Day 3. Official visit to the Faroe Islands

Eiði

June 13, 2025

King Frederik, Queen Mary and Princess Josephine have visited the islands of Tórshavn, Vágur, Fámjin, Tvøroyi as part of an official visit to the Faroe Islands. The tree days visit is hosted by Attorney General Aksel V. Johannesen.

On June 13th, the three of them docked with Dannebrog in Eiði. The King and Queen were pleased to meet the artists Sigrun Gunnarsdóttir. Sigrun is born and raised in Eiði. Her art is created with inspiration from the Faroese nature and culture.

The royal couple were then welcomed in Vaglið by the Mayor of Eiði. He introduced the them to the city council and gave a welcoming speech. King Frederik and Queen Mary also enjoyed lunch at Hólmhúsið.

Did you know that Mary's Strenesse jacket goes back to 2005 and is part of a pants suit? She first wore it in public in 2006 when visiting Kiel. When visiting Eiði Mary styled the jacket with a checkered Ralph Lauren skirt. It was first seen in 2018. I kinda like the skirt but I am not sure it goes well with the jacket. What do you think?

She accessorized the outfit with beloved golden Dulong Fine Jewelry earrings and a matching custom-made ring also crafted by Dulong Fine Jewelry. Her smashing black heeled boots are reused from Gianvito Rossi. I really want a pair of boots like these. Maybe brown leather.

Hiking in Eiðiskollur

North of Eiði lies the mountain Eiðiskollur. King Frederik, Queen Mary and Princess Josephine hiked Eiðiskollur. The mountain is a 343-meter-high rock formation which offered a magnificent view of the landscape.

On their trip to Eiðiskollur they found a few fjallabrúður - a unique mountain flower, which is also seen in Queen Mary's national costome.

Hiking around Eiði Mary had chosen the perfect outfit: her blue down-jacket from Patagonia and green Laksen trousers. Looks like she was also wearing a black jacket. The chic tweed cap is still a mystery. As you know it was first worn by her husband some year's back. Suddenly, Mary started wearing it.

She kept all her belongings in a Haglöfs backpack. The hiking boots are new ones from Salomon.

Reception at Danneborg

It has been three wonderful days for the royal couple and their youngest visiting Tórshavn, Vágur, Fámjin, Tvøroyi and Eiði.

On June 13th the King and Queen hosted a reception at Dannebrog. The reception marks the official end of the couple's visit.

Wauw! Mary looked absolutely stunning. Radiant in her bright red dress created by the talented Danish tailor Birgit Hallstein. She was the one tailoring Mary's wedding gown. Birgit Hallstein also made quite a few other dressed for Mary since the wedding in 2004.

We only have a couple of photos from the reception at Dannebrog. They show Mary in her stunning dress and jewellery from Rebekka Notkin. She is fond of wearing these earrings with the golden bangle and diamond studded ring. Iconic designs by Rebekka Notkin.

The royal Advent calendar 2024

First Sunday of Advent

During the ext month, King Frederik and Queen Mary will examine a number of Danish Christmas traditions every Sunday as part of the celebration of advent. They will be visiting a number of experts sharing their knowledge with the royal couple and the rest of us to learn more about Danish Christmas traditions from the Vikings till today.

This first Sunday of Advent, King Frederik visited the King Ship Museum in Roskilde. He met with archaeologist Jacob Nyborg Andreassen, how guided the King in the footsteps of the Vikings

Second Sunday of Advent

This Sunday, the royal court posted a second entry as part of their Advent calendar. This week, Queen Mary visited Grundtvig Church in Bispebjerg. She met with the parish priests Inge Lise Løkkegaard and Agnete Veit and future confirmation candidates to a little chat about Christmas traditions. Among others, they discussed Advent as a tradition and sang a hymn from the Danish hymnal. The future confirmation candidates were also given the opportunity to ask the Queen about her own Christmas when living in Australia and today.

She shared with us that as a child they usually woke up early and sneaked in to the Christmas tree to see if Santa had brought any gifts. They spend much time at the beach and had a huge gathering later on - taking place outside.

When moving to Denmark, she learned about traditions as Advent, Advents gifts, Christmas calendar lights and Christmas calendar gifts.

Most important to the Queen during Christmas is the gathering of family and remember those who are no longer here.

When visiting Grundtvig Church in Bispebjerg, Mary wore a brand new purple knitted sweater with a reused ba&sh blouse and wide-legged jeans. The black blazer is from Harris Wharf London. Can't wait to hear what you think about her outfit. Especially, your ideas to identify her new pieces of clothes. She embraced the look with Sophie Bille Brahe earrings, elegant Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen diamond rings and her chic Gucci glasses.

Third Sunday of Advent

This week, Queen Mary visited Den Fynske Landsby in Odense as part of the royal advent calendar. Den Fynske Landsby is an open-air museum with houses from Funen in the 19th century.

In Odense, the Queen met with Development Manager Lise Gerda Knudsen for a chat about how life and Christmas were in the 17th-19th century.

Lise shared historical facts about life in the countryside 200 years ago. The difficulties. Times around Christmas was often a bit different. People helped and supported each other with, among others, food.

Queen Mary was also told about superstition as a part of people's daily lives. A well-known phenomenon associated with Christmas is elves, who originate during this historical period.

Mary was dressed in a lovely warm outfit when visiting Den Fynske Landsby in Odense. She matched beautiful grey Dries Van Noten trousers with a black sweater. The chic wool-blend coat is from Strenesse. She styled her outfit with a knitted beanie and an amazing checkered scarf. Both pieces have been worn before, but are still not identified. The sames goes with the brown heeled leather boots. Her diamond ring is from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen.

Forth Sunday of Advent

We are only two days away from Christmas (three if you celebrate Christmas on December 25th). The court shared the fourth and last part of the Sunday of Advent calendar with King Frederik visiting Den Gamle By i Aarhus.

Den Gamle By (The Old City) is an open air museum with houses from 1600-1900. King Frederik visited the home of Ellen and Asger Jensen. A reconstructed home from the 1970s. The King helped Anna Wowk Vestergaard decorating the Christmas tree in Ellen and Asger's old home.

Hubertus Hunt in Dyrehaven 2024

03 November 2024

Princess Josephine accompanied her mother at the annual Hubertus Hunt in Dyrehaven north of Copenhagen. They watched the hunt and associated obstacle course from the balcony of the Eremitage castle.

The Hubertus Hunt goes back to the year of 1900. Back in the days, the riders hunted down a fox with help from their dogs. Today, the fox is simply a rider with a foxtail.

Queen Mary also handed over the "Queen Mary's Honorary Award" to rider Niels Goldschmidt and his horse Irish Diamond. She also presented the medals to the first, second and third place of the Hubertus Hunt's pony riders. In order: Malou Kiran Grenal, Maise Broge Nielsen and Tilde Plaep.

I love this time a year! Mainly because of what we wear. Long coats, woolen sweaters, boots, scarves, etc. That's why I always look forward to her attending the Hubertus Hunt. Because of her outfit. This year, Mary had chosen a pair of smashing green velvet trousers, a creamy white turtleneck, a reused Seeland down-vest and a stunning long Strenesse coat.

The trousers have yet to be found. She first wore them at the same event in 2018 and then again in 2019, when visiting Roskilde. Really want green velvet trousers myself. I adore velvet! Mary has also worn the Strenesse coat before at a similar event in Gribskov in 2019.

Mary matched the clothes with stunning brown heeled leather boots, a reused Prada bag and a wide-brimmed felt hat - embellished with a Ragnar R. Jørgensen brooch. Her delicate diamond ring is from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. She later changed to a bright knitted beanie.

"Digital Divide and Forced Displacement"

24 November

Crown Princess Mary gave the opening speech at the global event "Digital Divide and Forced Displacement". It is part of an annual report by DCR Dansk Flygtningehjælp focusing on issues and its affect on displaced people and with that try to challenge the humanitarian sector.

This year they challenged the understanding and preparing the humanitarian sector and those affected by forced displacement. Therefor the theme "Digitization - the digital divide and forced displacement".

Crown Princess Mary is patron of DCR Dansk Flygtningehjælp - Denmark's largest NGO.

We know very little from this event and not much has been published. DCR Dansk Flygtningehjælp posted a single photo on their Twitter account from when she gave her speech, which took place virtually. Apparently, they also made a small interview with Mary on the occasion (see embedded post). This gave us a better clue about what she was wearing for the event.

It showed that Mary had chosen a reused white blouse featuring a lively floral print. It is from Stine Goya. Her stunning brown hair was a great contrast of the white Dulong Fine Jewelry pearl earrings. The video also revealed that she paired the blouse with lighter grey trousers and her magnificent dusty blue Strenesse coat.

The 100th anniversary of the diplomatic relationsship between Denmark and Poland

25 November

IN WARSAW

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary had traveled to Warsaw in Poland to attend the marking of the 100th anniversary of the re-establishment of diplomatic relations between Denmark and Poland.

The one-day visit takes place with royal attendance because the couple have personally been invited by H.E. President of Poland, Andrzej Duda. He and his wife warmly welcomed the Crown Prince Couple when they arrived to the presidential palace. Here they were officially welcomed and attended  lunch hosted by the Polish Presidential Couple.

Later on Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary accompanied the Presidential Couple at laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Solider. The atmosphere were quiet and honoring. They also attended the opening of a historian conference at Uniwersytet Warszawski such as visiting the Centrum Weterana - a centre for veterans.

Meanwhile Crown Prince Frederik payed attention on other things, Crown Princess Mary attended the launch of "Cities Changing Diabetes" - a project Warsaw is now part of. She also participated a roundtable-meeting on the inclusion of people with disabilities.

CONCERT & REPCETION

After a long day in Warsaw in company of the Polish Presidential Couple, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary were guests of honor at the concert and following reception at Palac Kultury in Nauki, Poland. The evening events were a perfect way to end the day and the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Denmark and Poland.

The couple was in a splendid mood when they arrived to Palac Kultury. They were about to watch a concert orchestrated by Czeslaw Mozil, a Danish-Polish musician also known as hosting the Polish X-Factor. It looks like a wonderful evening with lots of music, sining and smiles.

Instagram  Billed-Bladet  Royal Fashion Blog

When arriving to Poland Mary was beautifully dressed in a chic winter outfit. Lovely colors and amazing prints. From what I have seen she is only wearing reused clothes and accessories. Finally we get to see her in that matching Strenesse coat and skirt. Love the 60s vibe with a suit-like outfit. Both coat and skirt are made of a wool-blend fabric that makes them perfect for this time a year - with or without thighs. She embraced the style by wearing her old printed blouse from Stine Goya. That blouse and that blue color are just a great combination. At one point she also wore one of her light brown shawls.

As jewellery Mary had chosen - once again - white pearls. I still have no ID on who created those incredible diamond and pearl earrings. But the stunning white pearl ring is a Dulong Fine Jewelry design such as with the bracelet. We also got a little glimpse of what I strongly believe is her golden Cartier bangle.

I am sure you also noticed how well her clutch, shoes and gloves matched in color, right? Personally I really like when ones accessory are the same color. Makes an outfit look more complete. Mary is master of getting the colors right. This time she chose her 1602 beige clutch and pointed python pumps from Gianvito Rossi, which we have seen quite a lot the last couple of months. Her outfit is not surprising at all, but she played save - and won!

Mary simply stunned in her new dark red velvet dress. Does that dress say "it is soon Christmas" or what? I cannot afford this beautiful dress, but it differently makes me wanna find a similar one. Mary's new creation has been found at Beulah London. I learned about her new dress from Heaven. Every time I look at it, I see new details. Just look at the neckline. The sleeves. The length and the buttons at front. Somehow I was sure she was going to wear something reused, but obviously I was wrong.

At first I thought she was wearing her burgundy velvet pumps, but a close look made me change my mind. These are her suede studded pumps from Gianvito Rossi. This is the fourth time Mary is flashing these pumps. We first saw them in 2018 when the French Presidentail Couple visited Copenhagen, here. Then a year later Mary wore these pumps once again with a black suit the the Cancer Society's Honorary Award 2019, here. And then again a couple of week later at a memorial concert for the lose of Prince Henrik, here.

She embraced the style with an old monogram clutch from Louis Vuitton. It it more than 10 years old. Since then we have seen the little black clutch at six different events. Most of them evening events. Also the diamond Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen earrings have been worn before and are custom-made. The ring on her right hand is also a reuse worn numerous times. It features a warm orange colored stone. At the INDEX Award in 2013 a good picture was taken showing the ring clearly, here.

Royal hunt in Grib Skov

20th November

The royal hunt and following dinner at Fredenborg Castle has been a tradition for many years. This year Crown Prince Frederik hosted the event along with his mother, Queen Margrethe. Also Crown Princess Mary was attending in the afternoon when all animals where showed.

She and her husband, including her mother-in-law, were in a splendid mood. They greeted all who had participated the hunt. Everybody were talking and having a good time in the cold weather outside Fredensborg Castle.

Later in the evening Queen Margrethe hosted a banquet on occasion of the annual royal hunt in Grib Skov. According to the royal court, it has become a tradition to give a toast to all who had participated the hunt at the following banquet.

Kongehuset  Instagram  Daily Mail

It was all dark and cold on that November night when Queen Margrethe, her son Crown Prince Frederik and daughter-in-law Crown Princess Mary were gathered at Fredensborg Castle to celebrate the royal hunt in Grib Skov. Not much has been published or written about the event, which makes it a bit more difficult to identify what Mary was wearing.

Nevertheless. She had chosen to wear a pallet of darker colors. It looks like she was wearing an old dark brown suit from Strenesse. Mary was first spotted wearing this suit in 2005, but a year later was the first time at an official event - an officiel visit to Schleswig-Holstein in Germany, here. What actually looks like a blouse, is part of the jacket. The long black coat is also a Strenesse design.

Mary embraced the chic winter outfit with beautiful diamond earrings from Sophie Bille Brahe. She has been really wearing these earrings a lot since the first time we saw them a couple of months back. The light brown leather gloves are also a reuse. I am not quite sure if the boots are new, but I think they are. A really lovely outfit for a cold evening outside. What is your style when it is getting colder and warmer clothes are needed?

Inauguration of the new panda plant

10 April

In 2014 Queen Margrethe received a very special and unique gift from China's President - two pandas. They have now arrived to Denmark in their new resident in the Zoo in Copenhagen. Queen Margrethe participated the inauguration of the new panda plant accompanied by her daughter-in-law, Crown Princess Mary.

Both of them arrived to the Zoo in a splendid mood. They were welcomed with flowers, handshakes and smiles. The Queen officially opened the panda plant by cutting the traditional red ribbon. She got a large smile on her face when the bow almost flew off by itself. It was great amusement for all of them.

Later on the two royal women were given a guided tour around in the panda plant by, among others, architect Bjarke Ingels, who designed the facility. The Crown Princess also made a few pictures herself - maybe to show her children

April weather in Denmark is a mix of rain, sun, wind and snow. One day it's sunny. The next day it's rainy. On Wednesday evening it was cold and cloudy. Both Queen Margrethe and Mary were dressed up wearing warm coats and gloves. I truly understand why. The Queen wore a beautiful white wool-blend coat, a bright red jacket underneath and black accessories.

Mary embraced the style at the inauguration by wearing her blue Strenesse coat. The coat was first seen on an official visit to Latvia in December last year, here. It comes with a matching skirt which was also worn in Latvia. This time she had chosen a black dress. Heaven managed to identify her brand new dress as Oscar de la Renta. It features a lovely white pearl neckline. Did you see that?

She accessories the look with old diamond and white pearl earrings. She has worn them a couple of times before, but I have not yet found out where they are from. The black suede Jimmy Choo pumps, leather gloves and Quidam clutch perfectly matched her outfit. The pumps was first worn on a business and cultural promotion visit in Texas back in March, here. What an edgy and chic outfit!

Day 2. Officiel visit to Latvia

Friday, December 7th

On occasion of the 100th anniversary of Latvia becoming an independant state the Danish Crown Prince couple were invited to Riga. The official visit take place from December 6th to 7th.

The Crown Prince couple arrived to Riga (the capital of Latvia) on Thursday. They were warmly welcomed by Latvia's President, Raimonds Vējonis and his wife at Riga Castle at an official welcoming ceremony. They also visited the Freedom Monument in Riga, had lunch with the chairman of the Latvian parliament, Ināra Mūrniece and attended dinner in the evening with everything it takes to welcomed a Crown Prince couple.

On day two they couple first visited Art Museum Riga to watch the presentation of architectural drawings, which are to transform the old tobacco factory in Riga to a gathering place for creative expression. A conference for creative industries was also officially open during the vist at Art Museum Riga. Then, while the Crown Prince visited an exhibition on Danish design Crown Princess Mary payed at visit to Center Dardedze - an NGO that works for a childhood without abuse.

Finally, the couple visited 'A Century of Latvia". An exhibition at the National Museum showing Latvia's 100 years of independence. More than 1,000 unique objects, photographies, films, portraits, etc. are exhibited as part of 'A Century of Latvia'.

Dressed in white a light blue Mary looked like a dreamy winter wonderland. I am completely in love with everything about her outfit on day two. The combo of fabrics, colours and prints are incredible. I simply can not get enough of this outfit. What was your first thoughts? I have had several different designers in mind. I have made several requests. Now I learned that her new coat and matching skirt have been found at Strenesse. What a lovely finding. Her matching pink set from Andiata, here, reminds a lot of what she wore in Riga. Don't you think? This wool style looks great on Mary. She wore the two new pieces with a reused white printed blouse from Stine Goya seen a couple of times before, here.

Mary embraced the style by wearing light blue suede Gianvito Rossi pumps. They are a reused like the rather large white pearl earrings. These were first worn at an event in 2017, here. I was never able to identify them. The same goes with the ring on her right hand. It is still a true mystery to me. It is similar in style to something Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen makes, but I every found a thing to prove it.

Once again she showed off a golden diamond pieces from Dulong Fine Jewelry. Matching the rest of her outfit, she had chosen to wear one of her blue clutches from Quidam and leather gloves.

Old news: Dressage at Broholm Castle

Thursday, June 11th

Crown Princess Mary attended annual dressage at Broholm castle.

About a month ago Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary were invited to attend this years royal wedding in Sweden between Prince Carl Philip and Sofia Hellqvist on June 13th. Two days before the Crown Princess visited Broholm castle to attend the annual DM rally in dressage. It was an unofficial event. Apparently, the Crown Princess is an annual guest. Caroline Heering and Mette Ahlefeldt-Laurvig also attended to watch the dressage. Friday after lunch Crown Princess Mary arrived to Amalienborg Castle once again to attend the royal wedding the next day.

During the couple of days she spend at Broholm, she was dressed very casual, but magnificent as always. A great inspiration if you like some for you next everyday look. One of the days she was wearing a denim blue blazer which I, finally, have found at Hugo Boss. For a long time I was so sure Hugo Boss was the designer I was looking for, but unfortunately it has taken me quite a while to find pictures of the model. She matched the blazer with a white pleated Style Butler blouse and black trousers. The outfit was accessorized with Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses and Marianne Dulong earrings.

Her second outfit was a pair of black trousers, a white blouse and a dark green jacket which I think could be from Strenesse, but I am not quite sure. She embrace a chic style by wearing her brown leather Ralph Lauren bag and the the Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses. Two outfits I would love to see her wear any time, at any occasion.

Congratulations Queen Margrethe!!!

April, 16th

Today Queen Margrethe celebrated her 74th birthday at Marselisborg castle near Aarhus. The unusual location didn't change that the Queen and her family appeared on the veranda to greet those in attendance such as the press.

Bt.dk

Hip hip hooray! Queen Margrethe celebrates her 74th birthday Marselisborg castle along with her two sons and their families. It is a tradition every year on the Queen's birthday the royal family shows on the balcony of Amalienborg Palace in Copenhagen, this year it was a bit more unusual because Margrethe and her husband, Prince Henrik, had chosen to celebrate her birthday at Marselisborg castle near Aarhus. Like every other family who was about the celebrate their granny, arrived Frederik and Mary to the castle in Aarhus along with their four wonderful children -Prince Christian, Princess Isabella, Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine. This little scene captured Agnés Colbert on camera (pic. 1) as well as when they left Marselisborg a few hours later. It was just so lovely to see all of them together, like any other family. Mary had some great moments with Vincent and Isabella. Prince Christian seemed to enjoy time with his grandmother and grandfather, and of course cousins. Prince Joachim and his sweet wife Princess Marie also attended the Queen birthday celebration along with his two sons and their son Prince Henrik, named after his grand papa (as they call Prince Henrik). I do not think Margrethe could have wished for a better birthday than this one with her family, at the castle in Aarhus she love so much.

As always I want to congratulate our lovely Queen on behalf of her birthday. She has been a very beloved woman for many years and I'm sure she will for many more.

To wear brown in April is maybe not what I would have chosen, but as usual Mary totally rocked all shapes of the brown colour at the Queen's birthday. A clever choice and match to her lovely dark brown hair which by the way was fantastic. Light and wavy. What I first noticed was the Strenesse skirt. I never really been a big fan of it, don't know why, but somehow it looked cheap. Not as stylish as we are use to. This time, I adore the skirt. It looks so elegant and chic. The way she matched it with a white silk (?) blouse and a chocolate brown cardigan, well what's not to love about that? Neither the blouse or cardigan have I seen before. Have you? She looks so comfortable in her clothes. When she and Frederik arrived with their four children, she also wore a long coat but I'm not sure which one, nor if it's black or brown. I believe brown is most likely but I can't recall her wearing any brown coat at a previous event. I also spotted her caramel bag from Ralph Lauren when they arrived to Marselisborg castle. Second thing I noticed was, her actually wearing brown sheer tights. Crazy, right? But it just looks amazing next to the light brown skirt and Christian Louboutin pumps.  I feel it's a million years since we have seen those. Think somehow in 2008 or 2009 she wore the pumps with a brown Hugo Boss dress, maybe you remember. To top of this incredible outfit, she was wearing golden Marianne Dulong earrings and a black pearl bracelet from the same designer as well as a Shamballa Jewels bracelet featuring a pink diamond ball. So is her brown outfit a go or a no go? To me it is differently a go

Day 1: State Visit from Vietnam

September, 18

Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik have invited the President, His Excellency Truong Tan Sang and Madam Mai Thi Hanh, of Vietnam to Denmark. The visit will last from September 18th to 20th.

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary at the arrival in the airport of Copenhagen

Now we are in the middle of September and the cold and windy weather have for real arrived to Denmark. This means our coats, gloves and sometimes gloves are needed. But who says you have to dress boring in the autumn? Black isn't the only opportunity we have. I'm personally a huge fan of autumn and winter, they are my favourite months a year. Yes I know, I know summer is everybody's favourite but not mine. There is just something special about the cold months. Long dark nights while reading a good book, raped in a wool blanket with a cup of tea. Wool sweaters and scarves. It really does not get any better! Frederik and Mary were also dressed propoly to welcome the President and his wife from Vietnam in the airport of Copenhagen. Wearing a kerosene coloured coat she showed who to use colours in winter. I really like the combo with the black accessories. The coat stands out and is really lovely on her. Funny thing that both Mary, Queen Margrethe, Princess Marie and the President's wife Madam Mai Thi Hanh did all wear shades of blue. Actually the President himself wore a blue tie. She chose to wear her black hat made by Susanne Juul with a simple and beautiful left side chignon hairstyle. A hairstyle I love to do because it's so feminine and it is great for any kind of outfit -day and night, work and evening. By the way, the hat she both owns in black and a significant purple colour. Mary added black, leather gloves such as a leather belt to make her outfit complete. I would never have thought of wearing a belt outside my outwear! Great idea to all of us, thanks Mary. Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen is the creator of the silver diamond earrings. Those you find in the link below is the same model as hers but remember Mary's have diamond attached. The black clutch under her arm is the one we already know all about, Carlend Copenhagen's Vanessa and the pointed black leather pumps is from Danish SAND Copenhagen

Crown Princess Mary & Madam Mai Thi Hanh visiting the kindergarden Humlebien

Despite the rainy and cloudy weather Mary and Madam Mai Thi Hanh visited Humlebien, a kindergarden in Hellerup, in there afternoon. They were both welcomed with flowers by children, the leader of the kindergarden and the major of the city. I just have to leave a comment of the President's wife in her traditional suit. I think she looks absolutely lovely in the power pink colour next to her dark hair. Really really beautiful and very feminine. The reason for the visit was to introduce one of the Mary Foundation's projects Free of Bullying (Fri for Mobberi) and to show her how it all works. The children had drawn fanciful drawings that were given to both women doing the visit. It made both of them smile and laugh. To me it looks like a very relaxed visit with lots of good memories for all of them to remember.

Mary was dressed in clear lines with not that much frisky details something I like about her personal style. Simple and not confusing at all. Her figure allow her to wear almost anything she could ever dream of. Most attention was given to the white Strenesse pencil skirt. A good old item I never get tired of and matched with the black peplum from Hugo Boss and the bordeaux accessories -shoes are from Prada- she stole my heart! The combination is great. Gala dinner at Fredensborg Castle

Photo @ Agnés Colbert

Dressed for a gala night Frederik arrived with his beautiful wife to Fredensborg Castle. In the light of  the press' blitz Mary stepped out of the shiny black crown car (Krone bil) to attend a gala dinner with the President and his wife who are on a visit in Denmark these days. This is more of a welcome gala dinner and wauw I am amazed by Mary and her powder pink princess outfit! I literally lost my breath. She is shining like a star in the skye. So who made this wonder? Well I'll tell you right away. Jayson Brunsdon did this gown especially to Mary. A custom-made gown for the Crown Princess of Denmark what an honor as a designer. A dream I would dream of as a designer. The tulle skirt reminds me of Disney princess, am I right? Even more with the stunning lace peplum which is a lovely detail to give the gown. Notice how well the two colours -powder pink and blush lavender- match each other? Really beautiful work. I could keep talking about this gala gown for hours, I will spare you.

To this magnificent outfit she wore her diamond wedding tiara, Prada pumps, a Prada pink clutch in the same brilliant colours as the tulle skirt and a silver diamond bracelet on her right wrist. I think you could also be wearing her diamond Marianne Dulong ring on the same hand as the bracelet. Mary also wore some kind of pink and diamond earrings, I think we have seen them somewhere before. They could be inherited? The colour of her dress made the light blue Order of Elephant stand out. And her well-done hairdo... now, do you understand why I'm amazed by her?!

Mary you are amazing! When she visited the center for abused women in Amman, the women were crying so heartbreaking to see. I fell their pain. Mary showed her sympathy and tried to comfort the women. They were hugging her all the time and kissing her on the checks. How to comfort someone who is so sad and have so many traumas? By listing. Show that you truly are interested. Exactly what Mary did. This scandinavian woman in her red dress and loose brown hair was so patient. All her attention was given to the women. To me the pictures speak for themselves. Again it's really not important what she's wearing, how expansive it is or anything. What I like it to see that she's wearing all reused stuff. Nothing overwhelming or too laud at all. This is the last day she is in Jordan but only two days really make a difference.

Thanks for following her visit with me.

At her third and last day in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Crown Princess Mary delivered a speech during the only and last event at the Women Deliver Conference. She caught everyones attention with her speech. I fell, even though I have only seen the pictures that there were a very special atmosphere in the room when she gave her speech. She has a natural way of speaking to people of course at her national language, english. The english language is much more easy to use when to express yourself. Many more words to use.

Because of one of my amazing readers I can give you the id. on her lovely white blouse she was wearing at this last day. It comes from Hugo Boss BOSS Black Autumn/Winter 2007/2008. It turns out that she has actually worn it before; my absolute favourite outfit! It was worn in a interview called Mads, Marie and the Crown Princess. The two children had the chance to met the Crown Princess, they both suffer from rare diseases. To you who would be interested in seeing this sweet and life-affriming interview (in danish) you find it here

The Hugo Boss blouse was worn with an reused Strenesse skirt made of silk and is from the 2007 collection. The earrings are from Jewlscph.

Thanks for following Mary's trip with me!

Update: Some new pictures from her trip to Malaysia have appeared and I would love to share them with you of course. It is always great to find new and unseen pictures that give us the chance to see a new outfit! I am not quite sure when and where the pictures were taken only that they are from this trip. It surprised me when I saw her look with the new Max Mara Studio dress featuring the print of cherry flowers, very delicate. It was my reader Jenny who I.D. it. Thanks! To the new dress she wore large gold Marianne Dulong earrings, a bright orange clutch and pumps from Gianvito Rossi. Great look!
