfit. Both coat and skirt are made of a wool-blend fabric that makes them perfect for this time a year - with or without thighs. She embraced the style by wearing her old printed blouse from Stine Goya. That blouse and that blue color are just a great combination. At one point she also wore one of her light brown shawls.

As jewellery Mary had chosen - once again - white pearls. I still have no ID on who created those incredible diamond and pearl earrings. But the stunning white pearl ring is a Dulong Fine Jewelry design such as with the bracelet. We also got a little glimpse of what I strongly believe is her golden Cartier bangle.

I am sure you also noticed how well her clutch, shoes and gloves matched in color, right? Personally I really like when ones accessory are the same color. Makes an outfit look more complete. Mary is master of getting the colors right. This time she chose her 1602 beige clutch and pointed python pumps from Gianvito Rossi, which we have seen quite a lot the last couple of months. Her outfit is not surprising at all, but she played save - and won!

Mary simply stunned in her new dark red velvet dress. Does that dress say "it is soon Christmas" or what? I cannot afford this beautiful dress, but it differently makes me wanna find a similar one. Mary's new creation has been found at Beulah London. I learned about her new dress from Heaven. Every time I look at it, I see new details. Just look at the neckline. The sleeves. The length and the buttons at front. Somehow I was sure she was going to wear something reused, but obviously I was wrong.

At first I thought she was wearing her burgundy velvet pumps, but a close look made me change my mind. These are her suede studded pumps from Gianvito Rossi. This is the fourth time Mary is flashing these pumps. We first saw them in 2018 when the French Presidentail Couple visited Copenhagen, here. Then a year later Mary wore these pumps once again with a black suit the the Cancer Society's Honorary Award 2019, here. And then again a couple of week later at a memorial concert for the lose of Prince Henrik, here.

She embraced the style with an old monogram clutch from Louis Vuitton. It it more than 10 years old. Since then we have seen the little black clutch at six different events. Most of them evening events. Also the diamond Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen earrings have been worn before and are custom-made. The ring on her right hand is also a reuse worn numerous times. It features a warm orange colored stone. At the INDEX Award in 2013 a good picture was taken showing the ring clearly, here.
